As Vladimir was still attacking the Hydra he couldn't help but to notice the ki users's combo, his eyes went wide the moment Gen was thrown into the cell and tore it apart. The massive power that expanded towards the rest of the place, the force it came with smashed everyone into the ground or the walls. Vladimir in his case was stuck to the roof - THAT WAS FUCKING AMAZING! - Was the only thing his brain could think of, obviously being intoxicated by the euphoria caused by the dangerous yet amazing Technique.
It lasted for a few second before he came off the roof like a sticker and used his wind powers to lower the impact, his armor faded when he was once again in the ground. It seemed that his companions were safe and with minimal wounds. He walked towards Callis and Akane - Thanks you for lending your strenght, but it's ok now - He said by patting his arm, magic and energy going back to Callis, at least he'll be able to walk or even run.
I'll go check on that kid - He said as he pointed the destroyed cell as he walked towards it.

They were doing well holding off the hydra while the three brawlers prepared their jailbreaking technique. The resulting explosion from the Gen Missile made every inch of Arthur's body go abuzz from the shockwave. His icy throne sunk their claws into the ground and reached for Haruko to stop the small seamstress from being blown off the catwalk, but Martha came over and pulled both of them away before the shockwave could.
"Heh, thanks, Martha." He told the energetic athlete. "Everyone else okay?" He shouted toward the others while creating a new chair for himself. He looked over the damage Gen sustained and if it was as bad as it should've been from that explosion, he'd heal him. Being unconscious wasn't something he could do anything about though.
"Right, the prisoner. Be careful, Dan. If we got the wrong cell or if the hydra comes back, there's gonna be trouble," Arthur warned his friend while creating the bridge he asked for.

Haruko could only watch in awe at the combo of attacks everyone did against the hydra. While Haruko attempted to toss knives down to anchor herself to the boards, she was quickly yanked off her feet with Arthur and brought to the edge of the room. The seamstress casually fixed her jacket and hair once Martha let them go, giving her a thumbs up.
"Thanks for the save there! Wow..." Haruko looked on at the destruction Gen caused, grimacing at the damage done to his arm. "Is he free now...?" The seamstress wondered, staring at the cell. She also paused to look at the strange new armor Vlad was wearing.
"How long do you think we have?" The seamstress asked Arthur, staring at the void below them. Even with an impressive attack like that, could the monster still be alive?

-Why?- Kuro-san turned around in a flash and showed a flicker of emotion in his empty eyes, a sudden spark of anger that quickly died out as if a single match was doused thrown into the ocean. -I’ll humor you Arachne-kun.- The Forgotten Emperor turned around standing as tall as he was, his face an emotionless mask. -There are many things that motivate people…- As he spoke the shadowy figure behind him, floating menacingly stretched one of its arms and used one of its very peculiar bow-like fingers, sliding it over one of the golden strings surrounding Kuro-san. -Some desire money.- The soft whistling note coming out the string seemed to shift from sound to light as a golden face appeared, showing Falken Degiraz. -Others wish to stand for their values.- A golden visage of Callis materialized out of golden particles of light. -And others don’t have anything in their mind apart from their basic instincts.- Masako’s face replaced Callis, almost as if it came out of the Beast Knight visage’s mouth.
-My only reason for everything I’ve done, everything I do, and everything I’ll do is simple.- He approached closer as Melancholy Memory followed him, playing more strings and creating a swirling mass of golden particles that slowly began to take shape. -I could’ve let the days go by, forgetting everything about her.- The particles gradually coalesced into a female form, this time full body. -But I can’t, so you see, we have something in common Arachne-kun.- The golden effigy finally took proper form, revealing a Japanese woman in her mid 20’s dressed in an elegant kimono with her hair in a very delicate hairstyle held together by an elaborate headpiece. -We both are motivated by love, Arachne-kun.- And with that said he dropped a large lever down, opening a hatch beneath the construct, letting it fall towards the sea beneath them, vanishing after dropping through the cloud sphere surrounding the prison. -So I think you understand the purity of my motives and why I can’t stop now.-
He slowly walked past Yuu towards the doorway. -I think we won’t see each other again Arachne-kun, so this is a farewell, tell your master that her payment is already wired and the remaining pieces from Russia are in a storage depot that she now owns.- The Forgotten Emperor crossed the doorway and without turning around he added. -Things are about to change, so I do hope you and your sister enjoy the sun, leaving the hidden shadows, hopefully, the world will accept you. at least more than your master.- With that said he began to leave unless Yuu wanted to stop him.
Callis stood up with Akane’s help. -Thank you Akane.- The Beast Knight was quite tired and injured but he was still in one piece. -It was my pleasure Mes Kearney.- Callis replied to Vladimir as part of the energy he lent was returned, allowing him to stop the shakiness on his legs. -I’m okay Akane, we need to check on Mes Shishioh and Mes Fukuma.- He looked around checking the area. -And we also need to find Mes Ishikawa and Mes… Nagare was it?- He commented not seeing Goemon and Ichigan in close proximity of the blast.
Rin rushed towards Gen’s side, sliding on the floor to reach him. -Gen are ya alright?- She was truly worried if she couldn’t contain her accent. -Don’t ya go dyin’ on me!- She said grabbing his jacket with both hands. Gen, who until now was dead silent managed to talk, without opening his eyes. -Calm down, I’m okay, we’ve three fuckin’ healers around.- Gen managed to open his eyes and looked at his ruined arm. -Fuck… I keep fuckin’ breakin’ this one.- Rin couldn’t avoid laughing at Gen’s comment. -Ya should think about switching back to yer right instead of being a southpaw.- As she talked she realized that Vladimir was approaching and she quickly shifted back to proper speech. -Kearny-san, can you help my brother?-
Ichigan and Goemon were flat on their backs, 50 meters away from the explosion. The duo struggled to get up for a moment, not because they’re injured, but because they had crashed so hard they were indented into the stone floor, right in the edge of the walkway connecting with the outer wall. -My kid packs a fuckin' punch.- Ichigan said, with pride. -Well Fukuma dai-sensei taught him well.- Ichigan finally managed to break free and his smile got even wider. He saw Z and the others walk past them and ignored them, not caring about what their plans were at the moment. He stood up and helped Goemon emerge from his crater with a hand. -Let's go Afro-chan, I hope my kid didn't accidentally skewer the old man, that would be awkward.-
If anybody got close to the cell they would see Reiji Fukuma, the 8 Styles Master, sitting in complete silence, in a perfect meditative pose.

Akane let go of Callis as soon as he confirmed he was fine. Nodding to his suggestion, she headed towards where Rin and Gen were, Vlad would probably be able to help, so she just stuck around next to the shishioh lass.
"Let Vlad handle this, we can't lower our guard just yet, let's move"- Akane told Rin as she set her hand on her shoulder.
As Musashi got closer to the cell she saw Reiji Fukuma, normally her instincts would scream at her to keep a distance, but the aura that the man radiated drew her in, it was truly a perfect state of zen. Naturally, she would not interact directly with him, that was up for someone who knew him better. Akane looked back, wondering if anyone was actually gonna try to bring him out.
As they moved towards Yuu, Z began wondering why he was helping the dolls at all, it was something odd, he had nothing to gain and he had risked too much already. somehow, that curiosity only made him push further, there had to be a logical reason, perhaps he was simply starved for interaction with another creature that just didn't result in immediate conflict, but what if there was more to it? could it be that his very being was experiencing changes? there were too many questions to simply stop now.
"Martha, in searching for Yuu, we might come across your maker, what should be done about her? Is she not your oppressor?"- Z inquired, wondering what she would say about her.

Yes! - The man said, with a subtle smile. He observed the Cell-Destroyer who was laying in the ground, if Rin looked at the paladin's face she would notice his electric blue eyes shifted its color to white as he analized her brother.
A brief seconds later the man sat at Gen's side and with a movement of his hand, another pentagram was summoned. Celtic symbols began to float around as they moved and landed on the damaged areas, then, celtic knots began to expands towards the rest of his body, almost surrounding Gen as if he was wearing a shiny armor. Vladimir placed his hand on the damaged arm and with his thumb he pressed, the magic surrounding Gen entered his body and in a fraction of seconds he'll be like minutes ago before breaking the cell.
I think that should be enough - The ex-paladin said before stepping back and glance towards the inside of the cell, Reiji Fukuma was inside... Vladimir wasn't sure how to break such concentration... Maybe the voice of his students would catch his interest? Maybe if someone passed food the smell would interest him? He wasn't sure - Oh, I forgot to say this... uh... - He said to Gen - In the words of a dear friend of mine That frickin' punch was fuckin' awesome! - He said with a bright smile, the british accent he had until now disappeared to be reeplaced with his irish one.

"Uh, two minutes max, I'd say," Arthur told Haruko. The hydra seemed fairly resiliant. "Though if Dan's right and this guy's as powerful as he's supposed to be, I guess he should be able to kick its ass in no time." Since Vlad was already patching up Gen, Arthur wasn't needed over there. His chair clicked along the ground as he joined Akane to inspect the prisoner. In his meditative state, he didn't seem to notice them yet.
"Should we disturb him?" They did need him on his feet if he was gonna be of use to them. If he could do anything after all the time he spent locked away, thought maybe that was exactly why he was meditating. He was keeping himself in shape in a way other than exercise.
"If we are, I'd say Gen or one of you two," he looked at Goemon and Ichigan, "should be the one to do it. I'd rather he sees a familiar face first, lest we go down with the prison."

Dan nodded at Arthur’s warning. “We have the right cell. Callis confirmed it and he’s got inside information. The hydra, however…” He paused on the abyss’ edge, tilting his head the minimum he could to gaze down into the darkness. It wasn’t dark just due to distance, he had realized that seeing people fall. There was something about the abyss that swallowed up light, reducing visibility to maybe 20 feet maximum. Something as big as the hydra could make that trip in an instant. He liked risk, but not that kind of risk. “Watch my back.” He asked as he ventured over.
The dust was settling and he could see Gen’s master. The man was still huge, a mountainous figure of muscle even sitting down. Dan balked approaching him, not out of fear of his physique but a creeping sensation of dread from his utter stillness. “Fukuma...sensei?” He stumbled over his words, trying to remember what little he knew about Japanese and its honorifics. This was wrong. Nobody should be that still after that impact. Stephan landed a few feet from Fukuma on the other side, having simply lept over. “Mister Nomene, is there anything in Fukuma’s file about this?” He asked, stopping just in front of Fukuma and checking for breathing and a pulse.
“Oh, I like where this is going.” Robin smiled and leaned in. “Bet it would only take one punch to do the bitch in.” Martha on the other hand shrunk in on herself. Her shoulders hunched and her face furrowed up as she thought. “I… don’t know.” She said. “I want to be free as much as anybody. And I wouldn’t be sad if Marika died, but… Yuu and Chelsea would be.” “Oh come on, that’s easily outweighed by the rest of us! Marika hurts people. All the time. We got rid of her future kid, we can get rid of her.” “We didn’t kill Arachne…” Martha mumbled. “I just don’t know. Maybe… Z can threaten her into letting us go?” “Whatever. I say kill her.” Robin gave Z a thumbs up.
Yuu saw Kuro-san’s effigy and she understood it all at once. Not the details. She didn’t know what had happened to this lost lover, but it did not matter. Kuro-san was willing to tear the world asunder to get her back. Yuu could only stare as the door popped open. “Yes. I understand completely.” Her fingers curled back, met the end of a kunai hidden up her sleeve. One to the back of the head. Throw three just to be sure if he tried to block. It would be so quick, and her sins in this event might be redeemed.
And at the same time, they would be for nothing. Her fingers left the kunai and she fell to her hands. “I do not want to leave the shadows.” She said. “I belong in darkness, Kuro-san.” She looked to Marika, stable but still destroyed. It wasn’t worth it. It was all worth it. All for love.

Two minutes wasn’t enough time to do much, so Haruko followed the team toward the cell Reiji had been placed into. Vlad was already healing Gen, so there was no need to tell Arthur to go over there. She stared at the destruction before her and whistled at the display. “To think they could punch a hole this big…” She mumbled to herself.
Following Arthur, she nodded at his suggestion. “I agree, someone who Reiji knows should wake him up. Wouldn’t want him thinking someone blew open his cell to challenge him, right?” Haruko chuckled at the idea of someone challenging a man of this strength. Haruko then glanced back down into the abyss to see if the hydra could be spotted at all.
“We don’t have much time, could you please try to do this quickly?” She asked the group, taking a step back in case he stirred from his slumber more violently than she was expecting. How could he sleep through an attack like that?

Reiji Fukuma was silent, seemingly unperturbed even when one of his disciples punched a hole through multiple layers of charms. In fact, upon closer inspection he was too still, to the point that there was a layer of dust over his body. Cobwebs climbed down his body into the floor, some of course broken by the pressure of Gen’s attack, but mostly Reiji looked more like an ancient statue than a real person. It looked as if he didn’t move in months or even years. Goemon and Ichigan approached, inspecting their master with concern evident in their faces. -This ain’t good, I only saw this twice and both times was fuckin’ bad.- Ichigan commented, while Goemon commented. -It’s what I think it is? What you told me about Fukuma-Sensei comrades?- Ichigan nodded, confirming his student questions.
Callis, still a bit dazed, as even if he got magically healed, is not the same as proper rest and natural healing had a hard time understanding what they were talking about so he asked. -I beg your pardon Mes Williams and Mes… Nagare, was it? But what are you two talking about?- Ichigan and Goemon turned to face Callis and attempted to explain. -Well ya know, he ain’t all here, ya get what I mean blondie?- Ichigan attempt was quite a failure, Callis, and surely anybody else wouldn’t get the gist of the problem. -What happened is that Fukuma-sensei’s mind is stuck in the Gainen Space.- Goemon attempted to clarify, but still it didn’t give a lot of details. -This might have happened during the Sakurajima incident.- The Karate Star theorized. The mere mention of the island made Callis shiver. He found out what happened there and how he almost killed them all, or at least a part of him and it was in his nature to feel guilty about it, even if he wasn’t directly responsible for it.
Goemon realized not everyone here knew about Sakurajima, but before he could explain he was interrupted by Gen. -Fuckin’ Sakurajima was a fuckin’ mess.- His arm was covered in wounds, but he could move it, thanks to Vladimir’s healing. -By the way, great fuckin’ job magic man, ya’re a better healer than frosty over there.- Gen pointed with his head at Arthur as he stood up. -A while ago I was almost killed by playin’ the fuckin’ hero back in Romania, but the old man used the Gainen medals to save my life.- Gen pointed at Dan, Goemon and Callis. -They happened to be around that time to help or to do other stuff.- He glanced at Callis who looked away. -But thanks to him I’m standin’.- The Hot-Blooded Boxer did a short retelling of the events as he learned about them from Rin and others, so the rest would understand it, he also explained the concept of Gainen Medals.
Once that short explanation was out of the way, Gen continued. -I think I can get to him, but we better move him and find a way to leave this place.- Ichigan and Goemon nodded and picked their master up, he was still locked into the same stance, but they were carrying him almost like a piece of furniture or a sofa. Gen turned towards Callis -Do you know where we can leave from this place?- Callis nodded. -It might take a while, but I think I can manage to get us all out of here, even Reiji, if he is as important as you make it seem.- The Beast Knight checked the whole group. -We need to move, follow me.- He guided them towards the way his group came from, hopefully they would be able to use the communications in the Administrative Branch to make an emergency exit from Shirokumo.
Rin approached Vladimir as they gathered their stuff. -Thank you so much for healing my brother, I think I already introduced myself, but I’m Rin Shishio.- She extended her hand, very professional-like, as she was taught in her private school, as Vladimir was a westerner, or so she thought. Gen was walking alongside Ichigan and Goemon, holding his battered arm with a makeshift splint. Callis talked to Akane. -At least we didn’t lose anyone.- He whispered. -I’m so relieved about that, but I hope the Bureau doesn’t… What was the phrase Norio used? “Throw me under the bus”...- He paused for a second, trying to make heads or tails of the phrase. -I still don’t get it, but I hope I don’t become a scapegoat for the mess in the prison.-
Kuro-san was enveloped by a shower of blue sparks as the teleporter created by Dr. Lazarus took him from Shirokumo to a bunker. The trio of scientists, Kago, Shikishima and Lazarus were expecting him. He walked past them, ignoring Kago’s attempt at a greeting. He went directly towards a group of screens. -Are we ready?- He asked without turning back. The trio nodded and Shikishima spoke. -We are. The portal is stable, the soldiers are ready to protect it and we’re only waiting for your command.- Kuro-san, arms crossed behind his back observed several screens. One was broadcasting the JHWAB HQ, another was following the progress of Callis’ group through Shirokumo and he had a couple more covering different areas. -The moment the Ashura King strikes, turn on the machine.-
With that said he left the bunker, walking outside, revealing that he was currently in Sakurajima and flanking the entrance of the bunker were two androids, with technology similar to Falken’s. Many more of them were working around and patrolling the island.
Deep in the Maximum Security Wing of Shirokumo, a pile of tendrils and tentacles pulsates with purple energy, each part slowly coiling over each other forming a cocoon. Masako Hihashi… Ikari Fukushi… Riku Kurenai… All of them were there and were gone as well. Something else was there. Something darker and deeper. Something that had begun to manifest many years ago, in young Masako. Masako who drew power from the death of others. Masako who evolved with the times. Masako interacted with Benkeinium, a metal known for having connections with the Gainen. Masako, a man who swallowed the Fighting Spirit of a Spirit Boxer. Masako, a man who was forcibly turned into Ikari Fukushi, a Vessel for the Hatred Medal.
Masako… unknown to all… Masako was a Shindou.
Masako was a Vessel himself.
Masako was everlasting hunger made flesh.
Masako consumes lifes to become stronger and sturdier.
Masako spent weeks, if not months in the depths of the Uzhastale.
Masako is the beginning of our tale and the end of everyone else’s stories.

Akane frowned at the prospective of Callis being used as a scapegoat, she set her hands on his cheeks as she spoke at him
"Listen to me, I will not allow them to do that, you have been most loyal to them, their incompetence won't be your burden. It is not fair and it is not right!"
The thoughts after made Akane uncomfortable, she would stand by him, but would her clan do so as well? the idea of the Musashi Clan antagonizing the entire bureau over Callis seemed unrealistic, despite her wishes, she did not have full control over the clan, not even her mother did. And the Onoha branch disapproved of her relationship from the very beginning...The best thing she could do now was being hopeful this wouldn't escalate further, as she was planning on retiring after this mission. Akane could not keep this fighting pace on the field due to her health.
“I will make sure she releases you both”-Z told Robin, he wasn’t sure if killing her was necessary for it, or if she could do it by choice, either way, there was something about the dolls being slaves that did not sit well with the Raian, maybe it wasn’t something like kindness, but at least there was an unhealthy amount of curiosity behind it. Would they behave differently after being set free? Z wanted to know more than anything
“Thanks, Z.” Martha hugged the alien’s arm as they moved on. They walked in relative silence for a while, only broken up by occasional explosions as Robin boosted herself ahead. It was a long and winding road back to the room where they had left Marika and Yuu, but eventually, they made it.
“Yo Yuu! Glad you’re good. Z had something he wanted to… uh… talk to you about.” She paused upon noticing the state the room was in. There was a fight here, and it looked like Yuu had won. Marika had a bandage wrapped round her throat, but she was breathing, while the offending party was largely ash. “No…” Martha whispered when she realized who it had to be. Cadence was coming here. “Yuu, you didn’t…”
Z already knew, the life energy of Cadence disappeared a while ago, death barely registered to him as a tragedy, it was just something to be avoided at all costs, and she had failed.
“She did, such is survival”-He commented on it, Z kept an eye on Yuu and Marika, he was not going to let them leave until it was all done, but now that Kuro’s energy was gone, they clearly had time to sort this out, he moved aside to let Martha speak with Yuu.
“I thought you could get it.” Martha wheeled on Z, tears in her eyes. “No… I can’t blame you for not understanding… I can only blame you.” She turned back to Yuu.
“I had to.” Yuu said, looking not at Martha, but at the ash that was once Cadence. “You know she wanted to kill Marika.”
“You’re smart and strong, and you could have saved her without killing Cadence!”
“I couldn’t. It wasn’t like that.”
“THEN YOU PICKED THE WRONG ONE TO SAVE!” Martha’s yell made Robin reel in pain and shook the room. “Z! Do it!”
The words were carried to Z as a soundwave. He was only a few feet away, so even to the heightened sense of the ones in the room, there was little time between Martha’s speaking and Z’s hearing. But Yuu had began her attack when Martha’s voice raised, and she was very, very fast when wreathed in fire. A burning kunai tore through her pocket, then another through Robin’s a second later, perfect shots that tore away just the barest minimum of cloth without overly harming their skin. The kaspa keys within were pierced and ignited before being struck against the wall, and they fell to the ground in half-melted pieces. In another moment, Yuu grabbed Marika and was gone, and it was that moment that Marika’s last word reached him.
Z turned away as he saw Yuu slip away, it was done, she had escaped and there was no way to go after her. He looked at Martha and Robin
“I’m afraid this is as far as we go, I have spent too much time unfruitfully in this endeavor. It is time for me to go.”
The Raian called for his ship, to something that could travel space, the defenses of the prison were not going to stop it. Z jumped out of the edge of the storm, not to be seen again.

Vladimir listened carefully to the condition Mr. Fukuma was... Trapped in another dimension, a concept Vladimir could barely grasp but that shouldn't be different than being trapped in one's mind... or the core of the very essence of living. He knew about that since it was something in the books the angels have left back in the Kingdom, ancient books that were destroyed two decades ago... But this was different, this was a dimension outside of the ones inside someone's self. So even if he attempted something with the Last Book then it would be meaningless...
The only thing they could do was to bring the body with them, whatever was going on at "the other side" with Mr. Fukuma, it was on him... So the only thing his students and the rest could do was wait and expect the man was alive. However that could be information the angel Lucille could decipher.
As he was thinking the best way he could help, Gen stood up and congratulated him - Oh it was nothing... a-and I won't deny I had quite... the experience healing bodies... quite often - He sighed as he remembered all the times his brothers, Fergus, Jeremy and Elatha ran towards danger and disasters as they grew up, of course Vladimir tagged along, but he always was the one that had to check on the others... He healed almost everyone more times than he could remember... except for Fergus, he was a troublemarker as well but a careful one...
As they walked, this time the one approaching him was the other Shishio sibling - Your welcome, I'm glad I was able to help - He said as he shaked hands with her - oh, I don't remember if I did it before... but just in case, I'm Vladimir Kearney, nice to meet you

“Wow, you actually remembered I was there this time.” Dan smirked at Gen. “You had best hope that is not incriminating.” Stephan said, fixing Dan with a cold gaze as he strode up to Callis. “Mr. Nomene, nobody reasonable could blame you for what happened here. Most of the damage was certainly done before we arrived. Your leadership has contained the damage so that a further investigation can sort out what happened here.” He put a hand on Callis’ shoulder and turned his head, taking in the sleeping Reiji Fukuma.
“What are we doing with him? And the rest of them, for that matter. We can’t let them remove him from the prison, can we?” Stephan asked. They had already broken so many rules to get here, and to let them get away with it disturbed him. He was ready to suggest they be arrested when a sound in the distance caught his attention. It sounded like… fireworks? He kept hearing the distant pops, and soon they were booms, cannon-loud. “Everybody down!” He yelled, but immediately the sound stopped, replaced by feet rapidly running on the floor.
Into the room burst Martha, Robin riding her piggyback. “We… ohhhh, that was a long way! I ran and we took off and then I ran again, I was scared you guys would leave without us!” Martha stretched, dropping Robin on the ground, letting her shuffle awkwardly. “We’re sealed out of the kaspa and Z… Z left.” Martha looked haunted, but not just by that. There was something she wasn’t saying. But Stephan didn’t get a chance to pry as Martha stuck her hands out to be cuffed and continued. “We don’t have any way off this prison and we don’t want to be with Yuu and Marika anymore. We surrender.”

It turned out it was all for nothing. Reiji wasn't even here, not really. His mind was wandering through a different plane of existence."Gee, thanks Gen." Arthur responded to the comparison of his healing to the paladin's. "Shame neither of use can do much for your teacher. Though, as long as you can help him, it's not that bad." He told Reiji's students. "But if we leave now... What'll happen with the prison? I can't imagine the JHWAB want to leave it in hostile hands." Not that it mattered to much. Arthur was here to help out a friend and he did that, as well as he could. It didn't end up being as fun as he'd hoped, but not all adventures can be winners.
Stephen certainly wasn't approving. "Hey now, we helped you guys out, didn't we? Even now, as the JHWAB representative is performing prisoner relocation, we're helping you out. We're basically acting as deputies now." Arthur grinned. He didn't think Stephan was amused, but considering the circumstances he was sure they could get away with only minor repercussions. The people who would have a tougher time of that though... They just rushed in to join them.
"Martha? Is everything okay?" Arthur asked, then glanced at Stephan. HWIC had dealt with dolls in a more positive way in Arthur's previous experience, but he didn't trust Stephan to care much about that or their circumstances. "Hm, maybe better leave it unsaid for now. I think you should stay quiet until we get you a good lawyer.

A strange sense of disappointment went through Haruko's face as she saw the state Reiji was in. Had they really come this far just to wind up with a man that couldn't be woken up? Regardless, it seemed like they were still going to take Reiji's body out of this place, and Callis was going to look the other way. Were Callis and Stephen going to get fired over this entire mess? Could they all be going to jail? Looking down at the ground, Haruko wondered if Aria would even care to try and get her out of prison if it came to that. Aria had effectively abandoned Haruko as a baby...but had tried to make strides to mend their relationship in recent years.
Seeing Martha and Robin approach them at terrifying speeds, Haruko walked over and tried to give Martha a reassuring smile. "You must have done something good if Marika had to kick you out of there. I'm glad you're turning yourselves in, because the HWIC can help." Haruko took out her rectangular smartphone from her pocket, scrolling through the pictures until she found one of a green-haired girl wearing a large black beret, posing for the camera. "I don't know if you know her, but that's my daughter Cosmina. She was a doll in your situation, but the HWIC managed to free her and a few others, so I adopted her. So I'm sure they could help you both get free of Marika too." She explained.
Putting her phone away, Haruko rolled her eyes at Arthur. "Well look at you, trying to be all responsible now, talking about lawyers." She joked. It was good he was taking this situation seriously, Haruko remembering a few times in the past where it wasn't the case. The journey finally seemed to be over

Callis softly squeezed Akane’s hand as he looked into her eyes. -Thank you for your support Akane, I…- But before he could continue he was interrupted by Stephan, who also wanted to calm Callis’ concerns. The Beast Knight couldn’t help but to smile upon seeing the support of his lover and his comrades in arms, an experience he rarely felt during his time in Centris. As Cadence and the other dolls approached, Callis turned away, realizing that once again he should just look the other way, for the common good, and decided to contact the JWHAB for a pick-up. -I will try to contact Norio so we can leave this place, I will talk with the bureau to assist Fukuma-dono. I will negotiate immunity for everyone who helped and deserves it.- With that said he walked out the hallway towards one of the planks he arrived alongside his team. He attempted to contact Norio, using his standard issue JHWAB communicator, a mixture of magic and technology.
Gen leaned against a wall, pondering what to do next, ignoring Dan, once again, as he thought about his next move. He knew Callis was a stand-up guy, but he didn’t know if he could trust the JHWAB, after all they were the ones that forced seclusion on Reiji. “I could hear what the fuckin’ cat dude has to say, but I don’t fuckin’ trust those bureau assholes” That was passing through his head when Ichigan approached him. -So… ya’re my son?- Gen looked at him and without losing a beat replied. -I don’t give a flyin’ fuck if ya’re my old man.- Ichigan was hurt for a second, then he got angry and finally he smiled. -That’s the same fuckin’ thin’ I said to my old man.- They shared a moment looking at each other, sizing each other up. Ichigan then leaned against the support as well. Goemon, still guarding Reiji’s body, couldn't avoid smiling, noticing the obvious similarities between father and son, even if half of Gen’s face made him look like his actual father as an action figure thrown into a Microwave.
Rin couldn’t avoid being a bit bashful when talking to Vladimir, his tiredness and world weariness was invisible to her as for the first time in her life she was crushing hard on somebody. Last time she felt anything close to this was when she started to develop feelings for her french teacher. Rin stumbled on her words as she tucked some of her hair behind her ears, realizing she must look like a mess after the long mission. -So Ms. Kearney, where are you from?- She asked, attempting to start a conversation, but… Vladimir, at this very moment would be most likely distracted. He felt something he hasn’t felt in years. Something he couldn’t believe was happening. Then a shout from Callis got his attention, as the Beast Knight perceived something far above them, clashing against the external barrier of Shirokumo.
-EVERYONE WE HAVE INCOMING!- He shouted as a flare up of deep cyan light exploded against the barrier far above them. The Beast Knight, as tired and wounded as he was, took a fighting stance, ready for anything. Ichigan and Gen also jumped into action, positioning themselves around Reiji, alongside Goemon, protecting their master. Rin was slower to the draw, still a bit mesmerized by Vladimir, but when she realized something was happening she drew her bow, aiming towards the radiant cyan light that was causing a powerful grinding sound as it clashed against the swirling winds of the barrier.

A-are you sure this is safe, messa Elatha? I’ve done my fair share of unsafe travel but this has to be the worst thus far - Nelle said as she held tight to the Driaochta
We need to cross that barrier!! So we need to go as fast as we can! - She said impulsing them with her arms who were entirely covered in flames, almost looking like a harpy with immense wings. She made sure Nelle was safe enough and before launching like a rocket against Shirokumo, she casted as spell to protect her.
As Ela forced her way into the prison, Nelle couldn’t help but wonder just what Callis Nomene was doing here? It certainly seemed like a dangerous eerie place to visit.
Breaking inside Nelle coughed as she looked around, there were a multitude of individuals in this place, some looked harmless, others quite dangerous. Her eyes widened at the sight of Callis.
Master?! -Nelle said in slight disbelief, he was changed, but not nearly enough to be unrecognizable, she wanted to run towards him and hug the beast warrior with all her strength, she only stopped herself after Akane stepped in to cover her lover
Do not take another step, identify yourselves! -Musashi demanded.
Ah class! That was a grand landing! - The Queen of Driaochtas said as she dissipated the fire in her arms, not even trying to hide her irish accent with the slangs and informalities - Well lads! - She said as she began to walk towards the group - We lookin' for two lovely folks nothin’ else
In that second Vladimir was there, he couldn’t speak nor react, he was entirely pale as if he saw a ghost, literally, he was looking at one. He was processing the fact that the love of his life was back to life, standing on her two feets, talking like she always used to do. The last time he saw her, she was dying on his arms with a sword piercing through her chest.
Not looking, I found him, Messa Elatha! it 's him! - Nelle pointed at Callis, she lifted her hands at shoulder height and spoke to Akane
I assure you we mean no harm, please allow me to introduce myself - She said as she did the standard centris salute, Akane was immediately confused, it was the same exact thing Callis had done when she met him
Dynastes Ensis Polaris, Nelle Auriga at your service
Lass you got a long name, don’t ya? - Elatha said as she listened too, quite impressed as well - I guess, my turn right?
The Queen was about to introduce herself, of course, even before that some may already have caught an idea of who she was… considering the looks, it wasn’t going to be so strange for some fellas to be reminded of a certain prince. However, the paladin excused himself and went ahead, almost standing next to Elatha… his face was the embodiment of fear, he looked like a murderer who got caught slaughtering its victim. He was shaking.
I… I… I introduce to you Elatha Van Dercycle, the Queen of Driaochtas… from the Blasket island of Ireland - He said way more nervous and anxious than he already was, his hand was shaking non stop and his eyes were at the verge of crying.
Elatha took a tiny bit of time to recognize the man that knew her identity, he was tall… a slightly tanned skin tone with brown hair, the voice was quite different… a bit raspy. She glanced over to properly see the man's face, she recognized those blue eyes, then all made sense to her, but she couldn't believed. The hair wasn't that bad but he was in poor shape! What happened to him?! He truly wasn't healthy at all!!
WHAT THA- TULIP YA’ FACE AND AND - She couldn’t get it… the handsome man that could lift her with a single arm was so fricking thin right now! And he locked hella sad and tired and-! - What on Maponos’s name happened to ya’!?!? Do you even sleep or eat!?
I... - Vladimir felt getting red in a second, he was still processing the fact that Elatha was alive - Let me… think! Please, I… I cannot believe you’re alive… I ah… just…
Elatha sighed, still looking at him - Life didn’t treat you well even after leaving the Kingdom, aye? - The other just nodded. Right now it wasn’t the time to talk about the past and catch up. They had to save their son from the fucking angel that turned upside down the whole Kingdom and did such horrible things
Listen, we gotta go… we have to save Derek, he ain't gonna last that long before fucking Fergus devours his heart, got it? We need to save him...

“We can talk about whose jurisdiction you are under when we get off this prison. I know your circumstances well, and I will vouch for you if the JHWAB does end up taking you in.” Stephan offered Martha and Robin before backing off. “If anybody needs me, I’m going to try to report in.” He followed Callis, hoping he could get a signal outside. Robin didn’t look thrilled, but Martha seemed relieved, and more so when Haruko approached her. “There were more of us in the past? Haven was right!” She jumped with excitement. “Thank you, both of you! I… needed a friend. Cadence… she’s dead.” She sniffled, trying to prevent tears, but she was incapable, and soon the room filled with bawling.
Dan breathed a sigh of relief when Callis said he would vouch for them. He took Callis at his word, and the man had sway in the JHWAB. His other sigh came when Gen ignored him once more. That wasn’t relief. “Whatever.” He muttered. He leaned against the wall for a moment, watching Gen talk to his father. What was it like, discovering the parent who raised you was not your real parent? 20 years ago, Dan would have wanted nothing more. Now, it was all too distant to matter. Let Gen figure out what it meant to himself. Dan would focus on his real relationships.
He turned to Haruko and Arthur. “Hey guys. I caused you a lot of trouble coming along today. I’m really sorry, and I want to know if there’s anything I can do to make it up to you. I don’t want this to be a sore spot for us.” When Callis’ shout came, he swore under his breath. “Hold on a second, we can discuss after-” The figure broke in and there was no end to the confusion. “...never mind, keep to the current topic.” He said when he realized this had nothing to do with him.

"Heeeey, I'm always trying to be responsible! I'm just stupid and bad at it sometimes. Usually. Most of the time." Arthur corrected Haruko. He was surprised to hear Martha didn't know about Cosmina and Marceline. He was less surprised when he thought about it. Marika didn't seem like the type of individual who'd talk about failures that ran away. Wouldn't want to give them ideas. He was even more surprised to hear one of them died just now. "Oh, shit..." She didn't seem like the most pleasant person to be around, but Arthur didn't think that meant she deserved to die. Especially not when it seemed to hurt Martha so much.
He pulled her into a hug. "I'm sorry," he said. Dan joined them soon, apologizing for causing them all trouble. He was really bad at picking the right moment apparently, but Arthur broke off the hug anyway. "Hey, don't worry about. You helped out a bunch, and you got powers again. All's-" Well that ends well, he was gonna say, but then he looked at Martha. Not the best choice of words. "-forgiven," he finished. And then Came Callis's shout. "Fuck, what now?" It turned out to be nothing. Nothing particularly dangerous at least. Vlad and Callis's long lost acquaintances apparently showed up. Arthur wondered how the two of them managed to get here when both Callis's and Gen's team had to do a lot of preparation. Well, maybe that meant the teams could also leave more easily with their help. That would be nice.
Regardless, Dan didn't think it warranted a change of topic. "Heh." Arthur did find his nonchalant attitude about it funny. He put a comforting hand on Martha's shoulder. "As I said, I do stupid stuff all the time so I can't hold it against you. And if you, and you," he looked at Martha, "and the rest of your family need my help in any way, no matter with what, I'll do my best. And you know that goes for you, too, miss Always Responsible."

Akane smiled when she heard about Cadence's demise, it was a brief feeling of joy that quickly turned disturbing even to her. what was she happy about? why couldn't she just feel neutral about it? she took a hand to her face in attempt to hide her expression, but a twisted feeling of joy was still there.
After Nelle announced herself, Akane sheathed her blade and cleared the way. whatever business she had with Callis, it was none of hers. As for Z, it was truly a second chance, JHWAB captured him once, next time, it would be the Musashi.
