As he continues his humming, he finally spots the rest of the party. "Interesting." he said in an excited tone as he sees Eve holding Velvela up by her neck. He begins to operate his threads, while at the same time the smile on his face widens as she begins to threat her, but quickly is ruin when Eve release her and hugs her instead. Alex slowly sighs to himself as he puts away his wire threads back into their containers. Suddenly the beast appear and the twisted light in Alex's eye begin to twinkle once more. He unleashes his wire threads slowly around himself and the general area, while also starts thinking over a plan to use against this new beast.

A flash of light passed besides Garo, the Old Archer too focused on the scene in front of him, his bow still drawn, too realize the incoming doom. He failed to smell the ozone in the wind or hear the crackle of electricity in the air. –Damn it all to Hell!- Garo shouted as Eve’s head was torn apart from her body by Byakko’s powerful claws. The Veteran Hunter didn’t doubt for a second and started shooting at the creature as fast as his skilled hands could, shooting half his quiver (at least 15 arrows) in less than five seconds. As this happened Velvela looked at the fangs of Byakko in reverent silence, too shocked to even think of moving.
Falken, just entering the scene roared in anger, something weird considering he wasn’t the one affected by this, and attacked with the Inui Laser Cannon at 50% charge, enough to blast a car apart, as he shouted. –GET DOWN GEDIDE!- And Velvela finally reacted, automatically to the order, rolling away from the monster with perfect agility and coordination, moving the closest cover, a low wall that came out from one of the buildings. As she moved Falken shot releasing a stream of energy destined to fuck up Byakko, at least of the Cyborg’s mind.

Eve's body was beginning to pull itself off its feet when Falken yelled his warning. Instantly, it dropped flat again. With a tornado's roar, the blast soared over her head just as Byakku turned to see what was yelling. With a searing crack, the blast struck home and with a noise greater than any of the great beast's thunder, half of its head was anihilated like a firebomb had gone off behind its eye. The beast reared and howled, half its face caved in and flaming. Pieces of skull landed across the mud, a smouldering fang dropping right next to Eve's prone, now smouldering, form.
Eve's mind cast about wildly. Her body separated like this, pain in so many ways, nothing was in focus. It would make her throw up if she had her stomach and lacked control over it. How the hell had they beat the other one? This bastard just healed everything they did! How did they... her eyes focused on the fang lying by her body, glistening and black, like some horrific knife. With gut wrenching concentration, she got her arm to grab for it. Her fingers scrabbled, dropped their steel cores, and stretched. Around the fang they wrapped, but she couldn't stand. The only person she could see was Alex. All she could do was to throw it and hope he got it. One arm steadied her body, the other wound back and hurled it to impale the ground just behind him. She froze her body in a position pointing at where she was decently sure the monster was now until it swept a paw back into her field of vision to smash her body into the lake. Eve felt a horror sink into her steel bones as her body sank away. Come on, prettyboy- don't study it!

Alex studies the situation in a halcyon fashion as he tries to figure out the best method to utilize against the tempestuous beast. Though he was semi-captivated by the creature's amazing healing capabilities, he knew that the moment didn't call for his typical obsessive observation to all things intriguing to his disproportional and kooky eyes. Instead his sight focus on the glistening black fang of the lighting Deity. At once he knew exactly what must be done. He focuses all his wire threads to quickly warp around the fang and transform into his wire thread Javelin, expect this time the tip was replace with the sharp edge of the fang. Oddly enough, Alex had a feeling that out of every single wire thread spear he had made up this day, this one was by much sharper than any other.
He grasps the handle and the spear and with a single motion he throws the spear right at the beast. It cuts through the air with such grace that air resistance did not even existence for this masterpiece of a weapon. Yet, even then it was not due to the addition of the fang alone to explain this phenomenon alone, though it was the main factor behind the intense danger that this weapon can deal to its target. This time Alex had evolve the structure of the wire thread spear to be still connected to wire threads attach to his wire thread glove. This allowed for two important new advances in the technique. First, that the wire thread could be use to steer the Javelin a bit in order to change the angle of the spear to shift towards the target should it move out of the way of the original path of the spear. Secondly, and more impressively the madman thought, was that the extra wire threads attach allow to create even more spiral force behind the piercing potential of the weapon. Increasing both the sharpness and overall damage that the tip of the spear can deliver many times over.

Garo, Falken and Velvela saw the javelin moving towards Byakko and had a sudden moment of inspiration, their honed combat instincts allowed them to perceive this as the momentous occasion it was, maybe the turning point of the battle. Yet each of them reacted differently according to their own skill, thankfully they managed to collaborate. Velvela used her remaining rifle to cover one of Byakko’s sides with a rain of suppressing fire, hoping mostly to block the creature’s path rather than hurt it. Garo who was on the opposite side shot 10 arrows in record time, aimed as well to distract and block the creature while in-between those he shot 4 more aimed to pierce the creatures paws into the ground.
Finally Falken, who could never avoid being flashy, dashed to the side still not covered by the others, said side being opposite of the direction of the Javelin, by powersliding in the mud under Garo’s arrows, getting knicked by one, and shifting the Inui Laser Cannon into Scatter Shot mode, launching shotgun-like blasts of plasma hoping to further restrain and confuse the creature so Alex’s gambit would work. –GET SOME YOU BLOODY THUNDERPUSSY!- Shouted the Mercenary as he spun on the muddy ground shooting from unconceivable positions as he did. Velvela added a Directional Hand Grenade (Inazuma Gakuen Product, set to explode and launch the shockwave and fragments to a fixed position in this case down) over the Byakko, while Garo, hoping his arrow hit their mark activated “Tetsu” on them.
None of these attacks were lethal, but all of them would help to contain the Tiger so the Tiger Claw Wire Javelin hit its mark.

Byakku's roar was still fearsome with only half a head. It hissed like a monstrous cobra and spun towards Velvela when her bullets bruised its side, only to feel Garo's arrows piercing its hindquarters. Its massive paw shook the earth when it smashed down in the space Falken had been just a moment before. It roared in a rain of plasma and shrapnel, frustration becoming desperation. The storm clouds grew dark and bright at once at it prepared to carpet bomb the area even if it destroyed its body in the process. He reared and let loose one last, mighty roar that was cut short as the javelin went straight through its throat.
Byakku fell clumsily forward, slipping in the mud so any fur still free of blood and ash was now slicked brown. Lightening infused blood burst free in a splatter that struck everyone surrounding it and delivered a charge that was at once agonizing and energizing. It staggered and slid down the hill towards the lake, drawing increasingly ragged breaths, lightening arcing from every wound. It tumbled the last few feet and splashed down in the lake, and its body became an eruption of electricity upon contact with the water. It floated out and its body was lost to steam and sparks, and when they cleared, it was nowhere to be seen. The javelin stood impaled halfway through a tree. A new quarter circle of white clouds and blue lightening rested on everybody's hand. And the only cloud to be seen was the red one spreading through the lake.

The creature's roar was music to his ears and an amazing theme song for the spectacular lighting show, which steals Alex's entire being. He carelessly remain motionless as lighting roams all around his body. Yet, luck was on the crazy man's side as the lighting bolts avoid him, though he had only inches to spare. The spear had worked better than he could every hope, but even then it was nothing compare to this moment. Alex walks slowly to caught the final explosion at the lake and was render in utter awe upon the sight. He didn't even notice the new part of the circle being completed on his hand as he continues to appreciate what he just witness.

Garo fell on one knee too tired to stand, the burst of speed had completely depleted his ki reserves and he felt his sight blurry and his mind hazy. The Veteran Archer was breathing heavily, try to get his breath back. –So is the damn thing down? I don’t think I can go another round…- He explained as he kept panting. Falken walked towards Garo, with the Inui Cannon on hand, and after standing besides the Old Archer he snorted and then laughed. –Classic old man, you can’t get up after this… You make me laugh every time.- Garo didn’t reply, he just tripped the Mercenary with his bow behind Falken’s knees.
The Infamous Mercenary fell flat on his ass and the sound of cables being ripped apart. The Inui Cannon was connected directly to Falken’s core, he had to do it because the weapon didn’t have any charge and he couldn’t change it because he was in the Anti-EMP mode. –Bloody wanker! Why did you trip me!- It was Garo’s turn to laugh as he stood up with clear difficulty. –I think you’re the one who can’t get up Degiraz, so now shut up and don’t talk to me unless you want an arrow to in that red eye of yours.- With some effort Garo walked away until he found somewhere to sit.
Velvela was still a bit shaken by everything that happened today. The world is a very large place… she really needed more training if she wanted to survive it.

Eve tried to cheer for her wonderful team and perfect strategy, but found her noise lacking without any lungs or vocal chords. Right, still a head. She used her ponytail to roll herself over to Falken, ending up right in front of his face. She nudged his face with hers and pointed down to the lake with her hair. "eep! eep!" She made the most forceful noise she could and instantly regretted it. As if getting decapitated and having her body fall in the lake wasn't humiliating enough, now she sounded like a baby bird! She really needed her body back before she was forced to bite Falken to death.

Alex eventually looks down to spot the new mark on his hand. I suppose that this means we finish our task here, he thought. We won the battle, but what about the war? He looks up towards the sky, then closes his eye lids shut very gently as he recalls the vision the beast had given him. What exactly is going to happen? Was the vision a sign of what would happen at the end of this mission to find the scared beasts? Or perhaps the vision was pointing to something else, something behind what they could possibly imagine. He needed to find the answers, but where should he go to find them? He had no idea, yet he couldn't help but to smile.

-I get it… I bloody get it… I’ll get your body…- Falken smiled as he finally was able to de-activate the limiting Anti-EMP mode and he could access his full range of skills again. He dispelled the Inui Cannon and brought the Yuki Modular Weapon forth. It was a gauntlet light attachment that had several useful tools, this time around he set in on Magnetic Grappling Hook and started fishing around the location of Eve’s body, something he could guess thanks to his enhanced senses. After a couple of unsuccessful tries he managed at last to catch Eve’s battered body and dragged it back to her head. –Here you go, I hope it isn’t too wet… that’s a job I will take care of later.- His smile was half charming and half creepy.
Garo took his jacket off and placed it over Velvela’s shoulders. –You alright there Gedide?- Velvela nodded weakly as she closed up the jacket over her shoulders. She was too tired to care as she ended up dozing off against the wall. Garo shook his head and thought to himself that he really needed to punch Falken in the face for bringing a student into such dangerous mission, but at the last moment he remembered he wasn’t a teacher anymore. The real reason he left Inazuma wasn’t because he was bored or anything like that, but because of legal reasons. His son enrolled to the school and his mother (Garo’s Ex-Wife) pressured Garo to leave.

Eve smiled with glee and rolled onto her body, little tendrils flicking between her body parts and pulling her head back onto her shoulders. She stretched and stood, shuddering with the cold. "I just need a little warmth... thanks for getting it though, Falken." She gave him a wet hug and bundled him into her coat. She noticed the half circle on her hand and chuckled at the new power. A good jolt of electricity would make those with this mark faster and stronger- but it would still hurt them just as much as usually. She raised her hand and explained it to the others. "I did my research, and it's immortal. But with that blow, it could take centuries to recover. Great work everybody."
She smiled her broadest smile and stumbled forward to hug Alex and Garo. She didn't even care how soaked she got them. "You're all awesome." She dumped Falken out of her coat and turned to kiss Velvela on the forehead. "That includes you."

Alex didn't care too much for the Eve's bear hug, but he was sad to hear that it would take hundreds of years before the creature could return. Sadly, he probably won't even be able to live for a other 10 years at best due to his accelerated age. Yet before his death, there was only one mission he needed to complete. Thinking about his true mission, once more recalls the vision he was given by the scared beast. He tries to consider the possibility that the demon he chases will have anything to do with what he saw, but for some unknown reason he couldn't imagine that being the case. He looks around his companion and decides to mention his vision to everyone. After he finishes explaining the details, he waits patiently to hear what the others have to say about his vision.

Garo smiled, at the least the job was done, but he had seen a dark side of his employer, something he never liked seeing. Still Eve didn’t hurt Velvela so for this time he would ignore, as he still needed the job. He helped Velvela up, who was still a bit shocked by the whole situation. The Old Hunter looked at Eve. –I’m going to take her back to Inazuma and then go back to the office.- The Super Soldier Student, still silent as a grave, leaned on the shoulder Garo was offering and walked away, her legs still shaking. She had a rough first experience against the real Hidden World, one she might never recover from.
Falken stretched as he threw the Yuki Modular Weapon back to his Hyper Space Arsenal. –So, we are done here? I need to take care of some stuff back home.- He started walking away and turned his head as he did. –Call me Harper, let’s have lunch or something, come to my place, I think the latest brew is almost done…- Falken waved his hand without fully turning back and he vanished between the trees

Eve was briefly bewildered. "What? Everybody's going?" She looked with disappointment at retreating backs. "Alright Falken. Call you later." She looked at her only remaining companion and shrugged. "I have no idea what your vision means, Alex. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I bet Byakku was just trying to scare you off. Now come on, villagers. Go. Scoot." She took Alex's arm and drug him towards the village.

He offers only a sly smile as the others leave. Then he follows Eve into the village and looks around as he tries to figure out his next step. Either way, he plans to leave soon and head back to his living quarters. He once more looks down on his mark and his resolve to see the mark finish increases. Regardless, after staring at the last villagers comeback, he offers his Eve a quick goodbye, "I hope we can work together again Eve. Take care of yourself." He turns and walks away.

Eve balked at another comrade leaving her on a moment's notice without so much as a conversation, just a goodbye. "...Yeah, see ya." She waited for him to be out of eye and earshot to collapse to her knees in the mud. The puddle beneath her face contained not her face but Ariana's smile turning into a tortured, betrayed look of horror. She growled and brought her fist down into the puddle, causing an explosion of mud. This was the weakness that caused her to fail. Giving her that teleport scroll- what the fuck was she thinking!?
She couldn't stay here a moment longer. Still freezing, coated in mud, she stumbled to her feet and opened the internet in the phone in her head. She staggered away from the village, limbs stiff with the cold. She would complete the circle, whatever it took. "Genbu... you're next." Power. Yes. That's what would make her feel better. She was grinning when she reached the woods, and some keen eared villagers could swear they heard laughter.
