-I say we shot him with everything we got while Quasimodo grabs him.- Falken smiled cockily as he presented his strategy, he was confident that he could pull it off no problem.
Garo sighed. –That’s your problem, too much firepower tends to dull the mind.- The Old Archer turned to Eve. –We need to limit the enemy movements, find weak points and then attack.- He made a pause while rubbing his chin in deep thought. – If he controls storms we need to lure it to a battleground that limits that skill…-
Garo looked around. –I’m not familiar with this location, is there a factory, or any tall building, that would serve as a lightning Rod? Even a cellphone antenna would suffice.- The Old Hunter wisely followed one of the oldest tactical rules in the manual, choose your battles carefully, choose your battlefields smartly. Falken leaned in a wall and said to that. –Meh, my idea is simpler so it’s bloody easier…. What will we do if there is no place like you ask for old man…-
Velvela even as grossed out as she was by Alex had enough alertness for both of them and noticed Warden and Ariana. She was too scared to talk to the Grotesque Hunter who kept starring at her, instead she doubled her pace and went towards the inn door, gently knocking on it before entering. She didn’t prepare any weapons as she believed they were locals, not to mention Ariana was involved as Velvela always had a soft spot for children.
The Super Soldier Student made a gesture to Alex to stop on his tracks, surely the poor little girl didn’t need to see Alexander’s face.

Eve rolled her eyes at Falken. "Garo's right. There's a cell tower up the road a little. I still want to address the townspeople of course." She gave Garo a smile and tossed her head at Falken. "Thanks Garo. Falken, I'd hate to loose you to a lack of critical thought. Work on your tactics." She looked around and realized it'd be slow going with people being gathered at the rate Alex would do it. "We'll need to go find it or lure it to the spot we want to confront it at, but I want everybody on the same page before we go. Let's help Alex and Velvela with getting the people rounded up."
___
Ariana's whimpers were degenerating into sobs when somebody knocked at the door. He had no intentions of answering. He pulled Ariana off the ground and managed to scoop her into his arms in a bridal carry. It was harder with her growing so fast. Before he could bring her to their room, the innkeeper opened the door. "Hello? Do you want a room?"

Alex carefully keeps his distance away from the door, but he could still spot through the open doorway Warden and Ariana if he had bothered to look at their direction. One of Alex's biggest strengths , yet major flaws as a hunter, was the fact that when something peaks his interest, he will never bother to look away for a long long time. He took great pleasure in studying and analyzing people or things that catches his misshaped eyes. Unless something dangerous or more interesting would pop up, then would his focus shift to the new target of attention, but until them he will continue to stare and wait. Looking at Velvela, he could sense that her behavior towards him was that of a cautious creature and the thought places a smile on his face. It was good that she was careful, for it is usually the ones that are too hasty that end up dying young from his experience.

-I don’t do evacuations, I sent my intern to do them for me. - Falken smiled smugly as he sat on a wooden fence under a small room. He extended his hand opening a portal to his secondary Arsenal, the one he used for mundane storage. He took a pack of smokes and a pack of rations, similar to the ones he used in the last Hunt. Not many people knew this, but Falken lacked the capacity to taste. Whoever built his original upgrades didn’t consider sense of taste something important to make a killer cyborg.
He even took the bother to fake enjoying the food as he munched it down. Garo shook his head in disappointment and nodded to Eve’s request, moving to the nearest building to check if there was somebody there. He had a lot of practice as a JHWAB agent to invent excuses and get people evacuated, and thanks to the storm, he had the perfect one, flood warning. He knocked at doors waiting for reply, if they did he informed them that there was a very high possibility of flood and that they should evacuate.
Velvela looked at the innkeeper and made her best effort to remember Chinese from her classes in Inazuma. They usually taught languages of great martial civilizations. –Sorry, but you need to evacuate, a great disaster is coming towards this town, it will destroy us all if we don’t leave as soon as you can. Women and children first…- No matter how much Falken tried to indoctrinate her, or mocked her, the Super Soldier Student wasn’t going to allow her amoral mentor lessons destroy her morals or desires.
She was a soldier who wanted to fight for peace… quite strange, but fitting considering that since her childhood she lived in a constant warzone.

The inkeeper blinked in surprise that a foreign girl was delivering this message, but given the current circumstances, he could believe the warning. "Allow me to gather my family and guests." He bowed and walked away, passing Warden and Ariana. Warden glanced at him and tugged Ariana's arm. "Come on. We'd better go as well." His offspring was giving him a chance to leave. He would take it. Ariana pulled her damp face away from Warden's chest to see the strangely militaristic older girl. "Oh... okay." She sniffled and wiped her nose. As she followed Warden out, she gave the older girl a long look. She was way more interesting than the creepy old guy.
With the fatigues, guns, and fit look, she smelled of adventure. Ariana's sorrow at loosing her sister grew into excitement. What was happening? Her stare continued as Warden drug her outside. But she still saw her sister as they passed. Up close, there was no mistake. It was Eve. But she couldn't read Eve's eyes. Did she even recognize Ariana?
___
Eve acted as a traffic cop, directing the exiting villagers and tourists. "Take the first fork west and get to high ground. It should be safe to return when the storm stops." She gave Falken occasional glares. Lazy ass. She took back what she said about sex here. Maybe she'd try and screw Alex just to make Falken jealous. Her thoughts of revenge on Falken slipped when she saw the last thing she expected. Her father and sister of all things. Her sweet little sister... and the father who would destroy them all. "Falken." She turned to him, waving on the next few emigrants. "How much do you trust me?" She knelt in front of him and put a hand on his shoulder.

Alex didn't really notice Ariana and Warden emerge from the inn as he was going to continue his efforts of studying only Velvela's actions, yet he suddenly picked up something that slightly bothered him. Whatever it was some type of six sense or dumb luck, his eyes move away from one young teenage girl to an even younger girl. He glances at the father tugging away the girl as the girl's eyes hunger for something... Still, the duo didn't keep his attention for long and soon enough he goes back to watching Falken's trainee for a bit longer with an air of silence to him. The only sound that was produce by the strange looking man was the sound of the heavy rain hitting his body and even that was deadly quite. Bringing his right hand up slowly to pull down his hat a bit, he begins to recall a past memory where the weather was just as bad as the current conditions during one of his first concerts as a child.
A Past Perfomance:
It was a time before the nightmare began for Alexander. A time when he still a child, who only knew and mastered a few instruments, with one of the first being piano. He was a child prodigy that his musical family was always proud of and had such high hopes for. For him however, it was never so much how excellent he was with performances as oppose to the joy and sense of fulfillment he would receive when playing and creating music. As he plays for his audience of a few hundred observers, he would ignore the spectators watching and instead focus only the sound of the piano. By the time he finish the last note, he was being praise with a standing ovation.
Yet he didn't listen at all to the people around him and instead he images hearing the sound of that last note over and over again. After a while when the folk stop their claps of approval did they begin to start to move away from awe to worry for the young pianist was still in sitting down. They were confuse as to why the boy didn't stand up and bow. Soon whispers were born among them and grew into conversations that fill the room. The boy's father went on stage and offer a hand to his son with a proud smile on his warm face. Taking his father's gentle hand, a little Alex walks away with a faint smile on his lips. Though he wished he could continue to make more beautiful notes, he knew he already completed the task he wish to accomplish that evening.
Current:
Alexs studies the people as follow Eve's instructions and guidance. Then suddenly Eve interacts with Falken in a way that was different from her typical playful manner and she had a much more serious demeanor about her body language. Cautiously moving his body to face Eve's position, he begins to move his hands down and prepare for the worse to happen. Looking past his shoulder, he looks towards his partner to see how she was doing before turning back and trying to figure out Eve's next move.

-You want me to be bloody honest?- Asked Falken with a hint, just a hint, of being flustered by Eve’s sudden question.- The Falcon-Eye Assassin looked deep into the Huntress eyes and couldn’t resist it. –Ok.- He stood up and grabbed her shoulders, forming what seemed a two people football huddle. –I trust you more than I trust myself.- He returned the look at her with utmost intensity.
Garo shook his head at the display of sentiment. –This isn’t the time for googly eyes Harper, we need to evacuate the village and I can’t do it on my own… my Chinese is much rustier that what I thought.- The Old Archer sighed disappointed at himself. – Is the desk job, never should have taken it… There were days I wanted to burn that school to the ground and plant a nice hunting forest instead.-
He spoke high enough so Velvela, who was helping people, was able to hear him, but she didn’t reply. The Super Soldier Student was more concerned with something she was feeling, as her keen instincts, one of the main reasons she got her nickname, were blaring up, something was up in the inn, something or somebody truly fearful. She could feel it creeping on the back of her neck. She scanned around looking for anything suspicious.
Finally she noticed it, a little girl looking towards Eve, the hirer, with strange eyes. In a normal circumstance it would be obvious to focus on the 8 ft tall amazon-like woman, but something on her gut tell Velvela there was something else in play here. She walked towards Warden and Ariana and crouched to be at Ariana’s height.
-Hello little girl, don’t worry, everything is going to be okay.- Taking in account Ariana’s apparent ethnicity (another warning factor) Velvela spoke in English with a big warm smile on her face, just like she did back in the day on Jerusalem’s streets.

Eve sighed deeply. Well, here's hoping he was telling the truth. "Then I need you to do something for me. And you can't ask any questions, because I can't answer any. That little Hispanic girl with her father there- you see her?" She whispered in Falken's ear to make sure the others didn't overhear, discretely pointing at her sister. "You need to separate them from the others and your apprentice. Far enough that you won't cause any civilian casualties. And you need to kill her." She went from solemn stare to playful grin, giving him a quick peck on the cheek before putting a hand on his chest to gently push him away.
She hopped back over to Garo, face indistinguishable from any other grin she sported all day. "Sorry about that, Garo. I just needed to get him off his ass and actually doing something." She glanced around. It was very small village, and there shouldn't be much more. "Come on, we'll have this place cleaned out in five minutes. You too, Alex." She reached out and brushed their shoulders, steering them back into the village.
---
Ariana was surprised when the military girl suddenly walked over to her. She was a little amused by how little she had to crouch to see her eye to eye. Ariana was growing again. She blinked at the older girl's words. "Of course. Is there any reason it wouldn't be?" She smiled but also blushed a little. What was with this sudden attention anyway? She guessed it was her puffy eyes and red nose from crying. She was hoping the rain would hide that. Warden tugged on her hand.
"Come on. You heard your sister, we need to move." Warden let the information slip on purpose to give this prying individual something to think upon while he left. Ariana stumbled as she was tugged, but recovered to wave at Velvela. "Bye! Please tell Eve to-" Warden whipped her off of her feet and shoved something in her mouth, forcing her silence. By the time she managed to choke out words, all Velvela could catch was a little "-and you can come too!"

Alex didn't appreciate not knowing what Eve told Falken, but he figures it was most likely not just some playful exchanges between the two, or maybe it was.... He was never really good at figuring out the principle of flirting. Regardless, he figures Eve is someone who he could somewhat trust, so he doesn't bother to question her and find out any information. Following her lead, he continues to walk into the village to try to convince villagers to leave before they become obstacles and victims in the upcoming battle.
Sadly, Alex idea of communicating with people involve staring at then for long periods of time in awkward silence, which would make this whole process much slower if it was not for the others. On his own, he still has not been able to inform one person to leave their home yet and at the rate he was continuing to go at, he will most likely end up not being able to get one person to leave. He might not even say a single word to anyone outside his fellow hunters if he doesn't change his approach at this point.

-Killing a child? - Falken spoke with a strange tone. But quickly smirked. –I’ve done bloody worse before, so why not?- The Infamous Mercenary stood up just as Velvela shouted. –Mr. Degiraz, I think this girl knows Ms. Harper.- The Super Soldier Student’s senses were extremely sharp and as much as Ariana tried to mislead her, Velvela clearly heard the young girl. Falken smiled at his intern, his right eye shining as he walked towards her and both of his hands entering portals, summoning the parts of the Tendo Variable Weapon.
-Little girl, go help the old fart, I’ll deal with this.- He configured the weapon into blaster pistol mode and shoot Ariana, a perfectly aimed laser shot directed to her forehead with pinpoint accuracy. Velvela intercepted the attack with one of his weapons and shouted. –What the hell do you think you’re doing!?- Finally she snapped, she could take insults by she wouldn’t be part of infanticide. Falken shot three more times without talking and Velvela used her skills and enhanced reflexes (Using a bit of Ki to help) and kept blocking the shots with an increasingly damaged SMG.
-I asked you a question!- She shouted as she pulled a Desert Eagle, modified with armor piercing rounds. The Infamous Mercenary mimicked her position but with the Tendo Variable Weapon: Blaster Mode. He spoke with a cold voice. –I told you, whatever the hirer says goes and Harper asked me to off that little girl…- His eyes grew even colder than his tone. –Get out of my way or I will shoot you girl, before I kill her…-
Garo was unluckily too far away to notice this Mexican stand-off between Mentor and Student.

Away from the conflict, Eve got what seemed to be the last cooperative household empty. "Alright Garo. Anybody left just refused to leave, so it's their problem if there's a flood." Falken should have separated Ariana and Warden from the others by now. She'd call him up when they got to the cell tower. Hopefully Warden didn't tear him apart. "So, current plan. When we get to the tower, I want Alexander to start trapping the surrounding trees and whatever else he can get at. When Falken gets back, keep him around to help you. I'll go out looking for Byaku to lure him back with Garo. I'll have Velvela stick with Alex at the tower. Any complaints?"
___
The laser may never have struck home on Ariana, but the eyes on the back of Warden's head, hidden in hair, saw everything. The blasts lit up like flares on their thermal vision. His arm twisted to put Ariana behind his body as he spun to face the threat. He saw that the girl who had spoken with Ariana was defending them, blocking shots from Falken. She couldn't do it forever. It appeared Warden had to be proactive here.
Ignoring Ariana's protests, he built a hard shell over her, leaving a spongy part over her mouth and nose so as not to suffocate her. In an instant, the rest of his body followed suit in changing. His throat grew a sack that filled with acid, his mouth became a harsh sucker with a needle for a tongue, and his limbs stretched as he fell into a shambling lope. He scrambled on all fours to interrupt Falken and Velvela's showdown. A lengthened arm darted down to pull Falken to his mouth, where his barbed tongue waited to stab into him and dissolve his innards.

Now that the business with removing all the citizens was finish, his mind was almost completely focus on his recent designs and techniques that he has been dying to try since Eve first made the suggestion to use one of his many gruesome specialities for this assignment. Alex didn't say anything about the plan, since he was way too eager for the part where he was going lay out his traps, though he plans to take his sweet time when it comes to actually setting the traps up. He takes great pleasure with the whole process of trap making and that along with his already obvious habit of functioning at an incredible slow rate for the majority of his actions will cause the endeavor to cost a good amount of minutes, maybe even hours if his teammates choose not to encourage him to operate quicker.
Still, even outside his urge to try out his new ideas, Alex found no fault in Eve's plan overall. It sounds both simple and effective. Plus the tower was the perfect spot to increase his field of vision, along with providing him the perfect station to link all his traps to in one place. There was really no other buildings or location he could have ask for that would be a better spot then the tower. Yet, when fighting against a deity, one could never afford to become overconfident just because of some decent plans and strategic locations in place. Even together they were barely enough to handle the last scared beast they had faced and there were plenty of fortunate factors that assisted them last time. Alex couldn't help but thinking that this whole thing was a suicide mission, but if they did the impossible once before, then perhaps they can do it again.

-That seems like a sound plan, but I’ll scout ahead towards the cell-phone tower, I don’t see any reason staying here, even less staying to help that trigger happy idiot. - The Old Archer sighed. –Did you really need to bring him? We are lucky none of his fancy weapons exploded in our faces last time…- Garo was truly disgusted with Falken ideology and methodology. –The only thing he is good for is bait, being so loud and showy…- The Grey Hunter spitted in the ground. –He isn’t a Hunter… he is a Clown with more firepower than he can handle. That’s my final word on this matter. -
After speaking his mind Garo left to find a good vantage point to snipe Byakko nearby the tower, as well to plant some arrows around their chosen battlefield if he needed to relocate during the fight, or lost his quiver during it. He needed to be careful, as a badly placed arrow could disrupt Byakko’s lighting attacks in a negative way, as the arrow could serve as an escape path for the lighting, and if the particles of metal from the tip or shaft were still mid-air then it could follow him… he should also inform Alexander of this possibility, as the wires might conduct lighting.
Velvela’s instincts forced her to jump with a very efficient and stark side roll, taking cover behind a crate. This happened the instant she felt the change in wind pressure coming from behind her, Warden’s tentacle mimicking the feeling she got from being shot, but the feeling was a bit rougher, thus instead of a simple dodge his body went on full defensive move. She looked in awe the nightmarish creature in front of her, but that was almost topped by Falken, who ignored the sudden change of form and reacted with a change of form of his own.
The Tendo Variable Weapon turned into its axe mode, the strongest in melee combat from the versatile weapon options and deflected the tentacle with a strike, if it was weaker than reinforced steel then it would get cut. The Super Soldier Student didn’t know how to react, should she help the little girl and his monstrous guardian or help her mentor. The situation had her baffled and she couldn’t pick which side to help, as Warden’s appearance was a bit too shocking for her, maybe Falken was just hunting monsters… but the little girl knew Harper.
As she debated, paralyzed, The Infamous Mercenary’s weapon changed again into blaster mode. –You can lose the homage to Lovercraft, you don’t bloody scare me you wanker…- With brutish determination he started shooting at Warden’s joints, looking for an attack that maimed or even dismembered the Powerful Guardian. -Get ready for an asskicking, and after you I'm killing the little girl over there.-
Finally Velvela shouted. -Did Harper order you to do this?- But Falken couldn't hear her over the sound of his blaster's barrage, and he if could (most likely thanks to his enhanced senses) then he was ignoring her.

Eve gave Garo an annoyed look. "That's enough of your petty grudge. We could use his firepower in this situation. For now, his personality doesn't matter. Although I will need a word with him about his attitude later..." She seemed irritated for a second before she smiled and followed Garo. "Come on Alex. Pick up the pace." She gave him a little shove and ran past. She avoided the front entrance to keep away from Falken and her family. He might not have bothered letting Warden and Ariana get far from the town. In a little more than a minute, she was at the cell tower. Panting slightly, she glanced around for Garo. "This spot to your liking?" She asked both her team mates.
___
Warden didn't make a sound when his arm was sliced off at the wrist. He had grown quite used to pain over the years and had no need to waste noise on this petty nuisance. A tendril burst from the jagged stump, lashing to smash Falken flat before that limb was blasted off at the elbow. Warden teetered on three legs for a second before another blast caught another arm. With a splatter of gore, he fell over, a little muffled scream coming from the hardened spot on his back.
He started to adapt before he even hit the ground. His remaining limbs twisted to the front of his body to face Falken. With no need to support him, they became more spindly and sharp, practically flexible blades more than legs now. With a ripple of flesh, a human like mouth appeared on the side of his domed body. "Harper? So my daughter did indeed put you to this. I can pay handsomely for you to let me free. Otherwise... I will tear you apart and douse your worthless parts in acid." It spoke with a voice twisted and dark, deep as the roots of mountains and burning with utter malice. He made good on his threat, slicing down on either side of Falken's body to limit his movement before spewing acid in a foul fountain from his twisted head.

Alex understands that it was now the time to move at a quicker pace with Eve's little shove. So he moves from his snail level movement and begins to fast walk towards the tower. On the way, he begins to wonder if he should lay out his trap along the path to the tower, yet he decides against it at first, since he doesn't want any of his teammates to accidentally fall into his own traps. He tells himself that he should wait to get to the base of the tower before he sets up his stage, that way at least his fellow hunters will know the general locations where he place his traps and thus be able to know how to avoid his traps along with being able to work together with Alex to lure the monsters in his "special zones." It was going to take him around 5 to 10 minutes before he eventually reaches the base of the tower. In the meantime he studies the streets to figure out the perfect spots for his wire threads. As he looks carefully, he starts to see the potential for some interesting trap locations and begins to think about setting some traps along the way after all: Maybe I should put place a few traps just in case.... A smile appears on his face as he moves towards one of the side streets that was right off the main road. I'll just tell them to avoid the side streets when I caught up to the others.

After jumping backwards to avoid the clawed tendril the Infamous Mercenary asked -You’re Eve’s father!?- With just a hint of shock before looking up in a split second of thought and added. –Eh, checks out…- Once again he aimed with his gun at Warden and Ariana. –Sorry, but I don’t think you can pay me in the same coin as your daughter, if that’s true.- He turned to his intern and added. –And we got already paid by the current employer, so we can’t jump ship without a real reason, it’s not a bloody proper thing for a mercenary to change employers without reason, we need to have standards little girl.-
The Falcon Eye Killer turned to Warden once again with his right eye shining even brighter. –And about the acid I think you will have a bloody problem…- He pinpointed the less dense parts of Warden’s shifting form and started shooting. – I don’t have worthless parts…-
-Tsk… this will suffice, I’ll search for higher ground and set my arrows... -The Old Archer was still pissed off having to work with Falken, but he seemingly didn’t have any choice. Even if he disliked the guy he could admit that the Mercenary could be an asset from time to time, whenever he wasn’t being a showboating asshole. As he left he spoke again without turning around.- Just don’t take any stupid risks, will you? I don’t want to end up without a job…-

Eve hugged Garo. "I'll be fine. Don't kill Falken if he gets back while I'm gone." She trudged to the edge of the clearing with the cell tower and paused. "You still want to come, or would you rather lie in wait? Not you Alex, you stay here."
___
Warden began to adapt again when his acid uselessly splashed. The blasts tearing into his body were swiftly healed from, but eventually Ariana might get injured. Something in his mouth changed, making a sparking mess. Before he could change the acid into a flammable fuel and spew it out all over Falken, he felt something shift and grow in his body. Oh god dammit.
In a burst of blue light, Ariana shattered her cocoon and flew up. "Stop shooting my daaaaaaad!" She was different than before, quite a bit taller and more mature, looking perhaps 13. She swept her hands and fists of water started forming from the falling rain, striking at Falken from all sides. A tendril grabbed her and yanked her hard to the ground, splattering her with mud, which would delight her if it didn't hurt. "Ariana! This is not your fight!" The great mouth paused in a sneer for a second. She was already more capable, he might as well take advantage. "Fly off, as fast as you can! I'll call you when I'm done!" "But I can help!" "I will not let you risk yourself. GO!"
The boom of his last yell bounced the water of the puddle Ariana sat in and cowed her enough to obey, darting past him and flying into the woods, clumsily knocking branches and even small trees to the ground when she slammed into them. "Follow her. Protect her and I will reward you beyond measure." He hummed to Velvela. Now to make sure Falken didn't follow.
With a noise like a watermelon being smashed, something leaped from the domed body of Warden, attempting to grab his face and claw his eyes out. It was like a horribly eyeless fly turned into a monkey, spiny exoskeleton tough enough to take a punch or two. The main body kept going, only now spouting liquid flame to melt Falken. What a useful power body manipulation was. It didn't even matter if the body part was attached.

After finishing up a few deadly traps on a couple of side streets along the major road that the group had use to get to the tallest tower, the silent hunter makes his way to Eve and Garo's position. He arrives just in time to hear a bit of their conversation with each other and when he finally stands a few feet away from Eve, she commands him to stay put. Alex nods his head. He knows he has to complete his work here and set up shop. He doesn't want to disappoint the target with a lazy performance on his end, but he knew he was going to have to work fast, Slightly annoyed that he will not get to take his time with his task, he immediately gets to work and begins to move to the closest location he thought would be a great boobytrap spot for a creature. As he goes to work with his trap making skills, he begins to mentally recite music in his head as a way to try to enjoy this experience as much as possible. And it seem to work rather well, indicated by his gruesome face shaping itself to give birth to a menacing grin.

-I don’t make any promises.- Muttered Garo, half embarrassed and half pissed. Eve seemed to think that a hug was the best solution for this kind of situation, but the Old Archer didn’t quite like being handled as if he was a rowdy child. He didn’t dislike Falken out of childish emotion but out of facts, the Mercenary tended to leave a trail of devastation behind him, there were more than enough stories of him eradicating whole villages in Africa to allow mining operations, it wasn’t just moral dislike he had for Falken, he also despised his lack of respect for Mother Nature… considering the Assassin’s dual nature that wouldn’t be difficult to understand.
Garo placed his arrows in groups of twelve as he could use 3 arrows in a single shot as easily as 1, thus he kept the numbers in the multiples of 3. -How is your work going Stevenson-san? Do you need any help?- Asked the Old Hunter as he tried to stop thinking about how many arrows he would need to erase Falken's cocky smile.
-Bloody hell! - Falken shouted as he rolled backwards trying, but failing, to avoid the flame-thrower like blast. His clothing caught fire, but rolling in the wet mud helped to stop the flames from spreading. Still fire wouldn’t hurt him as much, considering the lack of real skin he had. He stood up as he finished the roll and cockily asked. –That’s all you got!?- Just to get pummeled by the hydro punches of Ariana. This wasn’t something that he saw coming, as the attacks arrived from every conceivable direction making his head and limbs whip back and forth with each hit.
The Infamous Mercenary reduced some of the damage by going limp, but still he ended up a bit dazed after the liquid onslaught he received. With a knee on the ground he tried to focus and his blurry vision only allowed him to see Ariana escaping with Velvela following close behind her, yet not aiming to kill. The Mercenary sighed as he saw his intern abandoning him but he already knew she wasn’t cut for his line of work, with any luck she would end up in the UN Peace Corps or working as a bodyguard for spoiled rich brats with that soft attitude.
Yet Falken didn’t have time to think about Velvela as once again Warden’s body started shifting and he resumed spewing Napalm-like fluids towards the Falcon Eye Killer. Falken decided that he only course of action here was attacking so he rolled on the ground, avoiding the first attack and taking advantage of the muddy floor he greatly enhanced his movement range. He reached the side of a building and without standing up he re-routed his power to his legs, increasing the strength of his muscles.
-Welcome to the bloody Pain Train! -With a mighty push he vertiginously slid to another building crossing in front of Warden and repeated the process, this time faster thanks to the momentum, aiming to slide down through his opponent’s legs as he kept shooting. Truthfully he was using the terrain like this because after Ariana’s attack he wasn’t sure how stable would his stride be, thus he slid while his mainframe ran some check-ups.

Eve guessed Garo was staying here. "Alright then, you two deal with that. I'll go fetch our guest of honor." She turned and marched into the woods, seeking out the clearing she had last encountered him. It was quite a ways off, but she could make good time if she grew gills and walked through the lake.

This was a bad environment for flame. By the looks of it, not a good opponent for it either. He scanned the exposed metal and machinery he could now see through Falken's damaged skin. This would require a different tact. The blasts raining upon his body were beginning to get irritating, costing him flesh. He wouldn't last forever if he couldn't hit and destroy the assassin.
The first thing that came to mind as Falken slid about was that he could no longer hold still. His long neck withdrew, and his long, bladed limbs retreated to function as legs once more. New limbs popped from his rear and soon he stood on four taloned legs, wide mouth dripping with flame. He spun to latch onto Falken's body with his long talons with the intent of getting his massively strong jaws around Falken's body so he could crush him. His feline form coiled spinelessly to entangle Falken and his dead predator eyes locked with his.

In the woods, the great tiger watched the aberration charge past. There it was. The curse upon its land. It was followed by another. Just a human. But Byakko was enraged. Every single living being was poisoned by the aberration's presence. The god uncurled itself from its hiding spot, blindingly white fur crackling. Slowly, it padded after them, holding back just enough to stay out of their eyeshot.
