As Shin is release from the grip of Savage Warrior, he quickly collapses on the ground. Spitting his own blood out of his mouth so he could talk, he manages to mumbles a quick sign of gratitude to Shi and Katsuo while his face is touching the floor, "Thanks." He slowly places his hands closer to the center of his chest and begin to push up towards the side, causing his body to roll onto his back. While on his back, he stares up at the beast on the ceiling. "Is it just me, or does he look madder than before?" He quickly jumps off his back and lands on his feet. He attempts to summon another pair of swords, but he still didn't have enough energy left to do that. "No choice then." Looking across the room, he spots a pair of swords that he dropped earlier, or did they belong to his clone? -Doesn't matter!- yelled Shin to himself as he is figuring out his next move. -I need to get those swords.- Without wasting anymore time, he makes a beeline for his weapons.

Katsuo could not believe the foolishness of Shi no Kaze's plan. Didn't somebody say that they are 10 km below the ground?
"Stop, Shi no kaze! It is too dangerous! This place is already scarred by the fighting! If it falls, we will be buried alive! If we are even lucky enough to suffer such a fate..."
At the same time, he backed away. The hole the previous creature made when it showed up... If the cursed blade did not stop, it might be the only escape route. But did the other swordsman even notice they that are in danger? He seemed preoccupied with wanting to slay the monster.

Shi’s intentions were good, but the building was made to resist much worse damage that the one caused by this skirmish. The pressure she generated would reach up to a certain distance before stopping because of the lacks of cracks to enter. Still this was more than enough to cause a veritable avalanche to fall from the ceiling, like a waterfall of rocks and dust, taking Savage Warrior alongside with it. The noise was deafening, akin to a building collapsing after a demolition. It would be wise for anybody around the area to move away, as around 15 tons of rocks and dust fell off burying the beast under it. The whole room trembled upon the impact of the larger rocks, and even through it the shrieks of Savage Warriors could be heard by anybody around, echoing through the hallways of the HQ.
The seismic ripple was strong, but not enough to reach the entire massive underground compound. But for Roshi and the Omega Squad it was as if a powerful quake hit their hallway. Dust fell off from above as the walls shook like they were made of jello. Rai, the Oni Battlemaster, raised her hands and firmly planted them on the ceiling, as if she was trying to prematurely hold it up. Mawaru phased through a wall leaving the others but returned after the vibrations ended and finally Roshi lifted a couple of paper charms creating dozens of golden pillars that held the roof in place and directed them towards the training ground.
-I don’t like the sound of that, not at all.- The Leader of the JHWAB muttered as he lead the way, the sound of his cane hitting the floor echoing in the hallways.

Shi no Kaze's tactic worked exactly how she hoped. Crushing death for the monster, but relative safety for Kat. Her mist flowed down with the boulders, darting just ahead to become a rushing wall. The cloudy barrier aimed to slam into Katsuo and continue with the hope of shoving him far from the crushing stones. She kept her texture pillowy and as soft as it could be, but with the speed she was traveling, it would still be a bumpy ride for her dear Kat.

Shin spirits like a mad man to avoid the falling rocks. As he runs away from the rocks, he manages to scoop up a pair of swords. As soon as his hands touch the blades, the swords revert back into energy and return to him. With more energy in his system, he quickly shifts into high gear to avoid the rest of the rocks. After moving far enough, he turns around and looks for savage warrior. Even if he wants to be hopeful, he knew that those rocks couldn't have been enough to defeat such a powerful opponent. And in his current state, he is basically useless right now. Yet, even in this situation, his mind never considering running. If he is too die here, then he will die fighting will all his remaining strength. He readies himself into a stance and waits his opponent to emerge from the rubble.

The ceiling held up better then Katsuo expected, despite collapsing enough to crush the monster, or at the very least pin it. He did not even get struck by a pebble thanks to Shi's (slightly rough) push. This would be the perfect opportunity to finish it off, but the rubble hid it away too well.
"Now is the time to retreat. If the creature is fated to die by the rubble, so be it. But if it is capable of surviving even that, we must vanish." He told Shin. The man did not seem willing to leave, so Katsuo felt the need to encourage him to do so.

The Omega Squad, led by Roshi, arrived to the training area just as the tremors finally settled and the dust was slowly drifting down to the floor. A massive mountain of debris was created thanks to Shi’s efforts and it lied there, in the middle of the room, like some ancient burial ground, quite appropriate considering who was underneath. All of the members of the highest ranking unit in the JHWAB were ready to fight, but their war faces slowly faded upon seeing the whole mess. Shin Bushitora was still lying motionless inside a crater, his father right next to him, collapsed on the ground totally exhausted.
Rai lowered her massive Kanabo, displaying almost childish disappointment on her fierce face. –No fight? Awwwwh, but I wanted a fight. - Her mannerisms and tone had a crucial contrast with her beastly appearance. The reason for it was simple, she was quite young for Oni standards, but she was one of the very few full blooded Oni still alive, thus she was extremely powerful. Dansei turned off his armor, revealing his frustrated face. He yawned while scratching his 3’o clock stubble. –That seems to be the case young lady, that seems to be the case… what a drag, getting out the bed today was a bad idea.- He closed up his yukata and yawned again.
Mawaru, the young boy dressed in winter clothing was floating around smelling the air with interest, especially around the mountain of rocks. –Sooo… Is there a spirit arooound?- He asked with a strange tone on his voice. –Anooother ooone? I hooope this time arooound is a girl, I’m tired of meeting ooold guy ghooosts…- The strange tone was clearly the lament of somebody in dire need of company from the opposite genre. Finally the last one to talk was the robot, who slide over the ground, cms above it and moved towards Shin Akiyama. –Inquiry/ Are you hurt? / Do you require medical assistance? - AM-TRSU-101, a cybernetic organism created to emulate the olds gods of Japan spoke with a mechanic voice full of simulated compassion.
Roshi threw a couple more of paper charms over the Bushitora duo, reinforcing the healing of Shin and helping Norio to recharge before lasting damage would affect the Old Inspector and turned to Katsuo. –I think I should thank you three for your help and I’m sure you also have many questions about the events that transpired today.- He sat down over a large rock, fallen from the roof, and sighed. –I owe you at least that much for the great service you’ve done for the organization today.-

"That would be nice..." said Shin as his falls onto his knees. He is completely exhausted by at this point. -I don't think I have ever been this tired before.- He looks at the rubble and couldn't believe that it was finally over. Turning his attention back to Roshi he couldn't help but ask, "Who are you people, and more importantly...What exactly was that thing?!" he said as he points towards the rocks. He couldn't understand how something like that could even exist?

So it was really over. Katsuo calmed down and put Shi away. "I have no questions. I will only state we were promised safety in exchange for coming here. I would now request that we complete any further tests you have prepared for us so that we may leave." He spoke in a calm tone even though it was obvious he was exhausted now that his adrenaline levels dropped and his chi was focused in his chest.

Shi would have broken down into tears if she were capable. It was too much. The rush of victory, the fear of loss, the anger at being stuck here. "Nooooooo Kat! I want to go home!" She wailed. Why would he do any more tests here after that disaster? Her poor Kat had gone insane from fear! "It's okay Katsuo, I'll tie you up and take care of you." She sweetly said, unaware she was far more shaken from the encounter than him.

-You don’t need to do any further testing. And I deeply apologize for the situation you just suffered through- Roshi spoke with sadness gleaming behind his bespectacled eyes. –Managing to defeat one of these creatures is proof enough that you don’t need any protection from the JHWAB, at least not special one, as our mission is to protect and manage the Hidden World Relations.- The Leader of the JHWAB tapped his cane on the ground and golden energy sprouted from the point of impact, extending over the floor like melted gold. Everyone in the room started to feel a bit better, wounds healing faster and stamina being recovered. Another effect of what seemed just a simple gesture was covering the pile of rubble and compressing it into a square, the sound of breaking stones as the compression squished everything inside was muffled by the barrier.
-Young men, you two just waged battle with one of the greatest foes this World ever encountered. - Roshi’s tone was ominous, to the point that the whole room seemed to grow darker with each syllable that came out from his mouth. –These creatures come from a dimension parallel to our own and they’ve attacked in the past, 40 years ago… Now they came back and the JHWAB is stretched thin trying to stop them. - Dansei got closer to Roshi and whispered something to his ear. The Old Leader shook his head, whispering. –No Kiken-san, they need to know, they deserve at least that.- Roshi’s eyes re-focused on the injured warriors. –They’re called Gainen, creatures of pure concept and psychic energy, created by crystallization of human thought.- Roshi tapped his cane again, increasing the pressure in the packed debris. –A recent event has unleashed them back into our world and some of my men captured one, not knowing that the creature was just using them as transport to attack the HQ…. Japan is at war.-
Roshi sighed. –I hope you can keep this situation a secret, we don’t want to cause panic in the Hidden World Community.- The JHWAB Leader looked at them, trying to measure if any of them would speak out. –Once again…- He made an effort to bow. –I deeply regret that our lax security was the cause of such hardships for you.- The rest of the Omega Squad, seeing Roshi bow, followed suit, some of them, like Rai, clearly uncomfortable. –I apologize and assure you that the Bureau owes you a favor and you will be rewarded with the bounty given for anybody who helps in this kind of case.- Roshi stood up and established a link with the economic branch office. “Minato-san, is Roshi, please bring an Oni-1 Bounty to the Training Grounds near the hangar, as soon as you can.” The JHWAB leader resumed talking. –Stay here while the medical teams arrive and rest, after it we will take you back to wherever we found in the first place.-

Seeing these strangers bow to Shin causes the young teen to become rather embarrassed. He turns his direction towards the ceiling for a few moments and comments, "Jeez..this world is so different from home." Never would an elderly man be required to bow down to someone like him if they were in his land. As Roshi tells them to stay put and wait for the medical team, he starts to laugh but quickly cuts himself off with a few painful coughs. However, the coughs are soon replaced with a couple of light chuckles as he says, "Sir, I couldn't get up even if I wanted to." Today's events have utterly tired out Shin, making not just his legs, but his whole body feel ten times heavier. This recent fight was perhaps his most difficult opponent...at least one that he stood a chance against with aid. "And thank you, but I don't need a reward," he said with a hint of nervousness in his voice. No doubt it would be rude to decline a reward like this. However, his warrior pride overruled good manners in this situation."Afterall...a good fight is its own reward" he finished with a strong expression. His facial features and overall demeanor suddenly display a tone of pure seriousness. Indicating that when he says he doesn't want any more rewards, he means it with complete conviction. But, Shin quickly reverts back to his typical mood as he looks at the omega squad and asks Roshi another question, "Are you the only organization that knows about the gainen, and this whole war?"

Katsuo paused to think for a second. "A reward, while not necessary, would be appreciated." He bowed. Speaking strictly from a pragmatic standpoint, Katsuo and Shi needed the money. For now, he was a ronin. A samurai without a master. And that meant without an income even if he had a sizable amount stored up for now. Accepting the bounty would greatly help them in the long run. "But after that, we must leave."

Shi went silent and settled for angrily fluffing the hair of the JHWAB agents as she rushed over them. She stormed about at the base of Katsuo's clothing, muttering to herself about dropping the roof again. She didn't understand the value of money, being a sword with no need for food, shelter, clothing or anything of the sort. She was just annoyed they would be here longer, long after she had shut down.

As Norio and Shin were taken out in stretchers, Yuki got to the training grounds minutes after she was called. The medical teams were already treating the wounds of the injured and Roshi, who had another emergency, left Dansei in charge. Yuki gave a couple of briefcases to the Intelligence Inspector and left after saluting. Seemingly she was also in a rush, the damage caused by Ancestral Warrior would be the Economy Branch personal headache for weeks. Dansei yawned lazily and dragged his feet towards Shin and Katsuo, leaving one suitcase in front of each man. Each of them containing roughly 100 million yens (1 Million Dollars) –Don’t take this money for anything else of what it is…- Was his advice, hinting about the real reason for such large bounty. It was hush money. –Because the Gainen are a problem of the JHWAB and we appreciate keeping it in-house.- Dansei was using the same tone of voice he used earlier this day when he booted Ji’tal back to his home planet. –Follow the medical staff and you will be taken to the hangar to leave the HQ.-

As Dansei drops the suitcase, Shin picks up the briefcase and immediately hands it back to him, "Excuse me, I think you gave this to me by accident." he said with a confused look on his face. After all, he already told these people that he didn't want a reward. Why they bother to give him the briefcase? "If anything, can you just give an address to a place I can train at?" After this fight, he knew he is going to have to become stronger in order to survive the challenges of this world. After giving back the money, Shin follows the medical staff.

Katsuo opened the briefcase to examine the contents. He took one wad of cash and riffled through it, then he closed the briefcase. With this much money, the longevity of his money stash increased by a lot. Furthermore, Roshi's message did not escape his notice even before he literally spelled it out do to his yakuza background. "Your affairs are your affairs. You should be able to deal with your problems in private."
The swordsman took his briefcase. "Thank you for your... Hospitality and your generosity. Could you please lead us to the exit now?"

"You should be able to deal with your problems by yourself." Shi Kaze grumbled. "I don't care about the cash, I just want to go." This heavy suitcase would only slow them down. Why did they need all this dumb paper?

-There is a place you can go. - Dansei followed them towards the hangar while he explained Inazuma Gakuen to Shin. He also added that it was extremely expensive, but maybe they could use the bounty money to cover his expenses. Finally the young warriors left and one of the JHWAB guards who escorted them went on his way, splitting up from the others. He was a no-name worker without powers, just getting the job out of being a witness to the Hidden World and losing his old job. Once he got far away he took a strange device from his pocket. It was a smartphone, but carried other pieces haphazardly attached to it. The handiwork of a mad scientist, as nobody could be so unorganized. He turned it on and waited for it to connect. When it did a voice came from the other side.
-So, is it done?-
-Yes Boss, the JHWAB defenses have been properly surveyed and the preparations have been done.- He spoke in a monotone voice, as if he didn’t even understand the words he was saying. –When they bring it here their equipment won’t detect the bugs, I tampered with them as you asked me to do so Boss.- Something was definitively wrong, his body was rigid, his face frozen in a void expression, his eyes limpid pools of nothingness. –I’ll do what you told me to do Boss, you’re right all along, and there is no reason for me to continue in this job if I don’t like it… There is nothing to do about it… if something is bad for you is a natural instinct to leave it, just like you said Boss.-
-Well then, thanks for your services, may the next life be kinder to you than this one.-
The young man dropped the device, that slowly dissolved into speck of light ascending outwards, like shooting stars, vanishing into the air above him, teleported outside the JHWAB HQ. He slowly kneeled down, grabbing his weapon as he did it and placed the cannon in his mouth. The sound of the shot echoed among the pillars of the hangar. Inside his room a letter written by him explained the reasons for this, about his ailing health, the death of his family 2 years ago in Tokyo during a gang war in Shinjuku and more reasons that forced his hand.
Kuro-san coldly smiled, knowing that a long play he had been working on was about to start, getting him closer to his goal. He was in a place drowned by shadows, a single spotlight over his head and a faint luminesce, showing the contours of a large ring-like object, behind him. His eyes shined as he looked at the medal he was holding. The Forgotten Emperor was soon joined by the Herald, now in a tall body, with white hair and dressed in an elegant suit. Both of them stood there silently looking at the immense object as another glow started to shine, a reddish light coming from underneath them, a sea of magma covered by transparent plates.
-They won't see it coming until is too late...-
-Nobody will...-
-Dusk...-
