Jose’s hand clutched Akuto as he did the finishing seals, creating a copy of himself behind the barrier, a copy that knew what to do, no matter what happened to him. The clone entered the castle with almost weightless steps, given his lesser density than the original. The Renegade Shinobi was dragged downwards by the Earth Shaker, taken to an underground cave. Akuto shook his head, confused for a moment, shaking the dust of his clothes and hair. The Renegade Akunin smiled in the darkness of the cave. From his sitting position started talking with confidence. –You really know how to pick a battlefield Do-kun…- Akuto stood up without using his body, pushed by an unseen force behind him.
-I can taste the blood of your wounds in the air…- He continued sweeping dust from his clothes with his hands. –You surely met my sister and Aoto-san… You’ve seen then in action… do you think they would follow somebody weaker than them?- Akuto stopped removing the dust once he fell it was enough. –My sister might be a prodigy, but with all her talent she only master a single of the ougi of the Akunin Ninpou.- Ki started surging around Akuto, it wasn’t violently murderous as his sister’s but it was subtle and unsettling, like the sensation of knowing that somebody is watching your every move. Truly that was the case, as the Renegade’s Ki extended into threads of pure darkness, reaching deepest point in every shadow of the cave, so far away from the sun.
-I’m not like those gadget obsessed lunatics of the Kikkawa Clan or the fangless whining wolves of the Okamimori Clan, traitors that allow the chokehold of an organization like the Bureau over their traditions. - A dangerous glow surged from Akuto’s eyes. –My father is content with developing the pathetic martial art he inherited.- The Renegade scoffed. –Fingers that cut through steel? Like that’s something new…- His face grew more sinister as he clenched his fist in front of his body. –The true Akunin Shinobi were feared and respected for our true skill, the skill my sister has yet to master, even if she shows promise on it.-
His ki started twisting and turning, threading itself into strings of pure darkness, like the fur of a beast with mane darker than a moonless midnight. –The Kikkawa are weakling courier raven, fascinated with shinny babbles- The threads grew larger and even darker. –The Okamimori are prideless wolves, who are content with being dogs, losing their traditions… offering them like tribute to the government serfs…- The threads weaved into bigger ones, slowly stopping their unnerving curves and straightening, attaching to the walls. –But the Akunin traditional form isn’t the one of the fanged fingers of domesticated beasts…- The extended threads radiating from Akuto who started floating held by them started connecting in regular intervals.
-The Akunin Shinobi are…- The Renegade’s ki was all over the cave as he was in the middle of the air, suspended on a net… on a cobweb of shadowy cables. –We are Kagekumo, shadow weavers… Spiders that stride in the shadows and attack on unsuspecting foes.- Akuto’s forehead started to crack, revealing another set of eyes over his own, with the 4 of them shining with a sickening purple glow. –I see the seams of your body Earth Master…- Akuto’s smile widened. –All I need to do is… UNRAVEL THEM!!!-
And with that shout blades of shadows flew towards Jose in a whiplash motion, connected to threads part of the gigantic web. As the dust settled Beatrix saw the scene, were Jose tricked here and Haruko avoided the attack, not to mention the newcomer’s arrival. But something caught her attention more than what she saw… but what she heard. The accent, the rudeness… it didn’t matter if Talia was Australian, Scottish, Welsh, Irish or British…. Beatrix hated them all. A vein on her forehead popped as he heard the melodic accent coming for the Dust Dancer, and telekinetic energy swirled around her petite body, levitating over the gardens. –YOU CHIMNEY SWEEPING PISSANT! I’LL ANHILATE YOU!!!! I WILL DESTROY YOUR VERY BEING AND SCATTER THE ASHES!!!-
After such abrupt emotional reaction Beatrix blasted energy with a fierce greenish glow around her in a massive sphere, not only blowing away any nearby obstacle but also crushing the ground underneath, creating a small smooth crater under her. –I had it with you people! One sends underlings to kill you but you refuse to stay down!- Her telekinetic sphere surface seemed to be boiling. –And now you get more reinforcements!!! What must a girl do to eradicate any opposition against his boyfriend so they can have a peaceful holiday for once?- Beatrix shouted as spiked rippled surged from her ever engorging telekinetic sphere.
The dust from Talia’s attacks was kept at bay by the powerful force pushing outwards from Beatrix’s body. The Telekinetic Menace levitated even higher, breaking the chains of gravity through sheer mental might and drifted over Talia’s location. –Die like bug that you are!- She screamed as she allowed gravity to pull her back down, adding her own telekinetic prowess to the force speeding her descent, turning into a telekinetic wrecking ball of around 3 mts of diameter.
OST1 Callis screamed from the top of his lungs, his painful wails echoed in the empty streets of Kyoto as the black miasma extended over his skin. Dark purple flames surged from his eyes and mouth, falling like spectral magma to the floor, as the Beast Knight was on his knees hunched over the floor. The pain coursed through his body like sinister voltage, burning him from the inside out as his mind lost track of the reality around him. Callis couldn’t think straight as the scenery around him caught fire, twisting and turning into unreal shapes of his past, things that didn’t exist in this world. A thousand faces gradually coming into existence from thin air, like mortuary masks of the men, women and children he could not save. Their otherworldly voices started singing, a choir from beyond the grave, echoing inside Callis’ brain. They sang about his failures, his misdeeds, his mistakes… all those lives… all those years… all that pain… focused into a single power, like a scalpel cutting deep into the Beast Knight mind. Under such duress Callis usually would have let his inner beast take over, too weakened to contain the instincts of the savage inside him. But the suffering was great enough to cause the Beast Inside to back away… too powerful, overcoming the ferocious fighting instincts of it. Callis threw up in the ground, sweating from every pore as the pain became sharper, like needles piercing every cell of his being.
But in all this pain Callis noticed something, an unshakable truth in the center of his being… something that he wouldn’t have noticed without this much suffering. Even when the Beast itself abandoned him, too scared to act, he still wanted to stand up… He still wanted to help the comrades that placed their trust on him. As much as he despised the monster lying dormant inside of him he couldn’t lie, blaming everything on it was liberating, allowing it to take over so the monster would do what he couldn’t was something he couldn’t admit allowing… but it happened anyway. Yet this was just a convenient lie, since as much as he hated it, he despised it the Beast was part of himself, not a different entity… just a different face of the same coin. But today he discovered something through the pain and ache. Something the Beast could not do. The Beast just rolled over and surrendered under the duress of Ikari’s dreadful Nightmare Touch. But Callis didn’t… just his instincts did… even as strong as those were they blared in alarm, screaming to the Knight “No! Don’t fight him! Run! Lie down and die! You cannot win” But Callis didn’t want to do that… that was the truth hidden beyond the divide of his soul. The Beast might seem stronger and fiercer, but at the end of the day the personality that always took over was the Knight. The one with ideals, the one with desires, the one with comrades, the one that could feel, truly feel… the one that could love… the one that could reason… the one who could choose to fight instead of jumping into struggles through compulsion by instinct.
Still on the floor, convulsing in the greatest pain he ever felt, surrounded by the faces of those who died either by his actions or inactions, Callis muttered something.
-I’nm ak kngth…- His convulsing body gradually stopped shaking. The choir in his head stopped singing and for the first time since this torture started Ikari looked at Callis with a hint of surprise on his face. Callis repeated his whisper once again.
-I am a Knight.-
The Agent of Hatred opened his eyes and by instinct took a small step backwards. –No… nobody can do that…- Ikari created a new blade of hatred and aimed a slash at Callis back. The blade never hit its mark, as a white blade, another Notio Gladius appeared floating over the Beast Knight, blocking the attack. The sound of the blades clashing was like a gong, a purifying shockwave that pushed Ikari further back as Callis slowly stood up, transfigured. Just like the man whose powers he was borrowing, the Half-Gainen Yami Kizuato, Callis had changed.
A thin layer of smooth white light-like skin slowly covered Callis arms, surging from the blades that materialized on his hands. The Black Miasma of Ikari’s attack was slowly peeled away, flying like paper thrown into a bonfire. The Beast Knight eyes were filled with white light, and white markings, like war paint surged from them, drawing lines over his skin. Callis’s hair seemed to be floating as if he was underwater, dancing behind him just like his cape. Ikari looked at this transformation with a hint of fear, for the first time in the fight.
-Shall we try again Mes?- Callis asked with a soft and courteous voice, while he did a couple of test swings on thin air, followed by a strange crystalline sound. Ikari summoned armor for his arms and legs, with a spear in one hand and a sword in the other. The fear on his heart only feed the flames of his hatred and without replying to Callis gentle invitation he rushed forward arms blazing ready to fight.

"Bloody 'ell, who pissed in ya breakfast this morning?!" Talia asks, watching the esper lose control over seemingly nothing. Was this girl pissed that she had an Australian accent? Regardless, the psychic manipulator was approaching her location, and looked like she was going to try and squish her like a bug. "Look, I don't care about yer boyfriend. If both of ya pissed off, I wouldn't have ta do this!" By this point, Beatrix was right above Talia, and was preparing to crash down. Having spent the last few seconds smashing up the rocks around them, Talia raises all the dust below her at a diagonal angle, so when Beatrix crashed down, the dust would be displaced and knock Talia away with the curve of the sphere. But just to be sure, Talia leaped out of the way, so the impact of the dust wouldn't be as harsh.
After rocketing out of the range of the ball, Talia grins at the new development. With the ground that she had smashed up, Beatrix would find herself in a small hole in the ground surrounded in all sides by dust. "Gotcha now!" With a flick of her wrists, Talia sends a small wave of dust down upon Beatrix, while displacing larger rocks in the crater to send flying at her orb. Talia just hoped that Beatrix's orb wasn't powerful enough to rise up against her dust waterfall pressing down upon her right now.

Beneath the surface of humanity felt like home in terms of comfortability while also being in a state comparable to an intense high for Jose, at least momentarily. The sensation bought an imminent obsession for the young man, who previously never attempt to travel so far into the earth before. However, the current experience can not be attach to any sentiments relating to drugs, yet he is receiving in a sense, another dose of an ongoing addiction, that at present moment, he is not aware of possessing. He understands the concept, that the presence of earthly elements bestow him considerable strength, but never did he theorize, or even ponder, both the quality and quantity of the source of his power. The situation before him offers both danger, yet a new perspective on his gift. The young bounty hunter's strength does not simply return at the pace he assumed it would, rather it begins to increase well beyond his original limits on the surface. The damage from his previous confrontation are steadily wash away as he absorbs a vast amount of terra energy, more than he as ever receive besides a single moment months ago. His body relish, while simultaneously repairing itself, with this newfound endowment. The surprise of the intake, along with its mental affects on his mind, remove himself from the battlefield for a few seconds. Regardless, he quickly focuses on his opponent as soon as he display his shadowy talents, so much so, that he did not notice a new aura of greenish tint surrounding his own body, however this aura did not exist to be seen by the natural world, or even parts of the supernatural. Still, upon seeing his foe's demonstration, Jose stirs his inner Ki to the best of his ability to further augment his own capabilities before his adversary launches the first strike of their duel.
As the sword whips of darkness are sent upon him in lethal fashion, he reacts by a swift change of position. As oppose to moving his legs to dodge the onslaught, the terrain transforms to accommodate an evasion for the lad. Though the cavern begins to behavior like a swarm of insects, with various moments in numerous spots, the effort on Jose's bandwidth to change his location via this method is just as taxing for an average person's brain to command the heart to pump blood throughout the body. As the rocks adjusts his body away from the blades, through the seem to trail behind him by roughly a few feet, he sets in motion his own strategy to take down this foe. To assist him, he aims to weak his opponent. As he was told once, "the source of life is breath", so to weaken that source for his foe, he causes the earth to break into tiny particles to fill up the entire volume of the cavern. In this closed off space, it would be virtually impossible for a normal person to see and breath properly under the conditions he is creating. The dust would strike a person's eyes, ears, nose, mouth, throat, and even their lungs. Though for himself, the dust might as well be fresh air. Still, he hopes to use this cloud of dirt to help level the playing field against a clearly powerful opponent.

Windows breaking… Concrete being filled with cracks… Steel beams inside the buildings resonating like church bells…
Each clash between the radiant light of the Notio Gladius and the brilliant darkness of the Nikushimi-enken caused these effects and much more as blades of lights sparkled away from the ground zero of each impact shredding anything that they crashed into. Both fighters weren’t letting up, Ikari’s face turned into a mask of burning rage and hatred, more like the ancient statue of a warrior god, while Callis semblance was one of determination, conviction and bravery, like a Knight from an old tale brought into life.
The Beast Knight fought with several blades at the same time, many floating around him and he changed them as he attacked, reducing the recoil of the attacks by releasing the weapons and picking new ones as he kept pushing forward. Ikari was combining a spear trying to keep Callis at a distance while he used his sword to block the barrage of attacks from the Errant Knight, who kept dealing blow after blow with ever increasing speed and accuracy. Finally Callis pushed both swords in an overlapping x and the knockback was more than enough to make Ikari crash against a nearby light post, bending it backwards.
Callis raised one of his blades and spoke with authority and courage, aiming Ikari with it. –Do you yield servant of darkness? Or do I need to vanquish you from this world so your tainted essence will not keep corrupting this world, that even if it is not my own I will protect with my life.- Callis did a short flourish with his blade and advanced one step, again rising it against Ikari. –To protect the innocents of this world I put my life, pride and heart on the line.- Ikari growled with badly contained anger, his fist closed as dark purple flames surged from his armor, full of cracks and nicks after resisting the Beast Knight vertiginous offensive.
The Renegade Agent stood up, pushing the light post down as he did, that crashed into the ground, echoing a metallic clatter all over the street. –YAAAAARGH! DIE!!!- Ikari mixed both weapons into a single big sword and pushed down on Callis, who received the attack with his two blades and had to go on one knee to withstand the furious swing of the Avatar of Hatred. Callis grunted as he pushed his body to the limit, he could feel his muscles tearing while using the Gainen Powers inherited from Yami, but he was working really hard not to show the strain, as the first moment of weakness Ikari saw could be the last.
The ground cracked under him as Ikari pushed with all his weight and jets of dark flames blasted out the reverse of his blade directed to the heavens to further increase the force of his attack. To counter that Callis willed the floating blades under the edge of Ikari’s so they would also push back alongside him. The fight was reaching its climax and soon one of them would slip… the question was who would do it first?.
After the first explosion of fury Beatrix’s rage wavered and the consistency of her telekinetic wrecking ball was slightly reduced. She huffed and panted heavily after such usage of her powers too blinded by fury to realize she didn’t splattered Talia as a bug under the force orb she created. Beatrix disliked British people because her powers were forced to her in a lab in London. She was a young French tourist visiting with her family when they were killed and she was snatched and experimented on. She was too late to realize the dust cloud around her, pressing against her bubble from thousands of points.
-What?- She uttered as sweat poured heavy down her brow. She could take a locomotive crashing against one of her bubbles under normal conditions, but she wasn’t in the right mindset at the moment, but even so dust shouldn’t be able to press on her shield, at least she imagined it couldn’t. Yet this was something she didn’t knew about… the more individual points of pressure on her telekinetic constructs, the harder would be to block them and oppose them, as her mind should need to adjust to every individual spatial coordinate instead of a single vector. Even for a mind as powerful as her this was a herculean task.
-You can’t be doing this! YOU CAN’T!- Beatrix screamed as cracks appeared on her bubble, the sheer quantity of particles was overpowering her powers and she was incapable to react to them properly. Blood spurted out her nose, eyes and ears as she kept trying to use her Telekinetic Talents. Soon the bubble would crack and then Talia would be able to defeat her.
Akuto noticed the strange approach Jose was using and counter-acted it in a quick fashion, covering him with shadows that would also filter the air he would inhale, stopping the dust particles from entering his lungs. –Choking out an opponent? You could be a proper shinobi if you wanted Do-kun, you have the mentality for it… But I don’t feel any…- Blades of darkness surged from under Jose’s feet, aiming to skewer the Earth Shaker like a shish kebab. –Killing intent!- More blades surged from the walls aiming to the surroundings of Jose, so if he dodged the first ones he would get caught in the others. Visibility isn’t a problem when you live in the shadows.
The clone of shadows Akuto created stealthily crept through the castle, carrying the artifact that was given to him by the employer to remove the defenses. It was some sort of technological gadget a cube shaped object with numbered plaques on it, some sort of code that kept moving on the Clone’s hand, seemingly shifting ever faster the closer they got to the Node. Soon this would serve its purpose, a purpose that Akuto wasn’t aware off.

Jose jumps upwards to avoid being turn into a shish kebab. Yet, as he jumps upwards, he causes the earth below his feet to dig downwards, which shifts the shadow attack away from his body even further as the base of the shadow's attack moves away from his body. As for the other shadows reach for him from all directions, he throws out his hands outward, causing the earth to be push back in all directions, all expect one, the ground in which Akuto stood on. As before, with the base of the shadows moving away, their attacks move slightly backwards as well, yet soon enough they will reach Jose. This move only brought him time, but just enough. Now, at this point gravity should have brought him down, yet for some reason, he seems to be floating in midair. Though, the correct phase should be he is standing on dirt. Using the large number of earth particles in the air, he uses some of them to create a platform which to stand on, though it is so thine that it is would be go unnoticed to the naked human eye due to the cloud of dirt he is fighting inside of. Well his feet make the platform, he raises one hand up which creates a pillar that brings Akuto towards him, and with that same hand, he closes it, which commands the dust particles surrounding his opponent to come together to form a large rock with his opponent inside. His goal is to traps his body, yet leaving his head expose. With his other hand, he makes a fist and pulls it behind his body as he charges towards his opponent, pushing off with immense terra energy. His body rockets forward rather quickly inside the dirt cloud, so fast in fact that sound couldn't keep up with him. As he launches ahead, a big part of the cloud swirls around him as he unleashes his inner ki. Easily breaking his previous record, Jose's body is soon covered in his ki enhance earth armor. As his foe reaches striking distance, Jose launches a powerful armored fist aim for his face.

Taking note of the cracks appearing in her shield, Talia levitates more dust off the ground and adds it to the onslaught currently hammering Beatrix. While she knew that these two were the last ones they had to deal with, but there was strange third signature that was looming in the background. She had to end this now, before that fight ended and a potentially deadly foe joins their side. "Look 'ere, just give up a'right! I just need ya both to leave, an then I don't need ta do this anymore!" While talking, Talia continued to apply pressure with her dust. Focusing on one point was much easier than trying to send dust in a complex array of directions for her, allowing Talia to not over exert her mind.
Meanwhile, Haruko had managed to stand up and was making her way to the back of the building, bandaging her wounds up to get back into the fight. This woman seemed to have Beatrix under control...but what about Jose? How was he doing against the man furthest in the building? So she had decided to see if her help was needed against him, or if he was preoccupied, set up some traps so they can't get through the barrier.

Callis and Ikari and locked in a contest of strength. The furious downward slash of the Agent of Hatred against the calm determination of Callis’ block, a true battle of opposites as one warrior was trying wholeheartedly to destroy the other, while his current opponent was trying to defuse the fight through martial means. The difference between an attack dog and a Knight were never more obvious than in this match up. Hateful roar against imperturbable silence, power vs discipline. Callis kept the balance of power, but he could feel his newfound powers waning fast, he needed to do something or this might be his last battle.
The armor around Ikari’s arms and legs grew in size and density, the floor cracking unable to resist the increased weight. -Why don’t you fall down?- The Agent of Hatred spoke spitting each word with bile and wicked intentions, pushing his weight down with renovated energy. The Errant Knight clenched his teeth and withstood the increased weight and heat, since the jets of bursting hatred flames surging upwards also increased in ferocity. From his inferior position Callis lifted his eyes, still filled with white light and locked his eyes with Ikari as more blades of light and darkness ravaged the surrounding.
-I do not fall because I am a Knight and falling here would be not only a failure to my code but also to the people I protect.- Each of his words reverberated like church bells during noon. Ikari eyes widened for a second and then slowly returned them to their normal stare as if he realized something. –You.... you…- He put more weight to his blade, the energy was what really got them stuck in this exchange, but using sheer physical strength to break the balance was a true strategy. –You don’t hate me… that’s why I can’t draw more power from you…- The Renegade Agent fingers cracked as he clenched the handle of his weapon. –How… why do you not hate me?-
Callis, even under the pressure, managed to draw a gentle smile on his face. –A Knight doesn’t fight because he hates the opponent, a Knight fights to protect the ones he was trusted with.- Ikari clicked his tongue in disgust as the Errant Knight pushed upwards. The Agent of Hatred couldn’t believe what was happening, his blade was being lifted, before he even noticed he stopped having the advantage and Callis was back on both feet, looking at Ikari at the same height. –I do not hate you, I need to defeat you to defend others from you but I do not hate you…- Ikari roared once again and launched his whole body forward.
Gracefully, Callis avoided the charge with a half step to the side, letting Ikari pass through as well hitting him in the side of the neck, drawing blood from the now berserkering Avatar of Hatred. The Errant Knight lifted his blade with a flourish, a short and fast gesture of celebration before returning to a proper stance. Ikari flame sword pierced the concrete and stood there, unattended, slowly vanishing into nothingness. The Renegade Agent was hunched over, his back arched, his fingers twisted into claws and he panted angrily, the flames surrounding him getting darker with each passing moment.
The Beast Knight didn’t know what to think, but truly he didn’t know the situation was quite ironic. Ikari was behaving just like Callis would be if he was about to enter his Saevus Ira, the state of berserker rage that was the curse inherited by his beast blood. The Errant Knight looked at Ikari with a baffled expression as the breathing became more ragged and the armored parts not only started growing in size and expanding to cover more of the body, but also grew more organic and got filled with spikes. –What madness is this?- Callis proclaimed as his body gave an instinctive backstep, just in time to avoid what was about to happen. Ikari arched his back to the opposite side, his now armored helmet, a mask with the guise of a Wolf facing the clouded sky. -YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!- A metallic roar echoed in the empty buildings and surging from Ikari a blast of dark purple flames. His eyes glowed filled with evil intent, shining with crimson intensity. With an inhuman movement his body slowly turned around, each part moving on its own, like snakes covered in metal. The Purple Flames turned midnight black, slowly drifting towards the right hand of Ikari, extended over his head. Three streams spiraled into his hand focusing in a single point. Callis couldn’t believe what he was seeing. The flames gradually vanished swallowed into the shadowy marble spinning on Ikari’s gloved hand.
The Beast Knight felt a sharp tinge of pain in the back of his head, his instinct flared up, if he didn’t do something quickly whatever new skill Ikari had untapped would destroy him. With reignited determination Callis focused his willpower and mind into a single point, gathering the blades into a single blade on his hand. Each copy of his Notio Gladius flew in vertiginous arcs and crashed into the blade on his hand, fusing into it and increasing the size, detail and solidity of it. Even the energy over Callis hands and face drifted into the blade. Regium Notio Gladius.
Both warriors stood only 5 mts from each other, the distortion of their powers creating a frontier in the middle of that distance, warm light and cold darkness clashing unstable as spheres surging from their hands. The concentration of hatred in Ikari’s hand exploded into the shape of a blade, the mouth of his mask opened, life-like as a growl ascended from his lungs, like smoke from a cigar. Callis hand clenched his blade, his feet shifted securing their footing and his eyes brimming with determination were locked on Ikari.
–Come forth oh enemy of mine, I shall assist you into standing down your weapons!- The Beast Knight proclaimed as Ikari, too gone, too absorbed by the resonance with his Gainen didn’t hear Callis challenge, yet he didn’t need a call to arms to charge forward with a demented roar. Callis replied in kind, but with a war-cry of sheer courage as he rushed towards the enemy. Each step they took made the tension between the auras projected by their Gainen powers to increase, the ground under their feet was cracked beyond recognition and the surroundings were more akin to a warzone than sub-urban Kyoto.
As their voices reached the same note their blades touched and all the energy surrounding them got absorbed into the clash.
The barrage of dust was too much for Beatrix, who was blinded by her blood, coming from every orifice of her face. She couldn’t take it anymore. With a cry she broke concentration and Talia’s attack flooded into her sphere, which fell apart like cheap glass, slowly losing coherence as the pieces fell to the battered ground. So did Beatrix, falling to the ground, her blood drifting away from her face by residual telekinetic energy, like jewels floating in space. Weakly she extended her hands to the sky with a soundless prayer.
-Please… protect Akuto…-
And as she landed in the dust that broke her defense she saw, behind Talia’s back, behind the closed door and tall wall, two coiling pillars of energy, black and white, intertwined as they climbed ever upwards.
Akuto was confident of his victory, whatever advantage Jose thought he created with the dust cloud it was naïve to think that a Shinobi wouldn’t be able to fight where he can’t see. The Shadow Weaver had to back off as the Earth Shaker’s sudden push had dispelled the anchor of his shadows, and without it he couldn’t draw power from them. –No matter what you try you cannot think you can defeat me… I can sense the vibrations in the air… I can even perceive your heartbeat.- Akuto drew his shadows towards him, focusing them into a weapon. –That last thing I will fix… RIGHT NOW!-
The Renegade Shinobi charged forward, confident that his speed and familiarity with the blind combat would grant him an advantage, but he wasn’t aware of the fight outside this cave. Akuto fought with the conviction of a man who thinks he is in the right, of one who thinks he is fighting and oppressive regime trying to drown his traditions and his way of life. Those kinds of men tend to make mistakes, too blind by their own fanatism. But truly this impulsiveness wasn’t his downfall in this fight… but in the mission… rebellious zeal… used as the fuel for a much complex and subtle game… a game Akuto was really blind to.
But returning to the actual fight, Akuto made a mistake. Actually a bunch of them… Not knowing his surroundings… focusing only on one enemy… ignoring clear signs of the target skill… underestimating Jose… but truly the first one was the most important, as blind to the battles outside he couldn’t gauge the effects on them on his surroundings. The first part of his defeat came by his lover hand, as her massive telekinetic wrecking ball did much more than create a crater on the surface, it also caused cracks on the underground area under the castle. But that wasn’t all, as the clash between Callis and Ikari released a shockwave…
This shockwave sipped into the ground through the damaged sections and slowly travelled as vibrations in the ground ripping open the cracks left by Beatrix and by Jose himself when he created the original tunnel to drag Akuto down. These vibrations bounced wildly inside the underground battleground, altering the Shinobi’s perceptions warping the image he had and making him believe Jose was much closer than he was. With the arrogance of a man who never lost a fight he flash-stepped into a position he believed was right behind Jose and attacked with all his might.
Unluckily, he was right in front of the Elemental Warrior. The vibrations ended soon enough for him to realize his mistake and start reacting, turning his face towards his opponent, but he wasn’t swift enough to avoid, block or parry. Jose’s punch hit Akuto right in the face, the sound of broken bones and gushing blood accompanied the massive sound of the armored fist’s impact. The Renegade Shinobi face was sunken inwards, bones broken, blood vessels ruptured, one of his eyes popped under the pressure and his muscle tissue was torn apart, his teeth flew away like a cascade of ivory.
He was sent flying backwards, crashing into one of the irregular walls of the caverns, crushing even more bones after the Terra Force Warrior attack was so critical, indenting the Shinobi into the wall, from which he hanged lifelessly. Akuto tried to think as he lost consciousness that he did a great thing, a sacrifice for his cause. It’s a shame he was so mistaken… that he just was the pawn of a game he never glimpsed.
A lowly black pawn serving a Black King hidden in Shadows without ever knowing it.
The clone reached the main room, a large area surrounded by support pillars with the roof of the castle over it. The walls were covered in paper charms, stopping anybody from breaching the walls, but not the roof’s tiled excess to the sides. Akuto’s clone took a device from his clothing and walked towards the center of the room, where a pedestal with a large blue crystal sphere was placed. The object seemed to contain a flame inside, twisting and turning trapped in this transparent cage.
-So I need to press this button and this node will be shut down…- The clone smiled. –Yes… I will finally strike back to those government dogs… the ones that brought dishonor to the Akunin family.- The demented grin filled with vengeful intent got wider on his face, his hands trembled with excitement. –The ones who took our name and called use dogs.- A sudden jolt of disgust crossed his face as he spat on the Mahoureiko Node. –Inugami… you gave us a dog name… then I will destroy your precious network… nobody will be able to stop us from keeping our traditions anymore!!!!- His voice ascended into a scornful crescendo and finally pressed the button. A blast of blue light, as if lighting had struck inside the room flooded it with light, light easily seen from Haruko’s position. The Clone covered his eyes and once he opened them again he only could see two blurry figures, he made an effort to focus his sight and finally distinguished traits from them. Two men, one tall and the other shorter were standing in front of him. One of them was wearing a full black suit with a long coat over it, his hair was neatly cut and he had a cigarette on his mouth. The other wore a dusty blue suit, had short curly hair, supported himself in a cane and had round glasses.
The tall man expression was unreadable, while the short man face reflected unbearable sadness. Akuto’s clone looked at them with a puzzled expression from the ground, as he had fallen down from the shock of the light. He pointed at them with a shaking finger and muttered. –Who…who…are- But he was interrupted by the tall man who ignored his wavering question and looked at his companion. –Lazarus-hakase, could you please start working, my desire is to leave as soon as possible.- The short man, Dr. Lazarus, nodded and paced towards the node, taking a strange device from his suit inner pocket and placed it over the node, slowly submerging into the crystal. -Yes old friend... I'll do it as fast as I can.- Lazarus spoke with a faint voice, as if he was incapable of speaking louder.
Callis and Ikari clash blasted all the energy upwards, in two intertwined pillars of energy, the same Beatrix saw as she fell and the warriors ended back to back with 3 mts between them. A moment of silence invaded the battleground, no more energy blasting around, no more pressure, just both fighters standing still with their blades tightly clutched on their hands. But this moment was just the peace before the storm… a crimson one, as a line of blood spurted out the Beast Knight chest as he fell on his knees, piercing the floor with his blade to avoid completely falling. He coughed as his blood puddle under him.
Ikari turned around and walked towards Callis, his armored body giving a metallic undertone to his breathing and steps. The only thing in the silence was the dripping of blood and the breathing. The Agent of Hatred walked right besides the Knight and lifted his sword up. –You don’t hate me… That’s why you lost Drifter… Hate is power… Hate is real strength...- Ikari’s hand clutched the sword even harder, his gauntlets grinding against the handle. –You can try to sugar coat the truth as much as you want, but that’s the only truth… Hatred is what pushes people forward… even the ones you say you protect… They surely hate you…- The Agent of Hatred raised his arm even higher and prepared the attack.
-You already know how it feels to leave a world, so prepare to leave this one. Say the prayers you need to the gods your worship and say goodbye to this world.- Callis didn’t react to any of it. He was hunched over, his blank eyes staring at the blood under him. Ikari clicked his tongue with disgust and lowered his blade with all his might. He wasn’t expecting to see what happened at that moment. As he lowered his sword the friction was the only thing needed to turn it into pieces, and inside the dust Callis stood up aiming his sword at Ikari’s neck, who couldn’t believe what was happening. The Beast Knight was clearly making an effort to stay on his feet, but his eyes never lost a glimmer of hope and determination.
Ikari took a step back, but soon he realized that Callis wasn’t conscious. The armor he was wearing turned into black smoke as he laughed. A maniacal cackle surged from his mouth slowly growing more and more sinister. Finally he stopped as suddenly as he started, glaring at Callis, still like a statue, and talked. –I hate you Drifter… I hate you as much as I can hate somebody… but you win this time… I hate you even more for that…- Ikari turned around and left walking, slowly turning into particles of black smoke, vanishing to parts unknown, leaving Callis, bloodied, but standing with his blade still firm on his hand.

After Akuto's body enters the side of the wall, the dust cloud disappears save for a little which is use as a platform for Jose to stand on. Slowly the platform descends towards the wall where he send the shinobi. While sensing his presence within the walls of the cavern, Jose understood that he has won the fight. As the young bounty hunter's feet touch the floor of the cavern in front of the unconsciousness man, his mind flashes back to the last moment of their fight. Unlike his opponent, he is aware of the conflict occurring above them via his earthly connection, and could feel the vibrations of the battle traveling towards his own contest. A combination of both timing and luck allowed him to use these vibrations for his strike's success, going so far as to even manipulate the earth and dust in ways to ensure the vibrations's were more notable in certain areas than others. Still, had his opponent not been a blind aggressor in this battle, this fight could have had a much different outcome. As he walks forward, he studies his opponent, and a dark thought crosses his mind. Telling him to end this worthless life, right here and right now. with his power. His arms begin to shake with bloodlust. Soon an imagine of smashing the shadow master over and over again appears in his mind. And the more he sees it, the more satisfied the imagery becomes to revisit. Then suddenly his mind escapes back into reality and he manages to stops his large armor fist from smashing Akuto's head with only a few inches to spare. He breathes heavily for a few moments before he slowly retracts his arm back to his side. It was then that he picks up on the fact that his body is continuing to absorb terra energy from the earth, and he couldn't stop the supply. He knew at once he needs to get back to the surface, yet he could not leave this dangerous man here alone. Quickly, he exits his earth armor and commands the suit to wrap around the defeated shinobi. Then, both he and his armor, with Akuto trapped inside, jump upwards and hit the cavern's ceiling, where they begin to swim through the earth's crust. Soon enough, they hit the surface and Jose takes a moment to realize that he was not the only one who is victorious. After moving his eyes away from Beatrix, he turns his head towards Callis location. Worried about his companion, he prepares to rush to his side, yet his vision turns sideways as his head hits the floor. At this moment, fatigue finally arrives to the max point. With his body no longer receiving a huge amount of terra supply, it could no longer keep up the demand his muscles needed to repair themselves from being overworked so hard. Even his bones could no longer hold together, and soon crack under the stress that was place on them from Jose's previous actions. As he struggles to move forward, he realizes his inability to properly control all that terra energy, along with his body being too weak of a vessel to withstand the power, lead to his current relapse. He is so pathetic at this moment, that he lack even the strength to spit, let alone to scream in agony from the pain that his body is undergoing.

As soon as the barrier broke, Talia shifted the attack to simply bind Beatrix's arms and legs to each other, sort of as makeshift handcuffs. Once she saw that Beatrix was out cold and bleeding from every opening in her face, she leaped forward and landed directly in front of the esper. "Fuck'in 'ell...you're not dy'in on me here!" Reaching into her pocket, Talia pulls out a small grey stone with a set of strange letters etched into it. Quickly placing the stone into Beatrix's pocket, Talia lifts her body up with a cloud of dust and began looking around for the others. The stone she had placed with the esper was a magical stone of regeneration, infused with a small amount of healing magic that would slowly repair the damaged cells of the person near the stone, which should keep Beatrix alive long enough until they get to a proper doctor. Talia normally kept those stones in her pocket for herself in combat situations, but right now it was more needed elsewhere.
Feeling a strange vibration underground, the Australian dust mage looks over to see Jose and Akuto burst out of the ground, both of them seemed to be near death as well. "Aw...piss!" Talia yelled as she ran over to the two of them, bringing Beatrix along on a dust cloud as well. "Well...I reckon I should help the team first." And with that, she places a stone in Jose's pocket, which would slowly start repairing his damaged muscles and bones over the next few minutes. She then places her last one in Akuto's pocket, making sure to bind his legs and arms with dust as well to make sure he wouldn't escape like Beatrix. Once everyone had a healing stone, Talis opens up the small dust pit she made during her earlier fight, and levitates both Akuto and Beatrix's bodies into it and covers them completely in dust up to their heads, then hardening it so they couldn't move anything except their necks.
Focusing her attention back to Jose, Talia leans down to hear what he has to say. "Hey, you alright down there?" She asks.

Meanwhile, Haruko felt two new ki signatures appear behind the barrier in front of her...and one in particular gave her a strange sense of dread. Peering through the window, Haruko saw three figures, the one with the cigar probably being the leader and the one with the vile aura. She didn't dare say a word, as she didn't know how strong these three were, and her current condition meant Haruko was in no position to fight anyone. However, she did learn to lip read from her time working as a shop keeper, so instead of directly confronting them, Haruko decided to try and read what they were saying and maybe confront them after the barrier was taken down. It was strange though...the shorter man seemed to have a look of sadness on his face. Was he being held there against his will?

-Just like last time Lazarus-hakase, finish this as quickly as you can and we will leave.- Kuro-san spoke between teeth, still holding the cigarette on his mouth. His expression lacked any emotion whatsoever, if you could call the blank mask on his face an “expression”. Dr. Lazarus, with his back turned to Kuro-san and Haruko alike, tinkered over the Node for a moment before stopping and turning his face back. –This is the last one right? The last favor I own- A ray of hope suddenly appeared on his sorrowful semblance as he asked. –After this you can get me <Justice>, right?- Kuro-san puffed a cloud of smoke and nodded without any enthusiasm. –Yes, you will have <Justice> and maybe even more.-
Lazarus nodded and returned to his work, as Kuro-san turned to the whimpering clone, still on his knees, looking at him with eyes that could melt stone. –And as for you…- The Clone raised his hands imploring mercy. –Wait I ca- - but his plea was cut short by a couple of long skeleton-like hands that surged from thin air and pierced the Clone’s body, who disassembled into shadowy dust. –Your services aren’t required anymore.- Kuro-san turned away from the disintegrating individual and picked up his phone. –Ikari? Yes, your diversion was perfect.- Kuro-san paced around the room as he talked. –He managed to break your blade? You should’ve killed him in the spot, I don't care about honor, we don’t need interference from him or anybody similar in the future.-
-Can I trust you to handle to handle the matters in a couple of months here? Is of utmost importance for our goals.- Lazarus kept doing something to the Node, even as small as his frame was, it blocked the view for Haruko. –No they can’t help, I disbanded them, they only bleed me money and resources, while they never were successful in any of the missions I sent them…- Ikari probably shouted, as Kuro-san coldly moved the cell phone apart from his ear, as if the sound was too loud. –Calm down, we still have her, she is working on her next project, so calm down Ikari, I know you are still fresh out of battle, but you need to control yourself, I don’t need a rabid dog in this mission.-
Lazarus stopped working and turned around. He lifted his thumb and moved towards Kuro-san. –The deed is done, can we return back to my house, I fear what Kago and Shikishima can do if left to their own devices on my laboratory.- The Forgotten Emperor nodded. –Ikari, we will talk later in our usual meeting place, for now go clean up and calm down.- Kuro-san cut the communication and pressed an ear-commlink with a soft touch. –DGT, please get us away from this place, we did everything we had to do.- As blue sparkles covered them, the energy signature of a teleporter, for an instant it seemed as if Kuro-san was looking directly at Haruko, but maybe it was just a mirage from the light in the room. With a powerful flash of light they teleported away, leaving the node were it was.
What followed was the arrival of the JHWAB, a cleaning crew called by Takeda from the BHA, led by Norio Bushitora, who would lead the investigation. They already cleaned the mess in Callis’s house and the warehouse and followed the trails to the Castle, planning to keep the investigation. Their med team grabbed Callis and entered the courtyard, while teams blocked the area to Mundane Eyes.- Norio looked around and asked. –Well who is in charge of this mess?- The Paper Charms locked the place tight, with an invisible barrier around the walls. The Old Inspector wanted to know everything that happened before letting anybody go home.

Leaning against the wall with plenty of bandages wrap around his body, a young bounty hunter tries to resolve something troubling him. His original clothing has been nearly destroyed, even his shoes did not survive, but luckily his pants did. Still, even barely dress, the weather doesn't bother him, or rather he did not register anything happening at the present at the moment. While Talia's healing stone continues to do wonders for him and the JHWAB crew perform their duties, he remains quite and motionless. Though his body did nothing, his mind races as he stares down at the floor. He keeps going back to the events of today, especially his fight down in the cavern. He couldn't believe the strength that is available to him, but at the same time, for the first time, his ability worried him. He never once thought that obtaining more power would ever come at a cost for both his mind and body, but this experience did present an answer to his search for gaining the power he desires. And so he debates with himself, trying to figure out what to do with this discovery, yet he is not entirely sure exactly what happen to him down there. While in the middle of his self conflict, an inspector asks, "Well who is in charge of this mess?" The question pulls Jose out of his own head, and back into the real world. At first he is slightly confuse by the question. From his perspective, there really isn't a leader among them. Though considering his lack of experience with dealing with the JHWAB, he figures he should not try to be the one to represent everyone here. So he decides to remain silent and let someone else deal with the inspector.

Sensing that there was a fast approaching group of people, Talia groans slightly at the prospect of having to go through lengthy reports for the JHWAB. She had stuff to do, least of all she wanted to do was be brought in for questioning. Looking over to the group that was now at the scene, Talia waved slightly at Norio's call. "That'd be these two right 'ere." Talia states, motioning toward the heads of Akuto and Beatrix in the dust trap. "I only got here a bit ago myself, so ya can question this fella and his friends for the technical stuff." Remembering that she didn't even give her name yet, Talia extends her hand to Norio. "Right, the name's Talia by the way."

In the castle, Haruko watched Kuro-san, Lazarus and the shadow clone talk in complete silence, reading their lips to the best of her ability. Reading the lips of people was one of the traits she had to learn when becoming a seamstress, as it helps in hearing what people are talking about even if they are across the room, as perhaps people would share information about their design preferences when Haruko wasn't there. The current scene in front of her was completely puzzling her though. Who were these people? Why did they kill the clone? What were they doing in there? Who was this 'Ikari' person on the other end of the line? The pink-haired seamstress made a mental note of all the things she could read them saying, while keeping out of sight as best she could. Once they teleported away, Haruko briefly reached for the knives in her side holder...but it was ambiguous if the man in the black suit really saw her, or if it was just her eyes playing tricks on her.
Sighing to herself, Haruko taps on the barrier between herself and the area the three used to inhabit, seeing there is no way forward from here. "Well...I guess I should go back and help the others in that case." The seamstress says to herself, as she slowly begins making her way out of the castle. The scene kept playing through her mind, posing more questions than any answers she could begin to form. Perhaps this was something to discuss with Aria, as her sister knows much more about these hidden world criminals than herself.

-You, pink haired young lady… I suppose you’re in charge of this mess…- Norio glanced at Talia, Jose and Callis, who was being brought in a stretcher towards an improvised first aid sector, before returning to Haruko. –Or at least you seem the smartest here.- The Old Inspector walked towards Haruko flashing his badge. –Norio Bushitora, JHWAB Intelligence Branch, miss…- He left a moment for her to talk and continued, even if he had to interrupt Haruko after she introduced herself. –We came because the BHA contacted us the moment they realized the target of the criminals was a JHWAB compound.- Norio scanned her, checking her wounds. –You should accompany me to the first aid location, this place is sealed for a while, as we clean up and fix everything.-
The JHWAB damage control squad worked in a frenzy, using shikigami (paper constructs) and omnyo paper charms to clean up and rebuild the location, trying to get it to its original state, using a seer who could peek into the past of a location. Hopefull after they were done, nobody would notice that a fight happened in this historical location... well not a recent fight.

Jose attempts to stand up, only to fall down on one knee. Its been a while seen I have been in such a rough shape. Though he refuses to say these words out loud. Looking at Callis, he knew that he didn't come close to being in the worse shape today. To utter a word about his condition would dishonor himself and the bravery of the others. Placing his back against the wall once more, he waits patiently for his body to recover a bit more before he would attempt to bring himself upright. Looking up at the sky he wonders what exactly is his mentor doing at this moment. He hopes to reunite with him soon and resume their training. He wishes to gain strength, true strength, and that can only come from hard work and determination. Still, why he waits here, he decides to study the others around him. It is a bit fascinating to watch them perform their magic and rebuild the place. "It's looks like today's fight never happen..." But he didn't need to see scars to remember the battlefield, besides his battle today has already been well fortified in the fortress of both his mind and heart.

"Erm...I'm not really in charge here. I was just called in to help Callis deal with these two and the chaos they were causing" Haruko motions toward Beatrix and Akuto when she finished her previous sentence. "But ok, Mr. Bushitora, let's head over to the first aid station." As Haruko talked with Norio, Talia puts her hand down in disappointment. "Looks like I'm being ignored...wonderful." Slightly put off by being snubbed by Norio, Talia makes a small lawn chair out of dust, and began looking after the two criminals while Haruko dealt with the important person. What a day...at least she got to see what Haruko was like finally. Perhaps Haruko would be helpful to her student's goals as well.
Nearby, Haruko continued to walk with Norio to the first aid station. She had no idea how Jose, Callis or that strange woman were after she left them, so it was a relief to see that Jose was still moving. It was Callis's conditioned that worried her more at the present moment. "By the way, you said you are from the JHWAB? Do you know anything about the person Callis fought? He was there in the Osaka incident earlier, wears a dark suit, is about in his 30s or 40s, and has a dark purple fire aura to his attacks." She asks, no idea if they would give her a straight answer or not.

Norio heard Haruko explanation; he made a note about talking to the said “Callis”, it wasn’t an unknown name for the Old Investigator, as a Drifter, especially a sentient one, was a rare sight even for a veteran of the Hidden World such as himself. –So you were attacked by a man who also was in the chaotic event in Osaka… dark suit…- Norio started sweating. - 30-40’s…- The Old Inspector’s voice started wavering as the hand he was using to grasp his notepad was visibly trembling. –And p-purple flames?-
Norio looked at the whole team with his eyes wide open, beyond any describable level of surprise.
The Intelligence Branch sub-leader gave a step backwards, stuttering, trying to gather his voice, stunned by the news. Finally, without much control of his voice, he almost shouted a question. –YOU PEOPLE FOUGHT AGAINST IKARI APART FROM DEALING WITH AKUNIN AND HIS ARMY!? - His shout garnered the attention of the whole squad who looked at them with respect. –HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE!? – Norio was quite surprised by the situation, his expression was one of total puzzlement. He finally managed to calm himself and regulate the volume of his voice.
–Ikari is the most dangerous human criminal in the JHWAB History, he used the best Black Ops member of the Military Branch, but he snapped during a mission and massacred a whole location and utterly destroyed his target, we closed down the Blacks Ops unit after that.- Norio’s face reflected the sadness he felt remembering this. Ikari used to be his friend… well not exactly a friend, but the Renegade Agent was many times the only reason Norio and many other agents returned to their homes after a dangerous mission.
The Old Inspector noticed he was talking too much, something not good when you work in the Intelligence Department of a secret organization and decided to attempt a change of topic. –Anything else to report? Did they reach the interior of the Castle?-

Norio's sudden outburst nearly made Haruko step back in surprise. Ikari is his name? Her heart sank as she heard his history. The most dangerous human criminal in JHWAB history, massacred an entire location to destroy a target, and made them close the black ops division. While Haruko didn't watch Callis's fight with Ikari...she did feel their immense ki signatures and clashes even inside of the castle. Could Callis really be as strong as the 'most dangerous human criminal in JHWAB history'? There were a million questions racing through the seamstress's mind, but they had to be put aside for now, as Norio asked for more details. Which there was one more...sinister thing she had to report.
"Yes...we were stopped outside the castle by those three. Callis stayed back to fight Ikari, Talia jumped into the scene and occupied Beatrix, while Jose ran in to stop...him." Haruko pointed to the unconscious Akuto, having forgotten his name from the briefing. "I followed Jose inside, and found a room I couldn't go into due to some kind of barrier..." Haruko mentally prepared herself for the next part. "...but when I got there, three people were already inside the barrier. One of them was a strange show figure that looked like the ninja that ran inside, one was a short person who walked with a cane, wore an old dusty blue suit, and seemed to be the one with the most technical knowledge. The final one was the most prominent of the three...a tall man wearing a black suit, smoked a cigar, wore a long coat over the suit, and had a face that lacked any kind of emotion. If I had to guess, he was the one in charge of this operation." Playing the scene over in her mind, Haruko begins to piece together more of the details.
"So if he was Ikari...then the man with the cigar was talking to him over the phone. They said something about Ikari's distraction being a success, and that they have some woman working on another project. The only names I could hear them say were; Ikari, Kago, Shikishima and someone named...DGT." After saying the first two names, something clicked in Haruko's brain. "Wait, I just remembered! Ikari and Kago were involved in that Osaka incident a while ago! Ikari tried to hold us up there too, and Kago was the one experimenting on Gen!" Remembering that detail, Haruko decided to stop for a moment. "Er...sorry, I got a bit carried away there. I was able to lip read most of their conversation past the barrier."

Keeping silent, he listens carefully to the information being given by the JHWAB agent. After hearing how truly dangerous is the man that Callis faced alone, his respect for the beast knight grows, but any admiration aim at him feels unnecessary. The others deserve the recognition without a doubt, but not someone like him he thought. He nearly killed a defenseless man today due to his lack of control. Grasping the hand that almost end a life today, he closes his eyes and once more replays his fight with Akunin. When he finally reaches the moment where his fist almost crushes his opponent's head, his eyes open abruptly. Looking down he notices that one hand is squeezing the color out of the other while perspiration runs down his forehead. He releases his almost guilty hand and hears the least few details of Haruko's report. Hearing Gen's name be use causes his heart to feel heavier in his chest.

-So Ikari was acting as a distraction… that makes sense…- Norio looked around. –If he was serious we would be speaking in the ruins of a castle. - Norio checked his tablet, taking it out from his coat. –I don’t have any leads about the short man, but did the tall man look like this? - The Old Inspector showed a sketch very similar to the man Haruko saw inside the castle. –He is a wanted man, just providing with information about his whereabouts of his intentions, like you just did is rewarded, we will send the money to your accounts on the BHA by the end of the day.-
Norio turned around and signaled some of the Omyno Mages to come close. –Please break down the barrier and take the node, put the temporary one, if they were inside the castle they might have tampered with it so we need to analyze it.- The Omyno Mages nodded and moved towards the door. The Old Inspector turned around once again to face Haruko. –Is obvious at this point that everything you saw here must remain disclosed, as since we arrived this turned into a Classified Operation of the JHWAB Intelligence Branch.- Norio tapped his tablet a couple of times showing a contract.
–After medical care is completed you will remain in the area and when you live everyone of you need to sign this document agreeing to keep the events that happened inside this castle hidden.- The Intelligence Branch Sub-Leader glanced at the others. –Please inform them when you talk to them, the official JHWAB story for the Mundane World will be a botched heist, while for the Hidden World you and the others in this makeshift team stopped Akuto and Beatrix and you may or may not fought Ikari, that more than the money is going to keep you fed in the future, thanks to the reputation.-
Norio took some steps away, as if he was finishing the conversation but at the last moment he turned his head and his visible eye shined with a quite sinister glow. –And no talking to your family about this miss Miyata, the last thing we need is the HWIC getting their nose were they shouldn’t.- With that said Norio left to keep supervising the operation, keeping some stuff close to his chest, like the surprise of hearing DGT name, considering, that in theory, he was inside the JHWAB Maximum Security Prison, Shirokumo, in fact he saw DGT himself when he helped with the drop off of Reiji Fukuma.
While the operation continued, Callis finally opened his eyes and weakly asked to the nearest Doctor, who worked frantically to bandage his wounds. –A-are my c-comrades okay?-

Jose doesn't mind signing the deal for he never plans on telling anyone about today's events. He is not the type to glorify himself due to his achievements. Even the promise of money is a weak incentive for the man as he considers the experience he gain here today to be priceless. Yet there is another thing that bothers him... He could not pinpoint the exact source of this uneasiness. He did after all help take down a dangerous band of individuals and should feel like today's a victory. At least if this assignment was a regular day, that may have been the case. Perhaps after hearing more and more from the agent, he couldn't help but feel that they only manage to catch the small fish and let the bigger ones escape. And considering the conclusion of his fight battle, he imagine that the real mastermind behind this heist would have remove the criminals they capture today anyway. In the end, they might have only ended up saving a few criminal lives today, who he imagines will probably end up knowing nothing to assist them. Still, even that notion does not satisfy the unknown question that continues to bother his bandwidth.
