He doesn't even bother to try to stop Aoba's slash. For some reason, he sense that the strike will be harmless, though he couldn't understand how he knew this information, but more importantly, why he trusts the feeling. As the blade phrases through his body he hits the ground. Normally, people falling down and hitting their head against the earth would probably not feel too comfortable, but for him, the earth was like a soft pillow. His body gently reshapes the ground around him as he lays motionless. He looks up at the sky as his remaining rocks fall down, once again exposing the sun to the warehouse roof, or what is left of what was the roof.
He takes a moment to check his condition. His eyes move downwards to examine his body. His shirt had been mostly destroyed with only a few fibers hanging around his left bicep and lower portion of the shirt near his right hip remains. The skin of his torso and arms are mostly suffering 1st degree burns, though the middle of his chest has a huge portion of 2nd degree burns. As for his bones, he only broken a few ribs, lucky for him, none of the broken ribs seem to have pierce his inner organs. His body can heal much faster than a normal person, yet even for him, this was something that is going to take a least a week or two before he could return to full condition. Though, the longer he stays in the earth, the weaker the pain becomes.
His head turns to face the warehouse and he tries to make out what exactly is going on. Though he could not see through walls, thanks to his ki senses he understands that the crazy girl that he was fighting with before has change. He tries to get up, but his body fails to respond properly. "Damn it!" shouts Jose as he tries to get his body moving.

"Ehehehehehe...heh...hahahahahahahaha!" Yamiko's laughter echoed throughout the area, delighted that she had managed to mortally wound her opponent. She leans her head over Reiko's face, a disappointed look on her face. "Aw...what happened to all that murderous spirit you just had? Let's not lose our...heads, here! Hehehehehe!" She laughed even harder as she reached down and dipped one of her knives into the pool of blood forming under the kunoichi. Bringing it back out, she tossed the knife into the air, and catches it once more. "But don't worry...I'm not done playing with you yet."
Grinning once more, Yamiko kneels down next to the downed Reiko, and raises her knife to slash into the kunoichi's neck once more, prepared to slowly chop it off so the ordeal could be as painful as possible. She was prepared to slash...until she dropped the knife onto the ground. "Shit! Looks like I'm out of power. Until I find you again, my new pets!" And with that, Yamiko's body explodes into a bright ray of white light, disappearing after a few seconds to leave the original Haruko in it's place. The seamstress stood there for a moment, then fell onto her knees in pain. A quick look at her back would reveal that the injury she had taken from that rope dart was still there, and was leaving a small trail of blood along her back. She quickly glanced around the building, trying to piece together what had happened. It was then she saw the injured Reiko next to her.
"Did...did I do this?! Hang on, I'll help you!" Reaching into her coat, Haruko takes out a large white rag and wraps it tightly around Reiko's wound after doing some basic cleaning, She then ties a small strip of the cloth around the existing one to keep it in place and keep the pressure on. The battle seamstress was working off pure adrenaline right now, so her own wound wasn't hurting at much currently. When Reiko's wound was tied, Haruko backs away and begins sensing the nearby ki signatures. Good...Jose and Callis were still alive, though Jose's was much weaker now. Leaving Reiko in at least a surviving state, Haruko runs over to Jose and begins inspecting his body. Multiple burn wounds, and if she had to guess, a few broken ribs. "Hold still, I'm here to help." She says reassuringly.
Reaching into her coat once more, Haruko takes out a small bottle of painkillers and hands Jose two pills to take. "These will ease the pain for a while. Now, hold still..." Taking out a needle and a spool of stitches, Haruko begins to stitch together some of the larger holes in Jose's skin to stop the bleeding. These wouldn't be as painful as normal, since she is an experienced seamstress and knows how to avoid specific large nerves. Once she was done stitching the wounds together, she began to take out a small row of bandages to patch up the wounded area...but she collapses onto the ground before the could. The exhaustion of channeling Yamiko and the blood loss from her back wound had finally caught up to her. Though she was still breathing regularly, the seamstress was currently out of strength to do anything with.

Reiko’s breathing normalized after receiving first care treatment by Haruko. The tension on her face and muscles greatly reduced after Oreki lost the reins of the body she shared with Reiko. The young Kunoichi was trained from birth to channel all her darkness and violent impulses into a secondary personality, one only activated through a password. The theory behind this technique was that not even the very best infiltrator was flawless, even clansmen with decades of training couldn’t be flawless, so to create the illusion of innocence the best route was not creating an illusion or a mask, but cramming two different individuals into the same body. Of course this information wouldn’t be available to them until after this mission, during mission debrief in the BHA HQ.
As Haruko continued tending Jose’s wounds Callis entered through the door with an expression of disgust and contempt, mostly to himself, while he dispelled his blade into the small light particles. –I thank the ancestral ones beyond the stars that this skirmish ended, I only wish we could’ve won without spilling so much…- He looked around with sad eyes. –Blood.- The Beast Knight wounds were mostly minor compared to Jose’s and Haruko’s, plus his inhuman heritage helped him to function even under worse wounds and allowed him to heal at a much quicker pace, even faster after the incidents of Sakurajima empowered with his current weapon of choice. –While you two finished the attackers I managed to finally pry open the secrecy of this operation and found out their target, I’m ashamed of the methods I used to obtain the information…- Callis looked down.
-I wish… I wish we- He looked around in pain trying to complete his idea but finally shaking his head and resuming the explanation with a overly serious face, trying to contain his emotions under the facade of professionalism . –The leader of this gang, the one I encountered earlier today is called Akuto Akunin, his partner in crime is Beatrix a woman with powers like I have never seen, she can use the power of her mind to move objects.- The Beast Knight continued talking. –They plan to attack a Museum, the Nijo Castle Museum tonight, they must be near the location right now plotting their moves. - Callis looked at them with kind eyes. –Mes Hernandez, Me-Messa Haru-ruko… You already helped me enough, you are bruised, battered and bloodied, I cannot ask for more help from you… it would not be correct to abuse from your collaboration.- He turned around giving some small steps towards the exit.
-I cannot force you to come and I do not want to. I will deal with this in my own if you do not feel able to continue or you do not wish to, I understand if avoiding a dangerous situation is your desire. Goodbye...- The Beast Knight took more steps towards the door with a mask of grim resolution over his face. He didn’t want to see more people getting hurt for his own weakness of not being able to capture these criminals on his own. He didn’t have good memories about partners as everyone he had either died, was greatly wounded or betrayed him. Maybe that's why he had a lot of difficulty opening to others.

The door in front of the Beast knight becomes block by a rising earth wall. If Callis turns around, he could see the back of Jose's fist on top of the concrete. "Sorry, but I ain't about to call it quits here." He slowly pushes his body to stand upright as he grunts from the pain of his chest, though the sensation quickly begins to bother him less and less as the painkillers kick in. He stands still for a few moments in order to regain his balance, but he simply stumbles until he collapses onto the ground. "Come on." said the man as he builds up his energy. "We're not finish YET!" he pushes forward with a single leg and lifts himself back to his feet. At first his legs shake like crazy, but they stabilize soon enough. The man then exhales and inhales a bit before walking over to the visitor from another world with some strength behind each step. He stops to turn around to face Haruko, "Thank you for the help. Now-" *His face becomes more serious and stronger in intensity* "-How about we get going. All of us." He turns to face Callis. His body was no where near top condition, in fact he could just manage to stand, yet one look in Jose's eye, and a person could tell that his fighting spirit is ready to go engage in an all out war.

Raising her head slightly, Haruko listens to Callis inform them of what he learned from the one he interrogated. As he was leaving, she quickly swallows two painkillers as well, and slowly begins to stand back up. The pain in her back was still horrible, but she has survived though much worse than this. "That's...right. We started this with you...and we are going to finish it." The seamstress gave a weak smile as she finally made it back onto her two feet. Reaching backwards, she begins to sew the wound shut after disinfecting it with a rag. After it is sealed, she cuts the leftover stitches off with a pair of scissors and glances back over at Callis.
"Don't worry about us, we're pretty capable people. Now, are you going to accept our help, or do I have to follow you all the way to the castle?"

Callis was speechless. He didn’t know what to say to them. The Beast Knight was accustomed to be the sacrificial pawn in other’s game, in his world his mixed heritage was the main reason he was used like a human shield when fights started and thanks to his own self-loathing he already took the situation for granted, being the sole receiver of injuries, the solitary last man on the job whenever the rest was too wounded or scared to continue. This was the first time a group of comrades told him that they would join him even being worse than him. The Beast Knight had to contain his emotions, as tears almost rolled down his scarred face. He turned around to face them with the warmest and most gentle smile he ever had on his face.
-Well then, we must hurry, I hope we can catch the criminals in the act, so we can lawfully smite them for their sins.- He spoke with fierce determination, closing his fist to further emphasize his words. But later added in a softer tone. –So we can then capture them and deliver them to the proper authorities…- He rushed to the door with his big dumb smile as his sword materialized once again, this time it seemed less like solid light and more akin to metal, snow white metal, but metallic in substance. –ONWARDS MY COMRADES!- Callis was happy, he felt like he lost a shackle and ball that always clamped him in place.
A cloud of smoke formed over Ikari, who exhaled after taking a long puff of his cigar, filling the air with the smell of nicotine. The Avatar of Hatred was slowly getting in gear, a thin layer of purple flames, almost imperceptible around him, illuminated his silhouette in the shadows of the massive gates guarding the entrance Nijo Castle. –I expect the idiots he hired can do the job properly, I don’t like wasting my time.- He scornfully muttered as he focused on his memories, remembering everything he hated to power up, his eyes lifeless dark purple as he exhaled another cloud of smoke.

Haruko couldn't help but smile at Callis's joy that they had decided to stay with him. Past his feline appearance that activates her phobia, Callis was one of the most trustworthy people she has ever known, acting like a knight in almost every way. While his swords changed into a snow white color, a thought suddenly dawns on the seamstress. Jogging to catch up to him, Haruko begins speaking. "That's right, let's beat them together! One question though...where did you get those new swords? I know you broke your old ones back in Romania."
Romania...that adventure seemed so far away at this point. Thinking back on it, that was where she had met many of the friends she still had today. Callis, Gen, Crow...and only more people since then. Perhaps her struggle to read directions on a map had benefitted her in this instance. Still jogging alongside Callis, Haruko awaits his response.

Jose walks a few steps forward, then he proceeds to remove his earth wall from the exit. When he finishes, he turns his head to look at Haruko when she asks her question. He begins to remember the last adventure he got to spend time with the hairy warrior. He stops in his tracks as he reflects on the past. Yet, before he could let old memories cloud his current mindset and mission, he quickly replaces his focus back on the task at hand. He picks up the pace and follows his comrades into battle.

If they followed Callis lead they quickly traversed the short distance towards their target. Nijo Castle, as many other historical buildings in Kyoto, was in the midst of new buildings, split from the streets by the old fortifications that almost served like a frontier between the present and the past. The Castle was surrounded by an exquisite garden, protected by the after mentioned walls. The only entry point was through the main gate, usually opened to allow tourists and curious onlookers entry to the museum set on the main building. The whole location exhaled traditional Japan like a thick mist that enveloped everyone who visited this ancestral fortress.
As they were close to the main gate, the Beast Knight noticed something weird, nobody was around, not a single person. As if something was keeping them away from this location and that was giving Callis a dreadful and familiar feeling, something he felt before and something Jose also encountered before. The Beast Knight stopped moving and took an instinctive step back, opening his arms as a warning for the others, while shouting. –LOOK OUT!- Just before a curtain of dark purple fire surged from the ground, creating a wall in front of them. The smell, it wasn’t real fire or magic… but Callis knew this smell, he sniffed it for the first time months ago in an island that almost turned into hell. He knew it because it was on his clothes and his body… the smell of the…
GAINEN
-Mes Hernandez!- Callis shouted as he could feel the memories of Sakurajima flooding into his mind. This peculiar scent he can’t describe, the eeriness in the air around them. –You remember this feeling, right? I read the files, you were in Sakurajima as well... so you must remember it- The Beast Knight asked without any signs of stuttering, as always his adrenaline beat his timidity even with Haruko nearby. Beyond the veil of flames the sound of slow claps echoed in the deserted streets. –Congratulation kids, you managed to kill a sad traitor and injure a mind controlled girl… you’re truly heroes among heroes.- Ikari Fukushi was leaning against the wooden door with a cigar on his mouth while he clapped. –I’m sorry, but you won’t get through me, orders from the big boss.-

As he rushes towards the front gate, Jose feels the shift in the earth and hears Callis' warning just in time to avoid being hit by the purple firewall. "This sensation...." Both his body and mind shifts into Defcon 1. Even after so many months since the Sakurajima incident, he could never hope to forgot this particular feeling he is sensing right now. He looks at the source of the clapping to spot a man he never has seen before. "Anyone know who this man is?" asked Jose as he gets into a fighting stance. As he focuses on the new foe in front, he also prepares his ki as he once more creates a new set of enhance earth to build a new set of earth armor.

Following both Callis and Jose, Haruko also takes note of the strange absence of people to this supposedly popular tourist spot. Were they closed today...or was there something else going on? Fortunately, Callis's warning reached both of them just in time, allowing Haruko to stop just before the wall of purple flames rose out of the ground. Purple fire...where had she seen this before? Her thoughts are soon interrupted by the Avatar of Hatred's mocking voice and clapping. One glance at him reminded Haruko of exactly who he was...he was the man who Crow and Sid fought back in Osaka!
Glancing over at Jose, Haruko nods her head with slight unease. "Yeah...he tried stopping us from rescuing a friend in Osaka a while ago. I ran ahead back then...but I heard that he toyed with both Crow and another person like they were nothing. Be careful here." Staring up at Ikari, Haruko became slightly more uneasy at the situation. Her mana had not yet recovered from channeling Yamiko for so long, making her incapable of transforming into either Opal Song or Yamiko at all, putting her at a harsh disadvantage here. Could they seriously pose a threat to this guy in their battered state?

With his is skin crawling, Callis glared at Ikari, not out of anger, but instinctively, like a cornered animal trying to keep a dangerous predator in check. The Beast Knight could feel it, the insidious tentacles of hatred crawling around them, like smoke slowly covering the area, numbing his senses while his brain was gradually invaded by this blistering feeling. The Knight inside him fought against this wave of madness and hatred, serving as a buffer between the emotional onslaught and the Beast lurking in the depths of his soul. This internal struggle was brief, yet fierce, ending on the Knight’s slim victory.
Still this wasn’t a triumph only attributed to Callis psyche’s human side, but to the powers resting within him, as from deep inside his soul a voice called him out and gave him an order. <Callis don’t get scared. You can hurt him, use the blades you inherited to fight him, protect those you care about.> The Beast Knight knew what to do. But first things first, as he turned around to reply to Haruko’s comments, quite surprised about the information. –T-the m-m-man gua-guarding the ga-gates w-w-was invo-volved in O-o-osa-osaka?- He asked and quickly explained. –I-I read s-some of the re-re-reports.-
As he talked he focused on Haruko and Jose, both of them much more injured that himself. He knew by a fact than the enemies inside weren’t as powerful as the man guarding the Gate. So he knew what had to be done. –Me-me-messa Mi-miyata… Mes Hernandez…- Callis turned back to glaring at Ikari. -Go on ahead, I will keep him occupied while you stop the criminals trying to commit a robbery on the museum. - The Beast Knight summoned his Notio Gladius once again, but in a clear display of how much he considered Ikari a threat, he summoned a second one, going with two weapons from the start.
He slashed through the flames, cutting a path into the perimeter created by them, it closing behind him once again with renovated vigor. Through the unnatural crackle of the purple fires Callis talked to them. –Go, jump over the wall, I will make everything in my power to keep this man occupied.- The Beast Knight walked towards Ikari while he reversed his grip on both swords. –So you want to play the hero Drifter?- Ikari popped his neck and threw his cigar on the ground, stepping on it with a cocky and sinister smile plastered on his face, his shoulders leaving the door he was guarding as he advanced to face Callis.
Soon both of them were meters away, eyes locked on each other. The Agent of Hatred sneering at Callis with confidence, while the Beast Knight was concentrating on his own body, hoping that he would be able to use what he planned without issues. –I don’t mind them jumping over the fence, they are half dead and I’m sure that even as inefficient as they are the idiots inside can deal with them, but you… I’ve seen the BHA files and the JHWAB case files on you.- Ikari popped his extended fingers one hand at the time. –You’re a Drifter without any attachments here, a boat lost in the dimensional currents… What’s your stake in all this?- He asked while his eyes started to shine dangerously.
-I fight for my comrades, nothing else and nothing more. - Callis raised one of his blades pointing at Ikari. –I am Callis Nomene, Regulus Aurora Ensis, Knight of the Kingdom of Via, Marshall of the 3rd Army of the Unda War and I challenge you to a duel.- The fierce determination of Callis only received an eye roll and rude snort. –So you are one of those.- A single blade of the same flames as before surged from his palm, while is other hand pulled it out. He gave a couple of practice swings with it cutting the air with a roaring sound. He took a high stance, orthodox kendo posture and glared at Callis. –I completely detest your kind.- And he charged forward, Callis doing the same towards what seemed to be the start of a brutal fight.
Meanwhile, inside Nijo Castle’s exquisite traditional gardens, Beatrix and Akuto found a minor obstacle. Around them, lying on the ground many of Akuto’s underlings were charred to death as they were sent first into the Castle but a golden barrier, signature of Roshi Yasumori, burned them to a crisp the moment they tried to enter. The Telekinetic Menace was throwing anything she could find around her towards the barrier in hopes of destroying it or at least diminishing its strength. And as stone lanterns flew towards the Castle the Renegade Shinobi was immersed in deep thought trying to find a way around the Barrier.
He had the semblance of an idea, but he needed time to time, something he might not have considering how close Jose and Haruko were about to get.

He didn't want to leave Callis alone to face this guy, but he trusts in the Beast knight to be able to handle himself against this foe. As the path ahead is open to him, Jose places his hand on the ground and equips his new set of ki enhance earth armor. However, unlike before, the armor is a lot less bulky than the previous set, especially around the arms and hands. The density difference between this new gear compare to the old one is not so much an indicator of a different version of his earth armor for combat reasons, such as trading power for speed, but rather just the reflection of his current weaken condition.
Without wasting anytime, as soon as he is ready to go, since he is already so close to the ground, he simply places both of his hands on the floor almost as if he is a runner in a race. The earth around him begins to fold underneath his body as he creates a unique build up of energy behind his legs. He scans ahead and detaches the presence of couple of unique individuals. Once he is sure he got the angle just right, he quickly jerks forwards and moves straight through like a bullet train. This entire process takes the young bounty hunter less than a second to perform and before long he will close the distance between himself and the intruders.

Staring at Callis for a few seconds, Haruko was about to open her mouth and protest Callis's decision to fight this monster on his own...but then realized that she wouldn't be of much help to him even if she did stay. No...her abilities were more needed to make sure the mission was successful. She had heard of how easily Ikari was able to swat away nearly everything Crow and Sid threw at him, and now it was just Callis facing him, one on one. She had to admit, he certainly had the courage of a knight.
Turning to face the door, Haruko calls out to Callis. "Ok...be careful! We'll deal with those creeps on the inside!" And with that, Haruko sprints through the hole in the fire, making her way to the door after Jose rocketed forward. He was out of earshot at this point, so there was no point in calling after him. Focusing her ki to her feet, Haruko increases her speed to try and close the gap between herself and the two head intruders. Hopefully they were strong enough in this state...

-Honey Bunny, can you keep them occupied while I deal with the Barrier?- Akuto asked in a gentle voice as he shuffled in front of the Golden Barrier, doing some strange movements while he had a flashlight on one of his hands. From Haruko’s and Jose’s position it would be impossible to tell what was he trying. Beatrix nodded and locked her eyes on the incoming opponents. The Telekinetic Menace lifted every stone lantern around the garden, counting up to 20 and launched them in a barrage against Jose and Haruko. The attack didn’t just come from the front or was haphazardly arranged. All the lanterns stacked one over the other in 5 columns of 4 lanterns each forming a semi-circle aimed to surround them as they rushed forward half cocked. It was 10 meters wide and 4 meters tall, a quite dangerous stone wall to face against.
As she did that Akuto was trying to cast a shadow big enough to pull his own special trick, something his sister wasn’t able to do, one of the ultimate techniques of the Tokugami Kage Ninpou. Soon he would be able to successfully create a clone of shadows at the other side of the barrier, hopefully ignoring its dangerous effects, so he could “multitask” the retrieval of the relic and helping his girlfriend against the Bounty Hunters.
White and dark purple sparks exploded with each clash of their swords. Callis moved constantly connecting attack after attacking without losing his rhythm, his mastery of swordsmanship was clear to see when he fought and equally talented warrior. The Beast Knight moved with absolute swiftness and grace, chaining his attacks, blocks and parries with such celerity the naked eye wouldn’t even notice the subtle changes of postures and angles his weapons did while moving at vertiginous pace. Yet this wasn’t enough to deal with Ikari, who from his orthodox stance managed to have a response for every move Callis’s unorthodox style threw at him.
Finally after a continuous barrage of attack and defense from both sides they jumped back making some space as they glared intensely at each other, judging the strengths and weaknesses of their rival. –I utterly hate your kind.- Ikari repeated his feelings as he spat on the floor. –You think that comrades make you strong…- The Agent of Hatred slowly changed stances to a Battoujutsu one, his own natural stance. –You delude yourself with empty concepts such as friendship or comradeship because like them you are empty inside.- The Renegade took a daring step forward breaching Callis’s Maai (Range of attack), purple flames surging from his body like tentacles twirling through the air towards Callis.
The airborne hatred expanded as silence set the stage, Callis not looking at his enemy, whispering softly as his body slowly changing stance, compressing like a spring about to jump. The purple flames reached the Knight’s surroundings but as they tried to pierce into Callis’s subconscious something repelled them. A sturdy wall of discipline, training and unwavering willpower, the fundamentals of a Knight who follows his code, he was keeping hatred at bay through sheer grit. –You might command the forces of Hatred…- The Beast Knight raised his head as he spoke, he could feel the searing pain of the flames grazing his skin but managed to ignore it. His blue eyes were charged with light, quite the opposite to the black hole like hateful luminescence on Ikari’s.
-But I will tell you something. - Callis arms were extended backwards as he started inclining his body forward. –I do not hate you.- And with that the Knight sprung into action using the first of the Gemini Duo techniques “Duplex Tonitrui Saggitae” (Double Thunder Arrow) in which he used his whole body as a whip, channeling strength from the ground towards his arms in a devastating double attack, discharging every ounce of contained energy through his swords. Like a whip this powerful double lunge broke the barrier of sound, creating a small shockwave. Ikari wasn’t expecting such attack from Callis, and for a moment the Beast Knight, who ended his movement meters behind his opponents back thought he won. But soon the sound caught up with the action and a loud metallic clang thundered in the area, echoing against the nearby buildings.
Ikari turned around, his arms covered in black gothic Armor. His eyes spoke volumes of his surprise and interest, as a hateful grin drew itself on his face. –So you can fight Drifter… Thanks for making this gig a bit more enjoyable.-

Taking note of the lanterns being ripped out of the ground and arranged into columns, Haruko takes out 10 of her explosive knives and calls out to Jose. "You take the ones on the left! I got the ones on the right!" And with that, Haruko leaps up into the air and tosses the array of explosive knives directly at the 2 rightmost columns. 4 explosive knives were aimed at each one, one at each lantern, while two were aimed at the middle column of lanterns to help Jose out a little. If contact was made, the knives would explode violently against each lantern and send shards of stone flying off in every direction, provided the lanterns weren't made of any reinforced material.
Landing back on the ground, Haruko slows down slightly, waiting to see if Jose was able to punch a hole through the defenses using his own, more effective powers.

"Got it." As Haruko takes care of her columns, Jose heads forward towards his own. As the stone lanterns come closer, he simply smashes his hands together and causes the stone wall like obstacle to smash apart into tiny pieces, which ends up creating a sudden smokescreen for Jose to use. Looking on Beatrix's position with both ki senses and earth location, Jose commands his armor to separate from his body, yet it retains the form when he was wearing it, thus making it appear that Jose was still inside his armor. In fact, thanks to the armor being infuse with his ki, it even has his ki signature resonating from the armor in order to even trick ki sensors. For his trick to work even further, he even disguises his own ki with his ki control, while also hiding under the cover of the earth's nature energy to mask his real body's position. He accomplishes this by going underground. As he travels under the earth, his earth armor, still moving forward with the same velocity as before Jose separates from the armor, continues in a beeline charge towards his opponent.

Once again both warriors were locked in a blinding exchange of masterful defense and offense. Their movements blurring in the air, the sound of the clashes barely managing to follow the speed of their blades, that with each impact released not just sparks, but burst of energy, bubble-like shockwaves, lifting dust and cracking the asphalt. This was the first time since he arrived to this world that Callis had to shift into “high gear” but for some reason he was keeping a clear head, as usually when he focused so much into a fight, only did it against the Unda, horrible monsters from his world and when he did that he usually fell prey of his wilder side… but this time around his mind was clear as a mountain lake. The sensation of pushing his body to the limit while keeping control was something new for Callis, so strange it was almost confusing, but he managed to stay concentrated in the task as hand as he finished a spinning evasion and discharged both blades while compressing his whole body, similar to a boxer heavy guard, and used his own weight and sudden spring-like movement to add power behind his attack. –Have at thee!- Ikari didn’t expect such unorthodox attack coming his way, but the Beast Knight, being able to alter the sharpness of his blade, dulled the side supported on his armor to avoid getting cut and basically tried to tackle the Agent of Hatred with his blades edges up front.
Likewise Ikari wasn’t hurt by his own sword and grabbed it from the tip placing it sideways to block both blades at the same time. He placed his legs and body in an angle to withstand the force of the impact, making both fighter stay in a balanced struggle of strength, using their legs to push as their swords clashed fiercely in-between them. –Interesting technique Drifter, can’t say I approve, all those flips and spins aren’t my style.- Ikari pushed but Callis quickly reply with equal strength to stop his advance. –And as much as I disapprove your collaboration with criminals I must admit that from the many swordsmen I fought since I arrived here you are one of the most talented by far, is a shame you use your talents for unlawful pursuits.-
Ikari grinned wolfishly as he broke the struggle by jumping backwards, conceding that Callis might beat him at a test of physical might. –I will enjoy burning you and your backwards ideals Drifter.- The Agent of Hatred manifested a second construct of purple flames, a javelin. –Make me a favor and allow this to hit you, I don’t want to see your face anymore.- Ikari launched the Javelin, easily slashed down by Callis who spun as he did it, his red cloak swaying behind him. The Renegade was waiting for that, as he rushed forward using the fabric to conceal himself from the Beast Knight, hoping to find a blind spot in Callis vertiginous defense. Yet he made a small mistake, as Callis wasn’t from this world he lacked the information needed to properly face him. Ikari ignored the Beast Knight prodigious senses, a very important part of his amazing fighting prowess as he could receive much more information from the battlefield and his experience allowed him to prioritize it. The Renegade sword clashed against something, but not Callis’s legs, but his blades, as he twisted his body hidden behind the cloak and shifted legs for swords. –As they say in this world “gotcha”- Callis almost sounded playful as he drop kicked Ikari right in the chest. The Agent of Hatred was pushed backwards and the Beast Knight smiled, but as soon as he landed he discovered Ikari’s greatest strength, the reason he was one of the top JHWAB Agents before quitting.
Adaptability.
The Agent of Hatred summoned his armored arm as he noticed Callis’s ruse and took the hit in exchange of scratching one of the Beast Knight legs, right over the armor. “Nightmare Touch” one of the dreadful powers granted by the Gainen Medal of Hatred, was infecting Callis through his body, a black miasma covering his skin. The Beast Knight was paralyzed as it moved through his nerves towards his brain. Ikari, with some difficulty, stood up, breathing heavily but grinning maniacally, he could barely support himself, leaning on a lamppost to stay standing up. With a psychotic smile plastered on his face Ikari snapped his fingers, bursting the miasma into dark purple flames.
Callis screamed from the top of his lungs.
-I told you would burn.- Ikari muttered as he enjoyed the bonfire of suffering in front of him, as the flames searched deep inside the Beast Knight soul to find his greatest fears and make them fight him.
Beatrix didn’t expect her attack to be so categorically defused by her two opponents. –Unconceivable!- She shouted frustrated by her failure, something that wasn’t common for her thus made her quite mad. Beatrix is an Esper, she lacks magical or ki knowledge, so any attempt to trick her through a ki-feint would be quite useless, but the armor moving towards her was more than enough of a trick to get her attention. –Both of you can die for all I care!- Shrieking she raised both hands and then lowered them in a wave-like motion. A shockwave of pure telekinetic might surged from her in a cone, reaching the incoming armor, with more than enough strength to turn the stone construct into dust and with range enough to reach Haruko’s location without losing much power.
For safety purposes, after seeing Haruko’s knives, Beatrix also created a bubble of telekinetic power surrounding her, levitating off the ground with ease. She rise up to 3 mts and laughed with superiority, covering her mouth with the back of her hand. –Hohohoho! You bunch of mongrels don’t even match up to a being like me… you’re ants and I’m a goddess!- With a theatrical gesture she lifted her arms and lowered them in a whip-like motion, almost like an orchestra director leading the musicians. A blast of telekinetic power poured down, as if somebody increased the gravity around her. Beatrix’s aim was to reduce the speed of their movements, hoping to slow them down enough to easily target them with a more focused blast.
As this battle raged Akuto was making progress. Thanks to Beatrix telekinetic armor being lightly luminescent, greenish glow, his shadow was casted in the other side of the barrier. Focusing his Ki he started creating a duplicate in the other side. –Yes… just a little more and I’ll be inside…- He whispered as sweat poured down his face, since doing this through a barrier was quite more difficult than doing it in optimal conditions.

Continuing her dash toward Beatrix, Haruko's eyes widen as she spots the telekinetic wave barreling right at her. She steps forward to dive out of the way, but as she does, a sharp pain rockets up her back in the same spot that the rope dart had hit her earlier. Thinking back, Haruko remembers that in her dash to tend to everyone else's wounds...she never properly addressed her own. The Battle Seamstress couldn't even let out a yelp of pain as she falls to the ground, the attack still barreling at her...an attack that would severely injure, if not kill, the seamstress. Haruko's vision faded slightly, feeling the effects of Yamiko's drain on her powers again, unable to move out of the way of the devastating attack. She reaches out to pull her body out of the way... ...and soon finds herself laying on the ground...a few feet away from the attack's path. Looking down, she notices that the ground she was laying on was different than the other surfaces surrounding the area. Tiny, brown particles akin to those found in a quarry, but somewhat soft to the touch. "Crickey, ya coulda been taken apart right there!" A new voice calls out to Haruko nearby, a somewhat deeper female voice with a noticeable Australian accent. Looking over, Haruko saw a woman with light brown/blond hair, brown eyes, and an outfit consisting of a dark brown shirt with black pants that go down to her ankles. The woman wore a strange metallic arm band on her left arm, and wore a set of thin gloves on her hands. "Who..." Before Haruko could finish, the woman leaps up to face Beatrix and the approaching Jose. "Sorry, on the clock! Name's Talia! Gotta go!" And with that, Talia sprints off to face Beatrix. With a smirk on her face, Talia holds out her right hand, and the ground beneath Beatrix began to break apart slightly, into smaller particles of dirt. After a few seconds, she raises her hand up and a cloud of dust rises up to surround Beatrix, hopefully clouding her force field and, if deactivated, go into her eyes.

Jose continues to travel under the ground. He knew he was heading in the right place, he could read his opponent's ki. He could also feel the person's body touching the earth. He moves through the earth as easy as if a person is walking through a park, however being inside the earth increases his speed, strength, senses, and even his determination. It didn't take long before he is right underneath his target. He hopes that his previous movements are good enough to hide his true intentions. He commands the earth to assit his assult. As he lunges upwards, at the same time, his armor continues to move forward towards the woman, when she suddenly decides to unleash a powerful blast at the amor. Perhaps if the armor was created to its full capabilites, it could tank the attack, yet with the lack of enhance ki boosting the durability of the stone, the armor could not hope to withstand such a blow. And thus the armor is broken apart into dust, yet at the same time his armor is destroyed, Jose's hands burst through the ground.
As soon as his hand broke through the soul, they grabs onto the ankles of Akuto. Lucky for him, the man seem to be preoccupied with a task. When his hands grab onto him, he knew through his ki senses and senseing the minerals that compose of his body, that this man is real and made of flesh. Yet, not wasting this moment of surprise, Jose's quickly commands the earth to pull him down and take Akuto with him, which if he is successful, they will soon enter an underground cave, which is roughly half a mile below surface level. Jose figure that the woman serve to be a distraction, and since he could feel the presence of another, he figure the person he holds now must be the one who is trying to break into the place. Though he wish he could have help Haruko or Callis in their battle, he felt the place he would be most useful is where he could be at his strongest dealing with another foe.
