Jose climbs higher and higher into the air and eventually around the height of a few small and lower to the ground clouds before his momentum begins to slow down. As he approaches zero velocity, for a split second he begins to focus on the ki signatures below him. Ever since he learn ki control, his overall skill increase way beyond his imaginations, but the most unique improvement that his Ki training has given him is his accuracy. He picks up the locations of the more powerful opponents, along with being surprise by the fact that the other foes are retreating. He turns his body upside down as he come to a complete stop and successfully faces his armored body towards the more powerful foes. Then, he builds up his ki within his body and expands towards his feet, which further pours into his amour's legs. Finally, the charging energy erupts and transforms Jose's previously state from a cannon ball into a rocket. As his inner energy is released, he commands his armor to hurl towards the ground as he also issues a special pulling force on his armor with the the earthly materials underneath the warehouse, due to his ability to collide rocks together, especially when he incorporates his Ki with the material. These factors, along with the help from earth's natural gravitational pull, helps Jose to strike downwards at super sonic speeds. His plan is to deliver a quick and powerful slamming force into at least one of the opponents, hopefully it would be enough to take care of them with a single shot, but Jose is not so overconfident and foolish to believe that he could defeat someone on this caliber so easily. He plans to disguise his real intentions with this attack. His real assault will not come from a blow from above, but instead from below. Soon enough, he breaks through another section of the warehouse's roof, which is right above the crazy Kunoichi and heading straight towards her on a perfect 180 degree angle.

-MESSA MIYATA!- The Lost Knight noticed the weapon wet noise when it pierced the Seamstress back and turned his head starting to move towards Haruko to catch her but seemingly there was no need for it. Callis mouth hanged open as he saw Haruko’s transformation, the same happened to the remaining Shinobi and Aoba, who was beyond surprise. The Beast Knight almost dropped his sword from the surprise starring at the transformed Haruko with a mixture of shock and shyness. –M-M-Messa Mi-Mi-Miyata!?- He barely managed to utter with his blue feline eyes almost popping out of their sockets. She briefly explained what happened and the Beast Knight could only nod.
He could clearly feel the magic she was engulfed in, to the point he could pinpoint the source of it. Surely she came in contact with some sort of powerful relic from this world, still it was clearly magic from this world, of course, as every time the Beast Knight encountered magic he had a subconscious hope of feeling the same wavelength from it as the one from his homeland, but once again the feelings of dread clawed their way into Callis’ heart as he tried his best not to lose his focus. He turned to face the two remaining shinobi, but surprised he only saw Aoba, who was standing with a smug smile, or at least his eyes and posture allowed Callis to read that. There was no sign of Oreki, almost as if she vanished into thin air.
-Where is your comrade criminal!?- Callis proclaimed, trying to shake off the nerves that Haruko’s transformation caused on him and the old memories that the combination of sensorial input were making resurface. Aoba playfully pointed upwards with one finger and the Beast Knight followed the direction and his eyes opened as wide as they could. Jose was falling back to the ground, with ever increasing speed ready to crash back into the warehouse roof. Callis first reaction was hoping nobody was watching it or that at least the low level illusion spells the JHWAB organization used were working to cloak this event. Next he started to worry about his and Haruko’s physical integrity.
But he shouldn’t as Oreki reacted first. Over them, through the girders, a cobweb of shadows weaved into existence, turning slowly into a cloak of darkness over them. Meteoric Jose didn’t realize he was falling right into a trap, as Oreki’s cloak of shadows was hidden under the roof. When he crashed he entered the shadow and was “portal’d” for the lack of a better term, into an horizontal trajectory, coming out from the shadows in the furthest wall of the Warehouse, making him be in route to crash against a wall. Callis couldn’t believe his eyes… such power and not an ounce of magical power involved… if this was the power of Ki he might have to look into it.
As he thought that his body reacted on its own to block a sudden attack from Aoba, who simply ran past him while attacking with a reverse grip on his sword, a proper katana, with a strange spiraling finish on the edge as he charged right towards Haruko. Callis was put off balance by the blindingly fast attack, an attack he barely managed to parry and left him dazed… maybe too dazed. The room spun around him as the blade Aoba was using had a secret, a perfect counter against martial artists and weapon masters alike, the design on the edge was not only pretty but also had some effect on the eyes.
-I don't care what you just did, you're going down!- The Blue Garbed Shinobi rushed towards the transformed Haruko ready to do a diagonal slash, while Oreki, grabbed Callis from his ankles, emerging from the Beast Knight’s shadow with a cutesy salute while saying –yO!- and knocked the dizzy Knight into the ground.

As he breaks through the roof, Jose almost immediately afterwards feels his heavy armored body tear something else. Yet, this didn't feel the same as going into the earth. Once his senses caught up to him, he realize that he was moving horizontal as oppose to vertical. That rather than reaching the earth, he instead went into the far end of the warehouse and busting through the wall and traveling a bit further until he smash into another wall of another nearby warehouse. Though the force was enough to scatter the wall into little chunks and pieces. Jose gets back up and out of the wall debris without much damage. Besides annoying headache, he was pretty much injury free from his sudden shift in direction. He looks behind him and thanks the mystical forces of good fortune that this was another abandon warehouse. Turning to face his body to the expose side in the wall of the warehouse where everyone is currently fighting in, he decides that he needs to avoid any crazy rushing attacks inside, if one of his opponents has some weird power that can redirect his body into a new direction. One careless move on his part and he might unintentionally smash one of his teammates as oppose to his actual target. Not wasting time and trying his best to avoid making matters worse for his companions, Jose body sinks into the ground as he makes his way underground to the warehouse. Once there, his body emerges behind Oreki and he brings his massive armor fists downwards. His technique seem to reflect the game Whac-A-Mole, it just happen that Jose is both the mole and the guy with the hammer.

Haruko couldn't help but look away from Callis as he looked at her new form, seemingly shocked. What, did he find this form attractive or something? Regardless, she glanced up to see Jose barreling down at them like a burning space ship. She began preparing a barrier to protect her and Callis...until Jose was teleported horizontally into a wall. So THAT is what the girl can do.
Hearing the clash between Callis and Aoba, Haruko stares at the shinobi...and raises her right hand toward the sky. Instantly, a red spotlight appears seemingly from the ceiling and covers her in red light. Then, with surprising speed, she dashes to the opposite direction of his slash, skating to the side as if she was walking on ice. She began formulating her next plan of attack...
Until a small cut appeared across her mid section. Somehow in the opposite direction that he appeared to be slashing. How is that possible? Still skating away, Haruko stops herself and holds both her hands out in front of her. Then, one by one, a large circle of neon pink knives are summoned. Each of these knives were about as sharp as her normal ones, except they could be controlled without wires. Snapping her fingers, the magical seamstress sends the circle of knives at the shinobi...with one noticeable difference. There was a deep blue spotlight on Aoba. Rather than granting him speed like Haruko's red spotlight, his would actually slow him down when he is in the circle of light. She hoped he wouldn't notice that he was slower until it was too late.

Aoba smiled under the blue light. –Thanks for the dramatic lighting girl. - And he bowed as the knifes moved towards him. A flash of neon pink filled the room as the knives hit their mark, but instead of hitting the Blue Clothed Shinobi, the knives pierced into a straw effigy with the kanji for Fool (馬鹿) and a big dumb smile drawn over the face. –But I prefer the smoke machine myself for dynamic entrances.- In a cloud of smoke Aoba reappeared behind Haruko and launched a consecutive triple full spinning slash and finished with a kick, but something was wrong, as in each spin he created a mirror image of himself, making the situation evermore confusing. That was Aoba’s signature fighting style, lies inside deceptions inside illusions. Usotsuki no Kagami (Liar’s Mirror)
Oreki stood tall over the stunned Callis, who could barely move. His head was spinning, somehow his enhanced senses made him much more susceptible to Aoba’s Rasen no Me Tachi (Spiral Eye Blade). The Psychotic Kunoichi smile was the only thing visible in her shadow covered face as she prepared to attack. Her fingers changed position, not a fist or a palm, but the index and middle fingers were half-closed in a claw-like fashion while the rest were closed. She slanted her neck and her eyes released a sinister radiance. –oReKi wAnTs tO pLaAaA-aAy wItH kITtY-kUn…- She took a couple of steps forward ready to use her family’s infamous Tokugami Koroshi Ryu, a style centered on bare handed disembowelment. But as she moved Jose appeared from under the ground, ready to crush her with Earthly Gauntlets, this got Oreki’s attention long enough for Callis to gather his wits and roll out of harm’s way. The young Kunoichi looked at the Earth Shaker and shrieked. –yOu dOnT gEt tO iNtErRuPt m- But before she could finish the gauntlets fell. Unluckily instead of hearing the satisfactory crunching of broken bones and pulverized muscles Jose’s mineral fists would hit the ground as she slipped into the shadow casted by them and appeared over them in the girders. She hanged head down from her legs looking at them from above. –oOoOoOoOoOhH bOoOoOoOyS! – She was swinging back and forth as she spoke with a demented sing-songish voice. –cOmE aNd gEt mE!!!-
Callis stood up and silently gestured his thanks to Jose as he walked towards him. –Mes Fernandez, our enemy is clearly some kind of trickster, we need to find a way to force her into a situation from which she cannot tread through darkness to avoid our justified and lawful self defense.- The Beast Knight added a bit worried. –I have never fought an enemy capable of this kind of almost instantaneous transportation, so I cannot lean on my experiences to formulate a plan… do you have any ideas?- While he asked Oreki-chan was sharpening a kunai while being still head down.
-So everything is ready? Do you require reinforcements? - A cold voice talked to Akuto through his phone.
-No, everything is under control, I sent two of my most capable lieutenants to eliminate them. I can’t imagine them losing, so you don’t need to worry about nothing.- Akuto replied trying not to sound worried, as their employer was starting to show doubts on their skills, all thanks to some cheap bounty hunters. That wasn’t good for business.
-I trust your judgment young Tokugami cub, but just to make sure I’ll send a man of my own, he will act only if needed, so you won’t see him…- The voice made a pause and finally added. -Think of him like a safety net, I haven’t advanced so much in life without always thinking ahead a couple of steps, you should start doing the same.- before cutting the communication.
Akuto bit his lip, hopefully he wouldn’t need this “safety net” he disliked the whole idea of it… no, he hated it, it almost was like he was burning inside, for being treated like a kid by his employer. Beatrix leaned on him and looked at his purple eyes to calm him down, to great effect. Both were ready, they needed to move towards the next position.

"I'll try to think of something...." said Jose. Studying the dangerous situation they are in together, Jose tries to figure out a possible solution to the issue at hand. How can they prevent her from moving through the shadows? He continues to push his brain in order to grasp an idea for turning this disadvantage around. Looking around the entire place, there are countless shadows inside of the warehouse for their insane opponent to use. So many in fact, that he doubts that they could narrow down which shadow she will emerge from when she jumps. Thus, they will probably have a hard time striking her as she springs forth from the darkness, especially due to her quick rate at which she travels between the shadows. Yet, maybe they could try to lower the number of opportunities that she can use. But how?
Yet, while he forms his plan he notices due to his ki sensing skill, that Haruko's opponent' suddenly appears right behind her. The man mobility was so quick, that by the time Jose could register the foe's actual position, he had already unleash his sword swings, however; Jose does manage to step on the ground with a foot stomp, which causes the ground beneath Aoba's feet to shot upwards in another earth spike at the same time he finises his kick. The spike, like the previous ones, launches upwards with impressive speed and will burst through the warehouse's roof long before a single second will happen. His spike will most likely end up creating a notable size hole in the roof. As the spike emerges from the ground it was not alone. Jose's stomp did not stop at only creating a single earth spike, but a second one, which emerges right underneath the spot of the young Kunoichi. The second spike strikes upwards in an attempt to pierce the crazy person through the roof. Jose knew the move was most likely useless, yet he needed to analyze her ability further before he could come up with a sound strategy to face her difficult power.

As soon as she saw the effigy replace where Aoba had been, Haruko frantically began scanning the room, trying to find where the shinobi had gone. As she was looking around, the magical seamstress noticed that the kunoichi appeared to be inside of what seemed to be a shadow, and was moving around inside of it. This observation was short lived, as Aoba appeared behind her and began slashing with his sword. Luckily, the red spotlight above Haruko's head gave her more speed to dodge the attack, though not before he managed to slash a sizable cut into Haruko's back. Upon turning around though, she noticed something odd, even without the pain coming from her back now. There appeared to be...two of the same person trying to strike her as she skated away. Upon further inspection, only one of the shinobi had an aura of emotion around them, a feature Haruko could see in her gem girl state. Only one of them must be real.
Her thought process is soon interrupted by Jose launching a spike through the ground at Aoba, sufficiently distracting him...hopefully. In her moment of reprieve, Haruko began to think for a moment. This guy was obviously using some kind of illusion, and his partner could move through the shadows if her observations were correct. Jose just demonstrated that he could pick out the real one, and with her spotlights, the girl would have a rough time fighting her. So...
"Tag!" Haruko shouts as she skates towards Jose, pointing towards Aoba and stopping next to the earth bender, beginning to whisper. "I'll take her, you get him. Watch out, he uses illusions, so sense his ki!" And with that, Haruko stares up at Oreki, smiling. "I'm your opponent now! Hope you can keep up!" Suddenly, several more spotlights began to appear around the warehouse, each of them a bright yellow. Normally this yellow light would have no physical effects on anyone under it, but that was the point. The warehouse began to light up like a Christmas tree, yellow light washing over each floor from spotlights created by Haruko's magic. To make sure that she couldn't just jump into her shadow, Haruko made sure each spotlight had one nearby to shine in the opposite direction a shadow would form, washing it away too. The spotlights were still forming, however, and Oreki's shadow still wasn't completely washed away yet. Strangely enough, she was leaving a rather peculiar spot on the first floor dark. As she kept summoning the spotlights, the seamstress nudges Callis, pointing him towards the unlit spot. "Wait for it."

-♪ bOrEd ♪- Oreki said while swinging head down by her legs. But this demented demeanor was stopped when the large spike of Earth surged from the ground and forced her to enter a shadow casted by the roof, vanishing from sight, just seconds before Haruko’s spotlight blocked half of the shadows nearby. Meanwhile Aoba jumped backwards to avoid the surging attack, but he rapidly took advantage of it and rushed forward, while the pillar was still growing and using a kunai he slid around it gaining momentum by the spike’s violent ascension. –Now I got you all! An earth pillar raises out of the ground and pushes him towards an expose hole in the warehouse's roof. As the sunlight hits his armor body, Jose could still sense the dangerous killing intent of the woman below them. How long has it been sense he felt a killing intent so fierce? he asks himself as he begins to sweat inside his armor. As he makes his way to the top of the warehouse, he manages to also manipulate the earth with a few body gestures at the base of the his little tower to erupt into half a dozen earth spikes, which all of them move towards Aoba's position. He hope this maneuver would be able to slow down his opponent enough to pull off his next technique.

Noticing that her spotlights were impeding this woman's ability to move around the battlefield, Haruko thought for a moment about Callis's question as she felt the chill of Oreki's killing intent. If she had to guess, that mist could be another conduit that she can teleport through...or perhaps it's just poison gas. Either way, it wouldn't be wise to get caught in it. "Whatever she's doing, it isn't good. Stay away from shadows!" Haruko calls to Callis as she kicks her feet off the ground, how beginning to fly through the air. If Oreki was going to appear in her shadow, she can't do it while she was in the air.
Beginning to read Oreki's emotions, Haruko could clearly see the pure killing intent that she was giving off, the severity of it actually beginning to make her sweat slightly. How can one person has this much madness in them? Regardless, she had to be defeated. Focusing on the ground next to the kunoichi, Haruko summons a large, neon pink brick wall that went up to the first floor. She then begins sending each individual brick at Oreki, trying to trap her in a storm of bricks that pelted her one by one to hopefully knock her out soon.

The spikes surged from below the ground, piercing the worn out cement of the warehouse lifting small dirt clouds as they hungrily chase the Blue Akunin Trickster, but as the sharp tips of Stone reached the girders they only crashed against the metallic supports, breaking them apart making their pieces shower the broken floor below. Aoba was standing 10 mts behind Jose, standing tall on the roof curvature, looking down at the Earth-Shaker. –Good work. - He jokingly said as he slow clapped Jose, his sword back to its sheath. –Thanks for giving my friend a bit more of shade, she could use it.-
Aoba started skipping on his place, very similar to a boxer starting up his engine and revving up his footwork… but something was off. A trained fighter like Jose would surely realize it… the footwork didn’t seem martial at all, as the Blue Trickster was doing something no martial artist would do… he was crossing his legs as he stepped to the side, moving one leg behind the other in an elegant and fast sliding movement. It was more akin to dancing than fighting… but it was almost hypnotic. The Blue Trickster chuckled as he moved, twirling around as if he was listening to music nobody else could.
-You must be starting to feel weary… confused even…- He spoke with a strange monotone voice, under any circumstance it could be called boring, but contrasted to his energetic pace it was mesmeric, anybody without a very strong will would easily succumb to some sort of daze, nothing too serious, just a sense of disorientation and slowness of reflexes. –Just let yourself be drowned by those feelings…- Aoba suddenly shifted direction but as he did he twirled his blade, causing a small flash of light, reflecting the sunlight with the side of the sword and now circling Jose were two Aoba.
-C’mon Stone Throwing-san, get your act together- Two voices talked at the same time from different directions. Whatever this illusion was it would be a pain to dispel it. Both sides started throwing kunai at Jose as they kept moving around. But as his fellow Akunin Shinobi the projectiles carried explosive tags, which would explode upon piercing the target. The Blue Trickster, hidden behind illusions was trying to chip Jose’s armor off
The pink bricks flew towards Oreki, who at first seemed to ignore them, but upon a closer inspection something really odd was happening. She was moving, but she didn’t seem to be moving, as he steps were so efficient and lacked any wasted movement. The Inugami clan, from which Reiko, Akuto and Aoba came from, is specialized in assassination. That focus turned their whole attention to methods to approach and commit this heinous act the best way possible, training the bodies and the minds of the young into the best tool for the job.
Oreki’s skill was unmatched when it came to approaching a target, she could be silent with her Kage Sanpo, but when that was sealed she used her Saki Sanpo, overwhelming the enemy with her Killing Intent, to the point that even the bravest of enemies would have troubles to properly see her movements. Yes, she could induce fear hallucinations through her sheer blood thirst. This was clearly an issue to regular humans fighting her, but Callis was another thing altogether. He was particularly sensitive to her technique.
-No… how is this thing here…- Callis muttered as his eyes were locked on Oreki advancing, seeing a much more horrific vision than anybody else, as he pictured her as one of the monsters from his homeland… an Unda, a creature of irregular shape and infinite hunger, the natural enemy of the Kingdoms in Centris. The Beast Knight struggled to maintain control, as Oreki grew ever closer and her mist even thicker. Callis took a couple of steps back as his eyes started getting a red tint and the sword he was wielding started to waver and vanish.
-♪iiiiiiii’M cOmInG tO gEt yOu bOtH sWeEtIeS!- With her blood curdling sing-songish voice preceding her she came ever near to Haruko and Callis who instead of falling to his wild side punched himself on the forehead and action that made Oreki stop on her tracks and slant her neck with curiosity mixed into her sinister glare. –hUh!? yOu aRe hItTiNg yOuRsElF!? ♪hOw fUn!!- Callis’ sword rematerialized as blood poured from a nasty gash he caused himself to keep control. –M-messa Mi-miyata… we could use that plan right now…- He weakly added as he charged to block Oreki’s sudden dash.
The Ki enhanced fingers of the Blood Splattered Inugami Kunoichi clashed against Callis’ conceptual sword with a loud clang. She was pressing down on the Knight with unnatural strength as the Beast Knight tried to keep this struggle as a standstill forcing Oreki to focus on him so Haruko could have a free shot on the elusive Kunoichi. –MESSA MIYATA!- Callis pleaded for her to help as his feet slid back being pushed by Oreki’s inhuman might, clearly noticeable on her steely arms that protruded almost with live of their own with each push she gave.

Jose didn't understand how the man's voice is coming from different directions. Yet, With his armor on, he doesn't really depend on any natural senses anymore. All that guides him was the earth and his ki senses. While trying his best to fight off the influence of his opponents words, he manages to rip into his earth pillar from the top and grabs onto the entire structure. Then with a huge amount of earth manipulation and ki working together in unison, he gathers the means to separate the entire pillar from the earth and brings it up in a huge swinging motion. The pillar moves upwards and rips through a huge section of the warehouse roof as the explosive tags go off on Jose's body. Though his armor was cracking a bit at certain parts, it is able to survive overall, at least for now.
Once the pillar was over Jose's head, he commands the pillar to break apart into a hundreds of pieces, each one big enough to serve as a foothold, though a single piece was large enough to crash an average size car. The foothold size pieces flew at first in all kind of directions, but suddenly stop and remain motionless in the air. Then they begin to turn and adjust into a pattern all around what remains left of the warehouse roof, with some pieces of earth floating below Aoba and others floating well above his head. In fact, a cluster of the earth form above both Aoba's heads to block out any sunlight from hitting their bodies. Suddenly, half a dozen of the pieces of rock explode into visible dust particles as Jose manages behind to get behind one of the Aobas and unleashes a powerful and high speed armored punch that even sound could not hope to match its speed.
What had just happen was Jose's earth platform movement. The technique allowed him to jump off each individual foothold with a drastic increase in his momentum. This was due to using up the store up energy of each individual piece of rock and creating a quick, yet efficient propelling force to rapidly push Jose forward. One of the side effects of this short term burst of force, will be causing each individual foothold he jumps off of to be turn into clouds of earthly smoke. Though this method allows Jose to move much faster than he could normally do and even more so if he jumps off more than one earth platform during a single run, the move takes a huge amount of energy and stamina to use, especially when wearing his armor.
He knew that he could not hope to use this high speed method for too long, but he also knew that he is going to need to defeat this person as quickly as possible before his body loses too much control and power to Aoba's hypnotic abilities. Yet, he was not planning on using just his armor and his earth platform movement to earn him this victory.

Haruko watched as Oreki sliced apart her brick assault with frightening ease, the kunoichi's killing intent continuing to fill the room and invade her mind. Her palms were shaking ever so slightly, the killing intent clearly starting to take it's toll on the seamstress. "Aaaaaaaaagh!" She yells out as she flies down and collapses on her knees on top of one of the girders. Something wasn't right, her head was now throbbing, and conflicting thoughts began to fill her head. She wanted to kill this woman...rip her apart slowly...until the last breath of life escapes from her body. Wait, why would she ever want to do that? BECAUSE IT'S FUN! Letting out another scream, Haruko's hair slowly began to flash a greyish white color, then back to pink. Something in her head savored this killing intent in the air, and was fighting tooth and nail to get more of it. As if the killing intent itself was drawing it out. "No...I already transformed! You can't...!" Haruko's sentence is soon cut off, and her screaming falls silent as her body is engulfed in a bright red ball of light. Her body soon began to change shape, her hair growing out until it nearly reached her ankles, her skirt shrinking considerably, her sleeves growing out until it almost completely hid her arms, and finally, her voice now cackled with a terrifying tone. Once the light faded, a seemingly completely new woman stood before them, the kind heart of Haruko replaced by sadistic killer. "Hehehehe...HAHAHAHAHAHA! Why, thank you soooooooo much for that little boost there! I do LOVE that killer aura you're giving off. However..." Pulling her hand out of her sleeve, this newcomer tosser a large knife into the air, then catches it as she points the blade at Oreki. "I am the queen bitch around here. So before I start playing with the lovely boys here...I'm going to have to punish you." Her voice dripped with sadistic glee and murderous intent, giving off her own invisible frightening aura to contrast Oreki's visible one. Smiling widely at Callis keeping Oreki occupied, the woman stomps on the ground, causing the once upbeat music in the background to grow darker, much harsher in sound to listen to. Along with the music, a circle of deep crimson knives are summoned in a half circle pattern around Oreki. Then, with a much faster speed, all the knives rocket toward the kunoichi with the sole intent of skewering her right through dozens of times. These knives were much more durable than Haruko's previous bricks, and all attacked at once now, as opposed to a chaotic storm. As the knives were flying at Oreki, the sadistic woman rockets off the girder and attempts to slash downward at Oreki with her two larger knives in her hands. Strangely though, this woman was releasing a faint, misty-like fog out of her body, though anyone in it barely had their vision impeded. Just what was she up to?

The Blue Trickster looks up with a bit of surprise the floating rocks to then lock his eyes on the Earth Shaker. –You don’t have an ounce of finesse, don’t you?- The Azure Shinobi took a couple of steps circling a hole in the roof as he talked. –To think that after today the moment you do shit like this won’t be covered up brings joy to my heart, dumb flashy people should get the comeuppance.- For a moment he stood still and silent, realizing he spoke to much.
-Never mind what I just said, is not like you’re going to get out of this fight alive to tell anybody.- After that Aoba charged forward creating three extra clones that moved around the shadows towards Jose. All of them had even more explosive kunai, but this time around they threw them (or better put Aoba threw them through complex maneuvering and mesmerism from different positions) right under Jose, trying to force the Earth Shaker to lose his footing and fall down.
-Messa Miyata?- Callis asked as each second that passed he was pushed back. Something was wrong with Haruko, he could feel it, the crawling sensation of killing intent reaching his skin, a goosebumps similar to the one Oreki was generating. –Are….NGH! Are you okay?- The Beast Knight hoped the Battle Seamstress was alright, but this wasn’t the case. Her voice grew darker and more sinister, things were starting to look grim, as each word coming out her mouth made Callis shiver in fear and slowly crawl back to his beastly mindset, something he didn’t want to do and hopefully thanks to his ferrous discipline he could avoid. What he couldn’t avoid were the knives, at least if he didn’t move away from Oreki.
Gathering every bit of strength he could Callis pushed back against the Demented Kunoichi’s might, who luckily was too distracted by Haruko’s transformation to properly repel that sudden push. Still her smile didn’t diminish at all when the knives surrounded her, as Callis rolled backwards to distance himself from the soon to be scene of carnage, if Yamiko’s plans went smoothly. Is a shame that plans don’t always work as the originator of them intends. –uUuUuUuUu! sHiNy!- Oreki looked at the incoming knifes with shining eyes and a slanted neck. As they grew closer she exploded into action. To the naked eye she seemed to have become a firework of limbs, or a Hecatonquiros of ancient myth.
With uncanny speed and dexterity her long and inhumanly strong fingers caught the knives from the sides between her fingers and without delaying for a second she threw them back to the incoming Yamiko. –rIgHt bAcK aT yOu sIsTeR!- And prepared to receive the transfigured Haruko’s charge. Callis could only watch in awe the situation, trying to find a proper angle from where to attack, but his focus was divided between that and the reasons behind the Seamstress’s transformation.

Grinning right back at Oreki with a slasher smile, Yamiko opens her mouth to unleash a screeching, banshee-like scream that sends the incoming knives flying in random directions around Yamiko, the sadist not caring where they ended up. "Aw...didn't you know it's rude to return someone's gift?!" Summoning 10 more knives around Oreki, Yamiko holds out the two larger knives in her hands and begins to rapidly spin as she rockets towards Oreki. "Come on, catch me!" Yamiko taunts as her whirlwind of knives spins towards Oreki to crash into her and hopefully tear her to shreds. Around her though, the knives would spring up once Yamiko got close enough to stab her in the legs and chest area if Oreki decided to clash with Yamiko.
While she spun in the air, more of the light fog began to seep out, becoming much thicker now and spreading out from her spinning. While Jose and Aoba could still see the fight going on below, it was slowly becoming less clear. The mist now began to cover the ground, where Callis and Oreki were standing, and where Yamiko was about to come crashing down into. There was a certain uneasiness to this fog, as if it was specially designed for a malicious purpose that has yet to be revealed.

"What are you planning?!" demands Jose. The man's words alarm him. Yet he didn't have time to question him further as his foe begins his attack. He manipulates the floating rock to shift towards his position after receiving a few more blows from the explosive kunai. His armor's upper layers begin to peel off from the force of the explosions, but he manages to perform his platform movement technique to adjust his position. He jumps of a few broken piece of rock to another until his manages to get around to his opponent, or at least one of his clones.
He didn't have the time to waste with fakes, yet there was nothing he could do about them, at least for now, so he just decides on quickly going after all of them. Pushing off another rock, he charges through, expecting to smash the real with his body or traveling through if a fake. If a fake, the angle of his charge allows him to quickly move towards another body. This process will continue to repeat itself until he hits the real one. At least that appear to be the plan. While he continues to do the bull rush tactic, the floating rocks begin to create a heavy smoke screen of tiny pebbles all over the roof of the warehouse after smashing so many rocks using the force of his platform movement. The cloud of little rocks didn't disperse as he commands the tiny pieces to remain in the air and collect. Yet, even in this dense field of debris, he simply uses his ki senses to manipulate his armor suit towards his opponent. This field is so heavy at one point that if someone was to open their mouth, they would be swallow a big bowl of pebbles.

-Ugh!- Some of the deflected knives reached Callis who managed to parry a couple with his blade, but still got cut a couple of times, one on the hip and the other on the arm. Under normal circumstances he might have been able to avoid them entirely, but the Banshee Wail of Yamiko had overloaded his sensitive ears and stunned him, lowering his reaction time as the cry felt like daggers poking his inner ear. The Beast Knight didn’t know what to do, something was off with Haruko and his instincts told him that getting in between them wasn’t such a good idea. But as he tried to think what to do he noticed something by the corner of his eye and decided to take advantage of it. One of the Akunin Shinobi was dragging himself towards the exit… maybe it was time for Callis to use his training as City Guard to get some answers.
One of the knives was thrown back to Oreki, slicing her cheek. A stream of blood flowed down her skin and with a single finger, as the new knives started popping around her, she swiped the crimson liquid and then licked her finger, while changing the side of her slanted neck. Her eyes, inhumanly round right now, were fixated on Yamiko’s movements as her killer intent clashed mid-air with the transformed Haruko’s. When she saw the attack coming Oreki plunged her hands into the concrete under her, fingers piercing it like warm butter being slashed by a hot knife. The Deranged Kunoichi was executing a classical move. –eAt fLoOr wHiTeY!-
Oreki performed a quite violent Tatami Flip, lifting rectangles of concrente around her, forming a cube barrier. She timed it so it would pop us just as Yamiko was moving forward, not only aiming to defend herself but also to counter the flying charge. But this wasn’t the only thing she did, as the Tatami Flip was only a distraction, since she used the confusion to jump upwards and land head down on one of the girders, ready to launch herself steely fingers first towards Yamiko, hoping to capitalize in the possible effects of her attack so she could catch the Altered Seamstress off-guard so she could rip her apart with her claw like fingers.
- AURGH! Damnit!- Tricks and Illusions aren’t as effective as they could be in the base of area damage. Aoba, this time around was hit by Jose’s rush, a clean hit directly to the chest, launching him backwards as jet of blood gushed out his nose and his ribs felt a bit loose. He landed on the ruined roof panting as the pain on his face slowly crept its way to his brain. The Azure Shinobi stood up with wobbly legs, he felt as if a truck had crashed against him. But this wasn’t a mistake from his part, this was a ploy, as when he took the hit he pinpointed the worst parts of Jose’s armor, the ones with the deeper cracks and with the finesse only a master of the sleight of hand could have, added to the speed of his hands he tried to place several explosive kunai.
-You can find out about our plans in hell.- Aoba smiled, blood dripping from the side of his mouth, breathing heavy and jagged, but confident of his skills as with his Ki he activated the explosive tags in the kunai.
-So, the Ryume…. How does it look honey-bunny?- Akuto asked as they mobilized over the rooftops as the sun was starting its gradual dive into the horizon, bathing everything with orange light. The Akunin Leader was jumping gracefully, even while carrying a backpack full of equipment he managed to pull off superhuman jumps, he didn’t seem as skilled as Oreki, but he was leagues beyond Aoba. Besides him Beatrix levitated at the same speed he was moving, behind them a small troop of Akunin Lieutenants following their every move over the streets of Kyoto.
-According to our employer the Ryume is a spherical gem about the size of a football with a smooth crystalline exterior and a liquid interior.- The Telekinetic Powerhouse checked a tablet, that orbited around her, for more information. –Is blue colored and is a property of the… Yasu…Yasunori? That’s not right…- She made a small pause and forced her eyes as she tried to focus on reading the kanji. –Sorry, the Yasumori clan, they donated it to the Museum inside the castle about 10 years ago.-
-Yasumori… I think I heard that name before… I should ask Aoba, he surely knows more about it… he was the one who helped us get this gig.- Akuto commented as he jumped.
–Remember to thank him later darling, but for now let’s focus on the task at hand.- Beatrix added as they moved forward.

Yamiko frowns at the concrete cube hut Oreki had made for herself. Her speed was much too fast to stop now without crashing into the concrete cube, so there should have been a loud crash...but there wasn't. Instead, there was a loud note of an organ, followed by total silence. When Oreki lept off the girder, Yamiko was nowhere to be found...though her vile laughter echoed across the building. She was thoroughly enjoying this fight, and wanted to hurt Oreki more than ever. In the distance, a shadowy outline can be seen through the fog, continuing the laughter. "Now you see me..." Once again, a loud organ note rung across the room, and Yamiko's silhouette instantly disappeared. She then reappeared slightly closer to Oreki, the fog now becoming thicker as she approached. The sadistic woman's face had a wide grin on it as she continued to laugh, her killing intent growing more intense than ever.
"...now you don't~." And with those chilling words, an even louder organ note played, causing her to disappear once more. Strangely enough, this time Yamiko near instantly materialized behind Oreki, her speed almost akin to a teleport. With her knife already drawn, Yamiko attempts to use the element of surprise to slash at Oreki's neck, trying to decapitate the psychotic kunoichi.

A slight moment of satisfaction takes over as he lands a successful blow against his opponent, yet the feeling is quickly replace by shock and pain, especially pain. When the explosions went off, his armor was able to tank the initial blunt force for a few a split second before the deep cracks in the armor collapse. What results from the destruction of the earth armor was a lot of rocks, blood, and burnt skin escaping from Jose's body. The force launches him over the warehouse and towards the ground. As his body falls head first, he does not even attempt to open a single eye and look in the direction of his gloating opponent. Meanwhile, all above the warehouse, the heavy smoke of pebbles have collect all around his foe. As his body flops downwards, he raises his hands and clasps them together in order to direct greater control of the earth around his opponent.
Suddenly, with an immediate reaction, the tiny pebbles surrounding Aoba surge together in a floating maelstrom of earth. The tiny pebbles travel to swallow him and the little minerals of earth come together and give birth to an intense crushing force. The pieces of earth begin to merge and within microseconds, the rocks have transform into a singular boulder that continues to violently contrast and shrink as Jose commands the earth to become smaller and smaller. The boulder's inward crushing force drastically increase as it gets more compact. Eventually causing the boulder to move from the size of small house to the size of a car and will soon be large enough for only an average size person to fit inside, before finally ending up becoming smaller than a baseball. This technique was design with two possible goals. One, to pin down a person. Or two, to crush a person. Jose is currently aiming for the second possibility against Aoba.

-Don’t hit me!- The Akunin Shinobi whimpered as Callis picked him up from the floor and slammed him against the wall outside the warehouse. The Beast Knight disliked doing this, but even so he hated he could understand the usefulness of one of the skills he was taught during his time as a Guardsman. Interrogation… Callis grip went from human to inhuman in a split second putting pressure on the battered Akunin Shinobi, one of those he defeated, right over one of the wounds. The Beast Knight gritted his teeth with disgust, a sign the captured henchman took as anger rather than disapproval and made him whimper even more, almost reaching a cry. The Lost Knight placed the tip of his shining sword over the neck of his captive, who gulped nervously, his frantic eyes locked on Callis scowl, the blue eyes of the Knight almost burning while his face was hidden thanks to the shadows casted by the setting sun on the alley.
-I will not ask this twice…- Callis pushed down harder over the wound, his fang-like teeth growing ever near to the Akunin Soldier’s face. –What is your master’s plan? - The tip of the blade drew blood from the captive neck. –Speak soon or again you will see, for the last time in your life, how sharp is my sword.- The Beast Knight steely grip was drawing not only blood but also tears from the wounded ninja. –Understood?-
Oreki’s murderous fingers pierced through the concrete like cardboard being hit with a pickaxe. The holes created by her attack weren’t shaped like her fingers; they moved way deep and became larger, as if the energy carried on the hands exploded on contact. That’s the secret of her family’s deadly martial art, the ability to cause massive internal damage upon contact. –tHeRe yOu aRe!- The Demented Kunoichi quickly found out Yamiko’s location through her impressive enhanced senses.
–i’M gOiNg tO rIp yOu aPaRt!!!- She charged with muder on her eyes but as soon as she started to move the transfigured seamstress took advantage of her newfound boosted speed and counterattacked. A split second faster and Yamiko might have been able to end the fight, yet Oreki’s inhuman reflexes and grueling training overcame the hurdle of speed, but not without stumbling. The blade managed to draw a deep cut on the Kunoichi neck, blood spilling in a jet as Oreki jumped backwards.
The Demented Inugami Clanswoman rolled on the ground leaving a trail of blood splatter as she did. Her eyes lost their psychotic glow as she stopped. Her skin grew paler and her posture shifted, arms relaxed, eyes looking down (to the puddle of blood rapidly forming under her) She weakly extended her stained hands and looked at Yamiko, then her wound. With a choked voice, vanishing in the end she barely managed to say. –i dOn'T wAnt to die.- Without any distortion or killer intent before collapsing over her own spilled blood.
Jose’s technique closed in a smug Aoba who couldn’t react, still gloating about his strategy. The rocks closed in the Azure Shinobi with a nasty wet sound, the cries of bones breaking under pressure. But as this happened a shadow moved towards Jose. Aoba was on the ground level as well, about to slash the unsuspecting Earth Shaker from behind. Was this another close shave of the Blue Trickster? Was he about to decapitate the Geokinetic Brawler? The answer to those questions is quite simple
NO!
As his blade was about to dig into the flesh of Jose the Aoba attacking lost solidity and his ethereal blade phased through the Earth Shaker without doing any damage. The Bunshin kept walking before falling like a puppet that lost its strings. From the floor he only managed to whisper with a whimpering voice. –He promised me…. The Man in Black promised me… that I wouldn’t… dieeeee- His voice turned into a weak whistle before the Bunshin, the last piece of Aoba’s consciousness vanished.
Nijo Castle rested in the middle of Kyoto, a relic of a glorious past, when the city was the Capital of the Japanese Empire. This was Akuto and Beatrix target and from above a tall department building they looked down, checking their plans and the intel they received before starting the Heist. But as they checked their plans and maps a sound caught their attention, a click coming from behind them. Everybody, Akuto, his girlfriend, his soldiers all of them turned around trying to find the source of the noise.
Leaning against the building’s water tower a man on his mid 40’s, enveloped in the shadow of the tower, tried to no avail to lit up a hand rolled cigar with a lighter that wasn’t collaborating. He was dressed in a tuxedo, but his bow tie was untied resting under the lapel of the white shirt. Finally he threw the lighter away and lifted one finger creating a small dark purple flame that illuminated his freshly shaved face and rough yet handsome facial traits. The flame seemed to have a life of its own twisting and turning like a caged animal as it lit up the cigar.
The man puffed a cloud of smoke, looking down on the Akunin team. –Akuto Akunin I presume…-
The Renegade Shinobi took a moment to reply. He wanted to attack, but something around the man caused him repulsion, as if the sole sight of him was enough to make him sick. He felt compelled to reply. –Yes I’m Akuto Akunin… Who are you? That’s the thing I care about right now.- The man smirked fiercely. –Me? I’m your safety net kiddo… I would have been here earlier, but I was handling a situation in Europe…- For a single moment his face turned into a hateful grin with his eyes shining as black embers. –I swear to God those Trinity Gate assholes are useless.-
Akuto, not wanting to take the crap of the man quickly replied. –I told your employer that I don’t need your help so you can go back to wherever you were and stay there.- The Renegade Shinobi was feeling quite satisfied with himself as he replied with conviction and determination, regaining a bit of morale for his currently shit-on-their-pants scared troops. The Smoking Man smirked again, as if he was talking to a little boy. –You don’t need me? How so?- Akuto didn’t like his tone and snapped at him –Because my right hand man is taking care of the matter, get it? Now scram.-
-Aoba? That kid is dead… he put up a good fight, managed to get a hit or two, but he didn’t make the cut.- The man jumped down from the roof over the stairs and landed on the rooftop without making a sound. –And your sister is bleeding out in the floor of a Warehouse.- He traced his finger over his neck. –Nasty cut kiddo, a crimson smile on her neck.- The Renegade Shinobi was speechless, so were all his men and Beatrix, who usually didn’t lost her cool but the off putting aura around the man was also getting to her.
-But don’t worry kiddo, I’m here to cover their work load. Consider me an hypercompetent temp. –The man walked towards Akuto ignoring the other Akunin Shinobi and extended his hand. –My name is Ikari Fukushi.- A still confused Renegade extended his hand and grasped Ikari’s, who quickly pressed with crushing might getting Akuto to let out a cry of pain. Beatrix raised her hands ready to launch a blast of force but a single glare from the Hateful Enforcer overloaded her telepathic senses, like a raging fire burning inside her head. The Telekinetic Menace fell on her knees as Akuto struggled.
Ikari moved closer and whispered, charged with intense hatred. –I would stop wasting time and start with the mission, I’m here to take off some pressure from you, but I’m not your underling or your comrade, we just happen to be on the same “assignment” so you better get going.- Ikari released Akuto’s hand, who grabbed it in pain. -I already knocked the mundane security, you might encounter some resistance inside, but nothing you can’t handle. I’ll protect the main gate so you and your woman can do the job Kiddo.- Ikari walked towards the edge. He turned his face and demanded with a scornful tone –Get on with it.- Before jumping down.
