Electricity had no effect. Staying far away from him like this would be fruitless. But he is so powerful... And he turned that power towards one of Matt's companions. As much as he didn't like it, Matt stop flying. As his insectoid form started plummeting to the ground, he was engulfed by a green flash. When the light dissipated Matt's form was that of a yellow humanoid dinosaur in armor.
He crashed right in front of Dan, sending chunks of rock flying in all directions and raising up a curtain of dust. "I won't let you hurt the others anymore. If you want to attack someone, attack me! And then tell me where you're keeping your hostages." Three long claws protruded from the gauntlets on Matt's hands, three sharp claws that were aimed Dan's chest with a strong punch.

Sun let out an irritated spat through Arlana’s lips as they glided away from the thundering explosion of flames, lightning and spears. “After what we saw in the tunnels, I’d bet my piece of cake on our fridge that it didn’t do shit to him” Sun voice bubbled on their minds. It didn’t take long for the Avatar to prove him right. With his skin charred, burning hair and peeled of skin crowned with a sadistic grin the Avatar was starting to look more monster than man.
Their wings carried them further away from the center of the battle, as the strange dinosaur confronted their enemy. Arlana had caught the glimpse of a familiar silhouette through their hawk-ish eyes, streams of light flying around him as he took some distance. Scorching the earth beneath them, Arlana and Sun flew towards Smith. “Hey! Lazer suit!” Sun groaned, indolently flapping their golden wings to stay at the billionare´s speed. Hopefully, he would be able to recognize them despite their eccentric appearance “It’ll take a shit load of power to take that fucker down! Who the fuck is he and how the fuck do we take him down?!”

The damage to Dan's body was showing. His plam thrust shook the trees before him, but his recovery from it when he realized Aria wasn't hit was slow. First Aria's blazing bullet, then Smith's lasers struck her back, casting off sparks and driving him to his knees. He coughed when Aria's blast bored into his lung, leaving a burning hole on his back. He could barely feel surface damage anymore, but that he certainly felt. He had to fall on his back to avoid Matt's stab. A new emotion was entering the equation. Fear. Death was trying to blind him, clawing away the corners of his vision. He rolled back to gain distance and stood.
"Never..." He glared at Aria and Matt, eyes going back and forth. They were the ones going for the kill that could actually kill him right now. He built up his aura around him, flickering all over like it was trying to escape. Then, with a roar, he let it free. The peaks and spikes became blasts flying off in all directions, hundreds of little blasts to strike Haruko, Aria, Matt, and Smith, concentrating mostly on Aria. The little bursts all exploded on contact, whether with flesh or the ground. In the midst of the blasts, he rushed Matt, throwing a massive punch for his stomach. If it connected, it would certainly knock Matt back for half a mile. It wasn't far enough to stop Dan from following. If Matt was thrown, Dan was there first with his arm out to stop Matt's progress with painful abruptness. "So, you had some questions for me? You'll have time until the others catch up to us. That sound good?"

Before Smith could reply to Arlana, Dan counterattacks. From his perspective, the projectiles, as numerous as they are, were moving through mid-air in slow motion. Subconsciously, without any effort on his part, a series of imagery lines begins to extend from the tips of each peak and spikes, allowing Smith to witness with inhuman vision the trajectory of Dan's assault. His eyes swiftly scan the area from left to right as they memorizes everything in front of him. He adjusts his body in such a way to decrease the probability of being impaled to nearly zero, while also aiming his pistols. Though he manages to move his body out of the way of the incoming projectiles, he couldn't move nearly fast enough to return fire at Dan, who's movements are far too quick to properly react to. Yet, that wasn't Smith's immediate goal here. He swings his arms around as he attempts to shot a series of lasers at the projectiles going towards his other comrades, however he makes a grave mistake. The body position he decided on prevent the tiny energy blasts from making direct contact with him, but did nothing to prevent a few blasts form hitting the remnants of the grayish vines, that had attacked the group eariler, surrounding him.
Before he could pull the trigger, a small barrage of explosions overwhelm him, launching his body though the air. While daze, he is struck by even more energy blasts and explosions. A smoke cloud soon completely covers Smith's body, and his surrounding area, as the noise of the explosions die down with his body laying still on the ground.

Direct hit! Aria watched as her bullet entered Dan's body and seemed to make the large beast reel back in either surprise or fright. Regardless, the maelstrom that followed was a sight to behold. Aria quickly blinked around the battlefield to avoid the missiles coming for her, utilizing her plant powers to summon as many vines as possible to act as barriers between herself and the energy blasts. A few of the resulting explosions did manage to catch up to her though, encompassing the right half of her body and sending her right leg into pieces. Haruko had less energy blasts coming toward her, so she quickly put the speed spotlight on herself and skated near the edge of the cliff, trying to get the blasts to hit the cliffside and blow up. A trail of explosions erupt from this path as Haruko summoned as many neon blocks as she could to block the incoming missiles. However, a few of the last ones managed to fly above and shoot downward, crashing against Haruko's back and sending the pink-haired idol magical girl crashing into the ground below. Her body was unmoving, much like Smith's currently, with a large charred indent in her back from where the missile hit.
Strangely though...the body began to twitch slightly. Followed by a soft chuckling that began to increase in volume...her voice now slightly higher pitch than before. Haruko's body then leaped up onto her feet and looked around the battlefield with a large grin on her face. "Hm...what a lovely lake. Looks like someone is a pinkaphiiiiile!" Sang Haruko as she began seeping a strange white fog from her body. A thick aura of killing intent could be felt coming from Haruko's body as her body began to change. Her outfit changed from a long black skirt into a deep red miniskirt with black lace at the bottom. Her shirt became a dark grey sleeveless shirt that showed off her shoulders, with two long black detached sleeves on her arms that covered her hands completely. Haruko's hair grew much longer as well, reaching down to her ankles as it changed from the shade of pink to a dark silver color. The figure that now stood where Haruko was looked at the others with her now-red eyes and an expression of excitement.
"Aaaaaaaah...feels nice to be out of there! Soooooooooo...here is what I picked up so far." Her voice was slightly higher pitch than Haruko's gem girl voice, and had a noticeable amount of excitement in it. "The totally manly monkey wants to bang anything that's pink, so he fucked a lake and gave it hundreds of ugly children. And now he wants you all to satisfy his masochistic drive before he tries to fuck the other person in this body. Sorry monkey, I've been inside this girl much longer than you ever could!" The new girl said with a grin on her face. She watched as Aria regrew her leg through a network of vines, Aria glaring at the newcomer.
"Oooooooh...I know you! You're this girl's sister! I gotta know; could a bee get you pregnant with a watermelon? You're regrowing your leg like a plant!" The creepy newcomer let out a cackle at her own joke. Aria simply stared at her and turned toward Smith. "If you want to have fun, go attack the 'monkey' you have been insulting. I am sure he'll love it." Aria stated as she loaded a healing shot into her pistols, firing them down at Smith where they explode into a light shower of white magical energy that would quickly begin to repair Smith's damaged cells. The unbalanced girl looked on with boredom...nobody here seemed fun. "Kaaaaaaaaaay! I'll come back with his kidneys and part of a liver! Probably won't be his, though!" Yamiko cackled as she disappeared into a dense fog, the cloud rapidly heading toward Dan even if he missed Matt.

Matt put his arms in front of his stomach to block the blow, but he was still blown away. This man, this creature in the form of a man, was ungodly powerful. Matt flew almost a kilometer in a matter of seconds, before smacking back first into Dan's hand. He felt as though he just got slammed into a boulder and he was thankful for the shield on his back that helped absorb some damage.
Falling to his knees, Matt wheezed. "Yes..." He muttered between shallow breaths. "Questions... Where..." He struggled to get to his feet. "Where are the women? The 'mates' you have. They shouldn't be part of whatever hell you're raising." He turned to face Dan, although he wasn't sure how much that would help. A couple more punches like that, be they from the front or the back, and this form was completely done for.

The answer they were waiting for never got to leave Smith’s lips as the Avatar unleashed dreadful bursting spears of pure energy in a wave of destruction. The fusion’s sharp features contorted in surprise as Sun took over, reacting by reflex. With a controlled explosion just in front of them, Sun managed to block the first blasts and propelled himself away and up to avoid the next attacks. The winged silhouette went into a mad and spiraling trajectory as the spikes of the Avatar’s energy clashed with each other behind them, missing them by the thickness of a feather.
As their flight curved and twisted they ended up plummeting to the ground, explosions left and right. Just when they thought they were safe, the alien terrain below brightened with an uncountable number of spikes shooting right at them. “Shit! No time to dodge!” Sun grunted as their golden wings closed around them and were covered by a thick and shinning layer of flames. The stubborn spikes finally found their target and exploded in a sphere of energy and golden flames, searing the earth around it and lifting a cloud of smoke and dust. Wings flapped and as the smoke began to clear, it revealed the silhouette of the fusion. Kneeling on a small crater with one claw pressed against their heavily bleeding shoulder and covered in a thousand small cuts, Arlana and Sun managed to survive the blast of the Avatar’s rage.
“Fuck, that wasn’t good” Sun muttered as their head turned to the unconscious and beaten body of Smith. “Well, I guess you won’t be telling us anything, you fucker” The tarot card groaned as he felt the essence of his master shaking with pity inside of them. “Don’t be a dick, birdbrain” Arlana muttered through their mouths. “Oh, come on! I know you’ll want to help him but that doesn’t mean I´ll like it” the bird replied, spitting golden flames tainted by crimson blood.
Luckily for them, one of the other idiots crazy enough to fight the Avatar closed their discussion for them. The blonde, serious looking woman shot something towards the smoking body of the billionaire that, beneath Arlana’s astonished gaze, started to slowly seal his wounds. They eyes shifted to the creepy newcomer as she disappeared into a cloud of fog leaving cryptic words floating behind them. “This day keeps getting fucking weirder” Arlana cursed, shaking her head.
“Hey, blondie!” Sun roared to Aria “That fucker over there has something against you, right? You better get the fuck...” Arlana suddenly took over and interrupted her friend, her kind blue eyes shining through their eagle eyes “Just be careful!” she said as nicely as she could. “Pff, whatever” Sun shrugged as he turned towards the Avatar “This is gonna get awesome anyways, at least she’ll see it” he muttered through clenched lips.
“Lana, I’m taking over” his words resounded inside their minds “I…”. “Yeah, I know what you wanna do” She interrupted with a hint of disappointment “I can read your mind from here, you chicken-brain, and I know… I can’t really do anything in this fight...” Sun felt Arlana shifting awkwardly in their minds. “You’re not useless, you fucking fatass!” The bird angrily replied “Those people in the dinner would be alive if it weren’t for you! I wouldn’t be alive if it weren’t for you! You’re the sole reason we’re this close to grasping that card!” As the words hit Arlana, Sun could feel her joy and hope as bubbles raising from the depths. “You brought us here, now I’ll seal the deal! Besides…” he muttered out loud as he clenched their golden and feathered fist in front of their face “we are one, remember?”
“Pfft…” Arlana snorted and chuckled “you’re so corny!” As her chuckle became a resounding burst of laughter that echoed in their minds, clear as crystal, Sun blushed and angrily snapped back “Go fuck yourself, fatass!” but his words got lost on Arlana’s chuckle. “Hahahaha… oh man…” her laughter slowly died down and a fierce flame burned inside their bodies as Arlana’s resolve grew “But… you’re fucking right, bird brain! Let’s go and get what’s ours!” A smile crept through their lips “Let’s fuck him up!” They roared in unison. Sun took a deep breath and opened their palm “I haven’t done this in a while” he said “this might hurt”. Slowly, the golden flames that jumped through their body like miniature solar flares converged on their palm, creating a bright golden flame. The feathers on their arm bristle, releasing waves of heat as the magic cruised towards the palm, evaporating blood and cauterizing wounds. Even one of their wings decayed and disappeared as all their power focused on their hand. The flame grew brighter and brighter until it became a blinding golden beacon which furiously roared in their palm.
Their claw closed around the flame with a painful scorching sound. Grunting, Sun clenched their fist and a mighty burst of golden flames enveloped their arm, shoulder and their only wing left roared as it grew wildly. The ground beneath them burned at the mere proximity to their scorching flames. The wing flapped once and they suddenly disappeared, shooting through Yamiko’s fog and piercing the tense air of the battlefield as a golden arrow. In an instant, their incandescent form appeared behind the Avatar’s back, a few feet above the ground.
“DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!” Their voices roared as Sun threw a devastating hook to the Avatar’s face, with a fist hot enough to burn their own body that carried what was left of their power behind it.

Dan stopped for a second to take in the solitude. He could ignore Matt for a second to enjoy the rolling hills, dotted with little fern like pink plants. Little lines of yellow slowly twirled up into the air in the wind. Then Matt talked and he could be ignored no longer. "Don't act like they're victims. They chose this cult of their own free will, knowing what it was meant to bring. They knew I was the harbinger of the end of a world run with any compassion or altruism. They worship a being dedicated to bringing any sapient species soft enough to care for the weak down to fighting for every scrap of food tooth and claw all for his warped idea of natural selection. They want to do its bidding and pledge their bodies to doing it." He spoke with naked hatred, throwing a kick for Matt's face, followed up by a few stomps to his ribs. "Nothing personal, it's just that I really hate you right now." He said as he reached his hands out to grab Matt's head and crush it.
Before he could complete this task, Yamiko's cold fog rolled in. He stood up at once and glanced around, but he wasn't ready for Arlana appearing in a beam of light behind him. He spun around just in time to meet the fist right to his face. His eyes crossed when it smashed his nose and Arlana was left with blood on her knuckles as he went flying back. He slammed right into the side of the hill, crumbling half of it upon himself. Almost immediately the dirt shifted as he pushed himself up.
"Hahahahaha! Do that again!" Blood streamed down his chin from his utterly crushed face. It wasn't clear if he was more burned now, given how bad it was before. "We're so close! So close! There's so much emotion, can't you feel it!?" He approached, glowering at his foe. His aura flared, making ever leaf flutter in the resultant wind. He moved slower now, limping. His injuries were finally catching up to him, but it might be too late for Matt and Arlana.

Smith slowly opens his eyes as he could feel his body repairing itself. Though he is not sure what exactly is healing him, he assumes that it is most likely the president's healing rounds. He attempts to move his body, but nothing happens. He takes a moment to calculate the amount of time it will take him to recovery enough to rejoin the fight, which he estimates it to be roughly a few minutes. Without being able to move, he quickly begins to issue mental commands to his gadgets. A few seconds later, and a small orb like object gently flies out of his jacket. The small objects is nothing more than a flying camera drone. He activates another command, and soon enough a small square hologram pops right in front of his eye, allowing him to see from the perspective of the orb. As his body is getting fixed, he will simply use this thing to watch the current situation. The tiny machine swiftly elevates and travels over the battlefield in the direction of Dan and the others. For now, he will do his best to observe the fight, and if he should see any opportunities, or can figure out a useful weakness to explore, he will inform Aria via his messaging her with his communications device.

Their fist connected with the most satisfying of cracks, knuckles stained with the crimson and charred blood of the Avatar… and their own. The powerful impact seemed to shatter their bones like twigs and small fragments of white peaked through the golden feathers. A groan of pain escaped their lips as they fell to one knee, grabbing the wrist of their broken and bloodied hand as a plumes of evaporating blood and sweat raised and joined with Yamiko’s mist. “How did you like that, you weird fucking asshole?!” Despite the pain, a fierce and victorious grin shone through their grimace. It took only a couple of moments for the Avatar to shatter their brief glimpse of victory.
His steps echoed in the tense silence and his aura glimmered through the thick fog, his tenebrous presence fell like a hammer to their gut. “You mother fucker, can’t you just die?” Sun muttered, in a vain attempt to boast as the smile faded away from their lips. The nightmarish face of the Avatar, beaten to a pulp, poked through the fog and fixed his eyes on them. The feverish excitement in his words send a chill down their spin.
In that moment, Sun knew there was nothing they could do against that monster. That last attack carried what was left of their strength and now, bloodied and bruised, their form seemed to shift and blink. The golden feathers lost their glow and the flames flared weakly, revealing for instants the body of the scared red haired girl beneath them. “Fucking shit, this is bad” Sun scanned around, looking for a way to get Arlana as far away from that fucker as he could, but their legs didn’t answer. “Lana, we need to get the fuck out of here!” he snapped and Arlana’s voice replied weakly from within. “But we’re so close! We can’t escape from this, you told me that! We have to stop this fucker!”
That moment of indecision lasted for a mere second, but it was a second they didn’t have, as the Avatar grew closer and closer spouting cryptic words. This time, it was Arlana’s voice which escaped their lips. “Close to what?!” she asked their foe, holding to Sun’s courage to stop herself from trembling “ What do you want with all this?!”

"That's not what my information said. This is a doomsday cult. You don't just join those unless something manipulated you into doing it. I can't believe it was completely free will, without any magic brainwashing from this supreme being you mention. At least not until I see for myself that they came here because they normally wante-" Matt was interrupted by Dan's kick. Before he could even realize what was happening, Dan was stomping his ribs. Greyton's metal armor was bent, even shattered in some places, the jagged edges piercing his thick yellow hide and going into his lungs.
A lot of blood came pouring out of his wounds. Worse yet, a lot of blood went into his lungs. Matt knew what was going to happen next. He experienced it once before. His humanoid dragon form exploded into green sparks. Greyton was dead. In his place stood an unharmed Matt, or at least physically unharmed. He wanted to grieve the death of his form, but he couldn't. Not now. There was no time. He knew one form that could probably stand up to Dan. The digivice on his waist began glowing green as he initiated a transformation.

Aria continued to regrow her destroyed limb as she watched Arlana seemingly talk to herself. What was going on here? Could it be that she had another intelligence living inside her head...or was she just mentally unstable? Regardless, Aria replaced the spent healing cartridges with fireball ones. The psychotic newcomer was only going to make this job more difficult. The HWIC president quickly finishes her healing and bolts toward the other fighters in a bright flash of light, firing a healing round straight at Arlana.
At the battlefield, Arlana shot through Yamiko's fog with her attack and annihilated Dan's face, though even that didn't seem to be enough. The fog soon dispersed back into the normal position and, a strange ominous ringing sound coming from seemingly everywhere beginning to sound. The ringing soon stopped as a voice appeared right next to Dan's right ear. "Emotion...? So this IS how you get off!" Suddenly, a long blood-red butcher knife is swung directly at Dan's right kidney, the attacker dispersing the fog slightly so the group could see each other better as she appeared several feet away from the attack. Yamiko held a long machete-like blade in her right hand, also blood red and seemingly hollow like Haruko's neon pink constructs from earlier. The crazed singer pointed the red machete directly at Arlana.
"I did not appreciate your little entrance, fire bitch. Buuuuuut...I have more interesting people to deal with right now!" Turning her head toward Dan, Yamiko tilted her head slightly to the right, her extraordinarily long silver hair hanging downward. "So I was right! You are a masochistic little whore who wants to get your rocks off on us!" The psychotic singer laughed for a few seconds, looking back at Dan. "Well you have certainly ruined my fun today. Do you think it is fun carving up a masochist?! No! I want screaming! I want hopelessness! I want blood!" Yamiko's tone seemed to get more excited as she went down the list. "But now you have gone and taken out anyone interesting! Soooooo..." Poking her left index finger into her cheek, Yamiko makes a pouting face. "I have to play with you."
And with that, a loud organ note rings out through the fog as Yamiko reappears behind Dan and swings her machete for the back of his left calf, a wide smile could be seen on her face.

"I'll explain if you survive!" Dan yelled to Arlana as he approached. His eyes were drawn away from her by a green glow from Matt's waist. In a rush of wind, he was before Matt, fist flicking out for the device. Almost before it hit, a dull red glow became visible under his skin. He looked up to see the one who had thrown the knife and let out a gurgling hiss. His vision was beginning to lose focus, darkness eating at the edges. Matt seemed to vanish when he closed his eyes, but he wasn't sure that wasn't just his opponent standing where he could no longer see. "I'm afraid you will only find two of those here." Dan growled at Yamiko, stepping out of the way of her swing and throwing his elbow for her head. It wasn't clear if he was holding back or just losing his strength, because it barely made a shockwave as it traveled and was merely concussion bringing rather than lethal.
Even as weakened as it was, the strike seemed to throw him off balance, making him drop to one knee. He barely even looked human at this point, denuded of clothing and almost all of his skin, face a bloody, seared mess with a flattened nose, wounds open across all his form. Still, his eyes danced with an increasingly demented light as he rose. "Everything... you've got." He hissed, fixing his eyes on Arlana's, singling her out as the strongest one here. He exploded forth, directly at her like a charging rhino. His aura whirled to his fist, increasing the strength to which it would strike to an incalculable degree, but at the cost of leaving his body bare of any protection. Gambling it all. Live or die, free or enslaved? He would see.
"You have far too much sympathy for the people who ally themselves with the man destroying the world so they can be in charge when it all comes down. Of course, that's just what they were told would happen. The reality is... well, you'll see." A raw red beast held Matt in its talons, gripped tight in fingers longer than his body. They soared on vast wings that appeared to be formed from what were normally ribs, stretched out far to the sides to catch every draft. It was a human mouth that spoke, mounted on the abdomen of the flier. All that was at the front of the body was a single eye, set deep in a bony socket.
Over the pink landscape they flew until they reached a cave in a cliff face, exactly opposite of where the heroes had entered the sinkhole. "Have fun in here! Try not to fall off a cliff or something! Don't worry, it's otherwise pretty safe!" The horrible creature squawked, dumping Matt unceremoniously on the cave floor. "Now if you don't mind, I have a man to break. Then you and him will have something in common!" With a raucous cacophony of dreadful laughter, the creature jumped out of the cave and went rushing back towards the fight.

Matt barely even noticed Dan appearing before him and he didn't even register the punch until everything was already over. By the time he knew he was about to die, he was already floating in the air with only a slight numbness on his waist. He would've assumed he was flying into heaven were he not in the over-sized talons of a red monster bird that was talking to him. He wasn't sure what exactly was happening even when they landed.
What he did understand was that this demon bird saved his life and it wanted him to investigate this cave. The women were most likely in there. Perhaps he was still in shock from almost dying or perhaps everything was simply moving too fast for his mortal brain to keep track of everything, but as he ventured into the cave he failed to notice that his transformation was never completed.

Their blood froze in their veins as the Avatar’s insane gaze fell upon them, focusing on their battered body with the crazed light of a beast shinning in his eyes. Panting furiously out of exhaustion and fear, Arlana felt her mind suddenly yanked backwards as Sun desperately took control of their body. The Card fought against their trembling legs, looking for a way out of that mess they were in, but that was a lost battle. Their limit grew close, as Arlana’s energy quickly diminished after burning everything they had on that last attack. Their form simply refused to move as that strange blinks between their bodies became faster. “Damn it all!” Sun muttered. The ground around their monstrous opponent shattered as the Avatar charged at full speed towards them, fast enough that even their hawk-like eyes couldn’t follow, as a messenger of their doom.
Something hit their form in the side and an almost divine warmness spread through their stinging wounds as Aria’s bullet did its work, healing their damaged cells. Instantly, Sun sprang into action as he felt the sudden burst of energy. The flames that surrounded their body grew weaker as a wave of golden fire extended around them, rising the temperature a couple of degrees, barely noticeable in the apex of the battle. Sun closed their eyes, focusing on the twisting currents of air that cruised through the heat, as that strange aura he emanated wrapped around the surrounding forms. Their eyes couldn’t catch a glimpse of the monster they were fighting but if he could sense it before it was too late…
The air shook and their flames danced when a bulleting form pierced through the air, straight towards them. Their eyes busted open and glared at the hulking form in front of them as Sun closed their arms in an X at their chest and their only wing closed above them, as an extra layer of protection. It took only an instant for the Avatar to reach them, an instant Sun hoped would be enough to defend their selves.
It wasn’t enough.
The Avatar’s fist went through their wing like butter, all its inhuman strength behind it. Sun and Arlana were violently thrown back as the punch connected with their arms, cracks and snaps thundered through their bones. Their wing was teared right off, breaking into a hundred flaming feathers, and their body cut through the air and smashed against one of the alien trees that had survived the battle. Arlana felt her mind splitting and Sun painful mental scream, as their connection was violently ripped apart. Their head hit the tree an instant after their body and shimmered, leaving a brief after image of the powerful form those two friends had managed to achieve. And suddenly, where once was one, they were two.
Arlana’s limp body fell into the dirt and the pile of flames that was Sun floated slowly down, like a forgotten feather. Blood pouring out the back of her head, Arlana’s dizzy eyes caught a glimpse of her friend as it slowly turned into a card once again. A broken arm crawled weakly through the dirt in a vain attempt to reach the fading bird, only a couple of inches away. “S…Sun…” Arlana whispered weakly, her voice crossed by pain. Unable to move and slowly healing by Aria’s bullets, the girl laid there as frustrating tears burned her cheeks and fell to the scorched ground.

The tiny orb shape machine survey the area and convey to the Smith the current situation, as one comrade after another is beaten by Dan. The young billionaire typically goes into battle with the mindset of never underestimating his opponent. Yet he never imagined that Dan would be this dominating of a foe. At this rate, the group may be force to retreat and request assistance from more HWIC members and other hidden world organizations/individuals. However, for now he has no choice but to observe. The small drone zooms in on the Avatar's body and scans for any apparent weaknesses that could be exploited. Yet, besides a couple of notable burn marks and a few surface wounds, there isn't really anything hinting at a weakness waiting to be exploited. Yet, with his last blow, Smith realizes that the seemly invincible Dan is beginning to weaken.

Yamiko grinned as her first attack struck Dan, though frowned in anger as her machete swing missed. She quickly saw Dan's counterattack and made a small dark red box in front of her head to block the blow, which shattered when Dan struck it and sent Yamiko flying backwards. She quickly recovers and lands on a nearby rock, staring straight through the fog to where Dan was standing. Suddenly, the fog began to grow thicker...condensing around the area until it was near impossible to see one's own hand a foot away from their face. The air somehow felt heavier...as if the someone had placed a small weight on each of their lungs. A menacing song begins to echo throughout the fog.
Yamiko's voice boomed out of the fog, as if it were coming from everywhere at once. "Now look here you little shit." As she finished her sentence, a small red knife appears out of the fog and tries to embed itself in Dan's left shoulder. "Ever since I got here, nobody has bothered to give two fucks about my presence! I appear; nobody responds! I fly over here, that bitch flies through me!" Another red knife appears and nearly stabs Arlana's head, but misses by several inches deliberately. "But you...oh, you committed the greatest insult, pinkie boy." Five more knives appear and shoot down at Dan's chest in a star formation. "You decided to avoid my machete...and try to knock me away like some FLY while you went after that other BITCH!" Yamiko's voice emphasised the 'fly' and 'bitch' words deliberately, showing clear rage in her voice. "Well I'm not taking this bullshit, lake fucker! As the world's greatest performer...I will give you a show you can't ignore." And with that, a ring of 10 knives appear above Dan and all fly toward him. "Flowering...Massacre!" A secondary ring of 20 knives appears around that, and flies down at him as well. Knives appeared to come for virtually everywhere in the fog as the storm of knives try to stab Dan from all angles. Seemingly hundreds of knives began flying around the battlefield, all aimed at Dan like a blood red tornado. After several seconds that must have felt like an eternity, a loud honking sound came from above.
While still nearly invisible through the fog still, Yamiko rapidly descended down onto the battlefield on top of a deep red construct of a truck with a giant spike on the grill that jutted out like a spear. Yamiko cackled as she rode the construct straight down, aimed at Dan's back. "The grand...finaleeeeeeeeeeeee!" Yamiko yelled as she leaped off the massive falling truck a split second before it crashed into the ground, landing several feet away and making a sideways 'V' shape with two of her fingers and placing it in front of her right eye, then winked akin to a cutesy idol singer. Large amounts of the fog was displaced by the impact, letting the others see vaguely what the result of the 'performance' was. Aria had stayed back from the maniacal performer's attack storm and stood near Arlana, firing another healing round at her and one at Sun as well. "I'd advise you both stay down for now...I'll deal with her." Aria told them both, loading her pistols with gust rounds that would push away this fog and let Aria move in to attack Yamiko if she managed to defeat Dan. Perhaps it would be more wise to let the two monsters fight it out.

Dan felt his fist go through the wing like it was tissue. Blazing feathers flew in his vision, feeling like slow motion as his fist traveled on to crush the tiny body behind. His eyes widened and he heard every pop and crack when she few flying. Time flowed again when she slammed into the trunk and he looked down at his body. She hadn't retaliated. Just tried to defend herself. And still she was crushed. He looked back up at her, lying there. "No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no nononononononononononononononononononononono!"
He yelled. "You were supposed to attack! Now..." He glanced at the two still standing. "There's no hope, is there?" He jerked involuntarily, dropping to a stoop. His body was barely holding together, and his fading willpower was denying him the ability to push it. He jerked again when the knife found his shoulder. Slowly he turned to face Yamiko, looking at the appearing knives with a dull expression. "I appreciate it, but the moment has passed. I have tried to free myself with despair, but it doesn't work."
He moved in a nightmare of movement to deflect as many knives as he could, but it was clear he was vastly weaker than before. Many found their way into his body, embedding themselves to various depths or just glancing off, leaving long cuts. He snarled, and unleashed another of his shockwaves. Although it didn't have the raw force of his previous attempts, it was still like a bomb going off. The knives scattered in the face of the blast along with the fog, raining down across the field. He gasped out a deep breath, feeling the deep sting of Aria's earlier shot to his lung.
The honk that rang out behind him forced his head to turn. He spun to face the threat when he saw what was barrelling down on him, but it was too late. He vanished under the massive vehicle, gone in a thunderous smash and a wave of earth kicked up. When the construct vanished, hey lay in a shallow crater, utterly still, face down in the dirt. Yamiko did her charming victory sign uninterrupted. The only sign of what to come was Dan's finger twitching. The silence was broken by a single pink beam humming out right for Yamiko's lower spine. If it struck, it would plow right through. "Not fatal... not right away. Not permanent... with magic. But... keeps her out. Makes this you and me." Dan could barely lift his hand, but he slowly did, aiming a finger for Aria. He fired off a single beam, aimed for one of Aria's hands. "Finish the job, Miss Miyata. Maybe despair will do after all."
Matt would find an increasingly alien environment within the cave. At first it was just the pink moss coating every surface, soft and springy to the step and easy to climb with due to the way it gently clung to whatever touched it with a soft whisper. It was barely a moment before he was past the soft light of the entrance and entered the darkness of the cave. Somehow, everything was still visible to Matt, but disconnected from him, like he was just looking at the map in a video game to navigate.
Overhead began to swim thrashing ribbons, all spinning with colors that could only be imagined. Just looking at them seemed to be unwise, bringing a sharp headache, but touching them was even worse as he would learn. One brushed his arm as he climbed down and there was a flash of something. A memory that was not his own entered his mind, a memory of being a little girl on her first day of school, but in exchange something was gone. He couldn't remember what, but it didn't seem to be important. Just a random memory.
Further in, liquid ran up the walls in amber streams, populated by propeller-driven things that seemed to be pointlessly fighting the current. He couldn't see the beginning or end. Further in, the walls began to move and he didn't know why. Further in, something seemed to move within the walls and he didn't want to know what. Further in, there were eyes in the moss and looking at them made Matt taste blueberries and mustard. Further in, there were malformed copies of himself growing from the rocks and all of them spoke, saying nothing. Further in, they were perfect copies in various stages of his life and wearing many things, but they still spoke nonsense of worms and tongues. One naked Matt sat above his path, looking down. He opened his moth and out came no sound, but still Matt heard words. "The birth of worlds, the birth of words, the birth of worms. Come, we are all open in mind and body." He dug his fingers into his flesh and tore in half with a pop. There was nothing inside but worms. They screamed.
Further in, Matt came to rest at the very bottom. The amber streams ran at his feet and the propellers spun within. The eyes watched him walk. Before him was a massive cavern, an open room filled with creatures. They were all enormously round, skin stretched taught over their bellies. Four scrawny limbs didn't look like enough to hold them up, but they did stand, immobile as they seemed to be. They were covered in fur of every color, a living rainbow, ranging from thin to thick, all over their bodies, with a mane that was off a different color than their body hair. Nearly every second, their vast stomachs opened up as if they had a seam and a screeching beast fell out, resembling the smaller creatures at the diner but even smaller. Their glassy eyes on still all-too-human faces didn't seem to focus on anything, just roaming around.
Something peeped from behind Matt. When he turned, he would see the most normal and yet most bizarre thing so far. A small child hovered in the air, apparently with the help of the fluffy pink wings sprouting from his back. He appeared to be a normal child of about 7 besides the strange features tacked on. Out of his dim pink hair came two long ears like a rabbit's and from the small of his back flicked a long, tufted tail. He was naked and filthy, constantly mouthing words without sound. At his side were suddenly the Avatar Matt had recently been battling in the full glory of his armor and Abija. In the blink of an eye the armor was gone and they were locked in intercourse. The child pointed at himself and the two vanished. The cavern lit up with the dim light of the opening cavern and the kid pointed to it. He stared into Matt's eyes, searching for understanding.

Matt was uneasy during the entire trip. The further he went, the more it felt like his guts were getting tied into knots. Soon enough, all he wanted to do was turn around and run like he was chased by the devil himself. Perhaps that would even be a less troubling scenario. Nothing here felt natural. Matt couldn't take it.
But he had to. Think chivalrous thoughts. You're here to help people. You have to help them. You have to help them. You have to h-.
A peep behind him sent shivers down his spine and he quickly turned around. He found himself face to face with... With a child? A surprisingly normal child, considering what he saw so far. But when he noticed Dan and woman next to him, Matt went completely pale. Even when Dan was surrounded, he managed to kill Matt's form. And now it was Matt who was outnumbered.
Before he could even scream in freight, the two adults changed and it became clear that they weren't really there. Then they disappeared completely, leaving only the strange kid. Matt thought he got the message. "You're... That man's kid? But... You don't look like what I expected." Indeed, what he imagined from the message was monsters not unlike the ones deeper in the cave or the things they encountered while coming here. "And you want me to go back? I can't do that, I'm sorry."

Smith could barely register what is going on with the heavy fog through the eye of his drone. It wasn't unit the the massive trunk materialize out of nowhere did he get an idea what is going on here. A few seconds pass after examining Dan's current body language. it seems that the consist pressure from everyone's attacks have greatly tax the man. Without a doubt in his mind, he is confident that Aria will be able to finish this fight, unless some unforeseeable factor suddenly enters the equation. And should that happen, he will need to be ready to act. His body is already repaired enough by the president's healing shot to no longer be in fatal condition, and with the next couple of minutes he should be in somewhat fighting condition to be able to help out.
