“Gaaaaaaah!” Erin blurted out when Osechi came out of nowhere and hugged her from behind. Caroline let out a muffled laugh when she saw the situation both were in. Erin stood still, waiting for Osechi to let go. “Uh...could you uh…” Erin poked at Osechi’s hands, trying to indicate she wanted to be released. Why was everyone hugging her today?! She didn’t know any of these people!
Meanwhile, Caroline looked on with confusion at the healed wound on Dan. “Huuuuuh?” She asked with interest. “Explosive healing? That seems like the opposite of what you’d want, doesn’t it? Like fire shooting out of an air conditioner if you use it too much?” Caroline joked. As the team descended, Caroline noted Arthur’s shadow boxing, followed by Dan’s and his rapid foot tapping. The snake doll put up her own fists and punched at the air toward Dan.
“Is this what the cool guys are into these days? Punching the air? I suppose it is quite a workout.” Caroline teased, watching the scene between the gingerbread knight and Dan. Once Arthur began to reply to the knight’s request, Caroline slid next to Dan and began tapping her own foot rhythmically.
“Soooo, you seem to have something on your mind. Care to share with the classmate? Or should I leave you be and try to get our wonderful chef to direct those hugs to someone who’d appreciate it more?” She asked, motioning toward Dan, then herself, as if she was dropping hints toward the martial artist. Meanwhile, Erin slowly began to squirm in Osechi’s grasp, not sure how to break this situation.

"A duel?" Gan replied looking at her from the back, it was at that moment that they noticed the threat by the shore.
"Alright, let's have some fun"- Gan said as he stood up on the Spinosaur and unholstered both of his Kimberly classic elite. He began to take aim towards the leader
"When in battle, always go for the leader"- He said as he charged his weapons with Ki, this time the shot was taking a lot longer to fire, as Gan was pumping more and more Ki into the bullets.
"Cover your ears, Jun"- He said before releasing one shot from each of his guns, the bullets now resembled something more akin to a 50. caliber, and packed even more kinetic energy than that, the recoil sending Gan's arms upwards and slightly moving him out of balance. such a refined and powerful ki shape took some serious stamina, so even Gan slightly began to sweat after that one.
Osechi moved closer towards the Gingerbread knight without letting go of Erin, it was almost as if she were her plushie now.
"So silly, I would never attempt to punch air y'know?" -She told the knight in a poor attempt to appear more mature. As she looked back at Erin, Osechi suddenly noticed that perhaps she wasn't having such a good time after all
"Oh, Sorry! I...totally forgot! Are we there yet?!"

This looks bad - The ex-paladin commented, these animals were too big for them, and the goblings were already attacking. Summon a barrier now! - The angel responded as he jumped from the dinosaur and opened his wings in the air as he flew, he fluttered strongly, causing his feathers to be transformed back into daggers to counter the bolts. Vladimir by other hand summoned big pentagrams to protect the three dinosaurs and their mounts - The barrier will reflect the enemy's attacts! But you guys can trasspass it! - He told his allies to don't hesitate with the barrier's presence.
Of course, Gan seemed the one to shoot first and so he did, the arm he was using caught a bit the Angel's interest, it didn't took much to him to see that the man was using his own energy to make his gunshots stronger - Call me whenever you have to recharge - The angel said when he flew by his and Jun's side just to throw again more feathers. After seeing an actual Tyrannosaurus, he decided that he was going to first pet it, and later take a picture for his boys.

"No, no. Well, kinda," Arthur answered the gingerknight. "It's called shadowboxing. It's a good warm-up or exercise in its own right. Or A demonstration, I suppose. And it's kinda fun. You should try it sometimes. You just gotta imagine you're fighting someone and you're pretty much set."
The ice mage observed the empty hole in the knight's armor. "Well, uh, I'm not sure how well healing magic works on baked pastries, but..." He snapped his fingers and cast a healing spell on the knight. "You are technically alive, so it might work." --- The goblins were holding up their end of the bargain. The dinosaurs carried the group to their destination far quicker than they'd have gotten on foot. Unfortunately, what awaited them on the beach was quite a shitshow. An army of mounted goblinoids, their leaders atop horned giants and the one above them on an armored T-rex. The shore was covered in little humanoids wielding crossbows. They let loose a cloud of bolts, a sizable one, a veritable cirrocumulus of bolts.
The distance between the shore and the spinosauri was thankfully also sizable, protecting the group from most of them. Of the ones that reached them, not many remained after Jun's slash and Wilson even saved Aaron from a stray one. Aaron nodded a silent thanks at him and activated Flauros. He pointed a palm at the T-rex rider and fired a pink burning orb. Unfortunately, the distance made it easy to dodge, assuming it didn't fizzle out by the time it reached its target.
"Fuck. Someone block those while we get closer."
His instructions were unnecessary. The angel and the old man created a barrier and returned fire with feathers while the gunman fired bigger bullets at the distant targets. Yeah, that worked. Aaron hunkered down and waited for an opportunity to jump into the fight properly.

The Jolly Gingerbread Knight’s shell sealed up with Arthur’s magic and he delightedly patted himself. “Excellent! You are truly a great friend!” He hugged Arthur, lifting him easily off the ground. “Ah, shadowboxing! I understand this quite perfectly! It is the same as practicing my mace swings upon dummies! A sharpening of form!” He did a few swings. “You do not? It is good to keep your skills sharp! I train for at least an hour a day!” He took a few swings with his mace, making Dan take a step away from him. “I, ah…” Dan mumbled, looking at his feet.
“I’m just thinking about how best to handle these guys. Even the stronger people here have barely been able to scratch them. Precision punches won’t do it. I have to rush them down and pummel them so they can’t attack, then grapple them.” Dan threw his arm out in a motion that would slap aside a pointed gun, then lunged in for a grab. “Like that.” He paused with a smirk. “When we come across more of these punks, I’ll really get to show you what I’m made of.” The bottom floor just barely peeked into view at the bottom of their vision. Glaring lights were shining from the ceiling, but nothing else could be seen just yet.
“Yes, a duel. I challenged Akane Musashi for her many insults to my person.” Jun’s face sealed up into a scowl. For just a moment, everything else was lost. She was only snapped back into attention by the roar of Gan’s hand cannon. His bullet went buzzing overhead, straight on for the goblin chieftain. His feet were moving immediately, springing him off of his dinosaur’s back. A rope was revealed around his waist, keeping him from dropping further than the creature’s hip. The bullet passed harmlessly overhead. He cackled in response until his Tyrannosaurus responded to Aaron’s attack, rearing up and stepping back.
The sudden movement sent him bouncing against the beast’s side, screaming angrily until he found his footing and scrambled back up. The second round of bolts was fired, but it shattered on Vladimir’s shield and the monsters were ashore. Jun jumped down to shore, all humor in her eyes gone. A finger speared the closest goblin off of his mount and she stretched, sword at the ready as two more backed away, reloading their crossbows on the run. Wilson was not far behind, making a mighty leap from the skull of his mount to kick one of the mighty raptors in the ribs and send it sprawling. It shrieked and struggled to find its footing as Wilson kept back, wary of other threats. The goblins squabbled and screamed, keeping well back with spears at the ready as they readied another volley of bolts at as close a range as felt safe.

Osechi pouted when the Gingerbread Knight hugged Arthur, if he needed some healing, Osechi could have even made some upgrades! She looked at Dan's motions completely unimpressed
"ehhh, I see..."- Osechi said as she turned around to look at the lights below. why did Caroline liked him anyway?
Gan flinched when he heard Akane's name, he didnt even care about missing his shot. Damn Musashi, why can't she just get along with people and make friends for once? As far as he knew, she had mellowed out ever since Ann came back. Hell, she even got a boyfriend. what could she have possibly done to anger Jun?
Gan stopped thinking about that, defeating the goblins was a priority, and the chief had made fun of him. Now he was in a terrible mood.
A pressure enveloped Gan as his Ki began to rise to the limit, the sand was lifted off the ground as he walked, small shockwaves accompanied him everywhere he moved.
"I am done with all of you. Let me show you terror"
Gan unsheated his sword and imbued all of his Ki into it, the blade absorbed the Ki and grew in size, exuding golden energy on the cutting edge.
With one move, Gan rushed towards the T-rex and swung at its knee with all of his strength. Tengri roared with ferocity, looking to keep slashing until there was no trace left of the creature.

A sigh of relief escaped Erin’s mouth when Osechi let go of her. “It’s uh, fine! Totally fine!” She tried to reassure the chef, who had already moved onto paying attention to the gingerbread knight again. A small pang of regret rang through Erin’s mind when she looked at Caroline. She would have gladly taken that hug just now. Maybe this was part of the reason why Caroline was making friends with everyone...and she was this awkward weirdo still.
Meanwhile, Caroline narrowed her eyes in amusement when Dan explained. “You mean to tell me a former bad boy doesn’t have all fighting-related answers?” She asked in fake amazement. “That does seem like a nice way to disarm someone though. I look forward to seeing what you can do next.” She stated, giving a few last shadow jabs and strolling over to the scene with Arthur and the gingerbread knight, placing her hands on her hips.
“Look at you, able to heal talking pastries. Perhaps our resident chef could help too?” Caroline looked toward Osechi, waving. “Do you happen to know how to make gingerbread? Like, a lot of it? Maybe you can give our boisterous friend a cool shield or something.” The snake doll asked. Surely this girl didn’t lug around a miniature oven, right?

Hah!? - The angel as he fighted managed to hear Jun - Who is picking on the cute Juu? I'll beat them! - He grumpily said as he landed, taking his massive axe again ready to smit some goblins. As he gracefuly moved, he was being lethal, the axe didn't seem heavy as he used it, but one could see its weight as how its victims ended.
When the second round of bolts came, the palading immediatly made another shield. The closer the attack were, the highter the impact was. His barrier collapsed immediatly as he stepped back, summoning his spear, the ex-paladin created another torrent of wind to distract the goblings as he tried to pull them out of the ground and send them to the water.

The gingerbread knight hugged Arthur as thanks for healing him and called him a good friend.
"Uh, yeah. Thanks. I try." Arthur answered. "Can you put me down now, please?"
After the knight did so, he moved on to bragging about his shadowboxing experience. Well, not shadowboxing per se. Just mace swinging exercises. "Yeah, it's basically like that. Just without a dummy. It surprisingly makes it easier to visualize your opponent when you're not anchored a physical representation. Anyway... Neat strategy, Dan. Though you forgot one thing. The thing about guns is that they have range and you're fairly slow right now. Just... Be careful." --- The magic shield protected the group from the second volley and it let them get close enough to engage in melee. Jun hopped in with enthusiasm. Aaron's enthusiasm was even more obvious as he activated Asmodeus and lept into the enemy forces like the Hulk. He was aiming at one of the larger goblins, presumably hobgoblins, riding the tank-like armored dinosaurs. It wasn't an attack with any technique behind it, just a wild brawler's heavy punch aimed at the enemy's chestplate.

“And that’s why I’ll rush them.” Dan grumbled as Arthur was dropped by the Gingerbread Knight. As the elevator lowered further, the ceiling came into view and a new source of light became clear. There was the hole they saw on the surface from the other side. The ceiling was peeled like a giant can opener had been taken to it. Did that fake Santa come from here? It was another few seconds before they were low enough to look at the floor. Snow was being pushed around by an unarmored employee, surrounding and burying scientific equipment.
There was a line of strange doors at the back, lined up along the walls and climbing to the ceilings. The janitor looked up slowly at the descending heroes and went pale. “Emergency! We’re breached! Hello? Respond!” He yelled into his headset, receiving no response. “Hoho, we have smote those that he calls!” The Gingerbread Knight twirled his mace and stepped forward. The janitor panicked, backing up to the wall. “Don’t get any closer! We’ve got dangerous individuals contained here and I will release them if you get any closer!” He waved his hand at the controls.
“It’s a bluff. Nobody would give a jumpy janitor the password to vaults filled with criminals.” Dan huffed as he vaulted off the elevator. Before his feet even hit the ground, the man slapped at the keypad by the valts. An alarm blared and one vault began to slowly rumble open. An ice-cold mist came pouring out and catlike opened in darkness. “Well, well. I was told that I would sleep until the end of time. Has it come already?” A thickly accented voice spoke as a dark figure emerged from the mist. The eyes belonged to a dark-skinned man, lean and tall. More figures were emerging behind him. “I will ask for your release if you kill these intruders!” The janitor shrieked. “And if we just kill you and flee myself?” The man asked. “You wouldn’t make it five miles before Aires catches you.” The janitor squeaked. “Far enough. Give me my weapons.” The dark man demanded and another vault was opened, revealing twin obsidian swords.
More figures emerged while he admired his weapons, sizing up their foes. “I smell weakness on that one!” A chattering gnome with axes bigger than his body cackled at Dan, springing forwards. “Eeeerk! Eeeeerk!” A crocodile-headed humanoid made of slime snarled at Caroline and claws shot from the blobby ends of its arms. “Suuuup.” A hooded woman with a scythe eyed Erin. “Saaaaaaantaaaaaaaaa!” Something came barreling out of the vault like it was shot from a cannon. “No! The Sugar Hag! I thought we had destroyed- oh dear!” The Gingerbread Knight was tackled by a massive brown-skinned ogre whose orifices dripped with sickly-sweet smelling white slime, slamming him into the back of the elevator. “Well I suppose that leaves only one.” The dark man mused, vanishing into the mist. Silently, he emerged right besides Arthur, stabbing with both swords, trying to pierce his neck and liver with one move.
Vladimir’s whirlwind sent several goblins tumbling, but the demons were weightier. Two snowmen, bodies enforced with tangles of roots, pushed through the wind to attack him. One lashed out its oversized right arm, an entire tree warped into a limb, while the other stabbed at him with a root shaped like a proboscis. Not far away, Aaron barrelled through the rank and file, scattering snow and goblins every which way on his path to the guardian goblin. His fist impacted with a solid shield of bone, shattering it and the arm beneath. The goblin screamed in rage and pain, swinging at him with a bone-hilted saber. Its sword skills were unimpressive, but apparently it was wiser as a leader. At its bark, the scattered ranks were closing back in, surrounding Aaron on the triceratops’ back. Long pikes came jabbing at his ribs, trying to impale him for the commander.
The goblins kept their distance as Gan slowly approached. They were not particularly eager to attack somebody with a glowing sword, and were happy when he charged past to strike at their leader. The goblin chieftain saw him coming and tapped his dread mount’s side with his staff. It lurched forwards and its leg rose. Gan’s slash shaved flesh from its meaty foot, but it was far nicer than his intended strike. Down came the chief, swinging on his rope again, swinging his staff at Gan’s skull. He gibbered something in his native tongue and a raptor-mounted goblin rushed by, strafing Gan with a repeating crossbow.

The elevator descended into a fairly spacious room. It had some tech on either side, but the most interesting thing about it was the hole in the ceiling. And of course, there was the janitor. The janitor was too loyal and too diligent, rushing to defend the facility before the elevator even stopped.
"I'm not as shocked by him knowing the code as I am by him being willing to set all the guys here free. I'd think these guys were locked up for a reason."
Regardless of the probably substantial risks the janitor took by letting the locked people out, he did it anyway. This released just enough people to entertain all the guests. So, obviously, when the swordsman claimed that "that leaves only one" and vanished into the chilled mist, it didn't take Arthur long to figure out whom he was talking about. Arthur jumped forward into a roll, barely avoiding the stabs. Landing in a crouch, he turned around quickly and loosed a few ice shards at the direction he came from.
"Jeez, that was close. Give me some warning next time, will you?" Arthur stood up and created two ice swords to match his opponent. He lunged forward, slashing at the man's shoulder with one sword and stabbing at his stomach with the other.
Aaron fought his way closer to one of the leaders. The goblin swung its sword wildly when he got close, earning Aaron a few shallow cuts for his unwise approach.
"Oy, you fuck! You cut though my fucking jacket! I don't have the cash to buy a ton of these, you piece of shit!" He swore as the leader's guards climbed aboard the triceratops with pointed spears. This was a blessing in disguise however. Aaron rushed toward the nearest one and tried grabbing his spear and swinging it to the side. His goal was to knock the goblin into some of its brethren and pry the spear out of its hand while he did so. Then he would toss the spear at the leader before dashing toward one of the hopefully downed goblins. If he could pick one of them up, he'd want to use it as a shield from the remaining goblins' spears.

"I might have gotten ahead of myself" -Gan said as he caught the staff with one hand.
His Ki barrier was at such a high level, that the crossbow bolts shattered instantly the moment they came in contact with his skin.
"You're the only one I have to kill"
The aura around Gan had changed. He closed his eyes and began to concentrate Ki into a single, minuscule point located in the tip of his finger. the energy needle formed by Gan was a PM10 particle, seemingly invisible to the human eye.
"Dim mak"
The moment Gan manged to touch the goblin, the energy would shoot straight to its heart. The death touch would shoot Ki pulses inside that disrupt the heartbeat, leading to cardiac arrest.
"That's exactly one of my strenghts! a shield is easy, I'll do it as soon as we catch a break!"
But they didnt. a wild fight ensued due to Dan's stupidity, who would have thought? Osechi looked around for places to hide, but there were none! her knight was now fighting on the elevator so there was no way back! it was time to fight, but she didn't want to!
The chef God summoned a golden spatula larger than herself, if the hag came close, she would swat it down like a fly.
*don't come, don't come, don't come!*- She thought to herself as she kept an eye on her.

The prospect of Osechi cooking gingerbread amused Caroline greatly, sparkles danced in her eyes at the imagery of a taller, more heavily armed gingerbread knight that was a borderline mecha. She snapped out of this fantasy when the group descended into the bizarre room with a gigantic hole in the ceiling. Caroline whistled at the sight of it. "Now there's your problem right there, chief." She remarked to nobody in particular, Erin ignoring it and looking on with horror at the scene between Dan and the janitor.
"W-wait! We can talk this through!" Erin tried to reason, but it was too late. The janitor had already released the strong-looking man with the obsidian swords, followed by a strange collection of other prisoners. Erin looked on with disappointment that these brash people dragged themselves into yet another fight. Caroline stepped in front of Erin and leaned to the right, stretching her body unnaturally far, before moving back. "Aw, I know you're not a fan of this stuff, but look at how much fun those two are having." Caroline motioned to Dan and Arthur. Erin folded her arms across her chest in response. "I...guess. Do you enjoy fighting like this?" She asked. Caroline placed her hands on her hips and thought for a moment.
"Not particularly, but sometimes it's fun to do unpleasant things for the sake of others, no?" Caroline smiled toward Erin, who look puzzled. "I have no idea what you're talking about." "That's ok, just help us deal with these guys and we can relax for a while. I trust your abilities." Caroline gave one last smile toward Erin before she noticed the bizarre crocodilian slime monster running at her. She leaped out of the elevator and moved to get some distance between herself and the other fights that were starting. "Well aren't you just a peachy little boy." She remarked, weaving between the claws with snake-like precision and slashing at the blobby arms with her knife. "No good, huh?" The doll mused. Using her enhanced speed, Caroline attempted to slash her knife directly across the crocodile's face.
Erin felt a sense of loneliness when Caroline ran off to engage in her own fight. Everyone here was busy facing off against their own opponents, but whenever the HWIC sent her on any kind of dangerous assignment, there was always another agent she could rely on to watch her back. But here there was...nobody. A chill ran down Erin's spine when she heard someone casually addressing her. Erin quickly jogged out of the elevator just in time to avoid dealing with the gingerbread knight and his strange ogre opponent. Straightening out her jacket, Erin nervously stopped and summoned her own scythe. "Uh, hi. I suppose there is no way I could convince you to not harm me or anyone else here, and just kinda...go back to your cell? If you were imprisoned legally in the first place? If you weren't, I'm totally able to help you bring a case against whatever people put you there and yeah..." The HWIC agent let out a defeated sigh when she realized she was rambling. Readying her scythe, Erin prepared to counter whatever this woman was going to attach her with.

These little guys are starting to annoy me - The angel said as he swung his axe, sending it flying like a boomerang against the demons. He turned to see Vladimir who coudln't teleport, the only thing the man could do was to dome himself inside of his pentagrams as their began to dig on the ground, he was cornered and ideas weren't coming.
The angel utilized his powers to make the tree grow and sprout, making its roots to grow towards the insides of the snowman... if that worked at the point of breaking the creature from the inside, then Vlad could escape. With his other hand, Gallerian tried to make melt the sand around the goblings and demons and immediatly solidify it on glass to trap them... or hurt them, anything worked. As the angel used both of his hands, his wings shot more feathers. His axe was being swun with the little of attention he could give it, he couldn't control it so...... if some of his friends got hit he'll ask sorry later.

“Weakness, eh…” Dan grumbled, setting his feet in the ground. He had just made a plan for fighting the soldiers, but it seemed they were entirely handled now. What instead chattered and bounced before him was a wild-eyed dwarf, face slicked with sweat and yellowed teeth gnashing. However, he couldn’t stop. He had to show he could do this. Too many times had he struggled already. Charge. Deflect a strike. Finish it. He would just have to be relentless. His feet pushed down and he was off, rushing across the floor. One moment, the dwarf was there. The next moment, his fist was outstretched and it was gone.
By sheer instinct, Dan ducked low. There was a swoosh and glimmer above as an axe passed right through where his head had been. “Woo! The weak one is still swift to react!” The dwarf spoke right in Dan’s ear and he felt something bite into the back of his knee. He wheezed in pain, dropping to his good knee. His durable clothes had limited the cut’s depth, but the force had still driven him down. Dan spun and caught another axe blow on his arm, shoving him into a computer bank. His mind was spinning, but he threw out a quick straight anyway. He grinned when he felt his fist impact. The smile vanished when he withdrew his arm and found the dwarf completely unscathed. It madly cackled and swung its axes over and over, Dan desperately deflecting the blades with his arms, turning killing blows into painful slashes.
Caroline’s blades went through the creature’s slimy flesh, revealing something beneath the slime. Black bones were swiftly covered again, but the creature let loose a rattling growl as Caroline rushed in, trying to back away. Below dripping pink eyes, another slash opened up, revealing more black bone. Again, it was quickly sealing itself up, although the beast attempted to back away regardless. It snapped at the too-close Caroline with its jaws before jumping backwards, finding itself up against an oversized server in the center of the room. It screamed in fury and swung one arm in a low sweep, hoping to catch Caroline on it.
“Weeeeell, it was pretty illegal. These guys are dicks.” The scythe girl brushed a lilac lock of hair out of her eyes. “On the other hand, the guys around me are pretty hardcore. I don’t think you guys are gonna survive and I’m not missing my chance to get out. Sorry lady.” A purple aura kicked up around her, pulling the mist into a violet inferno. Her scythe glowed and she stepped in, slashing right at Erin’s stomach. “If it is any comfort, think of this as a loss of burdens.”
The elevator’s entire space was filled with the sugar hag’s mass. Her round skull deflected a few strikes from the Knight’s mace, redirecting them into empty air. Her face was like a jack-o-lantern, little more than lopsided holes carved into her stony skin, cream dripping from them filling the space with a sickeningly sweet scent, lost entirely on a being with no nose. A fist nearly the size of his torso slammed him into the wall, cracking his chestplate in multiple places. Gasping and gagging, he landed another hit, attaching sticky frosting to her skull. With a wave, he tethered her to the wall, and when she tried to hit him again, he dropped to the ground, wriggling under to come out the other side. “Keep her within the elevator! She is ” He yelled to Osechi as she ripped a chunk off the wall to free herself. “Santaaaaaaaaa!” She wailed, trying to grab at the goddess from her steel cage.
“Me speaking was warning enough, clearly.” The dark man vanished back into the mist and the shards shattered on the wall. He appeared again from the other side of the nearest server, eyes yellow and hair longer. Two black swords flicked out, one swinging from above, the other stabbing low. “I see you are also a dancer with two blades. Now things are slightly more interesting. Now you have something to teach me.”
The spinning axe carved through various snow devils, but the goblins were small and quick, lowering their low bodies even further to evade its arc. This did little to help them when Galerian’s flames rose up around them, sending them scampering. Any semblance of battle-ranks was long gone among the horde. However, his other attack was not so effective. The demonic hybrids only grew stronger from their growing wooden parts, the one with the massive arm continuing to slam at Vlad’s shield and the other turning its powerful proboscis upon the angel, trying to drill right into his skull.
The hobgoblin managed to get back on its feet while Aaron was busy defending against the little fae stabbing him from the ground. It yelped and fell again to avoid the thrown spear, giving Aaron time to grab one of his fallen followers. The hobgoblin whistled and suddenly their mount took off. Aaron’s footing would surely be unsettled, and the hobgoblin came lunging, willingly stabbing through the smaller goblin in its attempt to impale Aaron.
The goblin chief screamed in anger when his staff was caught, drawing it back for another strike before Gan tapped him in the chest. His heterochromatic eyes (a particularly hideous shade of purple and pitch black) widened and he gagged on his oversized green tongue. His body toppled forward, leaving him lying face down before Gal’s feet. “Well, you handled that quickly.” Jun spoke from behind. The Tyrannosaurus roared in raw rage, maneuvering its body to aim its massive jaws at Gan. “We can handle this.” She pointed Wilson to the giant reptile and he nodded, drawing in a deep breath. As he breathed in, he grew until his head topped the beast’s. It looked at him in surprise before an oversized uppercut knocked its chin upwards.
“These things are pathetic. I suppose it is to be expected of such lowly-look out!” Jun pointed, but it was too late. A bone knife, dripping with venom, came flying from the goblin chief’s hand at Gan’s back. He was up and giggling in a second, running back into the forest. “Coward! Return to the field of battle!” Jun ran off after Gan’s opponent, leaving nothing but the question of how he had survived. The other goblins who saw their leader flee were following suit, leaving only Aaron’s foe and the demons on the beach. The allies of the heroes seemed reluctant to enter the forest themselves, sticking to the edge of the beach.

"Kyaaaa!!!"
Osechi screamed terrified and swung at the hag with the spatula the second she tried to reach for her, the attack was immediately followed by another, and another, and another. It was clear Osechi was just gonna swing until she had no stamina left.
Even though her attempts at attacking looked comical, the force behind each strike was enough to shatter concrete. Eventually however, the attacks ceased. Osechi panted as the spatula disappeared into thin air. did she actually managed to do something?!
"Phew" Gan whistled as he saw wilson uppercutting the T-rex. Not quite in the level of Orochi pummeling Kaiju to the ground, but still great.
"I guess we are done with them"-He told both Jun and Wilson. It was right after that that the goblin attacked him. how was he even still alive? Tengri swatted away the knife, but his ki barrier was down.
"Just a scratch huh? what the hell is this substance? well whatever, I guess next time I'll just cut its head off."- He said looking at the small wound. when Gan looked upwards, Jun was already going after the creature.
"Jun wait! we can't just go after them like that!"- He shouted, even though she probably did not hear him. Gan turned towards wilson before running after Jun.
"I'll go after her, stay with the team so that they know where we went to"
and so, he left.

“Oooh? So you’re not all goo, are you little guy?” Caroline asked with interest when she saw the bones inside the creature’s body. The fact that he was trying to back away indicated that she was getting close to hitting something that actually mattered. The snap only managed to tear off a small amount of the front of her puffy coat, making the doll frown in annoyance. Finding itself backed against a server, the slime creature swung its arm low, allowing the nimble Caroline to leap over it, knife drawn to close the gap between them…
...when she saw the situation between Dan and the bizarrely fast dwarf. Weren’t creatures like that supposed to be slow and powerful? The doll frowned, looking between Dan desperately parrying the killing blows, and the slime monster. Looking to the left, an idea formed in Caroline’s head. “I’ll be right back, kay?” She politely told the slime monster, whipping her body toward another fight.
Erin looked on with disappointment when the scythe lady resolved to fight despite admitting that they were imprisoned illegally. She seemed to know everyone else in the room though, were they some kind of team? Erin quickly summoned her own scythe to clash with the attack, shoving her backwards at the force. “We’re not working with the people who put you in there! Ugh…” Erin said in frustration. But just as she was about to begin summoning a few petals, she was yanked to the side by a stretchy arm, Erin letting out a yelp of surprise as she was pulled into a huddle with Caroline.
“Hey there. I know you have your own spooky opponent over there, but Danny over there needs some help.” She motioned to the fight between Dan and the dwarf, which Erin grimaced at. He was doing far worse than she was. She was brought to attention once more by Caroline snapping her fingers. “So how about we work together? Summon your flower things to keep that thing busy for a little bit.” She pointed toward the slime monster. “I go help out the bad boy, and then we just help each other out with these three?” Caroline gave a reassuring smile, which Erin nervously chuckled at. The prospect of fighting 3 of these things at once with just Caroline was a terrifying prospect, but...somehow, she trusted in Caroline’s judgement. “Mph! I’ll do what I can!” Erin said with as much confidence as she could. Caroline smiled and patted the HWIC agent on the shoulder. “I knew I could count on a cutie like you. Chao!” And with that, Caroline rocketed toward Dan and the dwarf, leaving Erin stunned for a second.
Looking toward the slime monster, Erin concentrated upon the air around it and summoned a small ring consisting of 12 petals around the slime monster and the server, the brilliant pink lighting up the area around where they fell. “I hope that’s enough…” Erin looked back nervously at the woman with the scythe and swung it diagonally to the right, trying to knock her back and following up with a leg sweep, hoping to knock the woman down.
Flying in from the right side, Caroline ran her tongue across her purple blade to coat it in a paralysis-inducing venom and attempted to slash the dwarf straight across his right arm. She then twisted her body and delivered a sharp kick from her right leg to the dwarf’s head to knock him back several meters. The snake-like doll smiled at Dan, twirling her knife expertly between her knuckles.
“Seemed like you needed a little help here, former bad boy.” Caroline winked at Dan. “Unfortunately, I needed to get Erin’s help to distract my other little friend. So if you could help me take this guy out, or distract the scythe lady, that would be grand. I’ll let you decide.” Caroline nodded confidently, backing up to try and bring the dwarf closer to Erin so the duo could assist each other better. She had no idea what Dan could do against the lady with the scythe, but at this point, anything would help.

Before Arthur launched his counter-attack, the man disappeared again. Naturally, Arthur lept forward again in case the tried the same attack. Luckily, the man wasn't right behind him this time. Scanning the battlefield for his opponent gave Arthur time to see how the others were faring. They could be doing better, it must be said. But he couldn't devote too much attention to them.
The dark man came at him with a swing and a stab. Arthur flipped one of his swords into a reverse-grip and blocked the downwards slash with it. His other sword transformed into a shield he'd held at an angle to redirect the stab.
"I know several dances, actually. Though I prefer the ones with a bit more physical contact." Arthur's sword vanished and his now free hand reached for the man's wrist. His shielded hand lunged upward to strike the man's solar plexus. If he'd succeeded, Arthur would transition into a judo throw aiming to toss him into the scythe girl. Arthur would then jump after him, now holding an ice spear to pierce the man's stomach.
"Next time I'll teach you the Lambada!" --- Aaron held the smaller goblin like a shield, but the dinosaur's sudden movement almost sent him falling to the ground. The hobgoblin took the opportunity to stab through his shield and hit Aaron's side. He yelled out in pain and fell to his knees.
With blurred vision and trembling hands, he grabbed the spear at the point where it entered the goblin. He breathed heavily and squeezed the wood. Tighter. Tighter. Then, with an enraged bellow, he snapped the spear and rose to his feet. He pulled the shield-goblin off the wood sticking out of him and tossed it at the crowd. Then he lept at the hobgoblin with another scream of rage, aiming to knock it down, straddle it and pummel it until its face was barely recognizable.

Oh sorry! sorry! - The angel said between chuckled at the ex-paladin. He modified the components of the treets to dry them - Oh my! - He said ambushing the demon with his feathers, at the moment it reached it, the composition immediatly changed and made the feathers to melt away at the point of looking like water..... Holy Water.
Vladimir glanced in his desperation inside the dome and noticed the sudden change on the trees... he could burn him with a nice thunder. Dissolving his pentagrams the driaochta stabbed the wood with his spear, his hands felt like an electric storm that moved through his weapon as a bright light ran towards its target. Gallerian was sure that that's was more than enough to finish it. He glanced at the Gobling that was right at his feet, with a gentle and soft voice he spoke to it - Oh dear, do you need God's blessing? - Despite of his tone and face, anyone that knew the angel would immediatly know that this wasn't mercy at all...

Dan took strike after strike, only thing keeping him alive the wildness of the dwarf’s swings. He was able to keep bare skin away from any attack, the dwarf clearly more interested in chopping through his guard than around it. But it wasn’t lasting. Every second, Dan felt another gash open up on his arms. His resolve was faltering bit by bit, and in the haze of pain and blood loss, all he could think about was how he brought it upon himself. Dan had thought he was above this sort of petty showing off. He looked on at Huntsman’s antics with a sense of superiority. But one little bit of attention and there he went, throwing himself into a blender for the off-chance of getting laid.
Still, he couldn’t stop the smile when Caroline was the one who came to his rescue. That felt pretty damn good. After the slash landed, the dwarf flipped away, evading her kick. “Ehhhhh!? This human is stretching!? Horrible! I will cut you into pieces and then you will not stretch!” He began bouncing back and forth, weaving closer only slowly. “I don’t think I can do anything to him… he’s too fast for a regular human. Too fast and too irregular for a counter. He always swings in an unpredictable one-two, right then left.” Taking that many swings had scarred the pattern into his brain. He turned, cracking his knuckles. “Now let’s see what I can do for Erin.”
Erin was not doing too poorly so far. Her petals contained the monster, glow warning it of something suspicious afoot. Her scythe swing was blocked by her foe’s handle, but her kick tripped her up for just a second. The purple-haired woman stumbled, but threw out a swing at Erin’s side, using the momentum to pull herself back upright. Her foot slipped just a little in the other direction, but she planted herself quickly. “Hey, mind if I talk to Erin?” Dan asked, walking in. The woman looked him up and down, focusing on his arms, cut to bloody ribbons.
“Woah, dude. You should just, like, lie down. You aren’t gonna survive that, so just let me put you out of your misery.” She waved her scythe in his direction. “I’ll pass on that.” He weakly waved and leaned to Erin’s ear. “She’s right that I can’t keep standing much longer. You need to take advantage of her weakness and… fuck.” Dan winced, his knees wobbling. “She isn’t… she hasn’t… god dammit!” He staggered backwards. So much trouble thinking. Erin could do this, but only if she saw the clues! “Enough chat!” The scythe was thrust at Erin’s stomach, seeking to drive the wind out of her before following up with another short swing at her stomach. Her feet twisted with the strike, keeping her planted this time.
Osechi’s wild swings battered at the extended arm, smashing it back every time it attempted to grab her. After a few swings, cracks appeared in the crusty skin of the Sugar Hag. After a few more, the cracks deepened and sticky white fluid was emerging. There was only one more swing. The spatula stuck fast, and not even Osechi’s prodigious strength could pull it free. Thankfully she was freed by removing the spatula from existence, and the Sugar Hag found herself pulling back nothing once more. “Santaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!” She roared, pounding at the ground. “You have injured her! Most impressive! However, we must be cautious of her blood, for its stick is renowned throughout the land more than its sweetness!” The Gingerbread Knight was making sure not to strike anywhere blood was drawn, but his options were quickly growing limited.
His mace had opened shallow cuts across her body, and slowly his blows were failing to push her back. “Ssssssssannnnnnnnntaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!” Her body shoved forward and the elevator was totalled, walls exploding outwards in a storm of steel shrapnel. “Ungh!” The Gingerbread Knight cried, send sliding with pieces of elevator sticking out of his torso and helmet alike. The Sugar Hag swung her injured arm, splattering her blood in a long ribbon, attempting to stick Osechi’s feet to the ground. The same arm immediately rose up again and came down to smash the culinary goddess like a fly caught in a doughnut’s glaze.
The assassin felt out Arthur’s strength through his blocks and a slight push. “Not bad, not bad at all.” He was stepping back when Arthur’s hand got his wrist. The shield was driven into his body, but something was wrong. His flesh barely budged, like his abdominal muscles had changed position. He winced, but his body barely arced under the pressure. The attempted throw failed far more. Claws had grown from his bare toes and solidly hooked him to the floor. His wrist escaped and he spun away from the spear strike, rubbing his stomach. “A filthy dance like that, and you have not even taken me on one date? You are too forward, as well as too young.” He ran his tongue over increasingly long fangs and sprung forward in an unusual arc, slashing down as he passed Arthur, then in one move sprang backwards, bending back to stab at Arthur’s midsection.
Vlad’s spear found a welcoming home in the demon’s tree-trunk body. Lightning coursed into the dry wood and blew it apart. The demon was left with a single arm, and even that now burned. Still, it laughed. “You think fire can harm one who has tasted hell!?” Its voiced boomed as the fire spread. But while its soul had faced fire eternal, its body was wood and snow. A charred finger fell to the sand and it quickly realized its predicament. “What!? No! Noooooo!” It howled, trying to keep its melting body together, but it was to no avail. As it became a puddle, its partner made a final move of desperation, lowering its body and sliding back towards the forest. There was a plan there! The goblins were pathetic, but they at least had a plan! The one at Gal’s feet, however, did not. It just babbled hopeless to itself in its obscure tongue, refusing or unable to speak English.
The hobgoblin was laughing, an awful gurgling sound. Aaron was bleeding. A stronger foe was on their knees! That was what it meant to be goblin! To bite the heel of the giant and bring him down! He raised his sword and stepped forward. Then the spear’s haft snapped. The giant stood again. He shrieked, a useless threat. His mind told him a second later that he should have run, but it was too late. His sword was up, but not before Aaron was upon him. It went spinning into the sand and Aaron’s fist went across his face. One punch knocked him unconscious. A second killed him in a way even a hobgoblin couldn’t come back from. The remainder painted his mount with the remains of his skull. By the time Aaron was done, not a goblin stood within a hundred meters of him.
Wilson vaguely nodded in response to Gan. He was too busy to pay attention to anything else right now. With his long arms, he was able to rain blows on the dinosaur’s face with near impunity, but none of them seemed to actually do anything. It just kept pushing forward, snapping at his arm. His giant form wouldn’t last much longer, and with each rush it got closer. Quite the predicament.
Jun was right on the tail of the goblin chieftan. He was also just a few hops away, jumping over roots and ducking under branches that slowed her down. “Gan was attempting to speak with us.” The Shattered One noted. “We’ll talk when we’re done. Cowardice like this must be punished.” Jun raised an arm and pointed a finger as the goblin entered a straight stretch, a path carved through thick brush. She had him! Something moved in the very top of her vision. Jun’s eyes moved up just in time to see the log swinging into her face.
When they next focused, she was looking up at the tree branches over her head. She felt like she was floating, held off the ground somehow. Her face was extremely wet and definitely felt wrong, but there wasn’t a hint of pain. As her mind cleared, she realized that was certainly going to come later. She wasn’t floating, she was laying in a bush. And she had just taken a log to the face. That was also important. She had fallen for the chief’s trap like a total clown. And now she was mad.
