John withdrew the tail and fixed his waistline. "Guilty as charged. Don't worry though. I'm pretty harmless as demons go." He loved the face she made when she realized his true nature. This one was just precious. "I hope that doesn't change your opinion of me." He almost hesitated admitting that fear. It wasn't especially common, but people had refused to associate with him over his demonic nature. "You are not going to be squeezing-Hey!" Jun, still working to figure out a dignified way to ride Amai, was scooped into her arms in a manner that was definitely not dignified. She was speechless for a few seconds before managing to recover enough to close her gaping jaw. She had to admit the position wasn't as horrible as it could be. Amai was only making her horribly tingy skin contact with Jun's thick thighs, and that was about as little as Jun could expect. "If there is a nude section to the beach, that is not where we are landing." She managed to moan. She was feeling motion in her stomach that she was not a fan of.
"No worries on that, I've met plenty worse." She moved her hand dismissively after signing to him. Sure, he was one of those incubus types...but she'd dealt with some awful individuals already. Underground members with questionable methods, gang leaders, even the occasional mafia...none were as nice as John, or as concerned on what people thought about them and their habits. Needless to say, it did make her feel just slightly shyer around him now; the suit was a lot more explainable now. "So you do that...stuff, then?" "Yes yes, understood.~" Amai was smiling with far too much enjoyment, enjoying the shocking touches she was giving the haughty girl. She could act like she was above the feeling and attraction, but like all humans...it boiled down to the same feeling. Ah, how she adored them! Lackadaisically flying them above the pool, Amai slowed down a little bit as she felt a certain familiarity beneath them; someone of her kind was here too? "Hmmm..." It wasn't quite right, but she felt like if she kept Jun here any longer, there'd be a messy situation...so quickly taking off, Amai veered them towards the beachside and with one great downward stroke, she landed on the beach with a relieved sigh as the soft sand slipped between her toes. "Here! See how fast that was? I'm pretty great, huh.~"
John snorted at the question. Bluntness combined with innocence. That was a new one on him. "Heheh. Yes, I do "stuff" all the time." His posture subtly changed, getting more seductive. "Why so curious?" His hands moved slightly differently too now. A bit slower, more gracefully. It was the closest he could do to a softer tone. Jun stumbled free of Amai's grasp when they landed. She fell to her knees and breathed deep, trying to quell the churning in her guts. She managed to resist a bizarre urge to anchor herself with Amai's legs and, after a few more deep gasps, stood. "Yeah... great." Jun opened her teal purse and took out a tube of sunscreen. "Do you need any?" She asked, sitting to rub it into her own legs. Amai annoyed her, but she wouldn't let her burn.
Loveline was expecting Allan's move. One doesn't survive in this world by getting caught off guard so easily. She hit the ball so it would get to Martha's side of the field while still getting going across the net. "Martha!" Make sure it lands on their side!
Martha sprang into action, launching herself straight up to spike the ball. The wind acted up again, trying to steal the ball away, but this time Martha was ready and drilled it right down at Allan. It bonked off his skull and the wind abrubtly stopped as he rubbed the top of his head. "You stop it! Stop your tail movements and the wind cheating you jerk! Stop it!" Martha angrily babbled, not incredibly clear on just what she was angry at Allan about.
"No, not really." Fumi held her arms together in an "x" formation, denying him immediately before resting back onto her innertube, lifting her brow curiously. "So if you do 'stuff' all the time, did you bring your partner with you?" Fumi tried hard to think of what kind of person would match John best, but for some reason she couldn't come up with anything! "So sweet, but no thank you.~ Heat feels more like home than anything.~" Using her hand as a visor, Amai looked out over the distance to the commotion being caused on the coast. Seemed like it was several things actually; some cute girls arguing, a swimming contest gone wrong, and a particularly volatile match of volleyball...and that was when Amai saw Martha, anger flaring with enough intensity to make her skin immediately sizzle. All she could think about was how that stupid girl got in the way and caused her to ruin her previous body, it pissed her off just seeing her!! Amai's wrath flared for only a moment longer before disappearing into a scary calm, her eyes narrowing to slits while her voice became slightly low and sinister. "Ohhh, looks like I have a friend here..."
"Nah, I'm promiscuous. I stick with somebody about a week and then I'm off. I tried to go longer, but, well... it didn't go as well." He shrugged, sending little ripples through the water. "I think I'll pick somebody up here. Later though. I'm still having fun here." The casual way he spoke left no doubts that picking somebody up wouldn't be hard in the slightest for him. "I thought you were going to help me pick up a man." Jun grumbled when Amai became interested in the people playing volleyball. She was pretty sure only one of them was legal anyway. "You're not just going to ditch me for your friend after everything you've put me through." She growled, poking Amai hard in the middle of her chest. She felt that usual tingle, the one that was almost getting comfortable.
Fumi wrinkled her nose slightly at the casual way he spoke of such a thing. Seems their views on this specific matter differed very greatly; Fumi couldn't imagine just picking up and dropping person after person like that..."That seems..." Fumi couldn't find the word for it, and she did like John so far as a person, so offending him was the last thing she wanted to do right now. Instead, she sufficed for a shrug of her shoulders hidden beneath her hair. She had been very close to signing the word "sad", but who was she to judge his lifestyle? So long as he didn't leave anyone hurting, did it really matter that she didn't agree with him? "Well, to each their own, that kind of lifestyle is definitely out of my league!" "Put you through?" Amai seemed to grow more and more fiendish the moment Jun prodded her chest and with a startlingly tight grip, Amai grabbed Jun's wrist in her hold, forcing her to the skin contact much longer than would be optimal for a simple human. "Darling, I haven't put you through half as much as I could. Do you think I owe you something for your feelings? How quaint." But, all at once, she released her wrist and her face took back on her amiable expression and she giggled in amusement. "Don't worry lovely, there are plenty of options...well, would be if you branched out, but first, I do want to make my little social visit. Let's make friends, shall we?" She wrapped her arm around Jun's shoulders and began to steer her towards the volleyball net, not really giving much room to argue. All Amai wanted to do was see Martha's face up close, see if she left anything after their little meeting, it'd give her a massive amount of satisfaction to even see the distaste on Martha's face. So long as she remembered her, remembered what she did.
"Out of your league? What you don't think you could get that many lovers? Cause let me tell you, you are adorable. Of course, if that's just not your thing, that's fine. You don't have to take a bunch of lovers. It's a personal choice." John put his arms up on the side of the pool, exposing his back to Fumi. He was getting restless. Maybe he did need to get up and find somebody to take up to his room. Jun became more uncomfortable the longer Amai held her. Still, her struggles slowly ceased. She almost smiled when Amai steered her over to the volleyball game. Why was she so mad? Amai wasn't so bad. She let herself be herded where Amai wanted. Out to sea, a small head popped up in front of Chase. "A human? What are you doing way out here? You're gonna drown!" The redheaded head piped up from a mouth filled with sharp fangs. She seemed to be easily keeping pace ahead of Chase with a combination of swimming speed and water manipulation. Under the water could vaguely be seen a pudgy body clad in a white and red striped bikini.
"Hmpf, is that tail just for show?" Clarissa said, lifting up the brim of her hat to look at Allan. "I suppose there's nothing wrong with using your head to hit the ball, but at least make sure it goes over to their side. Anyway, it's your turn to serve."
So her parents were separated from each other right now? Were they divorced, or just working apart temporarily for a specific job? Erin knew she couldn't ask these questions outright for fear of sounding too nosy, so she gave a small chuckle to her last statement about her father not 'getting' technology. "Heh...yeah...older people sometimes don't keep up with tech. My dad still misses the days where he could use a Typewriter and not look weird." She states, face going slightly less happy for a moment, then perking back up "So uh...you here with anyone?" Surely with someone that looks like her and does shows in Japan, Eri must have gone with someone on vacation.
As they hiked up the trail, Rachel glanced up toward the top of the hill, shielding her eyes from the sunlight. Up the trail she saw...a large figure with orange hair all over its body, and a distinct lack of clothing. "B-b-b-bear!" Rachel stammered out, dashing behind Elissa and trying to make herself as invisible as possible, shuddering in fear.
Reaching into her pocket to draw her weapon...Elissa soon realizes that the person standing next to the strange creature looked familiar. "Heeeeeeey! I didn't know you had a pet bear!" She calls out, waving to Alexis.
"I used it earlier! And I have no idea what she's talking about." Allan sneered at his partner. "Liar! That wind is your doing, you butt! And your tail is all distracting!" Martha yelled. "I'm not letting you serve until you fess up!" Her spiky hair seemed to be bristling more than usual. These jerks were cheating and that wasn't okay! She was near going over there and kicking the crap out of them. That'd teach them. "Bear!" Becky looked back, finding nothing. "Where?" She blinked. "Pardon my friend, she doesn't like clothes. You're lucky she's wearing this much." Giving up on the bra, Alexis stuffed the shirt over Becky's head, forcing her to put it on. "How have you been since we bumped into each other?" She casually asked Elyssa and Rachel, wrestling Becky properly into the buttoned shirt.
"I-It's not like that!" These type of topics always did make Fumi feel a little more on the shy side; as someone who'd never really experienced things like this, Fumi just took it as having not found the right one yet. "I think I would just prefer....a single partner." Idly, she played her two index fingers against each other shyly, still finding the idea a little bold. "Nice game, who's winning?~" Amai called out amiably from the sideline of the beach volleyball area, still keeping her arm wrapped around Jun. Seemed she wasn't fighting her as much, then again the woman had let herself be in physical contact with Amai way too much already; this was a dangerous game Jun was allowing herself to play. Luckily for Jun, Amai seemed more predisposed at the moment and was simply dragging her around; Amai hadn't forgotten about Jun by any measure, it certainly would be fun to attempt to enjoy her later. "Me? Not at all!" Eri laughed amiably at the idea. Her parents wouldn't be caught dead around her, she couldn't even imagine her mom in this heat with the clothing she wore! Her father, on the other hand, would probably be his typical shy self and never appear. As for romance partners, Eri didn't exactly give them time anymore; between work and immortality, her options were always pretty sad and limited..."What about yourself! Bring anyone to enjoy the resort with? I'd imagine it'd be way more fun that way!"
"Well...uh...I brought my younger sister and her friend with me...I think they're out hiking somewhere. One of my older sisters said she may come by later...but she isn't sure if today's going to be busy at work. So to pass the time I uh...went to this spot and began drawing!" Truthfully, Erin had no idea if Haruko was going to show up today or not, as it all depended on if there were going to be a lot of people shopping in her store. Her other siblings were all too busy to take a vacation like this, and to be honest...Erin didn't have many friends to invite to this sort of spot. Hearing someone shout abnormally loudly, Erin peered over to see some guy yelling at a reptilian-looking kid. "So...Marceline said you two were friends?"
Elyssa rolled her eyes as she watched Alexis try to wrestle her friend into a shirt, happy that she didn't have any friends that were this weird. "We've been great! Finding more Ruins, getting cool loot, going through high school...that stuff. Your sister is still obnoxious as ever." She remarks, frowning at the mention of that girl. "What about yourself?" As Elyssa asked, she pulled Rachel to the side, trying to calm her down again.
"Hey, that's totally fine. Plenty of people feel that way. Way more than think like me." John took her hands. "What's your preference. We can hit the bar on the beach and meet people if you like!" His excitement was apparent on his face, and he looked like his wings and tail were about to pop out again. "Glad to her the little shit is doing well." Alexis managed to wiggle Becky into the shirt, leading to a deep sigh from the hairy woman. "I've been good. Sweet vacation except for the walks in the woods. Bit buggy for me. Becky loves the woods though." Alexis patted Becky's back, earning an emphatic nod from the redhead. "Good good woods." She uncomfortably tugged at the bottom of the shirt, but left it on.
"The wind is your doing?" Clarissa looked Allan. "Then I see no problem with this. Using your abilities as a player is not against the rules. Your pitiful normalcy is all you can blame if you cannot win against us and-"
"Nice game, who's winning?~"
Did... Did someone just interrupt her? Such insolence! "How dare you speak to us? You're but a spectator, observing from the sidelines. Stay quiet, you wretch, and be grateful you get to watch! Our games shall not be interrupted by insolent audience members!"
Fumi shook her head particularly fast, sending her hair into messy disarray. Her hands dispersed into small plumes of smoke to escape John's, reappearing with solidity as she signed to him rather quickly. "I don't....I can't really see myself getting with anyone here! I would need more time...I want to get to know them! Just meeting when I'm only going to be here for a little bit, that doesn't give me quite enough time!" "I can't really say 'friends' in good confidence." Eri guiltily admitted considering her feelings towards Marceline weren't exactly positive, which just ended up making her feel more guilty. It felt..dirty, to not like someone without knowing them entirely first. "I tried to help her, but it didn't exactly get reciprocated very well, and well...yeah, now she's back at the bottom of the ocean." Amai let out a low hum of question, moving her hair away from her ear with a bright smile on her face as she leaned against Jun casually, tapping one foot against the warm beach sand as the little gremlin spoke. "Did you hear something just now?"
"And that's fine too." John realized that might have been a bit much and backed up. "I don't mean to pressure you into trying something out." He was thinking he should check out the bars today, and he had simply wanted a friend along. Giving somebody else relationship tips was always fun. "You got a type? I could talk to an ex or two and arrange a date." "Ah, fuck! You!" Martha glared at Amai, unconsciously rubbing her cheek. "I'm not done with you jerks, but right now this is a bigger deal." Martha stomped up to Amai. "I told you I was being forced to attack you. Leave me alone!" Jun looked at her escort with confusion. "What did you do to this child?" She wouldn't put anything past Amai. She wasn't sure why she was tolerating her so much right now. She was really growing on Jun.
"A...type?" It was sad, but Fumi had to think of what exactly he meant. She was aware of personalities and their messes and mashes; briefly, she thought of her two favorite supernatural detectives from X-Files. Mulder and Scully seemed to be perfect for each other because of their 'types'. "My type..." She was pondering it for what seemed like an extended period of time before slowly moving her hands in a shy manner to sign out what she really wanted in someone. "Someone who wouldn't leave." "What'd I do? Why, nothing, from the looks of it." She seemed to muster what was the slightest bit of a sneer and her narrowed eyes seemed deadly. Looked like there was no scar, but the way Martha rubbed her cheek showed that it didn't just require a physical mark to leave a reminder. "To think I'd come all the way here just to bother you, darling, you think too much of me. Flattering though.~" It was a half truth, half lie; Amai hadn't known Martha would be here, but to just annoy her with her presence was enough to give her a small jolt of excitement.
"Get out of here, miss. I can't have you bothering Martha now! We were just about to turn the game around!" Loveline approached and stood next to Martha to show support. Would this turn into a fight?
The large man from before walked up to them with Clarissa sitting in his arms like a lady. "You dare mock me? You are henceforth forbidden from observing the game. Leave." Rage burned in her scarlet eyes. If a fight came about, Amai appeared to be on the losing side.
