"Wheeeee!" Loveline exclaimed while Martha carried her over to the boy. However, the boy didn't want to fulfill his end of the bargain, claiming that now he didn't have a partner.
"Fufufufu, very well then. I will allow you to be my partner!" A young girl's voice appeared behind Allan. Loveline could see that behind him stood a little girl wearing a purple long-sleeved shirt. Her pants were also long, reaching all the way to her ankles. Her hands were covered in what seemed to be silk gloves. At least her feet were bare. On her head, she had a wide-brimmed hat that covered long white hair. Her red eyes were filled with pride and ego and a certain strength that overpowered the apparent frailty of her tiny body.
Smiling at having such a pleasant encounter, Fumi extended her hand as well to meet John's, using her free hand to best sign her similar sentiments. "It's nice to meet you too!"
Eri removed her mouthpiece and put her hands on her exposed hips, the large white bracelets on either hand jingling slightly as she seemed to pout slightly. "Rude! That's not how you treat people who are just trying to help you!" She then crossed her arms while tapping her bare foot against the sand, huffing slightly. "I even came back to help you again despite how rude you were!" She tried keeping her voice down considering how loud she unintentionally got when she was feeling particularly strongly about something, but regardless it still looked like a grown woman fighting with a child and she was the one who seemed more like a child on the beach. "So polite.~" She cooed while stretching her arms in front of her, looking like a sated cat at having gotten such a pleasant greeting. "Are you here alone, or did you bring any friends as cute as you?" Amai folded her arms back beneath her chin, her eyes slight slits that glowed faintly as she considered what she'd do after she left this spa. Probably go for a swim and enjoy the eye candy around the pools...or the beach. Both were great.~

While Chase and Aine relax on the beach, bystanders glare at them, all with similar thoughts that Chase and Aine is the best looking couple they have ever seen, even though the two of them had a much different relationship than a romantic one. Chase could sense the souls of the nearby crowd and was annoyed by their staring looks. Meanwhile Aine could care less about the onlookers as she tires to accomplish her mission. The Spirit of Unbalance told her to go to the resort with Chase and have fun. She accepted the command without hesitation, but couldn't help but feel that this is will be one of her most difficult missions yet. This environment was radically different than what she has been used, and she couldn't help but a bit uneasy here.
"Why don't you try swimming?" suggested Chase. He knew that she was suppose to have fun, but he wasn't trying to help her out so much as trying to get her away from him and his beers. Aine raises one of her eyebrows at the suggestion and asks, "What is da point of swimming?" "You will understand if you try it." replied Chase without much emotion. Aine studies Chase for a bit before nodding to herself. "Alright. We shall try swimming then." His eyes' twitch and he quickly replies, "Hang on, what do you mean we-" Before he could finish, Aine wraps one arm around Chase and places him on her shoulder. "What the fuck do you think your doing?!" demanded Chase as he struggles to break free from her incredible grip. She begins to walk casually to the ocean and answers with a straightforward tone, "Are you dense? We are going to swim of course." "You can do that by yourself!" Yet Aine chooses to ignore his last comment. "You could at least take the beer with us." grumbled Chase.
Allan startled when another weird girl popped out of nowhere. "Ughhhh... fine. Let's get this over with." He pushed himself to his feet with his tail, causing Martha to cock her head to the side. "Don't look at me like that." Allan rolled his eyes and walked over to the closest open court. "Allan Walters. What's your name?" He asked his partner. "Pleased to meet you, Allan!" Martha yelled from her side of the net. "It would certainly be nice to see you in France one of these days." John switched to slightly more overt flirting, keeping his hand around hers for a moment longer than necessary for a handshake. "Don't lecture me." Marceline rolled her single eye, speaking in a surprisingly husky voice for her apparent age. "You don't solve a problem you caused and say you're a hero." She sat on the sand dune and put her feet in the water. She was still coughing up water, not ready to go back under. "I brought nobody." Jun admitted. Not many people would be interested in coming with her. Even Wilson likely would have no interest. "But I'm hardly alone here. Harley is here." She pointed at the siren on her back, who rolled her beady eyes.
With her signing ability hindered, Fumi could only quietly laugh as she nodded her head dumbly in agreement; a visit to France would certainly be nice and leaving with more in her pockets would be even nicer. Ignoring the advances he made on her, going so far as to not even notice, she excitedly signed again with both of her hands. "Maybe I'll visit soon if my bosses don't mind me being gone for a little while longer!" Eri huffed and leaned over to meet the girls one eye with her hands still on her hips, aside from the one that now held a finger out in a scolding manner. "Maybe you shouldn't just be sitting on the ocean floor! I thought you were drowning or something!" They didn't seem to be the only ones arguing however. Seemed a rather strong woman was carrying her complaining partner to the ocean-side not too far away from them.
Switching to a more empathetic tone instead, she moved her finger away and set her hands back on her hips. "How was I supposed to know you weren't okay!" "Haaaaaaarley!~ Cute." Amai peeked up from her steepled fingers, smiling brightly at the siren who didn't seem too pleased being brought into the conversation again. Turning her attention back to Jun, Amai simply looked amused. "Nobody? That sounds awfully lonely.~"
"Feel free to visit me." John winked. His house was one of the nicest spots in the country, and he'd love to have Fumi over. "I'm sure your bosses wouldn't mind." Marceline rolled her eye again, or would if it didn't hurt to move so much. "I can't drown. You have to get used to some people being different. You'd think you would know people who can stay underwater given you smell like fish." The grouchy young woman adjusted her hat. Eri didn't really smell at all, but Marceline didn't really care. She lay on the sand to warm up, at least enjoying some nice sun. "I'm not married. I have no children. Who would I bring? Servants?" Jun said defensively. "Besides, I doubt you came with anyone either."
"It's not that simple." Fumi seemed to pout just briefly. While her employers were relatively relaxed on what she did, giving her plenty of freedoms and even making sure she was well-off, there was still a small leash, loose, but present around her throat. She could do what she wanted, when she wanted, but only when it fit her employers. The only reason she got to come to the resort was because they had to take time to plan her next, large heist; maybe if she was lucky, it'd be in France!...Unlikely though. Fumi's bosses primarily liked to contest with other powers around them. Signing again, she briefly gave a playful sorry as her ruminating completed. She liked this John guy, it was nice to have someone to talk to for once. Eri truly wasn't used to this level of treatment, being a revered idol in her country was completely different from what she was getting now. "Yeah well!!..." Eri had some choice words, ones her mother would have scolded her for if she said them out loud, but she took a minute and quickly reassessed the events that transpired. Holding her hands together, Eri sighed deeply as she held them in front of her face with her eyes closed until she looked more relaxed, nodding her head to herself as if answering a question that no one had asked. "Alright, I apologize for having frightened you. I mistook you for someone in trouble and just thought I'd come and help." She gave a strained smile, which still looked friendly and beautiful despite the way she had to force it. "Guilty as charged, I'm awfully lonely.~" Her smile was a clear tell that she knew what she was doing and her tone only kept lilting into more and more flirtation. She slowly and gently laid her arms down, looking at Jun with one amused eye. "How about we fix this loneliness problem?~"
"I am Clarissa Seyfarth." The girl curtsied. Her movements revealed that she was more used to wearing skirts and dresses then she was wearing pants. "Let us proceed with the game, Allan." She took the ball and walked to the edge of the court. With a graceful movement, she tossed the ball into the air. A moment later, she jumped after it with her hand poised to strike. A moment before her hand touched the ball, one could see her eyes glow with murderous intent under the hat. Then she launched the ball at Martha's side of the court.
After seeing the power and speed that went into that strike, all Loveline could this was -Oh no... Here we go again...-
John felt a distinct lack of attraction from Fumi. Too bad, she was cute. Still seemed like a decent friend at least. "It never is, is it? Consider it a rain check." Marceline smiled when Eri apologized. It wasn't so graceful as Eri's smile, with her overly wide mouth making her look like a frog. "That's better." It was only after her smug satisfaction passed that she pondered her behavior. "And... uh... sorry about yelling at you." She grumbled. She hid under her hat to avoid letting Eri see the little bit of guilt that crossed her face. "I have already rejected you. Do not make me do it again." Jun sighed. She had to admit that Amai had the air of one with more luck in love than Jun. "Maybe after we're done here, we can fix that together. Certainly you know how to attract the eye of a gentleman? Or are you only interested in your own sex?" Jun folded her towel over her whole towel to stand and move to the hot tub in the room. She kept her towel on for it but was well aware Amai wouldn't. She could only mentally brace herself for that. "I GOT IT!" Yelling far too loudly, Martha moved so fast she seemed to teleport, striking the ball from below. Allan sighed when he realized he would actually have to play if one of them was actually decent at this game. He sprang off the ground with a gust of wind, flipping in the air to smack the ball down with the cap on his tail. Martha watched the move with fascination, leaving the ball open for Loveline.
"Let's play a game Chase, I am going to throw you into the ocean and you will have to swim back to shore. I, on the other hand, will swim around this whole island. Whoever gets back to our chairs first wins." As they move closer to the water, Aine adjusts Chase's body until his face is directly facing the ocean and prepares to throw him into the water. "Aine, I really don't want-" Before he could even utter another word, Aine tosses him towards the water with her supernatural strength. As she releases him, a small sonic boom is created and Chase vanishes from sight. Afterwards, Aine proceeds to place her eyes over her brow as she looks into the far distance. She waits patiently for half a minute before a massive water splash erupts miles away from the shore:
As soon as the water splash returns to the ocean, she jumps into the water and begins to swim around the island. Meanwhile, Chase floats for a bit before he loses his temper and emits a large aura of flames from his body, which creates a massive steam cloud in the distance. Causing people on the beach to look at the event with wonder and curiosity as they had no clue what was going on over there, but it looked rather spectacular from their position. After letting off some steam, he proceeds to swim back to shore while cursing about Aine's desire to have these contests between them. "Fuck her!" he shouted. "I ain't going to let that red hair bitch win this time."
"Hm? Oh, yeah!" Martha ran for the ball, but before she made it, a shockingly harsh gust of wind whipped it away from her. It slammed into the sand and began to roll away. Martha just blinked and looked to the other side, where Allan was smiling, showing snake-like fangs. "I guess you got lucky." She frowned when she picked the ball up.
"If I ever find myself there though, I'll definitely hit you up!" She gestured her pink and thumb in a cell-phone like sign while she smiled. Unfortunately for John, it wasn't that Fumi was incapable of attraction, but she literally just didn't catch any of his hints whatsoever. Internally, Eri could feel that child-like wrath build up at the girl's obvious satisfaction with forcing an apology out of her, but it seemed it also forced one out of the girl as well. "Yeah, well...miscommunication and all." She sighed and plopped down onto the ground, sitting with her legs also splayed in the water while holding her body up with her arms just slightly behind her. She was about to question about the girl's cute eyepatch when the loud noise from the water made her jolt slightly, frowning a bit at how loud and violent whatever was happening in the ocean was. "Hmm...didn't they hear about trying not to use their powers that widely here? So loud...people are trying to relax!" "You know what they say, third time's the charm, or maybe it's the eighth~" Amai let out a low giggle to herself that only ended with a look of delighted surprise as Jun asked her the question she hadn't expected from such a standoffish girl. "Ohhhhh, you're asking ME to wingman for you? How cute!!~" She squealed briefly as she began to rise up, not giving the siren indication that she intended to move. "My own sex? Darling that'd be so terrrrriiiibly droll. I like everything. Everyone. Anything.~" Jun was correct on Amai's displacement towards not wearing a towel and she invited her uninvited self in, sinking into the warm and delightful water until just her face was visible, sighing as she seemed obviously pleased with herself. "The eyes of a gentleman, hmmmm....so that's what you're interested in. Depends on what you want, darling.~ Plus...I'm a bit...selfish." She said the last word with an almost serpentine manner, her smile becoming slightly more filled with malice. "I've got this horrible habit of taking more than I need.~"
"I look forward to it. In the meantime, how do you like this place?" Marceline grumbled when the ocean shook. "Ugh, it's probably my ex." She buried her head in the sand just a little to hide the noise. "Playing with his new girlfriend no doubt." Jun made a point of not looking at Amai's naked body. She wondered if it was that confidence and boldness that made her seem like she could help. "I could tell you, but you're hardly giving me any confidence that you won't just make things harder."
"It's very relaxing, usually I just lay around at home. Gross!" She enthusiastically signed, shifting to better hold to her inner tube. Truthfully, Fumi wasn't much of a swimmer; water and smoke didn't really mix well, especially if she submerged and the feeling made her feel grossly vulnerable. "There's a lot to do though, and-" Her signing got cut off when the loud boom from the outside occurred, making her wince slightly as she rubbed at her sensitive ears. Seems like someone was having a little too much fun at the beach. "Ex?" Eri moved her hand to twirl a strand of her damp hair around her finger, the rhythmic colliding of the small pearls around her wrist clacking together following the movement. "New girlfriend? Aww...I'm sorry, that sounds rough." She tried her best to sympathize, but she'd never really encountered a breakup; her heartbreaks were much more serious than just breakups. To her, they felt that way at least. Eri hadn't had a boyfriend in a good century and some change. "Where is he then? I bet he's as...interesting, as you are." "Oh darling, if I wanted to make things harder, I could." She oozed with sleaze with that comment, but she still seemed more than satiated and happy soaking in the water, raising one of her long legs out to admire the beautiful pedicure she'd gotten earlier in the day. "Confidence is key, darling. If you're confident enough, people love following you." Amai seemed to drift off slightly as she began speaking, her expression that of delighted, wistful, enjoyment. "Rulers, politicians, even the lowly street urchin...if you're confident, they all fall to their knees. Your body, your allure, it's all about power; I can bring a king down with a single look..." Sighing happily again, as if the example was more than such, a memory even, Amai suddenly slid through the water closer to Jun, her voice dropping low as her irises glowed deeply, pink smoke trickling from her lips as she spoke to Jun in a hushed, alluring whisper. "I could show you how to be confident with your body, teach you things you never even knew about it. Want to find out?~"
"Nothing wrong with staying home if you like it. I myself spend a lot of time in my home." John remained relaxed in his movements until the explosion rang out. "What do you think that was?" He asked, before spreading his wings and contemplating flying up to scout. "Not really rough. And ex isn't even really the right term. And I don't care where he is, I don't want to see him." Marceline gestured vaguely out to the spot where Chase had impacted. "But I dunno... something to do." She shrugged. If Eri wanted to meet Chase, she wouldn't complain. Jun could have sworn Amai changed when she breathed in a wisp of the pink smoke the succubus breathed out. She saw in her place a man, ethnically ambiguous but clearly something Asian. And rich. The watch around his wrist, his hairstyle, even mostly naked he looked like the embodiment of wealth. But it was gone in a flash. "What- how did you do that!?" Jun briefly lost her composure, blushing brightly.
Woah, how did she miss those wings? Fumi let out a slight whistle to show how impressed she was before signing to him really quickly. "Intending to go look? Sounds exciting!" With a slightly mischievous smile, she began to paddle her way to the pool's edge. If it was one thing she liked, it was something exciting! "I'll come with!" "Awww..." Eri cooed sympathetically like a mother trying to comfort a child, lightly patting Marceline's shoulder as she nodded understandingly. "There there, complicated relationships are just that; complicated. If you'd like, there's plenty of beach to avoid him on!" She set her hands on her hips proudly, as if the suggestion was somehow revolutionary. "Do what?" Her fingertip tapped at her bottom lip, but her teeth were bared behind a delighted smile as she looked to the ceiling with nothing but joy on her face. Amai felt her the moment she inhaled Foggy Misdirection; her heart jumped! The ones that acted tough were always the cutest when they began to fall. "Hmm...do what, do what...I wonder what you mean." More pink mist slowly began to pour from her mouth and she tilted her head slowly towards Jun, setting her hands on either side of the walls beside Jun's head as she spoke in a hushed, yet alluring whisper, expelling her pink smoke more heavily. There was no Eve here, no Hunstman, no Garo; no Wild Hunt to control her here. "Oh, you mean this? Why so surprised? Did I make your heart skip a beat?~" Jun didn't even have to answer it, but the delight of getting to see her struggle with the answer would just be too enjoyable.
"Can you fly?" John signed before extending a hand. "If not, I can give you a ride up." Marceline looked at Eri like she had turned into Marika. "Don't condescend to me. It's not complicated at all." Marceline grumbled, raising her arms to get the water out of her gloves. It would be a pain if she got mold in them again. Jun gaped when Amai took a position far too intimate for comfort. It only became worse when she found herself swamped by the pink smoke, making Amai's male appearance stick. She was mostly underwater, but with her position, it didn't matter. She was horribly close. "Stop this... at once." She breathed heavily now. "We're in public." She didn't have the requisite social skills to defuse the situation, her only resort the eyes of other people on her.
Technically, Fumi could, but the distance from here to the source of the explosion would probably cause her to hyperventilate. Deciding that taking John's offer was probably a safer bet, Fumi nodded and gave another sign of thank you. Leaving her beloved inner tube on the ground, Fumi revealed the one piece she'd been wearing, a large ruffled ring around her hips, the color just simply black and nothing fancy. Fumi took John's outstretched hands, hopping slightly from side to side out of excitement. "Not condescending!" She huffed out again, folding her arms across her large chest while she grumbled. "I'm trying to sympathize with you!" Amai's warped face still held its smile as she felt Jun's squirming just inches in front of her. She didn't forcibly make her quit, which was much different from how Eve had treated this situation; Jun was underneath its smell. Giggling quietly, Amai gently took her left hand and made her way to Jun's face; if Jun allowed the contact, Amai's intention was to lovingly run her fingertips beneath Jun's chin to tilt her head. "Love doesn't have a place or a time, darling, it just happens.~" However, she heard the sudden boom from the beach in the distance and she ignored Jun briefly. "Hmm...I wonder what that was.~"
John had to admire Fumi for a second before taking her into his arms. She was a cute one. Too bad she didn't seem interested. John took her arms and with a few massive flaps, the two were in the air. By now, all that was visible were a few large waves. "I can't tell what it is from here. Want to fly out there?" "You're doing a crap job of it." The grumpy girl grumped. Jun could only twitch when Amai's hand touched her. She started sweating at the touch. It was repulsively enticing. She hated the feeling of almost enjoying this thing's touch. It was broken quickly when Amai was suddenly yanked up from the tub by a hand of grey stone. "I will have to ask you two to leave. You are causing a disturbance." The craggy golem in a security uniform informed them.
