-If you haven’t bloody noticed I’m not in the best of conditions I don’t even know if my database is online.- Falken complained, more out of a desire to bitch and moan, rather than actual damage, he was still quite injured, but most of his mental capacities were intact, as the plating around his skull was in a whole other level compared to the rest of his body. Garo smiled raising an arrow he had on his hand. -Should I poke him until if find the reset button?- He jokingly asked to Eve. -That’s how I used to fix the router in my old JHWAB office.- The Psycho Cyborg’s expression soured as he quickly interrupted Garo’s threats. -Shut up you bloody fossil, just let me a bloody second to scan his face.- Falken grabbed the captive by the sides of his face while his red eye flickered sending a scanning light over the face of the captive, reading his facial traits. Even as battered as he was and with shitty climate his satellite uplink was good enough to transmit data, but calling weapons would take a bit more of time as he burnt through the bandwidth he bought for the mission and would only get more after a while. It didn’t take long to find an ID for the captive. Name: Nikolaos Abakumov Career: Mechanic Family: Only one living relative, Mother (65) Current Status: Missing Person
Falken recited the information he got. Garo, upon hearing it, couldn’t help to ask out loud. -Missing person? Shouldn’t he be enlisted?- The Old Archer felt like that piece of information was quite important.

Upon hearing the information, Alexander slowly approaches the Russian commander and removes his gag. "Nikolaos, you are going to explain-" Before he could finish his inquiry, the man shouts, "YOU DARE SPEAK TO ME! You fucking coward! Attacking a man from behind. Free me you ball less mummy, I'll show you how a real man fights! I'll beat you to death with my bare hands. If you think-" Before the man could finish, he is interrupted by a swift punch to his solar plexus, which knocks the wind out of him. As the Russian commander gasps for air, the gruesome hunter proceeds to grip the man by his hair and aggressively pulls the Russian leader closer to his disfigured face, though in such a way that he facing the uglier side of his face. "Funny, someone who is in charge of an ambush is questioning my honor as a man. But I'll be more than glad to let you free once you tell me what i want to know." Nikolaos replies without hesitation to Alex's offer with a head butt right to his hideous nose.
"Trust me существо, if it were just the two of us, I would have no issue. But I'm no fool when it comes to dealing with Скрытый мир." He looks at the other hunters, but seems to be focusing on Eve more than the rest. His facial expression even twists with utter contempt upon looking at her. "After all, its our job to deal with the сверхъестественное. Убейте или поработите врага" he said with conviction. Alex slowly, turns around as he examines his nose with a few careful hand gestures on his crooked nose to check to see if it is broken again. After ensuring himself that his sneezer is fine, he refaces the Russian commander and simply stares at the man for a few seconds as he debates with himself the best method he could use to break the Russian commander . But unfortunately he didn't have the luxury right now to play, especially since nothing he could do would satisfied him with only a couple of minutes to spare. "Getting information out of him now will take too much time. We should focus on our current task, and deal with him later. Best we contact Minister Hou, and tell him to retrieve him while we deal with the real threat. Maybe he can even bring us some new snowmobiles, but if it takes too much time, let's just leave Nikolaos tied up here. Though, to be safe..."
The ghoulish looking man gradually moves his fingers, causing his wire threads to tighten and cut into Nikolaos' knees. Even the hardy Russian leader couldn't prevent himself from screaming in pain as his tendons are sliced.

"Hm. Doesn't look like he's a Russian army regular. That's to be expected. The question is whether they're under the government as a regular hidden world force or a mercenary, and he's not going to answer that, is he?" Eve frowned at Alex's tactics. "None of that. If you got him to say anything, it would just be what he thinks we want to hear. They should sweep the area for our bodies soon, so calling Hou here is just putting his forces in danger, and they're limited enough already. So there's only one real option." Eve casually dropped a red grenade into her hands. Death and erasure of the evidence in one bomb. She loved these things. "I say we erase every trace of him." She walked to the far side of the clearing and threw the grenade right for the commander's lap. "And when we complete the mission here, maybe we'll erase the rest of this little unit as a vacation."

The disgusting sound of ligaments being sawed off caused to different reactions. Falken creepily smiled, enjoying being a witness of the Russian Commander’s pain. The Psycho Cyborg wanted to join in, but his hand didn’t enter a portal, a large holographic X appeared floating where his portals usually would. He let out a frustration-filled grunt and lowered his hands. -I can’t open my bloody arsenal so you’re going to have all the fun Quasimodo.- The Psycho Cyborg childishly kicked a mound of snow, pissed at himself about not having his torture kit on hand. But as Falken lamented his lack of tools to take the torture to the next level, Garo was burning with quiet rage. The Old Archer’s brow twitched with barely contained anger.
The moment he saw Eve throwing the grenade he snapped into action, grabbing the explosive mid-air and clutching tightly on the lever, to stop it from exploding. He was fast enough to perform such a feat. Garo glared at his boss. -Harper-san, the moment you forget your humanity, the moment you lower yourself to their level you stop being a hunter… and you become prey.- The severity on his steely eyes was as cold as the snow surrounding them and as intense as flames. Garo also talked to Alex. -And you Stevenson-dono, you’re a master of your craft, why lower yourself to petty torture when you could do much more.- A flickering blaze of honor still remained inside Garo, not out a moral imperative, but out his own pride as a hunter, since this level of inhuman conduct made them look more like the prey he used to hunt instead of comrades in the hunt.
-If you order me to throw this grenade to a defeated man who was serving his country I’ll do it.- Garo once again focused his attention on Eve. -You might gain a feeble advantage in this mission, but you will lose my respect.- The Old Hunter finished the ultimatum with a note of sadness. He disliked killing humans, especially defenseless ones, and he really wanted to keep considering Eve as a human, or at least her having a semblance of humanity. He saw her darker side while hunting Byaku in China, he didn’t want her to fall into the path of depravity. With Alex it was more out of professional appreciation, as he had developed a begrudging respect for the Wire Master and his craft. Falken was beyond any saving and just being forced to work with him was straining Garo’s relationship with Eve.

As the grenade is toss, the wire master is too shock by the sudden gesture to immediately respond in time to get rid of the fatal explosive. Thankfully Garo is more than capable of saving his captive. As Garo talks, Alex switches his focus between Eve and Garo for a few moments. He waits for the veteran hunter to finish before commenting, "There is no need to kill the man." He walks over to the Russian, who is still glaring at Eve with the same look of hatred that he has been staring at her before. There wasn't even an ounce of fear in the man. Even when she toss the grenade, he didn't even flinch. The gruesome hunter begins to bite his lip in mild annoyance at discovering that this man isn't afraid to die. Those types tend to be harder to deal with when gathering information. "For now..." He quickly delivers a quick jab to the man's chin, which knocks the man out cold. "...Either we leave him here, or we just take him with us. If we lose him as a causality during our next battle, so be it." After taking out the Russian, the disfigured man slowly gets up and walks over to Eve. Once he is within arms reach, he looks right into her eyes as he coldly states, "I don't care about Garo's sense of morality, but I will it hold it against if you every try to kill another one of my prisoners again without my consent."

Eve glared at Garo for a long moment, and for a second it looked like she would smash his face open. Then she sighed and shook her head. "Fine. Garo, throw that downwind." She grumbled, shoving past him to grab Nikolaos and throw him over her shoulder. She turned her glare to Alex. "Let's get something clear, Alexander. He is not your prisoner. You are under my authority and so he is my prisoner, and you will not torture him. Even Huntsman is better than that. Now shut him up for now. We don't need him giving away our position." She spoke with distaste. "Hopefully for his sake he's a decent hostage, eh?" The casual cheer was back to her voice suddenly as she walked away from the clearing.

Garo released the grenade launching it far and while it was still in mid-air he threw an arrow at it, pushing it way further, to use it as a lure for any patrols around searching for any remains, this would give the group a bit of a head-start. The detonation happened very far away, shaking the nearby trees and causing all the snow to abruptly fall from their branches while also being pushed by the shockwave, this would create an even bigger blast, at least look-wise, quite capable of catching the attention of anybody nearby. -So we need to reach the location of our target.- Garo heard Eve’s order and threw a single clean punch directly at the cautive chin, knocking him out cold, he might not be particularly strong, but his keen eye and pin-point accuracy also worked while aiming his knuckles at critical points. -Right?-
Falken was slowly recuperating his functions and while this happened he was picking up spare parts out of the drones nearby, breaking them out from their shells and placing them over open wounds so his nanites would consume any useful materials and use them to speed up his repairs, this wouldn’t give him a large improvement in performance, but at least it would speed up the recovery of his now lagging processing power and the ability to use portals at least minor ones to get conventional weaponry. -So sweet cheeks, where do we go? Lead the bloody way...- He asked as he placed ram boards over his shoulder and they got consumed by the black goo his nanites looked like.

A few minutes ago...
"Copy that," replied Commander Veronica into her walkie talkie as she received what she believes to be Nikolaos' report. "Good work comrade," she finished with a hint of pride in her voice. The other members of the 1st Enhance Special Forces Brigade could also hear the conversation over the walkie talkie. Ivan didn't seem to be affected whatsoever by the news. In fact, at the same time that the conversation finishes, his attention immediately switches to something else. And that something is getting closer to their general location, moving on top of the snow rather swiftly. He honestly didn't think there would be any animals in the area left, but he suppose that last earthquake is the catalyst for this recent migration. He hopes that they don't suffer if they happen to get close enough to the commander to be affected by her power.
Andrey on the other hand appears to be relieved when he hears the news. He always hated losing comrades, so taking care of the threat so quickly should translate into a short casualty list. Even after all these years and operations, he could never get use to it. At this point, he himself no longer fears death, but he can't bring himself to fully appreciate a mission, unless everyone gets back home alive. Yet he keeps these thoughts to himself, as he knew that there are plenty of his fellow soldiers that would be glad to give their life in serve. After all, they were taught that is the greatest honor obtainable in this life. However he can never look it in that way. But at least death rewarded them their freedom.
Yet the smallest member isn't happy about the outcome. "Hang on, did Nikolaos already take care of those guys? Damn it! I was hoping to get some more action today," cried Diana to herself. "Its not fair. I only got to fight only one person today! And I didn't even get to finish.” she said with an exaggerated pouty face. "Commander, you shouldn’t have stopped me. I don't understand you sometimes! Its like you don't want me to be happy," she complained for a moment, before returning to a positive attitude as she continues to say, "Though It was funny when the dumbass tried to melt Ivan before passing out," she laughed at the expensive of her fellow member. Ivan glares at her in return. "Hey, big guy, don't be like that. Its not like you were in any real danger.”
"Diana, you should count yourself lucky that Commander Veronica intervene when she did." Turning around with an expression of confusion, she asks, "You say something baldy? Cause if your looking to see if I will let you use Timmy as a wig, you are greatly mistaken." She quickly grabs her baby ram and puts the tiny creature in her arms as she sticks out her tongue at Andrey. "Why do you have to keep bringing up hair-" "-Lack of hair," Diana quickly replied. "-I really hate working with k-,” “-Hey! Were you always bald?” Getting annoyed now, he threatens her, ”Cut me off one more time and-" "-Commander! Andrey’s threatening me again!” She quickly hurries to Veronica’s side, as she tries to place her commander between herself and Andrey.
“Enough. We are nearly there. So stop messing around you two.” “Messing around?! I’m not the one-“ “-Yeah, stop goofing off Andrey! You are setting a bad example for Ivan." A small vein begins to appear on the side of his forehead. “Why you little…” Ivan suddenly stops, which causes the other members, including the commander, to stop in place as well. “What is it Ivan?” The gigantic ice figure points towards one of the mountains in the distance. At first the others couldn’t see what exactly is he trying to show him. Yet before he could elaborate further, the commander looks around as she could sense something approaching them. Normally she wouldn’t care, but what got her attention is the fact that her powers don’t seem to be stopping whatever is heading towards them….
“…..But…..Yes….Yes….Understood….Sir,” said the man in the blue suit right before he hangs up the phone. As soon as he finishes his phone call, he starts to rub his forehand in frustration on receiving his new orders. -Guess I ran out of time. The odds that I was going to keep Balashov for much longer were extremely low to begin with. But an immediate transport….- He didn’t anticipate that. Regardless, there is nothing he can do about it now. He will just have to deal with the current circumstance, and figure out his next moves accordingly.
*Knock Knock*
“What is it?!” A solider walks in to his office and immediately gives the man a proper salute and explanation for his presence, “The prisoner captured this morning has woken up, Sir.” “When did he wake up?” “About 20 minutes ago, Sir.” “20 minutes! Did I not gave an order for you to inform me immediately?” he asked before getting up from his chair and begins contemplate shooting the man with his pistol for his incompetence. “Sir, with all due respect, I was also following your order to not bother you while you were speaking with the supreme commander-” “-Fuck the supreme commander!” The solider eyes widen, but before he could properly respond, his head explodes in spectacular fashion as the man in the blue suit blows his brains out with an incredible quick draw. Looking at the gory remains he begins to inhale and exhale slowly. “I needed that,” he said to himself as he places his gun back in its holster. He was glad to have gotten a chance to release some of his frustration.
He slowly walks out of the room without any concern for the corpse or blood. As he exits his office, he is stopped by another officer. “Sir, there was a gunshot!” “No need for concern, I’m fine.” As he prepares to head towards the holding cell, he hears the faint sound of a gunshot, and another. Not long before a continuous noise of gunfire echoes throughout the hallways. “Sir, take a look at this.” The officer hands over a small tablet. Taking the tablet, the man in the blue suit examines the screen to see a split screen of numerous cameras. The cameras located in the back and middle of the headquarters shows soldiers arming themselves, meanwhile the cameras located in the front of the headquarters reveal the current situation. At the very front of the building, a few dozen dismembered soldiers are scattered right in front of the entrance. His eyes remain fix on the live feed, just long enough for him to notice shadowy blurs zipping into the building.
He quickly looks at a different camera perspective, one with soldiers shooting. Yet, even using this camera’s viewpoint he couldn’t make out what exactly his troops are shooting at, as his men are being quickly torn apart by these shadowy figures. The movements of these dark bodies are far too fast for his eyes to keep up. At least while relying on the cameras to see what is happening. Still, he didn’t need to witness what exactly is assaulting them to know the severity of the danger they are facing here. He drops the tablet and grabs the officer by his shirt, “FULL LOCK DOWN! I WANT ALL THE DOORS FROM HERE TO THE ENTRANCE CLOSED IMMEDIATELY!!!” He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a communication device, “Tell the pilots to get ready, we are going to evacuate with the package now. And tell the engineers to active the drones!” “Sir, what about the prisoner?” “Leave him. We need to get to the hangar room.”
Alex could only laugh when he finally realize what Eve and Falken share in common. He had to admit, her ego was something else. Plus, her sense of morality confused him. But he didn’t mind the words she spoke, or her threats for they meant nothing to him. Actions are far more crucial, and he is prepare to treat his “self-proclaimed leader” with the same treatment he would any other dangerous hidden world beast. Still, he rather they get along. After all, he finds her to be an amusing individual, but more important than that, she is a resourceful assest, even if she forgets herself at times. Besides, he knew if a conflict should ever arise between them, this wouldn’t be the best position for him to start a fight with her. Between his current injuries, and being surrounded by skilled men who will likely favor her side, his odds of coming out of that scenario weren't very high. For now, he will just focus on the mission at hand.
Returning to his typical silence, he follows his fellow hunters as they travel through the snow and towards their objective. From time to time, the blizzard would lessen for brief moments, and at other times it would be harsher. Yet never stopping for a moment. From the perspectives of the deity slayers, no normal human could tell what is happening twenty feet in front of them, but the hunters didn’t seem to be troubled by the weather enough to affect their sense of direction. As they walk through he massive woods, they eventually enter a clearing, with an open field of snow that is roughly a couple of hundred feet in-front of them, before the forest continues with even more trees. Yet, by the time they have manage to reach the middle of the field, the blizzard suddenly stops. Allowing the hunters to see what is clearly around them.
If someone is paying close attention to their general surrounding, they may notice that the blizzard appears to be continuing all around them in the distance, but for some bizarre reason, the snowstorm doesn’t seem to be affecting their current area at all. Still, the disappearance of the snowfall has been quickly replace by a series of powerful howls echoing in all directions, hidden behind the numerous rows of trees. The howls continue to increase both in volume and in quantity. At this point, Alex knew the noises are coming closer to them, yet he couldn’t tell how far away they are. He looks around trying to discover the source of the sounds, but he couldn’t see anything for a couple of seconds until a figure begins to emerge from the forest in front of them.
He expects to see another monster that he will need to put down, but is surprise when the strange figure turn out to belong to a man. Oddly enough, seeing what appears to be a human is more unsetting for him than if a monster had simply charge from the forest. For one thing, if this individual is indeed a human, he surely is far from mundane. The stranger begins to walk towards the hunters in an extremely comfortable fashion, even though he is wearing a simple black three piece suit, with no overcoat or anything that would provide one sufficient warmth for this weather. As the man continues to gets closer, another bizarre thing about him becomes more apparent if anyone is paying attention to his feet, since his dress shoes doesn't sink into the soft snow at all. Almost as if the man is walking on pavement. Once he gets close enough, the gruesome hunter could finally make out his face. And frankly, if he wasn’t here, this man would easily be the most hideous person in the forest. Like Alex, the stranger appears to be in his 50’s, as well as sharing some gruesome scars on his face, along with having pure white hair and an ugly mug to go with it. Unlike Alex, the man doesn’t seem to be disfigured, or have a disproportionate face. He is also a bit taller than the wire master, and much better groomed.
The stranger stops once he gets within 20 feet of the hunters, and quickly examines them, with the exception of Eve as his eyes skip over her completely. Yet he doesn’t take much time to quickly dismiss Falken and Garo as well. When his eyes focus on Alex, he seems to ponder over a thought for a brief moment, but it is evident that it wasn’t important as he didn’t keep his attention on the gruesome hunter for very long. “Well?” asked an extremely deep voice from behind the man. Alex’s eyes widen as a Knight in full massive plate armor with a blood red cloak wrapped around his shoulders suddenly shows up behind the man. It was as if the knight had been hiding behind the stranger’s shadow.
“No one here matches the description I was given.” he answered in annoyance. The man clearly didn’t care to bother dealing with the hunters, and simply chooses to ignore them as he continues his conversation. “I thought you sensed-“ “-I do…but frankly its too faint to pinpoint the exact person from the mountains.” The knight didn’t seem to be in a position to argue with the man. His eyes finally look at Eve for a split moment as if considering a plausible explanation. Eventually he sighs to himself, and reaches into his pockets to pull out a cigarette. As he is in the process of lighting his cigarette, he tells the Knight, “Well, guess we will just head to the other spot. It should be cleared by the time we get there.” “What about them. Considering the direction they are moving-” “-Not my concern. I already did my job. Let Darmiit handle them.” And with that he is already walking away from the hunters, however the knight doesn’t budge. After blowing a small puff of smoke he asks, “Something wrong?” “We shouldn’t risk it.” “We ain’t risking anything. Besides, don’t you think its more fun this way?” Even though his companion’s face is covered by a helmet, he could fell that the knight wasn’t going to leave here without something being done.
“Alright fine, how about this.” The man snaps his fingers, and immediately things begin to move within the nearby trees surrounding the hunters. Harsh growls soon follow the movement of massively lanky shapes emerging from the forest and into the clearing. The hunters now find themselves being encircle by hostile werewolves. Preventing any clear path to escape. “Satisfied?” The knight didn’t reply, but simply follow the man as they disappear in the forest. Once the man and the knight vanish from sight, the monsters rush towards the hunters.

Eve hunkered down cautiously as they trudged through the blizzard. She relied on her sight more than any other sense, and having that taken away made her utterly vulnerable. The open plains weren't good for Alex either, with no points to anchor his wires, and Garo and Falken would probably rather see what they were shooting. She jerked to a halt when the storm stopped, too suddenly to be natural. She instantly wheeled around, looking to the horizon in every direction. Her suspicions were raised by seeing that the storm hadn't left, it had just retreated.
"We should keep moving." She said, turning forward once more just in time to see the man leaving the forest before them. Even from a distance, she could pick out his odd features. The scars, the hair, the suit. "Friend of yours?" She asked Alex when the man reached them and seemed to be focusing on Alex, not even joking. She didn't know or want to know what Alex did in his time away from the others. He could totally know others who looked like him, especially if they were some sort of class of being or a condition. Eve honestly didn't know all that much about what was wrong with the crazed man. Same went for Falken. Now wasn't the time to ask of course, but her curiosity was piqued.
Her theories seemed quashed when the scarred man turned away to talk to the knightly sort behind him. Eve was considering taking a shot at them. They seemed suspicious enough to warrant it, especially the way they were talking. "Hey, mind explaining- fuck! Heads up! Circle facing outwards!" Eve dumped Nikolas into the snow into the middle of the circle her comrades hopefully formed with her. She had spotted the further figures coming from the forest and quickly determined they weren't friendly.
What the hell was this guy that he could pull this kind of shit? Another werewolf? Were the scars on his face silver related? She would find out later hopefully. For now she was busy. She fired a cannon shot at the nearest wolf and stepped to the side to speak with her teammate. "Alex, if we cover you, can you get the prisoner to the forest? I want you to make yourself and him a protective net." Prisoners were such an annoyance to keep alive.

Falken sneered at the blizzard, incapable of piercing through it as most of his sensors were still getting repaired by the torrent of nanites coursing his veins. He was reduced to the level of regular humans, thus he was feeling a bit insecure and as always he hid those feelings behind a mask of arrogance and bad attitude. -So we’re going to keep bloody walking in the bloody snowstorm?- Garo, who was focusing his instincts and his keen senses to keep a circle of vigilance around the team shushed the Psycho Cyborg with a gesture. Falken, obviously, wouldn’t just shut up. -Don’t tell me to shut up you third rate robin hood cover band, or I'm putting a bullet between your eyes.- The Old Archer shushed him again and the Psycho Cyborg wanted to reply but just before he started talking the howling started. -What the hell is that!?-
Garo turned around to see the incoming individuals, spinning with his heel as the axis while he readied his bow, putting two arrows on it, one for each individual. The Old Archer heard them while Falken tried in vain to identify them as he did with the Russian Commander, the blizzard was fucking with his sensors and his satellite uplink. Finally the enigmatic men left, leaving a band of rabid werewolves surrounding the group. Eve started shouting orders and Garo reacted accordingly. -I’ll open a path for you Stevenson...- The Old Archer made a small pause as he aimed. - -dono.- And finally added the honorific, even after the tense situation before or more likely because of it, as even if his reasoning was different Alex had pardoned the criminal. Garo started a breathtaking display of archery, shooting as fast as he could, aiming to the werewolves, but also putting 1 out of 3 arrows in the direction of the forest with a Wind-Walking charm on them, if Alex took that pathway he would be able to run much faster.
While the Old Archer hands moved like blurs of deadly motion setting the arrows and shooting them, Falken’s hand were a bit slower, as each time he attempted to open a portal a large bright red X floated where a portal should be. -Shit, shit and a thousand times shit!- The Psycho Cyborg exclaimed as he kicked a mound of snow, finally giving up on trying to open a portal to his arsenal even the conventional one. He took the knife he was carrying on his boot and stood in the ready -Come you furry motherfuckers! I’m going to fuck you up harder than anything in the internet seems to do!!-

Observing the werewolves with delight, the gruesome hunter couldn't wait to start playing with them. As Eve orders them to form a circle, Alex quickly gets in position, yet before long he is told to retreat to the forest with Nikolaos. For a brief moment, his excitement tempts him to stay and face the onslaught head on. Yet, what remains of the rational section of his brain quickly discards the foolish idea. After all, his wire threads were not very efficient in this sort of place, and also he knew if he doesn't secure his prisoner somewhere soon, the beasts will most likely rip him apart before they could even manage to cut their numbers in half. Plus, in a weird way, he feels obligated to protect his own captive from being harm, or killed, by others. Even though he normally does enjoy doing the harming and killing himself. As Garo release his arrows, he quickly tosses the Russian commander over his shoulder, and pulls out his infamous Colt. Trusting in his fellow hunters, he quickly makes a beeline straight for trees that Garo is guiding him towards with his arrows.
As he runs, which he is pleasantly surprise to discover that he can move a lot faster than normally thanks to Garo's charms, a few nearby werewolves rush at intercept him. Including one that leaps right in front of his path. Yet the monsters could not have evaded the veteran archer's shots in time, as arrowheads plunge straight into their chest, causing the beasts to be momentarily stun by the blow. However, none of the supernatural creatures appear to be fatally wounded by the arrows. In fact, most of them aren't even bleeding from the penetration. Still, Alex took that window of opportunity to aim and shot at the werewolf directly in front of him with his Colt. When the bullet makes contact, the entire body violently explodes. Yet Alex is shocked when there is no gory bits flying everywhere, but instead it is if the beast has somehow manage to transform into a bomb. Upon its death, a greenish energy pulse erupts. The blast generates such a powerful force that when it smashes into Alex, it launches him thirty feet backwards, while also managing to fling the Russian commander of his back and away from him. Nikolaos ends up landing about twenty feet away from Alex on his left side. As the gruesome hunter falls into the snow, a couple of other werewolves break off from the pack. A small group of three run towards Alex, and two other werewolves charges towards the wrapped body of the Russian commander, who still remains unconscious.
The majority of the pack continue to circle around the clearing as to make sure that no-one else attempts to leave, but another group soon emerges to attack the hunters in the middle of the clearing with their backs against each other. This group consistent of about half a dozen werewolves, with each beast assaulting from a different angle from each other. Their movements are incredible fast. A normal human wouldn't be able to properly follow them. At best they may simply see blackish blurs moving over the snow. However these creatures don't move in a simple straight line, but rather zigzag and adjust with quick dashes. Mostly likely, they are consistently changing their body's motion in order to avoid the arrows that they just witness strike their brethren. The beasts press forward with unbelievable agility as they prepare to tackle the hunters and tear them limb to limb with the combination of their teeth and claws.

Eve was just as surprised as Alex at the exploding werewolf. "What the hell..." She mumbled as she dropped a yellow grenade from her chest into her hand. She wasn't going to chose between shooting the wolves near herself, those going for Alex, or those going for Nikolas. "Heads down, eyes closed, ears covered, now!" She yelled, throwing the grenade straight up into the air. She ducked and both her ears and eyes sealed up just before the grenade went off, releasing a thunderous sound great enough to burst the ears of everybody within a hundred yards along with light like the sun, glaring down in an inescapable haze.
As soon as the light faded, she was rising, eyes and ears peeling open. The flashbang should be extra effective on sensitive beings like these, giving everybody a gap to act in. She used hers to throw a punch for the closest werewolf's long snout to make him a bulldog on her way to Falken's side. He was the least capable of taking care of himself right now. "Don't whine that I'm helping you." She popped blades from her knees and exposed the massive stungun implanted in her off arm. She used them in combination to save off the bestial humanoids alongside Falken. "Get back and put your energy into regeneration! Garo, help me keep him alive!" She yelled back. "And yes, I will know if you accidentally don't!"

Garo and Falken obeyed Eve’s order, covering their ears and looking away from the explosion above them. The Old Archer considered the situation, as he noticed the lack of blood and the exploding werewolf, this most likely meant some kind of magical summon or something akin to that, but he wasn’t completely sure, so he didn’t take any steps in that direction, fearing being in the wrong and making things worse. He loaded his bow with five arrows, and as he avoided an attack spinning out of the way with his knees as the supports for his body, something he would surely regret after the mission ended and he felt his age catching up to him. From this kneeling position, more akin to a rockstar power-slide than an actual martial technique he unloaded the five arrows on the enemy that just attacked, while he rolled out of another attack and with his back against the snow he shot another arrow, aimed to the kneecap of the new opponent, surely cutting any dreams of adventure the werewolf might had.
Meanwhile Falken wasn’t having such a good time, as the werewolves attacks hit home every time. His outer frame was taking much of the force of the attacks, cells of his artificial skin flying off when the claws of the beasts reached his skin. Finally Eve started helping him, but Falken, his heart being a black hole devoid of any good vibes whatsoever, was an asshole about it. -You think I want to get mauled and not focus on regenerating?- The Psycho Cyborg dropped to the ground dodging a claw swipe that almost got his neck. -I could bloody ask this furry assholes for a break to get patched up.- The sarcasm on his tone was not only noticeable, it was overacted to the point of ridicule. But his frustrated smirk became a sinister one upon hearing the order Eve shouted at Garo. -The old fart protecting me?- He stood on his place while making the joke, too focused on insulting the Veteran Hunter, even over his own survival. -Is that some kind jok*CLANG*!- Falken’s taunts were interrupted when an arrow shot by Garo hit him right on the shoulder, hitting the metallic bones.
-You son of a bloody c- Once again the Psycho Cyborg’s insult stopped midway as the claw of a werewolf bounced off his skin, now empowered with an Iron Charm that Garo pierced against him with the arrow tip. Even so Falken, who returned to playing defense glared at the Old Archer, who ignored him. -This is going to cost you…- He whispered as he dodged another swipe by millimeters.

As the beasts prepare to lunge at Alex, he could hear Eve's warning just in time to cover his ears and look away right before the flashbang goes off. Once the bright light disappears, he looks up to see that all the werewolves's heighten senses completely works against them as they were utterly overwhelm by the light and sound of the flashbang. With the predators stun, the gruesome hunter takes this moment to unleash a series of wire threads, and quickly wrap around the limbs of the creatures surrounding him to each other. As they struggle in their confuse state to remove the wire threads, they only cause each other to trip and make the sharp threads restricting their appendages squeeze even tighter. Once he is satisfied with dealing with the beasts planning to eat him for dinner, he refocuses his attention to the Russian Commander.
Unfortunately for Nikolaos the werewolves have began to regain their senses, and quickly commit to tearing him apart. Luckily the beasts aim for his torso area, which Alex can only assume is due to their desire to eat at the biggest part of the body. Regardless of the creatures' reasoning, they start to bite at the Russian's body, only to discover that their teeth and jaws weren't sharp, enough to pierce through the wire thread wrapped around Nikolaos. However, the werewolves are certainly delivering enough powerful to break his bones, as Alex could heard the Russian's bones snapping from twenty feet away. At this point, the Russian commander quickly wakes up to in a combination of agony and freight, as he could see nothing but massive black fur and teeth attacking his body. He quickly screams in pain and shouts for his men to help him in Russian. He desperately tries to break free of the beasts' grip, but could do nothing as the wire threads protecting him from being torn to pieces, also prevent him from moving.
Alex quickly rushes over to the the endanger man, while constructing a wire thread javelin. As he approaches, one of the beast turns and snares at him, only to be cut off by having a javelin thrown right into its chest, causing the creature to fall backwards. By the time it hits the snow, the other beast turns to face Alex and swipes at his head with one of its claws. Thanks to the wire thread suit covering his entire body, including his head, it prevents the claw from tearing his face off, but the force behind the blow knocks Alex straight to the ground. Before he could even attempt to get up, the werewolf that had just hit him, leaps right onto the gruesome hunter and proceeds to slam one of its massive claws against his head, pinning him in the snow. The massive beast quickly lifts Alex by his head and stands fully upright. The creature stood at nearly ten feet tall on its hind legs, and appear to be preparing to bite at the neck of the hunter.
Meanwhile, when the other werewolves recover from the flashbang, some swiftly break their circling formation, and rush towards the other hunters. Creating a miniature stampede. In a few short seconds Eve, Falken and Garo will be dealing with roughly three dozen more werewolves attempting to overwhelm them with a combination of their speed, fangs, and unintentionally with their numbers. They even disregard their injured brethren, going so far as to stomping on the werewolf that Alex had just thrown his wire thread javelin into. Oddly enough, no beast seem to share much companion for the other members of the pack, nor work as a team, as all of them compete against each other to see who can get to their prey first. Yet not all the incoming beasts head towards the people standing, a few break off to continue to assault the helpless Russian commander.

"Save your energy for getting your arsenal online! You're the best suited for numbers like this!" Eve yelled back at Falken as she dropped two grenades into her hands. She juggled them right into the crowd and jumped back just in time for them to explode into vast blue fireballs. The plain was suddenly comfortably warm for Eve as greedy blue flames that could melt iron spread out from the blast points, about 20 feet square each at the limits of their range. It was deadly on its own, but it also limited the angles the werewolves could attack from. Eve stood in the opening between the two flames and threw punches with her stun gun, enough electricity to kill a grown man and hopefully enough to stun the wolves long enough she could shove them into the flames. She kept a careful eye on her batteries. This weapon didn't last long without needing to recharge. Nothing about her was built for these pitched, long term battles with masses and she was already in two of them today. She was nearly out of grenades!

Garo kept spinning and twirling moving from his knees to the ground and back to his knees. He was using classic jujutsu techniques, defensive stances from the Seiza sitting stance, the ceremonial kneeling position of Japan. Under regular circumstances he would be feeling the pain on his joints, but thankfully doing this on soft and cold snow was helping a lot to stop any inflammation or extreme strain. From this dervish dance of rolls and twists he was shooting a veritable storm of arrows, projectiles being aimed at every articulation he saw, trying to hinder the enemy movements to allow the rest of the team to take them out. Hunting monsters in a snowstorm was basically his natural habitat and thus he was performing at a higher gear than usual, you could almost say that his reflexes, instincts and aim were in top gear. Silent and grim faced, Garo embodied a Hunter, aiming for weakspots while avoiding contact with the enemy through evasive techniques, using the environment to his advantage.
Falken wasn’t so hot, even with the reinforcement from the Iron charm that Garo hit him with, he was still getting struck by the werewolves and losing valuable artificial skin, that helped him recharge with solar energy. The more he got hit, the less would he able to self recharge. The Psycho Cyborg was getting his ass handed to him. -You bloody furry freaks!- An attack, added to the slippery ground, knocked him off his feet, his back sliding on the snow. The beasts charged in and Falken, sensing his impending doom almost fell into despair, actual despair without sarcasm or insults to hide it, but today wasn’t the day for an emotional break-out, but a day of hunt and thus whichever god was peeking at the adventures of the hunters smiled on Falken as his uplink with the Arsenal finally went online. There wasn’t time to pick a weapon so he plunged his hand into the portal, which was more or less glitching, so he had to take a small weapon. His hand came out with two really elegant and elaborate sticks, that ended in two large gemstones connected to several cables that pierced into the crystals with nail-like protuberances.
-This will bloody do.- He said as he picked one on each hand and shook them in front of him, directly aimed at the incoming wolves. -GO BACK TO TUMBLR YOU BLOODY REJECTS!- And with that battlecry he activated the Hidaka Vibration Field Generators. They converted kinetic energy applied to them into a sonic vibrational field, that serves as concussive force and was capable of hyper-charging any liquid that came in close contact, causing it to boil. Any werewolf close enough would basically burn from the inside out. Falken stood up and started hitting the air sending shockwaves and if any werewolf got too close he would aim directly at them, surely causing a gruesome explosion upon contact.

The combine efforts of Eve, Falken, and Garo have cut down the number of enemies by nearly half, yet the remaining beasts' bloodlust did not allow for fear of death. They continue their assault with no hesitation as they seek to rip apart the group . Even among the explosions and shouting, somehow the horrible screams of agony from Nikolaos manages to sound out the other noises. The Russian commander does what little he could while his blood darkens their fur and satisfies their throats. The wolves finally manage to tear apart the wire threads around the man body. Allowing him some freedom of movement to strike back with what remaining strength he has left, but it is simply too late to stop the creatures from mauling the man. During his final moments, he manages to pull out a hidden knife trap in the layers of his clothing. With one careful thrust, the point of the blade goes straight through the eye of one beasts, traveling deep enough to strike its soft brain inside. The now one eyed wolf stumbles backwards with the hilt of the knife rubbing against its face. A moment later its body collapses onto the snow, at the same moment that Nikolaos draws his last breath with content that he could take one of the creatures with him with his last act.
The gruesome hunter raises both hands simultaneously as the creature's teeth are a few inches away from penetrating his neck. One hand holds the Colt, which he uses to fire at point blank. Again, as the bullet ripples the wolf, the beast begins to shimmer as its body prepares to erupt into an explosion. Yet this time he is ready. With his other hand, he creates a thickly waves wall of threads around himself to protect himself from the blast. The force launches him flying backwards. This time he is fortune enough to land near his comrades. While struggling to gets back to his feet, he wonders what exactly is causing these wolves to explode whenever he shots them. He looks around and notices Eve punching the monsters with high voltage electricity, causing them to be momentarily stun. He turns towards his side to witness Garo's delivering the greatest archery performance he has ever seen. He quickly grasps the advantage the man has with the terrain. Wondering if this is how he was back in his prime. His scans the battlefield until he spots Falken, who is using another one of his strange devices to painfully kill any wolves foolish enough to charge at him. His eyes eventually move away from the machine man and back to his previous location. Where he could see a small crater, filled with what remains of the beasts that had killed his prisoner.
Once he gets back to his feet, a mighty roar emerges across the landscape, powerful enough to shake the trees and ground they stand on. The sharp and violent noise catches the immediate attention of the pack. The creatures soon howl to one another, yet even in unison their howls could not compete with the thunderous roar, which Alex could tell it is not coming not from the forest, but from behind the mountains in the distance. He could also tell by the tone of the surrounding wolves, that they have become frighten. The beasts suddenly break their formation and retreat back into the woods. Shocked at the sudden development, he didn't make any attempts to capture one of the fleeing beasts. Suddenly, the air above their heads returns to its extremely cloudy state before the heavy snowfall begins again. However as the wolves were leaving, a new growl emerges from the forest. A sound too unique to belong to the ongoing roar enveloping the terrain, nor any member of the pack. All he knew is that whatever is making that noise is heading right for the hunters. However, before Alex could get a chance to alarm the others, a heavy object crashes right behind the group.
Alex turns around and his eyes widen. As Roughly 30 feet away from him, an impressive specimen on its hind legs glares down on them. He has never seen anything like this before, yet maybe Eve will find the creature familiar in some way. Compare to the wolves they had just face, it is easily much larger. Upright it stands above 20 feet, along with possessing a body that must weigh more than 10 tons of pure muscle alone. Covering its body is a thick white hide, along with various spikes of different sizes. The great majority of them cluster on its back. Its head oddly enough resemble a bird's. Both in shape, and how its four eyes were spread apart, with an eye located at each corner of its face. All the eyes are red, with each one containing its own unique variance of the color. The beast's skull also appears to be connected to its body at the back of the neck, allowing it to have a full range of motion and visibility. However, unlike a bird, it does not have a beak, but a jaw full of razor sharp teeth similar to a shark. The figure of the creature is extremely humanoid, at least when it comes to the torso, and the upper portion of its appendages. Especially when studying the muscle structure. The bizarre creature doesn't even have a tail. Yet from the elbows and the knees down its body parts start to become even more animalistic. With mighty claws replacing where hands and feet would have been.
The roar from earlier soon fades away, along with its echoes. Soon there isn't any other noises besides the heavy breathing of the massive monster in front of Alex. As he tries to make a step back to create some distance, the creature, moving far faster than the wire master could have anticipated, steps forwards and swats the gruesome hunter with the back of front paw. Thankfully the paw didn't have any spikes of it, otherwise Alex would have been impaled, wire thread suit or not. Again the ghoulish man finds himself flying through the air. This time landing against a tree with enough force to snap the trunk.
"Do you think they died already?" "Which group?" "All of them hopefully," he answered with a sly smile. The Knight's reaction is well hidden by his helmet. "Besides if they aren't died already, they may soon be." "Are you that confident in the Raviwr Kluchud?" "And why wouldn't I be," the man answered with a shrug. "I created them myself. Heck, this is turning out to be a good test." The knight remains silent for a moment before asking, "A good test for who exactly?" The man chooses not to reply to the question, but instead pulls out another cigarette. "We should be there soon," he said nonchalantly as he lights the cigarette.

Eve was backing up. It took her slightly longer to kill a wolf than it did for the next to come charging through the bottleneck, so each one drove her a few steps back. It wouldn't be long before she was entirely driven back and they would come at her two, three, or more at a time. Fortunately it never got to that point. The wrathful roar seemed to shake the wolf pack as much as it did the earth, and even as she retreated further, she was thankful it came. She would rather deal with one monster than many. It would take more than 30 minutes to construct more grenades from the spare parts in her coat. "Regroup!" She yelled to the others as she popped grenade components into her mouth like pills.
She turned when she heard the sound of a massive object hitting the ground. She hadn't heard anything before that. They were dealing with a leaper apparently, or she would have heard footsteps. That or it teleported. Of course, that was about all she could determine about it, because nothing about it made any sense. It was like a mishmash of several different beings all shoved into an incongruous body. Before she could figure out what she was looking at, it swatted Alex back into the woods. Her eyes widened with shock and she thrust out her cannon to take a shot. With a noise that seemed pitiful and minute compared to its own roar, she fired her cannon at its chest, center mass. She didn't expect it to kill, and she was already taking steps backwards. "Fighting retreat towards the woods! We need to pick up Alex and it should be to our advantage anyway!" She declared as she backed up, fishing another cannonball from her coat.

Garo, too immersed on his archery frenzy didn’t even notice the newcomer, while Falken, a bit less focused as he connected another attack with an off-hand attack, did see the gigantic creature. The Psycho Cyborg contained a momentary chuckle as he realized that whatever that creature was after he dealt with Alex he would move to the others, potentially him. So following Eve’s instructions he started retreating, hitting the floor as he rushed forward. He meant to create a steam cover by using the vibrational field generators to hyper-heat the snow and turn it into gas. The Old Archer, hearing the incoming enemies started moving backwards while shooting more Charms on arrows, this time barrier ones. They wouldn’t work for more than a single use, blocking the path of anybody stupid enough to crash into them and then they would shatter. After this quick succession of arrows he ran towards the forest, rolling over Alex and picked him up in a fireman's carry, following Falken and Eve.

The Raviwr Kluchud stares down his prey as the hunters run deeper and deeper into the woods. The beast remains still as each of its four eyes scan the area with none of the eyes looking in the same direction. The snowfall, nor steam created by Falken's weapon, seem to be bothering its vision. As the distance between them increases, the creature snaps its hideous jaw repeatedly in a fashion that could have been mistaken for laughter. The steroid looking monster soon gallops forward. Smashing into a series of trees and force fields that Garo had set up. Whenever the creature collides against a barrier, its momentum would come to a complete halt, which greatly frustrates the beast. After crashing into its fifth barrier the Raviwr Kluchud proceeds to roar with a terribly loud and high pitch scream. It would have been comedic for the massive creature to make such an unexpected noise had it not been for its unstable and devastating affect on any remaining wildlife. Animals painfully collapse to the ground with blood flowing out the orifices of their ears. The misshape creature soon searches the ground with its gigantic claws to scope up any fallen trees within reach. While it keeps on shouting in its irritating high pith scream, it begins to hurl trees at the hunters. Though no single throw is accurate enough to hit a hunter dead on, it doesn't seem to matter to the creature. The beast rushes towards the hunters, all while managing to rip out nearby trees from the ground to threw at the hunters as it continues its artillery assault.
