Eve stumbled when the creature's scream sliced through her eardrums. There was a moment of disorientation when sound vanished from the world before she found her footing again. Deaf, she didn't hear the trees being ripped from the earth, just feeling it through her feet like the distant rumblings of a volcano. She figured it was just the creature gaining until a tree struck her back. It wasn't a good feeling, getting hit by a tree. Even for somebody as durable as Eve, it was like a regular human getting hit by a car. At least in the impact. Usually when you are hit by a car, you end up going over. Eve went under, letting the tree roll until it slowed to a stop from every other tree in its path stealing its momentum. Pressed into the ground, she could feel more shaking. This time, she was sure at least some of it was the beast gaining on her. Alright. That was fine. This was a good place for it.
She raised her face, flesh torn away from half of it and head dented in like a car that had a sledgehammer taken to it. "Surround it! Use the trees as cover! Move it if it knocks down the tree you're behind! No still moments!" She called, as loud as she could. Her lungs were thankfully alright. Seems her liver took most of the impact. She spun, ignoring the snaps and crunches in her abdomen. Her cannon unveiled itself and she popped her last grenade into it, a red grenade that would spread gas that ate away at solid objects faster than a swarm of nanopiranhas. She fired it as the creature approached, center of mass. Hopefully, Garo and Falken weren't deaf as well and were flanking the beast, giving it hell from both sides. She wanted this thing confused about who to strike. It was the best way to deal with a single superior foe.

Garo didn’t have time to check Alex’s state, just managing to pick him up and keep running. Even with the snow and the cold climate so much activity was starting to weigh on the Old Archer, who realized that picking up the Grotesque Hunter himself wasn’t the best course of action. The high pitched scream disoriented Garo, who fell to the side, thankfully this placed a large tree in-between himself and the monster’s projectiles, saving him and Alex from getting bludgeoned to death by flying flora. The Veteran Hunter placed Alex against the large trunk doing a quick check-up. His experienced fingers looked for injuries, finding a couple of ribs broken and noticing some of the perforations caused by the drones. -Stevensson-dono is down for the count!- Garo shouted as he loaded a couple of arrows on his bow, reinforcing them with Iron Charms, hoping that would be enough to pierce the monster’s hide.
As Garo peeked out of cover, shooting the arrows at the Raviwr Kluchud kneecaps, Falken was zig-zagging across the forest cursing his mouth off. -FUCK! FUCK! FUUUCK!- His hands plunging into the Hyperspace Arsenal where he hid all his weapons. The Psycho Cyborg’s current sorry state stopped him from accessing the higher functions of his wondrous storage, being incapable of picking the weapon and basically opening portals at random. Finally he decided to grasp a weapon, taking out the Tendou Variable Weapon and with the press of a button it shifted from its natural Kunai to Blaster mode, while a speaker said “WALK THE PATH OF HEAVEN”. With a weapon in his hands Falken starting taking extremely accurate potshots of plasma aimed at the joints of the monster chasing them, Garo and Falken had the same idea, stop it from moving before attacking for real.

The beast's eyes begin to focus on each individual hunter. Its upper right eye follows Garo's movements, and its upper left eye keeps track of Falken's wherabouts. And with Alex being unconscious, the creature could use its remaining lower eyes to keep track of Eve. Thus, even when the hunters separated, it didn't lose sight of any of them. The Raviwr Kluchud ceases its bombardment of trees once the group splits; however, it did not stop charging forward. Guided by its instincts, it goes after the least agile prey. The muscular beast quickly tosses a tree in its claw to the side and begins to run on all fours, doubling its momentum immediately with the sudden increase in its acceleration. The monstrous creature's makes a beeline straight for its target without any concern for the other two hunters shooting at his body with their weapons. The beast manages to close the distance in no time, and prepares to pounce Eve and turn her into tiny pieces of scrap metal, when suddenly the creature stops as it begins to feel a weird sensation coming from its chest area. The sudden irritation quickly turns into agony as it could feel its skin being eaten away by the toxic red gas. This time its screams weren't high pitch, but deep and full of pain. By the time the gas dissipates, Eve's attack had successful eroded a good portion of its hide covering its upper torso, exposing the thick muscle fibers underneath.
At first, Garo's arrows would merely snap and bounce off the creature due to the overwhelming force of the beast's charge and the toughness of its skin. Yet, once the beast stopped moving, the arrows are having an easier time impaling themselves. The arrows also receive assistance from Falken's plasma shots, which continues to damage the protective skin covering the joints, making it more vulnerable to the old archer's shots. Yet, the arrows did not penetrate deep enough to cripple the bizarre creature. Within a few seconds the juice head looking monster quickly recovers from its abrupt pain induce paralysis, and swiftly proceeds to release another high pitch scream as it aims to temporarily stun the hunters before leaping high into the air. Because of its white skin and fur, the creature quickly disappears into the snowy atmosphere. The blizzard continues to rain heavy snow onto the forest as nearby tress begin to bend underneath the accumulating weight of the snow. Using the advantage of its extraordinary senses, it could tell where exactly the hunters are. Reaching behind its neck, it pulls out two large spikes that was sticking out of its back. Each spike is roughly 6 feet in length, and a foot wide, along with containing numerous smaller spikes covering its surface.
Not long after removing the spikes, the creature begins to fall towards the earth while holding a spike in each claw. As its body is on a trajectory to slam down on Eve with enough force to fatten the world's largest dump trunk, it quickly throws the spikes towards the ground. Each spike aiming at the general area of the other hunters. Again, the beast's accuracy is rather poor, as the spikes would land a couple of feet away from Garo and Falken, yet the beast did not need his spikes to hit them directly. For once the spike hits the ground, the force of the impact will cause an erupt in a fashion similar to a rubber ball grenade, except the spikes wouldn't be expel numerous rubber balls, but instead thousands of miniature and superdense spikes that will be traveling at supersonic speeds. Each of these tiny spikes would be comparable to the size of a shotgun shell, while capable of crossing a 1,000 meters in a roughly the span of a single second and possessing the piercing force to rip through reinforce steel as easily as bullet could penetrate tissue paper. In fact, a few miniature spikes that is unleash from the spike moving towards Garo, could very well reach Falken and Eve's positions. And likewise for the spike aim at Falken.

Eve smiled in grim satisfaction at her work. She took no pleasure in the suffering of dumb animals, but she did take pride in her inventions working as intended. The creature's reaction gave her plenty of time to reload. She was out of grenades, but good old cannonballs would do. If she survived long enough to use them anyway. She squinted into the white sky, even her eyes unable to pierce the blizzard's haze. Her only warning of its descent were the spikes coming from the clouds like bolts thrown by Zeus. Her arm worked on its own to thrust her body aside, just in time to avoid the force of the beast's drop. Unflattened, she felt the force of its descent shake the earth. She was close enough to see the individual hairs on its foot. She turned her stun gun arm up to its maximum voltage, enough to drain every bit of its juice in one go, for it was also close enough to use that. She reached out for the beast's foot to shock it silly.

Falken, seeing the movements of the monster started looking for cover, jumping underneath the roots of a tree, that barely elevated from the ground created a perfect hiding spot, even so he received several impacts that managed to pierce through the wood and the slowly decaying protection from Garo’s charm didn’t help. -BLOODY HELL THESE THINGS STING!- He cried with frustration, feeling the pain coursing his body, his system wasn’t up and running yet and the personalization of pain receptors was still locked on basic mode. Falken wondered why the hell whoever built him decided to add the feature of pain receptors, but if he ever met him he would punch him in the dick. The Psycho Cyborg didn’t understand that pain was a natural advantage to gauge how screwed you are after getting damaged. The force was enough to push him out of his cover, causing him to fall flat on his back a couple of meters away, small patches of black blood dyeing the snow underneath him.
The Old Archer, cold as the snow surrounding him reached a different conclusion about how to proceed in face of the creature attacking them. His breathing slowed down, knowing that going for cover would put Alexander in risk of getting even more damaged. Garo breathed as the beast took out his spikes. Methodically his hands reached to pick four already charmed arrows, recognizing them by the cuts on the feathers, 3 Iron and 1 Barrier. -I’m the hunter and it is the prey.- In an almost inaudible whisper the Veteran Hunter let out what could amount to a “mantra” focusing his energy on what he was about to do. He summoned his Ki, something he didn’t like to do, mostly doing his work with his baseline stats. The thick, barely active, steel grey aura covered Garo’s body. What he was about to do wasn’t something he would usually do, or should do, but he knew that they needed to tend to the Grotesque Hunter’s injuries soon.
-I’m the hunter and it is the prey- The Old Archer repeated his words as he readied the barrier and iron arrows. He shoot them consecutively as the enemy was winding up his arm to throw the spike. The Barrier arrow hit the floor meters in front of him, while the Iron arrow hit the base of the surging barrier, changing it from faint gold to shiny dark silver. The second Iron arrow he used to pierce his own leg, not having time to pull a charm to do it as the monster’s arm was starting to move towards him. This feat of speed was accomplished through the usage of Ki, but there was a catch. Garo was old, his body full of dozens of scars from years of monster hunting. The usual empowerment granted by Ki needed a strong body to withstand the strain, even while being reinforced by Ki. The Old Archer lacked the conditioning to move faster than the speed of sound and right now, pouring his whole Ki into speeding up his reflexes he was breaking that mark with ease.
The strain on his muscles, the fibers stretching further and faster than even before, was slowly getting to him. His enhanced perceptions, noticing even from afar the gradual release of the Raviwr Kluchud’s claws on the spike, pushed him to move even faster. A snapping sound indicated that one of his ligaments was tearing or very close to, the pain was all over his body, so he wouldn’t know which one was it until he stopped. As two of the claws had already stopped gripping the spike Garo charged the last arrow to his bow and while he did he twisted it, his dextrous fingers placing it in a secret position part of the Ten no Ya school of Archery. - I’m the hunter and it is the prey- As the spike was finally released, surely with a shockwave as it passed the sound barrier, Garo also released his own projectile.
KAMI NO SHOMEI (DIVINE LIGHTING ⛈)
Before the spike managed to hit the ground in front of the Old Archer, his arrow was already meters away from hitting the monster on one of its eyes. The spike hit as Garo crouched trying to use his clothing as protection, but his battered body didn’t react as he wanted, his leg giving out under his weight, evidence of the ligament damage he sustained after fighting the wolves and straining his muscles even more. The spike fragments hit the first barrier, at first resisting them, but soon it broke and the remaining scattershot hit Garo. Even with his charm the speedy fragments pierced through his reinforced clothing and one of them hit the Old Archer right in the left eye, making him fall on his back grabbing his face, as a blood spurt warmed his uncovered fingers. His choked scream, the pain enough to paralyze his throat, faintly echoed against the trees.

The Raviwr Kluchud's leg twitches as Eve hits him with a high voltage of electricity, causing the beast to be temporary stun. Its four eyes violently shift their focus on Eve. Once the battery of her device dies the creature prepares to send her six feet under. Yet before he could bring down his gruesome claws, Garo's arrow finds its mark and pierces the target perfectly. "RRRRWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWRRRR" the monster cried with intense agony as the old archer's shot enters the upper right eye socket of the behemoth. The abomination's screams completely overwhelms the old man's wailing. Staggering backwards the hurt creature could only swat the right side of its head in blind fury as if attempting to smack away whatever is responsible for the horrific pain inflicting it.
Soon enough a claw manages to hit the shaft of the arrow with enough force to knock the projectile to the ground with the eye still attach to the arrowhead. The injury quickly erases any attention the predator once had for Eve as it begins to move towards the direction of the elderly hunter. Guided by instincts it randomly begins to swing its muscular arms in every direction. Cracking any snow covered tree in half within reach as it makes its way to Garo and Alex's position. Judging by its movement, Eve will notice that it has become significantly slower as the leg she shock is still slightly paralyze, and what little intelligence the beast posse had also been destroyed by the arrow.
Among all the snowfall and noise, a soft moan exits the throat of the gruesome hunter as he starts to regain consciousness. At first the world appears to be only white to him and he could hear nothing besides the roars of the Raviwr Kluchud. But it didn't take long for him to make out other visible details around him. The first thing he notice is the surrounding trees. Once he adjusts his head he quickly notes the numerous spikes around his body. Oddly enough they all are about a few feet away from his body. Yet he didn't think anything of them with just a quick glance. Believing that the pieces are simply large splinters that belong to the tree he has just been launch into.
However as he examines the area for a for more seconds seconds he recognizes the unfamiliarity of his location, which helps him deduce that he has been moved. When he first woke up he assume he had only been out cold for a few seconds, otherwise the monster that assaulted him would have killed him by now. Unless... I owe at least one of them a favor. But who... As he turns his head to scan the rest of the area he spots Garo thrashing around in pain. "Garo," he grunted in torment when he tried to get up, only to discover broken ribs. Using his wire thread suit he forces his body to move, yet before he could get close to the old man, the creature emerges from behind them.
Alex reaches into his pocket and manages to grab the handle of the Colt. As he pulls the weapon out he could finally make out what is charging at him."Fuck you're beautiful," the gruesome hunter whispered before firing a bullet at the expose muscle fibers of the abomination. The bullet found its mark and implodes inside the creature's chest cavity. The Raviwr Kluchud immediately collapses into the snow. While gasping for air in between heavy guttural sounds, the monster's gradually crawls its way towards Alex. The wire master wouldn't budge an inch as it approaches him. Alex just watches the suffering beast get closer to him until it is is within arm's length of the ghoulish man, but by then five seconds have already pass. As it opens its mouth to have one last meal the gruesome hunter fires another round.

Eve fell back when the beast staggered away. She was shocked she was alive. Well, not quite. She would have survived getting smashed into paste for a bit, but not for long. She wasn't Huntsman, where liquidation was a mere inconvenience. It was the price of her thundering cannon and the armor that shone deep in her body. She could hear the beast howling and thrashing, but she couldn't move to see. She took a deep breath.
Her lower body peeled apart, starting from her feet and traveling up until everything below her waist was pulled away like a elongate flower petal, leaving behind only twisted metal that was vaguely reminiscent of a human pelvic girdle and leg bones, although it wouldn't be quite identical even when in full repair. The bones were much larger in comparison to the flesh upon them and there were far fewer bones; the tibia and fibula were one bone, and the foot lacked both individual heel bones and toes. Eve tilted herself upright. How long has it been since I had to do this? I think it was that time with the oxygen elemental. Fuck that thing.
She forced herself along the ground at a snail's pace, using her former legs as tentacles to pull her across the ground. She pulled herself towards gunshots and screams and eventually she reached them, rounding a tree. "Garo! Alex! Are you alright!?" She saw the beast and raised her cannon, but it was unnecessary. The creature's head was entirely gone, not even paste. Its blood stained its fur and the snow alike and she could see right into its insides through the stump left when its head was blown off. Eve instantly took her eyes away from it and dove for Garo. "Garo! Garo, hold still! Calm down!" She yelled, seeing some of the spines sticking from his body. This thrashing was just going to make things worse. "Alex, if you can manage it, hold him still!" Her heart squirmed in her chest. She wasn't sure she wanted a good look at the damage. There was a lot of blood on his face.

Garo breathing was irregular, he had put too much strain on his body, lowered his defenses in exchange of offensive power and was carrying the fatigue of the previous fights, maybe he overestimated the positive effects of the snow on his old battered body, or maybe, as he had been thinking for a while already, it was time to hang up the bow. As he convulsed in the floor, feeling so much pain that he was cut off from any other sensory input, he reflected about his current work and the good he managed to do, even as old and tired as he was. Teaching other was never his thing and apart from hunting and shooting he lacked any other skills of note. He wanted to keep doing this, but he didn’t know if his body would allow it. His heart was in the right place, but was overtaxed and overused.
The Old Archer slowly regained perception of his surroundings as he heard Eve’s worried cries. He tensed up his body with everything he had to lock his articulations and stop the convulsing, while trying to calm his breathing. The pain was almost unbearable, and without any pun intended the only time he felt such pain was when he fought the corrupted forest Deity when he was just a young man, without even knowing about Ki or Omnyo. He didn’t even need a second opinion about it, he knew his body, through years and years of wounds. His eye was no-more, this would prove to be a pain. -I’m… urgh… okay… I’m okay Harper-dono, don’t need to worry about me.- He was making an act, he could feel all the wounds on his body and knew that it would take awhile for them to properly heal.
Falken came out of the hole he hid and stretched his arms, not giving two shits about Garo or the situation, he walked towards them, making just a pit-stop to kick the downed creature in the skull, not too hard, basically just a display of disrespect and frustration over actual anger. While he moved he made a check-in of his systems and internal routines. Slowly his nanites, with some basic instructions (Like ignoring cosmetic reparations) Finally managed to restore a semblance of functionality to his systems. He wasn’t in top shape, but at least he could pick which weapons to get, with the limitation of not being able to take the largest objects from his arsenal. -I’m feeling great, let’s go and murder the bloody bastards.- He proclaimed with a sinister grin splattered on his face, incapable of reading the situation at all.

“Hello!” a man shouted inside his tiny metal cage, which didn’t seem to posse a door from his perspective. Though he knew there must be an opening somewhere leading outside. The walls come together to form a perfect cube with the only light source of the room coming from a single, but large panel above his head. The aforementioned panel produces an extremely bright and reddish light, which makes the whole cell, including himself, appear to consist of only one reddish color. Besides himself, the room only had a small tin bucket and a few well place hidden cameras. “What’s taking you fucking Russians so long!” He woke up a while ago, yet no one had bother to interrogate him yet. Getting annoyed now, he yells, “I tell sense you fuckers are watching me from behind these walls!!!”
A small team is monitoring the caged man right outside his cell from every side. They could easily view him as his walls are transparent from their side. All of them ignore the man’s words yet when he begins to hit the wall, one of the younger men wearing a lap coat starts to shake, which causes a nearby solider to laugh. "Relax. These walls are reinforce with titanium,” the solider told him. “Yeah, but aren’t some of them unnaturally strong? We already have documents that can proof-“ “Enough with you worries,” said a large grey hair man wearing a similar lap coat to the one the younger man is wearing. “We gave this creature a neutralization shot a few hours ago. Any ability that its supernatural body would have granted is no concern now.” he stated with confidence. His superior’s words did very little to relax his nerves, but the young lad continues to work to the best of his ability as the caged man continues to bang his fists against the walls.
-Fucking hell-, he thought to himself. -I officially have the worst fucking luck in the world.- The original plan did not include him getting captured. He was just suppose to take care of a monster, and call it a day. But then his usual employer, who wasn’t even the same person that originally send him to this god forsaken winter nightmare, had given him another assignment. He didn’t want to take the rescue mission, but he was given little choice. Though he planned to carry out both missions in a similar fashion. Walk in. Kill. Then leave. So simple. Yet so far it has been everything but. -Those four fucks- He angrily spits on ground. Just thinking about his last battle is pissing him off. -I should have just went all out from the start- Even if he doesn’t want to admit it, regardless if he had fought them at his best from the get go it wouldn’t have changed the result.
For now, he needs to focus on escaping from here. From what he can tell they didn’t move his equipment too far from his current position. Which should make this escape pretty easy. All the caged man needs to do is wait for the door to open, so he didn’t have to waste extra energy busting out of here. In the meantime, he searches the complex with his six sense as he tries to find Polkovnik Boris Balashov. When he finally locates the man, he sighs to himself. -Shit. he isn’t going to like this.- Not only did he discover the man’s location, but the Russian’s current condition as well. Suddenly he could hear gun shots. It doesn’t take long before the fallen souls are consumed. Within a few more seconds he could sort of make out the strange creatures responsible for killing the Russian soldiers guarding the outside entrance of the headquarters.
-At least I can regain some strength while I’m here.- he thought bitterly as he knew his short term gains here will be used against him later down the road. Still he has no luxury to think about the future, and needs to focus on the present. Especially with this unforeseen firefight breaking out. He couldn’t have ask for a better distraction and meal. As he stretches his body, the scientist right outside his cell prepare to evacuate. As they are packing up, he begins to channel his internal energy. Sadly for them the neutralization shot they gave him had no real affect due to the nature of his abilities. Once his body feels a bit looser, he walks closer to the wall and throws an enhance punch. The force of his blow cause the hinges of the wall to rip apart and launches it through the air. The airborne section of the wall crushes a small group of men that were unfortunate enough to be standing in the path of the wall’s trajectory.
At first the remaining scientists and soldiers are baffled as the blond and muscular man steps outside the metal cube while shaking his hand. “Whoops. I used a bit too much strength.” Soon enough the troops reach for their guns and open fire. Yet their bullets could do very little to stop the man as he evades the majority of the gunfire with swift body motions. And whenever a bullet did manage to hit him, it would only leave a short-lived and small, reddish mark that would quickly disappear as his skin returns to its previous coloration. He proceeds to kill them one at a time as he makes his way through the room. He would even kill the scientists that are trying to flee. Each person he only needed to hit with a single strike to make their body explode into a gory mess. A minute later and everybody in the room is killed except for one young lad in a lab coat, who is standing right next to a table with all the man’s belongings on top of it.
The last scientist pleads for his life in-between heavy sobs and incomprehensible words. Even going so far as getting on his knees. However the soulless man ruthlessly grabs the man by his neck and ends the Russian scientist with a swift flick of his wrist before chucking his body to the side. As he equips himself with his own clothes and weapons, he could sense more and more soldiers are dying every second, but what really alarms him is Balashov. Considering the people by him he quickly deduces that his target is being moved. -So they are planning to escape. Damn. I would have prefer to take my time.- Really he just wanted to give the two groups more time to kill each other, but he couldn’t risk waiting for the number of hostiles to go down. Once he finishes arming himself he quickly heads out of the room and towards the Russian war hero.
As he makes his way through a series of bloody hallways he sees one corpse and carcass after another. The majority of the casualties are Russians soldiers, and none of them look recognizable. If anyone wants to find out the identity of these men they would need to perform a series of DNA tests. The others belong to beasts riddle with bullets. Eventually he didn’t just run into the dead. As the small wave of werewolves approach him from one side, and Russian fighters on the other side. From that point forward he progress much slower through the hallways. Normally he would welcome having to deal with numerous opponents in this fashion, especially now that he regain his shards. But in this situation he couldn’t afford to waste time slaying one wave of enemies after another. It takes him some time before he finally reaches a massive set of double doors, and could sense Balashov beyond these doors. Without wasting time he quickly kicks the doors down and enters the hangar room.
Once inside he starts to panic as he sees a plane is already taking off with the last person he wanted to be on it. “ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME WITH THIS BULLSHIT!!!” he yelled as he sprints towards the plane at inhuman speeds. He needs to catch up to the plane before its wheels are off the ground. He thought about hitting the plane with one of his techniques, but quickly dismiss the idea as he couldn’t risk killing the already frail Balashov. From what he was told the war veteran has some information that his employer wants so desperately, that he would be rewarded a lifetime supply of booze if he is successful in this mission. Apparently the original deal between the billionaire and the Russian didn’t go exactly to plan. Regardless, he didn’t care about the details to find out what went wrong. Right now he just needs to get inside this plane. As he continues to pick up speed, he finds himself running right behind the plane now. Just as he prepares to leap onto the plane the ceiling collapses right above his head.
The man is force to stop chasing the plane. Not because of the falling debris, but rather what cause the ceiling to collapse in the first place is now standing right in-front of him. A gigantic monster, which he has never seen before but finds it oddly familiar looking, is starting at him like he is a nice juicy piece of meat. When the creature stood fully upright it is easily taller than 10 feet, as well as having a body that must weigh around 5 tons. Yet what is truly shocking is how muscular the beast is, as well as being covered in a thick black hide with various oddly shape spikes sticking out throughout its body. Which the great majority of the spikes cluster around its upper back. The creature’s head also appears to be similar to that of a bird's. Both in its dimensions, along with how its four eyes were separated apart, from each other with dark blue eyes located at each corner of its face. as the Raviwr Kluchud roars its invitation to battle, the plane flies off the runway. Grinding his teeth together in frustration, the man pulls out his blade and charges the beast.
“Have you been able to contact the base?” asked Commander Veronica as she cleans the blood off her sword with a cloth rag. “No. I can’t maintain a signal for more than a few seconds, and all I hear is static.” replied Andrey as he continues to work with his walkie talkie. “Should we send a messenger?” While sheathing her sword she shakes her head. “No. We have a mission we need to complete first. Afterwards, we can all head back to the headquarters.” “Very well,” he said as he puts the bulky communication device back into his heavy bag. “But boss, do you really think we will be able to beat that thing?” he asked as he zips up his bag. She takes a moment to examine the nearby mountain range and answers bluntly, “Doesn’t matter what I think. We were given a mission, and we can’t afford to fail, Andrey.” Her words were not so much a warning, but the cold truth. There will be no second chances for any of them.
“Come on guys. Look on the bright side,” Diana said cheerfully as she swings her feet back and forth while petting her tiny pet, Timmy. “This could be the perfect chance for us to use our abilities to their fullest.“ Ignoring her optimism the bald man commands her, “Get down from there already!” The girl giggles as she leaps off the head of a monster and towards her companions. The creature is an exact replica of the beast that the hunters had just defeated themselves, with the only exceptions being the color of its hide and eyes. The creature’s fur is is golden and each of its four eyes are emerald green. She lands directly on the carcass of a werewolf, which causes a small blood splash that hits Andrey. “Whooooops~” she said sarcastically as she begins to skip playfully thorugh the red and white snow. Sighing, Andrey rubs his temples while mumbling under his breath. “10…9…8…” “Piggyback Ride!” Diana shouted as she jumps on Ivan’s back. The frost giant didn’t seem to mind and continues to walk with her on his back as he approaches their leader.
“Remember, once we reach the target we will separate into two teams. The first team will consist of Andrey and myself. The second team will be Ivan and Diana. Does everyone remember the plan?” she asked glaring at each one of them with a stern look. Andrey and Diana nod their heads in unison. Ivan instead raises his hand with a confuse look on his face. Veronica’s facial expression softens a bit as she has a soft spot for the mute man. “Alright I will explain it one more time. Now, pay attention…” As she goes on to inform them of their roles again, the Russian commander continues to think about the significance of the werewolves and the Raviwr Kluchud. -Is there some connection between these monsters and the people that Nikolaos faced? Or is something else at work here? Nonetheless, I must complete my assignment. It doesn’t matter how many enemies challenge me. I will be the victorious in the end.-
Alex helped out his teammate to the best of his ability, yet he wasn’t the best when it comes to helping people in these sort of situations. He knew there were many people in this world that are gifted in scenarios like this, both in the mundane world and the hidden. From what he notice those type of people just always knew the right thing to do. What to say. Yet he couldn’t even muster up any words to comfort the man. Maybe it is best that way. Alex could tell that his fellow hunter's eye is gone, and he knew that the veteran is well aware of his condition. There is probably someone in this bizarre world that will be able to help him regain his eye. Looking at Falken for a moment he wonders if Garo would even be willing to accept an cybernetic replacement. But for now, the old man appears to be stable enough. Though he wears his mask with pride, he dare not risk saying anything to him about his options. That is going to be a conversation Garo must have with someone who can actually help him once this mission is over.
The gruesome hunter almost feels sorry for the archer, but he immediately forces himself to stop caring about the old man's well being outside of his ability to contribute to the mission. -You can’t let yourself get attach- he repeated the words over and over again in his head. He already suffered the pain of losing the people closest to him, and on more than one occasion. And he refuses to let himself go through that agony again. As he harden his heart, he tells the cyborg, "We must first take care of the Deity. Otherwise we will end up regretting going after a lesser threat. The storm is not getting any weaker. In fact its becoming-" Before he could finish, the earth begins to shake once more.

Eve's lip wobbled for a second looking at Garo. For a moment, she didn't see the dependable father figure and world class hunter she knew and loved. She just saw a ragged, half blind old man. Eve was in dangerous situations every day. She was quite aware that she could die any time. What she only realized now was how vulnerable Garo was. He was her only human employee who found on the front lines, and humans were fragile. It took so little to break something forever in them. Eve stiffened her lip and attempted a smile. It was the most miserable smile ever put on a face.
"Okay Garo." She practically whispered. Practical things. Things she could actually do something about. "I need to do something." Eve grabbed up pieces of wood scattered in the fight and hammered them together with pieces of her ruined exoskeleton functioning as nails. Soon she had a crude sled and crawled on. "Until I find some suitable replacement for my endoskeleton, I cannot walk. So please, Alex, create some ropes for my sled and Falken, pull me." She felt stupid and childish sitting on this thing, but she really had no choice. Unlike Huntsman, she couldn't form osseous material. In other words, she was naturally boneless and had to make her armor as a solid endoskeleton.

Garo, breathing heavily, watched how the group slowly gathered their broken pieces ready to continue. He could feel the pain on his chest, the accelerating beat inside his bruised rib cage. He was even painfully aware of the tensed up sound his knees were making, as gum being stretched close to a breaking point. With considerable effort the Old Archer turned to the side and started raising up. His knees and hip gave out midway, but he managed to heavily land on his knee. -I’m okay… I’m okay…- He weakly managed to utter as he saw blood pooling underneath him. He knew that he just lost one of his eyes, but he also knew that he couldn’t drag the rest of the group down. He was hired to do a job and he had professional pride, something that had almost died out during his stint as a teacher. Since joining The Wild Hunt the Old Hunter had experienced more close encounters with the Gods of Death more times in a couple of years than in 15 years of JHWAB service.
Walking side by side with Death was what truly made him felt alive. After being forced to retire from active duty the Veteran Hunter was aimless, lacking a purpose and excitement on his life. But since that fateful morning he teamed up with Eve, Alexander and begrudgingly with Falken, he had been feeling more alive that how he did in years. Too stubborn to die was basically his whole gimmick, so without even thinking it twice he grabbed three charms, one placed over his eye like a large bandage, the other two on the biggest wounds he could detect. Gathering his Ki proved to be surprisingly easy as he was so dazed that clearing his mind was basically already done. He grabbed one of his arrows and bit hard on the shaft and summoned his Ki to activate the charms. The stench of burnt fabric and flesh filled the area as his Flame charms cauterized his wounds. A series of pained grunts came out from his closed mouth as his back arched backwards and he grasped blindly at a nearby tree to stop himself from moving.
Garo almost fell on the ground again, his feet kicking against the snow as the wounds were burned and forcibly closed. Finally his body went limp, slumped on his knees, head looking down. The soft sound of the arrow falling on the snow below him was a prologue to a weak murmur escaping the mouth of the Archer. With his eyes still twitching from the pain, small tremors coursing his body and smoke coming out of the charms, still stuck to his body, Garo stood up, took a deep breath and grasped his bow until his knuckles went white. His face was a mask of anger, pain and frustration, thick sweat beads rolling from his hair, his remaining eye shining brighter than the scriptions in the charm, that were red hot. -I’m going to find whoever sent this creature towards us and teach him about the law of Talion and then some. Or at least I'm going to kill it's spawn...- He took a couple of tentative steps forward, through sheer grit and determination, looking around until his healthy eye locked on the tracks of the Kluchud.
-I got it’s tracks, follow me. Whatever this was I think is not over- Garo started walking, steadily but slowly, ignoring Alexander’s comment, smoke still coming out of his charms. Falken, who wanted to say something just shrugged, realizing that for once the old man was being a bigger badass than he was, and just picked the wires to drag Eve. -I hope you know what you’re doing old man.- Falken whispered for himself as he dragged the Leader of the Wild Hunt.

"Finally," he uttered in pure exhaustion as he drops to his knees into a puddle of blood. Behind him, laying still on the ground is a decapitated head of the Raviwr Kluchud, while in front of him is it's body. "Damn, that took longer than I expected," he said as he uses his sword as a cane to help him back to his feet. As he lifts the tip of the sword of the ground, he suddenly hears the sounds of someone clapping. "I hope you aren't thinking you caught me by surprise," the blond man called out. Earlier, he had sensed his spectator since his, or her arrival in the hanger a few minutes ago. At the time he figured he, or she, was just waiting for the monster to eat him, or at least weaken him enough that this stranger would be able to easily dispose of him afterwards. He manage to force them to go with the ladder, though he was smart enough to conserve his strength in preparation to face his next foe after the beast. “Enough with your mock applause.” He turns around and points his blade directly at the source of the clapping. “So who, or what, are you suppose to-“ He is cutoff mid sentence by the shock of discovering not one, but two spectators.
“-Can't you already tell, Chase,” the man in the suit calmly said as he blows a small buff of smoke, and ends his clapping. "Though, I suppose I would be one of the few exceptions for you little spirit radar, but then again, you really should start to learn to use your entire arsenal someday.” His eyes slowly adjust towards a faint greenish glow slightly emanating from Chase's forearm through his armor. His eyes seem to smile as he glances at the soulless man’s forearm. “Who are you guys,” his said in such a low and serious tone, that the question sounded more like a command. “Finally, I found you,” he whispered underneath his breath so low that only his heavily armored companion could hear him. He proceeds to flick his nearly burnt out cigarette. As it flies through the air, the soft burning glow of the cigarette vanishes, while the well groom man’s hideous scar appears to softly glow red. The factory style lights directly above the man’s head shatter into thousands of pieces. A bizarre domino effect occurs as the nearby lights also shatter in unison around the first light bulb. This pattern repeats itself over and over again in a perfectly time beat as the strange phenomenon travels across the room. While glass is raining down upon the floor, the light gradually fades away and is replace by a silent darkness creeping from every corner. However, the soulless man doesn’t flitch and remains calm. Eventually there only remain one remaining lightbulb in the room, which is directly above Chase’s head. Making the soulless man appear to be under a spotlight.
“Fine with me. I’ll just beat the answers out of you.” Yet before he could take a step forward, the mark of his forearm begins to glow violently. Suddenly he feels a strange sensation emitting from within his very being. Trying desperately to crawl its way out of him. The sensation is quickly accompanied by agonizing pain spreading throughout every inch of his body causing Chase to quickly bend over as he begins to shake violently, desperately trying not to scream at the top of his lungs. He tries to fight for control over his body, but is powerless to do anything to stop the shaking. The heavily armored Knight starts to reach for his weapon, but stops as soon as his companion puts his hand up. As he drops his hand, he slowly walks forward to the gut wrenching display of Chase’s suffering. “You seem to be having trouble. Here. Allow me.” All the broken shards and pieces of glass scatter throughout the room quickly float into the air before rushing towards the soulless man’s position. The shards pierce through his exposure skin in its entirety, only avoiding his eyes, which the man in the suit stares into without blinking. Almost as if he is waiting for something to happen. After a few seconds, blood begin to pour down the rows of glass shards sticking out of the soulless man’s body before he collapses head first onto the floor. “No need to thank me,” he said nonchalantly as he reaches inside his inner pocket of his suit and pulls out a box of cigarettes and a lighter.
“It’s good to see you again. Though, in my head, when I pictured us meeting again, I imagine things would have gone differently. What a pity. Our reunions tend to be more eventful then this. Then again, judging by your reaction, I suppose there is some hope for another exciting reunion one of these days,” he said as he retrieves a new cigarette. “So far I got to say I’m a bit disappointed that it is taking this long. Then again, I suppose I’m more disappointed in how things turned out. As for ‘you’-“ he said as he lights his new cigarette, “-Please try your best in this upcoming fight Chase.” He then closes his lighter, and the last lightbulb above his head goes out. Yet the total darkness lasts only momentarily, as the soulless man blinks to discover himself pointing his sword towards no one. He grits his teeth in frustration as he looks around to see if he can spot the pair, but he could see no sign of them. In fact, the hangar room’s lights remain exactly as it was before his conversation with the strange duo. “Who exactly were those guys . . .” he mumbled to himself before an earthquake begins to shake the entire complex. “. . . Guess its time for my other mission.” As he walks out of the hangar room, he takes a quick glance behind him, and finally notices that the body of the Raviwr Kluchud has vanished.
Thanks to Garo’s incredible tracking skills, he manages to lead the group of hunters through the forest without much difficulty. As the hunters continue to follow the veteran archer, the forest soon becomes part of the distant horizon as they begin to press towards the mountains. As they enter the hills that gradually expand upwards into mountains. The earth around them would shake violently at uneven intervals of time as they travel over the rocky and snow cover paths that naturally separate the surrounding mountains from each other. Small avalanches would occur throughout the small mountain range, but fortunately for the group of hunters, they were not endanger of being caught in one of the avalanches. The gruesome hunter couldn’t comprehend much of what is going on as his vision is limited to only a few feet in any given direction. After leaving the forest, they had reenter the heavy snowstorm. Which made him appreciate Garo’s tracking skills even more, especially considering the old man’s current condition. However, Garo is not the only one who has been badly hurt.
Alex takes a moment to examine his own body, which is covered from head to toe in his wire threads. Where it not for his threads he would be unable to move. The amount of damage he has already taken is already pushing his body to its limits. He didn’t want to say anything to his fellow companions, as he hates to show any signs of weakness, but he is close to passing out from the exhaustion. It is taking every ounce of willpower he posse to be able to continue to force himself to move through the manipulation of his limbs via the wire threads. From his point of view, the world is becoming more black then white with every step, and he could no longer feel the cold air hitting his skin. In fact, he was beginning to feel extremely warm, and has to fight the urge to stripe out of his clothes. He knows his mind is playing tricks on him as he is beginning to experience severe hypothermia. The ghoulish looking man starts to question how much longer he will be able to go on before his body gives out on him. Well, he hopes his teammates have the good sense to leave him behind should he collapse, and continue on the mission. His life isn’t worth the prevention of a possible outbreak of war between Chine and Russia.
As the group moves deeper into the mountains, the once professional musician hears a soft, yet rapid, sound echoing throughout the mountain valley. As they get closer, the sound’s pitch gradually becomes higher, as well as quicker. Until, the noise transforms into one continues note, at least that is what it would sound to the ears of a normal person. But Alex’s ears barely manage to pick up the slight time gaps between these extraordinary fast pace sounds. It takes him a few moments, but he eventually realizes that the sound is being generated by the swing of a sword. Yet as soon as he figures out the source of the noise, the sound suddenly ceases. The heavy snowflakes around the hunters begin to fall slower and slower, until the blizzard gently transform into a light snowfall. The hunters could now easily see hundreds of feet in front of them without much trouble, except for Alex. "Did you guys hear that?" he asked with his teeth chattering.

Eve's whole face peeled away at the sight of Garo sealing his wounds with flame. Even her metal skull's grin looked more like a pained grimace. Her face came back when he turned and began walking. She kept it as calm as she could, but she was stewing. They were in no state for another fight. She wasn't sure all of them would survive the walk to the next fight. "Falken, does your GPS pick up any towns around here? We need to get actual medical care." She directed. I could also use some legs. Maybe if we find a car I can take it apart. Alex brought up a noise, pulling her from her plans to dismantle vehicles. "Huh? I don't hear anything. Falken, Garo?" She strained her hearing, but nothing came to her ears. She was highly specialized in sight, not hearing.

Garo, stumbling in the borderline between being awake and sleep, barely noticed the sound, his sole laser-focused scrap of attentions were locked on the tracks. He didn’t even listen Eve and replied with a weak. -No… I don’t hear anything.- He leaned against a tree, fighting a losing fight against gravity to stay standing. Even with the added support of the large pine tree he was slowly sliding towards the snowy ground. Falken, on his part, had noticed the sound and his slowly rebooting sensors had homed into the sound, triangulating the echoes to give him a somewhat precise location. -I can hear it…- The Psycho Cyborg slowly looked around, his built-in HUD tracking the sound waves, attempting to properly pinpoint the direction they should track. As he did this he offhandedly mentioned. -The storm is fucking up with my GPS, so I can’t tell you shit about the surrounding area through satellites.- Falken kept scanning until he pointed in the direction, at least roughly, from where the swings were coming. -The bloody sound is coming from that direction, somebody is swinging something, I couldn't give two shits what.-

Eve sighed at Falken's lack of results. "Well, at least I know our location. I'll have to try this." Eve spat out her phone, outfitted with an oversized satellite dish. "Hopefully this is enough to cut through the blizzard. I certainly busted my wallet and about forty laws getting it." She tapped out her number and millions of people from Russia to Great Britain suddenly lost their cell phone service as Eve hijacked their satellites to serve her and only her.
"Aria's gonna kill me for this." She grumbled as she held the phone up to her ear. It was already starting to heat up from the sheer power she was channeling through it, but it was working. With the full attention of an entire network, she finally got something resembling a signal, and her office's phone rang. "Pick up, pick up, pick uuuuuuuuuup..." She bobbed up and down until finally a voice crackled back. "Eve? What's up? I thought you were on that mission." Huntsman's voice was barely audible through the interference.
"I am. Shut up and listen real quick, I need you to come to me. Bring me the new set of torso and leg armor from my room. The password to get in is 14782462672472726. You got that?" She finished with their GPS coordinates as best as she remembered them and waited a second. "Alright, etched that into my arm. Anything else?" "Yeah, write this down. Blood transfusion gear. Medical kit. MY medical kit, not the generic one in the office. And a body that can take some cold. I want your backup." She added as an afterthought. She was already calling him in, she might as well have him stay to help. "Will do." Huntsman abruptly cut off when the phone caught fire. "Shit!" Eve dropped it into the snow and it extinguished, but the acrid smell told her it was irreparable.
"We'll check out that noise after Huntsman shows up and-" Eve was interrupted by the flash of somebody teleporting in, a thousand times brighter than it should have been for a human. When it cleared, it was obvious why. Huntsman was not in the form of a human, but of an elephantine beast, supported by 6 columnar legs. Shaggy white fur obstructed its anatomy, leaving it looking like little more than a mound of snow covering some trees. A purple tendril uncurled from the snow to set the requested items before Eve. "Ahahahahahaha! What happened to you!?" Despite her current appearance, Huntsman was using a human feminine voice, smoky and sultry. "Nothing important. How the heck did you grow that body so fast?" Eve asked as she wrapped her body around the pieces of armor that lay around her.
"If you're allowed to find Falken hot, I'm allowed to have some mysteries too." Huntsman lay down, legs sprawling in all directions. "Oh, fuck off." Eve anchored herself to her new endoskeleton pieces and stood. Tendrils of flesh sealed up and took the texture of clothing. "Hahah! I walk again!" She marched in a circle, jigging and wiggling to test out her new armor. "It's a little weird changing my legs, but they seem to work fine." Eve grabbed the oversized suitcase Huntsman dropped and popped it open. "Garo, I know you're going to hate this, but I'm sorry." She grabbed a long IV tube and stabbed one end into Huntsman, the fur parting to let her do so. "You need a blood transfusion and Huntsman's as universal a doner as they come." She held up the other end of the IV as blood began to flow. "Don't worry, it's not poisonous. Or hyper-acidic. Or flammable. Or explosive! Currently. It can be any of those things." Huntsman said with obvious pride. "You are not being encouraging right now." Eve kicked her sister's leg, barely budging it.

Alex winces as he is blinded by Huntsman's appearance. As his eyes adjust, they quickly widen as he can finally see the large elephantine like beast. For a moment he prepares an attack until he witnesses the exchange between Eve and the strange creature, only to quickly realize the beast' true identity. Yet even though Huntsman seems to be an ally, the gruesome hunter couldn't help but consider this 'thing' a threat. Every cell in Alex's body feels as if it is screaming at him to act, but he knows better than to allow his impulses to guide him here. Struggling to keep still, he looks up to the sky as he seeks to distract himself by studying the weather. After all, he is curious as to why the blizzard has changed around this area. From what he can tell looking back in the direction they had been traveling, the weather appears to still be in the middle of a gigantic blizzard.
As his eyes examine the sky directly above their heads, he notices that the snow is continuing to move, but rather then falling straight down, the snowflakes appear to be traveling horizontally. He continues to watch this sight for a few minutes. His eyes follow the snow over the horizon as they continue to travel towards what appears to the nearby mountain range. As he watches, the snow begin to cluster directly above what appears to be smallest mountain in the region. This particular mountain is clearly isolated from the rest of the mountain range. Separated by forest and snow covered hills from the other mountains. The hunter also notices that the forest and hills appear to be split by an unnatural valley directly behind the mountain, creating a rather awkward gap in the environment. As for the miniature mountain itself, it appears to be oddly proportionate. No side appearing to be much larger than the other. And rather then containing a single mountain top, there appears to be numerous spiky mountain tops sticking all throughout the body.
However before he could study the mountain any further, the snow surrounding the mountain itself begins to move towards the sky. Large clusters of snow from the nearby hills erupt into the sky in what could be described as several gigantic snow geysers. Moments later the earth around the group begin to shake once more. The shaking is far more powerful than any of the previous quakes. Alex watches in complete awe as the snow from the sky and earth begin to mix and wrap around each other until they form a massive sphere in the air, which dwarfs the small mountain below it. The large gathering of snow suddenly collapses onto the mountain. The immediate impact causes an explosive version of an avalanche, as the descending sphere quickly shatters upon contact with the mountain, and tears apart the areas of the nearby forest and hills. The force of the impact also lunges debris mountain all throughout the region.
Within moments the group is going to be greeted by a sweeping hailstorm of snow, ice wood, and rocks that will completely cover their current location. Alex waves his hands quickly as he prepares to protect himself in a sphere of wires. Though his wires could protect him from the debris, they couldn’t stop the overwhelming force of the avalanche like explosion. Without any further aid, Alex will be swapped off his feet and will likley drag hundreds of feet by the snow bomb.

“Fuck this weather,” At first he tried to run through the difficult terrain but the heavy snow and low visibility made it impossible for him to move fast in this hellish blizzard. After a minute or so, he decide to head back to the facility and take a snowmobile. As he travels across the snow he could still feel some sort of phantom pain from the shards of glass that had pierced his skin. Each time the pain repeats the soulless man curses and begins talking to himself about how he is going to murder that cocky bastard with the suit. As his blood boils a small aura of heart begins to radiate from him. Vaporizing any snowflake before it could touch his armor. “So who pissed you off today?” said a voice from behind him as he suddenly feels a pair of arms wrapping around his waist. “Besides you?” “Is that any anyway to talk to your master?” said the Spirit of Unbalance with a sly smile, and places his hand over his forearm. Suddenly the phantom pain of the glass fades and is replace by a sharp fear. “Relax, I’m not here to torture you anymore then you have been already.” After a few seconds to regain his composure he replies, “You aren’t really here.” “Do you still not understand how this works? So long as you bear my mark, a part of me will always be with you.” “Anyway...Who were those guys before. Some old friends, or enemies of yours?” “Not sure.” What kinda of answer was that? he thought to himself in annoyance. “And?” “And what? I’m here to make sure you don’t lose sight of the my price. And instead of fulfilling my desire, you have spend most of your time getting beat up, locked up in a cage and trying to accomplish your friend’s request.” He said that last part with a dangerous implication. “So?” “Should you ever try to fulfill someone’s else desire before mine again, I’ll make sure to remove….the distraction.” “If you could really intervene that easily, you wouldn’t need me.” Laughter begins to fill the whole area. “If only you could comprehend your foolishness. What’s happening here is all but a game to me. I admit, I enjoy this game. But don’t you dare presume to know the rules to this game.” “What rules?” No reply. Chase looks behind him and sees no one. The Spirit of Unbalance is gone, and with his disappearance the phantom pain has vanish as well. “ I thought you were always with me,” muttered Chase to himself as he turn his head back to the direction of his master’s desire. For a moment he couldn’t help but think the bastard had said something he wasn’t suppose to say. Regardless it didn’t matter. All he needed to do was take care of one stupid ass turtle. Then he can have some time off and enjoy himself again. But just as he is putting himself in a better mood by imagining what he is going to do with his time off, the sky above his head changes color. The once white background quickly changed into a muddy grey. “What the f…” Before he could finish his sentence a rainstorm of rocks and trees begin to assault the soulless man.
Andrey walks a few steps behind his commander. Now that Diana has left he can finally think more clearly, but unfortunately he couldn’t stop thinking about her. Damn brat! Right before they had parted ways, Diana’s pet somehow managed to relieve itself in his bag, and when he went to reach for his walkie talkie earlier he ended up pulling out a much stinkier hand. When he finally did manage to grab a hold of his communicator he wanted to give Diana a piece of his mind, but it ended up with her laughing at him and praising her stupid pet. When he complained to their commander, she just seem content with the fact that the two teams can still communicate with each other. He attempted to give her a lecture a few times, but each attempt was answered in a similar fashion as her first response. “Can I give you some advice, Andrey?” Veronica said as she continues to march forward. “Advice, Commander?” he asked. “Shall I take that as a Yes?”. “I’m sorry, Commander. Advice on what matter?” “Stop worrying about Diana. She can take care of herself.” Silence followed for a few moments before Andrey replies, “She is just a brat. She is going to end up getting herself killed.” Sighing the commander turns to face him Andrey. “We are more likely to die then she is. So do me a favor and worry about yourself. Out of all of us, you tend to be too overzealous with your ability. You aren’t invincible Andrey, and I can’t afford to have you underestimate our opponent. Even you may not be able to survive a single blow from this creature.” “Based on its size, I doubt it can even land a direct blow, so I don’t think…” “C..Commander!” She turns around and together the two of them watch as a giant snowball forms over a mountain top. Without warning the shadow cast by the expanding snowball above their heads completely engulfs their location. Suddenly it appears as if it is nighttime. Without wasting time Commander Veronica reaches for Andrey and pulls him closer to her. She then raises her sword arm towards the incoming explosion of ice and snow.

-In the name of bloody Steven Seagal what the fuck is that?- Falken exclaimed upon seeing Huntsman materialize out of nowhere. Garo, bleeding out and slowly sinking into critical condition had a much less effusive reaction. -I think I might have lost too much blood… or is everyone seeing that thing?- Eve’s and Huntsman’s interaction happened and the Shapeshifting Huntress approached Garo with the IV line. The Old Archer wanted to move away, but his legs were frozen solid, both figuratively and literally, as the cold and lack of blood was already numbing his limbs. -Ok.- He stoically said, depressed about his lack of health and the fact he was going to get monster blood into his system. He already took shapeshifter blood once, during his tenure in the JHWAB, as they recruited shapeshifters as blood donors to have stock of any weird blood they might need on the field for first aid kits.
As this happens Falken, trying to come out with a painful comment towards Garo, receives a warning on his HUD. -Oh bloody hell.- The Psycho Cyborg rushes towards a tree and summons one of his weapons as the snow geysers start popping upwards. Twin Yamamoto Tsurugi Modules appeared on his wrists, thankfully getting through the blizzard through the momentary lull in wind caused by the initial explosion of the geysers. -GRAB ONTO BLOODY SOMETHING!- He shouted as both blades pierced the tree, Falken hiding from the incoming avalanche. Garo wasn’t so lucky and barely managed to drag himself under the roots of the tree he was leaning against, drawing all of his strength into the mere act of crawling.

“Don’t worry, human. I’m perfectly imitating human blood. Young blood too. You’ll feel better than you did before you got all cut up.” Huntsman wagged her tongue like a tail. “Don’t give him anything else. I know you might be tempted to “help”, but-” “Pff, I’m not giving your pet geezer any of my special cells. He hasn’t earned them.” Huntsman hissed, haughtily raising her head. The two appeared on the verge of fighting when the earth suddenly shook. “Hey, was that bullshit happening before I got here?” Huntsman focused blue eyes on the back of her head on the floating snow.
“Everybody down!” Eve yelled, diving behind Huntsman, who quickly hunkered down and dug her feet into the ground. Her body served as a wall defending Eve from the avalanche. Eve anchored herself behind her sister with bolts from her feet and stared in horror as Garo crawled. “Huntsman! Get him!” She yelled and Huntsman’s long tendril whipped out to drag Garo into the shelter by her body.
