The aftermath was striking. The main room was bad enough, with smashed floorboards everywhere and melting snow piled high. The kitchen was a disaster, more burnt than not. And a signal of betrayal, a black, padded robe, still lay by the flames above which overcooked birds roasted.
Snow became slush as Yuu stomped through it, leaving a trail that slowly filled with falling snow. She mumbled constant apologies and words of comfort as she fled. She bounded down the mountainside, sliding to a stop by a frozen pond. It was a holy place to the ogres, marked with towering stones bearing crude markings telling a complex story with multiple interpretations. It was also the fallback point for the dolls.
Yuu set Marika gently on the snow besides the pond and stood back up to unbutton her sweater. She shed it and knelt again to place it under Marika, muffling her struggles and shielding her from the snow. Yuu shuddered in her undershirt, more aware than ever of the cold. She let her tears coat one arm and ignited it. First she plunged her hand through the snow, reducing it to a cloud of steam. She let her sticky venom drip over the cleared ground to leave a vibrant flame. She knew it wouldn't last long, but it would do for now. Next she smashed her flaming fist through the ice, causing an even greater cloud.
Her extinguished arm drew warm water and she tore a chunk from her undershirt to dampen. She had to clean Marika's face up if she was going to see the damage. But it would hurt her so much... A stone clattered down the mountain and Yuu spun to face the intruder, only to find Martha staggering down to her, frost beginning to grow over her lips and eyes. "Martha! Good to see you! Help me with the fire. I need sticks." She quickly gave orders, turning back away to leave the bitter doll to her own devices. Martha grumbled and began searching among the stones, craving a heat source like any doll would.
Her enraged yell startled Yuu from her delicate padding just before she stomped around the corner, carrying the tiny, frozen body of Jane. "This stupid plan got Jane killed!" She roared, tears melting little paths down her cheeks. "Martha, calm down. She'll thaw out. Mar- one of your sisters was frozen once and she was fine. Get that fire built." Yuu hugged Martha and held her until her shaking died down. "Fine... fine, just let go of me. I need to save Jane. I hope Marika dies though." Martha wasn't ready for the slap that stung her face. "You will NEVER speak of anybody in this household that way!" Martha scrambled back with a look of shock and darted away to search for sticks, startled by Yuu's unprecedented rage. Yuu sighed and knelt on Marika's arms, holding her still in her struggles. "I'm sorry, Martha. I'm sorry, Marika. I'm sorry I have to hurt you." Marika's screams became the only sound in the night as Yuu began to clean and search.

Finished applying first aid, Sid puts away his supplies back into his coat and begins to survey the damage. "Holy crap, this place is a dump now. We don't have to pay for this, right?" He calls out to Jose and the laughing Goemon as he made his way over to them. Just who were those people?! Was that loud person a dude or a chick?! Just what the hell was going on here?! "So...anyone got ideas for how we can stop any future attacks from hot big-chested chicks and her minions?" Sid of course referring to Yuu betraying them back in the kitchen.
---
Soon after Marta arrived back to Yuu with Jane's body, Haven and his surfboard carrying Ash skids to a stop in front of Yuu and the fire she was attempting to build. He gripped his side, which was damaged during that brief battle he had with Jose. "Sorry we're late. Ash, can you make a heat dome around us, please? This snow is hard to work through." Haven asks his sister, who was still catching her breath on the board. Grinning in response, Ash clutches her chest as she staggers back to her feet. "Of...course I can! It will be...perfect...like me!" Between certain words, Ash would suck in a large amount of air, trying to get it into her lungs. Holding her arms out, the area around the dolls would begin to warm up, the snow beneath their feet beginning to melt faster than ever. Unfortunately, the snow continued to fall down upon them...now in the form of rain droplets. Before Haven could form a barrier above them, a large network of tree roots erupts out of the ground and surrounds the group in a small makeshift cave, with the back completely enclosed where Yuu and Marika were, and the opening down a few feet away where Ash and Haven sat. The cave itself was only a few meters long, but it was just enough to keep everyone dry. Cadence sat on top of the roof of the structure, allowing the rain to pelt her as she kept watch for anyone daring to follow them.
Inside, Haven looked over at Yuu. "Should we all go back to the Kaspa to do this? If they're following us, we don't have much time before they arrive." He states, hoping to get out of here before they are surrounded by the people inside.

-I hate when people try to act all smart and strategic when their heads are clearly empty.- A voice echoed in the trees as steps got closer to the Dolls location, crunching snow and fallen branches alike. –I really hate seeing a group fail as hard as you did back then, when you had everything you needed to win. - The mocking words got even closer, filling the woods with a burning feeling, not a pleasurable warm sensation, but an insidious heat, like the fumes from flaming plastic, the kind of smell that sets your nose ablaze. –But what I really hate.- Purple fire surrounded the Dolls as Ikari finally made appeared in their line of sight, walking out from behind a tree, his eyes burning with the same intensity as the flames encircling them, his outline painted with the tint of the flames.
-Is when people who burn with hatred cannot realize their goals…- With the last word of that sentences the flames around them went out, without a trace of ever being there. Ikari stood nearby, still dressed with his tuxedo and a coat on top. –I’ve come in peace, to extend a helping hand to Ms. Arachne, from my employer, who is deeply interested in your success and your collaboration for a future endeavor.- He sounded quite diplomatic when he talked, but afterwards a sinister grin plastered on his face, as his eyes shined like embers. –But if you want to cause any troubles, let me tell you something…- His silhouette was surrounded by flames, bursting out from his body.
-I fucking hate trouble makers.-
Callis doused the last of the fires with the bucket and placed it on the ground, right where he found it. The Beast Knight went down, using his healthy knee to support his weight as he tightened the makeshift bandage around his leg. The pressure made him groan in pain, closing his eyes as he knotted the extremes of the rag he was using for first aid. –I think this might work.- He whispered as he stood up, giving some tentative steps with his injured leg. The pain was there, but the cut was really clean and didn’t hit any mayor artery or muscle fiber. The Beast Knight limped outside to meet the others. The whole place was upside down, clearly he wasn’t the only one involved in a duel.
-Is everybody alright? - He asked, truly worried for his comrades, even the ones he disliked on a personal level. Callis knew that in a battlefield any grudge should be forgotten to ensure the survival of the whole unit. –Seemingly Messa Li was an enemy spy. - He told the others in the room. –She is another of the undead puppets of Marika Arachne.- The way the Beast Knight said the word undead clearly demonstrated his animosity against what he thought to be crimes against life and magic.
Finally, as he walked into the room, the effects of the blow to the head were starting to stop. Goemon wasn’t dizzy, but his nape was still beating and his vision was blurry. –I fought two of the intruders, the red headed one is strong but isn’t quite in the same level when it comes to stamina, the purple haired one hit me like a freight train, she shoots some kind of energy and flies with a board.- The Karate Star looked around, focusing his eyes for a moment on Jose and giving him a smile and a thumbs up to encourage him, as the Earthshaker seemed a bit down. –Any intel you have on the other crazies? - He asked to the room, hoping to get some answers to the many questions he had about the attackers.

Thinking about the attackers he had just faced, Jose answers his master's injury about the intruders, "The one with green hair is a pretty strong plant manipulator, who's difficult to take out due to her healing abilities. From what I can tell, she is rather skilled at fighting at a distance. Though I'm not sure of her physical capabilities when dealing with close quarter combat." he finished with a clinch fist as he is still annoyed that their fight ended prematurely. "I faced the purple haired one as well, but sadly I can't add anything else to your description for that one." Turning his attention to the Orge body he starts to wonder what was their motivation. "Would anyone have any idea what they wanted to do with the the late king?" he asked everyone in the room.
Alex doesn't bother to talk, instead he walks towards the body of the Orge and begins to inspect it. He takes his time analyzing the corpse. He is checking to see if there is anything wrong with the body's condition outside of death. He even begins to carefully shoots wire threads around the body, but not touching it. Then with surprising grace, he jumps onto one of the wire threads. This way he would be able to inspect the body from top to bottom.

The ogre king's body remained massive and stoic, looming over the whole room. No damage was immediately apparent from ground level, but with a being of his size, the full picture was never available from the floor. His shoulder region was marked with deep gashes, exposing flesh gone grey and even bone in one spot. What little blood had seeped free was dried around the wounds now, leaving black stains on grey skin.
"With Marika in this much pain, we can't rely on the kaspa. And I don't know the extent of the damage. I don't know what will happen if she..." She sniffled, holding back tears. No! Marika had lived through worse than this! She redoubled her efforts, brief rain helping clear the blood from Marika's face and reveal her injuries. She balked at Marika's destroyed jaw. It was twisted in multiple places, more teeth missing or splintered than intact. Could her shedding even recover this? Were there any major arteries in the jaw? Would that even apply to Marika?
She picked up on a noise in the snow outside and froze. "Kids, fall in. Who the hell are you?" She stood defensively in front of Marika and the hate dolls, staring down the man approaching them. He literally reeked of danger. "Well, whoever you are, Marika can't agree to any deal you would be making. I would advise you leave." She growled, tears flowing strong once again, more fluid than any human could produce from their tear ducts.

"Any info...well, I fought two of the crazies; the spider chick and the one with spiky hair that...I have no idea is a dude or chick. Spider chick can throw threads and poison-tipped scissors, but she went down after one kick to the jaw. The other one is really loud and fast, but clearly has no martial arts training...so yeah." Wandering over to the middle of the room, Sid crosses his arms across his chest as he looked out the front door. For some reason, he felt a strange, ominous presence further down the mountain...and couldn't shake the feeling that he felt it before.
---
As soon as Ikari began talking, Haven rode his surfboard into the cave and deposited the wheezing Ash against a wall near the back, as far from Ikari as he could put her. Riding back to the entrance, Haven makes his board disappear and brings down his sunglasses, standing next to Yuu...ready to summon a weapon in case this man decided to attack. The sheer amount of dread he felt at this man's presence was unlike anything Haven had ever felt before, even from a being as vile as Patches. "It's as Yuu said, Marika is unable to agree to any deal in the state she's in. So unless you have some kind of healing spell, we will need to ask you to come back later." Truthfully, Haven wished for them to drop this mission and go back to the Kaspa, so Yuu can treat Marika's injuries and allow the rest of them to not face those people again.
Up on top of a few tree branches, Cadence looked down at Ikari with a bit of intrigue in her eyes. Just who was this person? Even in the state she was in, where most of her emotions were dulled by the pain-killing smoke she inhaled regularly, the sheer amount of hatred this person was emitting made her a slight bit concerned. Still sitting on top of the cave, Cadence spoke up after Haven finished talking, looking at Ikari with her normal, emotionless face. "...What do you get out of this deal?" The plant doll asks. Judging by his presence, this man could likely kill them all right now in the state they were in, then march right back up the hill and kill everyone in that building. Why would he need to deal with them at all?

-I have something better than a shody healing spell. - He raised his hand, revealing his Hatred Medal between two fingers. –But this will hurt, like only hatred can.- Ikari smirked, with a purple glow on his eyes and without waiting for their permission a purple mist surged from his body, creeping towards Marika’s location, like gaseous arms extending in her directions. The Agent of Hatred used this to heal himself and he never tested it on any other individual, but Marika seemed like the kind of individual with enough hatred burning inside to pull it off. The Mist reached Marika enveloping her body. It entered her body through her nostrils, moving through her body, filling her up.
-Now comes the fun part. - Ikari whispered as he snapped his fingers. The mist was set aflame, surely capable of inflicting enough pain to kill a regular human being from shock. The Purple Flames of Hatred extended to cover all of Marika’s body. Disgusting sounds came from her shattered jaw as the bone started growing, pushing the broken pieces and fusing with the other side with delicate purple lines in the junctures, almost like a piece of Kintsugi Pottery. The muscles started growing afterwards and the nerves, invaded by the burning power of Hatred. Finally Marika’s skin started covering the exposed flesh, without leaving a scar. –I think we’re done.- Ikari commented as purple fumes raised in spiraling patterns from the Dollmaster mouth and nose.
The Agent of Hatred leaned against a tree, playing with his medal, moving it from finger to finger with expertise. –She will wake up in a couple of minutes…- He spoke without looking at the Dolls. –And she will be pissed. - He raised his eyes glancing at the Artificial Humans. –But I think you’re already accustomed to that I presume…- Ikari stopped fidgeting with the Gainen Artifact and placed it on his pocket. He kept looking around until he His eyes met Cadence, showing signs of figuring something. –You, green hair, come here… I need to ask you something.- His sinister grin widened as he pointed at the Doll. A very interesting development was being plotted on his mind, a way for the Arachne Clan to defeat the group in the Ogres compound.
-The female with the scissors...- Callis started speaking, his face a stone mask of worry and concern. – Must be Marika Arachne. - He dropped the name to see if anybody recognized it. Goemon surely did, as his smiling face lost a bit of its luster, as his mouth got crooked with an expression between disgust and shock. –I heard about her back in the BHA HQ, she is a high value target, always followed by her entourage. - The Beast Knight kept going with the explanation, retaking the word. –She employs undead creatures of her own making called “Dolls”. - Callis sat down, trying to allow his leg to heal. – There is not a lot of intelligence about these atrocities, but they are considered highly dangerous and must be treated as an extremely perilous threat.-
The Beast Knight closed his fist in front of his face. –I do not know what is her plan in this place or what does she desire with the body of the Ogre chieftain, but I will not allow her to succeed.- The fire of determination was lit aflame on Callis blue eyes as he glanced the people in the room. –In my mind we have two possible courses of action… We both fortify this location and await their next assault…- The Knight stood up, his eyes meeting with theirs as he spoke. –Or we can hunt them down like the unholy abominations they are and exterminate them as they lick their wounds.- Callis words echoed and then went silent, allowing the whistling winds to retake center stage.
Goemon spoke as Callis sat down again. –I don’t think chasing them is the smart thing to do, I mean we got some good hits, but we also got smacked hard in return.- He pointed at the Beast Knight leg. –You shouldn’t even be giving rousing speeches, much less chasing somebody in a blizzard, with a wound like that without getting it treated.- Callis looked at his leg, a bit embarrassed and half-heartily nodded, agreeing with the Karate Star. –Well, if you allow me.- Goemon walked closer to Callis and without notice punched the Beast Knight right in the cheek, throwing him to the floor. Neither the target nor the attacker moved for a moment, until Callis rushed towards Goemon, with a blade on his hand. –YOU DARE!- He roared…
But he stopped midway, lowering his blade as his face shifted from fury to curiosity in matter of seconds. The Beast Knight look stared at his injury and lifted his leg. He stomped the floor a couple of times and his surprised face was the biggest evidence that something happened. –My leg… Is healed? How?- As he talked the Beast Knight started looking at Goemon who decided to talk to everybody. –If you’re injured just line up, I can heal almost any conventional wound with my Guts punch, once we’re healed we can decide what’re we going to do with those undead bitches and their scissor wielding lunatic of an owner.-

-I wonder if I will ever get to learn that trick- thought Jose to himself as he witness Goemon using his Guts Punch. Even now he is still surprise to see the results of the technique. After all, who would have guess punching someone would heal them? Studying his own injures, Jose thinks it would probably be best to receive a Guts punch. He did consider the alternative option and just travel deep into the earth to recover from his wounds, but even now he is concern with his inability to control the amount of terra energy he would absorbs during the process. Without wasting time he begins to walk over to his mentor and stops once he gets into arms reach. Without needing to say a word, he nods to his master and prepares to receive his Guts Punch.
After carefully inspecting the Orge king's corpse, Alex discovers a rather interesting wound. While studying the wound, he asks everyone, "Did anyone see them interact with the corpse? Even if for a moment? Reaching into his pocket, he removes a ziplock bags that contains a cotton swab. He carefully opens the bag and takes out a the cotton stab. Slowly and gently he swaps the Orge King's wound, trying to gather any DNA. Next, he takes out a small camera and takes a few pictures of the wound from a various angles.

Yuu could only watch in horror as the mist crept over Marika. There was nothing she could do to dispel it. Then it ignited, and Marika's screams filled the air. Yuu gasped in horror and lunged for her, only to find actual pain in her hands when she tried to reach Marika through it. She yelped and stumbled away, staring in shock at her supposedly fireproof fingers.
Cracks rang out in the air as her jaw writhed independent of her body, reshaping itself back into a mandible's arc. New teeth erupted from her gumline with flames before bleeding gums were sealed over. Marika lay shuddering, soaked with the sweat of agony, but whole. Yuu instantly dove to cradle her, Martha spitting in the snow, disgusted she was alive. Marika mumbled weakly and hung limply in Yuu's arms as she stood. "I... thank you, sir. I don't think she would have recovered without... that." Yuu bowed slightly to Ikari. "Ugh... bushy haired piece of shit..." Marika mumbled, drawing a flurry of cooing and attention from Yuu as she soothed her sweet damaged baby.

"Marika Arachne...huh? Could this chick have a more obvious last name?" Sid remarks, thinking about the description that Callis and Goemon gave for the people who attacked the building. "Hot undead chicks that she calls Dolls...well, she certainly knows how to make zombies not look like a rotting mess." Just how zombie-like were these chicks, anyway? Pushing those thoughts to the side, Sid's eyes widened as he watched Callis get clobbered by Goemon's fist, the kickmaster resisting the urge to smirk at the response Callis gave. Now isn't that a convenient trick; you get to punch people, but heal them as well!
"I need healing too, dude. Spider bitch got some of that venom in me, so my muscles are kinda stiff too." He casually says, stretching out his arms. He awaited his healing punch after Jose got his.
---
Haven watched as Marika's jaw was abruptly reshaped by Ikari's fire, placing his hand over his mouth to hold back the possibility of him becoming ill at the sound of the jaw reforming. Once it was over, he glared over in Marika's direction for a second, also angry that she managed to recover from that injury. Ash was completely ignoring the situation at hand, instead choosing to take a small nap on the side of the mini cave Cadence had made. She honestly didn't care if Marika was going to get better or not.
Back outside, Cadence stared at Ikari with a small amount of intrigue in her eyes. Out of all the dolls, he only chose her to single out? Remembering back to his earlier actions, it had appeared to her that the medal he was playing with was somehow linked to his ability to produce those flames that healed Marika, and possibly his ability to do more...offensive attacks. Strangely enough...that medal looked similar to another object that she found in a forest months ago, Cadence only choosing to keep it because it was unique and could be valuable. Could it be possible that these medals were of a set?
Growing a large green vine under her body, Cadence sits on it and rides the vine all the way down to Ikari, stopping within talking distance of the man but not within arms reach. She looked at man filled with hatred, not showing an ounce of fear in her eyes...or any emotion for that matter. "...I'm listening." The plant doll states bluntly, seeing if he could sense that she had a similar medal to his in her dress pocket.

Ikari showed her the medal between his fingers. –I hate circling around a topic so I will go directly to the point Green Hair. - The medal bursts aflame, just as the Agent of Hatred’s eyes. –You have one of these, right? - The Purple Blaze of Hatred kept burning on Ikari’s hand as he continued, not letting Cadence reply. –You can’t lie to me, I hate when people lie to me… You have one of these here, right now… I can feel it...- The flames suddenly went off, leaving just dark fumes where they been. –I can teach you how to use it, how to get more power from it than you’ve ever had in your short life… - Ikari smirked. –You want that power don’t you? Everybody hates losing… With my help you and your companions won’t have to lose again.-
-Your Medal… can I see it? - Asked Ikari extending his hand, his eyes shining with a sinister light. –So I can properly instruct you in how to tap into its boundless power.-
-I am very thankful of your help Mes Williams, I am sorry for my outburst, I was still caught in the heat of the previous battle.- Callis bowed, apologizing sincerely to the Karate Star for his reaction. –Don’t sweat it Callis, I know a lot about Heat of battle.- He said while his hand instinctively touched the <Heat> Medal with the fabric of his Gi in between, the Gainen Artifact was really hot. Goemon smiled while turning to face the next patient. –And call me Goemon for Christ’s sake, Williams was my old man.- The Karate Star walked towards his student and punched him hard, using his Guts Punch technique.
-I must warn you that I can do this one time in a short period of time, so try to avoid getting hurt next round will you?- He explained as he walked towards Sid and then proceeded to punch the Kickmaster squarely on the face. Finally Goemon turned to face Alexander, who was asking about the body. The Karate Star soundly laughed as he walked towards the Grotesque Hunter. –BWAHAHAHA! This is a man who has a good head above his shoulders! Going all CSI MIAMI while we lick our wounds- Goemon patted Alex in the shoulder, once again accidentally using waaay much more strength a regular pat should have. –He is just like one of the squint police lab scientist in my movie “Cop Justice II: Punching in the Detroit”-
He looked at the body and pointed at the door that went outside. – Most of my fights happened outside the room, so I wouldn’t be able to tell you if somebody touched the Ogre’s body.- Callis also moved near the body and started sniffing the wound. –Whoever it was she wasn’t an undead, the scent is noxious, but is from a living creature.- The Beast Knight quickly realized what he just did and stood there, silent. He could feel the blood rushing to his face as he took a couple of steps back. He didn’t know what took over him, maybe just plain predatory instinct, to do something so beast-like.
-Eh… I think Marika Arachne is the one who caused this wound…- Callis added while he walked even further away, hoping to meld into the surroundings and vanish. –I can track her from this scent if we plan to take the offensive, or at the very least detect her if she is around.-

Jose stumbles backwards after receiving the blow. As his wounds recover he says, "Thanks." And gets back to his feet. As Callis mentions his ability to track, Jose couldn't help but think they should go after them. Before, he wanted to stay to protect the body, but now that Alex has discovered the wound, he couldn't help but thing that they have already failed their mission. Still, he didn't wish to have the Late Orge king's body be defensively, especially if someone has the ability to make zombies. He isn't too fond of the idea of facing against a giant zombie urge. With that in mind he says, "I rather we stay here and build up our defenses."
Meanwhile, Alex finishes up examining the wound, he jumps to the ground and recalls his wire threads back to his gloves. As he walks, he begins to examine the room. Last time he didn't get a change to set up traps, but considering that their one opponent was able to see his wire threads, he is planning on playing it safe and assume that all their opponent have a good enough eyesight to spot his thine threads. Even so, sometimes making someone think they discover a trap, may lead them to another one that they weren't expecting. Though, considering the plant and earth manipulators in the mix, he might not be able to do keep environmental control for long, if at all. Perhaps it would be better to go on the offense. If they are here for the Orge Body's DNA, then they already have finished their mission. Thus standing here is just wasting time if they want to prevent them from getting away. Yet, if they want the entire corpse, then they will return for it. However, another option could be that they would come back just to finish them off. Either way, he is curious about their motivation and what they are planning to do with the Orge. Without casting a vote he continues to ponder his next move.

Yuu stood uncomfortably as Ikari stared Cadence down. She had picked something like that up? She became aware of all the other dolls, including a thawed Jane, looking in with interest at the situation. "Kids, go inside and clean up. Patch yourselves up, whatever you need. Just stay ready to go." She waved her key in the air to open her door to the kaspa. "Get going now." She herded the straggling, woozy Jane and Marika through and slammed it shut, leaving just her, Cadence, and Ikari.
She took her time to inspect him. He had healed Marika, but in a way that brought horrible agony. It was fitting for how mixed her trust of him was. A man who came from nowhere to make vague threats and promises was not to be trusted. Even if he healed Marika. His presence cast a pall over the environment, dark eyes glowering through snow that could not touch him. The way his flames flooded the entire pond with violet light enhanced the feeling of control he exuded. Yuu was rarely in control of her life, and she could feel that he was bringing them into something horrible.
Martha limped over to the couch in the kaspa, collapsing to hold her brutalized leg. Following behind, Jane grasped for Ash, seeking a warm body to keep thawing her body. "Haven, we need a first aid kit. Who's hurt besides me?" Martha sat up and scanned her sisters. They seemed mostly intact. It looked like she had taken the worst, with the hole in her leg and smashed up face. She smiled when Marika collapsed in the center of the living room. Looked like Marika didn't take it very well either. "So, who wants to give her a bath?" She smiled at the idea of leaving an unconscious Marika to drown in a tub. Their rules might not even prevent it!

Sid reeled back after Goemon's punch, clutching his face for a few seconds after the hit took place. "Fucking hell...you hit like a train, dude." He remarks to Goemon, feeling the healing effects taking place. What kind of logic is that, punching someone to heal them?! Listening to everyone talk for a moment, Sid nods when Jose finished talking. "I agree with the Earth dude. I can't see shit out there in the snow, and trying to fight without a solid footing isn't a great idea for a dude like me." Looking at the absolute wreck of the place, Sid looks over at Jose. "Hey, can you put a bunch of rock around all the windows and those holes in the ceiling? So if they try to break in again, they'll make a loud sound and we'll be ready!"
---
She couldn't lie to him? Did he have some kind of mind reading with that medal...or was he just bluffing? However, his offer didn't interest Cadence as much as he thought it did. She had no real hate toward the people in the building for beating them...in fact, she was happy to be out of there for a bit. It was Marika that she hated in this world...the only thing preventing her from outright murdering her were built-in instructions in her soul string to not attack Marika.
Regardless, Cadence reached into her dress pocket and pulled out a small medal, similar to the one Ikari was showing around. "...it dropped out of the sky a few months ago, so I picked it up." The plant doll held it out for Ikari to see, not really caring much about it at the moment. She could still see Yuu in the corner of her eye, so Cadence couldn't ask him a question that she really wanted to know the answer to; could this help her either kill Marika, or set herself free? Though...there was one other question she asked earlier that Ikari never answered. "...why are you helping us? I can tell you're stronger than any of the people here...so what do you gain by letting me keep this if it has 'boundless power'...?"
---
Ash was one of the first ones in the kaspa, confidently strolling into the room and heating up the around her even more, trying to make herself much warmer after being in that frozen wasteland. Looking over at the miserable Jane, Ash reaches over and pulls Jane into a hug, letting her heat field thaw out the youngest doll's body. "Don't worry, Jane! I, Ash, will get you back to normal temperature in no time!" Ash declared, continuing to hug Jane. Haven, meanwhile, was already on the move and in the bathroom, coming out with a first aid kit. He ignored her comment about giving Marika a bath, knowing full well that all that would lead to is them getting punished again.
"Alright...Ash and Jane can wait for a few seconds. I need you to hold still, alright?" Haven says, kneeling down to inspect the damage done to Martha. Pulling out a strange jar from the box, Haven reaches his hand in and scrapes up a small amount of white paste, setting it aside and turning back toward Martha. He then lightly runs the paste across Martha's destroyed face, being quick to run the rest of the paste down her destroyed leg as well. He then steps back and pulls the jar with him several feet away, knowing that even with some of the painkillers in the paste...this was going to be a rough healing process. While Martha's injuries were healing, Haven takes some of the paste and applies it to his own injuries, gritting his teeth as the broken bones and cuts began to put themselves back into the proper places.

-You could say that I like seeing people reach their potential. - Ikari leaned against a tree, folding his arms across his chest. – I hate an unbalanced playing field, so I go out of my way… better put my employer does, to help people get a fighting chance. - His sinister smile widened. – Because trust me when I tell you, if your family goes into round 2 they aren’t winning this fight.- The Agent of Hatred lazily stretched his arms upwards, still leaning against the tree. –I’m just giving you a head start in the changes these little fellas. - He displayed the medal once again. –Will cause to the world when they become more common in the circles our kind tend to work in. - Ikari extended his hand. –Now let me see it Green Hair, I hate people who make me wait, because you didn’t pick this medal.- A dangerous glow surged from his eyes. –The medal picked you.-
Goemon sat down, legs crossed, in deep meditation. Anyone who could sense Ki would notice it swirling inside the Karate Star, who after several consecutive uses of his Guts! Punch needed to calm his inner power and prepare for the next fights. Callis moved towards the dog. –I will stand in guard, I can barely follow the stench of the necromancer witch, but at least I know their general direction. If it changes I might now if they plan to run past us or charge back in. - He opened the door, cold wind whirling inside the room. –In any case I will come back to inform you all if anything happens.-
Goemon, mid-meditation, noticed something. The current state of his mind allowed him to focus on other Ki-related skills. In particular self-healing and detection, so he detected something, just outside his range, something that made a chill run through his spine. The Karate Star opened his eyes and glanced both at Sid and Jose as he stood up. -I sense Gainen energy nearby…- He whispered those words as he could still feel the medal inside his Gi pocket burning. –I think one of the attackers has a Medal, like the one Shishioh used in Sakurajima.-

Jose nods his head after listening to Sid's suggestion to fortified the area. Taking a deep breath and closing his eyes, he begins to slowly map out the area's terra structure. Feeling even where the tiniest cracks are and beginning to slowly repair the damage earth. Hardening the material until the dirt itself starts to become as dense as stone. "This should hopefully slow down the plants movements if they are traveling through the ground." he thoughts as he anticipates his recent opponent's abilities. Soon enough he turns his attention to the other entrances to the room, including the door and the various holes leading inside and out of the room. Using various hand gestures and subtle body motion, he commands the rubble around him to fused back together.
Yet he did not just fuses broken pieces back into one, but he took his time to strength the bonds, making the overall material much stronger then before. Within a minute, he is nearly complete with covering the previous exposure entrances. Replacing the exposure areas with extremely durability earthly walls and a new dome above their head. As he about to place the last remaining fragment in the dome, he almost drops a a few tons of rubble on himself when he hears Goemon use the words, 'Gainen' and 'Sakurajima.' He couldn't prevent his body from tensing up. Just the mention of those words bring back intense memories for the young bounty hunter. While he lifts the mass back in the hair with his right hand, making Jose look similar to a Jedi using the force, he asks his master as he tries to figure the situation out, "If one of those intruders had a medal, then why wouldn't they use it...unless....is it possible that someone else has arrived,or maybe, has been here all along?"
Alex continues to survey the area and tries to figure out a plan for himself. Eventually he decides that he will simply have to play the situation by ear. Any preparation could be seen by the enemy, and the layout of the area could not be trusted if a battle emerge. Instead of setting up a trap, he will instead prepare a weapon. Considering how tough is the skin of the fire zombie, he figures that his wire thread weapons should do the trick. Moving towards Sid and Jose, Alex's politically offers the two of them a small smile, which Jose finds to be extremely creep. The ghoulish man ask the two of them in his devilish voice, "Would any of you happen to be efficient with weapons?"

Yuu just stared at the medals Ikari and Cadence held. She had never even noticed Cadence had that thing before, and it would have barely caught her attention if she had. This was a key to power that would win them that corpse? Yuu didn't care for any of this or the risks involved. But this was Cadence's choice to make. "Cadence, I don't recommend this. But if you really want to, it's your call." Despite the heat from the campfire and Ikari's aura, Yuu felt chilled to her core.
Martha sighed when Haven didn't respond. "Well, somebody get her off the floor if we're not getting rid of her." She grumbled. When the paste was applied, her whole body tensed up and she clenched her jaw tight, letting out only a tiny hiss. She angrily pulled herself off the couch and limped towards the kitchen. She had to keep a strong face, even while the pain of her regrowing body pulled her into a hunch.

Sid's eyes widened as Goemon mentioned how he sensed Gainen energy, and how one of them might have a medal. "What?! One of those chicks has a medal?! But...ya...why wouldn't they use it?" Sid asked, scratching the back of his head slightly. Could there be just someone nearby with a medal that wasn't one of those chicks? His thought train was interrupted by Alex, Sid looking at him and pointing to the sword on his back. "Yeah, I'm good with a sword...a little. Why?"
---
The changes that will happen when these medals become more common? What sorts of changes was he talking about? Cadence's confusion only grew when he mentioned how she didn't pick the medal...it picked her. Wouldn't she have to have picked it as well, for she could have just left it laying on the forest floor? She figured that this man wouldn't like her pointing that out, so she held out the medal and dropped it in Ikari's outstretched hand. Looking back at Yuu, Cadence frowned slightly. "..." Without saying a word, Cadence turned back toward Ikari, curious to see what he'd do with the medal. "...so what will you do with this?" She asked.
---
Still gritting his teeth from his own injuries, Haven hobbled over toward Ash and Jane, Ash picking Marika up and setting her on the couch. "There, Marika is on the couch now!" Ash proudly declared, getting an eyeroll from Haven. Would it be possible to just suffocate Marika by tossing her face down on the couch? Setting those thoughts aside, he gets some more of the cream and looks at Ash. "Good job, Ash. Now hold still, ok? This shouldn't hurt much." And with that, he began applying the substance on top of Ash's injuries, not getting much of a reaction from the confident doll. "Nothing hurts me! This stuff only tickles!" She proudly declared, Haven finishing up his job and moving onto Jane. "Same to you. Are you alright?" He asked the youngest doll, getting ready to patch her wounds up too.

-I don’t know, they might not know how to use it. Or is as you said and somebody else arrived.- Goemon theorized, as everyone he knew had the knowledge about the Gainen Medals and how to use it was either imprisoned, dead or wouldn’t establish a relation with the Dolls. The Karate Star didn’t know this particular power, but Sid would find it very familiar, as he fought against it last year in Osaka. Soon a secondary signature would appear, one that Jose might recognize, from fighting against it during the incidents in Sakurajima. Goemon then turned to Alexander. –I know how to use some of the weapons associated by Karate, like the Sai, Tonfa and Nunchaku, but I prefer these.- He raised his calloused and scarred fists, evidence of years of dutiful training.
Callis was standing over the Ogre’s buildings, his blue eyes narrowed to thin cracks in which the deep color of his pupils passed through, almost shining among the pure white of the snow falling on his face. The Beast Knight couldn’t feel the cold, his genetic heritage gave him resistant to the elements, but a chill crossed his body. He could feel something that scared him to his very core in the direction the traces of Marika’s stench came from. It was a familiar feeling, as if he had sensed that presence before. But at the same time this cold sensation coursed his body, something else was getting stirred, a part of him, or maybe not exactly his, was burning, ready for a fight… or better put a rematch.
-I will summon it…- As soon as Cadence gave Ikari the medal it burst aflame, the same flames the Agent of Hatred summoned before. The metallic disk started beating like a heart on his hand, expanding and contracting as dark green smoke surged from it. The stench coming from it was unholy, nothing could smell so bad in the world. The kind of smell that burns your nose and makes your eyes fill up with tears. The green smoke slowly gathered besides them, floating as a contained sphere a mt. over the ground. –What your soul drags out of the Gainen Space…- Ikari closed up his fist and more Hatred Flames engulfed the smoke, which broke out from its invisible container expanding into an humanoid form.
The figure stood at around 6’ 00’ with dirty brick red skin, slimy and wet. Rusted metallic tubes formed clothing, surging from inside its body. Each tube had glass spheres filled with neon green swirling smoke in regular intervals over its body. They covered its body like overgrown roots choking a ruin. Nuts and bolts were grafted into its unhealthy skin, some parts broken revealing even more rusted metal. The tubes end up in exhausts behind its back, like a pipe organ mixed with a Victorian factory chimney, blasting noxious green gas over its head. A large ornate gas mask with googles covered its face, with some vulture-like stylings that made this mask a strange mixture between a WWI Gas Mask and Plague Doctor headdress.
-This is the Gainen your soul created Green Hair…- The Purple Flames reignited, extending from Ikari’s hand towards the creature neck, forming a tight circle, like a leash. The flames gradually turned to dark metal, just like the one in Ikari’s armor. He extended the chain towards Cadence. –Say hello to your new pet, Industrial Poison. - Alongside the chain Ikari had the medal to give it back to Cadence. –I summoned it and broke his will with my power, yet you must exert your own dominance over it to take advantage of its abilities…- The Renegade Agent’s smile grew larger and more sinister, shadows casted over his face, hiding his features except his mouth and glimmering eyes. –Try it out, let’s see how will you control it… Will you force it to remain like it is and fight alongside you? Or will you join its might with your own fusing it with your own being?-
Now it was Cadence turn, would she become a Bound Master and summon the spectral visage of the Gainen to this world? Or an Armored Host, suiting herself in an armor made of the Gainen Energy, taking its powers and adding them to her own?

"Not really good with any weapons outside of my fists." said Jose as he slowly clenches his hand wondering if his fists are going to be good enough for the next round. Alex in turn is a bit disappointment, but regardless he will simply do what he can in this situation. Looking at Sid, he begins to calculate in his head the proper dimensions. He begins to walk in circles around the fighter, eyeing him from top to bottom. Once he is satisfied that he figured out the proper measurements, he cracks his finders and begins to go to work. Wire threads shoot out of his gloves and begins to wrap around each other in a series of complex patterns, at times the wire thread would form loops around every single thread, sometimes just a few threads, and even a couple of threads would manage to wrap around only a single thread, or loop with itself over and over again. At first this process doesn't produce anything that could look similar to any weapon, but still there is a certain attraction behind the hunchback's actions. Eventually, the threads diverge into a single location and share until it forms into a long, yet thine blade, similar to a regular size katana. The handle is perhaps the most difficult part, as Alex has to carefully web the threads in a way to prevent the handler of his most recent wire thread construction from losing their hand attempting to grip the blade. Carefully he pulls out a special fabric and wraps it around the handle of the blade. Layering it over and over again. Soon enough the blade is completed, and he offers the handle to Sid.
At first glance, the sword would look like a regular blade, yet...if someone were to examine it extremely closely, either with the proper magnifying glass, or with their own supernatural vision, they would be able to make out the incredible thine wire threads that make up the sharp tool. "Don't touch the sword's blade itself. And whatever you do, don't drop this." warned Alex. Even with the handle, the wire thread blade he created is so razor-sharp, that if he let it hit the floor, the countless layers of wires that make of the sword would completely slice the floor and the earth beneath it over and over again. And as long as the earth's gravity directed the weapon's path, it would continue to cut deeper and deeper into the mantle. "A regular sword's edge would cut once...However, this sword would be like swinging thousands of edges at once, with each edge following right behind the next in quick succession. Due to the flexibility and durability of the weapon, those edges will accumulate onto each other without fear of breaking the structure while also improving the quality of a single swing. Not only that, but the faster the swing, the sharper the blade will become. A regular man striking with this sword would be able to even cut one of the wire threads that make up the blade with little to no effort. And a single wire thread of mine could travel through steel as carefree as a person jogging through a park."
He looks Sid right in the eyes as he says, "If you accept this, let me attach a wire thread to the handle and around your wrist." Alex wants to set up a precaution should Sid's lose his grip on the blade for whatever reason.
