Jun was ready to sit back and enjoy everybody just enjoying themselves when she heard a clattering noise from the kitchen. "Could somebody come with me to check that out? You, maybe?" She gestured to Callis. He seemed to be the best. Callis likely wouldn't like her scent, an overload of flowery perfume covering something up, something impossible to place but certainly familiar to the man from Centris. "Everybody else can just keep talking if you don't want to come." Jun was especially talking to Goemon and Jose, somewhat thrilled by their bond. Otherwise, she'd try to take Goemon.

Seeing as nobody was paying attention to his joke about someone bringing a TV, Sid groaned and plopped himself on the ground against one of the many pillars supporting the room's roof. Great...now things are going to be awkward, since Jose and Goemon are already close, Callis hates him, and he had no idea about the asian girl who was now trying to get Callis to go with her to check out a noise. He'd offer to go instead...but it seemed like too much of a hassle, so he didn't bother to step into their little bonding time. Though...there was one other weird dude in the midst, and he hasn't spoken to anyone, really.
Thinking about it for a moment, this is exactly how horror movies tend to go. A bunch of people are placed in an isolated place, and the forgettable people tend to die first. He wasn't going to be the first to die tonight! Lazily getting back up, Sid casually began to stroll toward the kitchen. "I'll meet'cha guys over there." Sid says plainly, waving his hand above his head to signify he's not scared of whatever it is. Knowing this place, it's probably just a stray mouse that got loose when they were cooking, or something.

Callis nose twitched. He smelled her scent even before Jun started speaking and when the sound reached him he stopped mid movement, almost looking comical and almost mechanically (One could even imagine hearing clockwork sounds as he moved) returned to a standing position and took some very timid steps towards Jun. He was half embarrassed from the sensorial input she was getting from her, that powerful perfume reaching deep inside his nose and grabbing his olfactory nerves with a chokehold and half ashamed of being too immersed on his training exercise to hear the sound she noticed.
-Y-y-yes… eh….ah….- The Beast Knight looked down, trying to hide his blushed face as he drew circles in the floor with the tip of his boot. –I…I…. I will s-see whu….what’s happening th-there…- Awkwardly he scratched his nose while he tried to avoid looking directly at Jun’s general direction and walked towards the kitchen following Jun’s orders. He was too self-conscious thanks to Jun’s presence and smell that he didn’t detect the scent she was masking under the perfume. The Beast Knight greatest weakness, as always, was social interaction with the opposite gender, not only out of shyness, but mostly thanks to his enhanced senses making it difficult.
The glare Callis gave to the incoming Sid was an extreme change of pace for him, as he moved from almost unbearably shy to full throttle beast. The Beast Knight, not usually the competitive type, accelerated to reach the kitchen before the Lazy Kicker could.
-Errrrr….- Goemon started whistling, clearly hiding something. He looked away from his student, clearly filling guilty for something. It was clear he was trying, in vain, to contain the words trying to escape his chest. Finally he let out a massive sigh as he scratched the side of his head. –Kinda… I tried once… behind the back of the sisters…- He scratched his beard clearly uncomfortable as he spoke. –Let’s say the kids were quick learners, one of them even learned how to harness his Ki in a matter of months… quite the prodigy y’know?- He started shuffling between the photos until he found one of him alongside a tall African American teen, both were wearing Gi.
-Jamal ended up chewing more than he could bite, he tried to kick out a gang of dealers from the hood after I left two Christmas ago.- Goemon’s expression darkened as he lowered his head. –He didn’t count on them having a Hidden World muscle with them, he got wrecked by him. - The Karate Star gulped. –I told him not to go pick a fight and he ended up in a hospital. - He rubbed the bridge of his nose. –I took down the cartel myself and the HW muscle, toughest guy I ever fought, I was still recovering from the fight I had with him in January a month before we meet on Sakurajima.- Finally the Hulking Martial Artist covered his sad eyes with his calloused hand.
-I don’t want to talk more about it….-

Looking at the ground for a few moments, he gives the man some time to regain his composure. After some time as gone by, Jose places his hand on his mentor's shoulder and says strongly, "I'm here if you need me." For him it is a rare scene to see Goemon display such emotions, and it is during these times that he wish he knew how to help his mood, but all he could do is remain silent and work on his Ki and the earth around them. He turns his attention towards the kitchen for a bit, wondering if he should go, but figures that enough people are already heading there to take care of any potential problems. Besides more importantly, he did not wish to leave his master's side at this time. He returns his visual focus back to his companion as he continues to wait for him to return to his typical self. Previously he hoped that this conversation could have eventually develop into a discussion of his current training progression, but now he couldn't register such thoughts. Instead, he begins to dwell on this student, who in a few ways reminds Jose of himself a bit.
The hunter by the wall is also interested in the the noise from the kitchen, and slowly takes a few steps away from his dark corner to discover the source of the sudden noise. He follows behind the shadows of the others, making sure to stay a decent distance away, however this is not due to fear. In fact, the noise did not alarm the man at all, so much as peak his curiosity. Perhaps this will turn out to be nothing at all, but in the meantime his mind begins to fabricate plenty of situations as a means of preparing for whatever is next to come. As he gets closer to the kitchen, he begins to stretch his fingers in almost inhuman ways.

Jun was surprised by the sudden outburst of competitiveness. The cat man seemed so calm before this point. When they entered the kitchen, she noted Alex following them with surprise. "So, do you two--three have families?" She asked as something small slipped out from behind the kitchen door to crawl out along the ceiling. She casually pushed the door closed to look behind and saw nothing there. She nodded and looked back at the room.
The kitchen was huge, countertops just at the height of Jun's eyes. Shelves with labeled (in the local language of the ogres) sacks of spices lay across each shelf, ranging from ordinary things like Rosemary to things Jun hadn't identified when she looked at them earlier. Pots a human could feasibly bathe in rested above them. Utensils hung on the walls, corkscews that wouldn't look out of place on a Big Daddy and knives big enough a human could use them as swords. Great barrels, nearly as tall as an average man, sat in the corners, filled with wine, rice, flour and grain. Jun casually lifted one of these barrels to look behind when she heard a tiny squeak. She smiled and placed it back.

Sid lowered his right eyebrow slightly at Callis's sudden dash in front of him, more confused now than anything. "Chill out dude, I'm sure there is plenty of this giant ogre spider thing for all." He didn't know what the heck was making the noise, but considering how large these orcs were, their spiders must be the size of a dog. Hearing Jun's question, the lazy kickmaster scratched the back of his head casually. "Yea, but my folks don't want me around much. Wanted me to be a boring ass doctor or some crap." He really didn't miss his like growing up, since now he can take life at a much more casual pace than constantly having people trying to get him to do stuff.
Noticing Jun was investigating the barrels, Sid lazily walked over to another corner in the massive room and saw a similarly sized barrel that Jun was looking at. Lifting his leg up, Sid lightly kicked the top of the barrel upward to knock the lid off, peering into it once the lid was resting on the wall next to the barrel.

-I will be fine… I will be fine Hernandez-kun, sorry for being such a downer.- The Karate Star rubbed his eyes with one hand and puffed a small cloud of condensed respiration. –How is training going? Have you found sudden enlightenment during the holidays?- Goemon asked hopefully trying to cover up his exposed emotional wounds with the bandages of discipline and training. He needed to hide his very soft and mushy center behind his happy-go-lucky façade. Nobody, not even him, would survive tragedy without scars. –I thought of a new technique, if conditions apply I might be able to pull it off… I think it might even be my own personal Master Technique.-
Callis ignored Sid, as he looked around, he tried to sniff around the kitchen, trying to find something, a lead, that could guide them to the sound Jun said hearing. But the spices and the potent scent of the female bounty hunter perfume was overpowering the Beast Knight senses. Without even realizing he gave Jun a stealthy glance just as she asked her question. Callis looked away, giving his back to all of them and barely managed to reply, without even realizing. –My family is dead.- That was partially true, as the family on his father side was quite well, but even if they took him as family, he didn’t care for them.

"Enlightenment huh..." Turning his face away for a moment to collect his thoughts, Jose begins to reflect on his training over the holiday. Looking back at his mentor he begins to say, "I don't think I achieved it...even after performing the same techniques tens of thousands of times over and over again each day. At best, I only accomplish the goal of practicing the basics." His eyes turn to the ground as he finishes his last sentence. Strength or weakness, he never knew, but he also tends to be modest. But to him, it didn't matter how he felt about himself. Judging his own abilities would result in a bias opinion, at least that is what he believes, thus even if he wishes to move his training to the next level, he won't try to push Goemon to go to the next step until his master has faith in him. Making Jose's mind turn to himself, causes the young hunter to not analyze the goofy warrior, but the mention of his technique brings his attention back to the man and asks, "Personal master technique?"
His smile fades away as the word "family" is used. For a moment he starts to feel his true age and for the briefest of seconds, his eyes reveal all the pain and hate he has accumulate over his career as a monster slayer. He already has lost two families in his life, and he didn't enjoy thinking about them in front of others. He remains quite as he walks to the spot, where Jun picked up the barrel. Placing his hand of the object, he couldn't help but be impress by her strength. Looking around the edges and behind, he examines the dimensions as he tries to estimate the item's weight.

Jun frowned at the three in the room. Looked like she wasn't the only with a messed up home life. The scruffy kid didn't even seem to know it. He seemed utterly nonchalant as he opened up the barrel to find it brimming with a strong smelling red wine, the weight of which, Alex would find, was easily heavier than a grown man. Something was behind the barrel
Past the great steel door of the kitchen, something crawled along the ceiling, past the light of the fire. Slowly it lowered, climbing down a nearly invisible string. Clearly humanoid features would become apparent as it emerged from darkness, slowly creeping towards the body.

Dead, huh? Oddly enough, Sid wasn't that surprised to hear that coming from Callis...his 'cool guy' knightley image lends itself well to a tragic backstory, perhaps he had a princess waiting for him back home, trapped by an evil dragon...because dragons are concerned with humanoid females, apparently. Why is that...dragons would probably eat any princess on the spot, instead of holding them hostage for a 'noble hero' to come along. Pushing those thoughts aside, Sid places the covering back over the barrel of wine.
"...huh...why am I not doing this the easy way?" Sid ponders to himself, closing his eyes and sensing the ki signatures in the area. He felt a powerful signature in Jun's direction, a odd signature for Callis and Alex...and a mysterious signature both across the room, and...near the body!
Opening his eyes again, Sid takes off without a word, sprinting toward the exit and to the body they were supposed to be guarding. That thing was his next paycheck!

-Oh, didn’t I tell you about them Hernandez-kun? - Goemon asked, his face slowly returning to his usual smile. –Each of the Mountain Slaying Fist Masters adds his own variant to the Mountain Slaying Fist technique. - The Karate Star stood up and took a Seiken stance. –These techniques showcase the upmost level of skill from each Master and each of them is as deadly as is difficult to learn and unleash.- Goemon did a couple of flawless Seiken forms, no strength behind them, as he spoke. –When you master the basic Mountain Slaying Fist form I will start by teaching the first master technique… Moete.- For a moment it seemed as if Goemon’ fist was covered in thin flames, like a stove in minimum, but that effect stopped as soon as it started.
Callis tried to avoid looking a Jun. Truthfully he was trying to avoid looking at anybody, but as he moved his head away from the group he noticed Sid’s reaction to something. That kick started his senses back on the right track and noticed the sound coming from the humanoid figure. –Over there, an intruder!- He shouted as he pointed at it. Without thinking twice, after calling attention to it he summoned a Notio Gladius to his hand, emitting a soft white light around the kitchen and charged towards the creature.

The gently fleeting flames dance calmly along Goemon's fist, which captivates his student. Yet, the lilliputian energy alone did not grab his attention, rather it was the movement of his mentor that guides his focus. He never picture the Mountain fist style be use with such fluidity. Besides the clear master level quality of the display, the prospect of the master techniques reinforces the young hunter's desire to advance to the next stage of his training. As he continues to watch the kata, it becomes a reminder of his own skills with the basic forms. "Once again you inspire me." he said underneath his breath so low that one would need Callis' ears to hear the words with the present distance between him and Goemon. Standing up now, he takes a deep breath and begins to perform a few stances and techniques. At first his moves are somewhat rigid and contain too much power (at least in comparison to his instructor); however as time passes, the evolution of his skills occur in real time with ever slightly increasing improvements on his control, pacing, and relaxation. Even his inner Ki starts to extending throughout his body until it is nearly perfectly in sync with his body's flow.
Alex reacts by unleashing his wires around his body. The super thine wires would be practically invisible to the average person as the width of each individual thread could rival a spider's silk. His eyes casually follow the others for a moment, yet he remains where he is in order to discover what is behind the barrel. Without needing even a second to prepare, he carefully wraps his threads around the environment as well as the barrel to create a uniquely design pulley system to lift the heavy object. However, he does set up threads around him for other purposes due to his paranoid mindset. Soon enough the barrel is no longer touching the ground, revealing whatever is behind.

Jun saw Sid bolting for the door out of the corner of her eye. In an instant, she was in front of the door, holding her hand outstretched. "Stop! Are you just going to rush out there without know what you just felt?" She glared into his eyes and kept her position. A slight bit of panic revealed itself in her eyes when Callis waved his sword in response to something in the room. "Callis, calm down, please." She pleaded before she saw the barrel being lifted. Plainly in view was a tiny little plump girl in a blue sweater and sweatpants, pulling her knees to her chest, staring out at everybody in the room with horror. To most, she just looked like a little girl. But to Callis, there was more. Beneath a body odor of bubble bath, there was a distinct lack. The girl's body was bloodless. Empty of all sorts of things necessary for life. She was among the undead. Jane tumbled back and ducked behind another barrel. "Eep!"
Outside, the small figure, apparently still unseen by Jose and Goemon, lighted on the ogre's shoulder. She pulled a lovely scalpel from her belt and sliced deep. Coagulated black blood sluggishly oozed forth from the point of injury and she gave a devilish grin, making more shallow cuts to the shoulder region to get a feel for its anatomy. She hummed some dark tune to herself, thrilled with the ease of this operation.

Sid lowers his right eyebrow slightly at Jun in confusion. Why was she stopping him for a dumb reason like that? Before he could try to move around her, the sound of Alex lifting the barrel made him look over to see the chubby girl hiding behind it. Then ducking behind another barrel. "...uh...huh...I'll let you dudes deal with the kid." Digging his right heel into the floor, Sid bolts forward, attempting to duck under Jun's arm and into the other room, headed straight for the other strange ki signature he felt that was right next to the body.

Callis, caught in the moment, didn’t hear Jun’s request, his senses and instincts guiding him. The Beast Knight kicked the barrel with barely contained fury, as memories of the past flooded his mind, the suffering the blight of the undead brought to his country and his hometown by the hand of a wicked necromancer. It didn’t took much time for him after the kick blew the barrel away, in fact he started the motion before he retracted his leg, to swing his Notio Gladius with clear killing intent, or better put vanquishing intent, considering the target being an undead. The sparkling white blade cut through the kitchen rustic furniture like high pressure water through metal.
-Die monster!- Callis shouted from the top of his lungs, a dark undertone on his voice, but the moment the light projected from his sword reached Jane’s childish face he stopped mid-swing, his blade only cm away from the Doll face. –I…. I can’t….- He muttered, almost pained to do so. As much as he hated the undead he couldn’t harm a woman or a child and Jane happened to fall in both categories. His hands trembled with the restrained desire to slash the little girl in half with a single swing. –Leave now girl… Before I break my oaths and destroy you, no matter your age or how you look, undead vermin should be exterminated.- Callis could barely recognize his voice, this wasn’t the guttural growl from the Beast inside him taking over. It was cold, like steel encased in ice, something too different to the Knight's usual tone.
Goemon smiled as Jose followed his steps, but as his worries melted away he relaxed enough to return to a heightened state of mind, trademark of any self respecting Hidden World Martial Artist. In this relaxed state his senses and his Ki detection slowly reached a longer range thus he noticed the strange presence nearby. Without trying to let whoever was there now he noticed it he smiled to Jose and said. –I think I might have to show you Moete earlier than what I expected Hernandez-kun.- The Karate Star took a stance with his right arm ready to punch, while his left arm was fully extended forward with the palm open and facing forward. He was giving his back to the strange signature.
-The important thing with Moete is focusing your Ki, not in a single point, but in a spinning ring.- The Ki coursed through his body reaching his closed right fist. – The movement charges the Ki with heat, make it spin as fast as you can and then…- Goemon winked at Jose while doing a gesture with his mouth pointing backwards, towards the presence. –Really know where you plain to aim it… And…- The Karate Star turned around with incredible speed using his heels as axis for the 180 degree spin. His extended hand served as iron sights for his closed fist, now covered in flames. –FIRE AWAY WITH A HEART BURNING WITH PASSION!- Goemon extended his fist towards the figure with the scalpel, in a upward angle to avoid hitting the Ogre and a small detonation echoed around them as a small explosion (usually happened inside the enemy) blasted from his fist.
YAMAKOROSHI MOETE KEN! HONOO NO TAKI (Burning Mountain Slaying Fist! FLAMING WATERFALL)
A jet of fire blasted forwards towards the intruder, bathing the surroundings with light. Goemon knew that anybody nimble enough to get through him and Jose was more than enough capable to dodge this attack, but that’s were Jose entered in the scene, using the illumination to help aim his own abilities to detain or crush the attacker. Goemon was trusting his student.

The moment Jose sees his mentor's smile, his awareness changes away from them and spreads outwards, where he detach the intruder. He quickly takes a mental note to lecture himself later for not paying attention, especially when he is on guard duty! Yet he does not halt his current activity at all. Instead, he begins to slightly change his actions and movement to better prepare himself to assist his fellow bounty hunter in the next few seconds. The difference between his old actions and new ones is so natural that it would appear to even some of the most carefully observant individuals that neither his body, or previous mentality, have alter at all. However, his mentor without a doubt could tell that his pupil has pick up on the trespasser as well. In fact, had another person been addressing him besides his own mentor, he would have most likely miss the signal and would have been clueless about his current situation. After spending countless days training with massive movie star and experiencing his exceedingly imposing larger-than-life attitude, he has develop his own Goemon radar to read his master's mood, even to the point of being able to tell the difference between his friendly smile when meeting someone new, or his 'I'm about to pull off something cool to help beat the bad guy' smile.
Jose's movements and techniques affect the earth underneath them as two distinctive shapes start to form right below his target. Lucky for the earth shaper, the ground that he is currently manipulating is far too deep and carefully commanded to be seen, or even felt by others, along as requiring someone of extraordinary KI sensing abilites to be able to detach the Ki infused materials being used a few meters below the surface thanks to using the earth to cover up his own KI signature. Plus, being able to prepare in advance to establish his "territorial control" immensely improves his own ability to quickly ready an assault against this sneaky foe. As soon as his mentor winks and launches his incredible bright flame blast, he understands at once that the attack is being use to set up an opening for him, and just in time too as he finishes his own creation. As Goemon's technique approaches their opponent, Jose brings both of his knees to his chest and quickly launches his feet into the ground. As soon as his feet make contact with the earth, the floor right underneath the intruder erupts as two humanoid rock creatures, slightly bigger than Jose himself, quickly rushes towards the interloper at subsonic speeds. The rock creatures are simply Jose's earth armor that he is remote controlling using his earth manipulation powers. In order to operate them requires much concentration and using at least a single hand to command one of the armors. The manner in which he operates this technique causes him to look similar to a puppet master, for when he adjusts his fingers, the powerful earth bodies move in perfect sync.
His plan is simple. When the individual avoids Goemon's attack, he will use his earthly puppets to strike and seize the culprit. A useful bonus to this particular technique, is that he can change the trajectory of his earth puppets quite easily with the slightest movements with his hands and fingers, on top of being able to levitate and command the Ki infused armors to fly as well. Thus making them very versatile for aerial combat. Soon enough his Ki infused rock armors closes the gap and unleash a barrage of punches that will not stop until they have incapacitated the enemy. Still, even with his hands occupy with the task of controlling his earth armors, he is still capable of using his legs just fine. Twisting his body a bit to increase his speed, he lifts his right leg straight up with perfect balance and is now in a position to use an axe kick. Which he does not perform right away, so he continues to keep his foot above his head as he waits for the right opportunity. However, what seems to be an axe kick is not a truly an axe kick, but rather a body movement that will cause a huge earth spike (roughly 10 feet in diameter) to shoot down from the ceiling and slam/penetrate an enemy as soon as he drops his heel. In case his target is able to avoid both his earth armor suits' onslaught, he plans to use this attack to land a blow.
Watching the beast knight, he makes no move to intervene at first, due to being so fascinated by the anger radiating from the hairy fellow's behavior. However, after he witness the man's decision to spare the creature, he becomes rather disappointed. Still, unlike Callis, Alex has no issues with dealing with a little zombie girl. He unleashes his threads all around his body, as a measure to not only protect himself should the girl retaliate, but to also guard himself from anyone else in the room for that matter, as well as if another unexpected individual arrives. Using roughly a dozen or so threads, he fires them towards the girl in an attempt to warp her up using a full body restriction, where if she tries to struggle by moving her body even a single centimeter, the sharp wire threads would cut into her body, which will not only cause pain, if it can feel such a thing, but also increase the restriction's capabilities. Once trap, he plans to ask a few questions. Normally he would want to take his time with interrogations, but he does not have the luxury to waste precious hours, days, or even weeks with his usual methods. The fact that this thing is here is already a dangerous sign. He wishes to learn how she got inside right away. With that information he hopes he will be able to prevent others from getting inside by the same method. Even if there are other intruders here, his mind already thought ahead to what to do after dealing with the current trespassers. If he is suppose to be here for a while, he is not going to allow avoidable mistakes to be made under his watch.

"Jun" moved faster than Sid seemed to predict, hand coming down to grab the back of his shirt as he passed under her arm. She spun to hurtle him hard into a wheeled metal table in the center of the room, using more force than she intended in her rage. Her eyes burned at Alex and the tiny girl who screamed endlessly in pain before him, trapped tight in his web. "Now you three are going to stay right here and let her go."
The figure turned, eyes visibly widening is the light cast off by the attack. She jumped back, swinging on the string she had lowered on to move in a wide arc away from the blast. She released her grip and flew to a wall, sticking tight to it. The fire's light cast a large and dire shadow from her petite form. "Fuck! Get in here!" She yelled, scrambling higher to be out of the way of the golems rising behind her. The earthen spike dropping from the ceiling took her by surprise, given it was a wooden roof. She hesitated a moment too long and blood spattered the ground as she rolled across the ground.
Before the golems could fall upon her, there was a noise like thunder. The doors shook like they were in a hurricane. Another blow rang out and the mighty front doors toppled. A muscular girl lowered her leg and stepped forward, dragging her feet. Behind her, an even bulkier young woman was posing with the biggest grin that could fit on her face. "Sorry... but we're taking that." Martha said, cracking her neck.

Sid wasn't expecting Jun to react so quickly, and crashed hard into the metal table in the center of the room, knocking it backwards with a loud 'BANG' and hitting the ground. "...god...damn it." Sid mumbles to himself as he raises his legs upward, and leaps back onto his feet. The table had surely left a bruise on his back where contact was made, but he didn't care about that currently; there was a rat in their midst. "What's the big idea?! You're betraying us now?! I don't have time for this..."
Glaring at 'Jun' blocking the door, Sid ignores the scene with Jane and reaches into his pocket, pulling out a small stick of dynamite and clipping it onto his boot. "You can talk to the crazy dude about letting her go, after I get the hell out of here!" Digging his feet into the floor, Sid rockets across the room toward the wall...but not at the doorway. He realizes that trying to fight the chick would be a pain in the ass, so the next best thing is to make his own door! Swinging his dynamite leg back, he attempts to slam it into the wall and have the stick explode upon impact, creating an even more powerful explosion to knock down a larger section of the wall.
---
In the main room, the grinning girl cracked her knuckles, speed walking so she would be ahead of Martha. "That's right! We need that ogre over there! So step aside, or face perfection itself...Ash!" Ash pointed to herself, her long flowing orange hair trailing behind her. She wore a peculiar outfit for the snowy climate; her normal tiny orange coat over a black sports bra, and an orange miniskirt along her waist. However, Ash was using her head manipulation power to make a small field of heat around herself to block out the snowy weather.
Near the window, Haven had heard Marika's command and began peering through the glass, sizing up the people inside. There were only two people guarding the ogre's body, and there were currently three people inside ready to deal with them. Having been given the instruction to attack from afar, Haven waited until fighting began; as to not give his own position away. Up on the roof, however, Cadence was wrapped up in multiple layers of coats that made her look like a giant green marshmallow...and was also given a support role. Closing her eyes, Cadence rips off a small section of the roof for her to see through, and began to grow the potted plants in the room to use as weapons against Goemon and Sid. But, like Haven, she kept her actions subtle until fighting actually started.

-Hernandez-kun, that was a great effort. - Goemon completely ignored Ash and the others dolls as he gave Jose a thumbs up. – That technique was quite incredible is a shame we underestimated the numbers of our opponents. - The Karate Star finally turned to face the newcomers, his face displaying an excited grin. –Never fought with a perfect fighter before, this ought to be fun. - He didn’t seem to be making fun of Ash or being sarcastic, as a pure Martial Artist he respected the enemy and was thrilled to test his own strength against a seemingly more powerful foe. –Hernandez-kun.- Goemon glanced at his student. –I will take care of the red-haired one, I hope you can handle whatever that potted plan will do.-
The Karate Star didn’t even hesitate, fully trusting that Jose would back him up, the sort of trust a master has on his apprentice. He stepped in towards Ash with an amazingly fast starting dash, at least for him. The detonation of a Ki explosion under his heel signaled his rush forward, aiming a double punch towards Ash, his first fist was just a decoy, aimed to the Doll face, while his second fist, the real attack, was directly aimed to her stomach. A classic old-school karate move, banned from tournaments. He focused his killing intent on the first blow, trying not only to deceive Ash’s eyes, but also her instincts. Goemon might have been a movie star for a long while, but he had his fair share of real fighting experience across his years and several successful 50 or 100 men kumite on his back.
Callis looked in disbelief everything happening in front of him. Jun hitting Sid and Alex attacking Jane. It was too much, too many things pulling from him. What was he supposed to do? Follow his Code and help the suffering young girl? Or follow his common sense and help destroy the undead atrocity? Stop Jun because she is endangering the mission? Or allow her to keep going? Everything seemed so easy back in Centris. Fight the undead, protect the innocent, stand up against those who followed a wicked path. Everything was so clear, Callis charged into the fray without any doubts, knowing he was doing the best for everybody. But in this world, not everything was as black and white as in Centris. Or maybe Centris was like this, but the new and foreign background finally opened the eyes of the Lost Knight.
He was split in half, as he always had been, the Beast trying to unleash its chaos, while the Knight kept an unyielding posture of discipline and lawfulness. He always try to hear the later while ignoring the first. But lately he felt lost… as if the Knight was slowly losing its grasp to reality in a world that wasn’t its own. While the Beast seemed to want to gleefully partake in the seemingly constant fighting across these lands, without caring for who got injured, or who got killed. All his life the Beast Knight trusted his human side to the driving, guiding himself through reason and discipline instead of instinct. But this time around reason didn’t have the answer to his plight. He was morally paralyzed. He never met an undead creature who seemed so life-like, in his world they were perversions of the Flow of Magic. Maybe in a different world, different rules applied.
All this left him doubtful of what to do. How to proceed? Attacking, defending or trying to find out what was going on? That was the question. And the answer was something that surprised even Callis. Almost as if his body moved on his own, he aimed a powerful downward slash to the wires Alexander entangled Jane with. If he was wrong he wouldn’t doubt to carry his mistakes and his sins on his back. –Stop this madness right now!- He exclaimed, not only glaring at Alex, but also at Jun, with a tone of severity not surging from the Knight, but from Callis himself.

Not bothering to engage in conversation, he simply examines his new foes. Jose pulls his earth soldiers back to his side. He walks towards one and presses his hand against the back of the earth armor. Soon enough the Ki enhance armor breaks apart and begins to crawl over his skin, until finally reconnecting itself until it is once again whole. He lifts his left hand and takes command of his other earth armor. Studying the Ki presences all around him, he knew that he would need to careful here, especially since his own abilities could put the decease Orge body in danger. He looks ahead where the doors used, and places right hand on his hips as he gets his legs into a strong stance. Once he establishes a connection with the earth around him, he fires his own punch in the general direction of the intruders ahead of him The ground beyond Goemon and Ask's positions shift and transform into two massive mini van size earth fists heading straight towards his opponent. However, that was not the only think he manage to accomplish. When he was entering his most recent stance to prepare this current attack with the earth fists, he uses the action of his feet gripping the earth and commands the ground below the Martha to pull her slightly into the earth in an attempt to keep her in place while the earth fist prepares to smash her.
Following up his attack, he reaches out his right hand to take control of the earth spike he had dropped and command it too explode into many fragments, each one being just big enough to use as a stepping stone. Then, without any hesitation, he uses his other hand to tell the remote controlled Earth armor to jump on top of one of the many fragments currently in the air and immediately push off using his earth platform movement skill. The technique allows him, or his earth armor, to jump off an individual foothold of earthly material to rapidly increase his, or its, speed by using the terra energy within the rock he, or it, pushes off of. Thus creating an efficient propelling force to allow Jose, or his earth armor, to move faster than he, or it, normally could. However, one of the side effects of this short term burst of force is the destruction of the material he uses to increase speed along with costing him much individual effort to perform the technique. The more he uses the technique in quick session, the faster he, or his amor can become, but at the same time, the move takes larger and larger quantities of energy and stamina to pull off, especially if he is wearing the armor himself while using the technique to increase his own speed.
Still, he only needs to use one fragment for his amor to increase its speed close to that of sound's. Yet, rather then making an attempt to charge an opponent in front of him, the amor instead launches upwards towards the ceiling where he sense someone above him. The suit of armor breaks through the wooden roof right underneath Cadence and prepares to lift her off the ground and grab her in a bear hug. Jose doesn't need to look up to know where his opponent's position is, rather he will rely on his Ki senses, which also informs him of yet another intruder by the window. While remaining close to the Orge's corpse, he points his right hand hand upwards and takes control of the remaining fragments in the air. Then with a powerful gesture of thrusting his arm to the side, he launches the remaining fragments, roughly a few dozen of them as large as an average person's torso, right through the window at his other foe. However, these rocks move rather slowly compare to his other tactics, and are rather easily avoidable for those of peak physical human level. His latest move would only serve the purpose of trying to momentarily prevent her from intervening and protecting her comrades from his other attacks.
Wires threads were in place and ready to intercept Callis's slash, preventing him from freeing the young girl. The action doesn't seem to cause him much surprise, but the fact that the Beast Knight's weapon is perfectly fine against his insanely sharp wire threads does impress the ghoulish looking hunter. Still, he refuses to follow the demands to release the girl. Instead he simple informs the her, "Stop struggling. The more you move the tighter the threads become." His voice has no sympathy, yet no cruelty as well. Hearing more commotion from the other room he continues to say, "As for you two, why don't you do your jobs and worry about the dead body we are payed to protect instead of focusing on the safety of this one right here. I don't understand why you are trying to help this zombie. From what I can tell, she isn't suppose to be here. So rather than letting her go like a bunch of morons, why don't we try to figure out how who she is and how she got here. Maybe she even knows vital information about the other intruders who just entered here. Such as their names, abilities, motivations and god knows what else." He looks at Callis and remarks, "You yourself was wiling to kill her just a moment ago, so I won't distrust your loyalty to the assignment; however-" He looks at Jun with a suspicious look in his eyes. "-You notice her before the rest of us and were willing to let her go without even asking a single question. Was it too much of an effort to ask for a name? Who she was? How did she get here? Do you have any clue about the danger her presence alone here represents to our security if we just ignore this?" His voice starts to reveal a bit of anger, yet it doesn't seem to be aim strictly at Jun. "Overlooking one little thing could lead to the worst possible result."
Addressing the girl he talks to her while keeping his eyes on the others, "I'll release you girl as soon as you tell me everything you know. And if you don't move, the whole process shall be painless. If you say nothing and do nothing, then you will remain in this state until we resolve the issue with the other intruders." He controls his threads to readjust themselves to the same level of restriction as when he first trapped her. No longer cutting into her skin as before, but still tight enough to prevent her from moving. Yet should she try to move, the wire threads will once again cut inside her body. "Now, first things first...what is your name?" Though he asks the question to her, Alex continues to watch the others in the room as keeps his guard up against an attack.
