In the wild streets of Zanzibar, a young huntress was on the prowl. She paused and sniffed the air to orient herself. It was her only means of tracking her prey now that the instructions Gan had written out for her had gotten smudged. And bingo, she caught the scent. With a hurried step, she cut through the crowd like a shark through water. It didn't take long for her to find her quarry.
Osechi entered the restaurant with a skip and a hop and a gleeful smile now that her nose was bombarded by the delicious smells of meat, seafood, fried rice, and various fried doughs. She looked around until she found an empty table in the bustling restaurant and took a seat. The waiter came soon, yelling something to his colleagues in Swahili, some inside joke Osechi didn’t understand, before asking her what she’d like to eat.
She looked at the menu and the many interesting-sounding and delicious-looking dishes. She really wanted to try them all, but she had a feeling Gan told her something about them before he left for Yomi.

"Remember, don’t eat too much. The normals will be weirded out if a fit girl like you eats five times her bodyweight."
Present
Well, it probably wasn’t anything important. “Yes, I’ll start with a beef pilau,” she felt like opening with a rice dish and she got it in just about half an hour. The goddess of food was sufficiently impressed by what she tasted. The spices tantalizingly tingled the tongue and the crunchy texture from the nuts complemented the softer rice. The beef was also delicious, though a bit overcooked. Osechi would’ve added some vegetable broth to the rice, but it was overall a solid 8/10. Next she ordered Urjo soup with some Ugali, an interesting mix which she stuffed down with glee, giving it a mental 10/10. Next, she ordered a bunch of octopus dishes (all graded between 6 and 10/10) and by this point, the restaurant staff were looking at each other with shock, disbelief, and even some worry for the health of the young woman. She followed it up with zimbabwe pizza, then some desserts, and then…
2 hours and too many repeatedly washed dishes later later
“I-is that all?” asked the waiter, sweating profusely, partially from all the running around he did to meet Osechi’s demands and partially from fright at this woman’s insatiable appetite. He worried she might start eating the cutlery at this rate, too…
“Hm, yes, I think I’m satisfied for now. Oh, but it would be rude of me to go home empty-handed now. I should probably get dinner for everyone else. Alright, I was three of everything I had today, with some these and these and a bit of these…” She pointed at the various menu items. “And wrap them up nicely, please!”
“U-um, do you have a truck or something? How do you mean to transport all of this?”
“D-don’t worry, I’ll have my friends drive over and take them home. Definitely.” It was a good thing she had one of those interdimensional bags with enough space to house, well, a house.
4 hours and 1 teleportation later
It took the chefs a while to make Osechi’s bountiful order and, though Osechi wasn’t aware of it, they had to close the restaurant for the day since they were out of supplies. Osechi meanwhile had gotten home, carrying what would surely be a feast for all the Musashi that stayed in the castle after the Yomi assault team left. Eeeeeven though the goddess couldn’t stop herself from lightening her load on the way back.
“Hey, guuuuuuuys! I brought dinner! Can you help me unpack?” she called out to her colleagues. But when they came to her, their faces were grim, far too grim.
“Hm? What happened to you guys? Is everything alright?” She asked.
They shook their heads. “Osechi-sama, a lot has happened while you were gone. It seems someone took advantage of the fact that our highest-ranking members, including Akane-dono, are gone. The Musashi have lost all contact with Soon-sama and Kaguya-sama, and it seems Soon-sama’s sister disappeared with them. We are initiating a search and rescue operation as we speak…”
