Haruko's eyes widen with concern as K-4 fell to the ground, seemingly in a large amount of pain. Before she could rush over there, Raisa began talking to her. They fought a metal man? The man they saw earlier didn't seem to have any metal on him at all. Could there have been a second challenger after the first one? Pushing those thoughts aside, Haruko turns to Raisa. "Thank you for the information. I would like to hear more...once we are done here of course. Excuse me."
Walking up to K-4, the battle seamstress kneels down and looks at the clone. "Are you alright? I heard what Crow over there said. Could you please tell us who these two are? And what is in here..." As she said that last part, Haruko began to run her right pointer finger along the edge of the refrigeration unit, unsure of if she should pry into it or not.

Both Mrs. and Mr. Shishioh were knocked down by Dan’s quick reaction, but there was a difference. Mr. Shishioh received the hit and curled into a ball the moment he experienced pain, while Mrs. Shishioh rolled with the fall and stood up immediately. She was in shape and she had training, not really noticeable what kind of training, but the point was that she was way more fit than the lard-ass husband of hers. With a strict frown suddenly appearing on her face, a scowling glare at Dan she shrieked. –WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE UNCOUTH PEON!?- While pointing him with her tidily trimmed fingernail. –DO YOU LACK ANY KIND OF MANNERS OR EDUCATION, LIKE ALL THE STUPID MUSCLEBOUND GORILLAS!?-
She walked towards the Pink Comet clearly without any hint of fear, too pissed to care. She snapped under the pressure, the trigger was being attacked. She started poking with her finger at Dan’s chest, looking him down as she was barely taller than the Avatar Warrior. –YOU’RE LIKE ALL OF THEM, YOU COME YOU ATTACK AND YOU DON’T THINK OR ASK! HUH!? HUHH!? HUHH!?- She accented every grunt with a poke. Mr. Shishioh was still on the ground, grabbing the place were Dan smacked him, whimpering and sobering like a child, while his wife, clearly the one with the pants around the house was chastising Dan. –I DON’T THINK YOU HAVE ANY RIGHT TO ATTACK ME, SO I’LL TAKE MY LEAVE, I HAVE IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO…- But as she finished that sentence and turned towards the cart with the refrigerated boxes she stopped on her tracks with her eyes slowly closing into a furious glare, after hearing a single word.
-Mother…- Rin, who got near to the discussion as it happened.
The Matriarch of the Shishioh family turned around and fulminated her daughter with eyes like burning embers. –You…- She whispered menacingly as she walked forward. The veins on her face popping out, her hands trembling as she closed them into a fist. –Mother…- Rin also advanced until both were face to face. The youngest Shishioh tried to talk but before she could utter a single word a Knife hand blow hit her on the temple. Her mother hit her, Rin felt bloody rushing to her head as a small line of blood dripped from an open wound and saw her father standing up behind her mother. Mrs. Shishioh posture and result was clearly thanks to some kind of martial art, any trained eye would guess some style of Karate.
-Mother, you can’t win, no matter how hard you hit.- Rin spoke as she swiped the blood with the sleeve of her jacket. Mrs. Shishioh seemed to be shouting, but she only managed to emit a choked sound as she raised her hand again. –Mother don’t make me do this.- Rin’s expression was of desolate sadness as her mother tried to punch her, but before she could act Mr. Shishioh got in the way of the punch, a textbook Karate Seiken and stood tall as his nose was crushed under his wife fist. With blood splattering his face and shirt he still managed to talk. –Stop it, just stop it… we lost, we never had to fight in the first place…- Mrs. Shishioh was completely shocked.
He turned to face Rin. –I don’t care she isn’t mine… or that Gen isn’t mine… I lived under your boot for too long and my cowardice was the source of their pain… not anymore… We just sacrificed a son and you want to kill our daughter?- He asked coldly, without realizing what that he revealed something important.
-Gen is dead?- Rin muttered, feeling her whole body lose any strength she had left. Once again she asked shouting. –GEN IS DEAD!? MY BROTHER…YOUR SON….. YOU KILLED HIM!?- Rin fell on her knees wailing in pain. Everything was in vain…
K-4 was still shaken as he took small bites of chocolate. The effect was immediate, but not because of the herbs or the soothing ingredients. It was the chocolate, the flavor… the sweetness. This was the first time K-4 ate something sweet. His young eyes suddenly filled with tears of joy as he chomped down the chocolate with a face that could be used as the definition of bliss. He looked at Haruko, teary eyed, and tried to reply with his mouth full of chocolate. –Tweysh? Tweysh awre twe pwarentsh owf twe bwlacksh haiwredsh bwoysh!- (They? They are the parents of the black haired boy).
As he finished talking Rin started shouting, and that got the attention of the young boy, still too baffled by the first taste of sweetness on his mouth too remember the far too recent traumatic experience.
Meanwhile in the JHWAB HQ
-Sir, we can’t stop him… he just destroyed another roadblock…. And we can’t deploy the Omega Squad, they are otherwise occupied in tasks of equal or even greater importance.- Norio Bushitora informed Roshi Yasumori, the leader of the JHWAB with a worried tone on his voice.
-Well then, focus on protecting Sakurajima, I’ll talk to Fukuma when whatever he is doing is completed, if not we won’t even catch him…- The Leader wisely ordered as they followed Reiji’s progress through a monitor, he was at least avoiding cities and places with great concentration of individuals.
He was halfway to Osaka already.

Dan grew more tempted to hit the woman each time she prodded him. Maybe just a little tap to the stomach. He sighed and looked away. He couldn't let himself return to that state of mind where violence was his response to all his problems. "Mother…" His eyes widened and he looked at Rin. This was Mrs. Shishioh? He felt himself drawn to the Shishioh's now, walking towards them in a halting fashion like he was resisting a pull he couldn't overcome. "GEN IS DEAD!? MY BROTHER…YOUR SON… YOU KILLED HIM!?"
Dan stomped the last few steps. "Stop calling her mother, Rin." He moved to grab the back or Mrs. Shishioh's clothing and make her face him. "She's not worthy of the title." He drew back his fist, knowing he could demolish her worthless skull with a single blow. "I'm killed so many today. What's one more?" He bared his teeth and swung. His fist embedded itself in the wall with a great clang. "One more... is too many. Because I'm not you." He gave her a final glare and looked down at Rin. What could he say? What could he do? He opened his mouth to comfort her and nothing came out. He shut it and turned away, bolting out of the lab. Just where was she?
He charged out of the university, ignoring the broken glass on his bare soles as he burst from the hallway where they met the last man they had to kill. Yes, there she was! Beneath the hole her fist had made in the wall, Yuriko lay curled in sleep. He rushed over and knelt, putting a hand on her shoulder. He closed his eyes and breathed deep. Deep he dove, feeling himself in two places at once. He still felt his fingers on her body outside, his lacerated feet on the grass of the courtyard, but he also stood in the world of Yuriko's dreams.

THE CRUSHING WEIGHT OF TRUTH
The realization that after everything they had been through was for nothing and all the battles that fought so hard to win yet in the end they lost the war hit the Gunslinger hard. He heard the sound of Rin and Mrs. Shishioh arguing and saw Dan walking away but in his mind they were a distant thing everything came to him from the end of a long tunnel. For a brief moment Crow gripped his heart and he stumbled in his place. While there was something admirable about Mr. Shishioh finally growing a back bone it was too little and for a split second Crow reached for Quicksilver to shoot both the Shishiohs dead where they stand, no trial, no jury just execution but he remembered K-4.
The Last Gunslinger made his way over to K-4 as the screaming continued in the background, he knelt down by the boy and put on a friendly smile but the others were still screaming at each other. “I’m sorry about running off on you earlier. It’s been a long and stressful night my mind wasn’t in the right place. I ask you your name and left before you could tell me so can you please tell me it. You seem to be loving that chocolate I guess that another thing we have in common. There more where that came from if you could tell me about your gramps kiddo?” Cautiously Crow reached out and place his hand on the clone shoulder he wasn’t sure what would happen if they made physical contact but if something similar happen again he needed to gain some insight into Dr.Kago’s whereabouts or at the least try to give K-4 a few more pleasant memories.
Meanwhile as all the chaos was going around Crow he couldn’t help but sense something major was heading their way it felt like a storm of complete raw power and force that would blow away anyone who dared stood in it way. Unbeknownst to the Gunslinger it was Reiji Fukuma.

Haruko silently observed the exchange between Rin and her parents, listening to both them and K-4 as he happily ate the chocolate in his hands. So these were Gen's parents? The woman was obviously the one in charge of the household, and likely the one who had the most hand in having her son captured. The emotion in her face drained as Mr. Shishioh mentioned how they "sacrificed a son", meaning that they were too late; Gen was dead. Turning to K-4, Haruko nods her head politely, her voice now much less cheerful. "Thank you. I'll be back..."
Standing back up, the seamstress glances over to Sid with a cold, hard stare. "Make sure they don't leave this room. Got it?" "Yeah yeah...do what'cha gotta do..." Sid saw how serious she was, and didn't want to piss the girl off anymore. With Sid now blocking the doorway, Haruko made her way back over to the refrigeration unit. Now wasn't the time to comfort Rin, as she needed to get some of that emotion out right now. In the meantime, Haruko gave Mrs. Shishioh a cold, angry stare that wasn't normal for a typically cheerful person as herself.
Slamming her fist down upon the top of the unit, Haruko motions for Mrs. Shishioh to look at it. "One question. What's in here?" Her voice clearly had both anger and sadness in it, both held back by her professionalism. Now wasn't the time to act on emotions, not when they didn't have all the details.

Yuriko was sitting with her arms hugging her legs over a boulder towering besides a mountain stream. She could hear the laughter of voices she knew in the past, stretching their joy and happiness towards her, flowing like the quiet stream leisurely moving in front of her, but never as cold. The wind whistled through the forest, humming a tune of peace and tranquility. This is the mind of a discipline martial artist, a place only created through rigorous training and willpower. This was the place were Dan landed and Yuriko, from atop of the boulder glanced at him and asked without much emotion on her voice, something unusual. –Hmmm, you? What are you doing here?-
As Haruko left, K-4 kept munching on the chocolate, drowned in an ecstasy he never knew existed. The Young Clone didn’t understand much of what was happening around him, he was happy of meeting new people, even if it taken him to the realization, at least a glimpse, of his true nature. As he kept eating too happy to speak Crow walked towards him and crouched to be on the same line of sight. For a moment a hint of fear crossed his face when the Gunslinger moved his hand, but an inner instinct told him that everything was going to be okay, so he relaxed himself and allowed the hand to reach his shoulder. –My name is K-4 or Karasu. - He quickly answered Crow’s question - I think he took his teleportation ray. He used it on a nice lady and a nice guy who helped me back after I got lost and after finishing the helping the guy with the scars he used it on himself.- K-4 had the cutest expression as he tried to think, trying to remember any scraps of information as he chew down wolfishly more chocolate. Finally he remembered. – I think Kago-Jiisan said he was planning to visit a friend of his… a Doctor….Doctor…. Doctor Lazarus I think… yes, I think that was his name. - K-4 looked at Crow and asked a question. –I got to ask a question myself…. Do you have more of this? - He asked while displaying his chocolate stained fingers, evidence that he didn’t have more to eat.
Mrs. Shishioh gathered whatever dignity she had left and raised her head and her nose with a snobbish and arrogant expression. –I do not deal with tomboyish scum, you are not fit to ask me a question, come back when you learn some manners. - Even in this situation she needed to keep her high ‘n might attitude, trying to look down on others. Yet her plan had a weak spot as Mr. Shishioh advanced and with sadness beyond the humanely possible he revealed the content of the unit. –Inside this boxes are Gen’s organs, we were about to move them to the airport and take them to our eldest son Masayoshi, who is in a very bad state… But know… I don’t know what do…- Mr. Shishioh fell on his knees and sobbed. - I’ve killed one of my sons, no matter if he isn’t blood of mine… Just to save the other, not out of love, but out of greed… What kind of man that makes me?- Mrs. Shishioh, still cold tried to make him stand. –You’re a great man, a man who thought about the future of his company and the work of thousands. - But he shoved her away. –Don’t lie to me, don’t try to sugarcoat this… listening to you took us here… We could’ve searched for better care, now that we know magic is real… Why didn’t we? Why did we resort to kill Gen?- As he spoke Mr. Shishioh stood up and his chubby hands closed on her wife’s jacket as he shook her, glaring at her with infinite sorrow. -Why? - She asked with a hint of anger. –Because he told use there wasn’t another way… he told us we had to use Gen, that the scum you call son’s organs were the only thing that could save Masayoshi.- She exploded, losing her cool, but stopped talking and opened her eyes surprised, something her husband quickly mimicked. –"He" told us… who is he? - Mr. Shishioh asked with demented eyes to his wife. She was confused… as if something was wrong in her mind… her blank eyes and lost stare were a clear indicator of that… -Who told us that!?- Her husband shook her again and she finally replied while opening her eyes to their fullest. –Oboide told us… The butler… Kyotei Oboide…-
Meanwhile far outside Osaka, Kuro-san played with the Gainen Medal of Memory on his fingers as he looked out the black car carrying him. The best part of the job is when everything goes according to the plan.
Aoki Aoiminato crawled through the streets of Osaka, leaning against the walls as he puked and spitted his own blood. He was defeated, but he wouldn’t allow this defeat to be his end. He had come back from worse situations and always ended up on top, that’s how he survived, it wasn’t luck, as that particular gift was the trademark of his elder sister, but determination and persistence, no betting man wins if he chickens out at the last moment. He stood up as tall as he could and smiled, with the teeth he still had, as he clenched his fist and looked to the sky. –I’m not going to die tonight… I’ll survive and I’ll rebuild my empi- SWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOHS! A blast of wind knocked him flat on the ground as a blur moved past him. Aoki almost felt like the wind punched him… he caught his breath and looked at the direction the wind came from. The asphalt was torn asunder, a trail of destruction behind it, with cars knocked over. He heard the respiration of somebody behind him and turned around, just as the sound of something metallic bounced on the shattered tiles. It was the head of Testu, the FMY-3, the one who fought against Yuriko and Rin inside Aoki’s HQ. The head was still alive and seemed to be experiencing some kind of glitch, frantically moving the jaw without uttering a single word. Aoki looked up at the silhouette of the man who brought the head. Aoki shrieked in pain and started backing out crawling backwards with his hands and legs but a discharge of killing intent froze him in place. Anybody who was in touch with the Hidden World fighting Community knew about Reiji Fukuma and Aoki wasn’t the exception. The Master of 12 Styles looked at the God of Gambling and uttered a single question with an almost guttural voice. The golden Ki aura surrounding him didn’t seem to help to illuminate the area, it only made the shadows darker, as if it was sucking the light around Reiji. -Where is the lab?-

Dan was surprised to find himself in such a peaceful environment. He was expecting screaming. And punching. Especially the later. Aimed at him. As it was, he was a bit envious. He listened to her inner voices for a second. They didn't mean anything to him, but he envied her the comfort. He knelt in midair in front of her and waved a hand in the space between them. "Rin is hurt, and I don't know how to help." He explained as an image formed, showing Rin in tears. "You seemed to be her friend, so if anybody can comfort her, you can."
The image vanished, showing his mask slipping. He was near tears. Even here, where he had all the power, he couldn't control that. He tried to fix it in an uncaring, blank stare, but it was hopeless. "Please, I have no idea what to do! I see everybody hurt and all I feel is a hollow in my chest that gets filled with their tears!" The stream was quite suddenly dry, and an uncomfortable aura filled the air. Dan covered his tears with one arm and extended the other to Yuriko. "Please help. Take my hand and I can wake you up."

Not interrupting these two, Haruko observed the refrigeration unit, stopping when they begin speaking about who they got their information from. Kyotei Oboide, a butler? Who takes medical advice from a butler?! Glancing back up at Mr. Shishioh this time, Haruko spoke with a slightly less angry tone. "Your butler? Why would you believe your butler's diagnosis, and not get a doctor?" Sensing that there was more to this story, Haruko approached Mr. Shishioh, glancing over at the door from which they came out of initially. "Also...where's the rest of his body? These are only some of his organs."
Sid, by this point, was paying more attention to the situation than usual. Of course! It's always the butler! What's next, Gen turns out to be the son of the guy who chopped him up? Noticing that Rin was in pretty bad shape, Sid abandons his post and kneels down beside her. "Hey...it's going to be ok, alright? We'll kick that butler guy's ass for taking Gen from ya!" It was clear that he wasn't familiar with comforting people, but he couldn't just leave her like this while everyone was off doing important shit.

THE FINAL CHANCE AT REDEMPTION
Crow listened carefully to everything that Karasu was saying unfortunately it seemed that the man who performed the operation on Gen had fled not only the area but the entire city and maybe the country. The Gunslinger did take note of a name….Doctor Lazarus. The name did not ring a bell with Crow and that was troubling to him for someone who often dealt with the worst the Hidden World had to offer someone he didn’t recognize was off the grid for a reason. So just like Masako and many names before that Lazarus would be written on the board located in the Rail-gun garage. Another name, another clue, another figure lurking the shadows. It was Karasu who brought Crow back to earth when the young clone asked if the Gunslinger had more chocolate.
The bounty hunter smiled a little and ruffled the young kid’s hair, Karasu may have been a weapon created to combat Crow, a science experiment created from twisted minds, but he seemed more innocent than lethal. The Lightning Revolver take out another chunk of chocolate and broke small piece he was about to hand it to Karasu but changed his mind instead handing him the bigger piece. “Wait here for a moment I need to talk to my friends K-….I mean Karasu.” Crow glared at the Shishiohs he heard bits and pieces of their answers to Haruko’s questions. “You two aren’t going anywhere and neither are Gen’s organs. In order to save your legacy you sold your souls to the devil. Your efforts were built on a foundation of lies, blood, and crime. You will answer for your sins but right now is your one chance to redeem whatever is left of your souls. If Gen’s organs and body are still here we can save his life. Your elder son may still live but right now you have another son that you can save.”
The Gunslinger turned towards Haruko, “I’m going to try and find this Doctor Kago’s lab. There may be some more answers in there and something that can save Gen. Some of you can come with me but DON’T let those two leave.” Crow stood next to Karasu and offering the boy his hand, “Hey Karasu how about you take me to your gramps lab. I bet there is plently of cool stuff in there.” While finding help for Gen was important to the bounty hunter he also really wanted to see if Kago’s lab held any clues about who this Larazus was, where did the FMY come from, who funded all of this, what was the connection between Aoki and Kago, more insight into Masako, why exactly was Karasu created, and most importantly maybe Kago’s lab held answers to the Silence of the Storms. The Last Gunslinger came to Osaka to save Gen but he may have found a treasure cove of clues that he had been searching for.

-Geez… She can’t do anythin’ on her own can she?- Yuriko Kazegawa stood up and extended her hand to Dan’s. Hopefully both would return back to the real world. But what they would find when they woke up in the entrance to the University, were Yuriko was lying unconscious would be more akin to a post apocalyptic wasteland than anything else. The statue that survived the intense fights that happened around it was completely melted and there was a trail of molten, still hot, tiles in the ground, a path created by pure undiluted rage and blazing ki.
-I don’t know… I can’t remember when we hired him…. I don’t remember who he was…- Mr. Shishioh grabbed his head in pain. –I can’t remember his face… how I can’t remember his face? We just met him, he was here less than an hour ago…- He turned his confused chubby face to his wife. –Can’t you remember him?- He asked with despair on his eyes but she raised her nose in disgust and with an extremely arrogant tone, totally lacking common sense or attachment to reality she replied. –I don’t waste my time remembering anything about the help.-
Mr. Shishioh shook his head in frustration as he decided to stop focusing in what seemed a fool’s errand and shifted his attention to Haruko and Crow’s next concern. –He is…- He started aiming towards a nearby door. Karasu, who heard everything and was still a bit confused walked past the group interrogating the Shishiohs and moved towards a door, the same door from which they entered the main lab. He opened the door and shyly pointed inside, saying –Here/Here- At the same time as Mr. Shishioh did.
But before anybody could enter the location everybody capable of sensing Ki noticed a presence behind them. It was so overwhelmingly intense and big that it was something almost incomprehensible how they didn’t notice it until now, but as anybody versed on the secrets of Ki could notice the figure that just entered the lab was keeping his output controlled, packed in such density his whole body was hidden by a thick layer of golden Ki, making him seem like a statuesque human made of golden flames. The metallic things around him started to melt, not from run of the mill heat, but something else, much more dangerous. -WHERE IS GEN?-

Dan closed his fist around Yuriko's hand as soon as she placed it and let himself snap back to his body, which would forcefully jolt Yuriko awake as well. Dan bolted to his feet and staggered away from Yuriko, wiping his hand on his gi as his senses realigned to the real world. It had been years since he had last done that. He had forgotten just how much it could make his head spin. Was that heat another side effect? He took another step back and found his heel sinking into some scalding liquid. He howled and hopped away, falling against the wall by Yuriko. His eyes widened as they properly focused and saw the carnage.
Dan thought his eyes were still blurry from being in the dream until he realized that was just the heat simmer coming off the molten tiles, one of which he could see his heel print in. It was another moment before he could understand the implications. The melted material was all along a steady path that lead right where everybody else was. He flared up his aura and began to charge before remembering Yuriko... and the pain in his foot. He bit his tongue to stop the impending scream and hobbled back. Hopefully they could hold out a second longer.

Haruko folds her arms across her chest, curious as to how both Mr and Mrs Shishioh could forget their own butler's name. Just how long was he their butler for? It was clear that something more was going on than their current situation, and it had something to do with that butler. Following behind Mr. Shishioh and Karasu, Haruko begins to peer into the room...but stops dead in her tracks when she feels an overwhelming presence headed right for them. Sid had sensed the same thing, and dove out of the way in case whatever the heck was coming wasn't friendly. "Everyone, out of the way!" Haruko yells out right before Reiji storms into the room. The man's presence was absolutely massive, melting anything metallic around him with some kind of property to his aura.
Hearing him shout Gen's name, Haruko steps forward, pointing toward the room they were just about to enter, facing Reiji with the same professionalism she displays for her job. "His body's in there. The rest of Gen is in here." She points to the refrigeration unit full of his organs. She couldn't show any indication of being intimidated, as she didn't yet know this man's intentions, but it was clear he was furious. "Are you here to help him?" She asks. Meanwhile, Sid was leaning against the wall, wanting to stay the hell away from this dude. If this guy was going to start tearing this room apart, he wanted to be far enough away that he could get the hell away while the pink-haired chick would be getting clobbered. Normally he'd help against foes...but even his most powerful attack couldn't beat a dude with THIS kind of ki.

THE FURY OF A MASTER
Crow felt Reiji before he heard him and he felt him in two separate ways; he felt the massive signature ki signature as well as the overwhelming presence that the master generated. Crow turned to see the metallic objects all around them melting from this behemoth of power’s aura. The Last Gunslinger had heard rumors and stories of people so obscenely powerful their very presence and aura created a physical effect in the environment but seeing it in person is another thing. However what to Crow was most concerning was that this Blazing Volcano of Heat and Force was able to hide his presence from ALL of them for this long.
An instinct in the Gunslinger took over and he put his arm out pushing Karasu behind him as if he was protecting the child, to Crow’s shock it was Haruko standing next to him against this behemoth and it was she who spoke first. The Gunslinger gave the Battle Seamstress a glance making sure that for even a split second their eyes met, but a second was all he needed to convey the message. You better hope he is here to help. The Rail-gun know better than most when he was outclassed in a fight in all regards and in this case against this man all of them were. The heat was so profound Crow could now feel the fine hairs on his arms being singed off. Crow’s voice was calm but to a well train ear one could hear the uncertainty in his words. “Listen Partner what my friend said was true. Gen body is in there and his organs are in this refrigeration unit. If you are here to help then we are on the same side. We are Gen’s friends. We came here risking our lives, fighting the worst that came after us, and never hesitating for a moment. I’m Crow Cementerio and this is Haruko Miyata, we also got with us Rin Shishioh, Gen’s sister.”
The Gunslinger gave Haruko another look then glanced towards both Sid and Rin along with Raisa and Toramaru. He knew they were all beaten and wounded in various ways but he helped that at least in some way they were with him. This night had brought this rag tag group together and now at their finest moment everything would either be destroyed or salvage but his new arrival. Crow took a small step forward making sure Karasu was behind him. Despite Crow having some feelings against this child clone, the boy was still a Cementerio by “blood” and the Gunslinger wanted the boy to know what that meant. “However if you are here to hinder our goal then you are an enemy of Gen and that makes you our enemy. I don’t know about them but I’m willing to risk my life for that Hot Blooded Boxing Brat and I’ll be damned if I let anyone stop us. I made a promise and Gunslinger stands by his word no matter what.” That last part was more for Karasu then anyone else as this was what it meant to be a Cementerio.

-NO TIME FOR NICETIES. - Reiji, engulfed in golden flames took a couple of steps to the left reaching the wall and faster than anybody could see he punched the wall turning the metallic plates into puddles under him. –Everybody! Get inside the room and get ready to act as I instruct you if you want to save Gen!- He entered to the operating room through his makeshift entrance and without even searching for it he pushed his hand into the bin, that flared up in a golden blaze and clutched the medal. Finally noticing his collateral damage he reduce the heat produced by his raging Ki, but the aura was still there cloaking his body.
He turned his face towards them, some already followed his instruction and entered, Toramaru, who was grabbing his stump, Raisa who was helping him and the young Karasu who almost jumped at the order before. Reiji looked at Gen’s husk of a body, pale and flaccid over the stretcher, he looked at him with an indecipherable expression as the aura of Ki cloaked his face. Finally he turned his head once again and snapped an order to Gen’s father who was rolling the boxes in. –Leave the boxes outside, we won’t need them for this one!- And right after that he flinged the medal right to Toramaru who grabbed it with his only hand. If anybody else had picked it they would burn their hand.
-If you want to save my disciple I recommend you start pumping whatever fuel you have left into that Medal, I don’t care if you’re magical, use Ki or any other thing, just focus on the medal and let it feed on you.- His voice had a hint of frustration. –I would do it myself but as I’m right now I don’t fulfill the conditions for this technique.- Toramaru looked at him confused and Reiji replied to that look by clutching his hand into a fist, causing a small shockwave that pushed nearby tools and small chairs down. –Do it now!- The Half-Oni nodded, too amazed and scared to reply, as in all his life he never witnessed such raw power.
Toramaru started pouring whatever Natural Energy he had on him and he could spare, and the medal drank from it with desperation. Reiji had more than enough to fill the medal’s needs but as this medal contained <Battle> only energy of people who recently fought to their limits could feed it and Reiji didn’t have the time or the opponent nearby to fight to his utmost limits to power the medal. –When you’re ready pass it down to the next one! QUICKLY!- The Young Myth Soldier finished pouring his NE into the Medal and almost fainted, leaning against the wall behind him to support his weight.
Raisa grabbed the scalding medal and contained a whimper of pain. The Russian Prodigy didn’t only add Ki but also something else, something the medal considered a delicatessen. She did faint and was grabbed by Toramaru, who fell flat on his ass sliding down the wall thanks to the increased weight. He passed the medal to a rigid Karasu who without knowing Gen was compelled to follow orders, especially orders as powerful as Reiji’s. A brief flickering of the lights indicated that he started transferring energy into the medal that had started to beat, like a heart, furiously.
Karasu’s hair grew a bit darker, but he didn’t fully discharge himself and he extended the medal to the next one who would take it. Reiji who was pushing stuff around, making room around Gen added. –If you want to save Gen do as I tell you and then come with the Medal here after everybody collaborated… then we can start… we can bring my idiot student back to the land of the living.-
The JHWAB was on the move, the threats that kept them away vanished, as Aoiminato wasn’t on his HQ to keep them in function. Whatever was happening it was big and unluckily their lack of manpower was too divided with many cases, not to mention the interference of the Shishioh Zaibatsu with the Mundane Government putting pressure on the JHWAB. The agents hoped that they could arrive in time but the few reports they got only told them that the clean up job would be a bitch. Still they didn’t know half of it.

Dan was surprised by Yuriko's lack of reaction. No yelling at him for the painful awakening, or asking what exactly was wrong with Rin. He was relieved. Yelling made him uncomfortable. Well, if he got that... he covered his face. "I might as well tell you, since it doesn't make a difference now... Gen's dead. We failed." He managed a blank face long enough to hobble away from the wall and around the corner, looking for another way in. He had no idea where there was another door into the university. He glanced up and down the wall before facepalming.
His fist blew a few holes in the wall before his shoulder finished battering it. He glanced at the roof and decided it wasn't coming down. He limped back to where Yuriko lay. "We've got a way in."

SAVING GEN’S LIFE: THE FINAL PLAN
Crow was the next one to take the medal from Karasu, he did notice the young boy’s hair darken as he charged the medal with natural energy. The Gunslinger closed his fist around the medal containing the heat which didn’t bother the Crow that much. Similar to the lightning clone as Crow feed the medal his Lightning NE the lights flicker expect much more dramatically. As he charged the medal Crow focused on one thing saving Gen’s life, the Hot Blooded Brat created chaos everywhere he went and was often more trouble than he was worth. But he was Crow’s friend at this point the two may but heads but this somehow brought them a bit closer.
All the battles Crow had fought this night began to play over in his head from the restaurant were the Gen Rescue Squad had assembled to this very lab. The Full Metal Yakuza, Ikari Fukushi, Masako and the verbal confrontation with Gen and Rin’s parents. So much blood had been spilled, so many secrets began to unravel, and many more questions were raised. And while tonight’s battles were won there were many more to go in the future. Crow began to feed the medal quite a bit more natural energy than he had to spare as he looked around the room and while there were plenty of battles still to come he felt he had the allies he had tonight with him they are just might make it.
Crow finally let go of the medal which he wasn’t sure if it was him or not but he swore he could feel it beating and flick it with his thumb towards the next person to charge it. Soon after that Crow felt a bit weak and stumbled back against the wall near Karasu. He placed his hand on the kid’s head, which may allow the boy to recharge because of their connection and shared Natural Energy. “You did great charging that medal kid. I got a little more chocolate left if you want some.” Crow handed the Twin Lightning Clone the last bit of chocolate he had left. “Listen later we need to talk about what is going to happen with you afterwards. I know a few places for you to stay I have some friends who could take care of you.” Crow began to look along the walls of the Kago’s lab wondering if the doctor left any more clues about his whereabouts or his other projects in here.

Catching the medal after Crow, Haruko began to channel most of her remaining ki energy into it, not paying attention to the heat radiating out of it currently. The numerous battles she had been in that day began to flood back to her mind; Taka, Washi, Baku, FMY 1, and the numerous others she had a hand in defeating that day. Realizing just how long and difficult this day has been, Haruko resolved to take a vacation after all of this was over with. Stopping just before the medal began to take too much ki, Haruko tosses the medal over to Sid, the final one in the room. "Here, your turn!"
Groaning, Sid catches the medal and begins to follow suit. He had also faced many people that day; the people at the restaurant, Taka, Washi, Andy...that bastard, Ikari, and finally that FMY1 dude. He hated that he had to give up his energy like this, but he wasn't about to look like a dick in front of everyone. Once he was finished, the kickmaster tosses it back at Reiji. "Here dude, it's all charged or...something." He didn't exactly know how this was going to help a dead man. But this scary dude seemed to have a plan, so hey, it meant he didn't have to think of something.

As the medal flew through the room, spinning while radiating powerful light and a small beat-like shockwave a hand stopped it midway. Rin Shishioh, her face still covered in tears grabbed the Battle Medal on her hand, the sizzling sound of her flesh a testament of the heat it acquired through the absorption of energy from her fellow comrades. She made a painful scowl but she managed to keep the shout of agony inside her throat while her fingers clutched the medal ever more tightly. –I… I wouldn’t forgive myself if I don’t try to help Gen… At least somebody in the family must do it.- Rin started pouring her Ki into the Medal, petal like constructs of dazzling energy started swirling around her slowly being absorbed by a small vortex surging from the medal.
Rin started to waver, her knees almost buckling under her weight, as she transferred almost every ounce of her Ki into the Battle Medal. With a weak throw she sent it to Reiji, who caught it, mid-air and if he felt any discomfort about the medal state he didn’t voice it. Toramaru, Raisa and Rin waited filled with expectation as surely the rest of them shared those feelings. Reiji bowed to them in silence before he lifted his opened hand, the Charged Medal resting on his palm. The energy of all of them, their fights, their suffering, their determination accumulated in a single place, hyper charging the Gainen Medal to the brim. –You better take a step back... This might get…- Reiji turned his face around and added gravely. – Violent.-
-Huh?- Yuriko sounded surprised, she rudely tapped Dan’s shoulder and spoke. –Can’t ya hear that? Can’t ya hear the rumblin’?- She crouched and placed her hand over the ground, feeling the vibrations swelling from underground, flooding the concrete with their sheer force. Slow and steady the energy underground was building up and it invaded everything around the lab… even the water pipes. Yuriko’s keen hearing allowed her to notice the screws of a water main slowly loosening up and the boiling water inside building up pressure. Her eyes opened to their fullest as she realized what was about to happen.
-Get down!- She shouted while jumping towards Dan, set to tackle him out of the way of an ascending water geyser. If the Pink Comet hadn’t destroyed the ground he might have avoided weakening the floor enough for this to happen, but clearly he didn’t know about it.
The Master of 12 Styles took a deep breath, he was carrying so much energy that just by breathing the room seemed to expand and contract alongside his chest. The Medal of Battle was burning on his hand with a golden flame, much brighter than his own, the light creating sharp contrasts between the illuminated parts and the shadows, growing slimmer by the second. –I don’t know if this might work brat, but I’ll do my best.- He whispered inaudible to the others as the Medal was filling the room with some kind of gong-like sound. “In my punch I carry the blood, sweat and tears of your comrades in arms, I carry their glory and suffering, I hold their victories and defeats, the hits they dealt and the wounds they took.” Reiji closed his hand around the Medal “I have their will, their determination and their drive…. I have their will to fight… their will to live… I have their souls inside this fist brat”
-GRIT YOUR TEETH AND TAKE THEM ALL IN GEN! LIVE!!!!!-
Reiji lowered his fist right towards Gen chest and an explosion of light shook the entire lab and then the entire building. A blinding radiance too bright to withstand by human eyes, from it a flare of golden flames ascended piercing the ceiling and digging through stone, earth and concrete, piercing through the floors of the building until crashing through the ceiling, flooding everything in golden flames. The column of fire climbed upwards height ever increasing until reaching the clouds. The concentrated energy exploded a detonation so loud that shook the glasses of the entire city, so powerful the clouded sky opened up revealing the stars and the golden flames expanding everywhere.
The rooftops, streets, parks, bridges and buildings covered in glittering golden fire spreading like a shining wave over the city…. The whole city…. In the future these events would be hidden behind misdirection and cover ups by the JHWAB, the media calling it a failed terrorist attack with an experimental unknown weapon. But anybody who was in Osaka that night will always call this night the same way.
The night when Osaka was Ablaze….
The light and sound slowly subsided, returning to the source. Gen’s chest was closed up, only a large scare in the middle was visible. His body had returned to its original color and seemed to be full again. Reiji was still standing right next to the stretcher, still covered in Ki, when he noticed something. Gen was breathing again. The Old Master smiled warmly, hidden behind the mask of anger his Ki made around him, as the Spirit Boxer opened his red eyes and looked around, lifting his head and chest with some effort. He was clearly confused glancing at everybody in the room with the eyes of somebody who just woke up from a long sleep, almost too long. His confusion shifted into a minor frown as he aksed.
-What the fuck happened!?-

Dan shrugged away at the touch. "Don't do that." He rubbed his shoulder and cocked his head. His bare feet picked up the vibration before his ears could. He was guessing that was whatever melted the floor was doing this. He was going to punch that thing so hard. He was contemplating how they'd get into the lab when yelled for him to move, of course causing him to freeze. He gave her a wild-eyed look when he saw her lunge towards him from the corner of his eye. She easily knocked him flat just before the ground was split by water leaping into the sky. The rumble became everything in Dan's ears.
Of course, that was far from his biggest concern. Yuriko was atop him on the ground, something far more apparent than the water spilling back down upon him or the vibration of the ground. She was tiny compared to him but felt like a ton. "Okay, Yuriko, thank you, but please get off." He resisted the urge to shove her off. Lots of unwanted touching today. He startled when behind the gout of water, a grand column of flames erupted from the school. He scrambled back away from the university and covered his face.
When it all died down, there was nothing. The rumbling was there, but he didn't feel it. The fire was just an afterimage in his eyes. There was a sort of silence in the air now, and for a second he thought he could hear a heartbeat. He smiled and relaxed in the wet grass, letting his sore body finally rest. He so rarely looked up at the stars, and tonight he saw them through a whole different lens. The moon reflected light on a world filled with wonders he didn't know. He had just felt one of them and swore to find out what it was one day.
He managed to stand and began limping in the direction of the lab, expecting Yuriko to run ahead. "You go on ahead. I think your friend still wants you by her side. And Gen probably won't complain about it."

Noticing that Rin was nearly depleted as well, Haruko planned to assist her and the others who contributed a majority of their energy to the medal against the wall, out of the way of whatever was to come. However, before she could start helping them, the medal began to shine even brighter, Reiji's warning only making her fear the worst from this technique. "Everyone get down! Cover your eyes!" The battle seamstress shouts as she dives forward, not having enough time to try and help other people shield their eyes.
Reiji's blast encased the room in a bright, overwhelming light that seemed to rise infinitely, and who knows how wide the radius was. She buried her head into her black coat to shield her eyes from the blinding rays, thankfully her coat was black and could keep her vision darker better. Sid managed to hear Haruko's warning, and instantly does the same procedure with his own arm, though he stayed leaning against the wall. This light was nothing like anything he'd seen before, was this new guy some kind of paladin?!
After the intense rays had subsided, both Haruko and Sid peer over their arms, still seeing faint images of light dancing in their vision for a few seconds. "Gen? Is that y-" "Mind giving us a freaking warning next time you go all fist of God?! We could have been blinded!" The kickmaster yells over at Reiji. Shaking her head, Haruko looks at both Reiji and Gen, shocked to see he appeared to be nearly good as new! Almost better than his condition after their adventure in Romania. "Don't mind him. More importantly...Gen, what is the last thing you remember?" She asks, seeing if there was any information he could tell them about the people who kidnapped him. Sid, meanwhile, began strolling around the room, seeing the damage that last attack did to the place.
