Amazed that the FMY had managed to not only reduce her knives to a near stop, but also counter attack near instantaneously against Rin. How was he moving so fast, and what did he mean when he was saying '10 km > 1 cm' or vice versa? When he said that, his movements seemed to become instantaneous, and when he said the opposite, things seemed to slow down to a near stop. At that moment, a thought dawned on her; what if it's not messing with the speed of their attacks, but the distance between him and them? And since Dan seemed to be the only one affected by the slowdown before, his space bending must be based on direction! Frowning her face, Haruko finally comes up with a plan, provided her assumptions about this guy are correct. But suddenly...
"Wait a minut-" Before she could think about executing her plan, Dan decides to be The Incredible Hulk and smash the floor in. Wasting no time, the battle seamstress dives forward and, using ki to enhance her speed, pushes Rin hopefully out of the way of the crumbling section of floor. Having done that, Haruko watches as Dan and(hopefully) the FMY fall to the floor below. It appeared as if this could lead to a time to experiment.
Taking out ten explosive knives, Haruko tosses them in a circular formation where the FMY was about to land, be it through the crumbled section of floor or the location he'd dodge to. If her assumption is correct, if he chose to bend space above him, Dan would have an opening to come in from the side and attack the FMY when he's at normal speed. If he chose to slow Dan down, the knives would move at normal speed and explode around him. Hopefully either way, it will yield some more data as she nears the floor. This would of course be all for naught if he dodged Dan's attack.

"You son of a biiiiiiiiii-" With a thud, Sid collides with Crow and watches as the gunslinger launches a flurry of electrical attacks at Ikari. What's with this guy?! He was in a perfect position to hurt Sid badly, yet all he did was throw him? What the hell?! It was as if he didn't want these two to get hurt. Huh...not want these two to get hurt...
Grinning at Crow, Sid begins whispering at him. "I think this guy is just stalling us dude. What do we do? He's not hurting us at all!"

The scalpel moved with expert and sinister hand, the sound of flesh opening up, something to be expected was curiously absent. Kago looked at his instrument with anger, how could such a beautiful surgical implement be beaten by simple flesh. The Shishioh couple, who looked from above, through a reinforced glass shared a smile.
Mrs. Shishioh took the first word. –I don’t care what nonsense the garbage in the slab did with his life, but if his skin is so thick that’s a good sign, maybe his organs will be just as strong, perfect for Masayoshi, he will make our legacy last.- Mr.Shishioh, whose smile was a bit more forced that his wife’s just replied. –Yes dear, you’re right.-
The perfidious Doctor Kago checked his toolbox for something sharp enough to pierce through Gen’s reinforced skin. –Here you are, you beautiful thing.- He spoke as if he found a treasured pet, or even his own spawn, but what he got from the toolbox was a exquisitely carved claw of an Oriental Dragon, with a serrated side and a plain side. He tested the tip of the edge against Gen’s skin. A red line of blood dripped down from the Boxer’s exposed skin.
Kago was ready to start. He was so immersed on his job that he didn’t notice that in the pile of clothing he took from Gen the Medal on his lapel was pulsating and emitting a faint luminescence.
-I’m not hurting you because…- Ikari started talking and stopped halfway as his armored hand punched the floor rising dark purple flames around him, that pushed the “Strafing Flechas” upwards and away from him. He stood up with his eyes fixed on them and grabbed one of the Flechas with his gauntlet, breaking it between armored fingers. – You aren’t worth the effort kiddo…- He walked forward with the electrical sparks diffusing around his hand, his presence grew darker and more intimidating.
He popped his neck bones and glared at them, his eyes shining like black diamonds. –What do I gain killing a gunslinger orphan cub and a first year student of that Inazuma shithole? But don’t worry, I will hurt you, before the night is over Renen-kiddo you will wish you never met me.- His words were charged with such pressure a regular human would have fainted after that. It was like a black hole, an inescapable void forming around the man standing there.
-You want to find my weakness little orphan bird? You are allowed to try, but let me make something clear for you as well…- He smirked without a hint of real happiness more a mockery of a smile than a real one. –If you keep attacking losing your clan will be the second most painful experience in your live. - His eyes shined again, even brighter. –I guess I will hear you scream, surely like your grandfather did so many years ago.-
As any Gainen related empowered individual Ikari could draw powers from the medal relating to his own personal understanding of hatred, thus he could tap into the hatred of others and know their deepest sources of scorn and pain. He could attune to them and find their weak spots, as for Ikari hatred was exactly that, a weakspot. He might be filled with it to the brim, but he knew how to control and direct it to his advantage. The Discipline of Controlling one’s Emotions.
His armored gauntlet gathered energy and launched a stream of purple flames, that if connected would cause severe pain as it affected the nervous system pain receptors. Truly this wasn’t an attack aimed to damage them, but to split them up, as he shot in between them, so they couldn’t strategize. Keeping your enemies in a confused state was something basic when it came to tactics. And if there was something the Agent of Hatred knew was anti-Hidden World tactics.
FMY react to both attacks with a simple yet elegant tumble. -1km --> 1cm.- He jumped with a perfect somersault and activated his SWC (Spatial Warping Core) mid-air, using the momentum from his jump to move much more than its regular distance. He vanished mid-air, landing on the top of the statue, both feet on the head with perfect balance.
-Thank you Haruko.- Said Rin grateful, as the Battle Seamstress helped her out of the way (Even if she could have done it herself as he was playing possum), but before she could say anything FMY finally properly talked.
-Why do you keep fighting? I’ve proven my superiority over you without a doubt. - Even with the electronic distortion he sounded kind and weirdly human. –I do not desire to hurt you, I hope you understand that you will not be able to reach me. I just cannot understand why do you insist in fighting against me… it’s vexing…-
He performed another perfect somersault landing with his back against the statue and his hands on his jacket pockets. –Please stop right now or I will have to take some severe measures to stop you, and that I do not desire doing that-

FASTER THAN LIGHTNING
The Kicking Martial Artist revealed the key component to Crow who nearly face palmed at his own blindness. “Damn it! Of course he is trying to stall us, every moment we are wasting here means another minute Gen’s surgery proceeds.” As Crow spoke out loud he realized what else this meant, “Haruko and others, they probably facing a similar situation. At this point Gen parents don’t need to stop us they just need to slow us down.” However as much as Crow wanted to find a way past Ikari and move on from this fight the Agent of Hatred know exactly what to say to light Crow’s fuse. Hearing this make speak of his grandfather enraged Crow to the point where he was caught off guard when the Apex of Animosity’s stream of flames came towards him. Crow dodged by the skin of teeth however some of the flames licked at his arm spending a jolt of agonizing pain to his brain. There was no burn or scorch marks just the fading sensation of that horrible pain he felt. This man’s power was on another scale if a small graze of those flames made him went to scream in agony what would connected attack do to them. The Gunslinger was now several meters from Sid and further back from Ikari when he realized where he his position was. Not only was Ikari keeping them separate but he had managed to push them further away from their goal.
The Last Gunslinger wanted nothing more than to just firing every round into Ikari he could but he had to maintain his cool not only so he could formulate a plan to get pass him but to prevent himself from slipping into it that again. Crow voice was filled with venom as he spoke, “I suggest you keep your mouth shut about my grandfather. Or the next thing coming out of that smug mouth will be blood. However not that I know you are just stalling us, I don’t have to beat you I just have to be faster than you. So do you think you are faster than lightning?” Using his natural energy manipulation Crow charged himself with electricity and began to run and move all around the area disappearing and reappearing all over the place. However Crow wasn’t just moving faster than a normal eye could track he was creating Mirages all around Ikari, each one only lasting a few seconds at most so as one faded he made another one, and another after that faded. However unlike the previous Mirages these were slightly charged with his lightning NE. The Gunslinger was panting as his ears started their ringing again and his vision faded he was running low on energy and was now pushing his body further than ever.
The Rail-gun was going to make a Hail Mary pass to at least slow down Ikari hopefully keeping him confused until finally as the last Mirage faded Crow appeared just behind the Agent of Hatred sweating a bit and panting. “How fast are you going to be weighed down with ten tons of metal attracted towards you? Menos!” Crow reached out to grab Ikari his hand surging with electrical NE, if he made contact he would give Ikari a negative charge which would cause most metals in the area to fly towards the Agent of Hatred becoming stuck to him for a time possibly weighing him down. Crow had used this earlier on one of the FMY assassins it was trick he picked up after fighting a supposed Telsa Powell in Coyote Creek.

Dan's heart dropped as the floor gave way beneath him. It dropped further when the cyborg simply tumbled away. Dan scrabbled at the collapsing edge of the floor, wishing he still had the claws the avatar state granted him. He slid hopelessly, fingernails only harmed by contact with the concrete, finding no grip. He swung one hand, launching tiny balls of energy. With tiny eruptions, they carved out handholds and with a final lunge, he dug him fingers in and pulled himself free. As he stood, he was shuddering, twitching, and grinning.
He was having fun here. This was the most challenging fight he'd ever been in. He burned with his crackling pink aura, like an annihilating fire coating his entire form. It didn't work. So what? It gave him clarity. He heard the bot very clearly. He had said that a kilometer was a centimeter. Had he turned that off? He didn't say anything about it, just how awesome he was and how much he didn't want to hurt them. "You may not want to hurt us, but I'm afraid the sentiment doesn't go both ways!" Dan stepped to the side, making sure he was squarely in front of FMY 1. There was a sound like a great rushing of air as Dan's aura flew in to gather in his mouth.
With a thunderclap, it flew free in a beam. The voice of god normally only went about ten feet, not far enough to strike the cyborg even if he stood still. But if one kilometer still equaled a centimeter? Why, it would hit him like a crashing jet, all concentrated into about three squared inches of his chest.

Observing the FMY, Haruko looks at him oddly. Why was he complaining about having to fight them? The other FMY were delighted to try and kill them. What was going on with this one? Regardless, she addresses him. "I don't desire to hurt you either, but you are blocking our path to rescuing our friend. If you let us through, we can stop fighting." Perhaps this FMY was programmed differently than the rest of them, and could actually stop fighting his targets. It was a stretch, but was still a possibility. However, Haruko wasn't done yet.
Throwing three sets of knives in a triangle shape around herself, Haruko looks at the FMY. Unbeknownst to him, she had attached nearly invisible razor wires to the knives, which were now surrounding the seamstress. If her hunch is correct, and he rocketed toward her going a kilometer per centimeter, he'd be utterly ripped apart by the wires he'd crash into. Of course, this was barring that Dan's attack would work and instantly destroy him.
---
Raising his middle finger at Ikari, Sid backflips away from the poorly aimed blast and glares at Ikari. "Look here you little shit. Don't talk down to me, or my frie-" At that moment, Sid watches Crow speed around Ikari like some sort of fighter jet, creating multiple...mirages, and at the end trying to grab Ikari. "...well then. That's uh...one effective tactic dude." Seeing that Crow was distracting Ikari, there was one thing Sid could think of that'd make everyone's lives easier.
Pulling out a small dagger from his pocket, Sid stabs it at himself just below the chest. The pain he felt was incredible, but that was exactly what he wanted. Ripping the dagger out and putting it back, Sid reaches on his back and pulls out a long katana blade, glowing a brillinat shade of yellow and cracking with electrical energy. Remembering how Ikari said not to strategize, Sid keeps his mouth shut as he slashes it at Ikari's directing, sending a wave of concentrated electricity at him. As the wound in Sid's chest bled more, the stronger this blade would become. Hopefully if Crow's attack worked, this slash would arc across multiple pieces of metal and be more effective.

The Dragon Claw Scalpel started treading over Gen’s skin, leaving lines of shining scarlet blood. As he did that Dr. Kago started a machine with a switch near his right foot, a beam of dark green light shone from up above, a spotlight surrounding the patient. This was a Kago invention, the NNJ Ray (Nise no Jinsei / Fake Life) a device that keeps bodies alive and working, bombarding the cells with radiation that keeps them active even when the individual should be dead, perfect to get organs and keep them “fresh”.
The Sinister Surgeon hummed as he started opening Gen’s chest cavity, his chilled demeanor suddenly stopped as he found out the bones of the Spirit Boxer, surely even harder than his skin… this would take something with more firepower. He grabbed his toolbox and got a small buzz saw with a peculiar edged pattern that shone under the green light. He started cutting the ribs, this would take a bit more time than what originally thought, whatever Gen’s training was it turned his body into a fortress, capable of taking way stronger blows that what he could dish out.
From the observation platform the Shishioh Couple kept looking, well to be more precise Ms. Shishioh was looking intensely, while Mr. Shishioh didn’t seem as interested in the process as his wife, he was in the back of the room sitting with a grim expression. He was having second thoughts and doubts… why should they kill one of their sons to save the other… did they have the right to do it? Those questions spun around his head, while his wife kept looking, almost seeming to enjoy the situation.
Neither Haruko’s knives nor Dan’s God Shout reached FMY as soon as they thought they would, seemingly whatever power he used when he activated the SWC worked on bursts or at least directed to certain elements for an X period of time. The attacks moved at their regular speed and range, so FMY, possessing enhanced agility and reflexes didn’t make a lot of effort to dodge them, jumping to the side without much effort in another perfect display of acrobatics, accompanied by the robotical sound of his body while moving.
He landed and inquired further. –Your friend is trapped here?- FMY I looked at them with the first hint of emotion… sadness clearly seen on his eyes. –You people killed my friends… Even if I don’t desire to fight you I think I must, at least for them…- He took some steps forward, keeping the same expression, sadness for the loss of his comrades and sadness for having to fight. –I’ve known them since I was in High-School, we always worked together but now this is as sad as I can feel for them.-
The FMY I reached for his eyes but stopped halfway through. –Sorry, that was a reflex… my brain… or what’s left of it still doesn’t know that I cannot shed any tears. - He kept speaking with his soft voice. –Is the disadvantage of having eyes that aren’t mine… they allow me to see things, like the wires surrounding you. - He said to Haruko, revealing that his power set also included enhanced vision. –But the pros don’t overcome the cons.- He took two more steps and finally decided to move, throwing a jab. Once again the digital voice took over -100 km --> 1mm-
He launched a punch much faster than before directed to Dan’s chin, a knockout blow if you will. As he started moving Rin, who had been slowly pacing around, charged from the side with her sword covered in Ki, hoping to catch the FMY mid-attack.
-Hmf, not enough energy orphan? - When Crow touched him he felt the charge coursing through his body, he knew that Crow would surely feel something way worse from grabbing him, so he smiled. That didn’t last. Ikari thought that the Gunslinger’s offensive was just a discharge without enough juice, as if Cementerio was too tired to give a proper shock, he didn’t knew about the magnetic technique, as most of his files might by in need of an updating. What he didn’t expect as well was Sid’s attack.
Ikari lifted both of his arms, covered in gauntlets, in a cross-guard, protecting himself from the electrical slash that was followed by metallic objects all around the campus grounds. His gauntlets took the slashing force of the weapon but not the blunt force, breaking like glass and pushing him against a wall. The line of the slash was clearly noticeable as a elongated bruise covering segments of his forearms and shoulders, while more objects fell to the magnetic trap and pinned Ikari against the wall, as he was also being attracted to the steel structure of the building.
-This isn't ov- He tried to shout but he was buried under the wreckage before he could finish

Dan grumbled as his attack fizzled out. Okay, he'd just have to have better timing. "I'm sorry about your friends. We- I at least- never meant to kill them. But I'm not letting you kill me or them! If you want to fight, I can't even say I don't want to! BRING IT ON!" His aura erupted out to defend himself as he roared the last, making sure he would stay standing after the next round.
It was just in time, as the fist plowing into his chin would have knocked him flat otherwise. Even slowed down by his aura, the blow made stars dance in his eyes. But he didn't stumble back or wait for his vision to clear. He was best at very close range, and this with a kilometer being a millimeter, this was just that. In rapid succession, muscles swift from endless repetition, he launched his elbow to smash across FMY 1's ribs, caught his fist with his other hand and used that arm's power to increase the force of his next elbow thrust aimed at the cyborg's throat, then twisted his hip greatly to increase the torque as he aimed to mash whatever guts his foe had.
It was only after he launched this series of attacks that he allowed himself to feel again. His entire head hurt, rooted in his chin but waving all over. He couldn't tell if his jaw was broken, or if he was even standing anymore. He thought he was kneeling now, but with his vision gone and his head ringing, he couldn't really tell. He decided to just groan and put his hands over his head until everything stopped hurting.

PRESS FORWARD TO GEN!
Even though Crow only needed to make contact with Ikari for a few brief seconds the pain from the flames of rage felt like it lasted a thousand years plus some. He felt like every nerve in his hand was being set ablaze as the aura temporary coated his hand. “AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH FUUUUUCCCCKKKKK!” The pain was so intense Crow didn’t even realize that Sid made a move of his own let alone that his own attack was successfully. Once the pain subsided Crow was panting with a cold sweat despite his hand not showing any visible signs of damage dark purple smoke came off his hand which was visibly trembling. The Gunslinger was down on a knee when he came to his senses and gaze over at Sid noticing his wound. Crow got up slowly and on weak legs his eyes went to the sword in Sid’s hand, “Hmm it seems this whole time you were holding something back. But judging from that wound on your chest I think it one of the secrets that best left as a secret.” The Rail-gun then looked over at the pile of metal that was now burying Ikari.
“We need to move now Sid. I don’t know how long that metal pile can hold that man down and I’m running low on energy. He is unlike anyone I ever fought before and to be honest I don’t want to fight someone like him ever again.” Crow looked away from the pile of metal, “Come on we need to move ahead and go help the others. If they are facing someone like we just did then they are in trouble. There is no time to waste every minute we are out here is another minute Gen is in surgery.” Crow went to run towards the next area but stopped in mid move as his body recoiled with pain his ears ringing yet again and black spots appearing in his vision. Pain and exhaustion were beginning to catch up with Crow he nearly passed out but there was no time for weakness right now. He began moving again despite his body protest at this point determination pushing him forward hoping the metal prison would trap Ikari long enough for them to get far away.

Haruko couldn't help but feel a bit of sadness at the FMY's speech about his friends, as she didn't know these robots even felt those emotions. It appears this one may be a unique case, and perhaps can be reasoned with. As he finished talking, Haruko looks him directly in the eye. "I'm sorry for your loss, but they were the ones who attacked us first. All we want is our friend back, I have no desire to kill any of you. You seem to be a reasonable person, so if you just let us through, we can end all of this and get on with our lives." It appeared the FMY was already attacking Dan as she spoke. Great. What were they supposed to do...
And at that moment, Haruko had another idea. Using her ki, Haruko tosses 8 knives in a rectangle formation around the courtyard, one in each corner, and one in the middle of each corner. Each knife lay harmlessly on the ground, but that wasn't the extent of her plan. If the FMY ever activated his ability in front of any of these 8 knives, she'd quickly infuse it with ki and rocket it forward. If his ability affected everything in front of him, then with a slight movement of her knife, it'd rocket toward him and explode with a much larger impact than before. The knives weren't attached to any wires, so they wouldn't look out of the ordinary just laying on the ground.
---
Panting at the energy expended from his attack, Sid couldn't help but grin at Ikari being buried by the metal. "That's right you son of a bitch! Rot in there!" Wincing from the wound he inflicted upon himself, Sid sheaths his sword to conserve energy. Chuckling slightly at Crow's words, Sid looks at the gunslinger. "Nah...it's alright dude. This thing is useful when I am getting my ass handed to me. Let's finish this shit already..." Sid hated having to work this much, but wasn't going to give up now. It looked as if the hot pink-haired chick and the overly muscular dude were fighting the some other dude. Perfect. "So...cowboy dude. Do you have any more of those berries? It looks like you need one."

A memory… a scent… a sound… a view… a feeling… or better put a hunch. The bitter after taste of Ozone on his mouth, the rumbling of the thunder after the dazzling lighting, he remembered… sunken in the depths of his now instinct-driven memory. Images flashed behind his red eyes… A prison cell… an island… a submarine and in every turn his mind slowly recognized the sensorial inputs he was currently receiving… he encountered them before… before the change… before the Benkeinium tried to take hold of his body.
A sharp pain hit his head as the memories hidden inside the Living Metal flooded his brain. -1 year ago- - I won’t die! You hear me! - Masako shouted, as it was the only thing he could do. His Shingetsu armor was in pieces; destroyed by expert ricochet shots and he struggle in vain as silver goo started to swallow him. –I will find you! I wIlL fInD yOu!!!!!- His hands were the last thing to be immersed into the mass of Benkenium, full of electrical burns, for trying to block a powerful lighting charged bullet with his bare hands and TK.
Crow Cementerio was standing ten meters away and with a severe gesture, as rain dripped over him, he summoned a bolt of lightning that pierced deep into the Benkenium oozing out the Amaterasu, an old Submarine of the Japanese Imperial Navy from WWII. Crow’s face showed determination, but a hint of remorse as he surely was damning Masako to a fate almost worse than Death. The charged Benkeinium started to harden, forming the outer layer of the cocoon Kago released Masako from.
As Crow left the Benkeinium was still active and saw how the Lighting Gunslinger talked to a man in black clothes and then collapsed… -Present- Masako’s eyes bulged out of their sockets, bloodshot and focused on one single individual. Kuro-san might have trapped him inside Shingetsu and used him as a weapon. But Crow trapped him inside a cocoon of molten metal for a full year. The primal instincts guiding his hand only ask for one simple thing… revenge… if something hits you you hit it back harder and you destroy it to avoid losing again.
A roar, completely inhuman, with a metallic undertone behind it, shattered the nearby windows as Masako jumped to intercept Crow shouting only one thing as his legs shifted into forms better suited for landing such jump and his arms changed to a blade whip and an axe. -cEmEnTeRiO!!!!!!!!!!-
Dan’s attacks didn’t reach FMY, he didn’t notice, even after his shout didn’t reach the Mechanical Yakuza who stood idly watching the Pink Comet attack the thin air in front of him. Clearly he didn’t realize that his previous attack, the Voice of God, didn’t benefit from the spatial warping of the FMY. Haruko’s knives also didn’t accomplish anything, as when he used his powers again, rising his hand to slow down Rin’s slash the knives wouldn’t benefit from the same speed boost he had, as he could select which elements on his field of view were altered and which weren’t apart from his own body.
-My friends did their job, most of them lost their sanity and their wills when they got turned into this.- He looked sadly as his own body. –I was the only one who kept his mind intact, as it was needed to operate the SWC…- The FMY, Ichi, glanced at the slow moving Rin with a mix of sorrow and pity. –I know she is the sister of the kid you came to rescue, but I can’t avoid fighting you… I worked for Aoki to protect my friends… without them I’m empty and my only desire is to kill those responsible.-
His expression changed and started pummeling Rin at great speed, almost 400 punches could be seen closing in on Rin, but as he was too busy doing that a red blur happen to crash against him. It didn’t damage Ichi, but it managed to get his attention, stopping his attack. Yuriko Kazegawa had shoulder slammed against him, as seemingly whatever Dan did to her still had her arms a bit numb. This was the first time Ichi was reached in the whole fight… because he didn’t see Yuriko coming.
Still she didn’t had a chance and in the blink of an eye she crashed against the base of the statue behind him and Rin was pummeled to the ground, in which she rolled, getting dangerously close to the nearby canal before she stopped. For the first time since the beginning of the battle Ichi showed emotions apart from sadness. Fury and confusion were clearly reflected on his eyes as he walked towards Dan and Haruko, ready to destroy them.
-Okay, we got the liver and the kidneys… we only need two or three more things and we will be done here. - The Sinister Kago informed the Shishioh couple through an intercom. But he was surprised to hear Mrs. Shishioh’s answer. Even for his standars it was cruel.
-Empty him, we don’t know when Masayoshi could need spares of his other organs, we don’t know how well the medication is working.- She spoke coldly, as if she didn’t consider her own flesh and blood, down there bleeding , alive thanks to the dark miracles of science, like a living being.
-That’s the only thing he is good for… dying for the family… such honorable death.- She spewed the words like poison sarcasm clear in her tone. Mr. Shishioh stopped reading his magazine and looked at her with fear. He hoped she never thought of him like that.
“And this is my cue to leave” thought Andy as he saw Ikari being crushed by the metal after receiving Sid’s attack. The Bonham heir decided to stay and watch, maybe he would have to deal with Sid in the future and knowing more about him and his fighting style could be the difference between life and dead. He was satisfied with what he saw, at least he knew that Side could pull off ranged attacks and that Intel was invaluable. Still he was surprised that the cool old guy was defeated so easily.
He stretched lazily as he walked towards the staircase that will take him down the rooftop and yawned before saying. –Damn… I really need a smoke. - The moment he said that his trained ears heard the sound of something flying towards him. His reflexes forced him to turn around and face it, only to grab a package of cigarettes that was thrown to him… but nobody was around. Andy started looking around with anxiety in his eyes until he noticed something… not matter how he moved his shadow remained still.
He jumped backwards and the shadow stayed, anchored to the rooftop. The Bonham heir pulled his gun, ready to shoot whatever monster could be lurking there, but he quickly realized he was mistaken. The shadow slowly rose, taking the shape of a man. Ikari Fukushi was standing there, without a single wound on his body. –Kiddo, our employer wants to thank you for your cooperation, go back to your house and check your account; you’ll see the money plus an extra.-
Andy was speechless, trying to utter a full question but after struggling only managed to say –How?- Ikari looked at him with a strange half smile, as if he just did something very enjoyable and replied. –Trade secret kiddo… trade secret…- And then vanished into the shadow again, leaving Andy Bonham confused in the Osaka Rooftop he was.

Dan's head still spun as he drug himself to his feet. By the lack of scattered cyborg parts in sight and the lack of pain in his limbs, he hadn't touched him. But Yuriko had. Attacking him from the flanks. Of course. "That was my FIRST idea!" He roared. Energy balls erupted to life in both hands. This was the moment where he should feel a rush of excitement at the discovery, but there was only rage.
He raised his hands and lobbed both balls like grenades, knowing they would quickly shrink once they left his hands. It didn't matter. He was close enough that they'd still so some damage, although that wasn't their main function. They were aimed to explode on both sides of FMY to batter him and throw up dust. When they went up, he dashed into the dust cloud, using the cover to circle around his opponent. He moved in to smash his knee into his side, hopefully damaging whatever was in him that let him pull off his spacial manipulation.

A NEW CHALLENGER ARRIVES: CROW’S LONE STAND
The Gunslinger would think that after trapping one of the deadliest foes yet he would have a break for the rest of the night and there would be no more problems. He would think that however that was not his luck. The blood curdling, window shattering, fear inducing screams of his names should have left him shaking in his cowboy boots but not now and not tonight. Landing in front of Crow was an enemy of unknown origin. The newest challenger had form of an insect or at least silver insect like armor with a bladed whip and axe for each arm individually, the Rail-gun sighed to himself and stood up holding his ground. “You know for once I would love to walk down a street without some new psycho wanting to test his luck and kill me. But if it wasn’t for all those psychos coming at me I wouldn’t be the man I am today. I beaten everybody who stood in my way and continued on my path! I am the bullet of my gun imprinting my will upon the world around me! So I don’t know neither do I care who you are but if you think you will stop me tonight then I got some advice for you! Think about every single person before you on this very night who has tried to stop me and think about how I’m the ONE….still standing.”
Crow’s eyes held the wrath of a thousand storms bottled up the air began to crackle and hiss with static electricity, “Sid I want you to go on ahead of me. Go on ahead to the others run as fast as your legs can take you and don’t look back. This is my fight not yours. Take these with you.” The Gunslinger toss Sid the bag of berries he was saving to replenish some health. “Once you are reunited with the others each of you it one. Their rich in Natural Energy and give you a small boost and heal you guys up some. Their very tart but you get you to the taste. I’ll create the opening you just run partner. As Gunslingers say; be swifter than the wind and faster than the bullet.” Crow kept one of the berries for himself and quickly ate it lightly the Natural Energy enriched fruit refresh him a bit he gave a final nod to Sid before he simply said. “Overcharge.”
A small shockwave of static electricity burst out from Crow as arcs of yellow-orange electricity peeled form his body his eyes glowed slightly even his gun, Quicksilver, was charged with Natural Energy now. The Rail-gun wasted no time in going after the no coming disappearing a burst of static charge and reappearing inches from the insect-humanoid like monster. “Overcharge: Talon!” Crow swung Quicksilver with all his might at the new challenger releasing a super charged wave of electrical natural energy with enough power to do some damage and even cause the power in the area to flicker a bit. The Gunslinger was trying to create as big an opportunity for Sid to get the hell out of dodge as he could and he was determined to hold off this monster while the others rescue Gen even if it cost him his life.

Listening to the FMY explain himself once more, Haruko only felt more pity for him. Out of all the insane FMY, he was the only one who kept his sanity. Normally she would try to reason with him, try to sway the FMY to somehow rebel against Aoki and start a new life for himself, but time was running out and they were running out of options. Closing her eyes slightly, Haruko focuses her ki energy upon the rectangle of knives that she had placed, and takes control over the left and back rows. With a small sigh, Haruko opens her eyes and focuses her ki energy into knife levitation, which she sends towards the FMY's back and the side that Dan wasn't attacking on. There were around 6 knives in total, all of the having an explosive charge inside of them. Hopefully with the combination of Dan's grenades and her knives, this FMY would be put out of his misery for good.
As she attacked, Haruko couldn't help but remember feeling an especially vile and unique ki signature when she had her eyes closed, as if whatever she was sensing wasn't even human. While she didn't focus too much on it, Haruko did gather that it was right next to them, where Sid and Crow were fighting Ikari. Though oddly enough...she didn't sense Ikari's signature anymore. Who was this new challenger?
---
Audibly groaning at the window-shattering roar coming from the approaching Masako, Sid quickly pockets one of the berries Crow gave him and keeps the rest inside of the bag. Turning his head towards the fight with the FMY, then back at Crow, Sid simply nods his head. "Right...good luck with this guy dude. Just hold on until you get help, I'll be back in a bit!" And with that, Sid takes the opening Crow gave for him and rockets towards the area where everyone else was fighting. It appeared as if lots of stuff was coming at the enemy, so a surprise kick to the face would't be wise. So instead, he decides to do the next best thing; distract.
Leaping up above the group, Sid points his right boot down at the ground below as he fell towards the FMY...
...and attempts to bounce off the FMY's head, as if he were a goomba and Sid was Mario. This tactic wasn't really meant to do anything besides prevent the FMY from jumping up out of the way, and use the element of surprise he had. After his jump, Sid would land on the ground a few feet away and turn back to face the FMY, hopefully seeing Dan and Haruko's attacks connect.

Rin, bloodied and bruised by the FMY’s barrage, charged from behind as Dan’s attack flew towards the Cybernetic Warrior. Ichi raised each hand, as he stood parallel to both attacks. He managed to stop the youngest Shishioh last hurrah, but was unable to slow down the sphere as he had to focus his dwindling forces on Rin who was flung backward spitting blood by a well placed kick that broke two of her ribs. –I didn’t want to do this!- Ichi shouted inside the dust cloud.
But he was out of time and out of options, as Dan clever ruse worked perfectly connecting a devastating knee smash that was rewarded with the sound of mechanical parts breaking. The metallic exoskeleton piercing what little organic tissue remained inside what once was Ichi’s rib cage. The FMY would have cried in pain if he had any feeling of pain, but that, as many things was surgically removed by Kago, still the bended metal parts slowed his reaction time and as the dust was clearing it helped a lot.
Ichi turned to face the incoming knives as he madly shouted. –I just wanted to protect my friends!- But his attempt was stopped when Sid stomped his head, breaking any kind of concentration he could muster in this time of distress. He tried to mutter -1 Km to…- but the explosive knives pierced deep into his already cracked hull and exploded inside him. The pieces scattered, but as the SWC exploded it released it last energies, leaving the pieces floating in slow motion, as the explosion could be seen propagating like flower made of fire.
Crow’s attack seemed to be effective, at first. The Overcharged Quicksilver splashed through the hastily made Axe-arm, breaking it into Mercury-like droplets. For a fleeting moment it seemed that the Lighting Gunslinger might have the upper hand, but the spheres of metal vibrated and bulged, creating strands that connected them, creating a web-like structure that moved to circle Crow from the left. –yOu lEfT mE fOr dEaD!- Masako shouted, his voice completely inhuman as he raised his free arm that morphed once again.
This time around it seems like an organic drill that the Alpha Predator used to launch a powerful stab towards Crow’s chest while shouting. –yOu tRiEd tO kILl mE iN tOrAsHiMa!!!- As he was falling from a very long jump he added a lot of momentum to his attack, trying to stop Crow from escaping with the net and piercing him through with the Drill aided by the crash against the floor, which was getting closer by the second. As he pushed with all his might, his left arm bulging with the added mass he roared once again. –nOw I’Ll cOnSuMe yOU!!!!-
If Crow fought against Masako in Torashima that last phrase would bring back memories of that stormy night to the Gunslinger.
-Well we only need a couple more things and I can start plugging them into your other son.- Kago used the communicator to tell Gen’s parents about the operation. The Hot-Blooded Boxer was still lying down, motionless and with many of his organs removed, only his lungs and his heart still in place. He was only kept alive by the Nise no Jinsei device, that kept Gen’s body “alive” even with the lack of organs.

Dan's grin bordered on psychotic as he finally landed a hit. He was rewarded with the bending of metal beneath Ichi's skin before he lunged backwards to let Haruko's knives do their work. His grin vanished as FMY 1 vanished in flame. The allure of the slowed explosion was not lost on him, but it was a somber sort of beauty. His knees failed him, dropping to the ground. He covered his face to protect it from the heat of the explosion, but it also shielded the tears running down his face. It did nothing to block the noise of him crying. Four deaths. He had helped kill four people today. Even when a thug in China, he had managed to avoid it, since he had never faced anybody who could really hurt him. He felt sick again.
He pushed himself to his feet, still covering his face with one arm, and stepped away from the death he had just allowed. Forgetting all else for a moment, he leaned his head on one of the walls of the building. In a moment he'd be ready to go after Gen. Just... not now.

CROW VERSUS MASAKO: GUNSLINGER VERSUS PREDATOR
As the Apex Predator mentioned Torashima, Crow’s mind began to fill with memories that were once forgotten they return like a ghost returning to its former place of residence. The memories were vivid he could almost feel the rain of that fateful night on his skin. This was enough of a distraction that Crow could barely react to the metal drill coming right for him. The Last Gunslinger went to take a step back but notice the organic metal net out of the corner of his hawk like eyes. Crow slightly remembered watching Boxing matches with his Gramps when the old man was teaching him hand to hand combat. In one of these matches Crow remembered an instance light-weight had pushed his larger opponent back continuously till the man hit the ropes and bounce slightly forward to receive a knock-out punch to the jaw. Buho had called it the Mouse Trap Punch. The Rail-gun was now caught in an even more lethal version of the Mouse Trap Punch, he had nowhere to go but forward into a high powered drill. Another memory came to him, this one was of Buho’s words of wisdom to counter the Mouse Trap Punch, and the solution was so simple that it simplicity was profound enough to allude many fighters. Listen up Crow, the sure way to beat that Mouse Trap is to push through the punch and come out the other side. You understand you whipper-snapper, you are going to take that punch no matter what. But if you got the grit to take it and push through to the other side then the other guy is against the ropes and you are the one throwing bombs. Crow smirked in present time, he understood the Old Man perfectly fine he had to push through.
Crow gritted his teeth and mentally braced himself for the incoming pain, however instead of taking the drill through the chest he brought his hands up with the Overcharged Quicksilver to parry the drill just a bit. The metal that made up most of the revolver was indestructible and could handle the drill. Crow pushed upward and towards the side creating sparks that flew in all directions. Crow took a big step towards Masako and cried out in pain as the drill tore into his left shoulder sending blood in all directions covering Crow and Masako. The wound was deep and rendered his left arm pretty much useless for the foreseeable future let alone this fight. However despite the agony Crow pushed forward another step, “Overcharge: Descarga!” The Gunslinger unleashed an aura of electrical Natural Energy in all directions around him. He intended to shock Masako long enough that he could get past him. Crow used the super charge speed of his Overcharge to move behind the Alpha Predator, the Gunslinger ripped his bloody jacket off and tossed it into Masako field of vision as a final distraction sacrificing it to the high powered drill.
Once on the other side Crow was panting a bit as blood ran down his arm he held a scrap of his jacket in his mouth. Using his good arm and mouth to quickly tie the wound hoping to stop the bleeding, his left arm hung down as a deep gash was gauged out of the shoulder and side of it. The memories of Torashima had returned to him, yet there was still some pieces missing but he remembered enough. He remembered being on the island, he remembered the Submarine, he remembered the storm that had come in, he remembered his fight with Masako but most important he remembered the horrifying living metal that had swarmed the island. The Rail-gun stared intently at the Predator, not noticing the color fading in and out of his vision or the ringing in his ears, his eyes focused on the metal covered Masako. “I remember you. I see burying you in the Benkenium only made you stronger. I don’t know how you got out of that or how you even got here but I guess none of that matters. You are right I left you for dead back then because you were less of a man and more of a mad beast with rabies. I see that while you changed physically mentally you are still that Beast. So bear your fangs at me beast and I will put you out of this misery.” With the speed of the wind Crow drew and fire Quicksilver, the bullets were no ordinary rounds he had fire 3 shots of Lighting Draw, a smaller weaker version of Rail-Gun, Crow also didn’t remain stationary for long he began to move at high speed around the area attempting to avoid any attack Masako threw his way. However the pain and blood lost slowed him enough that he could be kept up with and his vision was fading a bit something he chalked up to the blood lost. The Gunslinger reckon the only way that this man could be here in front of him was because of the resources the Shishioh family provided, the lengths they would go to ensure Gen’s unwilling sacrifice and to preserve their legacy was not only sickening he could feel the anger bubble in his chest.

Turning away from the explosion, Haruko levitates the rest of her knives back into her coat, trying to avoid looking at the dying Ichi. Even though she has helped kill people in self defense before, they were all trying to kill her on their own free will. Ichi seemed to only want to protect his friends, and couldn't disobey the orders of his masters. So in the end...he had to die for their experimentation. While not showing it to the group, Haruko was choking back a few tears from forming in her eyes. Now wasn't the time to mourn a loss, they needed to move on. Wiping her face, Haruko slowly walks over to Rin, a determined look in her eyes.
"Looks like he's gone. Let's go, before more people show up. Follow me!" Sensing ki signatures coming from the basement, Haruko begins to dash into the building, looking around in an attempt to find a set of stairs. Meanwhile, Sid had already taken the initiative to dash inside and was happily riding the stairway railing down to the basement, enjoying how they were finally indoors. If he happened to find someone now, there was much less room for them to dodge out of the way of his kicks. Hang in there you little prick...I'll save you myself!

The sparks of the drill hitting Quicksilver filled the air. -cEmEnTeRiO!!!!!!!!- Masako roared as his drill pierced through Crow’s shoulder. It was only a superficial wound, but the Alpha Predator at least got something out of it… The Gunslinger’s flesh and blood, perfect for the Ever Adapting Monster to attain a new level of evolution. As Crow used “Descarga” trying to get Masako off balance the Alpha Predator utterly ignored him, as his body reacted automatically to it, releasing a small sphere of Benkeinium in-between the incoming electricity and him, while he was busy absorbing the blood into himself.
The sphere he launched shot strands to the ground and absorbed the attack, grounding it to the earth under them, while the blood splatters over Masako’s body slowly got sucked into his body. Without even looking at it the Alpha Predator used his drill offhandedly to shred Crow’s jacket while he kept incorporating the Gunslinger’s blood into himself, it wasn’t much, and the flesh he took was minimal, but it would suffice to help him destroy the man who forced him to sleep for a whole year, losing so, so many delicious meals. Masako’s reconfiguration gave Crow time to tend to the wound on his shoulder.
Crow started insulting Masako who slowly turned around to face the Gunslinger with a crooked smile as his nose twitched. He whispered, too faintly to be heard. –sO tHaT’s hOw lIgThInG sMeLlS…- as the Lighting Gunslinger kept talking, clearly not paying a lot of attention, not even when Crow shot him with a trio of Lighting Rounds, that ineffectively hit Masako’s skin, almost as if all the power behind them was drained before impact. The Alpha Predator slanted his head to an unnatural point touching his shoulder with his ear without moving it and opened his eyes to his full extension.
-i oNlY hAvE, oNe wOrD tO tElL yOu... cEmEnTeRiO…- The sphere that absorbed the Descarga was still floating besides Masako, with two cables going underground. As Masako spoke the cables started moving, piercing under the Alpha Predator legs and connecting to him, releasing the absorbed energy into Masako. Seemingly he used Crow’s blood as template, as it was regularly exposed to Natural Energy and replicated it inside of him, allowing him to emulate Natural Energy Manipulation. Charged with the electricity from the Descarga and the Lighting Rounds and with deliberate slowness he said one word as he raised his neck back to its proper position…
-oooooooVeeeeRcHaaaaaRRRRgEEEEEEEEE!!!!!-
Red Lighting crackled around Masako surging from his eyes as his arms and legs slowly turned into spiraled limbs, he had turned his whole body into a Tesla Coil to further enhance the electrical powers he was stealing for a short period of time. The electricity surged around him in arcs as he rushed towards Crow, lowering his strength to the lowest and his durability to a mid tier while increasing his speed to the maximum, aided by the stolen lighting. Still the thunder, weirdly preceding it, came from him, as he easily broke the speed of sound charging against Crow.
The ground torn asunder with each of his cataclysmic steps Masako roared wildly, both hands turned into blades, as he planned to skewer the weakened Crow moving at a such speed, that the impact would possibly be more deadly than the blades themselves… If the Gunslinger was as weakened as he seemed this might be the end of Crow… unless…
Rin followed Haruko and Sid, still a bit hurt from the fight she lagged behind but as she started entering the building she couldn’t avoid smiling as she saw Yuriko near Dan. The Youngest Shishioh entered the building, limping with pain clear on her face with each step she took. As she got to the stairs her friend was already besides the Pink Comet.
Yuriko kicked Dan on the side, not to hurt him, but to get his attention. The Fist Mistress was pretty banged up herself, but she still stood strong and she glared at Dan, with every justification to be pissed. –Fuck no! Ya ain’t fuckin’ takin’ a nap here Pink fucker!- She grabbed his Gi and lifted him up to get him standing, quite a feat considering she was hurt.
-Are ya fuckin’ cryin’? What the fuck for!?- She slammed him against the wall, not to damage him, but to get him back to reality. –Ya fuckin’ knocked me out ya fuckin’ prick and now my best friend is hurt, much more than she was before.- Her face was a mask of sadness, pain and anger. –I couldn’t do shit to help her thanks to you Pink fucker!-
-So get yer fuckin’ shit together and start helpin’ my friend so she doesn’t lose her brother.- Yuriko lifted her fist for a punch –Because I cant…- and ended up punching the wall besides Dan before collapsing. She did this speech half-conscious… Just to help Rin.
Sid and Haruko would be the first to reach the basement of the University, were the Lab of Kago was located. But before they could get into it there was a small obstacle. A 5’’ reinforced steel door blocking their path and from the other side, not known to them, FMY 2 stood guard in the lab, ready to attack any intruders.
-We’re almost done, just a couple more of organs and this will be over… I just hgn!- Kago started straining his muscles as he pushed down with his tool, trying to cut Gen’s ribs. –I need…NHG!!- Spark flew as the Hot-Blooded Boxer’s bones, reinforced by Fukuma’s training regimen were proving not to cooperative with the Doctor’s plans… -Just a bit more time…-
Going back to Crow, as his life would surely be flashing by his eyes right now because his death seemed to be imminent; somebody came to the Gunslinger aid. A pair of hands pushed him from the side (hopefully he wouldn’t avoid them) and the sound of metal clashing against metal resounded in the whole campus. Toramaru Nagare rushed to get Crow out of harm’s way while Raisa, the Russian Prodigy, blocked Masako’s wild attack with her sword showering the area with sparks.
-Crow-san are you okay!?- Shouted Toramaru, while Raisa silently gritted her teeth, blood coming out of her hands as the strength of the blow was so powerful than the shockwave through her blade, miraculously not broken but quite battered, managed to rip her skin. It was clear she was making a lot of effort, her knee on the ground, to resist the pressure of Masako’s blades. She tried her best to smile under all the pressure, even as scared as she was from the Alpha Predator demented face and bloodlust, and said.
-We came to help…-

Dan heard Haruko calling and dashing off. He wasn't sure why, but he was hoping for a moment of comfort. Stupid, considering her barely knew her. Instead, he got a very non-comforting kick to the side. He looked to see the girl from before, the one he had knocked out in Avatar State. He shrank back as she yelled at him, wincing as she grabbed his gi. "It wasn't- well, I was-" He stumbled over his explanation. The Avatar state was a touchy subject in the best of times, and she didn't need another reason to hate and distrust him.
As she fell, he ducked to catch her arms and lower her gently to the ground. "I will, and I'm sorry. I'll try to explain when the stakes are down." Brushing his hands off, he stood and ran after the others. He barely knew Gen, only knowing the kid was the first man with powers he had seen in years. But those two clearly cared. So he would fight, not for his selfish need for battle, but because they would otherwise loose a brother and friend. He erupted with power, gathering it around one fist when he saw the steel door blocking the hallway. No time to think about it, they needed to get in yesterday. With as much force as he could muster, he slammed his fist into it.
"OW! GOD DAMMIT!"

Arriving at the door, Haruko began to inspect it for any signs of defects. Weak points, if you will. Unfortunately, she couldn't find anything of note that would allow her to blast a hole through this door with her knives. Luckily, it seemed as if Dan was going to destroy the door with brute force! The battle seamstress began to give praise...
Until his fist utterly failed at the task. Chuckling slightly to herself, Haruko walks over to him. "Hey, you alright? That was quite an invested punch, ya know?" Oddly enough, a certain other individual was walking towards the door, a frown plastered across his face.
"Ok...I have had about enough of this. I just fought a fuckin' demon dude, and the only thing between me and finishing this thing is a door?! Stand back!" Reaching behind his back, Sid pulls out his katana once more, still glowing a brilliant shade of orange and crackling with electricity. The pain he felt from his battle with Ikari was still there, and now was a perfect opportunity to use it.
Letting out a loud roar, Sid steps forward and unleashes as much concentrated electricity as he could muster upon the door. To prevent any casualties inside, he doesn't let out a wave of electricity, but keeps it all concentrated in his blade, making it white hot. Even if all he accomplishes is just making a hole in the door, that would at least help the group to get inside.
