Chase slowly sighs to himself. He never like being in such a big group of people before, but at the very least he will get to enjoy the fighting. He found nothing wrong about Aria's plan and figures that it was a reasonable enough. After all, their job was to get the Lady of the Forest to stop feeding the massive plant, then wait until Osamu is ready to purify the entire forest and set his trap. After that everything should be fine. Chase was also slightly glad that Eve decide to join the fight again. Yet, he didn't feel the need to address her so soon, especially since he had a feeling that she was still upset with him. Suddenly, Chase senses a wave of energy travel throughout the spiritual plane and it sure as hell didn't feel friendly. But, one didn't need to be able to see the spiritual world to know that something bad was going to happen. On the physical plane, the tree emits a physical wave of darkness, which momentary blocks out the sun's light and makes the entire forest experience night. Looking back at the massive tree in the distance, he also notices that the ground around the tree begins to shift. The earth was continuing to grow more and more, until there was an entire barrier of short sized mountains surrounding the perimeter of the tree and its immediate roots before the roots disappear into the ground and spread throughout the entire forest. An earthquake quickly follows this most recent development. Soon enough, even more earthly materials begin to burst throughout area. The most notable was four massive earthy/tree monsters that stood at each direction of the towering tree. Slightly beyond the mountains, the monstrous creatures stood from the north, south, east and west of the gigantic tree. These creatures were all the same type of monster with only slight variations between each other. The only exception was that one of the titans was unique for having an entire massive pond on its back. Yet, all of them had a unique looking building at the top of their heads, which houses all the earth/plant spirits summoners that are fighting on behave of the Lady of the Forest. Each of the massive creatures stood at the height of the mountains to their backs and before Chase could even say a word, they all open their mouth. Their jaws drop straight to the ground in one quick and loud slam. Then an even more terrifying noises emerges as the mouths release hundreds to thousands of oddly shape creatures. Each individual creature was just as big as Aria's familiar, but Chase notices that they were much weaker than the actual spirit wolf leader. Still, the strange looking creatures were without a doubt dangerous. Moving like a horde of rats, they quickly gather around everywhere as fast as they possible could. Even though they were freakishly huge, they all were able to travel with incredible speed. Eventually, there are lines upon lines of the creatures standing around the mountain barrier. Chase couldn't even imagine what else could possible happen to make this situation any worse than it was already at and leave it to fate to ensure that he would regret his limited imagination. Inside the barrier of the mountains, more creatures were being born and took on the shape of dragons. The tree dragons were massive in their own right. Each one of them on average being nearly the size of the hill that was destroyed by the previous foe. One of the tree dragons flies upward and lands on top of the mountain peaks of the barrier. The force of its landing breaks the ground underneath the tree dragon's body. As it stands up, the earthly debris falls ever so slowly of its impressive rocky chest. The dragon opens its mouth and unleashes a roar of energy into the sky. There had to be at least a dozens of those dragons guarding the tree from the inside the mountain barrier. Looking at all this, Chase begins to think that there can not be anything else left to face. At least he hopes so, but sadly Chase's hopes are never truly fulfill in the way that he would like them to be. Right after the dragons settles in their guard positions, the last line of defense emerges from the earth to stand in front of the corrupt tree. This final bodyguard was so massive that it even manages to block the tree from sight. It arms spread out and its reaches to the ends of the Mountain barrier, where the arms' height were slightly above the tops of the short mountain peaks. The head of this enormous tree creature of destruction was hiding in the clouds above, but it can see the entire forest with no issues. After witnessing the assembly of the Lady of the Forest's forces Chase casually asks Aria, "So... I was wondering if I can be in Alex's group."

Once again, Eve found herself in the situation her abilities were least suited for. Lots and lots and lot and lots and FUCKING LOTS of enemies to shoot with her arsenal made to kick a single target's ass. Woe was she. Unfortunately, it looked like she'd be taking a backseat this round. "I'll take them from behind. Can I have the kids?" Stephan stepped in front of Allan. "Allan is staying with me." The young warrior nodded, keeping his fear down. He had never been in a fight like this, and sticking by his father was the best thing he could do. "Fiiiiine. Hey, do you want to come with me? I promise I'm fun!" Eve called up to the little girl who talked all grown up. With the manic's attention diverted, Stephan turned to his boss. "Do you know who this mad woman is, and if she's trustworthy?" While he confided in Aria, Allan looked over the crowd of monsters and concentrated. The darkness grew deeper as the clouds grew thicker. Within a few moments, the sky hissed with lightening, most of it blasting the massive beast with a million arms, but other bolts arced out to strike the high towers of the four great beasts surrounding the tree. Steve looked out at the army he faced, realizing just how small the HWIC's own forces were. He stepped up to his son and put a hand on his shoulder. "Stay here and keep blasting. No matter what, don't get involved in the melee. And if anything happens, remember that I'll be proud of you no matter what." He stepped past and strode forth, flesh tearing to make way for strategically placed spines. From his wrists they curved, spurs on his heels jabbed out, and the spikes on his back wiggled for a second before fully exploding out as full, claw-tipped tendrils. A biological armor, looking almost living, seemed to seep from his skin in green and black plating, flexible but strong. The look was completed when his red eyes materialized over his own, massive and unblinking, and long horns erupted from his forhead to arch above, giving him the look of a demonic insect. He changed from a poised father to an agile beast in an instant, lunging to do a slashing kick in midair that slashed one foot spur into a wolf-sized beast's foot, injecting incapacitating levels of nerotoxin before ripping through and landing in a stance ready to lunge again. He had faced worse odds, more deadly foes. He was born for this. Born to be a hero.

Frowning her face slightly, Aria observes the appearance of the Lady of the Forest's army. First were the giant tortoise-like creatures with temples on their backs, then a pack of much smaller creatures, followed by a flock of large dragons made out of what appeared to be trees, and finally a unsettlingly large beast close to the target that stretch far into the cloud cover, which would surely hamper their ability to attack from a distance. Thankfully, Allan had already launched an attack on the beast, and even made it arc into the other large beasts in the area. Turning her head to face Stephen, Aria glances over at Eve, then back to him. "Unfortunately, no, I don't know who she is. But I do know she is part machine, and is driven primarily by money. I'd advise you to keep an eye on her." Nodding as Stephen left, Aria thinks for a few seconds, then turns to the group once more.
"Listen up! There's been a change of plans. Alex, take a small group of your close quarters fighters and investigate those temples on top of the tortoises! But we're going to need a third leader..." Turning her head to face Stephen again, Aria looks him dead in the eye. "Stephen, are you willing to lead a group to face those smaller ground forces? I will lead a force myself against those dragons. And you..." Aria looks up at her wolf familiar. "I need you to help out Stephen's group against those beasts. My group can handle the dragons just fine, and you will be more effective against ground targets. Can you do that for me?" She asks the wolf.
Nodding at Allan, Aria motions toward the giant abomination. "We will also need to deal with that monstrosity. Allan, Erin, and everyone else who can attack at a long distance must stay here and try to take it down. Don't try to engage anything else, and stay out of it's arm's reach. Once these beasts fall, I will launch a flare to show our meet up point. Be careful out there, I am not willing to lose any of my soldiers to a bunch of firewood! Is everyone ready?!" Aria shouts that last part. A determined roar could be heard coming from her troops as they prepare to dive into battle. This plan seemed straightforward enough. Alex and his team investigates the tortoises, Stephen takes the majority of the forces and fights the groundlings, the less durable fighters stay back and divert the abominations's attention away from the attacking groups, and Aria will lead the charge against the dragons. If all goes according to plan, the Lady should be crawling out of her bunker soon enough.
Over to the side, Iris appeared to be amused by the events happening around her. She hears Eve address her, and shakes her head. "I'm sorry, but no. I have better things to do here. Bye!" And with that, Iris teleports herself on top of one of the dragons. "Now...let's see what you are made of..." With a sickening "crack" she splits open the spine of one of them and begins to inspect the contents of it's insides.

Chase didn't like this situation too much. He never was a fan of overworking himself, but it would seem he would have no choice in this matter. He was going to need to go all at at this rate if he wanted to a chance of serving this fight. The threat that they were facing was far too great for him to afford to hold back. He walks over to Alex's group and he prepares to face the enemy. He fully equips himself and prepares mentality as well for the battle that he was going to be facing soon. Even though he never imagine ever being part of something so massive or important, he still wasn't going to do any of this for others, for he doesn't really care for the world or its inhabitants. He was strictly doing this for his own self-presavation. His eyes glow with the instants of a wild animal for a split second, while the Mark of Chaos glows on his arm for a brief moment. During this instance, he sees of world of complete darkness and among the shadows ahead of Chase was a pair of violent green eyes looking directly at him. A roar emerges and throws the illusion out of Chase's head and brings his vision back into the real world. The booming roar was being produce by the Tree Giant that reaches the skies. Chase looks at the creature and his eyes flash bright green before going back to normal. ________________________________________________
The lighting rains down on the massive tree guardian, yet the creature found it to be rather frustrating, but not because it was causing it any major damage. The lighting would zip him with as much annoyance and pain as a childish joy buzzer. The surface skin of the creature would be slightly scorch from the lighting strikes, but the skin quickly repairs itself with the tree creature's surprising efficient healing factor. Then the colossal creature's insanely long and numerous arms went to work and the sky begins to rain with both Allan's lighting strikes and the creature's monstrous tentacle like arms. One of the arms reaches towards where the HWIC agents, Chase, Eve, Aria, and the spirit wolves are located. The hand at the end of the freakish disturbingly long massive arm could probably be big enough to palm a hill that the group was standing on. The force of the hand strike was going to practically crush everyone and the hill into the ground with enough power left over to create a crater big enough to fit another hill of the same size inside the creature with room to spare. As the hand reaches a mile from the others, the leader of the spirit wolves, releases another powerful energy blast that was capable of destroying the hand and a small percentage of the creature's entire arm before the enemy's blow could be made against them.
Still, the spirit wolf's anti healing affects only apply to their fangs and claws. The leader's energy blast, though powerful, didn't have the same coating of anti-healing properties as its fangs and claws. Soon enough, the somewhat damage limb retreats back behind the small wall of mountains, where the arm quickly regenerates until the entire arm was as good as new. The wolf leader growls his teeth at the creature and begins to move towards the monster. Seeing this as a direct challenge. As the leader moves forwards its pack quickly follows and move to engage the charging tree monsters. The adult spirit wolves work together to tear through the bodies of the enemies with quick sessions of collaborating attacks. Usually three of four spirits wolves would work together to quickly take down one of the tree giants (who each rival the same size as Aria's Familiar- the Spirit Wolf Leader) that had emerge form the huge turtle like creatures with the temples on their head. Unfortunate for the enemy, the special self-healing abilities were turn useless with the anti-healing abilities of the spirit wolfs. As for the wolves leader, it would charge through the enemies as a killing blur, creating a clear path of death to all the unlucky foes that stood in it's direct path towards the largest opponent of the battlefield.
As the soaring tree creature looks down on, it notices that the wolf that had damage it was coming straight towards it with rapid progression. To counter the possibility of the dangerous wold getting to close to the tree, it launches a dozen or so palm strikes at the spirit wolves' leader. Aria's familiar picks up on the incoming strikes and begins to move its legs with even more force and speed, which allow it to avoid all the attacks of the gargantuan tree defender. However, the continues attacks did manage to crush hundreds of the other tree giants on the ground, while it leaves massive craters as well. Yet, these tree victims even when crushed to pieces quickly heal themselves back together and begin to move out of the 1,000 feet deep craters and prepare to defend the super charged corrupted flower tree once again. And even when the spirit wolf was capable of avoiding the attacks, it notices that the attack pattern of the humongous tree protector was preventing the spirit wolf from getting any closer to the small mountain range barrier wall, which means it couldn't make any moves to land any blows to its opponent or target. Yet, this was because the biggest tree creature was giving the biggest spirit wolf its full attention. Currently, the two opponents are at a stalemate with one another. One trying to close the distance and the other trying to preserve the distance between the two of them. Still, this was only due to the insane speed of the wolf and the crazy size of the tree monster. ___________________________________
Meanwhile, as all this is happening, the tree dragon that was assaulted by Iris makes a painful cry to alert the others of the presence of a threat and soon enough a few other tree dragons move towards their location. The two closest dragons each unleash a mighty energy beam from their mouths towards Iris and their fellow tree dragon without a concern in the world if the attack would destroy their fellow tree dragon. In fact, even the tree dragon with the current split spine couldn't care if it gets destroyed, since it's own goal would be to take the enemy with it. Still, even as the two energy blasts quickly make their way to Iris and the injured tree dragon, the tree dragon's body begins to self repair itself in an incredible fast pace. its old spine rockets out of its location and a new spine quickly takes the place of the old. The tree dragon then without moving from its location, raises its wings, which turn into various branches that shot forward to grab Iris and trap her. A handful of the Tree Dragons fly overhead and prepare to unleash their own powerful energy attacks down at the intruder. Too bad for the tree dragons, they didn't realize that they had just enter the danger zone. ___________________________________
When all the was happening, the lighting that targets the temple at the top of the 4 legged Tree behemoths was being stopped by an extremely durable energy shield . The lighting strikes force would hit the energy shields of the temples and cause cracks to appear on the direct surface area that the lighting would land directly on, yet the cracks would quickly disappear as the shields are being repair by the Lady of the Forest's spirits inside the temples. Each temple was full of many summoners and warriors, who serve to protect the summoners inside. And in each temple, their was a commander in charge, who serves in the Forest's royal guard. Each one was a worthy foe in their own right and are responsible for issuing the Lady of the Forest's commands to the rest of the troops, while they also serve to be the ultimate guardians for the temples that they lead from. Each one sits in a large wooden chair at the highest point of the temple and overlooks the battle. Each one of them looking forward to proofing themselves worthy to their queen in the hopes that they can be promoted to serve as the right hand of the Forest. Yet, there was only one spirit allowed to serve that position and the current holder was already powerful enough to defeat each of the commanders all at once.

Stephan lunged back to Aria when she called him, hands dripping with plant juices when he turned to face her. When she was done, he turned to his troops and addressed them. "Spread out so they can't hit more than one person at once. Let the wolves do the heavy lifting, but use whatever you can to hurt them. Try special abilities or magic, not physical attacks. They might not regenerate so well from fire or poison." Unfortunate that Aria didn't recognize Eve. She seemed familiar.
He turned from his group and dashed back into combat, tentacles on his back shaking like they were just waking up. The venom on his wrist blades, tentacle claws, and foot spurs deepened from yellow to red. His normal nerotoxins would be useless on monsters based on plants. It was time for herbicides. His adaptive powers were so awesome.
His tentacles lashed out to gain a hold on the nearest tree beast. The barbs would dig in and give him an anchor to pull himself onto its back. After a few slashes, he would jump to the next and inject it with deadly venom. From beast to beast he would leap, using the vantage point to keep an eye on his team mates while jabbing these beasts with deadly talons.
___
Allan nodded at Aria's orders, chaos around him seeping into his mind. His lightening wasn't doing anything to anything. What could he even do here? He grimaced, showing off lethal fangs in his fear. All the power that wolf displayed and it didn't seem to do anything. Eve looked away from Iris with disappointment and smiled at Allan. "Yo! Keep raining the lightening and throw in some hail. I have a plan." She started pacing, looking for a position she liked. Allan was under no obligation to listen, but some guidance was nice and he obeyed. He kept up the storm, adding a chill to the air that started raining hail into the army. At golf ball sized, it was already painful, but it would grow rapidly, eventually capping at basketball-sized meteors of ice, thankfully not raining anywhere near where the HWIC agents were fighting.
Eve in the meantime found her preferred spot. She would like a tree, but with her weight, that wasn't an option. Instead, she ran to a different hill, slightly higher and with less trees. She could look over everybody from here, especially with her eyesight. It further improved as she expanded her eyes to fill most of her face. With some careful fiddling, she added more length to her cannon barrel using metal from inside her leg and the blowtorch in her chest to weld it. Perfect. She had a sniper rifle now.
With her massive eyes, she looked to the nearest temple bearer, watching as Allan's lightening made its little cracks. She calmed herself, cannon steady as it aimed. She could see the main summoner. Stupid grassy bastard thought he was safe. She waited. Waited. She needed the perfect opportunity. The moment where a crack would appear between her and the summoner. That's when she fired, letting the cannonball free to sail, to break through the weakened shield and a summoner's body.

Watching the action unfold around herself between the arm creature, her wolf familiar, Allan, Stephen, and the rest of her troops. Stephen seemed to be handling the ground troops just fine, and Allan was successfully breaking the barriers around the giant tortoises. The troops under their respective leaderships charged forward, launching a flurry of spells at the tree beasts in front of them, most of them fire based and lighting the monsters ablaze. It seemed as if the group was getting their foothold into the enemy's territory. Drawing both of her pistols, Aria nods at her group and yells "We're moving out! I'll bring the dragons down to Earth, and everyone focus on destroying their wings first! Move out!"
Sprinting forward inhumanly fast, Aria begins to focus her magic upon the trees directly below the tree dragons, and proceeds to summon a flurry of vines aimed directly at tying up their wings and pulling them to the ground. Once they were on the ground, Aria would sprint over to their bodies and fire 5 rounds of her fire bullets, which had extra piercing to light the insides of the dragons on fire, and destroy the beasts from the inside out. Oddly enough, it seemed that there was already a group of dragons attacking one of their own. Once quick glance at the situation told Aria all she needed about the situation. Those poor dragons...they had no idea what they were getting into.
---
"Hey wait, what am I supposed to d-" Erin's voice didn't reach Aria in time before the HWIC leader took off to fight the dragons. Great...left behind again, and in the smallest of the 3 groups. Allan seemed to be doing fine against the turtle shields...so what should she attack? This was too confusing!
And then a thought dawned on Erin. This was the perfect battleground for her powers! Wide open area, large monsters to fight, and no need to be precise in one's attacks. Perfect. Taking the oversized flower out of her hair, the plant disappears into a small cloud of pink petals...
...And reappears seconds later as a massive cloud of pink petals, numbering in the tens of thousands. This took an awful lot of magic energy to keep up, but it was worth it at this point. She could actually be useful for once! Glaring at the massive arm beast, Erin points her right hand at the monster, sending the massive cloud of petals at the beast's black arms. While this wouldn't seem like much, there was a special property to these petals. Each one was a small spectral sword that shimmered like a bright pink cherry blossom petal when exposed to light. With tens of thousands of these petals, each one, when touched, would deliver a sharp sword slash equivalent to a normal swordsman's. Her plan was to slice up some of this monster's arms, and help the giant wolf get closer to the action. She had to admit...it felt nice being useful.
---
Not wasting any time, Alex summons a portal next to his group, the other end aimed at another one of the temples atop the giant tortoises. The shield had been weakened, so he was able to place a portal in there. His group charges forward, each stepping foot inside of the temple, but not attacking yet.
With a graceful leap, Alex plants his feet into the temple last, directly between his group and the summoners. So this was where they were controlling these monsters...huh? With a look of dead seriousness on his face, Alex faces the summoners. "You are all hereby under arrest for charges that include; assault, illegal experimentation, resisting arrest, and terrorism. Lay down your weapons now, or we will have to use lethal force you all to comply."
Summoning his two tonfas to his arms, Alex looks at the summoners with a face that almost looked...excited. "Final warning. Get ready." He says, motioning towards his group at his last sentence. It has been a while since he has been able to take down this much scum at one time.
--
Iris didn't seem concerned at all at the approaching tree dragons. Her attention was more focused on the few samples of the dragon she'd managed to place into glass jars, then teleport away to her lab. Finally acknowledging the other dragons, Iris simply points her right finger at one of them. "Please don't interfere, I only need a few of you. Bye!" With a cheerful smile, Iris's finger glows a slight shade of black, then returns to normal. What follows though was anything but normal.
2 of the dragons following them would soon find their cells deteriorating, as if all the moisture in their roots had evaporated and the sun had dried out their parts for weeks on end. The process would start at their feet, but would work their way up to their heads and reduce them to dust. Not caring what happened to the other dragons, Iris turns back to the one she was already on and smiles. "I apologize, your friends are awfully rude. Now..." Going right back to work, Iris rips open the spine once more and ducks into the opening, tearing through the inside of the dragon and sending various samples to her lab. She clearly had no regard for what hurt the dragon or not.

Stephan's plan works perfectly, perhaps even better than he could have hoped. The tree creatures begin to become affected and their bodies begin to lose control of itself. The spirits wolves pick up on this occurrence and even begin to assist Stephan. Together, the spirit wolves quickly mow down enemies one after the other. The smaller tree monsters' healing factor was no where near as effective and impressive as the more powerful members of the Queen's army and was therefore useless against the effectiveness of Stephen's herbicides. Still, even with Stephen's herbicides involve in this battle, he could only slowed down the issue at hand by a tiny and even somewhat insignificant margin. At least that is what it would appear, but in reality it costs plenty of energy to mass produce so many familiars like this, which ultimately was going to heavily tax the summoners. Even they could not afford to be recklessly wasting energy like this to create such a large number of tree warriors. As they cut down the forest foes, the three large mountain size creature would simply cough up even more foes for them to face. The numbers of new enemies was more than twice the number of enemies that they have manage to put down so far. Yet, even with the number increasing, the spirit wolves remain calm. Even with the lost of a handful of fellow spirit wolves, they continue to manage and resist against this unrelenting assault. Also, Allan's efforts along with the battle going on between the pact leader of the wolves and the massive guardian of the deadly flower tree is also preventing a complete all out rush from the Queen's troops, allowing more breathing room for the the HWIC agents. Yet, a few tree soldiers begin to pick up on the danger of Stephan's ability, thus they command the advancing giant foot troops to gang up and finish him off quickly. More than ten massive familiars went after Stephan and tried to surround him from all sides in a circle formation. They get close to another and raises their hands at him, then from the palm of their hands they each release dozens of needle shape spears, that was longer than the human body. _________________________________________ Aria efforts against the Tree Dragons work out without too much trouble at first. Though after losing a few members, the remaining Tree Dragons become to switch their attack plan. They flew up higher and higher to avoid the troops and Aria's vines and begin to rain down powerful energy attacks towards the intruders. Not only that, but newer Tree Dragons begin to resurrect and launch from the earth to the air to assist their allies. One tree dragon is even born right behind Aria. Upon seeing the foe in front of it, about 100 meters, the dragon releases a powerful blast directly towards her, which was capable to ripping about the area around the blast by the pure shockwave of the attack without even making direct contact. The attack reaches close to its target and explodes into a massive wave of energy. The light from the blast illuminates the entire battlefield in a blanket of brightness momentary, before the intense brightness goes down and everyone can see the explosion continues to rage in a condense sphere of energy. As the blast continues, the dragon that deliver the attack continues to emerge form the ground, until its entire body was out. It stares at the handiwork, assuming that it had just finish one of the most dangerous individuals that could oppose a threat to the lady of the forest. Even now the energy from its attack remains and the tree dragon releases a victory roar, not knowing that it was about to face the consequences of its action soon enough. ____________________________________________________ The giant Spirit Wolf appreciates the assistance from Erin and is able to continue the focus on keeping the attention of the massive tree guardian, while also closing the distance between them. Yet, their attacks are unable to cause any permanent damage and leave room for much progression. Any attack they land and would deal any visible damage on the creature was almost immediately repaired by its insane regeneration abilities, unless they are hit by the wolf's anti healing moves. The pack leader of the wolves is trying to get close enough to deal deadly damage with either his claws or fangs with their special anti-healing effects, yet it couldn't get close to the main body thanks to the number of gigantic hands that prevent the spirit wolf from getting close enough to deal a blow to its body. Even when Aria's familiar will deal sufficient damage to a hand to the point of making that hand useless, the creature would simply create another arm and hand for the one that he couldn't no longer use. Eventually, the hundred hand creature realize that it should take out the small annoying issue, who keeps attacking him with a bunch of short, yet sharp objects. Meanwhile, the wolf avoids another close call attack and moves closer to Erin, for he was going to protect her from a massive barrage of attacks that head straight towards her. Not wanting to risk losing a useful partner, the wolf gingerly takes its tongue and wraps around Erin with it. Once secured in his tongue, he leaps off the ground again and again to avoid a half a dozen palm strikes form the beast. After avoiding the strike , he releases Erin, who is covered in salvia from top from bottom on his back. The wolf nudges her with his nose and his fur wraps around her lower body to hold her in place as he dodges even more attacks. At this point, the Tree monster was using around fifty hands and the wolf spirit has no choice but to keep avoiding the beast. His plan was to close the distance with his superior speed and with the help of the little girl on his back to remove any hands that gets in his way. ____________________________________ Chase looks past Alex and looks at the summoners starting right back at them. He knew that this was going to end in a fight, so why would he even try to give them a warning? Looking at the summoners souls, they are more than ready for a fight and looking at Alex's soul, he was eager to take down these guys. Well I don't mind allowing him to take most of these guys, or even all of them. So far, Chase has not participate in this battle since the appearance of the queen's army, yet he was reaping the benefits of this whole battle. Every single person or thing that died will get their soul absorb into his body. As Chase was standing around doing nothing, he was becoming more and more powerful as he collects the spirit energy of the fallen every single second. Even he was surprise about how much spirt energy he was gaining. Still, even if he was getting juice up like crazy, he still was going to use the least amount of spirit energy that he only needed for this conflict. After all, the more spirit energy he had, the less likely he was going to die. Besides, he felt there was no need to waste all this energy he was gaining on these foes anyway. They didn't seem strong or powerful in any meaningful way. The opponent he was going to receive this energy for still hasn't shown up yet. He looks beyond the averages summoners to see a massive man walking towards them. He held an air of authority over the others along with far more power. The large man stood about 10 feet tall and was built like a tank. The behemoth of a druid took a moment to study the scene before him. He raises his massive staff and strikes the ground, which releases a energy wave that shakes the entire temple. He looks at Alex and points the staff at him. Unknown to Alex, was that this opponent was not as intelligent as his appearance would make him seem. He payed close attention to how the opponent was able to use teleportation ability to enter this place with his men. So, he cast a field spell in the temple to prevent further teleportation. However, this also cause the Summoners to be unable to bring in any summon creatures into the temple. Yet, that did not disturb there ability to function the troops. The summoners begin to leave the entrance of the temple and head inside, Leaving their general to handle the intruders for they needed to focus on the battle that was going on beyond the temple's boarders. Yet, even though the summoners were not able to summon familiars inside the temple now, that didn't prevent the tree golems that are already inside the temple to step out of the shadows to engage the enemy. The general looks around him and offers a few commands by waving his staff to the golems, who are exactly like the ones that Chase and Eve fought before the tree flower pop up, and they move to form a wall to not allow anyone to advance inside the temple past them. Looking back at Alex, the man speaks, "Get Ready." The druid held up his staff and points it directly at them before. He takes his time eyeing each member of this task force with his glowing green eyes and when he finishes he says, "And prepare to DIE." Chase could see the build up in his staff before it could become visible to the others and he was not in the mood to die. He unleashes his Overdrive ability for a split second to rush the general and throws upper punch at the staff. The staff releases a blast at the incorrect direction thanks to Chase quick interference and the blast launches upwards in a straight line that blasts right through the temple shields as if it wasn't there to begin with. Chase then launches a follow up punch while he was still in his Soul Overdrive mode. The punch flies at the general breaking the sound barrier upon its initial velocity and quacking picking up speed to rush to supersonic speeds, yet the punch was stop before Chase could fully extend his arm by the druid's own hand. Chase quickly pulls out his sword and swings it, but it was stop by the arrival of a force field aura of the Druid. Quickly, Chase prepares another attack, this time with more force than before, but before he could attempt another attack at his foe's body, the general lets go of Chase's arm with his hand and throws the same hand smashes into Chase, which sends him flying into the energy field that protects the temple. The general looks down and notices that he was lost his hand in that quick exchange, which didn't even last for a 10th of a second. He looks up to see Chase coughing up a blood as his chest had dent due to the palm of the general's hand, which he currently has by his feet. The same moment that the general push him, he swung his sword and remove the druid's hand from his wrist. Both men stare at each other as their bodies repair the damage they just had receive. Chase's chest returns to normal shape and his lungs went from being completely crush to completely fine, while the general's wrist sprout out a new hand for him to use. Chase spits out a good amount of blood before he fully equips himself with his gear. He also undoes his Soul Overdrive ability. Even though he would quickly regain the lost spirit energy soon enough by the casualties of the battlefield, he couldn't afford to just go all out against this guy. If his healing ability was that good, then he wouldn't be able to put him down. Studying the area again, Chase can see that there was a new layer to this temple that was different from before he arrive and struck the ground with his staff. Did he cast some type of immortality spell... Looking even closer, he could see that space was bending slightly inwards by the spell. Chase was unsure exactly what that tiny bend meant exactly, but he figures that the best plan was to force this guy to leave the area of effect of his own spell. Once he was away from the field affect of whatever he did before, he will no longer be able to benefit from what he did. It seems the spell range is about the same size as the temple's energy field, so I guess I got to knock him off this stupid ass turtle. The Druid on the other hand was already moving on to his next target, he swings his staff and creates a large energy wave heading towards Alex and his group. The attack spreads out and becomes large and large, until it was big enough to cut even the temple in half.

While Stephan saw his attacks were working, on the large scale they didn't seem to be making a dent. He wasn't made for fighting swarms of giant monsters. Still, he fought with all his might to keep them away from the casters in back. He would protect his comrades and son if it cost him his life. It was no different than any other fight in that regard. As the beasts took a specific interest in him, he glanced about, realizing he was surrounded by enemies all focused on him. It was too late to bolt, so he just readied himself. As they fired their spears, his body twisted in impossible ways to avoid them. His limbs grew hooks to grab onto the spears. With a massive, unimaginable movement through his whole body, he hurled tons of the spines back at the foes who fired them, aiming for their faces in the hopes of blinding them.
While they were hopefully distracted, he dashed out of the circle and jumped at the back of one's knees, swiping at the tendons with his claws in the hopes of dropping it into the others. With the large body between him and the other beasts, he had a moment of safety.
___
Allen shied away when Erin was scooped up by the wolf. Had it just eaten Erin? Was it still on their side? He didn't want to attack it and find out and so focused on the temple. The air chilled further as he focused the hail on one of the great beasts, pushing it to chunks the size of basketballs, raining at terminal velocity on the shield surrounding its temple, other chunks impacting surrounding monsters, chill hopefully slowing the plants down as well. It took extra effort to push hail to its natural limits, and he wasn't strong enough to keep it going. But he wasn't giving up just yet. If these things threatened the innocents of the world, he would stop them. That's what he was raised to do. He raised his arms and let the rain continue.
___
Eve looked quizzically at the temple after she picked herself up (removing the metal from her leg had made it strikingly poor at withstanding the recoil of her sniper cannon. Did she hit them? Apparently not, since the main one, the one she had aimed for, was staring down at Chase. When did Chase get up there? He was fast. She couldn't very well un-sniper her cannon (she was so proud of her brilliant invention), so she might as well use it.
She reloaded her cannon and rushed out at the army before her. Gleefully she twirled like a ballerina, letting her chest gout flame in a circle around her, lighting any plant she could ablaze. Finishing the twirl with a drop to one knee, she aimed her cannon at another momentary weak spot in the shield around the summoner Chase was fighting. She was once again aiming for the largest one, seeking to drop him. Chase was gonna owe her big.

Aria continued to unleash vines upon the dragons, bringing them down to Earth and crushing them under the weight of her own plants. It appeared to be going somewhat smoothly...until she felt the ground near her shake, and her head turned back to find a dragon rising out of the ground, charging up a massive attack aimed directly at her. Wasting no time, Aria concentrated her light energy to teleport out of the way, and she manages to avoid the main wave, luckily. However, she miscalculated the sheer size of the blast and got caught up in the resulting explosion, her body utterly disintegrating from the massive attack. Any onlooker would have thought she was dead after taking such a blast. As the dragon roared, there appeared to be nothing left of the HWIC president other than a mostly burned husk of a body that was missing from the waist up. However...the husk began to grow a bright shade of yellow, and began to expand. Cells regrew above the waist until an upper body was formed, then a set of arms, and finally the recognizable head of Aria Miyata. While it is true that an attack of that magnitude would have killed her, the sheer brightness of the explosion allowed her to absorb enough sunlight into her body to regenerate at an even faster rate than if the sun itself was out. She coldly stands up and stares down the dragon, opening up her pistol and placing a baseball-sized capsule into it, loading it and staring the dragon down with a mixture of anger and determination. Pulling the trigger back, the area in front of Aria is engulfed in a fireball that rips through the forest, uprooting trees from the sheer force alone, reducing the trees directly in front of it to ashes, which hopefully includes the dragon. Frowning slightly, Aria begins to speak as the fireball ravages the dragon in front of her, and hopefully some of the dragons around him. --- "Hey, what are you doIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING?!" Erin shrieks as she is picked up by the giant wolf's tongue and flung around like some sort of ragdoll. A ragdoll that was now covered in slime. This stuff is going to make her smell horrible until she manages to wash these and get a shower! Her discomfort went down slightly when she was let onto the wolf's back, but she hung on for dear life as the wolf continued to dash around the area. Rubbing some of the saliva off onto the wolf's fur, Erin continued to hang on with her other hand. "I didn't appreciate that...at all! But I'll help you, wolf person! Just don't do that again!" With a huff, Erin focuses all of her petals into a path in front of them, making a makeshift arched dome out of her pink petals to give the spirit wolf a clear path to go down in it's charge for the hand monster. ...but wait, if they were going right next to the hand monster...so was she! What could she do when up close to that...thing?! Was this wolf crazy?! --- Seeing that the summoner wasn't going to back down, Alex smiles as he watched Chase battle against the general. He was about to summon chains in order to attack the general as well...but for some reason, he couldn't create any portals in here. Thinking back, it must have something to do with the general pointing his staff at him. No matter...this just meant he could get nice and personal with this monster. But first thing's first. "Everyone, MOVE!" He yells as him and his group dove out of the way of the mage's blast, surprised at the amount of energy it was able to produce in a short amount of time. But the look on Alex's face couldn't be happier. "Everyone, load up your fire bullets and attack the monsters. Chase and I will deal with this wretch. GO!" On command the forces behind Alex rush forward, unleashing a hellfire of fire bullets that engulf the entrance. While his forces created a path for him, Alex digs his right leg into the ground, and with one more smile, pushes off with his tonfas held out. He aimed to slam into the mage's force field with the full force of his tonfas, which had added weight behind them, using his Focus's property. At the same time, he summons a line of chains behind the general that all rush forward at once to slam into the force field with small metal spears attached at the ends. Perhaps with a more spread out attack, it would weaken the field. Alex's tonfas alone had enough energy to make half a semi truck implode in on itself upon impact, and the chains individually could piece through multiple layers of steel before running out of momentum. It was truly a test of how powerful this shield was.

Stephen’s attempt to throw back the creatures attack was successful at distracting them enough to be able to escape from the middle of the circle outline by giant enemies. Yet, the spears he throw back didn’t cause any real permanent damage to the massive tree behemoths. The spears would simply penetrate the first few layers of their skin, then be reabsorb at an incredible rate. Any holes from the spears would quickly be taken care of by the tree beings quick pace healing abilities. Still, while he was working at tearing into the tendons, he simply did not realize that his current opponents’ anatomy was not limited in the same way as a regular living creature is. As his claws come close, the targeted area’s skin quickly begins to develop various large bumps around the back of the monster’s leg, each being as big as Stephen’s torso. Then suddenly like a explosion, the surface with bumps pop with a high pitch sound, capable of inflicting a temporarily stun to nearby living beings along with the recently expose holes unleashing a barrage of spears towards the claw opponent.
Meanwhile, the tree familiar that Stephen choose to attack, also release a signal to his fellow species, that the enemy was behind him. And without any hesitation, the others nearby tree familiars shot more spears at their enemy, regardless if their attack would need to go through the large body that Stephen was hiding behind. Yet, sadly the tree monster that he was hiding behind simply adjust its shape to allow minimal resistance and protection from the spears for the man using it as a giant tree shield. Though it is not only the tree monsters that form the circle around the man before are part of this onslaught. Other tree giants from around the vicinity picked up on the signal from their fellow sibling, and come in to join the action to put this dangerous rick down. Even more unfortunately for Stephen, as they charge towards his location, the tree monsters outside the circle launch their own spears at him. The amount of spears number in the low thousands, with each moving at speeds faster than a bullet train, and he will soon be face with a small army of around 50 of those large tree soldiers. Lucky, the heavy hail not only slow down the incoming foes arrival, but manage to knock and redirect hundreds spears at an angle that Stephen would not need to worry about.

Allen’s efforts continue to be a big help to the wolves spirits as they continue to rip apart the foes with their special anti-healing teeth and claws. The number of causalities on the wolf side would have been much higher had it not been for Allen’s intervention. The wolves usually consider the might of the skies to be a rather dangerous, yet to be supported by the power of the the heavens like this was a fun change of pace from the typical treatment they would have to face back home. Their efforts and spirits burst with confidence as the wolves work like a well oiled machine to massacre large number of trees giants with amazing cooperation between each other and the residents of the world that they are fighting for.
_______________________________________________
Aria’s attack surprises the tree dragon, which had previous blasted her from behind before, and as it tries to charge up another powerful attack…it was too late. The fierce blast decimates a huge section of the forest, causing nothing but pure destroying for everything that is in front of the pistol’s line of sight. The tree dragon was no exception. As the trees are rip out of the ground and turn into ashes inside the blazing fire, so too did the tree dragon’s body turn into various small pieces by the sheer force of the attack. Before the tiny fragments of its body could hope to regenerate, they get intensely torch and blown away. A couple of other Tree dragons also experience the same fate as their fallen comrade as they too become less than charcoal by being too close to range of the HWIC president’s attack. Still, some of the tree dragons, the ones that didn’t happen to be in the line of sight of the Aria’s raging blast and that are high enough in the air, manage to not be damage, or even harm, by her latest attack.
After the impressive attack been fired, the other remaining tree dragons that happen to be on the ground took flight immediately and spread out in hopes that they could avoid being destroyed together if the dangerous woman use another one of those overwhelming powerful attacks again. As they create distance from each other, the dragons also begin to charge up their own attacks. Each one was preparing to use up almost all their energy to destroy the woman. Though the dragons are smart enough to avoid collateral loses for the lady of the forest’s armies by avoiding sticking close together should Aria’s bring out another large scale attack like the one she used on their fellow tree dragons just a moment ago, they did not realize that she gain power through absorbing and being expose to more sunlight. The ignorant tree creatures did not understand the method behind the source of her power, so they all foolishly open wide and release a power strike at Aria in one massive barrage of large scale explosions. Each attack being just as powerful as the attack that had earlier destroyed Aria’s body. The multiple blasts overlap with each other, until the shape of the explosions merge into a single looking massive energy blast.
_________________________________________________
As the leader of the Spirit wolves heads towards the gigantic monster with its head above the clouds with fascinating maneuvers to avoid the tallest tree creature’s attacks and continue to move forward as it tries to close the distance. The only way for the beast to be able to apply its special anti-healing abilities would be to deal a blow with either its teeth, claws, or fur. Yet, with it raining giant hands like this, which each one being large and powerful enough to flatten an entire neighborhood with one blow, it was not an easy task to be able to dodge while closing the gap as well. Luckily, the wolf is not alone. With the help of Eren’s creation, it was able to take some more liberties with its movements. Being free to jump and leap forward without wasting so much energy and space to dodge as much as before. Trusting Eren’s unique blades’ ability to efficiently to be able to cut through the hands fast enough for them to escape the gigantic opponent’s blows. Eventually, the wolf manages to reach the mountains surrounding the massive tree. It quickly begins to run up on the surface of the mountain with seemly impossible swiftness for an animal its size. It took a few seconds before it had move up the entire side of the mountain.
Once it reaches the top of the mountains peaks, it saw the creature was preparing to launch a massive assault once more, yet this time the assault is much more massive then before. The tallest tree familiar purposely let them get this close, allowing them to get in position in order to overwhelm them during this moment. Dozens upon dozens of hands shot down and prepare to smash the mountain along with Aria’s familiar and her sister. The sprit wolf didn’t believe it could out muscle or out run this large scale attack, but it was confident that it could manage to create a path for itself and the passenger on its back. The wolf leaps towards the hands, at first it appear to be some foolish suicidal move, yet the spirit wolf leader begins to show off just how nimble it truly is. It twists its body upside down as it runs across one of the arms, then quickly jump off from one limb to the next as the hands strike down the mountain. The creature immediately tries to switch his hands' aim to his own hands, but since the tree creature focus all its attention on striking the area of the small mountain range, its hands are having trouble adjusting to attack other hands as the wolf continues to travel upwards by using the tree creature’s own body. And anytime a hand would come too close for comfort in front of the spirit animal, the wolf would open its path and release a massive energy attack to blast a hole in a hand, that is big enough for Aria’s familiar to come straight out of the wound as it climbs higher and higher. For hands that come from behind or the side that get to close, the animal left those hands to Eren, should it be an unavoidable hand strike for the wolf. As the pack leader continues to move closer and closer to the main body of the tree, it has a clear goal in mind: To get to the head of this massive tree and end this fight with a combination of furious strikes. _________________________________________________
As more foes are defeated, large quantity of souls and head towards Chase and his black hole soul consumes a gigantic buffet of spirit energy. Never has Chase absorb this much before, yet for some reason he didn’t feel full at all. He always wonder if there exists a limit to how much spirit energy he could take in at once, but so far even with the numbers of sous he is taking in ranging at the rate of dozens per a second, along with each soul consisting of a pretty tremendous amount of spirit energy from what his black hole soul normally gets to consume as well. Yet, unknowing to Chase, his own eyes begin to glow a slight green along with his Mark of Chaos turning into a brighter shade of red as well. This however, only lasted for a few seconds as he watches Alex’s attack.
As Alex rushes forward to the general, the general simply remains motionless as Alex slams into his personal force field that is a three feet around his body, which begins to crack upon the impact and actually surprisers the druid. He didn’t consider that the opponent rushing him is going to be this powerful. Next the chains with spears attack him from behind. The sudden attack from behind took him completely by surprise. However, even the chains and spears could not shatter the force field, though the spears did manage to penetrate the force field a bit, yet the spear stop halfway inside his force field. The druid didn’t appreciate the sudden attack and prepares to thirst his staff right at Alex, when a cannon ball arrives on the scene through the temple’s weaken force field.
The cannon ball rushes towards the general, who is too fixated on Alex at the moment to notice the heavy ball's approach. The cannon ball breaks right through the personal shield of the druid and hits the general right in the head. Yet, the cannon ball’s momentum and overall force had been weaken immensely by the barriers it needed to go through to get to the general, that by the time it connected, it was already too weak to deal any notable damage. In fact, the cannon ball shatters into tiny pieces once it hits against the tough helmet. The blow of the cannon cause the druid’s head to move a inches back and as well as create slight hesitation for his counterattack against Alex, due to both its power and unexpectedness. Once again, the master of the temple is caught off guard by an opponent’s attack, which causes his blood to boil in utter rage.
The Druid strikes the ground with intense frustration and energy, causing a shockwave to blow away the chains and Alex’s body to the corners of the temple’s shield. He then lifts his staff and yells, “I’LL SMITE YOU ALL!!!” As he finish his threat, a large quantity of energy emanates from his body and expands through the interior of the temple’s force field. The large amount of energy pushes against everyone as far away from the general as possible, including the HWIC members fighting the tree golems. The only ones not to be affected by the sudden outburst of energy are the tree golems. Even Chase once again gets send backwards a few feet when the Druid release his energy a bit. Chase however was not so concern with the general releasing his energy but with what he is currently doing with the energy.
The general pulls the outside energy back towards the top of his staff, where the energy not only gather quickly together, but begins to condense as well. As the energy gathers into a smaller and smaller point, Chase begins to worry about the general next move. The amount of spirit energy that the druid has right above his staff alone was more powerful than any other tree familiar’s singular attacks, excluding perhaps only the tallest of the tree familiar. However, the fact that the energy seem to be so confine in such a small amount of space also makes Chase uneasy. Chase immediately reenters his soul overdrive mode and kicks it up a knock from the last time he used it. He bends his knees slight, getting ready to blitz the general before he could get his attack off. Chase breaks the sound barrier as soon as he pushes off the ground towards the druid. Yet as he gets closer, his body begins to feel heavier and heavier along with the air becoming denser. It was as if he weigh at least five times more than before and that the air turn into solid rock.
Yet regardless of the surprise conditions he is currently experiencing, Chase continues to push forward with even more urgency and energy then before. He manages to cover the distance and was only a step away from delivering a massive sword swing through the druid’s torso, but first he needs to get pass the general barrier. It seem it was not only the general’s body that recovers quickly, but also his own personal force field as well. As his blade comes down, it slices through the personal force field as if he was using a butter knife against a large steak. His hand begins to shake as he tries to cut through. Chase reinforces his strike with even more spirit energy. Giving his blade the strength to break through the shield in one motion. Once he steps inside the druid’s personal space, Chase swings his sword again. Yet, he was too late. The tree leader finish collecting his energy as soon as Chase destroyed his shield. As Chase sword comes in, the druid releases his attack, which release another shockwave, which is potent enough to swipes Chase off his feet and launch him once more into the temple’s force field.
However, the general's move did not aim to strike down anyone directly. His technique’s purpose is to even the odds in the favor of the tree army. The general’s condense energy launches forward like a bullet towards the sky, breaking through the temple’s shield and reaching the cloud, where the small energy ball explodes. The force of the explosion rips away the clouds and pushes them far away from the battlefield. No more did hail and other attacks from the skies come down upon the tree folk. Yet, the druid’s energy did not only remove the clouds from the battlefield, but it also cast a unique spell above all heads, except for the towering tree creature. The Druid’s spell will further prevent the clouds from gathering and creating insane weather conditions against the tree forces. With this, the tree army no longer needed to suffer against the forces of nature like before.
After the attack is release, Chase no longer feels the same conditions as before when the general was still charging up his attack. His body returns to normal weight and the air is once again light. As he gets back on his feet, he looks at the Druid, who is currently pointing his staff at Alex. The druid causally release a energy blast at Alex, which could easily have been big enough to take out an average size house. The druid then points his staff at Chase and releases a similar attack at him. Chase, still in his soul overdrive ability, swings his sword down and manages to cut the energy attack down the middle and allowing the blast to split off into two parts that travel and strike away from’s chase’s body. The energy blast simply collide and destroy a huge section of the temple’s shield with so much force, that the force field could not repair the damage like it normally could.
Chase grips his sword handle tighter upon seeing the energy that the druid is still showcasing even after that large scale spell. Though, unlike the general, Chase himself continues to pull in spirit energy at an alarming rate through his consumption of souls. But, Chase being unsure about his ability to manipulate such a large amount of spirit energy is still unable to perform the same degree of control as the general. Even his body could not do so well when using so much spirit energy if he is reckless with it. Chase’s turns off his Soul Overdrive ability to give his body a break from the stress along with repairing the damage he receive from using Soul Overdrive.
As his body recovers, Chase wraps his own chains around his sword and shield. He then looks at the general, who seem to be completely amuse. He takes out his staff and waves it in the air. The temple shield’s glow bright green for a moment before dimming back down to normal. The holes of the temple’s force field created by his own attack vanishes along with the bright light. The druid then begins to speak as he walks towards Chase. “I will kill you and anyone else who is foolish enough to dare oppose our magnificent Queen.”

The piercing burst knocked Stephan flat, but the spears stuck in the hide of the Nucleus, now changed to deflect piercing harm. The secondary barrage hit him in a wave, knocking him flat with the blunt force. Slowly he stood. Spears hung from his body, only a few even scraping hisThe Nucleus had grown thick enough to take the piercing harm, but the sheer force behind them broke something deep inside. He bled. He shook and got back into a fighting stance, spears falling away as he continued to adapt. His son's efforts were making him proud, slowing down the beasts. He lunged and attempted to slash at the monsters again, keeping low. As he struck, his wrist blades grew longer when they were ineffectual, long enough to actually sever limbs. He hoped to drop the monsters to the ground and then bring his blades to bear on their necks.
___
Allen scowled when his clouds were blown away. He concentrated all his might into bringing them back, but nothing happened. He panicked for just a moment. What could he do when his powers became worthless? He glanced at what looked like a hopeless situation, but then he saw his father, injured but standing anyway. Was that what being a hero was? He wanted to live up to that. He would BE that. He extended his hands. Mist curled from the ground. If he couldn't take the clouds of the sky, he would use the clouds of the ground. The mist built, plumes erupting to blind the monsters, hanging at exactly their eye level.
___
Eve giggled in glee when she saw her shot strike true. Less heads flying off than he wanted, but whatever. She made a quick mental check of her remaining cannonballs and gunpowder. She couldn't afford to keep sniping. Getting a thoughtful look, she walked forward into the masses, waiting for anything to make a move.

Aria watched as her attack ripped through the forest, burning away a number of the tree dragons, and by extension a good part of the surrounding forest. Having already taken note that the dragons were specifically targeting her now, the HWIC president began to quickly use her light powers to teleport across the battlefield, her powers having been supercharged by the explosion's strong emission of light as she teleported away. Standing just out of range of the explosion, Aria absorbs as much of it's light as she could before turning to face the remaining tree dragons.
Leaping upwards, Aria teleports herself on top of one of the in-flight dragons's backs, and springboards off of it to teleport even higher above them. After getting a good ways above them, she loads another fire shell into her pistol, channeling much of the excess light she had absorbed into this one shot. Then, pulling the trigger, Aria launches a massive fireball aimed downward at the circling tree dragons, the fireball gaining speed as it barreled toward the enemies. She had supercharged the already huge blast with the light energy, so this particular attack was both larger and hotter than the last, and it was aimed to kill as many of the dragons in one shot as possible as she descended towards Earth.
---
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh! Make it stoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooop!" Erin yells as she was thrashed around by the spirit wolf's swift maneuvering. She held onto the wolf's fur for dear life, while still attempting to concentrate on keeping the hands at bay with her blade petals, a task that was both mentally and physically straining. But she couldn't fail now...now when everyone was counting on her. As the wolf neared the body of the giant tree, she began concentrating harder than ever upon trying to keep these hands at bay, summoning even more petals than before and, by extension, using up more of her magic energy. She had no idea where the wolf was going next, but she concentrated her fire upon most of the hands that seemed to be out of the wolf's sight, attempting to give him a clear window to attack. But once this mission was over...she was never going to go on another roller coaster ever again.
---
Alex frowns as his attack only managed to crack the general's shield, and does a quick flip in the air to land back on his feet when the shockwave knocked him away. How was this mage so strong, even after taking all the punishment from Chase and himself? His answer soon became clear as he began charging his next attack. Alex quickly notices that his speed was reduced, so he summoned a flurry of chains to pierce the shield...but they also seemed to be slowed down and didn't do nearly enough damage. Cursing to himself, Alex braces for the next shockwave, and was only pushed back a couple of feet from where he was, while the other HWIC members were thrown around the temple. Luckily they all managed to get back up and resume their own fight.
Staring up at the sky, Alex smirks to himself, and begins to laugh to himself. "Of course...you're a bunch of trees! You thrive off the sun just like plants! I guess I'll just have to be more creative in dealing with you." The HWIC Enforcement captain frowns at the massive blast coming towards him, but he manages to take off at near supersonic speeds and allow the blast to miss him and hopefully slam into the shield like Chase had managed to do with his. Seeing that Chase was also preparing to charge at the monster once more, Alex darts towards him and places his hand on Chase's shoulder and began to whisper, holding his other hand up so the general couldn't lip read.
"It looks like his magic is being funneled through that staff. If you can help me break his shield...I can take it with my chains and he'll be powerless. Good? Good." With a pat on the shoulder, Alex readies his tonfas once more, ready to dash to the side Chase doesn't take to strike at the same time, ready to summon a chain to wrap around the general's staff and rip it out of the fool's hands.

Stephen’s slash against the trees creatures are successfully able to cut through and before long his efforts cause a couple of tree monsters to fall down one after the other with missing limbs, yet there are far more trees being produce then the number he was cutting down. Not only that, but as the cloud went away, more tree monsters come rushing towards his position thanks to the lack of hail. Though the new found mist cause a lot of tree bodies to stumble over each other, causing the whole advancement to slow down. Though, soon enough the situation is not going end well if he isn’t able to progress away from the approaching horde. He will be overrun by hundreds of tree monsters and even the ones that he has knock down are still capable of continuing the fight even without the use of some limbs. The fallen tree beasts raise and transform their remaining limbs into massively spheres with tons of spears sticking out the surface. And since they could no longer see, they decide to go with a new method to hit their foe. Like an explosion, all the fallen tree monsters erupt into thousands of spears in all directions while surrounding ever side of the armored man, with each spear having more than twice the force of previous spears thanks to the extra momentum of the tree creature’s explosive method. _____________________________ Aria’s new attack unleash hell on the many Tree Dragons hanging in the air. The blast completely took them by surprise. They had thought by getting airborne would give them an advantage over this opponent, but they were gladly mistaken. They remaining tree Dragons begins to create even a greater distance from each other, while they unleash their powerful roars at the opponent. They still did not realize the source of her power and with more light coming down with the lack of clouds, they will probably find themselves to be facing a losing. However, even if they did not pay attention to Aria’s abilities and skills someone else was. The lady of the Forest is able to watch through the eyes of her servants as their field of vision is just an part of her sight and she starts to pay closer attention to Aria. The idea that someone was not only using her forest against her was frustrating enough for the queen, but to add more to the insult was Aria stealing light that she feels that it belongs to her and then using its power to destroy her precious tree dragons. This cause the lady to turn her focus slightly away from pumping more power into the tree as she begins to fixate on Aria. Though for now, she will remain here to finish her goal, but as the seconds go by, the lady’s anger continues to grow. ______________________________ The Spirit wolf manages to avoid being hit by the numerous and massive arms of his opponent, especially thanks to the aid of the girl riding on its back. The wolf finally arrives to the stop and jumps forward at the beasts head. Its plan is to tear through and rip this massive foe apart from top to bottom. Yet, the wolf’s plan did not go as smoothly as he thought it would be. When he reaches the head of the titan, the beast was already ready to greet him with a extremely powerful hello. The tree giant opens its mouth and releases a powerful blast straight at the wolf and Erin. The wolf had no where to go, so it did the only thing it could do. The wolf release his own energy blast, but it was not aiming to strike against the attack heading towards him. Instead, the wolf launched the attack downwards and using the force to lift high enough to avoid being blasted into little bits. The tree creature tries to adjust his head up to fix the direction of its energy attack, but it was already too late. The wolf is now too high up and the creature’s last second adjustment only cause its attack to go up and away from the forest on an angle. The wolf then looks down at the Tree monster and proceeds to rush down with the aid of gravity towards the top of its head, yet the Tree creature was not done with defending itself, As the wolf goes down, hands shoot up, more hands then before. There must have been dozens of hands reaching to crush or smack the wolf. The wolf just releasing a quick energy attack did not have the current power to release another attack and thus it had no choice but to depend on Erin to protect them during their free fall. ____________________________ Chase slows down once Alex places his hand on his shoulder. He listens to his plan and nods his head in agreement. After Alex moves away from him to flank the side the general, he moves forward once more with his sword and shield ready to take on the tree bastard. He gets within slashing range and swings his blade, but its quickly stops once it hits against the force field of the general. Yet, his assault did not stop at a single swing. Chase rushes forward with his shield and sends his own chains to strike forward. Though his shield and chains did not bust through the shield, the combo did weaken the shield to the point that cracks begins to form on the surface. The General in response launches his staff forward like spear, where it strikes Chase’s shield dead center and the incurable force pushes Chase back a few feet, but he manages to land on his feet and proceed to move forward thanks to his chains wrapping around the shield at the last second, thus anchoring Chase and allowing him to stay within close proximity. His second bull rush move distracts the general from Alex’s moment as he continues to focus on destroying the opponent in front of him. The general points his staff once more in his direction, yet this time he releases a energy blast, which Chase responds by lifting his shield. The blast smacks his shield right into his armored torso, but as the attack begins to push him back, he digs his feet into the ground and is able to hold on with the help once again from his chains. Though he was not in a good position to attack, the drunk did cause the general to use his staff to deal with him, which prevented the tree master from using his staff to repair his weaken shield, along with not being able to use his staff against Alex’s next technique. Still, he could not afford to withstand the blunt of this attack for too long. “HURRY UP!” yells Chase. The general turns his head to see an incoming Alex and prepares to defend himself with one arm from whatever is about to do. Yet, his actions only further expose the staff away from his body as his focus was to protect himself, not knowing that Alex's aim is his staff.

With every blow, Stephan's arms felt more like lead. This battle was going nowhere. Nowhere good anyway. He may die here for the sake of the world... no, he couldn't. He hadn't passed on his gift. His line couldn't end here. His tendrils lashed out and hooked a beast's shoulder, then tugged, using the beast as an anchor to hurl him away. A blast shook the earth behind him, and spines flew past his body as he went flying. He continued this game of swinging and leaping, continuing until he reached the great beast where his boss fought. He needed to end this. The tentacles lashed for the temple beast's leg, and he was pulled up, one lash at a time.
___
Eve glanced around at the monsters surrounding her, annoyed that they payed her no heed. Her chest opened and she shot a gout of flame, spinning to strike as many monsters as she could. "Hey! Down here, dirt eaters! I'ma burn you and plant a flower garden to remind me what PANSIES you all were!"

Utilizing the remaining solar power gathered from the explosion, Aria teleports just out of range of the dragon's blasts, and summons multiple trees in the area to grow and latch onto the remaining dragons with vines, wrapping around the beasts and hopefully crushing them all into paste. She didn't have enough energy left to do anything near the level of blast she just made, so going back to crushing the dragons was a the smarter choice at the moment. Pointing her pistol at a nearby dragon still writhing in her tree's grasp, the HWIC president fires a small fire bullet at the dragon, which would explode in a fiery blaze that should burn the unfortunate dragon to ashes.
As she mopped up the remaining flying enemies, Aria couldn't help but feel a sense of...unease. As if she was being watched by somebody. Turning her attention to the tower, Aria begins to sprint towards the hideout, her blinding speed approaching the sound barrier as she weaves her way through the many trees in the area.
---
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! I hate thissssss!!!" Erin squealed as they rocketed into the air and avoided the tree beasts's massive laser beam. Why was she the only one helping bring this huge thing down?! She wasn't fit for this! Still gripping onto the wolf's fur for dear life, she spots the dozens of hands coming for them, and realizes that the wolf didn't have enough energy to defend them in this freefall. "Oh...fine! Here goes nothing!"
Mustering up all the magical energy she could, Erin summons a few hundred more flower petals to her already massive cloud, and sends them all downward at the hands. From the outside, it would appear as if a pleasant pink cloud was descending upon the hands, but in actuality, thousands of sword strikes were bombarding the hands as it rained down upon them, as if an entire army was rampaging through at once. Keeping up this many petals was draining the remaining magic energy from Erin, so in a last ditch effort, she summons just a few more petals and sends them straight for the creature's eyes. This should show the creep who's the boss around here!
---
Giving a small smirk at the way Chase gave him an opening, Alex rockets forward toward the general, tonfas at the ready. However, instead of going in for a strike against the general, Alex summons two chains to smash against the general's weakened shield to break a hole in it. These chains then lash out for the general's staff, wrap around the curved part on top, and yank back out of the shield again. Once out, Alex lunges upward out of his charge and grabs the staff, smashing into it with his tonfas once he points it at the ground. Pointed downward like this, the staff should explode into splinters, hopefully beyond repair. Once he was done, Alex glances back at the general.
"...you lose."
And with that, Alex summons 5 more chains to try and stab the general in the back of the legs, and two aimed for his helmet. He wanted this man who gave them so much trouble dead, now.

"ENOUGH!” said the lady of the Forest in complete rage. “I don’t know who this foolish woman is, but I will make her regret every issuing orders to MY FOREST!!” She begins to walk outside of the dark murky pond and as she places her front foot on the bank of the pond, the special guest in the room asks, “Where do you think you are going?” The lady didn’t turn her head to answer, “I need to go outside and take care of an annoying and ugly weed real quick." She takes one more step and removes herself completely from the pond. Yet before she could take another, the man appears right in front of her with his arms cross. “Don’t you think you should finish your assignment first?” asked the man. The blue demon begins to wrap its body around his lady and turns its head towards the man. The demon’s hostile eyes burn with dark blue flames as it opens its mouth, “YOU DARE TELL MY QUEEN WHAT TO DO!?” A pitch black aura begins to emerge from the creature’s body and expand towards the man. “Calm yourself! NOW!” ordered the Lady of the forest. At once the darkness retreats back into the blue creature’s body. “But my-" “Don’t question me! That goes for both of you. I will handle things my way. I will confront this wannabe tree Queen.” “Don’t you have generals that can handle that task? Besides, you shouldn’t be doing anything else besides nurturing.” said the man. This time however his normally relax demeanor begins to slowly fade away as his patience begins to run out with the tree spirit. The Lady however didn’t seem to care about the opinion of her superior. “Those generals are so utterly useless. I no longer care about them, in fact for wasting the power I so generously bestowed upon them-“ *She turns her head to face her favorite servant* “-Abdux, go to each of the generals and slaughter them.” “I will do as you say my lady. After I finish them off, I will join you to face the false one.” “No. You will go finish off all the other foolish imbeciles. I will destroy her by myself.” She turns to face the other person in the room, “Now, unless you plan on killing me, I suggest you get out of my way!” she said strongly. The man smiles for a second and reaches down for the handle of his sword. For an instance the lady of the forest experience tremendous fear, yet she attempts to hide her angst and reinforce her composure. The man immediately begins to laugh at the efforts of the lady to try to appear strong. He walks back to the wall as he continues to release a few bursts of laughter. As he leans on the rocky surface of the cave, he finally manages to speak properly, “Fine. Do whatever you want. The corruption of the tainting flower has already matured. It will only take another 10 minutes at beast for the actual tree to blossom and release the corruption. I suppose you can enjoy yourself in the meantime.” The lady proceeds forward with her companion. The demon looks carefully at his master’s face and remains silent about the amount of sweat dropping from her face. __________________________________________ The Temple beast releases a huge roar and the massive tree creatures that Stephen has been fighting against all this time respond to their comrade’s cry. A dozen of so of the tree creatures begin to climb up the temple creature’s leg and start to chase Stephen. One even gets close enough to be within arm’s reach of the lad. It hand swings over its head and begins to come down on Stephen’s position. Yet, the hand was not flat at all. Instead, the creature’s hand is cover completely in spikes. Each one bigger than the boy’s body. The hand comes down fast and should the he evade the attack, the creature will just repeat the process over and over again as they further climb up the temple creature’s leg. All the while, more tree creatures will caught up to them very soon. Meanwhile the remaining nearby tree creatures are too busy trying to smash the metal lady, who set a few of them on fire. Yet, the flames did nothing to stop the ones on fire from charging Eve. Though their healing factor repairs the damage from the flames, the spread of the fire is too fast for the creature’s healing factor. Still, what little time they had left, they decided to use it to crush the person, who has is burning them to death. The tree creature on fire lunge forward with their massive limbs coming down, while the other creatures, the ones that are not on slowly turning into ashes, fire off numerous spikes around her position, so that if she avoids the blows of the tree monsters coming at her directly, she will have to face a countless number of spikes. Yet, as the creatures focus their attention on Eve, they forgot to handle the other spirits wolves by them. Slowly, a large number of tree monsters surrounding Eve turn into little pieces as small units of wolf spirits strike. This allows a small safe zone, that is free from any tree spikes, to form right behind the wild hunt leader. ___________________________________________ Erin’s petals slice up the titan’s eyes and the massive tree monster screams in pain. Seeing his chance, the Spirit Wolf begins to twist his body and transform its appearance to match a massive whirlwind of destruction. The powerful strike comes straight down on the giant tree and begins to tear right through the gigantic’s creatures head. The Spirit wolf continues to rip downwards until it reaches deep inside the creature’s body. From there it begins to attack in all direction as it begins to destroy its opponent from the inside out. Aria’s familiar relentless assaults would have been nothing to its opponent had the anti-healing properties of the spirt wolf’s aura. The tree monster’s eyes have fully recovered by the time the spirit wolf has entered its main body, yet everything else was not healing. This causes the creature to panic and not knowing any other method, the creature’s hands turn into massive spike pulls and it fires thousands upon thousands of spikes per a second into its own body in an attempt to destroy its opponents before they can destroy him from the inside. The Spirit wolf manages to evade most of the attacks, but a few spikes skim its body. With one spike coming as close as a few inches from turning Erin into small chunks of meat. Not wanting to risk their death, the spirit wolf releases another energy attack and creates a crater leaving outside the tree creature’s body. The Spirit Wolf rushes and leaps outside the hole just as a single spike pierces its leg. The wolf grunts, but quickly uses its unique ability to ignore both the pain and the affects of the damage in order to land on the ground. As the wolf turns to face its foe for another go, a large amount of blood flows out of its wound. The creature takes a few short steps before going full sprint at the creature and once more avoids thousands of spikes as they rain down on the spot where they had just landed on. ___________________________________________ By the time the general figure out what Alex was trying to do, it was already too late. His staff breaks apart into hundreds of pieces, which causes him immense anger. “NOOOOOOOOOOOO!” His frustration fuels his power and he erupts a powerful energy wave, yet without his staff, his attacks are no longer as powerful as they were before. The energy wave only manages to push away the chains, giving him enough time to try to deliver a blow against Alex. “YOU WILL PAY!!!! YOU WILL SUFFER!!!!! YOU WILL DIEEEEEEE!!!!!” He gathers his remaining energy into a fist as he prepares to obliterate Alex. As his fist comes down, he suddenly feels a strange sensation. His blow stops within inches of Alex’s face as his vision changes.. Slowing the world begins to title every more slightly sideways. “Wha…!” Then quickly his vision descents downwards until he could see the dirt right next’s to his opponent’s fight. He turns his head and the truth was too shocking. Standing behind his body was Abdux. “And this makes four.” the blue demon said in its full form. The general tries to asks the demon what the fuck was going on, but before he could his body erupts into hellish blue flames. And just as quickly as the flames appear, they disappear. Leaving nothing behind. Chase remains speechless about the appearance of Abdux. He was barely able to see the man arrive and slice the general in half. He looks closely at the recent arrival and tries to read his soul. At once he figures out two things. First, this guy was not here to help them, but rather kill them. And two, this guy is a lot more powerful than the general with his staff. He brings up his sword and swings it down at the new foe, but before his blow could land, it was stop by the creature’s wing. “You are going to need to do better than that Chaos’ pet.” The creature wings expand outwards, creating a shockwave powerful enough to launch both Chase and Alex towards the edges of the temple’s shields. Then the entire area begins to change. Blue flames erupt from the ground and hit the top of the temple’s shield. From there, they spread to cover the entire shields in a coat of the blue flames. Then suddenly like a light switch, the light of the world disappear and the entire temple was dark save for one source of light. Abdux's aura releases a sinister blue glow at first. Yet he quickly flexs his deadly aura a bit more and cranks up his light show. His aura begins to cause the air around him to burst into flames, which causes the whole place to become a few dozen degrees hotter. “Come. Let me show you inferior beings true power.”
___________________________________________ As Aria runs through the forest, a distance clap can be heard following her. Slowly it becomes louder and louder until a massive flower emerges out of the earth that stretches to the top of the trees. The flower turns around and blooms, which reveals the lady of the forest sitting on stop. The Lady of the Forest continues to clap a few more times in mockery as she looks down on Aria. “Congratulations. Its not everyday someone receives the honor of being killed by the Queen herself.” The flower bends down to the ground and the Lady of the Forest steps off the plant and onto the ground. She examines Aria with a look a subtle hatred and approaches her very slowly with her hand on her staff. “Before we start, I would like to know the name of the person that I plan I to feed my children with.”

Slowing down once she heard the clapping, Aria stops to find a massive flower emerging from the ground, carrying a woman who had an obvious aura of authority to her. This was indeed confirmed when she adressed herself as 'the Queen'. Placing her guns at her sides, the HWIC president stares down the Lady of the Forest with cold determination. She was taught to not show an inch of weakness to problematic diplomats when negotiating with criminal organizations, so she was good at projecting her own authority into this situation.
"Aria Miyata, president of the Hidden World Intelligence and Containment organization, and commander to hundreds of agents. You are in violation of multiple international laws, including; extortion, plotting terrorism, and many counts of murder. Call off your troops, and you will be given a fair trial in an international court. Refuse, and I'll have to stop you with lethal force." Pointing her pistol at the Lady, Aria places a tennis ball sized red cartridge into it, and locks it into place. If she was going to fight someone who also controlled plants, she needed to use fire.
"You have ten seconds to decide."
---
Being stunned into silence by the spike coming so close to killing her, Erin remains almost completely quiet as they made their way through the monster. Once they popped out, she finally breathes a sigh of relief.
"Phew, glad that's ov-WHY ARE WE GOING BACK?!" Erin yells as the wolf takes off once again towards the tree monster. She knew that the wolf was injured, and the giant tree now had a giant hole right in the middle of it. Just what is it going to take to kill this thing?! "Hey! Can you jump up to it's head? I think destroying that may kill it!" Erin actually had no idea if that would work or not, but it seemed to be in pain when she attacked it's eyes. So maybe that's the secret?
---
Alex smiled, watching as the general madly ran at him with his fist. He brought his own fist back to clash with him wearing his tonfas...but his opponent seemed to stop at the last second. Glancing to the side, the HWIC Enforcement captain lowers his smile as he observes the new arrival, sizing him up. He was obviously more powerful than the previous general, able to cleave right through him in one strike. However, he noted that the general was now much weaker than before, now that his staff was gone. Taking a cue from the previous general, Alex summons a network of chains to anchor his legs into the ground as Abdux released his shockwave. Once that was over, the scenery began to change; the temple became shrouded in darkness, the room temperature had risen significantly, and the main light source came from the purple flames emanating from the demon's body.
Readying his tonfas, Alex turns around and walks backwards toward Chase. "Get up, I'm going to need your help again. This one seems stronger, but I don't see a shield on him like the last one. So if you can run at him, I will summon my chains to hold back his attacks and give you an opening. I'll come in behind you to land some blows as well. Ready?" Regardless of what Chase said, Alex stopped whispering and began concentrating on the area where the purple fire was coming out of. Instantly, a storm of chains erupts out of the ceiling and the ground, wrapping themselves around the monster's head, arms, legs, and chest hopefully. Then, Alex sprints off toward Abdux, trying to circle around so he could land a harsh blow to the back of his head. He put much more weight into this swing, and had enough power behind it to send a small car flying backwards.

Stephan's huge eyes caught the sweeping hand in its periferal vision and instantly he let go of the wall, landing on the monster's face. His wrist blades had shrunk to better handle the wall, and he punched with them now, aiming for the creature's eyes. If he could drop it, it would likely knock all the others beneath it down as well.
___
Allen's eyes went wide when he saw his father climbing the massive leg of the temple beast. He looked around, but nobody he knew was near. He grit his teeth and took a step down the hill. He was directly disobeying orders... He glanced back, but knew he couldn't just let his dad die. He ran towards the temple, making the fog creep up the monster's leg and cloud the smaller beast's vision.
___
Eve smiled when the wolves showed up and walked back to get out of direct confrontation, letting them do the work while she scanned the landscape. She saw the flower erupting from the ground in front of Aria in front of the great beast. Hm... that or the temple? Something crazy was going on up there. She glanced back and forth indecisively.

The Spirit Wolf continues to travel all around the terrain and during each second a new volley of spikes rains down from the titan tree creature. The massive wolf is clever enough to not only avoid each shower of spikes, but it also takes into account the location of allies, so that it can avoid causing the spikes to strike where friendlies are. As for the lady of the forest’s army, they seem to be immune to the impact of the spikes, or rather to be more precise, their bodies would simply reform after the spikes penetrated their bodies. As this continues, the Spirit’s wolf wound continues to bleed out excessively. Still, even with such a major injury, the mighty wolf goes forth with impressive speed towards the towering monster. As it comes closer, more and more wooden spikes fly down along with deadly hands strikes. The wolf climbs up a single arm and one more climbs upwards to the head, yet this time the wooden spikes explode all throughout the arms, which forces the wolf spirit to jump off. As it lands, it looks upwards and growls at its opponent.
___________________________________
As Stephen grabs onto the monster’s head, a new creature appears from behind him, almost as if it just teleported. This new creature would be consider tiny when compare with the foes that the man has been dealing with for a while now, yet this fresh face monster is well above the size of a human being. Standing at nearly 20 feet tall with an incredible muscle mass, the 10 ton beast with its thick black hide with various spikes uses the element of surprise to launch the first move. Taking less than tenth of a second, it grabs the green armor man's entire body with a single claw, then it throws Stephen with intense force. As Stephen’s body descends to the ground with increasing acceleration, the black beast easily breaks the sound barrier as it runs down the temple’s beasts leg on all fours. Before Stephen’s body could reach the ground, the dark creature moves towards its next target.
As Eve debates which place to go to, the beast that had just throw Stephen a moment ago, charges right at her from the side. A decent size portion of the ground to the left of her cracks and erupts into a trail of smoke due to the force of the creature’s approach. Yet, before the sound of the cracking terrain could reach Eve, the shadowy creature is already within reach and attempts to rip Eve in half with its powerful jaws. Meanwhile, the tree army has become confuse and blind upon the appearance of the heavy fog. The mindless creature begin to randomly fire off their wooden spears in all directions, yet the spirit wolves rely on their sense of smell to navigate through the fog as they tear through hundreds of blind tree summons. _________________________________
Abdux’s eyes focus on the incoming chains and without moving a muscle, the hellish blue flames around him burn brighter and hotter. Before the chains could even touch the demon, the chains burn into piles of ashes. As this occurs the beast remains perfectly still as it studies Alex’s movements. Even as he gets closer, the demon makes no moves to defend itself and even removes his hellish blue aura. He accepts the blow from Alex without so much as flinching. The man then turns his head to look down upon his opponent and says, “Pathetic.” Yet, his words do not seem to be aim at Alex himself. He turns his face towards the direction of Eve. Why did he bother to unleash that brute out here? I suppose it doesn’t really matter. He turns his head now towards the gigantic tree flower. After that blooms, I will be able to complete my mission. Though first I need to deal with these two. His gaze moves towards a rushing Chase as he studies his growing spirit energy. He continues to gather more spirit energy from the fallen, and has gather quite the amount. Yet, he doesn’t seem to be able to properly use the spirit energy. Though the way that he gathers spirit energy is pretty familiar to that curse…The demon’s eyes glow blue at it tries to read Chase’s soul. I see…so he is a Soulless One. However, he has also been marked by the Chaos Brand. What an unfortunate individual.
A few moments before, Chase follows Alex’s lead and moves in to unleash an attack against their new opponent. Even after seeing Alex’s attacks results in nothing more than a minor distraction at best, he continues to charge forward; however, this time he shifts right into his soul overdrive ability. Yet, unlike when facing the general from before, he consumes a lot more spirit energy to fuel his soul overdrive, which results in a much more powerful increase in his stats. His body begins to glow with a coat of reddish energy as he pushes forth and performs a barrage of punches towards the beast in front of him. His first punch lands with the force being capable of breaking apart a building. And thanks to his burst of increase power and speed, it is able to caught Abdux off guard for a moment and he lands a few clean strikes, yet the first punch only results in causing the dark blue creature to move slightly backwards with minor discomfort. Chase then lands a dozen more punches of equal strength to the first one before the demon begins to signs of some pain. The demon swings its own punch at the Chase, who barley evades the punch by a few inches, yet as the fist moves close to his face, the demon opens its hand and releases a massive blast of fire, that swipes Chase off his feet and into the temple’s new hellish fire shield. The flames burn slowly through Chase’s armor and by the time he leaps away from the walls, a good portion of his armor is mostly burn off or ruin beyond use at this point. He lost his helmet completely, most of his chest plate, and the armor surrounding his Mark of Chaos. His body also suffers heavy damages as well, yet he is able to heal them rather quickly thanks to his insane healing factor under the power of all the spirit energy he absorbed and continues to absorb. Though, even with his healing factor, he would not have been able to stay alive if he had remain in the fire for a second longer. As Chase stands back up with smoke surrounding his quickly recovering skin, his eyes flash bright green for a moment along with his mark. He looks forward and pulls out his sword and he prepares for another encounter while he asks Alex, "What now?" __________________________________
The lady of the forest looks at Aria and begins to laugh at her offer. After laughing for a few seconds, she casually walks forward and says bluntly to Aria, “You seem to misunderstand something here. It is not I who is violating any laws here, but rather you and your race of monsters. The laws of humanity are nothing in comparison to the laws of nature. And your species is nothing more than a disease that must be cleanse from the face of this world.” She looks at Aria with a look of pure animosity as she continues to say, “But somehow it wasn’t enough for your kind to simply destroy and exploit nature for personal benefit, now you even dare to enslave my children with your manipulation!” She points her staff at Aria and the whole forest section around then is suddenly home to hundreds of new giant flowers that unleash a heavy dense yellowish green cloud all around them. The huge cloud covers everything within a miles radius with a ton of deadly chemicals that makes battery acid appear as threatening as room temperature water in comparison. Any normal person would have been turn into bones in less than a second. Even Iron would dissolve in a few seconds, yet the cloud seems to have no affect on the forest itself and its residents. “Let’s see how you deal with this!.” She lifts her staff and the plants begins to raise much higher and grow a lot bigger than before. As the plants continue to produce the dangerous death gas, they continue to stretch and evolve until they are the sizes of skyscrapers. The plants start to loop and twist around the area to form a massive sphere. Then, from the vines and leafs of these unique plants emerge numerous basketball size fruits, which grow at a rapid rate. Once each fruit is fully grown, it will fall to the ground at the size of a house and deliver a condense acid explosion that would be able to melt through steel, while it releases super dense seeds at high speeds in all directions. Before long, a few of these house size fruits begin to rain down on Aria’s position.

Eve decided on a target. Time to go outdo Aria! She turned to the flower and was about to go until the new beast whipped her off the ground to tear her in half. Her reaction was instant, her chest splaying open like a starfish and flamethrower blasting a gout of death.
___
Stephan didn't even see it coming, keeping his eyes on the monster he sat upon's hand. One moment he was prepared to spring, the next he was snatched up. He just had a brief flash of a spiny carapace before he was hurtled straight down. The suit reacted on its own within an instant, tendrils lashing to hook diagonally in the temple beast's leg. Using the momentum of the throw, he pivoted and hurtled back up. The tentacles kept striking and with dozens of times the speed as before, he reached the top. He wasn't giving up so easily, but it looked like that beast had.
He ignored the pain in his body caused by the pain of such sudden acceleration and looked at the scene below. He saw nothing but flame in the temple's space. And not normal flame. Nucleus didn't like magic, and he could already feel it drawing away. At it was, it looked like he couldn't get in. He lunged back off the temple and began to fall. The nucleus responded, growing a membrane spreading to the tip of his tendrils. He glided with precision granted by his flexible new wings, heading right down where the great beast was attacking the strange woman. He folded the wings back and down he dove, foot first at its face.
