Appearance:
Eustace is a tall man with a willowy build. His complexion is pale white and his hair blonde and straight, often hidden by a variety of extravagant hats he wears according to the occasion. Eustace tends to match his outfits, often choosing heavy leather and suede garments in darker colors that contrast with his complexion.
History:
Writing horror novels can be a difficult endeavor. The only way to properly convey the excitement of being face to face with a creature never seen before is to experience it in the flesh. Eustace has perfected his writing method by facing these creatures for hundreds of years, unaware he is already part of the dead.
Personality:
Eustace is not a people person, usually staying away from strangers unless he absolutely has to interact with them. He often appears to be fearless, but he has a lot more common sense than what anyone would expect of him, jumping into a fight only if he has the odds in his favor. Both sarcastic and cunning, Eustace prefers to interact with people who are at least somewhat smart.
Powers:
Undead- Eustace died victim of a curse hundreds of years ago, he is now a zombie who can take massive amounts of damage thanks to his unnatural condition.
He does not bleed and does not need to eat, but still dies if his head is severed or destroyed.
Spectre- Eustace can become ethereal for a few seconds, flying and letting attacks go through while he is in that state.
After using this power, he is forced
Curse- Eustace empowers any weapon he touches with necrotic energy, allowing him to harm the undead. His weapons in turn can also become ethereal when he becomes a spectre.
Gear:
Reaper’s Scythe- A large jet black scythe made for reaping, it has a long reach suited for medium range combat.
Repeater Crossbow- A modified crossbow that can shoot bolts in rapid succession.
Dark Sword- An ink black blade made by Goths in the 4th century, the blade is designed for thrusting and slashing, excelling in close quarters combat.
