Ciara is an ambitious woman with a strong desire to grow stronger. Even as a young kid, her goal was to become as good a fighter as her father, an ex-professional HWBC fighter. Her parents supported her, despite the fact she's a bit of a klutz. After being cursed by a fae she angered by accidentally kicking a baby raven, her ambition only grew stronger since she interpreted the creature’s chant to mean she has to reach the first rank to break the curse. Thus, she is always ready to spar, to train, and to receive tips.

Ciara’s experience left her both with a superstitious attitude and a fear of birds, or at least of being near birds lest she repeat her accident again. She spends her spare time primarily enjoying music, particularly music without vocals.


Ciara is a petite girl with light blond and golden eyes. She prefers wearing light and comfortable clothes such as short jean shorts, a loose tanktop, and a zip-up sweatshirt. Her clothes are typically gray with splashes of brighter colors like red. When expecting a fight, she will usually ditch her jacket and wear more tight-fitting clothes, and she will tie her shoulder-blade length hair into a ponytail or even a bun. Her unassuming stature and choice of clothes hide an athletic build, aside from the legs she’s very proud of. Around her neck she typically wears a cross that is supposed to stave away curses and other maladies.


Being the daughter of an ex-pro fighter who supported her ambitions, Ciara has trained from a very young age. The training payed off, making her far stronger and more durable than a regular human and she became very skilled with a sword. But a true boost to her power came in the form of a curse, a punishment for an accident that causes her to transform into a ravenformed creature when struck by wood or when her emotions get the better of her.

Swordsmanship – Ciara’s primary strength. Trained since childhood by a pro, she uses western swordsmanship with a longsword passed down to her by her father.

Raven form – When overly excited or struck by wood, Ciara becomes the ravenformed. She becomes tall and black and feathered like a raven, red orbs for eyes, a lightly curved beak, and long talons where her feet should be. A small blessing are her wings, coming from her shoulders like a cape but not replacing her arms, and an upright posture. Her stats are dramatically increased in this form, but she also becomes easy to distract with shiny objects and cannot speak with people who don’t understand birds. To turn back, she must spill water on herself. Luckily for her, blood contains water.


Losgathlann – A sword Ciara received from her father whom used it through his entire career as a HWBC fighter. It gets its name from the charred color of the blade.

Water flask - A small flask containing water. Useful for when she transforms, but only contains enough water for two transformations, max.
