-You are a fool! – Callis angrily snapped at Dan, too worried to care about protocol. –You do not know the horror you are helping to unleash to this world! - The Beast Knight clenched his fist in front of his chest while glaring at the Pink Comet. –I already seen my world almost overrun by demoniac creatures, I will not allow you or anybody else help summon similar horrors to this land.- The Lost Knight took a deliberate step forward as his blue eyes almost sparked with anger and determination, it was clear that Callis was ready for a fight if things went to that extreme. –I will only say this once, get away from the shrine or I will have to defeat you.-
-*cough* you’re an idiot Cementerio-dono *cough*- A voice echoed in the forest, its source near Crow. Jin, the Half Tengu JHWAB Agent who was resting in Reiji’s house last time we saw him, limped towards the Gunslinger using his cane to support his weight. –You were *cough* duped by Fukuma…- The Wind Caller collapsed against a tree, sliding down as his wings took pieces of barks while going down. –You *cough* can feel it, right? *cough*- Jin looked around and with his meager remnants of power he raised a small gust of wind, that slowly drifted towards the Pillar of Light.
-*cough* The Natural Energy is being *cough* used as fuel…- The Half Tengu breathing was getting heavier and weaker by the second. –I came *cough* to you as you are the only one here that might *cough* get it…- Jin glanced at the peak in the middle of the mountain. –Fukuma-dono *cough* is using the Natural Energy of the island to open a gate *cough* a gate to the realm of the creature you just fought *cough* creatures that almost destroyed Japan 30 *cough* years ago… creatures Reiji Fukuma *cough* helped to seal…-
The JHWAB Agent closed his eyes, almost completely exhausted. –The Gainen *cough* are coming… *cough* you need to get to the mountain shrine *cough* to stop them before it’s *cough* too late.- And after saying that the Half Tengu fell asleep, too tired to continue speaking.
-Yo, Hernandez-kun thanks for the lift!- Goemon happily thanked the Earth Shaker while he was mounted MMA-style over Soul Heat and punched him with a grim cadence. –Just give me a second to finish here- He added as he lifted the creature by the neck with one hand and changed his stance. The ground under him cracked as the pressure of his Ki swelled around him. It might be a momentary illusion but for an instant Goemon’s body seemed to get bigger, or maybe it was just his presence as he was prepared to do something.
The Ki surrounding the Karate Star seemed to explode outwards but seconds afterwards that flash of blinding light was reduced to a light luminescence and started moving towards his free hand. The energy crackled on his hand, like golden lighting, and as his fingers started to clench one by one the light grew brighter. The Gainen Soul Heat, finally awake after Goemon’s assault, struggled to release the Martial Artist grip on its neck, but it was to no avail, the Karate Star physical might shouldn’t be underestimated.
Soul Heat started kicking Goemon on the side, but the lack of a proper footing reduced the kicks power and they hit against a wall of well trained abdominal muscles. It hurt a lot, but Goemon gritted his teeth and worked through it as he was ready to release his signature move, inherited from his late master. –TRY SURVIVING THIS, MONSTER! YAMAKOROSHI SEIKEN!!!!- The Ki on his hand reached critical mass and The Karate Star punched the Gainen directly on the middle of the chest, flooding the creature’s body with Ki that violently sought to leave the innards of Soul Heat, following any crack inside the creature.
As the Gainen wasn’t fully formed, or at least not properly enough, as it lacked a correct Form Giver, the weaknesses inside were plenty for Goemon’s technique to exploit. Golden cracks surged from inside out Soul Heat, making it explode. The Gainen turned into red flames that flew towards the shrine and enhanced its radiance and power. The Karate Star jumped from the pillar towards the top of the cliff. If Jose was close enough he would notice the banged up state Goemon was in, with a missing tooth, dozens of bruises and his knuckles peeled off, with blood dripping from the hand he used his technique with.
The Mountain Slaying Inheritor spitted in the ground with disgust and muttered something in the lines of “still not good enough” as he looked as his bleeding hand. He then realized somebody was with him and his expression turned jovial. –Thanks for the assist Hernandez-kun, if that creature didn’t fell into the water I might not have won this fight. Your assistance was paramount for my victory…- The Karate Star extended his hand to shake it with Jose.
Sid’s attack had no effect, the blade raised a hell lot of sparks, but it didn’t managed to slice through the durable Core Form of Meteor Impact who was ready to attack again, another punch capable of making a hole through Sid if connected. But as the creature was readying its swing a voice from above the ravine shouted. –CALAMITY SLICE!- and a blast of purple energy flowed through Sid, entering through his back and exiting from his blade jumping towards the Gainen standing on the river.
Yami Kizuato, the Half-Gainen of Slicing was coming to the rescue and to that purpose he used one of his Conceptual attacks, one that would use Sid’s previous attacks. As a wielder of the <Slice> concept and son to the Blade Slice Gainen, Yami had a connection to swords and their intended effects. So he channeled his powers through Sid to alter the result of his previous attacks, transferring a fraction of one of the Gainen’s main skills, the Conceptual Optimization, turning the Kick Master previous attacks into the best version of them.
This worked just as Yami landed with the stab and the slice Sid realized before showing an effect. The stab was only a crack but the slice creating a well defined ravine in the creature chest, making it bleed liquid burning metal into the River below. Meteor Impact didn’t know pain, but the sudden twisting of its chest was restraining the movements of his arms, as being a single unified material in all of its body also caused that bending it partially had rippled that affected the rest of the body.
-No time to explain right now kid, you attack low and I’ll attack high hit it as hard as you can with that sword of yours.- Yami shouted an order to Sid, whose sword was being enhanced by Yami, covered in a purple aura similar to the Half-Gainen. As he shouted the battle plan Meteor Impact Chest was already healing.
-Puppet? I was a puppet?- The Old Master roared in anger, trying to get up from his prone position, fighting against the strands surging from his body, but physical strength meant nothing in the Gainen Space and his willpower, as great as it was, was clouded by confusion, melancholy and sadness, while his opponent’s was unwavering. –Don’t strain yourself Fukuma-dono, you aren’t a young man anymore… Well neither am I, but I don’t require that much maintenance.- Kuro-san slowly walked towards the downed Master, with Melancholy Memory, his Bound Gainen, behind him.
-You were a useful pawn… no… I would say a useful rook. - The Former Criminal Emperor of Japan praised the Master while insulting him. –Without your help I wouldn’t have found out about the Medals, or the perks they posses, not to mention all the useful contacts I got from you. - Reiji, utterly confused, just managed to ask. –What? - But Kuro-san ignored him and continued. –But your main role was vital for my goals, as I needed you to open the Gateway, since there wasn’t anybody else who could. And for that purpose I sent Gen Shishioh towards your island and your life.-
-It wasn’t hard to slip the information to him during that prison break more than a year ago using a criminal as courier… or slowly etching my way into your subconscious to help you see Gen more like you were back in the day of the GSTai. - Kuro-san kept walking around Reiji while talking, creepily not showing any emotion or adding any intonation to his words. – You trained him, you sent him to fight the battles I wanted to and you gave him a medal, all under my control, but truly the thing that helped me the most was the only thing you did on your own.-
Reiji opened his eyes in shock incapable of uttering a single word. Kuro-san, in other hand, had a lot to say. –You tried to flood him with your antiquated values and ideals. Friendship? Comradeship? You almost made my job too easy, with him making efforts to join up with more people, sacrificing for them. If he hadn’t blocked the attack in Orasul Sange on his own it would have been much more difficult to arrange his conceptual wounds, the last thing I needed to direct your thoughts in the right direction.-
-Thank you Fukuma-dono for all your hard work until know, but true workers never rest…- Energies started to flow around them and gathered in one spot, taking a vague shape that Reiji seemed to recognize. –Yes, I brought an old friend of your to help you in your last task… why don’t you greet him?- The silhouette turned into energy again and entered Reiji’s body, who contorted in pain as the energy tried to leave… trying to use him as a “Gate”… - It doesn’t matter if you keep me inside brat, all your friends are going to die… I’m not fuckin’ listenin’ to yer crap! You don’t believe me? Can’t you feel it? Fuckin’ feel what? The Gate opening, the first true Gainen to come for the first time in more than 20 years… What the fuck is a Gainen? You truly are a dense brat aren’t you?

Dan just looked over Callis' head. No green flare. He stepped forward just a bit, hiding the shrine behind his body. He sighed and looked Callis in the eye. "I've killed too many to let the opportunity to save one pass me by." He slid into a battle stance. "And I won't let you take that from me."

Jose grabs the victor's hand, while he studies his injuries. He didn't seem to be in the best shape, but nevertheless Goemon looks to be fine enough to be able survive to fight another day. Hopefully, the Gainen were the only foes that they had to face today. Yet, looking back at the heavens and studying the more vibrate glow coming from the beacon of lights from the shrines, he should feel that everything was going occurring to plan right now. But something didn't feel right to him. This feeling in his stomach.... "Your welcome." he finally said to the man. "I didn't do too much, but I'm glad I was able to assist you."
Jose being curious about the finishing technique that was just could not resist the urge to ask. "I'm wondering... what was that move you used at the end? Did it involve using the power of Ki?" He come here after all to improve himself and become stronger, and he believe more and more everything he witness the significance of Ki, that the first significant step to reaching his goal was to learn and develop a talent to use Ki.

THE TRUTH BEHIND THE RITUAL
Crow was in complete shock and horror as Jin revealed the truth behind the ritual that Reiji had asked him and others to partake in so that they can help Gen. As the half-tengu slumped down Crow rushed over grabbing him to make sure he didn’t hurt himself. “That insane bastard! I warn him before he started this ritual that toying with the forces of Nature is never wise. And to be using it in such a way he will doom us all!” As the JHWAB agent spoke of Reiji unleashing more monsters like the one he just defeated the sounds of the other battles echoed through the forest. While Crow wasn’t entirely sure what these monsters were, he had a feeling and knew for a fact that unleashing more of them on the world would be a nightmare. Not to mention Mother Nature would surely take her revenge for mortals using the force of nature in such a way. As a Gunslinger he was taught that to abuse Natural Energy was a cardinal sin as the earth provided all that was needed to those who paid it respect. The Rail-gun understood this more than ever and not had a feeling he had missued the powers of Nature back in Osaka and was paying a dear price for it.
It suddenly dawned on Crow why Jin and probably other agents had been sent to intercept them before they could reach Sakurajima, why this island had been so guarded and why others had been turned. The JHWAB weren’t trying to stop them at all they were trying to save them! Jin spoke his last words about going to the mountain shrine to stop them before pasting out. “I understand now partner. I apologize for our fight earlier and my ignorance. I will stop this ritual no matter this I swear on my word as Gunslinger.” Crow grabbed his jacket and placed it over Jin before checking his ammo supply his silently cursed, it was very low probably about 13 bullets left he would make every shot count. Gunslingers do not waste fruitlessly. Before Crow took a step he had to face the realization what stopping the ritual might mean, this was meant to save his friend Gen it was the whole reason he came this far to begin with. If he stopped the ritual he could mean that Gen would not recover and he could die. The weight of this decision hung on Crow and rooted him to ground but he knew in his heart of heats it must be done. There would be another way to save Gen and if the roles were reverse he knew Gen would not risk the lives of millions to save 1. Again Gunslingers did not waste! The Heir of the Gunslinger loaded Quicksilver and began to make his way to the center of the island.
While the cowboy moved through the forest following his gunslinger instincts, honed tracking skills, and Nature Energy enhanced senses he could feel several things. He saw a few other pillars grow in intensity meaning those fights had finished and meaning the ritual was nearing its conclusion. He felt the island vibrate as if the very earth was being moved and shaped (by Jose’s powers), and most importantly he felt he felt an eerily ominous feeling in the air. This whole ritual had taken a dark turn and it seemed like the environment was reacting to something everything seemed tainted and spoiled. As Crow came to center of the island he found a cave located at the best of the mountain the aura emitting from the cave was this epicenter of darkness, of negativity, and twistedness. The Gunslinger moved towards the cave his fingers just barely touching Quicksilver, ready to draw on his iron, shoulder the situation call for it. Crow called out into the cave as he entered. “Reiji! Master Fukuma! Gen! Anyone there? Master Fukuma we need to talk this ritual needs to end! The Tengu told me everything! I know the truth about the ritual and there must be another way to save Gen!”

Bracing for the undoubtedly horrid punch, Sid was surprised to see that his strike had actually cut a hole in his chest! Fuck yeah! Oddly delayed reaction, but he's going to take it anyway. But before he could enjoy his small victory even further, another person joined the scene and was telling him to attack low while he attacked high. "While I could make an on top joke, I won't dude. Let's do this!"
Bringing his sword back, Sid couldn't help but notice that his sword was now covered in a purple aura, instead of it's normal yellow, red, orange or white colors. Was his sword emo now? Either way, he dashes forward, putting as much power as he could behind this one horizontal strike across the Gainen's legs and waist. Hopefully the other dude could pierce this thing's armor as well, otherwise this monster would just punch down and make them both into human paste. Which he doesn't want at all, as he still has stuff to do after this!

Both Sid and Yami connected their attacks, mostly thanks to the slowness of Meteor Impact. Yami attacked using his bare hands covered in the same energy that he used to enhance the Kickmaster’s sword. Their attacks reached the surface and multiplied thousand-fold all overlaying on the same spot as the Half-Gainen shouted. –CALAMITY STORM!!!!- Their attacks chopped the durable Gainen in pieces that vanished into glittering dust which floated towards the pillar and like the others the light got enhanced shining with burning radiance around them.
Yami turned to face Sid with anger on his face. –You don’t know what the hell you were doing, now just because I had to save your sorry ass this will make my work more difficult.- The aura on Sid’s blade vanished with a gesture from Yami’s hand as the Half-Gainen turned his back on the Kickmaster and added. –You better stay put here and be a good boy, I need to have a talk with my uncle and you aren’t welcomed.- He glared at Sid over his shoulder. –Once I get that sorted out you and every other battle happy idiot in the island that came to help my uncle will be arrested and thrown into a JHWAB cell until the end of WHOA!-
-Nothing to worry about kiddo, I got worse wounds while filming “Fists of Rage 4: Vengeance of the Guardian”- He said while calmly taking his hand off Jose’s grip. The Karate Star searched inside his pockets and took a roll of tape sealed on a plastic container, using it to cover his wounds with the clear expertise of somebody who has already done this a thousand times. As he did the Earth Shaker continued talking to him and Goemon didn’t like that Jose was diminishing his own efforts, so he told him. –You were of great help, I ain’t smart, at least not enough, to realize that I could have used the Ocean to defeat him… I think I got too caught in the fight, sometimes it happens.-
The Karate Star finished tapping his fingers tightly and as he placed the container back on his pocket he answered Jose’s question. –Yes, this was technique that requires a lot of Ki and training is part of the style I learnt from my master. - A moment of sadness crossed the Large Martial Artist face before resuming. – Who on his day learnt it from Fukuma-daisensei (Great Teacher).- Goemon punched the air with the same stance as he used against Soul Heat. –I channel my Ki, the energy obtained from training my body beyond human limits, into my fist, transferring it into the monster and I fuck him up inside out.-
-Allow this to happen…- The Beast Knight took a fight stance, both hands ready to defend. –And you will exchange a single life for the whole World. - Callis glared and snapped at Dan, clearly angry. –I fought alongside Gen Shishioh before, but I won’t put his life over the life of a whole World… If you can’t understand that then…- The Lost Knight took a deliberate step forward as he clenched his fists. –I’ll stop you here with my own hands.- Callis was ready to fight against the Pink Comet, but still hoped he could reason with him before it came to blows.
As Crow reached the entrance of the Cave something changed, anybody with enough training would perceive it, a subtle change in air pressure, the distant roar of something moving in their direction, or even a faint Ki signature incoming, but the Lighting Gunslinger, attuned to the Natural Energy, surely felt the sudden explosion of a Natural Energy source, as if something detonated deep inside the mountain. The release of power was beyond this world, steam cracking the mountain side in several locations almost as if the mountain was a large teapot.
And suddenly a powerful shockwave surged from the depths of the Mountain Shrine, knocking the Last Gunslinger off his feet and blasting him backwards into a tree, crashing with enough strength to leave the imprint of his body on the bark. A mighty roar echoed from inside the Cave and was followed by a mightier quake, which shook the ground in Sakurajima, making the trees nearby the Lighting Gunslinger rain leaves all over the place, incapable of maintaining them attached to the branches under the effects of such powerful tremor. As the earth went back to normal the sound of steps reverberating inside the Cave grew closer and closer.
The Half-Gainen tried to end his threat but a powerful blast of wind coming from the mountain almost knocked him down and it was followed by an Earthquake shaking the riverbed around them, making the pebbles at the bottom dance with the irregular quaking. –DAMNIT! IT’S TOO LATE!-
Goemon did the whole explanation with an almost childish smile and ample gesticulations, making him seem way younger than he really was. But his child-like demeanor stopped as he sensed something, at first it was only Ki, but soon even Jose would feel the ground shaking under their feet. –Something’s wrong with Fukuma-daisensei… I need to check it out. - And without more delay the battle weary Goemon rushed to the center of the island.
Far away from their position, in the middle of the island, a powerful shockwave reverberated in the mountain making the whole island shake, even where Callis and Dan were about to face off, as it shared the same platform with the rest of the island.
From inside the bowels of the Cave a creature emerged, a hulking figure clad in what seemed to be white armor. The creature had a passing resemblance with a humanoid lion, but seemed too alien and detached from any “human” trait as possible. Sharp claws and fangs, inhuman musculature that would make a body builder envious and small predatory eyes locked on the first thing in front him. That happened to be Crow Cementerio.
Wild Battle roared opening his stance and tensing his whole body. The powerful sound reaching the entire island, like a challenge to the people present in Sakurajima. As the last echoes of it faded another noise grew in power and resonance as the mountain behind the Gainen exploded in flames, releasing the magma sealed deep within it into jets of fire and sulfur. This was easily seen from all around the island, like a beacon of hellfire announcing the end of days.

THE UNFATHOMABLE BEAST EMERGES: COUNTDOWN TO DESTRUCTION
The Gunslinger slumped down off the tree that he was blasted into landing on the ground with a thud he coughed up blood violently, a sign that he more than likely received internal injuries from hitting that tree so hard. Crow slowly made it back to his feet his shirt had a few tears in it now and his skin had some shallow cuts from some rogue shrapnel. The explosion left a pestering ringing in his ears as he tried to comprehend what could have caused such a blast. “Master Fukuma? Gen? What in the name of the eight hells happen?” Crow staggered a bit regaining his footing as the ringing in ears faded away. The Super Charged Cowboy remembering feeling the near instantaneous swelling and erupting of Natural Energy come from within the cave. His NE tuned senses most likely saved his life as he was able to push off the ground with his back fight to be able to flow with the direction of the force of the explosion. As the ringing finally came to a stop Crow was able to sense the beast that emerged from the cave. The Gunslinger’s eyes widen in shock.
Despite having steel nerves and a cool demeanor Crow could still fear some terror as the monster emerged from within the cave. It was unlike anything Crow had ever seen let alone fought before as he took in every fear inducing detail of this behemoth the Gunslinger remembered Jin warning. Was this creature in front of him the first of many that would overtake this world, was this the herald of their destruction, a warlord from another dimension who over goal was carnage? “My god Master Fukuma have you doomed us all? What unearthly creatures are you willing to unleash?” When the Monster from the Mountain roared Crow didn’t just hear it he felt it. He felt his bones vibrate to the core and the air and ground tremble quiver (as if it were afraid as well). Birds flew into the sky fleeing the island as fast as they can looking to go to safer places far away from here. Even when the vibrations stopped Crow could still fear his hand shaking a few seconds longer. Then the island reacted to the roar of the terrifying beast. The volcano on the island erupted in a hellish display of magma and smoke, the ground began to tremble as if it too were panicking before this sight of Wild Battle. Crow took a stance against Wild Battle his cobalt eyes focused on the Behemoth of Battle. “I came to this island to help a friend…now I stand in front of a hellish monster on the brink of the world about to be overrun. I still wouldn’t want to be the one standing in front of me.”
The Heir of the Gunslinger smirked a bit and for a brief moment as the volcano spent sulfur and fire into the air he resembled Gen Shishioh, the friend he had come to save, eager to fight such a creature. “To protect those I care about I will fight you and a hundred more like you. I’ll fight until ever bone in my body breaks, every blood vessels bursts, every organ fails, and my gun shatters. You aren’t facing a man you are facing against the embodiment of a Storm that strikes down those with a furious bolt of lightning, You probably don’t even understand me so I will just say you this…You are facing the last possible person you wanted to see when you came from that cave!.” Despite knowing that using his Lightning NE could cause him more damage because of his actions in Osaka Crow had to risk it, he needed to converse every bullet he had left and hold nothing back in order to have a chance here. “Overcharge!” As Crow body’s surged with his powerful Natural Energy he immediately felt the drawbacks. The colors of the world faded more and more while a bitter copper taste filled his mouth. The Overcharged Gunslinger vanished with a burst of static electricity reappearing inches from the Gainen’s face his foot outstretched. Crow drove his heel into Wild Battle’s head for a powerful NE charged kick, then without thinking twice used his other leg to push off its overly muscular chest and flip backwards. The Rail-gun’s arm was stretched back and his hand was charging with NE. “Overcharge: Flecha!” As if he were Zeus, Crow threw his arm forward with all his might and released a lightning bolt like spear of NE at the directly. The Overcharged attack had enough power to fire an elephant extra crispy and could pierce through some of the toughest hides. With near uncanny agility Crow landed back on the ground despite the impressive combo he just pulled one could tell something was off. The Gunslinger could feel the very NE in him fluxing wildly and he was partially concentrating on just maintaining his Overcharged state. He wasn’t sure how long he could hold out and hoped some form of backup would arrive.

As Jose is listening to Goemon 's explanation and the more and more the karate star spoke, the more his interest increases for both the Yamakoroshi Ken and the overall concept of Ki. The young man was even about to ask if he could teach him the ropes a bit once this whole ritual business is over and done with, yet before he could ask him the question, the earth begins to shake violently. Jose looks towards the center of the island, which is the focal point of the current tremors that he is feeling. This doesn't feel right... is this what suppose to happen when the ritual is finish? He turns to hear his companion's comment and as Goemon runs to the center of the island, the exhausted earth manipulator decides to follow the concern man. Instead of using the earth to assist him with mobility, for that would consume too much energy for him currently, Jose ends up using his legs to run like a normal person, that is of course if a normal person was able to keep up with a car on the highway.
As he runs forward, he manages to caught up with Goemon and at the same time he begins to run right next to the big man, another massive event occurs. This time a volcanic eruption takes place. Jose momentarily stops in hid tracks as he feels the difference in the earth.....This occurrence is an omen. An omen that heralds the incoming of something truly dangerous. Even though he could not yet see the source of this calamity, his fear is extremely present inside him. His body stops breathing for a moment as he suffocates under the sudden violent pressure that is dropped on him. This feeling... he couldn't figure out exactly what he is currently experiencing at this moment, but it reminds him of whenever he sense the earth's power, yet this was something slightly different and darker than what he usually feels when he reaches out to grasp the strength of the earth. He closes his eyes and regains his composure before he continues to move his feet with both fear and determination in his eyes.
Eventually he arrives at the center of the island, while being close enough to spot a gigantic creature in powerful looking white armor. Jose couldn't comprehend what he is seeing right away. He takes him a few moments to register in his mind what his eyes are looking right at. The snake creature he was fighting before seem to be as threatening as an ant compare to the force of nature in white amor standing there before his very eyes. Soon, his looks over to the other person in the vicinity, Crow. The veteran bounty hunter seem to be producing an immense aura of lighting around his body. Yet, like himself, Jose could see that the gunslinger is not in the best condition possible. Besides, even if he was, could he really hold his own against such a fearsome opponent? Knowing that his fellow bounty hunter needed assistance, Jose rushes to Crow's side, while he manipulates the earth with each step he takes to reach Crow for as he is preparing his plan of attack.

Dan hesitated just the slightest as Callis readied himself. "What are you even talking-" He nearly lost his footing when the earth shook and a great plume of magma erupted behind his foe. He stared in shock. This volcano was active?! He backed away from Callis, stepping into surf painted with flame. He had faced fearsome threats in Osaka, but he couldn't punch a volcanic eruption! He paused on the edge of the ocean, torn between leaping into the sea and swimming to safety and something that slipped his mind. What reason did he have to stay? It was a moment before he realized most of the others were on the main island, maybe even all of them. He turned and lunged past Callis, taking advantage of the distracting nature of the events. He burst into the forest, stumbling over roots and bumps. He tried to remember where the others were, but nothing came to mind. Reiji would have to tell him.
He stumbled to a halt when he burst out of the smouldering forest and saw the beast standing before the cave. A being that looked the very definition of a warrior, ivory armor shining through the smoke. The spiked behemoth stepped forth, and Dan was an ant before a god. Dan grinned. There was no way this thing was friendly.

"Fuck yeah! Take that you magma prick!" Sid yells as he and Yami slash the Impact gainen into pieces. He had no idea why, but he felt that his sword was slicing more effective than ever before, even though he wasn't that injured just yet. After the gainen was gone, the lazy kickmaster began to tune out Yami's threats to send him to jail, yawning while doing so. "Yeah yeah yeah, broken rules or whatever. The furry dude said the same thing. Any idea where that Reiji dude is a..."
Sid stops as he felt the ground beneath him began to shake, as if some larger monster had been summoned as well. He initially thought that maybe the meteor dude had expanded into the ground below them, but soon realized that there was another, much larger ki source nearby that was shaking the island itself. What was that thing?! He couldn't see the beast yet, but he sure as hell could feel it's power and see the lava being summoned from the ground. Turning back to Yami, Sid yells down at the half-gainen.
"Hey dude! You seem to know what these freaks are! What the hell is that thing and how do I send it back to hell?!" Sid was an idiot, be he wasn't THAT much of an idiot. He clearly saw that he was outmatched, and needed to find some kind of weak point before charging in.

Long time ago, when Reiji fought alongside his comrades against the threat of the Gainen there was a time when they might had lost. Eiyu Shomei, the mad scientist who released the Interdimensional demons on a weekly basis to fight the GSTai decided to experiment using old blueprints left by his assistant long ago. He created a Gainen Medal, trapping a particularly powerful one he found while exploring the Gainen Space with the drones. Professor Shomei decided that the best course of action would be using a Form Giver with experience, so he faked an attack on Reiji and let him pocket the Medal.
Shomei was cunning and thanks to information one of his slaves gathered he knew that Fukuma was feeling isolated from the group as all of them were able to access their powers more fully than him and he felt useless. The young Reiji thought that another Medal could be the edge he needed and committed the mistake of trying to use to Medals at the same time with less than positive results. His negatives feelings, his thirst for power and desire for battle waked a great abomination into the world, one that the GSTai had difficulty to put down… Wild Battle, the Gainen created under the concept of untamed and infinite fights, without caring for anything else.
To say that Crow’s attack didn’t affect Wild Battle would be an understatement. The Massive Gainen blocked the Gunslinger’s kick with its forearm, almost as thick as a young tree and when the “Flecha” came crackling down from the skies Wild Battle lifted its massive clawed hand and opened it, receiving the Lighting strike directly on its palm, to no effect apart from a fleeting moment when smoke came out the undamaged skin of the creature. The Gainen took a step forward, the ground cracking just from the sheer weight of the creature. The light behind his eyes locked on Crow.
The creature didn’t see the world through normal eyes, it could only detect potential opponents, that seemed like figures of flames shining in a world of deep black shadows. Wild Battle charged towards Crow… better put he rushed at a speed at least equal to Crow’s overcharged state leaving behind golden after images of its body, a cascade of silhouettes moving behind it. The creature broke the floor as it advanced and crashed through a boulder as if it wasn’t there, launching a dozen of punches in Crow’s direction, each of them strong enough to pulverize the bones of the Gunslinger if they impacted.
Goemon arrived as the creature was charging with Jose behind him. As they reached this new battleground they would be able to see the lava starting to flow out of the mountain, drifting down the sides through old natural canals, eroded into existence by time and wind. Dan arrived a second later, as Wild Battle was punching and Callis would arrive soon, as he rushed behind the Pink Comet when he went inland.
-We can’t sent it back to Hell, because it didn’t came from there.- Yami spoke as he make a gesture for Sid to follow him. –These creatures are called Gainen, powerful interdimensional monsters that come to our word to feed on the energy of the living.- He kept advancing as the mountain in front of them spewed flames to the leaden sky. –They almost destroyed the world 30 years ago, but now my stupid uncle decided that the life of his disciple was more important than the world and he lost the gamble…- Yami flinched as he advanced, he could feel the Gainen Space oozing into the world, calling his Half with alluring orders, yet the Half-Gainen of Slicing resisted the call.
-We need to stop whatever that thing is, get my uncle out of the Gateway inside the mountain and finally take the Medals you and the other idiots he recruited placed on the shrines to cut the connection and close the gate.- Yami had a plan, his father and mother always explained it to him in case anything went wrong… but he never thought he would have to put it in motion… specially against his uncle.
In the ever-changing void of the Gainen Space Reiji Fukuma was on his knees. The Old Master was defeated, his empty eyes looking down, his shoulders slouching, his callous hands opened and hanging lifeless at the sides of his body. Kuro-san looked down on him as Melancholy Memory kept playing its Sonata of Memories, using the Master memories as if they were strings. –Fukuma-dono, your memories, your very being is just another tool at my disposal, I just needed you to fulfill your goal and you made it, for that I’m grateful.- He spoke with carefully crafted words, giving a false sense of compassion. But that changed as he leaned down, shadows covering his face.
-But I can’t let you free, your dance isn’t over and the stage is still set for the next act, one that you will kickstart… in matter of minutes.- With that ominous prophecy as his last words Kuro-san slowly left the Gainen Space towards his exit. Melancholy Memory changing shape into a 30 years old asian man with gruff exterior, black hair, green eyes and half beard dressed in traditional clothing.

Jose watches the battle take place and is dumbfound by the performance from the Gainen. He knew from the stories from other bounty hunters that Crow is a rather impressive, yet, this creature seem to be able to treat the Gunslinger's attacks as if if Crow was a gentle breeze against a mountain. As he comes closer, the ground begins to shake one more and the lava begins to pour down towards him and Goemon. Putting his hands out and quickly making an upwards motion at his sides, the earth ends around them and creates a new path for some of the the lava to follow. As he separates the lava around their bodies through shifting the ground, he couldn't help but think that this might be his last few moments, then quickly changes his mentality as he gets within range of the massive walking disaster NO! I'm not going to die here!
He digs his feet into the earth and springs out with massive leaps forward as he gets closer towards Crow and his opponent. Though before he could do anything, the beast rushes Crow, causing the ground to crack underneath his moment. Then quickly moves through a boulder as if it wasn't there. Yet, he could use the broken pieces of rubble. He opens his hand and closes it quickly, which commands the small pieces to crash into the Giant Gainen. Jose knew this could not stop the charging beast, he could only hope that he could slow the creature enough to assist his fellow bounty hunter. As the rocks move inwards, he also uses his other hand and pushes his palm forward , which causes the earth touching the Gianen's feet to slide away from Cow in another attempt to further assist the Gunslinger.

Sid nodded at Yami's explanation...then looked back at the half-gainen with a expression of both confusion and determination. "Wait wait wait...Gainen? Interdiametric monster? Gamble? I don't know about any of this dude...I'm just here to train with the old dude. Isn't he supposed to be the good guy here? Why would he try to bring back the Interdiarettic creatures or whatever?" Watching the lava flow out of the mountain, not sure how anyone in there is still alive is lava is flying everywhere. Just then, a thought occurred to him.
"Wait a tick...what if I just go into the mountain and get the old dude out of the gateway thing? It seems like all those other dudes are fighting the big guy, so I can do something that doesn't involve my face getting munched off." In truth, Sid just didn't want to deal with a monster that strong. He knew when he was out of his league, and this was one of those times. And no amount of personal damage would likely even those odds...at least that's how he saw it anyway.

THE UNFATHOMABLE BEAST EMERGES: COUNTDOWN TO DESTRUCTION (PART II) Seeing the Gainen monster easily block both his kick and his Flecha attack as if they were nothing was a bit disheartening for Crow. If lighting and NE charged strikes didn’t affect Wild Battle then bullets would be less than spitballs against it. However Crow didn’t have much time to consider any more matters because the Behemoth was already on top of him after rushing with a cascade of gold ghostly silhouettes following behind it. The Gunslinger only had time to come to the shocking realization that this Gainen was about as fast as him in Overcharge state despite its massive size. Wild Battle released a maelstrom of punches Crow barely had time to bring his arms up to cover himself as the first few rained down on him. The Super Charged Cowboy felt the weight of each blow striking him causing various internal injuries including bones cracking. The Gunslinger would have likely been pulverized to death if it wasn’t for the arrival of Goemon, Jose, Dan, and Callis. Especially the actions of the fellow bounty hunter moving the earth beneath Wild Battle back away from Crow. The Rail-Gunslinger stumbled backwards wiping some blood from his mouth and quickly tried to capitalize on Dan’s using the stone fragments from the boulder the Gainen obliterated. Crow’s hands charged with electrical NE and he fired a weaker version of Flecha towards the stone rubble. However this time using (a lot of concentration and energy) his Natural Energy manipulation he wrapped the shrapnel in the Flecha. Now the stones would not only pummel into Wild Battle but they would have the added elemental effect of shocking him because of the combo of the two Bounty Hunters. CRACKLING STONE SHOWER
The Gunslinger turned to the Earth Mover and gave him a smirk, “Thanks for the back-up partner Bounty Hunters stick together! There no time to explain everything but we need to stop this ritual! Or more monsters like the ones we fought individually and this one will keep coming. I’m not a hundred percent sure what they are but I have an idea and either way we know these things are dangerous. First thing first though we need to beat this one….and FAST!” Crow took in his surroundings and focused on the lava and began to come up with a plan. He turned to Dan, Jose, Goemon. Gunslingers weren’t always about shooting. “Let’s give this monster a really hot bath! Jose and I will be use speed and quick attacks on him. Meanwhile Goemon and Dan you two bring the power and strength. We will create the openings you guys capitalize on them!” With that said Crow moved into action hoping his friends understood the plan to send the Gainen into the molten lava erupting from the volcano. The Gunslinger began to move all around Wild Battle with the speed of Overcharge however he felt like his energy could give out any second as the world began to fade to black and whites and the ringing in his ears grew louder. Yet could would not give in yet he pushed his body more increasing his speed to leave behind after images. However these were no ordinary after images. This was the electrified version of his Mirage technique referred to as Lightning Mirage. The after images were charged with a strong electrical current that would release into the Massive Beast should Wild Battle strike one. Crow was not done with this yet as he intended to appear behind the monster a smirk on his face. “Connecting Current Release!” Using NE manipulation Crow created an arc of electricity that chained one Lightning Mirage to another, possibly through or around the Gainen, to the Gunslinger’s hand. “Arc of the Cage!”

When Wild Battle struck, shockwaves and breaking bones filled Dan's ears. His grin was painful. He wanted his fists to unleash such sounds. He charged, keeping a careful eye on its movements. Maniac he may be, but idiot he was not. He aimed to get as close as he could without being caught in Crow and Jose's combined attack, wisely staying out of direct range of its fists and claws and watching for any sort of projectile. He opened both palms at the beast and sleep pheromones sprayed in an invisible cloud. He tossed a flurry of energy balls to get its attention, with the intent of getting it breathing harder.

-You wouldn’t be able to cross the Gateway, you don’t have the means or the training to enter the Gainen Space, much less survive it. - Yami glared at Sid. -“When the Gainen are around the lazy are the first to perish” That’s what uncle Reiji always said when talking about the old days.- The Half-Gainen stopped running for a second and kept his eyes focused on the Kickmaster. –If you don’t want to fight here today I can understand it, this might be too overwhelming for you to grasp, but you need to understand something.-
Yami’s glare upped the intensity he was transmitting to Sid. –Today might be the last day of the world as you know it and you try to do get by doing the least possible…- The Half-Gainen raised his hand and threw a punch at Sid, not an attack, just a punishment, just like Reiji would do when he trained him. –If for some reason you manage to outlast the rest of the morons and live through the next year… no, through the next week you will have to ask yourself a question…- Yami grabbed Sid’s collar with his bursting into dark purple flames, characteristic of certain Gainen, and finished speaking.
-Where was I when the world ended?- And with that last question, that didn’t seek an answer, he stopped talking, releasing Sid’s jacket and rushing towards the entrance of the Shrine, while the others kept Wild Battle distracted.
The Gainen of Untamed Battle roared with furious frustration as his quarry was obstructed by Jose efforts. The lack of proper footing lowered the power of its punches and the shower of electrically charged debris, even if couldn’t cause lasting damage to its thick hide, was painful enough to break the creature already dispersed focus. The appearance of other fighters in the battlefield had caught the attention of Wild Battle. Goemon who shined almost as brightly as Crow, while Dan and Jose shared similar radiance, something the creature, in some primitive level, seemed to appreciate.
The onslaught of the newcomers didn’t take long. Dan blew a cloud of pheromones towards Wild Battle, but the nature of the creature made it immune to the effects, not because it was a Gainen, but the “Wild” concept, representing boundless, uncontrollable and nature related granted the monster a natural resistant to any attempts of confusion or alteration of its mind, as Wild Battle seemed to be in a constant Berserker state. Yet the Energy balls were a bit more effective, managing to push the creature into an unstable position, something Goemon capitalized without delay.
Even as tired as he was the Karate Star kept much of his fighting prowess and his innate instinct for combat, that added to constant training in the basics of Ki allowed him to perceive the battlefield like a veteran would and from that viewpoint he knew what to do. –Make way I’m going to push this monster; and I don’t care what it is!- Goemon shoulder charged the creature, just as it tried to escape Crow’s Lighting Chain before it formed. Wild Battle managed to punch Goemon as it was knocked back by the Ki Enhanced Tackle, launching the Karate Star headfirst against a boulder, but the creature didn’t, or couldn’t understand what just happened.
Goemon was perceptive enough to detect the amount of energy in Crow’s Lighting Mirage, placed as Dan was showering Wild Battle with Ki blasts, was more befitting an attack than a simple distraction. And he was right, as the Gainen crashed against the first Lighting Mirage, it caused a chain reaction, first starting the discharge from the one he collided against, attracting the others closer and making them discharge as well. Wild Battle didn’t manage to react on time, as he forcibly sprung Crow’s trap thanks to Dan’s and Goemon’s opportune intervention and Jose’s invaluable support.
What followed was a display of the terrifying power of nature, as a powerful electromagnetic blast expanded from ground zero frying any technological device in the island and causing powerful bolts to scatter around, burning up trees and zapping boulders into blackened stones. Goemon threw himself on the ground, as he hoped that others would follow his example. When the blast stopped, smoke covered the area, with a deep charred smell invading every inch of the surroundings. Anybody with hair would have an instant afro thanks to all the static released and many trees around them were uprooted by the violence of the explosion, charged with NE and Ki.
The epicenter of the explosion was still covered in thick black smoke, coming from a charred hole in the ground, caused mainly by the bolts that flew from the discharge rather than the following shockwave. Goemon lifted his head, now almost twice as big thanks to the electric treatment to his afro and asked two questions. –What the fuck was that? And what the fuck was that creature?- Hoping to get answers from the rest.
As this events unfolded Callis Nomene, who had been following Dan, reacted to the incoming shockwave by hiding behind a tree, but the zone he was didn’t take the powerful wave too well and the Beast Knight got catapulted to the side violently, as if he was trapped in a powerful wave in a beach. He landed rolling in the ground to minimize the damage right in the same clear as Sid and Yami just had their heart to heart talk. The Beast Knight incorporated with painful and almost inaudible grunts and his eyes homed on Sid Renen. His surprise rapidly turned into a hint of anger, sparking on his blue eyes as he managed to utter. –You! Mes Renen…- And clutched his fists ready for a fight, even after suffering some wounds from the shockwave.
-Prepare to fight!- Something was clearly wrong with Callis, as if something was affecting him...
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I win you insufferable brat! I might be trapped here, but Wild is free and he is going to kill your friends. Wild? What the fuck are ya talkin’ about medal bastard! You truly don’t know anything brat, the Old Bastard really screwed you over not telling you about us. Us? I ain’t sayin’ this again ya fucker! What the fuck are ya talkin’ about! Talk or I’ll get ya a knuckle sandwich fuckin’ buffet! Nothing you say can get me boy, your Master already gave me everything I needed, Wild is more than enough to destroy them and when he does he will get me out and I won’t need you anymore… Ya need me for what? Fuck! FUCK! FUCK YA! I DON’T FUCKIN’ KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IS GOIN’ ON! FUCK! You know what, I’ll tell you, as a farewell gift considering how much I owe you for carrying me around and letting me recharge with all the fighting. So hear me out, because I don’t want to repeat myself…

Sid frowned at Yami as he went on his speech about the world ending, and readied his boot to kick the bastard in the face after the punch and him picking him up. As Yami left, he calls out to the half-gainen.
"Well fuck you too you movie-line talking dude! I was jus suggestin something better! Go back to your hipster club ya prick!" With that off his chest, Sid prepared to follow...but a certain person lands nearby.
"...oh damn it!."
Sparking his boot against the ground, Sid catches it on fire once more to fight Callis. Out of ALL the people to fall out of the sky, and it is the cat dude again?! Why couldn't it have been some hot chick in need of rescuing?! Whatever...he had to kick this guy around again.
"Alright cat dude.. do you REALLY think this is the time to do dis?! There is mini Godzilla stompin' around over there! Don't you think that dude is more important?!"

Dan took a half step back and covered his eyes when the monster went up in a massive blast. He felt the heat on his skin, like nothing he had ever felt as his feet left the ground. He fell heavily a few feet back, disoriented. His vision spun for a second as he picked himself up, feeling like he had just taken a punch rivaling the one delivered by the monster that killed his gang. He vaguely noticed both that everybody else's hair was standing on end and that his own was not. No surprises there, not that it mattered. He slid his feet into a position more suiting a sprinter than a fighter, putting one hand on the ground and keeping his body perfectly parallel to the cloud of smoke rising from the crater, making a mental calculation of where the target had to be in it.
Of course it wasn't dead. Nothing so fearsome could be dropped by such a simple trick. He could practically feel it calling to him with a cry more enticing than any siren. Like a lover, he craved the touch of its iron skin. The sound of its roar of pain and its battle cry as it retaliated. And now was the perfect time to strike. It was clearly still standing, but it may be staggered at the very least. He exploded forth from his stance, rushing at the smoke. He jumped just before he was in the crater, high enough to plant his foot on the beast's chest. However, he went a different route. Power pooled in the arch of his foot, an energy ball like he shot with his hands. Just before his foot would touch home, he released the blast to explode across its chest, where the blast would harm it and hurl him to safety.

Jose tries to overwhelm the opponent as Crow has suggested, but before he could manage to unleash his assault, a massive explosion suddenly occurs. He reacts by rising his arms up and ducking down, as he commands the earth to form a small dome around his body, yet his actions were too slow and he only manages to weaken the initial impact force before being send flying backwards into a few uprooted trees. His body crashes and bounces off a couple of trees before he falls onto the ground as the smoke brushes over his wounded body. He sees the a spinning world for a bit from the trauma and it takes him a good amount of seconds to regain his senses to the point where he could keep his head facing on direction. He slowly picks himself back up and begins to taste his own blood, which is running down from his nose and onto his lips.
"What the..." His gaze retracts from the dirt near his feet towards where he stood before the blast and figures he must of been launch more than 30 feet away from where he was before. He tries to take a step, but quickly falls on one of his knees. "Damn..." He did not expect the attack to be as powerful as it was. Hopefully the Gainen is defeated, he thought. But, in his heart he knew that wasn't the case. Grunting as he gets up once more, Jose looks forward and determine to finish this fight, no matter what happens. He looks around and studies the terrain and begins to come up with a plan to assist Crow's aim. He gently gets into a battle stance and begins to manipulate the earth. Praying that the beast will not come after him. He was going to need a little while to regain control over the surrounding earth after receiving that violent blast of energy.

THE UNFATHOMABLE BEAST EMERGES: COUNTDOWN TO DESTRUCTION (PART III)
The four heroes combined efforts and various energies created an explosion the likes of which none of them have ever seen. Scholars may one day say that the combined elements of Ki and Natural Energy, two very powerful sources of energy from two separate origins combining in such a fashion caused a kinetic reaction. However a writer may argue against the scholar and say that it was the combined spirits of the men their pure determination to defeat a common enemy unified into a glorious eruption of emotions. Either way the blast was more than powerful enough to blow Crow clean off his feet. The Gunslinger recovered enough to drop to the ground and cover himself as arcs of Lightning NE and a shock wave explosion of Ki decimated the area which was already ravished by the eruption. The blast lasted only a few seconds but it felt like an eternity.
The Rail-gun slowly rose to his feet on weak and shaking legs blood was dripping down his head most likely from a head injury he received in the explosion. Overcharge had dissipated but the static electricity and residual NE in the air caused small sparks of electricity to pop and crackle all over Crow’s skin. The world was spinning in his vision and he couldn’t sense Wild Battle he doubted if they had defeated him even with that last massive attack. As his vision stopped spinning and came into focus Crow could only see a pillar of smoke rising from the crater they had created. The Last Gunslinger responded back to Goemon. “Is everyone okay? I think our combine energies your Ki, my NE, and Dan’s pink Ki created a violent reaction. I hope to god that we manage to at least dent that monster.”
The Gunslinger needed to locate the others and determine where Wild Battle was hiding in order to create some form of strategy. Despite his Natural Energy reserves being Crow began to release pulses of electrical energy from his body using Eco de las Tormentas the added static electricity in the air and the residual NE that the island and it eruption was producing created a near perfect picture in his mind of the location. He saw Jose about 30 feet away from their current location, he saw Goemon with his statically puffed afro, in the distance he saw Sid along with two familiar allies from the past (Callis and Yami) ,he saw Dan leaping up and diving his foot down into the smoke. And in the smoke he saw…..Crow’s eyes widen in shock. “DAN STOP DON”T ATTACK!” The Unfathomable Beast Wild Battle was still standing within the smoke. “Goemon! We need to back up Dan now! Let’s hit this bastard with everything we got and then some!” Crow didn’t want to draw attention to Jose yet the former Bounty Hunter’s Earth Manipulation could provide a key advantage in this fight yet. The Gunslinger Heir began to piece together a plan in his mind to deal with the seemingly unstoppable Gainen. The Lighting Bolt of Justice released a burst of NE from his body as he forced it into Overcharge yet again. His every muscle was sore and his senses grew more muddled by the second but he couldn’t stop now the World was on the line. The Super Charged Cowboy used a small burst of speed to get on the opposite side of Dan Quicksilver drawn. Crow shot 3 Lightning Draw bullets at the smoke pillar where he assumed Wild Battle head was. 10 Bullets left.
