Oh, Fuckin' hell!! - She protested at Lom's answer. So the ring was the cause of this whole thing, not to mention Onyx was a pain in the ass when he got carried away. However she didn't had that much time to concentrate as giant dragon fell off from the damn sky and was directly aiming at her, WHYYY!?!?!? Onyx seemed the one that looked more dangerous, so why she was being targeted already!? As she evaded the bolt she couldn't have enough time to teleport away from the beam, whatever it was she wasn't going to enjoy it... Trying to cover herself with the sword she already had in hand something clashed against it, something small that fell harshly in the ground afterwards.
She was... fine? Without understanding she glanced at what fell in front of her, it was the follet who ended up turned into stone. a Small statue with a crying yet scared face paralized by the beam.
Oh... - She said quite shocked, she had a God apart in that second, there was no way the follet took all the damage and ended up like that while nothing happened to her. Well, she had to keep it there in the meantime... She noticed Leor on the floor, bleeding, this boy was driving her crazy with each time he got closer to death. Teleporting as fast as she could she tried to reach to him, avoiding bolts by making pentagrams.
ONYX IF YA' CAN FUCKING THINK TAKE DOWN THAT SHIT! - She growled loudly, almost gritting her teeth. She needed to get closer to Leor, otherwise she wouldn't be able to heal him...

Outflanked, the enemy forces were crushed and the remainder routed. Their feeble resistance wasn't much use against Bowie who was out of their range. Cutter herself managed to spin out of the exploding bolt's way, though the acid bolts still struck her. This was worse for the dwarves however. Now they had a pissed off acid-burned Cutter running down the stragglers. At first Melin was fine with it. Reduce opposing numbers. However, at this rate she would chase them into reinforcements.
"Cutter, regroup." He ordered, but his words fell on deaf ears. So his next orders went to Bowie. "Retrieve her." Bowie's arrow landed beside the swordswoman and her body dematerialized. Bowie moved to the arrow's location, scooped the sword and the soul up, and then returned.
"She's a competent fighter, if only she was more disciplined. Thank you, Bowie." The bowman also dematerialized so Melin put away all the components. "Orangy! Let's go inside the village!" He shouted over to the creature, then moved in. The burning village was disorientingly dyed orange by the flames, but a beam of light descending from the heavens gave away the enemies position. Seeing what was waiting for them there was rather discouraging. No wonder the village was burning. The enemy has a dragon! How were they supposed to fight a dragon in an area like this!? What's more, Leor also seemed to be bleeding. Melin was regretting leaving Spears behind.
"Bowie, get to a good position and chase him away." Bowie looked around. There were a lot of buildings, ones that hadn't caught fire yet, for an archer to perch on and make it easier to hit a flying creature. The mere thought of standing on top of one made Bowie freeze up though. He would have to take a different approach. He went inside one of the buildings, fired an arrow into a different one, then fired some at the dragon. Then he would teleport away to prevent the dragon rider from figuring out his location.
Meanwhile, Melin ran over Leor's side. How did he get a gash like that? He seemed to be losing a lot of blood too quickly. He really couldn't do much. Ela was the only person who could patch him up, but she was busy now too. All Melin could do was take off his robe and press it firmly against the sword would to try and slow down the bleeding. "Hold on, Mr. Leor. We'll patch you up, just hold on. Elatha! Leor needs your help!"

The dark drake looped around overhead to strafe the village again. Its tongue shot out again, grabbing Onyx off the ground and reeling him up to its wide beak. Before it could bite down, one of Bowie’s arrows landed in its side and it dropped him with a mournful cry. The goblin rider’s emotionless mask turned to see Bowie, somehow carrying an unimaginable hatred with no expression at all. He snapped his attention across the village when Bowie teleported until he found him, raising both weapons in his direction. First came the red ray of stillness to freeze him.
Second, he flicked the small dagger in his other hand, forked like a snake’s tongue. It extended like a bending, winding serpent, seeking out Bowie to plunge its prongs into his body and inject a vicious cocktail of venom. On the ground, the situation was just as vicious. Lom was taken from her air support duties when she dove to catch Onyx, leaving Elatha alone as she ran for Leor. Three soldiers regrouped at the top of the hill, one firing an explosive bolt for center mass, the second following up the next second with a piercing bolt, and the third firing an acid bolt overhead, where its glass casing broke, dropping a rain of acid over her. A fourth charged Melin as he approached the fallen Leor, but the slavering beast with him intercepted and his screams were soon drowned out with crunching noises. However, the monster didn’t notice the dwarf lower on the hill raising his crossbow to fire an explosive bolt at Melin’s back, intending to take out both him and his patient.
From the trash chute came a low rumble, and red liquid began to flow up the rocks against the pull of gravity.

I'm goin'!- She shouted back at Meling, trying to protect herself with a pentagram on top of her. As she ran, she summoned another one and threw it to dome Melin and Leor so both could be protected at least for moment. She searched with her eyes where the bolts came from and once she could locate the soldiers she set her sword on fire and threw it as hard as she could, aiming an enemy as she ran wasn't going to allow her to have a direct hit, so that's why she decided to detone it and let her fire spread. Once she did that, she didn't care for the outcome, she knew that would give her a few seconds to teleport closer to the boys. Summoning more pentagrams she tried to clear her path from the acid rain that was falling down, the magic was strong enough to prevent them from melting immediatly, but they won't last long.
Once she reached them, the previous pentagarm that was protecting Melin and Leor dissolved - Hang in there kid... Melin I'll need you keep an eye while I heal him! - She ordered. placing her hands on the wound, blue patterns appeared on them as she began to cast the magic, her palms shinning bright as grace was entering the Poreal's body healing him as fast as she could. She had to heal him from the inside to the outside, and as she did the magic that was currently healing her was slowly fading, making her body's ache to increase. She bitted her own lips to tolerate it, to focus, there was no other way at the moment.

Melin didn't notice the bolt until it exploded against the pentagram Elatha placed. "Thanks, Elatha!" He shouted out. He knew staying out in the open like this, even with the dragon rider distracted, was a bad idea. But he couldn't pull Leor inside a shelter, he couldn't move him at all with a wound like that. Spinal injury was incredibly likely and he wasn't going to make it worse.
Elatha managed to get to them despite the constant bombardment and started working on the Poreal. "I'll clear the perimeter," Melin said and summoned Cutter whose acid burns had mostly healed. The swordswoman instantly turned her blade toward him. The animancer expected something like that so he didn't even flinch.
"I was chasing them down," Cutter said. Melin casually moved the sword away.
"Chasing them into a bigger group where I couldn't gather your remains. I'm not losing even an undisciplined soldier, Cutter. Now stop wasting time and let out some steam on those guys." He pointed to the dwarves firing bolts at them. Cutter tapped her sword while mulling it over, but she couldn't resist the call of bloodshed. She ran toward them, jumping on the dwarf that fired that last bolt to stab him from above. Then she would run to the next nearest one to cut him up.
Melin exhaled when she listened to him. She was so troublesome. But without spears, she was his best frontliner now. He pulled out his orb to observe his surroundings, see if there were any hidden enemies he could direct her to. Then he sensed what Bowie was going through.
The drake had enough height to make hitting him a challenge, especially through the windows and cracks Bowie had been firing through. But eventually one arrow landed. And drew the rider's attention. Bowie teleported right away, but the next arrow missed and revealed his location. The dragonrider retaliated right away, firing a red ray that Bowie tried dodging. He failed. It hit an arm and a leg and he completely lost control of them. The serpentine dagger came right after, hitting the same arm. That wasn't Bowie's main concern however. He feared the dragon's breath more. He pulled his bow's string using his teeth, a feat not easy to achieve by any standard, and fired in a random building, teleporting away to the arrow before the dragon swooped in. Then the venom hit him. For now it was only a stinging pain quickly spreading through his body.
Dammit, Melin thought. They came in with an advantage, but now the tides were starting to turn. He'd have to get Elatha to Melin as soon as she was done with Leor. Some venom surely wouldn't destroy the soul, but he would be out of commission for a while if it killed the body.

Light returned to Leor's eyes, he coughed, finally drawing breath from his lungs again. He looked at Ela, then at Melin. what had happened? right. Onyx had nearly killed him. the words the dwarf had said to him resonated. Why was he here anyway? At the very least, he knew he had to protect Elatha and Melin. He slowly got up and transformed.
"Thank you..." He told them as he flew straight towards the rider, he twisted his blade and crystals rose from the ground, surrounding the mount in an attempt to stagger it while Leor went for a straight kick aimed at the rider's face.

Elatha’s sword had taken out the last rank of soldiers on the battlefield, leaving only the dragon and its rider. As Leor was rising, the dragon circled back around, jerking to a halt when the crystals sprung from the ground and blocked its path. The goblin atop aimed his staff, but Leor was faster, and he went flying from his saddle to go rolling down the hill. The dragon screamed and shot its tongue at Leor, trying to snag his back and pull him into its slicing beak. The goblin pushed himself to his feet and attacked with his dagger, flicking out the extending knife in an attempt to leave a poisoned slash across Leor’s stomach.
On the other side of the hill, there was a tremor. Two more flying things, stockier, with thick fur all over their torsos, came flying up, goblins atop them pelting Melin and Elatha with crossbow bolts, explosives to erase the whole hillside. After them it crawled, the beast that had charged Leor on the cliffside. It was broad and flat, head almost disk-shaped. The silvery sheen over its body made it look like it was made of steel, especially its chin, shaped like a hammer’s head. Atop it was a mighty hobgoblin chief, orange and red with blackened bony studs jutting from his skin all over his skull and lumbs. He patted his mount once and it slammed its head into the ground, causing the entire cavern to shake. Damaged portions of the hillside slide down in waves of rubble, already devastated buildings crashed into heaps of ash. The beast didn’t hesitate to take advantage, lunging forth at Cutter and the monster they picked up below, mouth wide to swallow them both in one gulp.
Just outside the village, the flow of blood became a geyser, a veritable ocean of lifeblood roaring out, acting like it was flowing into some invisible container. Swiftly the shape of a humanoid figure was built, texture like jelly, wobbling and rippling across its surface. Cherry hovered near its head, a head that nearly topped the hill, coated in blood but brimming with satisfaction. “Claim more blood.” She told it and the ghouls, and it pushed forward, sliding without raising its feet.

Leor Made his blade explode mid air, changing directions violently to avoid getting eaten, the blast sent him down and he sheated his blade with just enough time to catch the goblin's dagger. Now that's a weapon he was used to. The Poreal caught the attack by the goblin's wrist almost by instinct and proceeded to punish with an elbow strike to the face, should it connect he would follow with a knee to the stomach and a 720 sideflip that landed on a spinning back kick.
Leor clenched his fists still terrified by having nearly died. Was he dreaming? He was still fighting! He had yet another chance!
He left Elatha and Melin just like that! He had to go back, but only if his opponents allowed it. Winning this fight was also another way to protect lady Elatha!

Melin exhaled a sigh of relief that Leor was up so quickly. "Well done, Elatha, but I need you to be a medic a bit longer. One of my warriors was hurt. We should patch him up before he reverts into a soul. This way." They didn't have a chance to move however. Two more flying beasts took to the sky and the riders took a particular interest in Ela and Melin.
"Gamóto," Melin exclaimed in greek when the bombardment started. "This way." He ran behind a building. It wasn't the safest place to hide, but going inside a building was asking the riders to bomb it into collapsing on top of them.
Assuming Elatha followed him, he'd tell her: "We need to get around them to get to Bowie. We might be able to sneak past them if we stick to the walls."
Meanwhile, Cutter was celebrating her victory until a giant dragon appeared. It wasted no time in charging at her and the monster. Its massive jaw was wide open and could swallow them both. But Cutter grinned. "It's not every day one gets to kill a dragon!" She jumped and extended her blade toward the ground. It grew as far as it could to push her out of the monster's jaw's range, then she spun in the air, aiming to cut the dragon's mouth with the extra long sword.

Oh, well - She said as she bitted her tongue once she stopped talking. The pain was killing her but if she had to help, she had to help! The damn rides were after them, Elatha summoned more pentagrams to protect themselves in case of something happening at their backs. She listened to Melin's plan att he same time she made sure to have a spell ready in case the building they were in were to explode or whatever - All right we got no choice... I'll try to teleport as close as I can, when I do that try to cover me

The last vestiges of the dwarven infantry were gone, fleeing or crushed by the beast of blood that Cherry had created. Only goblins and their enemies remained. The masked goblin Leor faced found himself unprepared for close combat and ate an elbow to the face. Leor’s combo knocked him flat and he rolled again coming up. Slender fingers felt the crack in his mask and he stopped. Without another moment’s hesitation, he fired off his paralyzing stuff at Leor and jumped to clamber up the crystals, freeing his dragon and flying off.
The great blood golem took a swing at them, but all it managed was to shatter the crystal prison, scattering shards all over the hill. It seemed disappointed when it looked at its empty hand. Then the pterosaurs caught its attention, flanking the building Elatha and Melin hid behind to fire upon them directly. Its body lurched forward in a red wave and grabbed one. Hollow bones snapped like toothpicks, the entire body crushed into a nearly unrecognizable paste before being dropped. The other spiraled upwards, narrowly evading capture. Explosive bolts rained down upon the being of blood, blowing off droplets and filling the air with a red mist. “How dare you shoot him, he’s only a baby!” Cherry yelled at the remaining goblin, firing off green bolts that came nowhere near striking her or her mount.
Below, Cutter rushed the leader, evading his mount’s massive bite and coming down hard. Her sword left a shallow cut across the monster’s skull, drawing blood. The beast roared, thrashing its head. The hobgoblin sprang from his saddle, swinging two curved swords, one lashing at her ankle before the other flicked up at her stomach. His face screwed up with grim determination. She had injured his mount and he was losing men. This was no longer fun.

Leor jumped back almost immediately, he did not pursue the goblin, for he had managed to achieve his goal. He made him retreat. He took a deep breath and examined the battlefield. This fight was almost done. He flew carefully as he looked for Elatha and Melin. If something had happened to them while he was gone he wouldn't forgive himself! The young Poreal called for them, hopefully, either would reply soon.

The enemies weren't going to leave Melin and Elatha along so easily. One of them circled around and came in for another pass, but a giant red hand caught it, crushing it like an empty tin can. A blood golem? Melin had never seen one of those before, but if Cherry could create it from those remains, she must have been incredibly skilled.
"Alright, let's go while they're distracted." Melin told Elatha and started running toward where Bowie was struggling with the poison.
Elsewhere, Cutter managed to damage the dragon, but the rider wasn't going to allow a deathblow. He lept at her and cut off a whole foot. Spectral energy leaked out of the wound, but the rider didn't stop, slashing up at her stomach with his other sword. Cutter made her blade retract to normal size and used it to block, but was knocked over because of poor footing. Enraged by the predicament, she extended her sword and spun around on her back enough to make a breakdancer or a ninja turtle proud. Then she'd shorten it, put the tip next to her, and extending it again, pushing herself upright and into the air to do a flip. Her sword would naturally follow, slashing upward at the hobgoblin's stomach.

Woah, that little one surely is dangerous - She said refering to Cherry, if it wasn't by the strong smell of death she wouldn't have thought that was a bad idea, but necromancers were something she didn't trust much.
The Queen of Driaochtas teleported to get closer to Bowie, however she couldn't help but notice as well that Cutter was having trouble with the rider. Seemed she had to heal another one... attaching a leg, that surely would do a number on her at the point of her own pain finally reappearing completely and leaving her unconscious... But it didn't matter, if things got worse she'll have to summon Gallerian to possess her until the fight was over. As she finally reached Bowie, she started to heal him. As the magic began to flow towards the soul more began to slowly fade from the Queen's body, the pain from before while she was healing Leor was nothing compared to this time.

The hobgoblin was feeling good when he removed Cutter’s foot, but she just kept moving, and things behind her were increasingly dire. It was down to himself and a single pterosaur-mounted archer. In his distraction, Cutter’s blade caught him. His armor slowed it, nearly stopped it, but the tip carved through, leaving an arc of blood in the air as it kept going. This fight was over. “Back to the canyon!” He yelled and his beast turned. He made a last swing in an attempt to push Cutter off of the creature’s skull and jumped back to his saddle as the massive salamander crawled over the lip of the ridge to clamber back down into the gulch below. The spiraling pterosaur peeled off, diving down the canyon behind him.
Cherry looked proud for a moment before folding into a ball. “Ughhhhh…” She was spent. No magic in her veins. She had poured every bit of it into the blood hulk above her. “Loooooom.” She moaned until the half-dwarf spiraled down to her. “Are you okay?” She asked Cherry, crouching by her head. “Perfectly fine. I will even be able to walk in a few minutes. I wanted you to know that this blood hulk has standing orders to obey your clansfolk, and will last another week. Your people can use it to defend their village and repair things around here.” She mumbled. “Oh, and we found him in the trash. He’s friendly and wants to live with you now.” She pointed at the monster now scooping up bodies into his massive mouth till he couldn’t close it.
“A gryllus! One was below our village all along!?” She flew across the village in a delighted rush. “Hello! Welcome to the village!” She grasped his hand. Unable to respond, he just made a confused gurgle. “We can help you settle in later, I need to check on somebody!” She flew around again until she found Onyx, only now rousing from his paralyzed state. He immediately yanked the ring off, returning to dwarven form. “Lom, I-” Explain to Leor. Not me.” She said as she helped him up. “...Yes.” He looked up, spying Leor atop the hill. His short legs pushed him up, painful as it was to climb. “Leor. I made a mistake. One that I’m glad somebody could fix. I still disagree with you, but I would never attack you under normal circumstances. The ring I use has… drawbacks.” He sighed and knelt. “None of which excuse what I did. Name your price. A gift, a favor. If it is within my power, I will grant it.”

Leor saw both Lom and Onyx below and held his breath, he quickly descended as Onyx began to explain himself, he listened to the dwarf as he clenched his fists, once he saw him kneel Leor quickly walked towards him and hugged the dwarf in the spot.
"I...I'm so glad you are well, Lord Onyx"- He said as he cried on his shoulder, none of the words the dwarf had said to him made any sense at all. what better gift could there be than to have him back?
He finally let go of the dwarf as he noticed what he had done was improper and looked at Lom shyly, Leor was definitely troubled, but he still stood straight.
"Lady Lom, have you seen Elatha? I...can't find her, Sir Argeryos as well, I worry deeply for them!"

Malin and Ela reached Bowie and started healing him. His pain quickly subsided and his shallow breaths returned to normal. When Elatha was done, he sat up. "Thank you. I feel much better now."
"Yes, thank you, Elatha." Melin thanked her as well. "But are you feeling alright? You've been using a lot of powerful attacks and now did a lot of healing. Are you perhaps tired?" He looked at her with concern. "Cutter also sustained injuries, but if you're tired, I can just have her rejuvenate in her soul form."
Meanwhile, the goblin swung his sword and knocked Cutter off of his mount. "Get back here, you bastard! I wanna cut you down already" She swung her sword, extended to max length, but her opponent was already out of reach. "Damn you! I'll cut you down!" She said, pushing herself off the ground, using her sword as a cane to hold herself up.

What? No! I'm perfectly fine! - She said as she stood up, just to feel a strong pain raise from the center of her stomach and achig the rest of her body. She immediatly fell to the ground, the first instinct was to check where the pain was, lifting her shirt a bit she glanced at the big scar that she had... For one second she thought she was bleeding, but that would have been impossible... - U-Uhm... I, think... I'm not as fine as I thought - She said, slowly standing up but gentler and slower compared to the previous time. She would have gladly help Cutter too, but her own condition even made her unable to walk for a second... If she tried to use some magic again she'll pass out from the pain, that was sure - I don't think I'll be able to help her right now, I'm sorry boy

Onyx stiffened when Leor hugged him. “What-” That was it? Instant forgiveness, for losing control and nearly killing him? He couldn’t understand it. Lom should have been furious. He should have demanded some great token of remorse. Was it just the ring speaking in his ear, claiming gold was how you settled these things? No, he couldn’t blame the ring for everything. He was the one who chose to bury himself in wealth, away from the world as far as he could get himself. “Please don’t cry.” He said, standing. He gave Leor’s back a few awkward pats before he backed off.
“I’ll find her, don’t worry.” Lom said when Leor asked for Elatha’s location. She shot up into the sky and spotted her in an instant. She pointed for Leor, dropping by Elatha’s side. “Uh-oh. Don’t tell me you’re drained too! That’s two mages down!” She sighed as Cherry mounted the hill. “I will be fine. I would like some appreciation, however.” She pouted, making blood spill down her chin. Not that it was noticeable with her whole body painted red. “Also, a bath.” She grumbled, holding out her sticky skirt. “Don’t worry about that, you look like a hero! Covered in blood and none of it yours!” Lom said, clasping Cherry’s hands. “That’s what a hero looks like?” Even Cherry seemed incredulous. “It’s what a goblin hero looks like, anyway.” Lom shrugged with a needle-toothed grin.

Leor put up a hopeful smile when Lom told him not to worry, it's not that he trusted her in particular, but that he trusted everyone. As she flew up, the blue dwarf almost immediately found the Driaochta, that was fast! once she pointed at Leor in the right direction, the Poreal took off without a second of delay. True enough, there she was! golden hair and plump body right next to the Animancer, they looked fine! How did he not notice them before? it was probably the distress of the situation, he made a mental note of that, next time, he would take his time before panicking.
"Elatha!!"-He cried out as he flew straight towards her, a greeting as if he had not seen her in years. Tears barely held back, he hugged her as hard as he could. *No crying this time!* He thought to himself as he felt the warmth of her body, she looked tired, exhausted even, but she was ok...probably, was she? how would he know? Ask right away! a small voice in his head kicked in.
"I was so worried about you! are you okay? do you feel dizzy? Sir Argeryos! what about Y-BY SHURA WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!" Leor screamed out loud, face pale white as he saw Cherry covered in blood, that wasn't normal!
"A-are you alright my Lady?! B-blood is supposed to go inside!"-He said wondering wether he should touch her or not, the sight and smell were almost a tad too much for him as the feeling of throwing up crawled from the back of his throat, very much not the kind of display he wanted to show her! although there was little he could do about that. How was Lom keeping a straight face in front of that?! Perhaps if he had payed more attention to the conversation she had with Cherry he would know.
