Since Haruko was farther away from Huntsman and his group's fight with the vampire ogre, she only needed to place her head into her arm to block out the blinding flash from the grenade. Once it was over, she looked up to see Warden talking about how the universe doesn't matter...yet he was saving 'numbers uncountable' today. What was going on here? Did he seriously believe freezing the entire universe would somehow save everyone? Was Warden always this insane? These questions lingered in her mind as she gracefully leaped back away from the tendrils fired at her, summoning a transparent pink half-dome to block the attack and skate away to a more advantageous position. Haruko watched as Becky attacked Warden with her...hair? "How strange..." Haruko mumbled to herself. Hair didn't seem like a reliable weapon, being physically attached to one's body. This proved to be an issue when Warden began to pull Becky into his maw. Luckily, Becky managed to free herself and summon a strange new creature that impaled Warden's body.
"How do we do this..." Haruko thought to herself while in the air. Judging by how large Warden was and Ariana's importance to the plan, Haruko guessed she was inside. They needed to somehow get through Warden's defense, remove Ariana from his grasp without killing her...and figure out how to stop her from destroying the universe. She knew of one way that Huntsman would love, but killing Ariana wasn't something Haruko wanted to do. Perhaps they'd figure out the solution once Ariana was free. Summoning a dark blue spotlight over Warden and Gilgamesh, they both would feel their movements slowed slowed, as if small weights had been placed on all their muscles. Haruko used this opportunity to skate closer to the both of them and summon a massive pink lance made of mana. She verfied the ki signature of Ariana from within the monster, and moved to plunge the lance into the area just above it. She hoped to shave off enough of Warden to give them an opening to remove Ariana.

"You're saving countless lives by destroying an unrelated universe? Bullshit! If you want to destroy those living universes, why not go inside one and do this there? You don't have to answer that. You've already sinned too much; I won't accept whatever genocidal excuse you have now," Arthur said and prepared ice shards for an all-out assault. Before he got to launch them all, portals appeared all around him. Those portals lead directly to hell, or at least that's how Arthur saw it. The heat coming from them was terrifying, and they produced a familiar sound. It reminded Arthur of a situation from long ago, technically several hundred years ago. Immediately he knew he stood no chance if he didn't get away. The song itself warmed the air up with every passing millisecond and then the notes themselves started gaining physical shape. He knew he had only way to get out of here. A black sword appeared in Arthur's hand. "Over Accel!" Time shifted and the world seemed to slow down to a crawl. However, the opposite was true. Arthur sped up his own time since he wasn't sure time fiddling would affect a demon god. Those annoying things could do all sorts of crazy things. Using the speed boost he received, Arthur moved around the notes with extreme prejudice and slipped out of his portal cage through a gap between two of them. He broke his spell and said, "You know, using fire against me isn't making me despise you any less.""Dad!" Loveline suddenly called out to him. Arthur turned and saw one of Warden's tendril's sticking out of her back, having passed cleanly through her torso. "Love!" Arthur yelled out, a red rage starting to take him over. "Ignore this, dad. I can handle it. I'll save Ariana. You help those guys with the big vampire. Trust me!" Arthur struggled to not go berserk right there. He knew she could handle it and not facing those hellish portals was quite attractive. "F-fine... I'll... I'll handle him. You save her... You have to save her!" He turned away and focused on the vampire, doing everything he could to calm down. He ran past Huntsman who was giving him a nasty glare for some reason and leaped into the air. "Hey, ugly! I'm kinda pissed right now, so why don't you go ahead and die?" Ice shards rained down the ancient creature while Arthur landed behind him and slashed at his ankles with Accel End. Meanwhile, Loveline looked at Warden with sadness in her eyes. She trusted this man. She thought he was a good person, that he cared about Ariana. But all he cared about was destruction... There was only one thing she could do now. She was going to kill him. She was gonna rescue her friend. She grabbed the tendril sticking out of her and with her biological manipulation was able to figure out where Ariana was being kept. The gemstone hanging around her neck started glowing before red light enveloped her whole.
Gem of Garnet, release my power...
Loveline's hair grew shorter So that I may fight for those who cannot... Colorful highlights appeared in it, turning the ends of her hair all the colors of the rainbow. For I... Am the shining warrior bringing peace! Her outfit turned into a short, black gothing lolita dress with red frills on the ends. I am the warrior of love! Her shoes turned into combat boots and a red cape appeared around her neck. I am... Garnet Rainbow! The light surrounding her gathered in palm of her hand and exploded into a large scythe which she quickly spun around and cut the tendril sticking out of her. She pulled out end end still in her and threw it away. The hole in her chest closed up and she pointed her scythe at Warden. "You betrayed Ariana. You betrayed my friend. I can't let that slide. Because magical girls have to stick together! Right, Haruko? Let's free our comrade!"A colorful bullet fired from the scythe. "Boom boom dandelion! Wide spread!" The bullet split apart into many pieces that surrounded Warden, leaving uncovered only parts where her allies were, and exploded. Using that as a distraction, she rushed over to where she felt Ariana and carefully tried dissecting Warden with the scythe blade to get her out.

Make sure it's covered in chocolate if I fail... because that monster is moving a lot - The boy said frankly without taking seriously Huntman's threat. Thankfully everyone was moving and distracting Warden, so probably he could figure out a plan to attack him. Making sure to follow everyone's movements the kid was calculating what he was going to do. If he thought about this situation like a final boss in a RPG game, things could go smoothly and they could rescue Ariana. After all, he was right that time with the dryads and their trees.
Chloe by other hand, barked to the ground to impulse her so she could escape from the material, moving aside so she could recharge but that lasted a few seconds when she noticed the harpoon aiming towards her child. The adrenaline of the moment didn't gave her the chance to think twice and the tendril ended on her shoulder. A growl came from the deep of her throat, all that trash discourse were annoying her and with a fierce bite she pulled that joke of a weapon out of her body.
Chloe... don't - The young priest said, attempting to lure her to calm down - Stay here and recover, it's an order
In the moment the boy said that, the angel stopped and seated down while taking deep breaths, her snow-white fur began to dye into a dirty grey as her purple eyes began to turn more reddish... orders weren't something she liked while being angry but that child was more important than an angel's tantrum.
The boy take an advantage of Gilgamesh's entrance so he could move towards both Haruko and Loveline. Of course not only to divide so he could throw the weapons Eve gave him but because he was amazed by the magical girl transformations it was suuuuuuuper hero like!
Miss Miyata! and... I guess it was Miss Cromwell, right? - The boy said unsure and with a bright smile - What do we do to free Ariana? I've got this things from the Iron Maiden, if we can figure a plan quickly then we'll be able to save her!.... b-by other h-hand... -he mumbled a little while his voice wasn't that audible until he opened his mouth again - ... I-I REALLY LOVE YOUR MAGICAL GIRL DESIGNS!!! THEY ARE AMAZING A-AND CUTE AND THE HERO SPEECH WAS AMAZING TOO! - He tried to keep his voice down without helping it, as his eyes were shinning like emeralds even in that dark place, such a fanboy that was for sure.

Breathing slowly the gruesome hunter examines what he considers to be one of the greatest specimens he has ever have gotten the pleasure to face off against. "How long as it been seen I face a vampire..., " he mumbled to himself. Recalling his past experiences he knew vampires are usually extremely tricky to kill, but that's why he finds them so amusing. They can withstand more punishment then the the typical monsters he plays with. Licking his lips in anticipation to find out what its going to take to take the creature down for good, Alex prepares a series of small wire thread daggers and begins to hurl them at the vampire. At the end of each dagger, was a tiny wire thread he could use to help maneuver and adjust the trajectory of the daggers through his protective dome. Yet, his real goal wasn't to simply help his daggers stab the nigh immortal creature, but to use them as a means of transportation for his wire threads attach to the end of the daggers to gradually lay the foundation of his trap.

Gilgamesh's horn was like a lever, prying up on Warden's body to pull it in half. Muscles strained and tore faster than they could be replaced, only the addition of mighty suckers and pressure on Gilgamesh's skull kept Warden from ripping clean in half. Warden only paid mind to the vast creature before him until Haruko's mighty lance plunged into his side. It cut deep, making his rooted body tilt dangerously like a falling tree. He took a hand off of Gilgamesh and swung in Haruko's general direction with a fist the size of a backyard shack. Unrestrained, Gilgamesh dove deeper, but the final blow came from Loveline.
A storm of bullets, insignificant on their own but all just enough to permanently destroy a touch of flesh came swarming in. His entire outer layer of skin and with it many of the suckers he rooted himself together with burnt away and Warden snapped in half. His enormous torso went barreling towards Loveline and anything else unfortunate enough to be behind him, crushing every tile beneath him. Gilgamesh roared in triumph and vanished. Left behind was a rooted lump of flesh surrounding a dome of bone, polished white like ivory. Loveline's scythe sank in easily enough, but as soon as she started cutting, the already anenome-like root flesh began growing tentacles that reached for her, trying to grab her and instantly inject her with paralyzing venoms.
Behind, Warden's torn stump rose, shredded base making use of the opening to reconfigure into a toothy maw. Raising himself up on the tentacles and arms he had formed for battle, he began stomping his way back towards his other half. Becky scrambled back into the field of play, throwing a slap for the back of Thomas' head. "Huntsman said to do that and say you have to use the grenades he gave you." She didn't even blink as she delivered the message, just turning to Warden. She could see behind him, where the vampire still stood tall. Alex's knives embedded themselves shallowly in his back, and Arthur's slash made him teeter for a second, giving him pause for just long enough that Huntsman flew down to slash an eye out. As he pulled up, the vampire's hand lashed out, smacking him out of the sky.
Most of Huntsman went skidding across the floor one way, a single wing spiraling down where he had flown. He pieced himself back together, cracking his neck into place to look up at the ceiling. "Oh, fucking duh. Somebody get me a hole in the top floor!" He yelled at Loveline and Haruko, the most capable of destroying something that far away thoroughly enough for his tastes.

Loveline's explosive entrance worked fine and, after ducking down to avoid Warden's half, she went in for the cut. Unfortunately, before she got to be the hunter to Ariana's red riding hood, tenticles came out of Wardens body and tried to hit her with nasty-looking pointy things.
Loveline let go of her weapon and jumped back. The scythe shattered and reappeared in her hand. Such a direct attack wasn't going to work unless they could overwhelm Warden with many attack so he couldn't deal with everyone. Even then he would probably prioritize guarding Ariana over protecting himself.
While she considered her next move, Loveline was approached by the kid with the wolf. Well, "kid". Thomas, he said his name was. 18 years old. Yet his childish gushing over Love's and Ruko's magical girl forms certainly didn't betray his age. Or it betrayed a lack of experience in hidden world matters.
"Thanks, I try." Love twirled her scythe. Becky suddenly came over, smacked the boy and told him to use the granade he mentioned just a second ago. "No! Whatever Eve gave you, don't use it unless I tell you to!" Whatever it was, Love was sure it wouldn't discriminate Warden from Ariana. She wasn't going to let Ariana die, especially not like that. What's more, she didn't even know what those grenades could do.
"Just tell me what makes those grenades special first."
Then Huntsman skidded in and asked for a hole in the roof. Again, she didn't trust him not to use that hole to destroy Warden and Ariana with him somehow. She was also worried about he vampires they left on the floor right above. Still, she helped him.
"Pattern 60: Pink Floyd Refraction! Triple!" She fired a white beam from her scythe that split into 7 smaller beams of different colors. Those beams split further into 7 more beams each. Those 49 beams crashed through the ceiling and every ceiling above it until coming out of the roof, visible to any cultists still fighting outside.
In the meantime, Arthur considered the lack of progress they were currently making with the vampire. The sound of Loveline's attack destroying the roof drew his attention and he suddenly got an idea, probably the same one Huntsman had. He dashed through the vampire's legs and put him between the hole and himself.
"Hey, you're ancient right. Tell me, what did pugilism look like back when you were alive?"
Arthur got into a boxing stance and two very largee ice pillars appeared behind him. Arthur proceeded to launch a flurry of jabs and straights, his fists not connecting but the ice pillars certainly trying to. With the weight of the pillars, he hoped to push the vampire underneath the hole and hopefully into sunlight.

Despite Warden’s swing in Haruko’s general direction, she had made sure to stand far back and use the lance to attack from a distance to avoid being swatted at. She looked at Thomas with confusion at first, then rubbed the back of her neck slightly in surprise. “Ah, thank you! I do love these designs as well.” She said, looking at her own attire and glancing at Loveline’s. Her attention then snapped back to the issue at hand. “As for him…” She looked down at the bombs in Thomas’s hands. “Could you direct those at Warden’s upper half while I pry open the cage?” She asked, giving a confident smile.
The sound of the ceiling being fired at by Loveline pulled Haruko’s attention away from Thomas, and to the massive bone cage Haruko thought Ariana was inside. Skating past the falling debris, Haruko summoned a large neon pink hammer with a head the size of her entire body, and aimed to slam it against the bone mass. She hoped to shatter the bones, allowing her to see inside the cage and accurately summon a length of rope to wrap around Ariana’s midsection and pull her out of the cage...hopefully. If the bones didn’t break or Ariana wasn’t inside, Haruko would slam the hammer against the lower half even harder.

Ow! Don't do that! I have a wound from another mission and it didn't heal yet! - The boy sayd as he sulked a bit while moving some meters away from Becky - By other hand we don't know how potent these bombs are...
He proceeded to explain gow the box worked - Red releases corrosive gas, blue makes fire and the yellow ones can leave you blind or deaf... so if I were you I would make a better plan than just throw them - He shut himself and tried to think, considering the situation they were in and how Warden regenerated his body at such speed, they needed to move fast... then the bone cage, it was another thing... if the girl was inside of it then the granades could be dangerous as he recalled Huntsman's threat... If he were Warden he'll make the cage super sensible and weak so the enemy action could be reduced to the fear of losing the girl's life.
... We need to create a barrier that could protect the girl, we don't know the potence of this bombs - The boy glanced at Haruko and Loveline - Do you have any tracking spell so we can detect where Ariana is?

With a smile from ear to ear, Alex continues his barrage at the vampire. His hand gestures almost appear similar to a juggler as wires swirl around him in counter clockwise motion as the gruesome hunter create a series of wire thread daggers in midair. As the daggers drop into his hands, he would immediately throw it at the creature. Making sure the wire threads would be small enough to squeeze through the small hexagon holes of his wire thread dome. All this time he waits patently for the right moment to spring his trap. Once he sees his opportunity, he would cease making daggers.
His hands would suddenly stop moving for a split second, before he taps on a button on one of his gauntlet, to cause the wire threads to retract that make up the dome around body. He would then proceed to manipulate the wire threads of the dome to form into a small ball, which would be nearly the same size as a baseball. While this is happening, all the daggers with the wire threads attach to the ends of them will assault the vampire once more, but this time from various angles and in a unique spiral pattern, which Alex plans to use to wrap the wire threads attach to the daggers around the vampires body, rending him motionless. At least long enough for Alex to throw his wire thread ball at the creature, which will expand right before impact to form a new hexagon wire thread dome around the creature.
From what he can tell, the vampire was unable to break through his dome the last time. Thus, his plan is simple. He will simply trap the creature in the cage he won't be able to break out of. And once inside the dome, Alex will retract it once again. The ghoulish looking man doubts that even this extremely powerful supernatural creature could survive such extreme decompression. And even if he can't, he hopes his allies will be able to exploit the small opening of his wire thread to deliver more of their devastating attacks on a stationary target.

“Pugilism? You may as well ask what cities were like. They did not exist.” The vampire grimly turned to Arthur just as Loveline’s blast opened up the ceiling. He winced and covered his massive owl-eyes with a tree-trunk arm. His skin began to burn like paper, edges blackening and fading away. However, just as fast as he burned, his body was healing, new skin growing from the center of every burned patch. It was like stripes crawling over his body as healing and burning spots chased each other in a hypnotic pattern. “That itches.” He quietly complained as the fists began to fly, but he slowly grew a smile as they struck him. They battered him, driving him back as they rattled his body. Soon, however, he regained his stance and in fact found a new one. He had his arms up like he didn’t before, defending his head. When he blocked a punch, the other snapped out like a snake to grab the offending arm of ice. His grip would tighten until nothing could withstand the force and it was reduced to icecubes. It was at this moment that Alex’s wire ball came flying. The wires came spooling out, forming their dome around him. He stopped and turned back to face the maestro of wires. “Another aspiration to permanence?” He asked just before it snapped shut around him. He roared like thunder as the wires bit deep into his flesh. “You… at last, I see. You are the greatest here. I am glad… to see eternity with you.” His strugglings drove the wires clean through his body. A bloody ball of wires bounced on the floor. Uneven chunks of vampire fell with it. They sat baking in the sun. A ripple moved through half an eyeball. It rolled. The other parts began writhing, flopping towards the others. Even as the blood they sat in boiled, the vampire was piecing himself together like a jigsaw puzzle. “STOP WARDEN!” Becky yelled, louder than she had ever spoke in her life, at Thomas. The beast was more defined now, like a fat grub with a front that was little more than a maw ringed with eyes and a few fat, fuzzy legs. It moved faster than something that awkwardly shaped should be able to, tearing up the tile in a bear-like lope. Becky didn’t have the power left to summon Gilgamesh again, and with his size, no mere barrier of shadows would stop him. She reached for the grenade dispenser in Thomas’ hands and tried to rip it away, mashing the buttons as quick as she could, dumping out grenades in red and blue. She threw them as fast as she extracted them to riddle Warden’s body. Blue flames erupted all over his body and a toxic red cloud that sank to the ground like the world’s worst fog broke down his flesh into something with less structure than wet cardboard. His weakened legs fell apart under him and he hit the ground, charge becoming a slide. Shards of tile were thrown up before his enormous body, pelting Becky and those near her. She ducked and covered, ignoring the few bruises and cuts she got from the ordeal to watch him as new limbs began to grow. While she kept an eye on him, one good hit from Haruko’s hammer had cracked apart the shell of bone at Warden’s core. Like an eggshell, parts were falling away, revealing a frozen corpse. A massive and alien figure was curled around Ariana in a fetal position, holding her like a teddy bear. The temperature dropped like a rock. Frost appeared on every surface. The Bringer of Winter stood and took a step out of the stump. Warden grumbled and the entire ceiling became a patchwork of portals, extending into the darkness and certainly into other levels of the house, if not beyond. “Ariana…” Eve put a hand over her mouth like she was going to be ill, eyes showing nothing but pain. Huntsman was just frozen, skin crawling as he looked at the being that rested a foot on the ground, other still on Warden’s anemone-like stump. Ariana was stiff and rigid in one arm, still holding her tight.
It was clear she was huge, but her size seemed to fluctuate as she moved, one second 10 feet, the next filling the whole room. Despite this, she looked scrawny and naked, all bare flesh, raw and frostbitten. Only her head was anything different, an oversized sparkling orb that looked like a disco ball made from crushed together ice. She lacked eyes, but Haruko and Loveline would feel her gaze regardless. The temperature plummeted like a crashing plane in the whole room, but closer to her, things had already gone far beyond the point of zero. Her hand reached out slowly, almost gently, to touch the magical girls she saw. Becky spun away from Warden and looked in horror at what had been unleashed. Huntsman and Eve hadn’t been able to describe what they would see if they failed beyond the basics. It hadn’t really struck her before now. Blades of shadow spread from her hands. This thing would destroy everything she had ever cared about. Alexis’ fire couldn’t warm her from this cold, nor could even Arthur survive it. Becky charged, blades outstretched. Every tree, bear, frog, monkey, and fish would die unless Becky killed this thing right here and now. She jumped drawing back a claw to spear its neck. She didn’t make it halfway. It was like taking a bath in liquid nitrogen, but that was a point on the thermometer long passed now. She didn’t even have time to realize how cold it was before she was frozen through. Her body hit the ground and shattered. Huntsman was snapped from his shock at Winter’s arrival. He could only incoherently scream as his body turned itself inside out. Bones ripped out of flesh to become claws, the unsupported flesh thrashed like it had a mind of its own, organs dissolved to make way for more weapons of war. He charged, but not for the Demon God. Her lashed a tendril for Thomas’ neck to whip him off the ground, eyestalks extending to look him in the eye at a distance. “You stupid little bitch! I gave you those fucking grenades for a reason! You didn’t use them and it killed Becky! It killed everybody! I can’t kill that thing, but I can make sure your last moments are as horrible as possible!” He roared, talons extending to gut Thomas, but the tendril holding him snapped off, frozen through. “No! No! Not without my revenge!” Huntsman tried to approach his intended victim, but one of his legs similarly shattered. “Eve! Eve, say you’re here!” He yelled, throat starting to freeze up now. “I hear you, Huntsman.” Eve lay on her back, staring at the portals above. They weren’t a bad view for her last. “Fucking hell, I thought for sure you’d outlive me by a good few centuries.” Huntsman coughed and his jaw was sealed. “So did I. But this isn’t so bad. I don’t have to outlive Garo, or Malcolm, or Aria…” Eve’s jaw couldn’t move any more, and soon, the two froze, and the servant of Winter was once more the last of his kind.

Alex stands still and watches with amusement as the Vampire attempts to resemble itself. The gruesome hunter gradually approaches the chucks of meat and readies to fire at the reforming vampire pieces with his Colt. A weapon design to permanently end tricky bastards like this by removing a creature's regenerative abilities. However as he approaches the creature he could suddenly feel the temperature of the room changing, which is quickly followed by a series of events which he could barely keep up with. Yet none of them could garner his attention anymore once he witnesses the arrival of the Bringer of Winter. Her appearance matching perfectly to the vision he had of her. Fear grips the hunter as he swings his gun around and fires at Winter. Hoping to kill it before it could kill him. However even as the bullets leaves the barrier of this gun, in the back of his mind where the remains of his sanity still exists, he knew he is powerless to stop this creature. As he could feel the supernatural cold about to finish him, the sensation of freezing into an endless eternity ceases. He takes a moment to examine himself only to be shock to discover a thin greenish aura around his body...
"WARDEN!!!" Leora yelled as the portal closes at the top of the hillside. She stares at the space where the portal had just vanish with wide eyes as she couldn't believe what she just saw. The image of the large array of demon gods burns deeply within her mind, but it was Warden's words that pierced her heart. "Warden..." She mumbles to herself before tears behind to roll down her cheeks as she couldn't even begin to fathom the suffering Warden must had endure for such an unbelievable amount of time. [There are no need for tears, Child]. A gentle breeze suddenly expands throughout the area. Trees begin to sway with the breeze, and the nearby animals suddenly stand still and in unison look towards the hillside that Leora stood on. The delicate wind wipes the tears off the Vessel of Compassion's cheeks. Leora closes her eyes for a moment as she recollects herself before opening them again to finally notice the world she was sent to. "How-?" Before she could even ask, Compassion answers. She remains silent as this is the first time she believes Compassion has expose some sort of vulnerability to her. As she looks at the world around her, she couldn’t help but marvel at the peaceful image before her. The location is much the same, with the exception that the mansion is much smaller and surrounded by other houses. She could view people casually enjoying their lives. Children playing. Adults chattering with cheerful expressions on their faces. She even sees a few family picnics. She looks down the slope of the hill and suddenly gasps. Once more she could feel small tears forming at the corner of her eyes as she sees a familiar face under a tree. She looked exactly like the Ariana of Leora’s world, just with hair cropped shorter and a deep tan from the hot Mexican sun. She wore simple clothing, a slightly oversized t-shirt and ragged jeans. A lighter clicked fruitlessly in her hands as she tried to light the cigarette in her mouth. She glanced up and saw Leora staring down at her. Instantly she pocketed the cigarette and lighter and held out her hands. “I swear, I’ve never done it before! I was just trying it out!” Fear turned to interest when she realized she had never seen Leora before. “Hm? Are you friends with the rich guys on the hill?” She tapped her chin as she examined the newcomer standing above her.Leora tilts her head in slight confusion to the question. As she moves she could feel the slight weight of something on her head shifting to the side. She slowing reaches up to feel what is on her head and is surprise to feel the light fabric of a sun hat. She quickly looks down to finally realize that her outfit has change from a peace symbol army uniform to one of her typical yellow sundresses. When exactly did her clothes change? In her bewilderment she didn’t answer this girl’s question. Instead she simply takes the time to study her face a bit more. Without a doubt in her mind the girl before her is Ariana, however she couldn’t prevent herself from blurring out, “Ariana...”
The girl raised an eyebrow. “Uh, sorry miss. I’m Marie. Do I look like somebody you know?” She smiled just like Ariana, that lightly confused grin. Leora takes a moment to answer. Unsure what exactly to say besides the truth. “Yes. You remind me of a sweet girl I know.” Marie must be this world’s version of Ariana she thought to herself. “Sorry if I startled you Marie. My name is Leora.” As Leora exchanges her name she also extends her hand while also wearing one of her classic bright smiles that appears to outshine the sun. “Leora? Oh, so you totally aren’t from around here! Where are you from? A big city!? Overseas even!?” You have no idea how right you are, Leora thought to herself when Marie points out she isn’t from here. “I’m from a small town in California, so sadly I’m not from a big city, nor overseas. I hope I didn’t disappoint you,” she said with small smile, though Leora couldn’t help but wish she is talking to Ariana right now.
“That’s still so far away! One day I’ll go to the United States. That’ll be my first stop seeing the world.” Her vision went distant as she looked over the hills. Leora would have see this look before, when Ariana talked about adventuring at sea back on Nassau. At this moment Leora wondered if Warden had sent her on purpose. Beyond just saving her from his plan. Maybe he knew about Marie, and how similar she is to Ariana. Maybe he too had a dream besides his plot against the demon gods. She recalled his words right before he push her through the portal: "When this is all done, I will join you." Leora could feel a warm sensation radiating from within. With a confident smile the vessel of Compassion reaches into her hidden pocket to feel the warmth of her gem. [We must get going, Leora. Before it is too late.]
“Thank you, Marie. You help me realized that I need to save not one, but two people,” Leora without hesitating wraps her arms around Marie in the warm embrace of a hug. “And I know someday you’ll accomplish your dream.” Marie stiffened when hugged. “Huh? Are you… okay there?” Her smile was even more confused now. Leora releases the girl and begins to giggle. “I wasn’t before, but I’m fine now.” Leora begins to walk away back towards the top of the hill. Yet just before reaches its apex she turns around and looks directly at Marie and lifts her hands up to reveal a cigarette box and a lighter. “By the way, you’re too young to be smoking, and its very bad for you!,” she finished with a stern expression as she puts the cigarette box and lighter away. Yet her ‘stern’ look lasts for only a split second before she returns to her usual cheerful demeanor. Marie’s confused smile dissolved to sheer confusion as she patted her pockets.
Leora proceeds to take out the small emerald and wraps both of her hands around the precious gem, and presses it against her chest. A small green light begins to emit from the gem. Managing to shine though Leora’s fingers and begins to envelope her entire body. The Vessel of Compassion takes a deep breath before she utters: “With the power of defense I wield, I cast away the battlefield, In the end, all evil yields, Stand behind me, Emerald Shield!!!” The aura of greenish light surrounding her immediately flares and begins to shine at an incredible luminosity. Anyone looking directly at Leora would become momentarily blinded by the sudden glow. As the light gradually dies down, the vessel of Compassion’s magical girl form is revealed:
Leora looks at Marie one last time and puts one finger against her lip in the hushing motion before winking with a sly smile. The small angelic wings on her back begin to move up and down a few times before she vanishes into a column of green light that launches into the sky above. Leaving only the faintest green streak across the sky, which also soon dissipates. Leora soon leaves that word without a single trace of her ever being there.
Marie’s thoughts were lost to awe for a good while at what she had just seen. Something that hadn’t hit her in a very long time was washing through her. Her heart was beating faster than ever before as a smile ran away with her face. What was she thinking before? Travel the world? That’s it!? There was magic out there! Marie looked down at her hands. Did magic flow through these too? She pulled the cigarette she had tried to smoke earlier from her pocket, never placed back in the pack in her panic. With a single movement, she tossed it to the dirt and crushed it under her heel. She had better things to do now.
As Eve and Huntsman are frozen to their cores, the clouds directly above the mansion begin to glow faintly green as a beam of light slams right into the roof of the massive complex. The beam breaks though the structure until it delivers its passenger directly in front of the Bringer of Winter and Warden. As the light fades, the vessel of Compassion stands there still emitting a slightly green aura. She had left her smile in the other world and stares directly at Winter holding Ariana’s lifeless body and realized she had failed. She arrive too late to save Ariana. Yet, she knew she didn’t have much time before the entire universe would be in danger. She will have to grief later. For now, she must focus on saving everyone else. She quickly evokes Compassion to lead her the strength needed to protect the world. Leora folds her hands together as if she is praying and closes her eyes. “BARRIER!” she cries out. Suddenly the entire complex around them is encase in a massive green dome.
As the name implies, the power of Emerald Shield grants Leora an ability that she can use to protect others. Yet the barriers of energy that Leora creates are not simple energy constructs design to prevent harm, but rather whenever Leora creates a barrier, the area within the barrier itself is separated from the world around the barrier. In essence, the creation of the barrier is also the creation of a pseudo pocket dimension. However it important to note that these barriers are not invincible, and can still be destroyed by many means, including brute force. However for Leora’s purposes, her barriers would serve as a temporary means of preventing Winter from ruining the universe. The entire point behind the dome she has created is to remove Winter from the rest of the universe, thus preventing Winter’s power from affecting anything behind this place. However she did not simply just make one massive barrier.
Inside this massive green dome, Leora begins to sweat excessively as she begins to concentration harder and harder. “BARRIERS!” She screams. Soon after creating the massive dome barrier she quickly proceeds to create numerous barriers around each of her allies. Though unlike the shape of a sphere dome, instead her companions will discover what appears to be thin green membrane outlining their bodies. While these barriers are incredibly fragile they will serve the purpose of removing her friend’s physical bodies from her newly created pseudo pocket dimension containing the Bringer of Winter. Thus preventing Winter’s powers from reaching them as well.
However, this degree of concentration is overwhelming Leora to the point of nearly blacking out. As she struggles to maintain her barriers she calls out to the one person she believed could save them all:
“Arthur! Please hurry! I don’t think I will be able to hold this up for much longer!!!”

The boy tried to stop Becky but it was too late, now, he had both Eve and Huntsman froze. He tried his best to think for a way to save the girl at the point of doing nothing… it was his fault that those three were in danger… Ariana was dead and now, they were facing that horrible creature. When the room began to lose its temperature, despite being warm in the outside, he remembered those feelings… remorse, weakness, dread combined with the intoxicating air filled with murder, death and blood, all of them being devoured by winter. He experienced something similar years ago when he lose both his older brother and mother. He even remembered the attacks of the vampires… as well light-blue flames. Despite his whole body was trembling he didn’t feel the drop of the temperature, he was sure that it was going to be temporal, he prayed once more for Becky’s sacrifice, Ariana’s death and for both Huntsman and Eve to be safe, as well he wished for their succeed. With tears that turned into frozen pearls at the very moment they separated from his body, the boy opened his mouth
“For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done…”
Chloe opened her eyes, she didn’t believe what the kid was doing, but it was about at the right time to do it, the Bringer of Winter was a threat for the entire world and Warden himself was already another disaster. She let out a sigh as she recalled… Matthew 16:27.
“…Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its wings get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near”
She remembered, fragment of Matthew 24:32 as her being was being called; she didn’t need to ask permission, she didn’t need a clear order. It was the boy's heart that ringed while opening its doors.
Then a thunder appeared as the remaining magic circles that protected the boy disappeared like a broken mirror. His hair and eyes turned into a reddish color in which destruction and chaos made their presence. The wolf was nowhere to be found but her howling was heard among the trumpets of Heaven. The dark coat the young priest was wearing turned into a white one, his last card showed up according to the dangerous situation that they were facing.
Now… is my turn to fulfill this mission – Thomas voice was different, it sounded feminine but it lacked all emotion and the warm of his kind heart – My name is Chloe and I’m an Angel of the Lord
Her vessel’s hand moved erasing the barriers that Leora put on them, many purple pentagrams appeared as well absorbing the sound around them, they were charging like massive tanks of destruction aiming at the Bringer of Winter and Warden.

Her mind was casting for other options before Leora’s shields finally came and surrounded her. She dropped to the bottom and took deep, shuddering breaths. This wouldn’t last forever, she knew. She looked down and saw Arthur being similarly protected. She knew what was about to happen and what she needed to do. A hammer began to form in her hands.
Arthur managed to get the vampire under the opening made by Loveline with help from the others, but that didn’t do much. It barely slowed down the vampire, but at least it affected him. With time, they could probably take him down. Unfortunately, they didn’t have time. When Thomas told the magical girls what that dispenser could do, Loveline almost instantly had an idea. Her main issue were the tentacles that popped up when she tried to cut Warden open, and if she could light him on fire she could probably stop them long enough to get Ariana out. But before she could propose the idea, Becky took the dispenser from Thomas and started throwing random grenades Warden. Haruko took the opportunity to open him up and reveal Ariana.
But they were too late. Instead of Ariana, they saw her corpse held by a creature escaping understanding. A scrawny, frostbitten body with a strange head, constantly shifting in size, a being that made Loveline’s entire body shudder in fear, or perhaps from the cold. Loveline jumped back to escape it but couldn’t even remember to fire at it. Maybe it was just the shock of seeing her friend’s body like that. She’d seen dead bodies before. Plenty of them. She even made a lot of them. But this was Ariana! And Loveline just couldn’t believe it.
Haruko practically wilted when the Bringer of Winter stood. The cold surrounding her was nothing compared to the ice her heart pumped. "Ariana..." She drifted backwards, away from Winter's grasping hand. She threw javelins of light, but they harmlessly bounced off. Did it recognize Ariana's friends? What did it want with her!? The cold increased so quickly she felt her fingers freezing. A bubble of light appeared around her, but the cold dropped so quickly the shield didn't help.
Arthur saw Ariana’s body, too. He felt his rage boiling up, but he too was paralyzed by fear. The thing that scared him wasn’t the creature itself. It was the fact that he was… Cold. With all his cold resistance, he still felt a chill just from standing in its presence for a few moments. Nothing like what the others felt probably, but it was still unprecedented. Love and Arthur’s allies didn’t seem to have the same fears as they did, apparently. Becky charged at it first and was frozen solid. Perhaps Arthur could help thaw her out if they got her out of the cold aura, but then she fell to the ground and shattered. Arthur couldn’t help with that. Eve and Huntsmen followed. They were both angry at the outcome, although for slightly different reasons. They two were frozen over in mere seconds.
Before anyone else could play hero and die a quick death, Leora appeared in a flash of green light. She made a barrier around everyone. She seemed to be struggling to keep it up, but it protected everyone for the moment. A pointless effort, a mere delay on the clock counting down to everyone’s demise. The priest and dog apparently didn’t think much of the barrier. They appeared to merge somehow and dispelled the barrier around themselves before trying to destroy the demon god with an attack of their own. How cocky…
Winter tapped at the shield around Haruko, seemingly interested in it. She didn’t turn to the priest as he allowed his angelic companion to possess him until he glowed white. Her head glittered in his light as she stepped towards him, away from Haruko. The pentagrams went off. The entire floor around Winter was blown into dust, shrouding her in shadow. But almost immediately, her silhouette became clear. The demon god stepped out of the dust, entirely unharmed.
“So, what did you let happen here?” MOG’s familiar voice came from behind Arthur. He leaned on the verdant dome that delayed Arthur’s demise.
Arthur turned around, surprised to see MOG managed to get inside the barrier. “What? How did you… Never mind! I didn’t let anything happen here! There’s nothing I can do! She’s… She’s too cold, even for me!”
“Before that, you putz.” MOG rolled his neck. “Your daughter got in the way of destroying Ariana while you had the chance, and now the whole universe will pay for it.” He looked out at the scene, watching ice climb the pillars as the world only grew colder. His eyes found the fallen Becky and he stroked his chin.
“That’s… No, she made the right choice, we just don’t have any plans for how to do it better. We can’t let Ariana die. But we also can’t have the universe getting destroyed. Dammit Yami, can’t you make a rule to stop this? ‘The universe can’t freeze over’ or ‘Ariana cannot turn into a demon god’ or something like that?” Arthur looked at MOG with desperation in his eyes. Between one person and many people, it was obvious which to pick. But Arthur cared about this one person. And MOG was a demon god, too. If anyone could make this work, it would be him.
“My powers only extend so far. 20 meters, more or less. I can no more defend your whole universe than you can. No, this is up to you.” He prodded Arthur’s chest with a pointed finger. “You have to turn back time to before she manifested. That or try to kill Winter, but that’s not likely. The only ones here who have even seriously inconvinienced my sisters on her level are already frozen.”
“We started this before she manifested and we failed! How far back do you think we’d need to go? What’s that going to accomplish anyway? If her manifestation could be stopped somehow without killing her, wouldn’t Eve and Huntsman have already tried it?”
The Master was silent for a long moment, clearly thinking. “Huntsman knows a way.” He finally said. “He didn’t want to tell you cause he knew you’d insist upon it, but I guess there really is no other way to fix this now. There is a catch though, and you are not going to like it.” MOG giggled, starting to look more like his regular self.
“Huntsman knew a way? That bastard… I’m gonna kick his ass right after this… Just tell me what I need to do.” Arthur said with determination. If Huntsman didn’t want to suggest it, he must have guessed the catch wasn’t bad enough for Arthur to refuse.
“Huntsman knows spells for banishing all the demon gods, but he has less mana than a goldfish. He couldn’t cast dancing lights if he swallowed firecrackers. Are you aware of his assimilation? Where he absorbs a being into himself and takes their memories? He can do that temporarily, a fusion of body and mind. And you’re the lucky bastard who gets to share the driver’s seat.”
“...I’ll do it. As long as he promises to spit me out after it, I’ll do it. I can’t imagine fusing with a monster like him will be pleasant, but it’s a small price to pay. Now, any recommendations how far back I should go?”
“Your Ariana died only seconds before Haruko opened Warden’s defenses. Have her do that quicker and I can slow the process. I can’t do it indefinitely, but I can do it.” The Master glanced back at the vampire’s parts. “He’s the problem. Him and Warden. If the rest of you keep them off us, I can delay her manifestation and you can banish her.”
“Alright… If Becky, Haruko and that kid are enough to open up Warden, I’ll tell Love to take over with the vampire. You have anything else to add? No? Then…”
Arthur channeled his mana out of his body, filling up the world and starting to turn back time. It was harder than it usually was. Much harder. It was like trying to turn back the Niagara falls with a bucket. Like Winter’s presence was cold enough to freeze the concept of time. Arthur struggled and struggled, but made little progress. He summoned Accel End and used it as a focus to amplify his time magic. It was still tough, but it was working. Time started turning back for everyone and everything outside Leora’s barriers. The spreading frost retreated, pieces of shattered ally started coming together, and Winter’s cold, eyeless gaze stared at him, as if she could still tell what was happening. Soon his body started screaming. HIs mana pathways ached from the exercise. It was like the morning after a very tough gym visit, only even worse. Accel End started cracking from the exertion, from the mana going through it just to make this work. But Arthur didn’t stop.
Eventually the world was better. The vampire stood there, imposingly, confidently, still feeling he was on top of the world. The fact that both holes in the roof were gone probably helped.. Warden was still a monster womb intent on protecting it’s terrifying fetus, unaware it had already come out once. And Arthur fell to his knees, Accel End shattering into pieces as soon as it hit the ground. But the frost mage didn’t pay it any heed. Instead he looked for Huntsman, now whole and healthy although he lacked memories of Winter as well.
“Leora, put the barriers down. Loveline, attack the vampire. And you!” Arthur looked at Huntsman with pure rage. As soon as the barriers went down, he ran at him at full speed and grabbed him by whatever seemed the most grabbable at the moment.
“You bastard! There was always a way, but you didn’t tell me! Fuse with me, Huntsman! Fuse with me so we can banish Winter and we will save everyone. Or do you want the universe to freeze!? Because it already did once, and I won’t let these people die. I won’t see Ariana or Becky’s dead bodies again!”
“Ariana… what the fuck are you talking about, Elsa?” Huntsman cocked his head. “What happened to Becky!?” Huntsman looked around Arthur, finding Becky holding Eve’s grenade dispenser. He startled when Haruko dove down to smash through Warden’s bony shell with a hammer of light. “Hurry up and tell him, I’ve got the tentacles!” She called as she fired rays at the thrashing anemone tentacles that attempted to keep her away from Ariana. “What… did you do!?” Huntsman glared at Arthur with one eye, the other swiveling to see the pieces of Accel End laying shattered on the floor.
“You wanna know what happened? Fuse with me and see for yourself! You’ll see my memories, won’t you? Then you can use whatever magic you know to save Becky, Ariana, and the rest of the universe. Banishing, offensive, defensive… I don’t care, use all my mana.” Arthur pulled out a few pieces of blue candy from his pocket. “Just don’t try fire. I don’t think that would work out well for either of us.” He swallowed the candy, replenishing the mana he spent on the time magic.
“Avatars cannot manifest.” A golden voice called from the mountain of flesh that was Warden’s lower half. “Now hurry up, he’ll be upon us.” MOG pointed to the vampire, reforming after Alex’s wires cut him apart. “Fuck. He told you, didn’t he?” Huntsman snarled back and held out a hand. “If you won’t just stab her, I guess we have no choice. I promise that neither of us will like this.”
“I bet. But it means saving Ariana.” Arthur took Huntsman’s hand. Instantly Huntsman’s cells began to infiltrate Arthur’s. Arthur would both see and feel his flesh becoming liquid as it mingled with Huntsman’s. It felt like he was being squeezed through a sieve, being pushed into tiny bits. The feeling spread was Huntsman folded out into a shape like a planarian and folded over Arthur. Huntsman poured over and into Arthur, engulfing organs, turning him inside out and upside down.
Finally, Arthur’s mind was taken in. It didn’t come apart like his body, instead finding Huntsman’s own. First, there was a violent storm of thoughts as their minds recognized similar images. Becky, but not the same Becky. Becky seen as a child but also a sexual adult. Both reeled at each other’s version. Worse were the other places they clashed. Both interacted often with children. Arthur was a defender, but he now saw dozens he couldn’t defend. Avatars, cut down before they could destroy the world. Arthur’s rage rippled through their shared headspace, earning a snarl back. “We don’t have time for this! And stop thinking about Becky as a kid, it’s fucking weird.” Huntsman hissed, but also fired off a memory of himself entangled with Becky in bed, just to irritate his guest. “You monster. I wonder how much she knows about the innocent kids you killed.” Arthur fired back, doing his best to ignore Becky in poses he never wanted to imagine her in.
“She knows it was necessary to keep people like him out of our world.” Huntsman turned eyes like Arthur’s to MOG. “Now let’s go.” Huntsman jumped up to look down at Ariana. Her lips were blue as the sky, her skin pale as ice. Huntsman just nodded and sprouted two extra arms. “Let the casting begin!” He felt the tingle of mana for the first time as Warden roared.

As soon as the barriers dropped, Loveline rushed closer to the vampire and fired off pattern 60, the same multiplying beams she fired last time, right above the vampire.
"Pattern 30: Poinsettia Flash! Pattern 13: Helianthus Orb!" Loveline fired two bullets at the vampire. The first one burst into a blinding light. The second turned into a large fiery orb, coming straight at the vampire. She wanted to keep fighting Warden. She wanted to be the one to help Ariana. But after what happened, she knew keeping the vampire at bay was the best she could do. She wasn't gonna fail Ariana. Not again.
"Eat this, you overgrown mosquito!" She followed up the helianthus orb with a downward slash of her scythe.
Arthur let Huntsman have full control of the generated mana. What he himself did was use the rage he felt from Huntsman's deplorable deeds to draw on the blessing of Wolfenhardt and further increase the strength of the magic aimed at the only person in the room who would cause more child suffering; Warden himself.

Listening, watching, feeling, stopped. Chloe was motionless as she witnessed how everything went back; time was being rewinded as those that couldn’t control or detected the change of reality went back to their previous status. Even the one that broke in million pieces went back to live as the frozen bodies were warm again. She wasn’t affected but she knew the owner of the body she was using wouldn’t remember a thing; she’ll have to explain Thomas why she “disobeyed” him. She knew he was going to be… not mad, but frustrated at her, thinking that she didn’t have enough confidence to let him take care of things. Still, she wouldn’t deny that he made the best decision by letting her control his body. When the machine broke, she couldn’t help but make a wicked smile at Huntsman, she needed to make him “pay” by that joke of an insult before they entered the House of Eternity. But now that wasn’t the time for it. You two, work together and stop that thing before it kills the girl – She said indifferently as she observed the Vampire that once again was being nothing but a nuisance, the same for Warden She aimed the pentagrams towards the two creatures but in Warden’s case she made sure to aim directly to his upper half. She moved her vessel’s hand making a fist and the pentagrams let out an incredible amount of sound energy, vibrating at a molecular level. Then the angel whistled, Thomas’s head directly pointing at the vampire like if his eyes were a rifle that locked their objective, despite of the soft sound it was like the angel were holding a gun with infinite ammo and shooting at her target. But she stopped by times, letting her vessel’s lips relax a little and give them some saliva to don’t dry them at the point of make them bleed. Then she remembered… that girl Becky was holding Eve’s briefcase. At the speed of sound, she moved Thomas’s body in front of her; she didn’t care if the girl saw her black wings. With a emotionless expression on the boy’s face, the angel spoke. Don’t do things without thinking them enough – She warned, holding the grenades with both hands and some of them floating around her vessel. She aimed again towards the vampire, mercilessly throwing the fire grenades at it. She then proceeded to aim the yellow grenades towards Warden’s face not without telling her “allies” telepathically to cover their eyes and ears. Chloe was sure that Warden will try to prevent Huntsman and Arthur from performing whatever they wanted to do, but it was better to keep the tentacles and flesh out of their way. She tilted Thomas’s neck, making it sound a little, things were going to get pretty nasty, she loved destruction and despair but first, she’ll make sure to see again her boy’s smile… and then kill Huntsman for his treatening towards the poor priest, she’ll make him pay… Thankfully Heaven’s rules couldn’t control her, and couldn’t give her any punishment. The anger pumped her so she could go wild while “protecting” those individuals… she didn’t care about their safety, she wanted Huntsman’s blood in her hands… but she would not let Warden, Winter or even that joke of a Vampire to take him, oh no, he already won the whole lottery numbers, she was not going to let him go that easy.

Leora continues to struggle to keep the large dome barrier around the mansion up as she couldn't afford to let Winter's power corrupt the rest of the universe, however containing this inter dimensional space is proofing far more difficult then she could have ever imagine. The amount of pressure created by the Demon God's presence is already pushing the dome barrier she created to it's limits. She couldn't afford to waste energy on strengthening the barriers around her companions. Instead she puts all her strength and focus on the large dome surrounding them all. She could only maintain the fragile barriers around her more vulnerable teammates, however if any of them were to be attack with any significant force her barriers would likely shatter and they may once again be at the mercy of Winter's fearsome power.
Alex on the other hand couldn't even move a muscle. Not because of Winter, since he is thankfully being protected by one of Leora's smaller barrier surrounding his body. His body is paralyzed by the sheer shock of what he is witnessing. "An...Angel?" he manages to mutter in awe. Alex has never truly been a man of faith, yet upon seeing the angel for the first time in his life, since he has been introduced to this twisted nightmare that is commonly refer to as the hidden world, he could finally feel the slightest glimmer of hope that there is more to this world then monsters to slay, and over powered beings to keep in check. A hope that he may get to see his family once again.

The bitter cold radiating off of Winter was unbearable for Haruko to handle, the shield Laura made being the only barrier between herself and certain death. Her eyes scanned over to the fallen Huntsman and Eve, their frozen bodies laying stuff on the ground below. “...how…” Haruko begins. Was there a way out of this situation? The seamstress rapidly scanned her eyes around the room to look for a way to defeat this being...until it walked next to her and rested its hand on her shield. The mere presence of the demon god was like drip-feeding an IV full of ice water into her veins.
She stood still, not moving her eyes away from the Bringer of Winter. Words refused to form in her mouth. Suddenly...the world began to change. Events seemingly playing out in reverse...Haruko looking up to see Arthur holding up Accel Edge. “...alright, Frosty!” Was all she could exclaim before his sword shattered. She stood there for a moment to take in what had just happened. That legendary blade he had told her about...the one that came from a giant tower in the ground...just shattered? It took a few seconds to process what had just happened; they went back in time.
Much to her horror, Huntsman jumped onto Arthur’s body and began to fuse with him...seemingly willingly. It appeared that Thomas and his angel had also fused together, everyone utilizing their ultimate forms it looked like. A small pang of dread washed over her as Haruko remembered her own ‘super form’ that had been with her for many years. Frowning with determination, Haruko locked eyes upon the mass of flesh nearby.
Haruko skated over to Warden’s lower body to defend Huntsman. She never thought she’d be relying on Huntsman to save the day. It was disturbing to think of. She looked between Huntsman and the priest channeling his angel companion. It would be really nice if I could call up Yamiko and combine like them right now. This situation had her missing Yamiko. That was also disturbing.
Warden’s tentacles writhed and wriggled, extending for the Huntsman-Arthur amalgamation. Haruko drew back her hand like she was preparing to throw a frisbee and lo and behold, a glowing neon pink discus appeared in her hand. “Hurry up, you two! I’ll do what I can!” She threw the disc and it looped around the abomination on remote control, carving through tendrils as it spun round the stump. She had to save mana at this point, and this barely cost any for how effective it was.

The vampire's sliced chunks pressed themselves together and the vampire rose. He was more of a loose coagulation of chunks of meat than a functioning organism at this point, and it grew worse when Loveline's attack came bombing in. Her two orbs, light and fire, worked together to burn away connections, dropping nearly half his body back to the floor. "I would think the mosquito is you, swatted one." The vampire picked up one of his own spear-like finger and chucked it at her like a javelin. He howled in pain and wrath when the angel's blue fire began to pummel him. He batted at the flames, but they refused to go out.
The vampire began backing away from the sunlight and other threats until the only light illuminating him was his remaining, glowing eye and the blazing blue flames on his body. Warden was not so easily harmed. The light from the flashbangs blinded him, but he had senses beyond sight. By scent alone he found the angel, lashing out a tentacle that grew into a grasping, crushing hand. Becky ducked and scrambled away, throwing out spears of darkness that sank right into Warden's flesh without leaving a mark. Without her hair, she was down a significant weapon.
Around Huntsman, the other half of Warden's body was fighting back against Haruko. It began to spit harpoons of bone for her, mixed in with gobs of venomous sludge to weigh her down and poison her body. Huntsman ignored it all. He was too busy. His many arms whipped across the basin, writing bizarre symbols in his own blood. He scrawled them on every surface. Warden, Ariana, and his own palms. "You're going to have to trust me again, Arthur." Huntsman spilled two blades of bone into his palms. Beginning to chant, he ripped off Ariana's sleeves and threw them away so he could drew symbols on her shoulders. With a choked yelp, he stabbed the bone blades into the her shoulders. She twitched and jumped in her cold half-sleep. Blood sprayed, but that wasn't the only change. With a series of pops and crunches, two extra sets of arms shoved their way out of Ariana's shoulders. Her eyelids fluttered opened and she looked up in confusion. "Don't move or I'll break your spine to keep you still." He ordered as he extended his arms to draw symbols on these new palms. "What... what's going on?" Ariana whispered through blue lips.

Chloe smirked at Warden's attempt of make her surrender - What a patetic little creature you are, so blind by your own misery of trying to be something Holy... - Moving Thomas's with an open palm the angel invoqued again her purple magic, forming a big ball of energy as she moved her vessel's lips but nothing could be hear from them, the eyes redder than before as thunders announced Chaos and Dispair coming from the Angel's movements. ... Erase any hope, after all neither you or me could become something like that - At the moment she finished her speech, she threw the ball direct to Warden's upper half, aiming at his mouth. Then she made new pentacles to appear almost touching her fingertips, holding them like fans as she moved Thomas body with grace and elegance. Having a ageless life made her learn a lot of things in this vast world, now, she was copying the movements of mikos, those japanese priestess, but her intentiones were different from them. Her movements aimed towards the tentacled that were attacking her, while doing it, each step became more and more stronger, aiming all the sound energy to the ground, making it quake. She tried to get closer to protect Hunstman, Arthur and Ariana, but that damn creature was already bothering her, growling, she crossed her arms and then threw the symbols to shove Warden again, as her black wings again showed with feathers fired like arrows to the monster's body.
She invoqued a new pentagram to dome Hunstman Ariana and herself inside it. She began chanting in a different language, Enochian, trying to invoque the help of other angels to increase the attacks of her allies so they could become stronger in their fight, as well she asked to give Ariana more strenght... She knew she'll have to pay for it, probably that'll mean some time separated from Thomas, Derek and Gallerian, but it will be worth it, she sighed as she continued as she felt a tear coming out from Thomas's eye, she knew deep in her heart it wasn't hers.

Loveline didn't expect the vampire to throw his own fingers at her. It hit her right in the gut and she let out a pained yelp. She gripped the end sticking out of her stomach and pulled it out. She closed the hole that was left there using her shapeshifting.
"That's not swatting. It's piercing. And this..." She threw the finger in the air and fired a helianthus orb at it. "... is incinerating. But this..." She pulled the trigger on her scythe, but instead of a bullet out came a colorful line only a few meters long. The line then spread over the edge of her scythe, giving it the appearance of an oversized knife with a rainbow-colored blade. Loveline rushed towards the vampire and tried smacking him upwards with the flat side of her blade. "...is swatting. Now! Finisher: Rainbow's virtue!" She slashed at the vampire both vertically and horizontally. "With love and justice, I repel the evil from this world. Repent or die!"
Arthur watched Ariana wake up through Huntsman's eyes. She was confused and Arthur wanted to make her feel better. His desire made a mouth appear on Huntman's chest. "Don't worry, Ariana. Everything... Most things will be alright. We're just saving the world and we'll need you rested to celebrate afterwords. So save your energy and don't move."
