Fumi turned the tip of her gloved finger over the glimmering glass, shrugging her shoulders in answer to Eve’s statement, only to grab the glass and turn on her stool, immediately pouring the liquid on the ground. Depositing the glass back on the bar, Fumi leapt over the bar with a humph, grabbing a gleaming bottle that had grabbed her attention before whistling and popping the top off and pouring it in a similar fashion as she looked with a wince at the screen in a nonchalant manner. Seemed Falken was just as awful here, she could agree with Garo on that one.
With the foul smelling liquid puddle forming to a halt on the ground, Fumi tossed the bottle in a similar fashion to the chalk from earlier, causing it to disappear. Again, she hopped over the bar and made her way to the dusty window, scraping away at the built up dust to try and get a feel for what the outside looked like. What did this would this world provide? What was the challenge this time…
Grumpily, Fumi huffed and left the dusty and difficult to see through window, going to Falken’s side now that she had finished doing what she wanted, tracing her finger into the dust at her feet. “Are you gonna do this every time? Do you need something?” She rested her arms in a folded manner on top of her knees, nestling her head against them until just her eyes were visible.

Even behind the castle walls, John could feel the earth shake when the cube went off. He looked to the skies for his blue flames, and seeing none, launched himself up to check on his teammates. An eye in the sky was the best bet for any wounded. He ignored the barrier to search for the others and quickly checked them off. He sighed with relief when he spied all of them perfectly intact below. Now came his attention to the fading barrier and its odd inhabitant.
From his vantage point, he couldn't hear what the strange man was talking about, but he guessed that the man in a skull mask might be a bad guy. His suspicions became stronger when the blades of water flashed out for everybody around him. High above, John had plenty of time to dodge, wheeling out of the way to watch the filthy water flow by. John guessed there was no penicillin in this dimension, and his own antibiotics in his first aid kit might not do much against extradimensional bacteria. Still, he'd treat anybody cut later. For now, he dove foot first right at the necromancer's back, seeking gravity's help to flatten him. "So, chains, black robes and a skull mask? They haven't invented subtlety in your universe yet it seems." He taunted just after he either impacted or missed.
"Upon his failed assassination attempt Falken Degiraz left the city and nobody has seen him since, rumors place him on the ruined American Continent. Any information about his whereabouts would be highly rewarded." Eve glanced at her Falken on the floor. She wondered who was running this place if their Falken was gone. A few more glances and she was wondering a lot more. "Huh. Their Falken looks a lot like ours." The image passed before she could do any deep study, but a suspicion was beginning to build. A missing Falken, his odd behavior passing through the dimensional portals, the similarity of this Falken to the other...
She was snapped out of her train of thought by Garo. "Here? Hm... Hey, let's check out the martial arts tournament the TV lady mentioned. Maybe I can hire some badasses from this world now that we know we're allowed to pick up hitchhikers." It seemed like there was no hidden world in this world, so powerful people might be easier to find. Eve greedily rubbed her hands together. She could just imagine the sort of employees she could stack her team with. "Fumi, I have a job for you." She waved the small woman away from the unconcious cyborg. Leaning close to Garo and Fumi, she whispered, careful eyes on Alex and the thief. "Keep an eye on him, Garo. I have some suspicions I'll tell you later. Fumi, look around for any personal effects. You can keep them, I just want to see. He should have some around here."
Eve didn't trust Alex. He was brilliant, but he hid too much in his ugly skull, and she was pretty sure it was just as hideous as the surface. The thief she didn't even know, and him following them just seemed strange to her. He wasn't part of the team. She actually didn't trust Fumi any more than those two. She was a little shit, a baby, and another thief. But Eve also didn't expect her to put the information to bad use. She didn't have evil of that type in her.

As the high pressure and disease loaded projectiles rush towards the earth shaker, he claps his hands together and creates an earth pillar large enough to lift himself and the nearby Gen above the incoming water just in time to avoid being riddle by the infective water. Yet their platform doesn't last long as the projectiles tear apart the base of the pillar. Without hesitation, Jose proceeds to place his hands on his collapsing platform, causing the rocks to reshape underneath their feet until his crumbling column transforms into an arch by including more rocks nearby. With his eyes on the necromancer, he asks Gen, "Do you think if I can you close enough to punch him, you can finish him in one blow?"
Alex continues to stand next to Falken as he watches the TV before turning his attention back at his fallen comrade as he thinks to himself, "There doesn't appear to be much of a difference between our Falken and this world's Falken. Guess he is multiversally consistent." He turns his attention back to his fellow comrades and says,"I suppose we can't take him to a hospital." He looks back down on the convulsing machine man as he retracts his wire threads as he figures he isn't going to be a threat in this state. He looks at the others and notices Eve informing Garo and Fumi of something, but he couldn't make out what she was saying. Yet he took this lack of communication as a sign of her plotting something, causing him to become slightly paranoid. "What is she up to now?" he thought to himself. After thinking about it for a little while, he finally convinces himself that she wouldn't do anything to jeopardize their chances of getting back to their world.
"What to do with you...." he whispered to suffering Falken. He couldn't take him to a hospital, considering the authorities are searching for him. Perhaps they can find someone willing to help them out. Though the chances of that are pretty slim. "If only I knew what is causing these episodes," he told himself as he rubs his ugly jaw. "Is our best bet for us to stay here until the portal opens? Then we just have to get lucky with the next door, or hope his episode ends. But if he dies before then..."

As the cube began to explode from the inside, Alex ceased putting mana into his chains and ducked down behind a pile of rubble as the zombies began to fall apart, releasing a strange black substance as they hit the ground. With no time to celebrate, the substance began to pool together in one location to create the strange skull-faced man who looked more like a tar monster than an actual human or zombie. Judging from the exchange between Callis and the necromancer, Alex made a mental note that they also knew each other and that Callis likely knew how to defeat this man.
Alex sprinted out of cover as the high-pressured sewage water sprayed out of the ground and the HWIC captain made his way toward Callis. "Mr. Nomene! You faced this man before; how do we kill him? His body structure doesn't appear susceptible to most up-front attacks." He states, referencing the strange tar-like substance composing the necromancer's body. Mizuki had a much easier time dodging the water jets given her immense speed advantage, rocketing through the air to survey the new opponent. Judging by his skin, simply slashing his body seemed to be useless...perhaps the skull was vulnerable? After leaping onto a high-up column, Mizuki rockets downward toward the necromancer's head and slashes downward at his skull, aiming to slice his mask in half. Perhaps that was what held his entire body together?

Time. Time was the relevant factor here, not health. Victor's armor protects him from pretty much all kinds of damage, but it can only take so much. At a submolecular level, the armor's atoms rearrange to get the armor bumped and scratched instead of him; to provide him a clear line of sight and fresh air, using a quantum nanofield. None of this would protect him in the face of sustained attacks for more than five minutes. So he dashed forward, knowing he didn't have time to think; he tried to dive directly into the foe, and spark a fire. Something told Victor this guy really didn't like fire. As for his armor, he didn't have a proper flamethrower, not yet, but he did have what he liked to call a sparker. Not of much use unless you happened to have oil, an unlit torch or a pile of firewood nearby, but he hoped this time it could do the trick.

A flood of disconnected fragments of memory crashed into Falken’s mind like a wave crashing into a cliffside. Each time this chaotic disarray of images, sounds and other sensorial remembrances, hit his brain his body convulsed and more dead nanites, burnt out from the energy released by the short circuiting Cyborg, came out from his eyes and mouth, not enough to endanger his capabilities, but more than enough to reduce them until the remaining nanites built replacements. While Falken shivered on the floor, Garo started to follow Eve to the exit, but the door opened before any of them could reach it. The light coming from the midday street entered the room, revealing clouds of dust floating in the air, lifted by the wind coming from the open door.
A trio of figures arrived, a very tall woman dressed in superheroic fashion was leading the group, she was wearing a metallic spandex suit with blue, black and white sections, his mask covered his eyes and the sides of his head, but allowed her pointy chin, perfect teeth and well combed blond hair to be seen, her eyes were covered by blue lenses shining with light coming from his eyes. She was sporting a long cloak that was part of his outfit, made of the same material. To his right there was a japanese man, dressed in a mix-match of traditional samurai clothing, armor pieces and modern clothing, hanging on his back there was a massive sword, seemingly made from piece of dozens or even hundred of sword.
The last man wore a light blue leather armor with silver reinforcement and plating, he was carrying a silver sword, but his most notable feature was the coat of blond-reddish fur covering his body and the red mane around his feline face, he was the largest of the group. They had the air of being people with authority, projecting their presence by just looking at the group. The woman, levitating cm above the floor, was clearly the leader of the group and was the first to speak. -EVILDOERS BEWARE!- She spoke with a faint russian accent and used overly dramatic gesticulations, almost theatrical in nature. -I’m here representing the laws and the people of the fair Inazuma City, the shining pearl of Shin Nihon!- She finally landed, with small gust of wind pushing the dust away from the floor.
She had a military like stance. -I’m the MAJESTIC SOUTHERN CROSS! Protector of Inazuma City! AND I HAVE ARRIVED!- The Superheroine Southern Cross struck a heroic pose as she finished her introduction and without losing her rhythm she moved fluidly to point her index finger, as if she was holding a sword, at the prone Falken. -Deliver the perfidious criminal Falken Degiraz to us, the heroic Private Senshi who work for this glorious metropolis and we will consider a punishment less severe for your maleficent actions, aiding and hiding such a dangerous fugitive!- Her eyes sparked with energy as the men flanking her reacted in different ways. The middle aged urban samurai looked down and shook his head with amused frustration, while the large feline knight nodded in approval, arms crossed and light shining on his eyes.
Garo was quite surprised about the whole thing, mostly because the middle aged man looked really familiar. The Archer was more surprised about the response time, maybe they had technology to detect their interdimensional escapades. Angelico didn’t even bother to listen, the moment he saw the door opening he had crouched behind the counter, drinking his glass while leaning against a beer keg. He didn’t jump dimensions just to get caught by other kind of guards, no matter how beautiful their leader was.
John crashed through the Dreaded Necromancer’s body, the gelatinous substance exploded upon receiving the impact of the Demon’s foot, but ignoring the laws of physics the strange and viscous liquid stopped mid-air and started to return into its previous shape. The taunt did as little as the kick as Mortjus didn’t seem to be faced at all by the comments about his wardrobe, one could say he had thick skin for ridicule, considering how badly he was treated during his early studies of Necromancy, but considering that currently he was more jello-shot than man saying thick skinned doesn’t seem like a proper analogy, maybe one could consider saying that those comments just bounced on him. As he was reforming the rest of the group was planning how to face him.
Gen looked at Jose, opening his eyes and walking up to him. The Hot-Blooded Boxer grabbed the Earth-Shaker by the lapels of his clothing. -ARE YA FUCKIN’ INSANE!?- Gen started shaking him. -I DON’T HAVE FUCKIN’ FIGHTIN’ SPIRIT! I DON’T HAVE FUCKIN’ KI.- The Former Spirit Boxer seemed to be close to a meltdown. -YA FUCKIN’ DIRT LOVIN’ MOTHERFUCKER! DON’T YA HAVE A FUCKIN’ BRAIN? OR DO YA CARRY MORE FUCKIN’ ROCKS INSIDE THAT FUCKIN’ SKULL OF YERS!?- Gen took the Medal from this pocket. -I ONLY HAVE THIS FUCKIN’ PIECE OF GARBAGE AND ANY FUCKIN’ POWER IT GRANTS COMES WITH A FUCKIN’ COST!-
The Hot-Blooded Boxer throw a punch at Jose, even if Jose didn’t use Ki to protect himself it wouldn’t cause much damage. The Former Spirit Boxer lowered his head, barely keeping it together. - Didn’t ya see me strugglin’ to fight these fuckin’ piles of bones?- Gen clutched Jose’s clothing for the last time before letting go and turning around, his fist clenched in anger, the Medal inside of them, his body shivering with frustration, sorrow and rage. -I can’t fuckin’ help ya, for fuck’s sake… I can't fuckin' help myself- And with that Gen started walking to cover, getting away from the fight with his head down. He could help with things like the zombie, but he could understand when he was completely and utterly outclassed.
Meanwhile in the other side of the battlefield Callis was getting up after rolling out of harm’s way. The infected water hit a rock behind him, slicing it cleanly in half. The Beast Knight stood up just as Alex started to inquire about Mortjus. Callis shook his head. -Last time I fought against him he didn’t have this form, he was a human made of flesh and blood…- The Beast Knight leaned out of cover to see the new body of the Necromancer gradually reforming. -I did not actually defeat him during the fight that destroyed this castle, I used a one of a kind relic to destroy another one of a kind relic he was using and the resulting blast caused the castle to implode, myself to be transported to your world and him to die, or so I thought, I think he had some sort of backup to revive.-
When Mortjus was almost completely reformed Victor charged through him, once again, just like what happened after John’s attack, the liquid was suspended in mid-air, as if it was in a zero-g environment, but this time around it didn’t just explode, as part of him remained solid enough to attempt to entangle the Armored Youth’s leg. If successful the Necromancer would use the elasticity of his new body to snap back into shape, launching Victor directly at a large boulder. As he did that the upper part of his body was reforming faster than before. -I never thought I would come back… I would come back… I would come back…- For a moment he repeated the phrases, as a scratched record, but he resumed talking on a proper manner afterwards.
-For the moment I don’t care about any of you people from beyond the boundaries of this world, I only desire to decapitate Callis Nomene and feed his body to the Spiked Sea, so the creatures deep beneath the spires can feast on him.- The Beast Knight looked at Alex and Mizuki. -I’m not completely sure, but I think his new body shares similar properties as the corrupted Cibus he pumped into the corpses to turn them into undead.- Mortjus shouted. -MES NOMENE! COME ON OUT AND PLAY! OR I WILL RAZE THIS RUINS UNTIL I FIND YOU!- Callis bit his lip, knowing he couldn’t take more time to explain as Mortjus was starting to chant.
Primus Circulus, Chorus Secundus, Inpurus Aqu-
The Necromancer stopped upon seeing Callis coming out from the cover. The Beast Knight only managed to add. -I'm going to distract him... We need Mes Chandler’s strength.- Before walking forward towards the cackling Mortjus. -GUEGUEGUEGUE!- His laughter was disgusting, the wet sounds created by the reverberation of his chuckles against bubble-like membranes forming on his mouth gave it a quite appaling feel to it. -So we meet again half blooded bastard… I thought you died alongside me when you recklessly attacked my staff, but it seems you’re more durable than what I thought.- The Necromancer lifted his goey finger pointing at Callis. -I can smell magic from beyond the boundary…-
He was clearly distracted by Callis and was starting to babble, it was quite easy to notice that his new body wasn’t working as expected, at least when it came to cognitive capabilities.

The small, somber, puff of a girl found herself reigned in by Eve's pull with a strength she certainly couldn't resist. Brought into a huddle of the strangest company, Fumi had her lips pursed in a permanent pout; this place was boring, there wasn't anything worth stealing here unless she wanted to start a dust collection...which she already had!!
However, Fumi's bored gaze perked with Eve's new, and interesting, orders. Her ruby red gaze glinted, invigorated with new purpose and excitement, all while the most dastardly of mischievous smiles graced her lips. Finally, now this was something she could get behind!! With a gloved hand, Fumi stood up straight, giving a mock salute followed with a wink while she spun away from the group with a quick turn against her heel. Yet her path took her not to the bar...but to the unconscious Falken upon the ground; it'd seemed the Thief misunderstood Eve's orders. Whether this was intentional or not, she would never explain.
Kneeling down, Fumi watched as the man writhed and convulsed, a faint hit of pity on her expression; whatever was happening to him sure looked painful. Reaching forward with a gloved hand as his orifices expunged more of that gross, black goo from before, Fumi made way to gently rub at the sticky bits pouring from the corners of his eyes and mouth, only to grab his chin and begin tilting his head while she hummed in her head. Fumi wasn't one to help without there being motive behind it, and it seemed that Falken didn't have any hidden jewelry anywhere else on his head; no piercings, no interesting head piece...she should have figured, Falken seemed flashy...but only with his guns. Wiping her glove off on his chest, Fumi began to filch through Falken's pockets, eager to see what exciting possessions the cyborg had on his person.
It was midway through the third pocket that Fumi's delighted expression was one of exhausted indifference. Handful after handful of bullets were being pulled out, tinkling against the ground like sand between her fingers, bringing with them the various assortment of lint, change, and a few bills of which she had no interest in. With a disappointed sigh, Fumi found herself pulling ANOTHER flask out of one of Falken's pockets, jiggling it to hear the contents slosh, only to chuck it over her shoulder with disinterest; there was nothing here worth keeping... Or so she thought.
When Fumi felt her hand hit the strange, rubber-like object in the next pocket, she cringed and pulled, hoping to procure something NOT awful and as if it were a gift from the Gods above...she found, in her hand, a comical, squeaky toy chicken. Holding the limp object, she looked from it, to the unconscious Falken, to her hand once more, only to look back towards the group with a snort as she squeezed its squishy body, making it cry out. Now THIS was a catch, she didn't have one of these!! Giving it a few more good squeaks, Fumi pat Falken's chest in a congratulatory sense, then stood up, stretching her arms high above her heads and stretching her now empty hands that had thin strands of smoke leaving them.
Fumi turned to face Eve, a childish smile on her face as she gave a great shrug of her shoulders, letting the woman know that she found nothing of interest on Falken. However, she stooped down, picking up the messy wad of bills and bringing them to Eve with a wave of her fingers, smirking. That was the only worthwhile thing she'd gotten out of him! Now she moved on, kicking bottles this way and that loudly, continuing to hum a tune only in her head.
Fumi had been picking through a pile of discarded bottles, grimacing at the stench of alcohol that left them, it was just as she saw a strange, golden glint that she jumped up with the sound of the door slamming open. What came next just left her with a raised brow, a neutral expression on her face while she pointed a thumb towards the three newcomers, looking towards the others in disbelief as if to say "Are they serious?" With a great sigh, she kicked a bottle at her feet petulantly, already sick of the trouble they were running into; why did this dumb maxed out toaster constantly seem to bring trouble with him?! Not only that, but there was no way they were getting out of this without him, right?
With their threats of punishment, Fumi's expression was only deadpan as she looked at the group, surprisingly un-intimidated. The small girl sighed quietly, her gloves slowly dissipating into mere smoke so that she could gently touch the nearest table, looking from the unconscious Falken to her remaining group. She may not have known them very well, but Fumi knew that no one here was going anywhere without a fight, and whether they'd win or lose, she didn't know...but one thing Fumi knew to be true was that no one had ever caught her and kept her detained.
Boldly she moved, though slowly with her hands raised to show she meant no harm...at least not on the surface. With a small kneel, the girl was by Falken's side, her chin tucked between her hands while she looked towards the three 'intimidating' individuals with a pouty expression. She wasn't going anywhere with these freaks!

John spread his wings to slow to a stop after passing right through the necromancer. The feeling of slipping right though an opponent was a strange one, even for him. Reminded him of that slime guy he dated once. "Spiked sea? Hey Callis, can we visit the beach when we're done here?" He yelled out to the Centis exile while he turned around. "If this goes how I think it will... this place isn't going to be fun to stick around." A ball of flame erupted in his hand and he jumped backwards, throwing it just before he fell behind some rubble. "Everybody down!" He warned the others in case the necromancer ignited just like the others.
"Really? Nothing?" Eve looked through the bills for anything of interest, but found nothing. She tossed the money onto Falken's chest. She loved the stuff, but she wasn't going to steal it. When natural light suddenly poured into the room, she turned to see the strangers. They appeared to be law enforcement, but not the usual kind. More like the superheroes in Jane's comics. That could prove troublesome.
Still, when the woman in the front began speaking, Eve began to laugh, a sound that shook the glass on the shelves and would damage the hearing of anybody too near her. "AHAHA! I'm sorry, you just-BWAHAHAHAHA! You're exactly like this kid I know!" Eve wheezed, trying to recover from her doubled over position. Oh god, that was priceless. "Ehem. Sorry about that. Uh, no. We need him, I'm afraid. Would you believe we're from another dimension and this is in fact not your Falken?" She gave her best attempt at an innocent smile, couldn't quite pull it off when she was doubted her own Falken's origins already.

WHAM! Victor hit the boulder hard, and lost his breath for a moment. It took him a minute to be able to focus his vision again. Just in time to see John's attempt - yes, definitely a flamethrower upgrade for him was in order, because that flying fireball looked ready to accomplish everything his little sparker couldn't.

So Callis didn't actually defeat this man before coming to their world? Alex wondered what kind of relic Callis had to use to destroy the relic that made the castle erupt and send him through another dimension. "Mizuki, if what he says is correct; we need to brace for an explosion." He explains, the assassin nodding her head and quickly springing to the edges of the battlefield and taking cover behind a pillar. The necromancer's water attack had destroyed many of the earlier spots of cover, but she still managed to find this one to use. Alex decides to take a more proactive approach; using some of the mana he recovered to summon a net of chains that stab their spear points into nearby rocks and pull them in front of himself to reinforce his barricade.
As Mizuki waited for the explosion, she noticed Gen was behind cover nearby and appeared to be in distress over...something he was yelling at the earth bender about. She was in the middle of battle, and as such didn't hear exactly what they were arguing about. However, she knew that it wasn't her place to try and inquire...and personally, she didn't exactly care. Their objective here was to investigate this place, not rescue this boy whom she had no reason to care about.

Alex remains silent as he watches these 'superheroes' attempt to arrest them. Out of everyone in the room, he is the closest to Falken. He looks back at his companion, who continues to suffer from his current episode. -I wonder if I can trick them into thinking we were trying to capture him ourselves. After all if they took one look at the guy, they would figure out he is currently not a threat. And then looking at how nonchalant the rest of us are, we don't really appear to concern about his condition. I might be able to spin this into them thinking that we are some sort of bounty hunters (Not to be confuse with the BHA)- he thought to himself. Yet before he could attempt to deceive them with a somewhat reasonable story, Eve decided to tell them the truth, which he figures will be a lot more difficult to believe them. Never the less, he made no sudden movements and waits to see how they will react to the revelation of the truth.
While Gen yells at Jose, the bounty hunter doesn't seem to have any clear emotion on his face even when he gets punched right in the face. However, once the man tone's switches from rage to sorrow and hopelessness he clenches his fists. Before he could walk away the earth shaker grabs the man by his shoulders and forces him to turn around and face him. Without hesitation and taking a page from his mentor's book, he quickly headbutts Gen in the forehead. The strike would not cause a normal man much harm, but his goal isn't to hurt the guy, rather just to give him a wake up call. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU EVEN SAYING RIGHT NOW! YOU CAN'T FIGHT WITH THAT DISGRACEFUL SELF-LOATHING ATTITUDE! AND YOU DON'T NEED KI, FIGHTING SPIRIT, OR A STUPID ASS MEDAL TO WIN AGAINST THAT GUY!," as he shouted he points at the necromancer. "SO WHAT IF PLAN A CAN'T WORK! THERE ARE MORE WAYS TO WIN THEN SIMPLY PUNCHING SOMEONE!"
Without waiting for a reply he turns around to see John release his flame blast as well as warm them to take cover. Clapping his hands together, an extremely heavy earth wall emerges from the ground to supply them cover from the explosion that he is anticipating. Yet, regardless of the immediate result he continues to address Gen, yet this time his tone is a lot calmer than before "Don't worry about delivering the final blow, but don't stop fighting. Remember, you aren't alone. You don't need to limited yourself with zombie killing duty. You could very will be the one who figures out how to stop him. But thats only if you don't give up!"

-Don’t you try lying to us, EVILDOER!- Southern Cross struck a pose, pointing with her gloved finger at Eve. -Your treacherous tongues taint this town! BUT NOT WHILE SOUTHERN CROSS IS AROUND!- Energy sparkled from behind the lenses covering her eyes and flared around her hands, it wasn’t ki, it was some kind of “Stellar” energy. The energy looked like a starry sky, black with dancing dots of white and bluish grey. She seemed ready to blow up the whole room if needed, but her comrades placed their hands on her shoulders. -Airhead-san.- The middle aged japanese man whispered to her ear. -You should stop making assumptions without evidence, we can’t take another infraction like the one we got for your handiwork in the bridge job.-
The fur covered warrior also got closer to her and whispered. -Messa Cross, we should at least try and corroborate their tale before pointing fingers or making heroic proclamations of enmity with a group larger in number than us, no matter how similar one of their members is to a missing criminal.- The Red-Maned Warrior loosened up his grip on her shoulder, just at the same time as the Middle Aged Swordmaster. Southern Cross stopped flaring up energy and lowered her head, while getting her legs together and her arms sticking against the sides of her torso. She was clearly embarrassed from the situation. She quickly bowed, blushing profusely, even noticeable with her face half covered by her mask.
-Sorry, I jumped into rushed conclusions, I should have thought before I acted, as Interdimensional travellers aren’t something strange here, in fact one of my companions happen to be from another dimension as well.- Southern Cross quickly apologized for her rash actions, she had a moment of vacillation before she continued talking, and that moment was used by the Middle Aged Urban Samurai to introduce himself. -Greetings and welcome to Inazuma City, I’m Batsu Nagare, one of the Private Senshi that keep the peace.- The third member of the group also introduced himself, with a much more formal tone than his comrades. -I’m the Aurora Regulus Ensis, former King of Centris, Knight of the Orbis Order and the Viani Magusensis.- He bowed with elegance and knightly charm. -My name is Callis Nomene and I’m pleased to meet you all.-
It was clear that they were waiting for the team to introduce themselves. Falken convulsions stopped, but he was still out cold.
Explosion was a word too small to describe what happened once John’s flame reached Mortjus body. Cataclysmic Ignition had a better ring to it, much more descriptive of the events that happened. The Necromancer’s new body was completely made of Corrupted Cibus, so densely packed that it was almost solid, that amount of fuel was bound to cause a major detonation, luckily for the heroes most of the energy burst upwards, a pillar of purple flames with horrible faces forming sprouted from Mortjus’ viscous form. The heat was intense, melting everything nearby ground zero, causing the rocks to melt and the sand to become glass, but with the least bit of cover in front of them anybody would be able to survive the intense heat, as we stated before most of the energy went up.
The pyre blasted into the sky, blazing the fog around them, melting the snow and opening a hole through the thick winter clouds, opening a circular window to a blue sky and the shining orb of the sun pouring light through it, illuminating the, up until now, shadowy ruins. The Necromancer was vanquished, it might have seemed easy to our heroes, but in Centris there wasn’t an individual with a similar skill set as Johnathan, so Mortjus might’ve turned into an unstoppable force of evil if they weren’t in the dimension. Callis came out of a large block of stone he used as cover and looked up, a smile on his face knowing that once again he managed, somehow, to fulfill the oaths he once took, protecting Centris from great danger. Gen was sitting on the ground, his back turned on Jose, with a defeated and empty expression on his eyes. His fingers clutched the medal, which whispered into his mind. “Use my power kid, or you’re only goin’ to be a dead weight”
Nearby, the door through which the group entered, now perfectly visible after the fog vanished, had a green light over it, as white light leaked through the cracks.

John rose from behind his defensive rubble, shirt hanging in smoking tatters. Slowly he was returning to his regular form, claws retracting, slime drying. "He gone?" He wondered aloud, stepping over the rubble and brushing ash and rubble off his body. He took a flight assisted jump over to Callis. "Callis, the door's ready. It won't entirely be your call, but do you want to stay a while? I mean, this is your home, and I don't know if you'll ever be able to visit again. I'm sure I can talk the others into allowing us a day to recover." John quietly spoke so that Callis alone would hear him. This was a personal matter.
Eve snorted in response to Southern Cross' embarrassment. That was very much not like Ash. Literally nothing could embarrass that girl. "I'm Eve Harper, leader of the Wild Hunt. Garo Takayama is under my command. The rest I just bumped into coming here. Oh, and that's Fumi. She's mute." Eve quickly disavowed responsibility for the thieves and Falken. "We don't mean any harm. We just need to stay here for a period of time for that door to unlock. Part of a security protocol in some lab we were infiltrating." She hoped it wouldn't be too long. The longer they were here the greater the chance diplomacy slipped up.

A big part of her just wished that these people would leave, a REALLY big part of her. Picking through Falken's pockets had been fun enough, but she was certainly beginning to miss the comfort of a familiar space...even if that space was in an alternate dimension made of nothing but doors and no floors; there weren't people shouting at the top of their lungs there, at least. Still squatted down, balancing upon the bottoms of her feet with her chin cradled in her un-gloved hands, the small, childish girl looked between the three who seemed to have the strangest power structure she'd ever seen...and possibly the best hidden pockets. A crimson gaze flicked rapidly from body to body, only for her to puff a cheek with air in a slight pout as she heard Eve mention them and her problem in particular. For the first time since they'd arrived, she looked actively irritated, shooting a small and un-intimidating glare the large woman's way; the less people knew about her, the better!
What's done was done and all the girl could do was let out a silent sigh, releasing hold of her chin in one hand to toss a small peace sign in greeting. Turning her attention away from the three, she instead made way to prod at Falken's side with the same hand, a redundant and purposefully annoying series of pokes with her index finger. They had to get moving and that meant that this guy HAD to get up. If anyone was in a safe position to do it, she figured she would be it; turns out bullets don't work too well on something that isn't quite tangible. Not that he had many left in his pockets after she'd scattered them about the bar.

The room quickly became engulfed in a violent explosion that was much larger than either Alex or Mizuki had anticipated. However, both of them were adequately protected in their positions; Alex in his miniature fortress of rocks, and Mizuki behind the pillar that was far enough away from the explosion's epicenter. Once everything subsided, Alex steps out of his fortress and observes the damages. He was surprised to see such a violent reaction to a tiny amount of fire. He notices the change in the door the group came through, confident that it led to the next room.
"Yes Mr. Nomene, would you wish to stay for a small amount of time? I do have other pressing matters to attend to, so I'm afraid your time here will be short. If you wish, I could refer you to the HWIC's Research and Development division and perhaps they could begin investigating a way to get back here." Alex says to the Beast Knight, trying to be more diplomatic first with him. Mizuki steps out of her cover as well, walking past the defeated Gen and toward the group. There was no way she wanted to deal with his problems when it seemed like everyone else knew who this boy was. Hopefully the next room would be more suited to close combat techniques than this one.

Victor took a small piece of rock that had chipped off when he impacted the boulder, and threw it so it bounced off Alex's shoulder. "Hey man, would you care giving a partner a hand up? I'm sort of imprinted into the rock here, like I carved out a cartoon silhouette, it's not even funny. Wouldn't mind getting some help getting out."

Alex continues to remain still as he waits to see what happens with their current situation. Noting the the leader of the group appears to be quite at ease with their story. After a while, he sees that with no more hostilities between them it is only appropriate to share his name. "Hello..." he quickly greeted as his eyes begin to scan them one by one. As he begins to talk, an almost eerie aura seems to expel from his body as he attempts to make small talk, which will be apparent to everyone in this room that is not something he tends to do. However, out of curiosity for this world, he figures the easiest why to learn about it would be through discussion. "My name is Alexander. Please don't be afraid to call me Alex if you so wish. But also refrain from calling by other nicknames. Thank you." Giving them a moment to absorb that bit of information he continues to say, "Now, I'm not around here, but from what I gather, your world seems particular interesting. Especially when it comes to the public awareness about the existence of such...extraordinary beings as yourselves. Tell me, has this always been the case?"
---
Jose reamins silent behind Gen, and only could shake his head a bit before heading back towards the door. Once he is near the door, he kicks the ground with a slight tap and suddenly a decent size chuck of earth spurts upwards in the shape of a tree stump. Without saying anything, he quietly sits down and waits for the others as he decides that he will be the last person to walk through as he continue to monitor the area with his terra senses. He imagines that nothing else is going to attack them after that all necromancy busy, but one can never be too careless. Also, noticing that the Victor is stuck, he figures he might as well help him out. "Don't worry Alex, I can handle this." With a quick gesture of his hand the earth around the lad expands outward until Victor is no longer trapped inside the rock.

Callis heard John talk, but he didn’t register it. His piercing blue eyes were locked on the sights in the valley underneath their position. The snow filled streets and blue tiles bringing back memories of his time as a failing student of the magical school, an isolated guardsman incapable of bending the rules and finally an exiled Knight, thinking for a cause nobody knew or understood. The Beast Knight, unlike most of the people of Centris, knew the true behind his world and staying here, bearing that weight and the weight of his memories was a task not even his immense will power was up to. Once again one of his comrades, in this occasion Alex, offered him to stay on Centris, at least for a while. Those words pierced through his heart like burning daggers, but he hid the pain, he was really good at doing that.
The Beast Knight lowered his head and some of his hair, which escaped the ponytail during the fight, created bangs that covered his grief-stricken face. Callis could only hear his heart, beating calmly even under such pressure. Focusing on that sound he raised his head, passing a hand over his forehead, pushing his hair back and tying it up with the red piece of fabric, a piece of his old cloak, back into the ponytail. Finally the Beast Knight looked at both John and Alex, shaking his head with a sad smile. -I think this is not my place anymore Mes Miyata, I am a dead man here.- The Beast Knight walked towards Cinerus, who was just getting back his bearings. Callis crouched and whispered.
-Well done! You defeated a revived Mortjus, you will be hailed as a hero.- The Old Magus first looked at Callis with confusion and then with sadness. -You defeated him Mes Nomene, just like you did the criminal gangs and the Unda, I cannot take another victory from you, like so many did before.- The Beast Knight shook his head and placed his hand over the shoulder of the Old Magus, using his other hand to help him sit upright. -No, it was never about the victories, fame or glory Mes Cinerus.- Callis smiled, dispelling his sadness. -Is about helping others, from the very beginning I only wanted to help people, that is how I survived the scorn of my peers for so long.- A fleeting shadow of pain crossed his face. -Words hurt Mes Cinerus, but I prefer being stabbed by hundreds before seeing somebody else being wounded by a blade.-
Cinerus steely eyes lost their natural air of severity when they started to well up with tears. -You are a better man that I will ever be Mes Nomene… You might not want it, but people need to know who saved them, you and your comrade in arms saved us all.- The Beast Knight gently smiled again, helping Cinerus to stand up. -No, you and your valiant squad did, you are the heroes of the day and with that fame you can bring peace to this country.- Callis released the Old Magus hand and turned around, walking towards the door. -Just do not forget that the most important thing a man can do.- He turned around for a second while he opened the door with one hand while he showed his other palm. -Extend a hand to help a fellow man.- With that said he crossed the doorway, feeling the knot on his throat and the warm tears on his face.
Gen stood up, his head and shoulder hunched down, dragging his feet over the ground. The feeling of powerlessness was the only thing inside of him. The faint flickers of his sanity, slowly returning upon finding a hope to exit this bizarre prison, were being extinguished by the pressure he felt, the intensity of the fire burning on his hand, his fingers clutching the burning medal that urged him to transform and unleash its might, power Gen didn’t want or understand. For a split second he almost threw the medal away and rushed to the door, he even almost threw it, but at the last second he changed his mind and just placed it on his pocket, dragging his feet towards the door and getting back to the Dimensional Waypoint with empty, defeated eyes. -Fuckin' shit...- He whispered, to faintly to be heard. -You mean Private Senshi?- Batsu used the term they coined years ago for those with superlative abilities or technology. -Yes, we’ve always been public, you mean to say you come from a world where you aren’t able to use your abilities in public?- The Giant Killer asked with a hint of concern on his voice. -I couldn’t imagine how that would be.- Callis was on the corner trying to comfort a very embarassed Southern Cross, who was crouching and looking at the floor, while doodling with her finger. The Giant Killer kept talking, this time directly at Eve -Well your story is very interesting and I’m inclined to believe it, if only to avoid the paperwork, but I’m afraid you need to come with us back to Central, we need to write up a report for this kind of situation, orders from up high.-
The Urban Samurai walked towards the door, waiting at the side of it with his hand gesturing towards the exit. -Please if you would be kind enough to follow us, I bet we can solve this whole thing with a couple of signatures and non invasive medical scans.- He whistled at Callis. -You kitty-kat!- The imposing silhouette of the Centriani King towered over his comrade with deep shadows on his face. -Remember that I dislike that nickname Mes Nagare.- The Veteran Samurai smiled, a cunning and sly grin, like a fox. -Sorry, I forgot about that, I wanted you to carry the guy in the floor.- Callis moved and gently picked Falken up, loading him over his shoulder. -Thank you very much King Kitty-kat!- Batsu did a mocking bow and Callis shook his head with frustration.
-Shall we Ladies and Gentlemen?- He asked, with a green glimmer on his eye, making it clear that he wasn’t just asking. -Harper-san?- Garo looked at Eve for guidance, but he was clearly ready for anything, his muscles slowly tensing up under his clothing.

John shrugged and turned from Callis. Moving on to the next door was fine by him, but it was too bad how Callis had to give up the credit. A hero should reap the rewards of their work! At the very least, John was spreading this tale back in the BHA. He noticed Gen sulking away out of the corner of his eye and broke off to greet him at the entrance. "Hey Gen. How are you feeling? Any injuries?" He spoke low in an attempt to not attract the attention of the others. He would bet good money Gen wouldn't appreciate the attention.
"That sounds good to us. Alex, can you make sure nobody messes with the door while we're gone? Nothing lethal, please." Eve gestured to Garo and Fumi, drawing them close. "Just a moment with my team, officer." Eve ducked to speak to them alone. "Alright, I want all eyes open in this place. Garo, if Falken turns out to be the one they're looking for, you're telling them the honest truth about how you feel about him. Hopefully that helps. If they try to arrest us over it, try to take out the lady first. She seems like the leader. Fumi, I trust you not to get caught stealing the keys to anything they lock Falken up in. Yes, we're rescuing him if they take him. We need the guy to get out of this mess." She would give Alex his orders when she could get him. The new thief got none. She didn't know if she could trust him to follow orders. Fumi and Alex she knew the buttons of. This guy was a mystery. "Alright, we're coming. Just needed to tell these knuckleheads to stay out of trouble." She gave Batsu a broad grin.

A world where their powers weren't hidden? The idea of it didn't really strike her fancy. What kind of a thief would she be if everyone knew her abilities?? Signatures and scans? For once, a genuine look of absolute distaste adorned the puffy-haired girl’s face. No way. A signature was one thing but a scan? The -less- people knew about her, the better and she didn't want these people to know her literally inside and out! Her tongue peeked out from her mouth, sticking out in a “blegh” gesture as Batsu said the very words. They weren't getting her to do any of that stuff!
The small girl had waddled backwards as the large man approached; already, she was small enough, this huge beast of a man didn't help her feel any less so. He could have Falken if he wanted to, she didn't even want to try squaring up with this guy. Nearly losing her balance as she backed, Fun I saw Eve wave her over and was all too happy to oblige in this circumstance.
The plan seemed...solid? Honestly she couldn't question it, considering she didn't have any better ideas. Normally, if things were to go bad, Fumi might have just ran off by now...but they needed that unconscious microwave to get out of here. Besides, it didn't matter how strong they were, Fumi figured they could try and hit her all they wanted, but if anyone were to make it out...it would be her. And she would have that key...if there was one. Giving another mock salute, Fumi was the first to approach the bodies blocking the door.
Lackadaisical as she was, Fumi stopped short of the emerald eyed man, holding her hands behind her head in a relaxed manner, her fingers tangled in her mass of hair. Fumi didn't particularly care for that look in his eyes...it reminded her of home. He was demanding in the illusion of choice, just like her employers did. -Nothing- felt more patronizing to her! Slowly she would pull a hand from her hair, bare fingers tightly pressed upon one another with her thumb pressed upon her palm, touching the sign to her forehead and then waving them forward with a bright grin on her face. A simple, nearly infant styled sign meaning “hello.” For now she would wait for the others.
Fumi had found it was always easier to make friends first. Friends let you get closer. And for some reason, she suddenly had the petulant desire to become really good friends with Batsu’s pockets...wherever they were.
