The streets of the former Capital City of Japan buzzed with activity. Many know Kyoto for the abundance of shrines, the immense historic district and many must go tourist attractions that always bring crowds to this traditional city of Japan. The buzzing of people walking through the crowded streets fills the warm spring air. But under Kyoto many secrets are Hidden, many dangers sealed and many lies were told to keep Japan safe. The city is famous for the large amount of shrines and temples that populate its landscape with their traditional tiled roofs clearly noticeable from a bird’s eye view, easily distinguishable from modern rooftops. Many come in pilgrimage searching for forgiveness, good fortune or love, but not many know the truth about the Shrines. Kyoto has a long and bloody story, filled with wars, disease, death and sins. The souls of the departed ones who died in Kyoto in a perilous situation remain in the city, haunting its streets and people, only the shrines stop them from being really dangerous. But enough out of old history, as what bring us to Kyoto today isn’t a history lesson, but something a bit more exciting. Away from the rush in the streets and equally active situation, only less crowded happened above the rooftops. Two figures blitzed over the tiled roofs and terraces, one of them, a black blur, jumped with incredible agility from roof to roof, the other, a shining green blur, zoomed over them flying thanks to her powers. The black blur was a young man with a playful smile dressed in a black shirt and black pants. He carried a short sword on his lower back and some leather straps that held kunai. –I think that idiot needs a lesson honey-bunny, I’ll sick my boys at him, but those idiots are a bit busy setting us up for tonight gig.- The green blur, a green haired woman in a long black coat, covering from neck to her thighs, as the dress opened in four long straps revealing her legs, replied. -He truly is a relentless man, I never could have thought he would pursue us for so long, maybe we should take the time to properly take care of the situation. - She glanced behind them to see only a glimpse of the crimson cloaked figure rushing to catch up. The man in black smirked. –I was thinking the exact same thing honey-bunny.- His expression went from playful to serious as he asked. –You hit high and I hit low?--Is like you posses telepathy darling. - She nodded agreeing to his plan and both halted their escape over the large terrace of a concrete building, seemingly a factory. They stood there with a warm autumn breeze swaying the female’s dress. Finally their persecutor arrived, jumping gracefully with the red cloak hanging behind him waving almost theatrically. His hair was pale blond and his eyes of a piercing blue. His face and hands showed small feral traits that make him look wild, an image that his expression and messy mane-like hair managed to reinforce. He didn’t look too tired after 15 minutes of acrobatic running over Kyoto’s suburbs skyline and he spoke with a voice filled with authority. –Halt! I am Callis Nomene and as both of you have committed crimes that…- His voice faded as he realized who was he talking to. His piercing glare turned into a momentary confusion until he looked at the ground shyly. He tried to speak again, but words eluded him, stuttering clumsily. –T-that…that…eh…duty…- The criminals didn’t even doubt in using this immense hole on the crimson cloaked man defenses to rush him according to their plan. The Black Clothed Man ran forward as he unsheathed his short sword. Mid dash he launched several kunai that were easily avoided by the Beast Knight, this was mostly thanks to his sharp battle instincts forged in countless battlefields, but doing everything by ear not always work as the charging urban shinobi planned ahead and only used the kunai as a way to position Callis into the path of his blade. Once again the Beast Knight instincts saved him as his opponent attacked with a diagonal slash, with a reverse grip, while shouting. –Gotcha blondie!- Callis lifted his arms and his armored gauntlets took the full blunt force of the impact, defusing any slashing power it had thank to their clever slanted design. Still the attack carried a lot of momentum and it managed to push the Beast Knight backwards, dragging his feet over the concrete floor until he reached the edge of the building. -You do not have anything criminal prepare to…- Callis talked once again in his regular tone of voice until he realized why was that. –Wait, where is your accomplice? – He asked confused looking around until her voice told him. –Engaging you in an offensive from a strategically fruitful position.- The Beast Knight found her easily as he tilted his head upward. He was too late to notice her attack was already incoming, but he didn’t failed just because of timing, since the attack was an invisible discharge of telekinetic energy. The powerful burst of mental energy, basically a “push”, hit Callis like an invisible freight train. –Bye bye blondie, nice landing. - Those words accompanied by a mock salute were the last things the Beast Knight saw before falling 3 stories at a considerable speed. Luckily for him, unluckily for whoever put it there, many air conditioner units were on the building besides him and he crashed through most of them as the effect of the burst seemed to be persistent in making him kiss the alleyway asphalt. The air conditioners and his magical cloak allowed him to slow down his descent and soak some of the damage dealt by the brutal TK Push. In any normal scenario Callis would go back to action instantly even using his claws to climb back up but the strange device given to him by the BHA, a group of bounty hunters he worked for as his condition of interdimensional traveler barred him from getting a “regular” Job in this world, since he lacked papers… not to mention his appearance. -Bzzzt….Nomene-san are you there? I think we have made a small mistake sending you alone to this one…Bzzzzt.- The Beast Knight heard that as he stood up among the wreckage that saved his life, or at least his physical integrity. –What do you mean with a small mistake?- There was an awkward silence as Callis removed bits and pieces of plastic from his clothing. –Bzzzzt…Somebody screw the data entry for this month new bounties, like the ones you’re pursuing. They exchanged their threat levels---bzzzzt.--What do you mean? - The Beast Knight asked and the voice in the other side of the line quickly replied. –Bzzzt…I always forgot you aren’t from around here. Bzzzt - The man sighed and began explaining. –The JHWAB gives the bounties we chase a classification according to their skills and powers.- Callis nodded while hearing. – Bzzzzt The two individuals you are hunting, Akuto Akunin and Beatrix Malveillant were listed as Tanuki 3 but really they are classified as Kamaitachi 3, making it very difficult for a single star bounty hunter, like yourself, to capture them on their own. Bzzzztt --So what do I do now? - Asked the Beast Knight, understanding the situation. – Bzzzt…We will send you back up, return to your home and wait there for whoever we manage to scramble there Bzzztth.- Callis replied with. – Thank you for your help, I will do as you advice and wait for the help.- And with that the communication was cut. The Beast Knight returned to his small flat, given to him by the BHA and the JHWAB, near downtown Kyoto.
-Hello, I’m talking to Haruko Miyata? My name is Yoshida, I’m from the BHA Yatagarasu Kyoto Branch, we have your number as a reservist if we ever need the work and as your JHWAB informs you are nearby Kyoto, would you mind giving a hand in catching two dangerous bounties, of course you will divide the reward with our man in the field, as he is unable to do this work on his own, thanks to the bounties official threat levels.-

Strolling down the streets of Kyoto, Haruko Miyata casually eats a chocolate ice cream cone as she admires the shops in the district. Haruko had grown to love Japan's culture, particularly their food and fashion sense. She had visited Japan numerous times by this point, the most memorable being an earlier visit to Osaka, so touring Kyoto was a nice change of pace.
Just as she was about to go into another clothing store, her phone began to vibrate in her pocket. Pulling out the smartphone, the seamstress answers the phone after ducking into a nearby alleyway. "Hello? Haruko Miyata speaking."
She listens to the agent on the phone, identifing themselves as a BHA employee. Odd how they knew where she was, but it didn't matter. She could use some exercise before dinner. "Of course I'd be willing to help! Who am I going after, and who's my partner for this one?"

-Thank you very much! Let me check the information.- The man in the phone started humming as the sound keyboard keys being pressed in rapid succession could be heard in the background. – You’ll be going up against Akuto Akunin, a renegade Shinobi, and leader of a small clan of Assassination-oriented Ki-users…. Colloquially known as ninja. - Some mouse clicks later he added. –He is working in some kind of professional or personal relation with Beatrix Malveillant, a powerful telekinetic that goes by the professional name “Grunreitter”.-
-I’ll keep digging about them through international databases; I only need to get the permits for them.- He kept checking the screens and added. –You need to rendezvous with the BH member in the case, as a minor filing mistake happened and we sent single One Star Hunter to capture two 2 Star Bounties.- The BHA clerk checked more screens and added. –Go to the direction I sent you through a text, department 4B, his name is Callis Nomene. Good Luck.-
Callis arrived at his home, a department that he kept spotless to the point of borderline OCD. He was taught that an ordered mind is reflected on its surroundings, so he kept his living quarters as clean as he could. This also helped his senses, as a place without dirt is a place without smells; he scrubbed with enough dedication to turn his department into a surgical grade sterile space. Disgusted by the smell he was carrying, thanks to breaking his fall on a dumpster, he removed his clothing, tidily placing it in a basket with hermetic lid and went to take a shower.
He didn’t think the reinforcements would arrive very soon, maybe he was still accustomed to his home dimension, were communication wasn’t as fast or effective as in this world.
The BHA Clerk, named Takeda if you want to know, double checked the files on the two bounties and thanks to new permits being accepted he was able to see a lot more of information. Information that worried him. He picked up the phone again and searched for another BHA member or reservist close by. He lucked out and found one that could help.
-Hernandez-dono, I’m Takeda with the BHA, there is a Hunter near your location that requires assistance to capture two dangerous bounties. If you accept I’ll send you the information, if you’re too busy I’ll search for another Bounty Hunter Available.-
-So what’re we going to do honey-bunny? What’s the score tonight?- Akuto asked as he laid lazily on a couch in the safe house they rented. The Criminal Couple didn’t consider that a BHA member could be behind their trails, but luckily they were skilled enough to lose him and thought to have a plan B if things like these happened.
-We will assault the Nijo Castle, in the heart of Kyoto, our employer desires a peculiar relic inside the building darling. - Beatrix lifted a lot of small metallic spheres she carried in a hidden pocket inside her dress and formed a larger sphere with all of them. –We’re looking for a large gemstone called the Ryume, the Dragon’s Eye.-
-That sounds expensive, is a shame we cannot fence it on our own. We could surely make a fortune. - Akuto proposed with a sly smirk. Beatrix replied calmly. –Darling, the employer is paying a fortune, so we cannot take it for ourselves.- She smiled, shattering a bit her image of coldness. –And is an easy job, I’m guessing the Bounty Hunter won’t chase us.-
-Yes he won’t, I made sure of that, I called my boys and sick them on the hunter. We won’t have to worry about him Honey-Bunny.- His charming smirk melted her worries. –Thank you darling, you’re always so thoughtful.-

Jose wakes up to the sound of his phone ringing. He was tired from yesterday's training to learn and wield his Ki more efficiently, but he went a little overboard and needed to sleep in a later more than usual. Thankfully, he was finally getting the hand with all of his Ki with his training methods, but still he continues to push himself as hard as he can in hopes he could be 1/1000th as good as Reiji is one day with his ki control. He picks up the phone and listens to the request. Since his training, Jose hasn't had too much field work because of his desire to dedicate most of his time and efforts in to getting stronger and learning to use his Ki. After months of training in Japan, he felt he was ready to finally get back to work.
"Sure. Tell me about it. I'll provide help in anyway I can." replies Jose.

A telekinetic and a ki ninja, huh? Well she hasn't faced too many of those in the past, so this should be an interesting experience. She was about to ask how they made a filing mistake like that, until he tells her who her partner was. "Callis? He is on this case? Great! Let me know if you find anything else!"
Hanging up the phone, a slight chill went down her spine. Ever since she was a child, she had been terrified of cats and felines in general, preferring to steer clear of them entirely. Callis was one of the nicest people she knew, but also happened to be part feline and, coincidentally, terrified of women. How ironic that these two would be paired up once more. Normally Haruko would have declined the job if it entailed being paired up with someone who was part feline, but Callis was her friend and he has risked his life to help her on a few occasions, such as when they were all on board a train being overrun with undead. She wanted to repay his kindness.
Following the coordinates on her phone, Haruko gets on a nearby bus and begins making her way towards Callis's apartmemt. After a few minutes, she gets off the vehicle and observes the outside of the apartment. Using the information given to her on the phone, the seamstress finds the apartment and knocks on the door. Hopefully the BHA have managed to secure more agents than just her and Callis.

-Two dangerous criminals Hernandez-san, a duo of thieves that stole from a museum in Beijing.- Takeda checked the information again. –Akuto Akunin is a renegade shinobi from a clan that isn’t working for the government or the JHWAB, it even lacks connections to the BHA, and so we don’t know a lot about them.- The BHA operator scrolled down the screen and added. –His partner… or better put his boss/girlfriend is Beatrix Malveillant, she is a powerful telekinetic and telepath, seemingly part of some sort of shady experiment that gave her powers.- Thanks to receiving the permits Takeda was able to dig a bit more of information that what he could tell Haruko before. -You need to go to this address. - He sent a text with the information- Your contact will be Callis Nomene, I think you met him during that Sakurajima Fiasco last year.-
Callis, still in the shower, heard the knocks on the door. He quickly placed a towel around his waist, covering him up until his knees. His exposed arms and chest showed a frightful truth about his skills as a warrior. There was more scar tissue than skin, he had cuts, arrow wounds, and more all over his body, some wounds were clearly too big for a regular human being and the only reason the Beast Knight survived them was thanks to his so hated paternal heritage. Callis dripped water from the shower as he walked towards the door, the soap scent (even common white soap has it) blocking his sense of smell, that could have probably warned him about the situations that were about to develop. –I am going. - He said as he opened the door. For a split second he didn’t realized who he was talking to. –You must be from the BHA, I thank you for coming to…- The Beast Knight opened his eyes to their fullest possible limit. -MESSA MIYATA?!!!!!- He shouted in a mixture of shock and panic before closing the door, maybe a bit too hard. He fell on the floor, blushing furiously he leaned against the door trying to stop his sudden influx of embarrassment and fear. Callis had the discipline to get over this pesky phobia, but is focus was concentrated on keeping the beast in, rather than caring for his very well funded fear of the opposite gender. But as I mentioned earlier, the soap blocked situations out of his perception… yes… plural. As he panicked, he didn’t notice the quartet of shadowy figures inside his apartment, 4 soldiers of the Akunin Clan sent by Akuto to kill him. At once, taking advantage of Callis clear openings, they launched their clan’s weapon of choice, a chain and needle combo. If this was any other furiously blushed knight, this attack would have skewered him, but Callis wasn’t your run of the mill knight. His sharp instincts kicked in, forcing his legs to push him to the side. Callis crashed against one of the sofas, while the needles pierced through the door, surely startling Haruko. The fight was on, and Callis was only wearing a towel.

Though he had just woke up a few moments ago, Jose's mind is already operating at a hundred perfect when he listens to the information, so to make sure he remembers each and very single detailed. Once he receives the text message with the address, he has already finished getting dressed. Upon hearing the name Callis, he actually breaks a smile. "Yeah, I remember him from a previous assignment a few months back." Jose was glad to hear that the Callis was alive and well. "Alright, I'm on my way." Looking at the address, he tries to figure out how far are they are from each other. Seems like I can get there in only a few minutes on foot. Already having anything he needs, he walks to the door. Yet, before he steps through, he clinches his fist and begins to release his aura. The young bounty hunter was both excited and also curiosity to see how much he has developed over these past few months. Turning down his aura, Jose walks out the door and begins his short walk.

At first, Haruko almost thought that Callis had gotten over his fear of women...but his sudden reaction to seeing her and slamming the door shut made her both sigh...and smile a little bit. The over the top reaction couldn't help but amuse her slightly. Though...she remembers that he was only wearing a towel when he answered the door. Was he just taking a shower, or did he just like to walk around almost naked at home? Considering his knightly behavior, she doubted he did the latter. But still, those scars on his body worried her a little bit. Just how many battles has Callis truly been in to make all that scar tissue?
Knocking on the door again, Haruko begins speaking through the door. "Uh...Callis? Are you alright? Sorry I didn't call first, they didn't give me your number...WHOA!" Jumping back a few feet at the sound of the door splintering, she notices that a large needle had been driven through the structure, likely where Callis was recovering from his initial shock. Was someone already in there?! Not wasting any time, she runs up to the door and flings it open, quickly observing the surroundings. "Callis?! Are you ok?!" She asks, seeing him on the couch. Following the chain attached to the needle in the door, she notices a shadowy figure that looked like a ninja...or perhaps just an assassin. She didn't know how many more there were, so she five normal knives from her coat and tosses them at the assassin that attacked Callis, as he was the most visible. Unknown to everyone else, Haruko had attached a wire to two of her knives, and planned to redirect them to the left and right in anticipation of the target trying to dodge, hopefully catching him off guard.
As she attacked the Akunin ninja, the battle seamstress began focusing her ki senses to see if there were anyone else in the room. While she worked, she took precautions not to glance at Callis, as he was part feline, and she has been terrified of cats for the majority of her life. While not as paralyzed as Callis is by women, Haruko would be thrown off her concentration if she saw a cat, and would likely give an opening to be attacked.

Haruko could easily notice 4 Akunin Shinobi inside Callis’ apartment. Her 5 knives reached the surprised ninja, who managed to block two but received three of them. Haruko’s weapons pierced through armor and fabric wounded the intruder in his right shoulder, hip and left leg. The Seamstress surely kicked the door to enter the room so she could see the three uninjured ninja attacking the Beast Knight in perfect synch with three chain needles.
Callis, still on the sofa, did a maneuver impossible to a mere human, as with his enhanced strength and agility he grabbed the sofa, while being on it and flipped it to use it as a shield. The Akunin’s weapons of choice pierced through but lost all their momentum. The Beast Knight grabbed two of them and tugged with all his might, adding a wave to the chains, lifting the couch and then the shinobi.
–You are not allowed into my home! Begone foul thieves!- Callis roared as once again he gave the middle finger to physics. As the sofa was mid-air he dashed forward, running under it, just before the powerful tug reached the opponents. The two Akunin Soldiers were unable to react against the Beast Knight speed and when they were pulled forward alongside the falling sofa Callis attacked them.
He performed a handstand with a spinning double kick, too entranced in the fight to realize that such maneuver would expose him, or at least expose parts of him. He instantly noticed it just after his heels connected right into the intruder’s chins. The third shinobi decided to charge Haruko with his sword up high, ready for a slash, while Callis covered his family jewels with the fallen towel, too embarassed to continue fighting, with his face completely blushed.
The wounded Shinobi crawled towards the window, falling down into an alleyway besides the building, trying to escape towards the street, a street that surely would be the one Jose was walking.

Jose casually takes his time walking to Callis's location as he was trying to enjoy his walk as much as possible. Appreciating his surrounds and just taking everything in so that he won't forget the area when he had to leave town. Though he missed his home back in the West, the young hunter was also going to hate saying goodbye to his temporary living quarters in Japan. Still, what matters the most was the experience he gain and the people he got to know during his time here. Besides, he can always just take bounty missions here when ever he wanted to. Yet, before Jose could have a flashback of his times spent in Japan, he suddenly sees someone falling out of a building. And notices that the man was trying to escape was the same building that he was meaning to go too.
Not wanting to make too big of a scene and caught the assassin smoothly, Jose senses the Shinobi's moments with Ki and he proceeds to tap the ground with a foot stomp, which causes a hole (big enough for a grown size man, but not too large) to quickly appear underneath the Shinobi. And just as quickly as the hole appears, it will also close just as fast, once Jose senses that the man had fallen in. Jose wasn't going to crush the man, but he was going to trap him within the earth and only allow the person's head to be expose while their bodies are stuck in the ground.

Seeing that Callis was more than fine, Haruko finally reads 3 more ki signatures in the room, two of which just got thoroughly Callis'd in the chin, and the third seemed to be charging at her. Out of the corner of her eye, Haruko notices the first assassin she attacked trying to escape through the open window. While she couldn't stop him now, there was an inadvertent plus to this.
Grabbing the wires attached to the knives that stabbed him, she yanks them back, forcefully pulling them out of the assassin and toward herself. All 5 knives should now be on a course to stab the assassin coming at the battle seamstress in the back, but for good measure, she ducks down and rolls forward, trying to roll past the assassin and keep him in place just long enough for the knives to strike his back and thighs.
As this was going on, Haruko didn't notice that Callis had stopped fighting due to his...state of dress. While she herself wouldn't be affected at his current state, Haruko knows that Callis would be and, in doing so, would be an easier target. Hopefully there aren't any reinforcements.

Haruko’s move finished the remaining Shinobi in a flurry of flying steel. The Assassins fell prey to the retrieval of her knives; the two that Callis was fighting were too dazed from the well placed kicks of the Knight, while the one that was charging towards her was more focused on charging that noticing incoming danger. This move also had the advantage of saving the knives from being swallowed by Jose’s ground bending technique. When she finished her roll the Akunin Ninja she was fighting was already on the floor. Their leader might be powerful, but seemingly they were pushovers, at least when it came to open battle.
Callis, still covering his family jewels with a towel was incapable of uttering a word, blushed to the point that it could be considered dangerous. He tried to talk but finally the nerves went over his head (or more likely it was all the blood from blushing) and the Beast Knight fell flat on his back, fainting out of the stress. Thankfully his arms were so locked in their position that fainting didn’t uncover his privates. Callis landed on some of the couch cushions that fell when he used it as cover, while the 3 Akunin inside were unconscious and one of them bleeding out.
Meanwhile, 2 stories down, the head of the Akunin Shinobi popped out from the concrete after Haruko retrieved her knives from him. He looked at Jose with shock, clearly noticeable as the visor he was wearing got damaged by the fall so one of his eyes was exposed. –Who are you!? You weren’t on Aniki’s intel!- He shouted to the Earth Bending Bounty Hunter.

"Who I'm I. No. The real question is who are you?" Jose moves his right hand forward in a grabbing motion and at the same time, the earth around the Shinobi's quickly shift into the shape of a massive earth hand, which is big enough to hold an entire person's body. The earth hand's job is to clench and keep the man's body still and prevent any moments. Jose didn't care for the man and he was more than willing to crush his body in if he proof to be a threat, but for now he was going to just contain the fellow until Callis and Haruko get down here and they can tell him what is going on. Besides, the man could be a good source of information as well.

Satisfied that her combo had worked, Haruko begins scanning the room to see if there were any more hidden ki signatures. Oddly enough, there were two right outside the window, and the battle seamstress could faintly hear shouting coming from their general direction. Perhaps she should investigate that with Callis...Callis...oh right, Callis! Shifting her attention to the Beast Knight, Haruko saw he was blushing tremendously, almost as if he had a fever. Did those ninjas use poison?! But first thing's first...she should quell his phobia.
Taking out a needle and some black thread, Haruko started to sew at blinding speeds, using some of the techniques she learned at the guild to improve her speed. In less than a minute, she was holding what could best be described as a skirt, but if asked, Haruko would just tell Callis that it was a kilt. It was the only thing she could make that wouldn't entail near sexually assaulting Callis to put it on him. Walking over to Callis, she gently lifts him up with one hand, and attaches the 'kilt' to his waist. "There...you alright now?" She asks, concerned if his red face was just out of embarrassment, or if it were an actual fever. Of course, she steps back to ask him said question.

Callis weakly opened his eyes just as Haruko was sliding the “kilt” on him. His heightened senses went into overdrive, the sound of the fabric sliding, her fingers accidentally brushing his scarred skin, the scent of Haruko right after battle. This was almost too much for him and when she talked the Beast Knight tried to reply –ghtkdh…- but only a choked whisper escaped his mouth before falling unconscious again. It would be better for Haruko to put some distance between them if she ever wanted to have Callis back from the land of Morpheus.
-Agk!- The Akunin Shinobi cried in pain as the Earth Hand closed around him, putting some pressure on his ribcage. He breathed heavily for a moment, trying to catch his breath after the sudden pressure. He glares at Jose with murderous intent. –I’m a proud member of the Akunin clan you idiot! Keep doing this and my aniki will come and beat you up!-

Jose didn't appreciate the idiot comment too much. He knew he wasn't the smartest person out there, but he wasn't a fool. Ignoring the comment, Jose looks into the man's eyes. He notices the clear bloodlust look in the man eyes and could tell he was a very skill and experience killer. Jose decides that he will start asking more questions as the man seem to be in a mood to talk. "If your a member of the Akunin clan then I assume you would know something about Akuto Akunin."
Jose looks up and tries to figure out why the others were talking so long to get down here. Regardless, he could sense that they were alive and well. Hopefully no one receive any serious damage, if at all, from the assault done by the Akunin Clan. Looking back at the man he continues to say, "Tell me everything you know about Akuto Akunin and Beatrix Malveillan. Deepening on how you respond to me-*Suddenly the giant earth hand begins to squeeze slightly tighter* -well... i think you would want to leave here with the same body shape you come in with." Not caring for the man's life. he would be more than happy to crush the life out of a assassin if he was not willing to cooperate. However, even when Jose was willing to commit to his threat, he was still going to wait for the others before he crushes somebody.

Sighing at Callis's reaction, Haruko shrugs her shoulders and makes her way towards the window. If Callis couldn't be near her in this state, at least she could check out what the heck was going on outside. Upon hearing the ninja shout that he was a 'proud member of the Akunin clan' and that his brother would beat them up, Haruko couldn't help but chuckle at the ninja's response. To her, this sounded exactly like something an annoying kid would say at school to look badass. It doesn't work.
Leaping through the window, Haruko gracefully lands on her feet and looks at Jose. "Easy there, this guy has information we need. We can't get it if he's dead. Are you with the BHA, by chance?" She asks Jose, noticing that he was also a member of the hidden world due to his...well...not so subtle Earth manipulation. Hopefully Callis would catch up to them soon.
Turning back to the ninja, Haruko crosses her arms. "So...mister ninja. Why are you trying to kill my friend?"

-Ngh…nhg…- The Akunin Shinobi tried to struggle but it was in vain, Jose’s Earth Fist was clutching him so tight he didn’t have any room to move or exert force outward. Moments like this made him want to have learnt more of what Akuto-aniki was teaching them. He stubbornly looked at The Earth Fist and said. –I’m not going to say anything to you, I would never betray Akuto-Aniki or his girl, we aren’t snitches, he got us off the streets… gave us a home and a jobs… we will not sell him out.-
As he finished his speech Haruko landed besides him and added further inquiries to the interrogatory. He laughed creepily, or at least tried to. Just as Haruko thought the Akunin foot soldiers weren’t proper Shinobi, but just street thugs trained and equipped like ones. It was truly fearful if you understood that this kind of individuals were easily dispatched by non-Hidden World fighters until Akuto trained them in less than a year to become proficient enough to fight.
-That I can tell, Akuto-aniki sent us to finish the idiot with the red cloak so he couldn’t track us down, and take it as a warning, if you try to get close you will be also targets, and the assassin’s will be the Squad Leaders, much more powerful that you can even ima-THUNK!- Mid sentence a boot covered heel smashed him in the back of his head, breaking the remainder of his visor and mask.
Callis jumped, now dressed, from his flat and knocked him out, his crimson cloak waving behind him with each move. He looked at Haruko and bowed. –Sorry for the m-m-misunderstanding u-u-u-p there M-m-messa Miyata…- The Beast Knight avoided looking directly at her. –I h-h-hope… we-we-we c-c-can forg-g-g-get s-s-such… un-unfortun-n-nate inci-ci-cident…- He turned to Jose and bowed again. –Mes Hernandez, I haven’t seen you since Sakurajima, I hope your training is progressing smoothly.-
He looked at both of them and added. –Are you two by any case the backup sent by the BHA?- He relaxed a bit. -If so I must inform you I have the information you could exert from this man and you would get it without the need of a method so cruel and unnecessary as torture.- He turned to face Jose once again. –Please release him, as he is right now he can’t do any harm, do not blame him for being loyal-
For a moment he seemed to be about to change topic but finally added. –And remember to lower the Earth Magic to its proper form. I do not desire to have a statue near my residences.- The Beast Knight paused to, for the lack of a better term, flashback, but he quickly returned to reality after a brief hint of discontent. –Statues bring back bad memories from home.-

Jose thinks it over a bit, and finally agrees to release the man and set him back down. The earth fist slowly sinks into the ground and it shifts back to its original place. The only difference from before Jose's earth manipulation was that there are a few more bumps on the floor of the alley way, which use to be the major knuckles of the earth fist. "Fine. Go ahead and do it your way. I'm sure it will be more successful than any method of mine." said Jose in a rather emotionless tone of voice. "Jose then answers their question of him being there, "Yes. I'm a member of the BHA and I was in the area, so they requested that I join you on this assignment."Jose didn't enjoy freeing the criminal from his earth fist, but he did trust that Callis will manage to extract the correct information from the man. Hopefully, nothing negative results from this decision of his.

So these guys were sent after Callis by the people whom he was chasing before? Why would they send such low leveled grunts at a warrior like Callis? Before she could question him further, Callis clocks the ninja over the head and has Jose release him from the earthly prison. Looking back up at Callis as he is apologizing, Haruko looks directly to the side of him as she addressed the Beast Knight. "N-no problem Callis. Mistakes like that happen I guess." Pausing for a second, she continues. "Yep, I got the call a few minutes ago and came over as soon as I could. Looks like I was right on time, eh?"
Looking over at Jose, Haruko walks over and extends her hand for a handshake. "Hello, I'm Haruko. If we're going to be on the same mission, I'd like to know my comrades. What's your name?" She was rather curious about him. An Earth manipulator that didn't seem to talk much. Hopefully he wouldn't be some sort of loose cannon.
