Backstory
Not much is truly known about Falken. The most important facts are the following:
He is a Cyborg.
He is from another Universe.
Parts of his past has been erased.
He is a Gun for Hire.
The Cyborg part puzzles Falken and many Hidden Experts. The level of technology hidden under his synthetic skin is beyond the usual fare for Cyborgs. That’s because, as stated earlier he is what the JHWAB qualifies as “Drifters”, Hidden Denizens that come from parallel planes of existence. What little information was obtained from that world points out that their development happened faster and with more resources, allowing Falken to be created. His brain, parts of his implants, is half-way organic and electronic, having almost duplicates of every memory. Yet for some reason there seem to block hiding large swabs of memories and information. However, he managed somehow to end as one of the World premier assassins/mercenaries, thanks to this upgrades and his arsenal, obtained from Dr. Shikishima.
It seems like Kuro-san was somehow involved in Falken being brought to this world, but only time will reveal all answers.
Personality and Appearance

Falken is a pragmatic and cold individual, who hides this machine-like efficiency behind two metric tons of snarky attitude and smart-ass one-liners. He tends to get on the nerves of everyone he meets as he is arrogant to the point of blinding stupidity. This is mostly a façade to hide his insecurities and the wounds of his past. Still, most of the time he tends to show-off and attempt stunts nobody in their right mind would try to do, while taunting, insulting and generally being an asshole to friends or foes alike.
His unofficial motto is “There is no kill like overkill"
Falken is around 6’2’’ and is extremely thin. Most of his strength comes from the machinery inside his body, which would be mostly invisible if it wasn’t for his right eye, that shines with a bright red light and his skin, which has a faint hexagon pattern, as all of it is fake. His left eye is green and his hair is short and black. He usually wears a red tie + black shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a body armor vest on top (current one is made of dragon scales he got from China). He has knee and elbow pads, a comfortable military black pair of pants, combat boots and fingerless gloves. He has a couple of holsters on his sides, a combat knife on his boot, a large multifunction harness on his back to carry any kind of weapon he summons. He also has a small pouch in the back of his waist to carry basic instruments and tools.

Skills and Enhancements
Falken is master with any firearm known to men, and with some that he made and are pretty much a secret. He is proficient with sniper rifles and any kind of weaponry, but is particularly good with dual-wielded handguns, being one of the greatest marksmen the world have ever known, even without his enhancements. He is a master of Gun Kata and can apply his incredible agility to almost any kind of situation, thus being capable of making clear and well-aimed shots even from the most bizarre postion and middle of advanced acrobatics, his aim and speed are great enough to shoot the wings of insects and pinpoint bullets with atomic precision
Master Hand To Hand Combat
Trained by the best masters Trinity Gate could offer, Falken is a multi-style martial arts master, specialized in fast takedowns and submissions, he usually tends to use aggressive styles while unarmed, while he uses defensive styles and mix them with the Gun Kata, making hitting him something extremely difficult for even the greatest human fighters. This prowess added to his enhanced physical traits make him a superb hand to hand fighter, capable of not falling behind against more powerful or fast foes, since he uses his amazing blend of techniques to fill the holes of his fighting style.
Enhanced Eyesight and Hearing
Falken Right eye and ears were bionically enhanced, he can zoom in and out with great range than any standar Sniper Rifle, his eye also grants him Motion-view, thus granting him the capacity to see the real time almost at slow-motion, granting him a incredible advantage when it comes to dodge or prepare counter attacks. He can also acces to thermal tracking and Night vision, he cna even see throught walls. His hearing his enhanced to detect even the slightest change on a person heartbeat, he can also intercept radio transmissions.
Enhanced Body Functions
The Bionical implants made Falken body inmune to regular diseases and poison, and also help him during his healing process by using nanomachines to help the healing. He only can heal twice as fast than a normal human, but mostly his ability to dodge makes this one of his less used traits. He also can survive extreme conditions, and even survive, at least for a day or two in the vacuum of space, he can withstand higher pressure than normal humans and he can survive without eating or drinking for a week before any ill consecuence.
Enhanced Physical Atributes
Falken body is enhanced, his implants increases his traits to superhuman levels, he can run 100 mts in 6.5 seconds, lift 1-3 tons and his body can endure any personal firearm attack without wounds. His reflexes are the thing that is greatest enhanced he can react as fast as five times the speed of sound, being capable of dodging most of the conventional weaponery with ease, added to his enhanced Motion-view and his prowess in Gunkata and other martial arts makes him a extremely difficult man to catch.
Brain Implants
Falken brain is connected to several databases that give feedback to his brain, he can gain data about enemies, location out of satellital pictures, and he can connect to internet throught it. The implants also enhances is intelligence and nervous response, as well grants resistence against telepathy. The enhacements also lets him analize the battle information of his opponents to detect patterns or weak points, as well helps him to detect anomalies like illusions or other tricks. Most of his skills are severly increased by this implants, as the implants constanly update his brain with new information about any field of expertice he wants.

After years of training, real life experience and constant feedback of his implants Falken grew to become an acomplished military strategist, he haves an uncanny understanding of the art of war, and he can instictive analize any kind of battlefield or army and detect blind spots and weak points, as well how to improve them. He is particulary good with Guerrilla tactics, infiltration and sabotage, but he can also direct larger groups with ease.
Underworld Contacts
Falken long career gave him lot of contacts in the underworld and in the military forces of several countries. He can get almost any kind of information since most of his contacts owe him, and he can also get equipment and weapons almost in any civilized location.
Master Driver
He is able to drive any kind of vehicle, and if he creates a link with his implants his abilities goes from amazing to just incredible.
Master Mechanic and Gunsmith
Genius level mechanic and gunsmith he constanly creates new weapons and enhances several others, his main achievement, at least known, is his hyperspace arsenal, which he can acces and get any kind of weapon or equipment stored there in a split second.

Hyper Space Arsenal
Contains any kind of conventional weaponry and some high advanced tech, also vehicles and rations, basically is a storeroom directly linked to Falken brain waves and password, thus making it accessible to anybody but him. Here is a fragment of this incredible armory with all of Falken favourite weapons. He used to have one of his own, but after a duel he lost it and had to rent a new one from a mad Techno Wizard. Falken, during his stays on Japan serving as firearm mentor in Inazuma Gakuen, discovered a small think tank of fanatical weapon-smiths in the school. After seeing some of their stuff in action, he decided to fund them and help them design a new line of tools and weapons for him to use. The problem is that he can summon one or two max at the time, after the damage his Pocket Dimension suffered in a battle.

A glove like attachment that covers the arm of the user up to the elbow with an intricate nanites matrix that can turn into pre-programmed weapons that can be summoned on thought, as well tools, Grappling Hooks, Machineguns, Energy Weapons and more. It can reach up to Wall level of destruction and cannot copy other stuff on the spot.
Jin Variable Staff
Multi-Weapon Platform JIN is a 6’ metallic staff that can shift into 4 weapons depending the position of the red handle.
· Bottom Handle: Whip Mode, the staff turns elastic in a similar way to the Seabook Whip and can extend to lengths up to 15 mts.
· Middle Handle: Staff Mode, good for bludgeoning enemies, it stores kinetic energy and releases, so the more you swing it the harder it hits
· Top Handle: Spear Mode, combining the extending of the whip and the force of the staff while adding a kinetic construct tip that can pierce through steel as if it was warm butter.
· Split Handle: The Handle can separate into two and be placed in the ¼ and ¾ of the staff and turn into a full Kinetic Shield.
Yamamoto Tsurugi Module
Gauntlet-like attachment that goes from shoulder to fingers like an exo-skeleton structure, but this, apart from granting some defense, is secondary to the massive blade coming from the wrist and curving itself while being long enough to reach the shoulder. Attacks launched with this blade not only are projected but also get sharper the longer they move. Their maximum range is 30 mts. The longer it goes the sharper it gets. Is a Kinetic Blast Weapon, so like the staff, movement charges it and the Exo-Skeleton also amplifies the energy he generates by moving the arm.
Jo Anti Karasu Weapons
After meeting with Crow Cementerio, Falken commissioned and helped design this weapon. The pair of gauntlets can absorb and store electricity, so it can re use it on generating movement and speed improvements to him. The side effects are that the increased speed and reflexes (similar to Crow’s Overcharged Mode) can only used in short bursts and it alters Falken’s brain chemistry if used long enough making him a bit more aggressive and impulsive than usual.
Tsukuba Flight Harness
An efficient and speedy jetpack with additional thrusters connected to shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, knees, ankles and feet allowing impossibly maneuverability for Falken as he can control it through his implants, allowing a faster and better reaction than doing it through movements as it was originally intended.
Oki Thermal Projectors
Two gun-like devices one capable of generating up to 2000 C degrees of heat, while the other reaches -273 C degrees, capable of flash freezing anything organic by touching it as the cold would transfer through liquid.
Murasame Projector System
More of a tool than a weapon, the Murasame Projector System, or MPS for short allows the creation of holograms, either as illusions to distract or as a disguise covering the user true identity.
Minami Advanced Armored Skin
A Full body tactical suit of advanced fibers, the MAAS grants a massive defensive boost without sacrificing speed, yet, as the defense is not just physical but also a high-density low range force field it blocks any connection to the Pocket Space Arsenal, forcing Falken to fight disarmed or with conventional weapons.
The defensive field grants up to city-block level durability, perfect when battling enemies with high-durability and low skill. It needs to be charged on the sun, so it’s usage in nighttime is less effective. The stored energy can be released in a short range nova-like blast that serves as a flash bang and reaches Tank level destructive capabilities.
Kazamatsuri Combat Stimulant
Sometimes Falken organic bits don’t managed to fully complement his mechanical implants, the Kazamatsuri Stim boost him up with a short lived but powerful genetic alteration that enhances his body and allows him to use his implants at their top speed. The problem is that the usage is very limited, like once each three months. This drug allows him to lock into the Sound Speed Level, reach to 5 tons, increase his reflexes to react against mach 5 attacks and his senses become even sharper. Yet another side effect is lowering his intellect and sending Falken into a Berserker rage. It last 5 minutes and afterward he collapses.
Asosegawa Growth Pill
Almost a gag and completely useless drug that allows Falken to grow in size up to 10 mts having increased strength and durability but making every weapon useless, breaking his clothing and slowing him down. Lasts for 10 minutes and over usage and be harmful to the body. Falken prefers to force feed it to enemies.
H0014 Weapons
A Line of weapons perfectly suited for Falken varied skill-set, also built by the Buki Kogei Kumiai (Weapon-Smith Association) In the Inazuma Gakuen.
Godai Pegassus Crossbow
A Compact high-velocity magnetic crossbow that launches solid ammunition, through a rail-gun like system, causing brutal impacts upon reaching the target. The Crossbow ammunition is of a special alloy, which withstands the high speed (Mach 5) shots. Yet it’s mostly silent as the alloy absorbs sounds and adds the vibration to its effect. The Crossbow is an antipersonnel weapon designed specially to tear down organic tissue, as against inorganic targets is widely ineffective.
Tsugami Shining Dual Guns
Twin solar powered guns that shot hyper concentrated plasma bullets hot enough to eat through any conventional material as if it was a wet cardboard. The heat is so intense it burns the ashes, making it a pretty good weapon for quick escapes as well. Its solar powered nature impedes Falken from using them at Night without charging them with sunlight and he can’t store them in the arsenal and keep them charged.
Kido Survival Blaster
Rifle -like weapon that can charge up and launch hard light construct blasts in the shape of a dragon. Falken consider this one of the most useless weapons in the bunch, but the main designer also created a couple more he likes and he uses it as a favor. The KSB-01 constructs can be guided through a complex interface controlled by the four fingers of the hand and the movements of the cannon it can topple small buildings (5 stories) with a couple of well placed strikes, but is a bit too showy for Falken’s tastes
Inui Laser Cannon
Even a mercenary accustomed to stealth over firepower understands that sometimes you need heavy duty weapons to get the job done. If the target hides behind 9 meters of steel then dual guns won’t do the cut, when it’s needed Falken summons this massive DEATH BEAM deliverer to impart some good ol’ fashioned death. It has two different settings, basic stream, a continuous blast of energy that lacks range but has power to spare, easily compared to an oversized plasma blowtorch. The Secondary setting is scatter shot, a laser shotgun of sorts, with even shorter range (5mts) but great damage. Over-utilization of the weapons tends to overheat it to dangerous levels.
Kenzaki King Blade
One of the few melee weapons in the new arsenal, the Kenzaki King Blade is a refined work in the art of sword smiting mixed with advanced technology. It comes with 4 data cards, each upon being plugged into the corresponding spot activate a secondary function of the blade apart from dealing death. It seems like a Rapier or Longsword
· Spade: Sharp force field is generated around the blade, invisible to the naked eyes causes the illusion of having a short ranged Wind Slash
· Chalice: The sword turns into a quicksilver like substance that retains its sharpness, allows for impossible cuts as it can flow in strange angles.
· Diamond: Creates a defensive field around the blade that can deflect up to sniper bullets.
· Club: Turns the blade into a concussive hammer, non-lethal knock out damage only, perfect for stealth.
Hidaka Vibration Field Generators
A couple of pretty elegant short sticks, similar to escrima sticks or Taiko drums sticks that upon activation, by rotating a dial on their lower tip generate a “Rumble Field” If this field makes contact with air upon moving them at great speeds they create a propagating wave of sound for about 10-15 mts in front of the user, shattering eardrums, altering balance and creating localized tremors if used against the ground. Yet if used directly on an organic target the Vibrations will boil the liquids he holds inside and cause mayor internal damage, any kind of Ki or Ki-like energy protecting a target diffuses the “Rumble Field” effects.
Tendo Variable Weapon
Even if surrounded by monster weapons of great power, the Tendo Variable Weapon shines when it comes to versatility, as it can turn from a low density blaster, to a short axe, to a kunai, all without losing power. The Blaster has a 50 mts range and can be turned into homing mode; its power is roughly the same as a combat rifle. The Axe shares the homing nature but uses it to be launched as a boomerang, it can shatter concrete walls. The Kunai uses the homing feature as a feint assists, as Falken leaves the aiming to it and focuses on using his strength for the blow.
Nogami Rail Chaingun
Heavy Machinegun based on the Gatling Model, the Nogami Rail Chaingun holds incredible power and good versatility thanks to the five different types of bullets it carries.
· Momo Bullets: Thermite loaded piercing rounds, upon breaching through armor explodes releasing thermite. Is more suited to destroy inorganic targets
· Ura Pellets: Expanding Gel pellets, upon impact they release a thick gel-like substance that starts solidifying around the target stopping their movements, its strength is similar to concrete.
· Kin Scattering Rounds: Gravity enhanced shotgun-like shells that explode after being shot filling the air with extremely heavy metallic spheres. Upon reaching the target and managing to get in them, it increases the target weight one time for each sphere, thus somebody with 4 spheres would weight 5 times his own weight. It can be used to demolish structures.
· Ryu Electrical Stun Darts: Small darts hyper-charged with electricity that stuns the target upon contact.
· Sieg Sublime Salvo: Sink-or-Swim hyper velocity depleted uranium bullets with great destructive capabilities, yet the usage of them causes the weapon to overheat and require anti-radiation treatment. A full salvo of the gun -5 seconds, it more than enough to fill a medium building (5-15 Stories) into a Swiss cheese sculpture. The bullets move at Mach 3 and generate sonic booms, adding to the destruction. It’s sound just like a fanfare of trumpets.
Kurenai Crimson Blade
Another of the few fully close combat weapons of the arsenal, based on a medieval broadsword, it carries some pretty dangerous functions. The Crimson Blade is also one of the few magically enhanced weapons in Falken’s arsenal, as he knows Magical Arts exist and he needs from time to time having something to fight against magical targets. The Blade is a Vampiric Sword, capable of drinking life-force from the target to heal Falken’s wounds. Upon continuous usage, the sword slowly dyes red and the cross guard must be swiped over it to purify it from corruption.
Kadoya Surveillance Drones
Built under the premise “Information is Power” are a weapon of the mind. A dozen small white spheres with camera lenses and some sort of levitation device that allows flight at 100 Km/h, the Drones are a improved version of Falken regular drones, sturdier, faster and with better features, HD Camera with the best resolution you can get, cloaking device and an electric field around them that shock attackers. Deploying them allows Falken to have a better view of the battlefield as a whole and help him calculate ricochet shots with perfect accuracy and less effot.
Sonozaki Wind Cannon
One of the weirdest weapons in the new arsenal the HS-WC is a combat rifle-sized turbine that shoots what could be described as focused miniature whirlwinds at targets. It comes with three different attachments that alter the basic 400 km/h winds.
· Hidari Module: Upon activation the module increases the wind speed by 50 km, clocking up to 450 Km/h and turns it into Cutting Wind. A direct blast of this module can clear 50 mts of forest in one go.
· Terui Module: Simply put hyper heats the air to 100 C degrees and clocks ups speeds of 500 km/h
· Narumi Module: Releases a cloud of meat eating bacteria into the air, leaving skeletons instead of targets. Falken has been immunized to said effects
Hino Freeze Ray
A classic of mad scientist turned into a portable and highly effective frozen beam of cold death. With this backpack + pistol combo Falken throws an artificial telekinetic command to lower the molecular movement of the air generating freezing temperatures. It manifests as a cone of sparkling air. Is simple and mostly effective for quick paralysis, rather than lasting damage, it can be disrupted by other telekinetic.
Kisaragi Portable Artillery Vehicle
What to do if a Target is hidden behind too many guards? Get a tank….a very good tank. The KPAV-40 is a personal armored vehicle that is able to fly, move under and over water and dig through stone. It posses two missile silos, 4 chain guns, 1 main artillery cannon and a triple drill head up front. It can move up to speeds of 150 km/h on land and sea, while it can reach mach 1 on air, and move at 75 km/h underwater. Falken despises this vehicle with all his heart and won’t use it unless is paramount for his survival.
Soma Showtime Spell-assist
An elegant pair of gloves with two rings each. It’s a pretty useless physical weapon, barely amounting to serve as brass knuckles. The most important element of this weapon is its capacity to absorb and re-direct magical energy. This only works on pure un-altered magic, so elemental magic cannot be absorbed. Upon absorbing enough and storing it on the Battery Rings an automatic AI guides Falken into casting minor spells with said energy, allowing him to send blasts of fire, create small tremors, jets of water or gusts of wind. Focusing all the energy in a single shot manages to launch a Lightning Bolt.
Kazuraba Triumphant Shotgun
A small automatic shotgun without much features apart from pure undiluted damage. It can demolish walls in a couple of shots. After Hunt he lost it to the fangs of a Fubai Long, a corrupted Dragon. Currently Developing a replacement.
Tomari Acceleration Device
A strange pair of boots, more like an exo-skeleton made of metallic tubes with sturdy yet streamlined wheels in the sides. Basically this device is a pair of high powered rollerblades, but the personalization and versatility of the device is much greater. Each time Falken summons it he can set it in one of three different modes
- Heat: He creates flames through friction behind him, with enough speed he can guide the flames towards the enemy.
- Spike: A molecular alteration wave is released with each revolution of the wheels, causing the ground under Falken’s trail to surge upward in the shape of sharp spikes. Depending on the angle of the wheels on the ground the spikes can end up going in a diagonal or upward.
- Shadow: The wheels release a thick cover of black mist that functions as a smoke screen. Moving with enough through it causes the mist to take a form similar to what moved through it, creating fake images or silhouettes to confuse the enemy.
Tenkuji Anti-Spiritual Grenade
The Tenkuji Spiritual Grenades are small orbs, not bigger than a golf ball that upon activation release a shockwave tailored to diffuse spiritual signatures meaning that it can bust Ghosts. Not permanently, it only diffuses them for minutes. There is a secondary mode to this weapon, that can strengthen spiritual signatures, making them visible and almost hittable by conventional weaponry, but the effects are even shorter, only allowing 30 seconds of solidity to the Ghosts.
Hojo Virtual Recognition Firewall
Less of a weapon and more of a defensive measure, after realizing his mainframe was compromised he comissioned stronger software to protect his bionic brain.
Kiryuu Double Barreled Revolver
A massive handgun, similar to a sawed-off shotgun, but with spinning barrels. The weapon can be loaded with 6 different types of ammo. The ammo forms 3 pairs that enhance the effects of their pair.
Flame + Wind = Bursting Inferno
Water + Ice = Flowing Blizzard
Lighting + Magma = Exploding Bolt
