The redhead’s chains clanked when the golem deflected them, and she quickly whipped them back to spool around her arms. “Well, that’s an interesting offer. Counteroffer- piss off.” The segments all snapped together, turning what looked like nunchucks into a spear. She threw a few rapid thrusts at Anzo’s chest before she had to bend over backwards to avoid Lapis’ water attack. She dodged it cleanly, but before she could spring back up, the cloud of perfume passed over her. She gagged as she shot off to the side. “Peppermint? Is it Christmas already?” She smirked, but her nose was twitching.
Her spear’s head lowered at Lazuli’s leg, but before she could do whatever she planned, she felt a grip on her feet. She looked down to find fingers of concrete wrapped around her ankles. Gregory’s skin had the same color and texture as the floor now, and with his hand on the floor it seemed he had some sort of control over it. “Huh. That one’s new.” Trapped, she needed time, so time she bought. She called upon the spells trapped within the spear. The first she launched at Anzo, a green bubble that would rob him of gravity if it touched him. A levitation spell she would normally keep for herself, but it made a good distraction for the unready. Her spear scraped a line in the concrete before her and a shimmering barrier rose up. It was a good 8 feet tall, and with that cover she quickly began destroying the concrete fingers holding her down.

"Piss off!" Anzo would let out a sigh after hearing her remark and immediately struck him in his chest with quick blows. He of course took the attack head on, but felt no pain. Do Golem's even feel pain? Anzo sure didn't. But as she was distracted with the Golem, it was Lapis' turn to attack and she didn't just that — however, it proved to be in vein as the red-head bent backwards to avoid her attack. Then it was Lazuli's turn, attacking the woman with some sort of gas with a peppermint aroma. Gregory had the right idea as he attempted to subdue and pin her to the ground.
The crystalline apparatus in his head quickly emerged at the site of the red-head's green bubble. Scanning it, Anzo would immediately that something was off about it. But to test his theory more. The Golem would lunge his knife forward, as the tip pierced the bubble he head release his grip on his seemingly ordinary knife and watch as it floated in place. "Interesting ability." he complimented, but as he said that he would dash forward maneuvering around the bubble to make his way closer to the woman. His fists clenched tightly and held close to his chest, kinda like a boxer. As he closed in — he would shoot his right arm forward with quick and powerful right jab at her right shoulder. If it were to connect, the red-head's shoulder would have been dislocated upon impact and she would have a much harder time dealing with the four of them. Though, this also would mean he would leave himself wide open if she were to create a second gravity bubble. He wouldn't be able to maneuver round it like he did with the first one. "It's four against one. The odd's are in our favor. So give up."

The redhead avoided their attacks and switched her focus to Lazuli. She pointed her spear at Lazuli's leg, but she didn't get a chance to attack before Gregory stepped in. A concrete hand grabbed onto her foot and made her have to pause again. "Sweet, fancy concrete magic! I owe you one!" Then she turned back to their opponent.
"The magic robot is right!" Lazuli said, trying to position herself to the redhead's side, behind her barrier. "Four on one. If you stop being a jerk, we might just let you join us still. Maybe." Leaves and flower petals started swirling around Lazuli. She put out her palm and they coalesced into a giant clump. If the redhead didn't comply, she'd throw it into her face. Sure, it wouldn't hurt her, but it would explode into a distracting and blinding swirl around her head.

As soon as the girl was caught Lapis followed with her Ocean spray attack, a fine mist that when inhaled would make her target spend twice the energy for any move, if the tried to keep resisting, at least that way she would tire out much faster
"She nearly broke my neck back there, we will talk once we have properly subjugated her!"-Lapis added, not stopping to talk with her. After all, she had denied all previous attempts at diplomacy.
"Don't let her escape! If we lose sight of her, she is gonna be a pain to deal with!"

Anna went pale when the robot ducked around her bubble, weaving into her space like a boxer. His fist punched through her barrier, slowed but not stopped. Held down by the concrete fingers, she was pelted by both Lapis and Lazuli’s attacks, blind and confused when she was struck. She miscalculated his trajectory and took the hit head on. The concrete fingers holding her snapped and she was launched bodily into the shelf behind her. Fortunately for her, there were no weapons on this shelf. She only struck a vase, wrapped up in bubble wrap. It wasn’t enough to stop her from pulverizing it with her body, and as she rolled to her feet, already feeling the effects of Lapis’ mist slowing her down, something else was rising from the bubble wrap. A humanoid figure, head to toe pitch black but for a golden mask depicting a humanoid face. They rose slowly, shaking off bubble wrap and turning their gaze slowly around the room. By the fragments on the floor, they could not have possibly fit in the vase she had smashed, but there they lay anyway. When their gaze turned upon Anna, she shrugged. “Yeah, screw this.” Her spearhead flew off and dragged her into the darkness. The mysterious figure turned their head back to look at the group, mask as immobile and inexpressive as could be.

The four of them worked in unison to try and subjugate the woman. Their attacks were all a success and landed. The group seemed to work well together. Anna was thrown back into a cabinet, however, what the group did not realize was the bubble-wrapped, wrapped vase that she was struck by. The vase was smashed, broken into pieces. From inside the bubble wrap and shadowed figure emerged donning a golden mask depicting a humanoid face. The figure turned to face the group. The woman retreated, leaving the group with the shadowed figure.
Anzo leaped backward, in order to create some distance between him and the new arrival. "..." The golem said nothing, but kept his crystal 'eye' on the enigmatic figure. He should little to no emotion, almost mimicking the shadowed figure.
Though he ever so slightly turned his attention to his new acquaintances only to view them in his peripheral visions, all the while keeping his main focus on the figure that stood before them. He was clearly waiting to hear what they had to say about this new circumstance that stood before them and perhaps one of them had an idea to subdue the creature.

The group overwhelmed Anna with a serious barrage. She was too cocky and now she was sprawled against the wall. But their clash wasn't without collateral. They managed to shatter one of the vases and the situation suddenly turned into a question mark. Despite her sister's demands, Lazuli was too busy warily backing away from the black creature from the pot to even consider giving chase to the escaping redhead. She would have to be a problem for the future. If they beat her once, they can do it again.
"Woah, i don't know what that is, but I think we should put it back before it eats us. Um, golem guy, you wouldn't happen to have glue on you?" Lazuli looked at the shards on the ground. No, those probably can't be used again. Well, plan B. The powder from the fight with Anna sunk into the floor and vines lashed out from the ground, trying to wrap up the black creature.

"Oh great, Is there any chance we can avoid attracting the attention of any more freaks?!"-Lapis said as she noticed the new figure.
"Not just that, she actually escaped! the one thing I told everyone to be aware of! Now we gotta watch our backs at every corner!"
This whole situation was ruined, who knew what this new guy's intentions were or what he was capable of, Lapis and her sister were here for a simple rain maker device!

“What would we do with her if she didn’t escape? Kill her?” Gregor looked carefully at Lapis. “Now everybody be calm, maybe we can- Lazuli!” Gregor was far too slow to stop the vines that burst from the ground. The masked figure seemed equally surprised, easily snagged and dragged to its knees. They didn’t struggle or show any signs of anger or panic, simply observing their bindings. After a moment, they wriggled. Limbs thinned and thickened at will. Joints popped free and snapped back together. As easily as pulling free of a loose sweater, they shrugged off the vines and stood up. Their deformed body snapped back into regular form, and now they approached.
They changed nothing about their body language, no aggression at all, and Gregor finally took a risk. He stepped forward, right into the stranger’s path. “I’m sorry we attacked you. We were just fighting somebody else and we got a little excited. My name is-” Gregor’s heart stopped when the stranger grabbed his face. Fingers distended to wrap further, feeling at his skull. It took a moment to realize he was in no way under attack, just… inspection? The other hand grasped his shoulders, his chest, tried to go downwards and was grabbed. “No. Hands to yourself.” Gregor said, and finally got an actual reaction from the stranger. They slipped free of his grasp, hands up, palms out, a universal gesture of good intentions. “And absolutely don’t grope the girls.” He added. He wasn’t sure if the creature understood him, but it seemed to obey, in a way. Its attention was on the golem now, and it approached, leaning just centimeters away from his face. Not touching now, but certainly not respecting personal space. Just what was this guy?

“What would we do with her if she didn’t escape? Kill her?” Gregor looked carefully at Lapis. “Now everybody be calm, maybe we can- Lazuli!” Anzo did nothing but watch as the scene played out. Though his main focus was keeping his eyes, if you even want to call the crystal in his skull his eyes? He merely just watched as the entity wriggled from it's bindings and managed to stand like nothing had happened. Though as it slowly approached the group, Anzo still had not done anything but watch. He felt no ill intent coming from the entity. He didn't even jump into action when Gregory's face was snatched up. Perhaps Anzo felt the similarity between this creature and himself? Though the entity upon finishing his inspection of Gregory, it made it's way to Anzo.
As their faces were just centimetres away from each other, Anzo just stared down at the creature. Not moving a muscle as if not to startle it and give it no reason to suddenly attack. Not long after, Anzo began to speak. "You understand us, correct? How long were you trapped in that vase?" Though upon examining the creature he expected it to not say anything. He did however, expect it to gester it like it did before when it clearly tried to apologize for almost groping Gregory's genitals.

The creature just shrugged off Lazuli's vines and she gulped. Nobody else was doing anything! Luckily this thing didn't seem interested in fighting them. It was just... Interested. Creepily so, as it started groping Gregory. He stopped it before it got even more invasive though and told it to not touch her and her sisters which, ew, she didn't even think of that! Creepy creep creature. At least it didn't hold grudges, she thought.
"So, uh, what are you exactly?" She asked while it examined the golem. It was spooky how similar the two seemed like that, it was like looking at a pair of twins finding each other after many years, even if they weren't that similar physically. "Can you, like, write if you can't talk?"

"Why would that be the only other option?! are you crazy? I could have put her to sleep with my powers, duh!"-Lapis replied to exasperated, why do people jump to the most horrible conclusions out of nowhere? how damaged was this guy? The magical girl canceled her transformation as she stored her gem.
The creature interrupted her train of thought, despite being creepy, it really didn't seem to be agressive, at least, for the time being. Lapis, being more of a pacifist, was slightly relieved by this.
"Yeah, I would rather you stay where you are sis, just seems like a curious creature, so no need to try and hurt it anyway. let's...just stay put until something happens"

“No, I’m sorry, you’re right. That wasn’t a fair accusation.” Gregory was already so tired and they hadn’t been in here an hour. Were they any closer to finding what they were looking for than when they entered? The masked creature didn’t move while it was spoken to, just silently listening. It processed their words for a while before finally, a voice came from behind the mask. “Can… talk.” It was a man’s voice, saying every word with the exact cadence in which he had heard it from them. He turned and looked at the vase, pausing another moment. “...long.” Gregory was stunned. Was it learning English as they spoke, just from them? It seemed that way. “Well, we need to find some magical artifacts. Would you like to come with us? If thats alright with everybody.” Gregory decided to make the offer. He would feel bad leaving this guy here. He didn’t seem to know the modern world, and if the guards found him wandering around, who knows what they would do. “Come.” The masked man nodded. “Alright, great. So uh, let’s find that water maker. Should be somewhere back this way…” As they walked further into the warehouse’s depths, the masked man kept staring at everybody, but in particular Anzo.

Anzo couldn't help drown the others out, as he kept his attention on the figure before them. It wasn't at all his intention to seem rude but sometimes Anzo just can't help that. He listened to the masked figure, but as he was speaking, Anzo's face shot open to reveal the crystalline apparatus. The crystal began to glow, something that the others have yet to witness for themselves. The Golem would raise his hands, his palms started to glow the same luminescent glow as the crystal.
What exactly was going through Anzo's head at this time? Well, his curiosity had got the better of him as he was attempting to scan the figure with his Edifaction ability. Normally this would only work magic item's, however, he at least wanted to at least give it a try. Perhaps he could find something hidden that the masked figure had on him, or quite possibly it had nothing on him and if that were the case then this spell would just fizzle out "Reading... Reading..."

The creature proved to have a weird intelligence. It clearly understood everything they were saying, but it could only repeat the words it had heard. And even then only in the tone is heard. "I'm totally okay with letting the magical weirdo along since already have one of those," Lazuli looked at Anzo who was 'reading' the creature with his magic face crystal, "but are we sure it wasn't, like, trapped for a reason? Maybe it's a killer god looking for revenge?"
Still, as long as it didn't touch her, she figured she could handle it following them. Though the eyes beneath its mask staring at her unnerved her. Why. Is. It. So. Creeeepy!

"Well...whatever it is, it's not of our concern. I mean, we just came for the water artifact so, let's keep moving"
Lapis noticed how curious the creature was to everything in its surroundings, it seemed to understand their language to some degree so, maybe it wasn't trapped all that long in there? who knows.
"so uh, you ok there? you seem pretty worn out, dude"-Lapis told Gregory, who just had a rather tired semblance all over him

The stranger jumped back when Anzo’s face opened. He stared, then leaned in. The crystal would register no magical items, although reading into his physical structure would find that he was inhuman to the core. He simply wasn’t made of the same things as a human. Muscles, bone, organs, all were composed of different stuff. When they moved on again, the creature stuck close to Anzo, seemingly most interested in the golem out of the whole group. “Yeah, I’m… I was just planning on slipping in and taking some pictures of something. And now all this has happened and as far as I can tell, we aren’t any closer to any of it.” Gregory sighed. “Now I’ve got another tag-along and I still don’t know what the robot is looking for, and I don’t know what the thing you two want looks like.” He had been a guide for a moment, but now the map was lost and they were pretty much aimless in these endless shelves. These thoughts puttered to a confused stop when a low wall came into view in the dim light. It was concrete, the same dull slate grey as everything else around here, about chest height for Gregory. When they reached the wall, he looked over and found a pond, extending into the distance far beyond what the gloom let them see and in each direction. There was a constant gurgle, the distant trickle of pipes in action. “...hey, think your water-maker is here and they just can’t turn it off?” He asked, sniffing the air. It was freshwater alright.

Not at all surprised by the entities reaction to the opening of his skull, though, showing no emotion, remaining as stoic as before. His arms dropped to his sides and his face closed once again as the group continued their journey. Listening the the conversation that went on between others, but he remained silent. Anzo had no idea what he was looking for, however, he would know when he spot it.
The group made it to a low bearing wall made of concrete and behind that very wall was a pond, the sound of pipes causing the water to gurgle. The smell of fresh water filled the air, yup it was in fact fresh water and by the look of Gregory's face, it confirmed his hunch. The Golem turned to the sisters, cocking his head to the side. "Could this be what the two of you were looking for?" he asked.

Well, the creature was too peaceful for Lazuli to really believe it was an angry god, but she still didn't exactly trust it, even as it apparently joined their party. Well, she's glad the golem made a friend at least... Unless the golem also turns out to be a magical killer machine... But now she was just getting paranoid for no reason.
Going further through the warehouse, Gregory started despairing since, for all the trouble they went through tonight, they sure weren't having luck finding anything they came here to get. he almost seemed ready to give up until they ran across a curious pond in the middle of the building. Could this be what they're looking for!?
"I don't see the thing we read about. I think it's, like, described as a mangled stick with fancy runes and magic and stuff. But even if it's not the exact thing we came here for it, whatever's making that water is a good replacement! Let's go check it out!" She pointed and started marching over to the pond. How deep could it be anyway?

"See? you were giving up too early!"
Lapis told gregory as she rushed towards the water body
"Hmmm, if it's doing the same thing we need, then it probably is! Oh this is going to make things a lot easier back at H2Org! Let's go!" Lapis hopped into the pond and tried sensing the contents, manipulating the water around her like an extension of her body. if she could feel where the current was coming from, then perhaps she could pinpoint the exact location of the artifact. "I'll try to find the source, you guys back me up!"
