“Oh.” Gregory said when the robot casually put his arm back on. Well that explained a lot about his behavior. It was hard to be careful when you were that tough. Gregory had noticed his own caution slipping more than once after he got his powers. “Yeah, he’s right, don’t touch stuff.” He agreed with the android before he was approached by one of the twins. “Huh, okay. Well that seems useful.” He was secretly relieved that they didn’t want some ancient weapon. “Any idea what kind of object it is though? That’s how my map is organized.” He showed how it had amulets, weapons, cutlery, tablets, everything separated out by what kind of object it was. Towards the entrance there was mostly smaller stuff, kept in endless bins around them, but they were already emerging into a new and strange place.
The shelves gave way to a field of furniture, row upon row of beds, wardrobes, empty bookshelves, and other things that would not be out of place in a living room. They were ornate and fabulous to the last, rare woods, trim of gold and silver, magical fabrics weaved around their corners. The few modern appliances tossed in, the rare washing machines and even a toilet, were less ornate, but their presence here could only mean they were something fantastical. “This is a big section. The stuff here takes up a lot of space.” Gregory noted. His map wasn’t to scale, but he had still marked off a big square for it. For a moment, he thought this section might be less guarded for the simple fact that it was so difficult to take anything from it, but then a knocking came from one massive wardrobe, twice the height of anybody in the group. “What was that?” Gregory whispered.

The golem looked at the young-ling with a peaked interest in the young one. "If I told you the answer; Then you wouldn't learn anything. So instead, I'll give you a hint." Anzo replied. "If you were to yell as loud as you can, but then go quiet. What would you hear?" the golem added, making his way back to the group to notice the map in Gregory's hands.
Though, at first Anzo ignored the way that they were looking at him. But something in side him wouldn't let him ignore it anymore and he had to say something about it. Perhaps he wanted them to trust him. "From the way you look at me. It would seem that you have never seen a Golem before."

"An echo?" Lazuli mused. But she wasn't sure how that counted as the answer. Speak without a mouth, sure. But she couldn't link it to the rest of the riddle. Ugh, her brain felt like it was melting from thinking about it so hard. Maybe she was just too stupid to understand. Or maybe she'll figure it out eventually. Just give it some time.
She stepped closer to her sister again. "It's, like, a stake or something? You just stick it in the ground and poof. I dunno what that counts as," she explained to Gregory. "It's small enough to be hidden easily, I think."
Anzo also finally decided to open up to them, just a bit. "A golem?" Lazuli remembered a bit about golems from school. Though not too much. Lapis was right after all, she has the better grades. "So you're like a magic robot then?"

"I think it should count as an amulet, at least, that seems the way you carry it around"-Lapis added to Laz's comment. She then jumped when she heard the knock coming from one of the wardrobes
"Oh, that doesn't sound good...Laz! get over here!"-She told her sister as she readied herself for combat. whatever that thing would be, they should be able to take it down as a group, right? if anything else, they could at least run away.
"If it's too scary, I say we get the hell out of here"

“I admit, I really haven’t.” Gregory whispered to the golem. “But right now, we’ve got something going on with that-” Before he could finish, the wardrobe sprang open, and its interior was revealed; nothing. Nothing could be seen within, like the interior walls had been coated in vantablack. In the next second, it became clear that there was truly nothing within the wardrobe, as the vacuum pulled at them. The wind rushed towards the wardrobe’s gaping opening, pulling everybody in the room closer. Gregory realized the cleverness of the trap as he slid inexorably towards the void.
The suction force was enough to claim any human intruders, but the furniture around it didn’t budge. He was too busy admiring the trap to focus on keeping a grip, and the map went flying from his hands. “Fuck! The map!” He yelled as it slipped away, fluttering into the wardrobe and swiftly vanishing in what seemed to be infinite darkness. His skin turned grey as he activated his powers and his feet immediately found a hold on the concrete floor. “Anybody sliding, cling to me!” He reached out his hand, willing to use his abilities to keep the others safe as well.

"An echo?" the child guessed, but her own surprise, the golem would acknowledge her with a simple nod—which would let her know that she was correct. He didn't say much more after that and instead only listened as talked about some sort of artifact, an amulet to be more precise. Though something startled the older sibling as a sound suddenly was heard from inside a wardrobe; until the wardrobe all of a sudden shot open revealing nothing but utter darkness and a vacuum that began to suck them all inside.
Anzo's eye shot open in an instant as the green crystal inside started to glow. As this happened he knelt to his knees placing his palms to the floor. Scarlet bolts of electricity emitted from his hands as the electricity crackled. What he was doing was simple—Anzo was transmuting the concrete flooring, sacrificing a small portion of himself—his pinky—equivalent exchange. Unless something were to stop him, a thick wall of concrete would erupt from the ground in front of the wardrobe and protecting them from being sucked into the void of the wardrobe. "I hate to be the one to say this. But, I told you so." He would say under his breath. His magic reserves diminished.

Lazuli had gotten the solution to the puzzle right. She wasn't completely convinced the answer matched the riddle, but she still felt strangely happy she'd gotten it right.
As the group looked around for the artifacts they sought, they managed to spring a trap. A magic wardrobe opened up and started sucking them into it. Lazuli threw herself down and did her best to brace for it, but the vacuum was too strong and she slid slowly toward it. She heard Gregory calling out to them, telling them to grab onto his now grey and stony body. She reached for his leg, but before she could grab on, she was picked up off the floor and pulled toward the wardrobe.
As much as slamming into a wall sucked, Lazuli couldn't say she'd have preferred being trapped inside the wardrobe. Anzo's concrete wall was truly timely and Lazuli let him know that while thanking him. She couldn't help but chuckle when he added he told them so. "I don't think you mentioned booby-trapped closets. So... What do we do now? Maybe there are other traps around?"

"Jeez, glad we had the golem, who knows what would happen if you get sucked into that thing"-Lapis said as she went towards her sister, who despite looking alright examined.
"You ok, Laz?"-She said as she combed her sister's hair checking for bruises.
"Let's try and stay clear of more stuff unless we are sure it's the item we want, alright?"-She told her sister and looked at the golem who had just saved their skin.
"And I guess we gotta thank that um, guy later"

“Alright, looks like I’ll have to close it myself.” Gregory readied himself to shape the concrete below his feet, but the android beat him to it. Red bolts of lightning cast a haze over the room, and with a great rumble, a block of concrete rose to block off the yawning black hole of the wardrobe’s interior. The suction was completely cut off and the room was still once more. “Woah. What was that?” Gregory looked at the golem. For a moment, he thought that it had the same power source as him, but after a moment he realized he was using a different process to create the same results. The robot was a bit of an oddball, but he was definitely useful to have around.
“If everybody is alright, we should move. The more portable stuff was this way, I think. That should be what all of you are looking for. Although you still haven’t told me your name, or what you’re here for.” He eyed the golem. The metal man was even more mysterious now. They managed to escape the furniture section without further incidents and found themselves in endless rows of closed-up crates, all unlabeled but marked with codes. They came to a crossroads, across from them walls upon walls of weapons. There, a red-haired girl stood, checking out a sword longer than she was tall. Dressed in scarlet and deep purple-reds, she stood out in this world of grey, and it seemed to take her a moment longer to notice them that it took them to notice her. “Eh? You guys ain’t security.” She raised a quizzical eyebrow at their appearance.

Anzo turned to the sisters, his expression was unchanging as ever. "It was implied." he replied as he stood to his feet. The crystal in his head, glowing ever brightly as it scanned the wardrobe—or to be more precise—the magic inside it, but it was something that he had never seen before. Once the crystal was finished, it was shut behind his eyelids. "You should stay clear of any artifacts. Who knows—everything in this place could be booby-trapped." The golem warned.
"I have no ulterior motives—if that is what you are worried about." Anzo replied. "My name is Magnus, Anzo Magnus." he added. Looking from right to left, up and down as the four of them had now made their way into yet another room, this one filled with an abundance of crates. Though he looked forward, taking notice of a sword wielding red-head. The golem extended his arms out in hopes to halt the sisters; Lapis & Lazuli. "This must be another trap—be on guard." He spoke clearly with his usual stoic tone.

"My fingers are sore but I think I'm okay," Lazuli told her sister while being looked over. "You're okay too, right?"
After making sure both were fine, they proceeded further into the warehouse compley. Lazuli made sure not to touch anything they came across. Not until they found what they came for. What they found instead was a girl all in read. Lazuli decided to call her Red Girl. Still, she scooted over slightly behind the golem calling himself Anzo Magnus. She wasn't going to risk getting attacked by Red Girl when the big guy seemed so capable of protecting them.
"We aren't security, but we can call them. So don't try anything fishy!"

"Yup, looks like we are still both in one piece"-She smiled at her sister as she answered her question.
Lapis lamented to herself how much of a natural liar her sister was. she really didn't hesitate to blurt out nonsense like that. All that was left, was to see if the girl took the bait. At the very least, they had the numeric advantage on this one.
As Lazuli talked to the girl, Lapis slowly reached for the water bottle in her bag, if they had to fight, at least she would have something to use here.

“If you had no ulterior motives you wouldn’t be here.” Gregory mumbled. The golem was inscrutable. If he didn’t want something from the warehouse, Gregory couldn’t figure out why he was here at all. The person they had just met was a little more obvious. “If you’re not security, you’re not supposed to be here either, are you?” The redhead sounded smug for figuring out the obvious. “Wow, where’d you find the robot!? I want a robot!” She ran up to inspect him more closely, leaning around to ohh and ahh at his shiny surfaces. “Hey Mr. Robot, want to come live with me? You can do my laundry and cook my food.” The sword she was inspecting she left behind, but she was still armed. Something like nunchucks dangled in her hand, multiple lengths of pipe connected by chain with a deadly spearhead at one end.

Anzo kept his composure after hearing Gregory's response. But he still had not said a word and continued to look straight ahead. His gaze fixed on the red-head in front of them. Though she quickly moved in closer to inspect the closer. But as she was inspecting him, he was also inspecting her. "No." he replied in a stern tone of voice, only to add more. "What are you doing here child?" he said, but as the words left his vocal cords. Anzo was reaching his right arm behind him, as he reached for the knife he used earlier. His fingers wrapping around the grip, but left the blade in it's sheath. He also took notice of the nun-chucks in the girls hands and kept his guard up cause of it.

"People can work here without being security, you dummy!" Lazuli said, but the girl already found a new target of interest. Lazuli whispered to her sister while the others ignored them. "What do you think, should we go looking for the thing on our own while they're all distracted?" Truth be told, Lazuli was only tempted by her own lack of patience. After that door vacuum she just barely survived, she was very well aware that splitting up and poking random objects was a bad idea. "Maybe we can avoid the traps if we poke them things with sticks first?"

Lapis noticed Anzo reaching for his knife and decided it was time to go. let them deal with that.
"Actually sis, I think you are right, let's go!"-The water mage held her sister's hand and ran past the group
"Laters!"-She said as she waved at them. Now, where to begin? the artifact ought to be close, no?
"So? where is you gut feeling telling you to go?"-Lapis asked her sister.

“Aw, well that’s a shame.” The redhead pouted. “Me? Same thing as you guys. I’m stealing some stuff. I guess you guys want to put it in nicer terms though? You’re liberating it from the rich jerks who squirreled it away?” She snorted, but her attention was more focused than it appeared. The instant the twins tried to leave, she wheeled and her chains flashed out. She tried to loop them around Lapis’ neck from behind and even lunged up behind her to kick her legs out from under her. “Woah, who said you could leave? I still don’t know what you guys are looking for, but here’s a warning. The good stuff is mine.” “Let go of her!” Gregory immediately yelled, reaching out to grab the redhead. She ducked his grab and flicked her chains again. He found his arm entangled, and with the leverage she flipped him off of his feet. “No offense, but I deal with people way tougher than you guys on the regular.” She put a foot on his chest and looked back at Anzo. “Mr. Robot, I think you should leave. I’m taking all the good stuff in here, so if you wanted anything, well, too bad.”

As the twins attempted to leave, that is when the red-head made her move. Chains flashed out in an attempt to strangle Lapis' neck. But Anzo wouldn't of allowed that to happened. Since he was ready from the moment he saw the red-head. The golem ripped his knife from it's sheath in such a way that he slashed at the chains to deflect them away from the twins. Putting himself in the middle of it all.
"You can have it all. All I ask is that you all me to examine each and everyone item. But you will not harm a singular hair on these peoples head." He proposed a counter offer, ignoring the woman's impromptu warning. Bending his knees slightly, with his knife held at the ready in front of him. He spoke his mind, which was weird for him to do. He had never once felt like this before in his entire life. But for once he felt as if he now had a purpose. As he readied himself for another lash of the red-head's chains, he looked to Gregory and without saying anything. The golem gave him the slightest of nods as if he had a plan. But it was all based on what Gregory decided to do next.

Lapis jumped in surprise when the golem intercepted the attack that was meant for her.
"You want tough? We'll show you tough! Laz, let's do it!"
Lapis called for her sister as she took out a blue stone out of her pocket
a flash of light covered Lapis and a bright blue attire took place
"Lapis Spray enters the fight!"-She clamied as she took flight, casting the wet earth spray and condensing it into a water like sphere, shooting it towards her attacker. If connected the wet earth spell would greatly reduce her speed

The redhead showed her true nature faster than either Lapis or Lazuli could react! Luckily, the golem was faster and managed to protect Lapis before she could be hurt.
"I don't know about tough, but we won't be bossed around by a snobby thief!"
Lazuli took out a stone, blue like her sisters and was enveloped in a bluish cacoon that soon shifted into a dark green before exploding. "Lazuli Essence blossoms under pressure!" She struck a fancy pose in her viridian kimono. She plucked a leaf off of her outfit and shook it above her head, producing a brief green mist above her. Satisfied with the result, she threw the flower toward the redhead.
When it got close to her, it would burst into the same mist floating above Lazuli. Inhaling it would result in a mild pain, localized around her nose. But then it would spread and grow in intensity, the longer she was exposed to the strong peppermint smell.
