It was classy, as bars went. Bright lighting, a mahogany counter shining in dark reddish brown. Wine glasses with various colored spots hung upside down under the lights, casting rainbow dots over the comfortable seats by the bar. Red leather covered the seats of the booths around the walls, similarly comfortable but much softer velvety coverings on the seats around the tables that filled the rest of the room between booths and bar.
As expensive as everything was, the bar was oddly empty. One booth was occupied by two young women sitting together with food but no drinks. The bar was occupied by two people. On one end, a Japanese man sat with a sword disguised as a practice bokken that wasn't looked at too closely at the door leaning against his stool. The rumors of this bar being a Yakuza front may not have been entirely unfounded.
At the other end of the bar, an Asian woman in a beautiful blue dress rested her face in her arms, a bright blue drink at her side. She checked her watch again. She grumbled and sat up. "Uh... hi." She said to the odd fellow she sat near, tapping her finger on the edge of her glass. She might as well try again if this night wasn't working out the way she wanted. The long-haired man's sword fell over, clashing hard on the floor. Jun quickly hopped off her stool, grateful for the excuse to move closer. She crouched and reached for the fallen sword to pick it up.
Behind those at the bar, one table was occupied by a few young Japanese men. They were dressed inconspicuously in suits, all smoking except for one. He wore a surgical mask, covering his mouth and nose. It didn't hide that he was dreadfully pale, his skin marked with blemishes and deep bags under his sunken eyes. His short hair was seaweed green, chopped unevenly so it looked blobby. He occasionally coughed, a noise harsher than nails on a chalkboard. Despite this, the others seemed to defer to him in their subtle body language, all looking to him more than each other while speaking.

Katsuo cradled a cup of sake in his hands when he was approached by a beautifully dressed woman. She greeted him and he responded in kind. The sword by his side fell over when she got close. Katsuo doubted it was because of poor positioning. He bent over quickly and picked it up before the woman had a chance to touch it. He wasn't sure what Shi would do if the woman touched her, even if she was bound in her sheathe.
"Thank you," he said, for she at least tried to assist.
Meanwhile, over at the tables, Remilia was eating karaage, deep-fried chicken. She doubted her teachers would appreciate her eating deep fried food, but since chicken is full of protein it was justifiable. She appeared relaxed, but her eyes would occasionally scan the entire bar and she kept her purse close. This was, after all, a mission for her. She tried to dress so as not to be conspicuous, going casual but not too casual for a classy place like this. She worse a simple dress shirt and a long skirt, giving her a degree of freedom of movement, and combat boots.
"This chicken is pretty good," she told her companion, more to not draw attention than because of the food's quality

The person sitting across from Remilia seemed significantly more conspicuous than the quantum hacker. She wore a simple black t-shirt over a pair of blue jeans that went down to her ankles. There appeared to be a strange orange undershirt she was wearing that clung tightly to the area just below her neck. Her long orange hair was tied back in a ponytail behind her head as paused eating the plate of sushi on her plate. The piece on her chopsticks was completely covered in wasabi sauce, Ash taking the hot sauce as a challenge to her pride.
"Oh really? This sushi is great too!" She declared. Ash didn't eat sushi often, so she ordered whatever sounded coolest, in this case being the dynamite roll. She popped another piece into her mouth as she heard the sword clatter to the floor. "Huh...dude has a sword." Ash remarked. The enthusiastic doll knew they were here on a mission...but waiting here was so boring! A hero waits for nobody! She made a passing glance toward the people gathered in the back. "Sooo...see any cool movies lately?!" Ash asked, taking another bite out of her food.

Jun awkwardly stood while the man picked up his own sword. This was a mistake. This was all a mistake. She shouldn't have come. "But if you didn't come and he did, would you not be standing him up?" The Shattered One wasn't trying to be a smartass, she knew. He really just didn't get humans at all. It still stung a little. I'll explain later. Just let me salvage this night. Somehow. She was already standing awkwardly for the last few seconds talking to a demon in her head! She abruptly sat in the stool next to his. "I hope you don't mind if I sit here." Too bold? Oh god, it had to be!
Jun wasn't the only one to think she was being too bold. A warm wind brushed gently across Katsuo's hand, winding its way up his arm until it caressed his cheek like a stroking hand. "Katsuo... can you tell her to go away? We were having a good time here. She's annoying. And ugly. Look at that pill-shaped face." A voice that was the auditory version of a field of sunflowers channeled the sourness of rotten pickles soaked in lemon juice when talking about Jun's looks.
Back at the table of the three young men, there seemed to be a discussion. A game of jan-ken-pon quickly followed, and the winner stood up from the table and smoothed back his short blue hair. He stepped away from the table, walking over to Remelia and Ash's table. He looked striking in his red suit when he shortly bowed. "Hello, ladies. We were just wondering if you'd like to join our card game. No real stakes, of course, we just feel it's better with more than three people. Unless you want the real games of course. We can show you those." The faintest hint of a smirk touched his flat face.

"No, the seat is free," Katsuo told the woman. The bushido code demanded politeness and a real swordsman would wield their blade, not the other way around. It wasn't spite, but he couldn't listen to Shi's demands.
Remilia noticed the way the man slicked back his hair before approaching them. Inside she felt a combination of disgust and amusement brewing, although neither showed through her stoic mask. The man approached and she feigned interest at his proposal.
"Real game?" Remilia asked, morphing her expression into one of insecurity. "I don't know, university students have too much money. What do you think?" Remily asked her companion.

"Yeah, what's this real game you're talking about?!" Ash asked in a louder-than-necessary voice. She was already a little annoyed by Remilia ignoring her question about movies, and now this person was being vague about what he wanted to challenge them to! "So what's the bet for a real game? Money? Favors? Pride? Limbs?!" Ash asked with interest in her eyes. This place already looked sketchy, so she figured all these weren't out of the question stakes for a game of cards. In truth, she had little idea of how to play any card game besides poker, uno and go-fish. She and her family frequently played board games though, Ash not doing great at most of them since Jane, Haven and Yuu were frequently the more tactical players. Ash much preferred to play video games or outdoor activities than with these lame pieces of cardboard.

She did it! He was receptive! Or just polite. She snarled at her inner monologue scrambled for further words that would lead back to her apartment. "So... interesting bar, letting you bring that in, isn't it?" Jun pointed at Shi no Kaze. She had her own sword at her hip, but wrapped in layers of illusion and invisibility until she chose to draw it. She felt a breeze, like somebody had opened the door. Her bare arms broke out in goosebumps.
"Well, if you insist on fucking this whore... fine!" Shi's voice nearly cracked in Katsuo's ears. "But I will only accept it if you make her a toy. Humiliate her, use her up like a cum rag!" Shi no Kaze dove, trying to blow Jun's skirt up, but it barely budged with her sitting position and it's clingy tightness. The only effect on Jun was another cold breeze and an odd noise in the air, like an angry hum. "Perhaps he also has a demon companion." The Shattered One suggested. "Or he's haunted." Jun mumbled back under her breath.
Jun considered whether she was desperate enough to have a one night stand with a man who was haunted. A scream deep inside her insisted she very much was. She gave him a weak smile as she tried to contain her confusion and anxiety. Wait, this is perfect! The smile became real. "Uh, I hate to say something weird like this... but if you've got a ghost problem, I can help. I can't kill them, but if I cut them up it does hurt them and they usually go away." Oh wait... this sounds insane if he's normal... or if he just doesn't have ghosts and the weird stuff is just me being paranoid. Her smile faltered again.
"Ah, never mind what I said about the back. How about a casual game, no money, just cards for the sake of cards? Hell, if you win, I'll pay both your checks." His smile was open, charming. He truly didn't seem to have ulterior motives deeper than charming a university girl out of her pants, although that didn't mean he didn't have any. He glanced back at his table. The sick looking man was looking over his shoulder at Katsuo and Jun, not paying attention to the booth. The other man at the table faintly smiled when he saw he was being paid attention. He looked similar to the man speaking to them; about 20 at the oldest, sharp features, and long limbs besides an average build otherwise. His red hair was a touch longer than his apparent twin's and his suit was sky blue. He waved the card pack as a reminder and set his drink down.

The woman questioned Katsuo about his sword. "They had to," he answered her. "Or it would not have ended well for them." The comment earned a glance from the bartended, although he went back to whatever he was doing after Katsuo chuckled and took a sip of his sake. Shi no Kaze didn't approve. After some harsh comment from her, Katsuo turned away and muttered, "Enough, Shi. We're just here for a drink. Behave yourself," before turning back and pushing the handle of his sword deeper into the sheathe.
His efforts at subtlety were, unfortunately, of little use. The woman appeared to be aware of Shi, at least to some extent. That was worrying for two main reasons. The first that she herself was apparently a member of the hidden world. It's been a while since he had dealing with that. After he was taken to an interview by officers of the JHWAB, he only ran into the hidden world a few times. The most notable was when he attempted hiding out in the mountains of Japan. He was attacked by large numbers of tengu and kappa. He even ran into a yuki-onna with which Shi had quite a spat with. Needless to say, he gave up on that plan. The second issue he had was with her offer.
"Thank you for the offer, but Shi no Kaze is just overly protective. I would not let anyone harm her." Katsuo's voice let the woman know he was serious, although it didn't harbor any ill will.
Remilia considered the proposal. "That sounds wonderful," she said. It would be easier to keep an eye on them if they could also hear them. Aside from the man at the bar who had a sword, the men at the table were the most suspicious people here. Not that that was saying much. "What are we playing?" Remilia asked, before looking at Ash and raising an eyebrow as if asking her 'So, are we going?'

The man's retraction of the 'real game' made Ash frown in disappointment. "Oh come on, what's a real game played for?! Don't tease me with the idea and retract it! But fine...what's the game and how do we play?" The loud doll asks. The idea of playing a game with these scary-looking people excited Ash. She was going to be a real detective, matching minds with these people! Ash wasn't paying attention to what the other men at the table where he came from, nor the two sitting at the bar. She did notice Remilia's expression, and excitedly nodded her head in affirmation. Ash was going to experience this weird game if it was the last thing she did!

Jun's smile became more confused and pained when Katsuo implied he would have killed the bouncer if he hadn't been able to bring his sword in. He was kidding, right? He had to be, she decided. No way he was that crazy. Random people she met in bars were trustworthy. Oh god, I am desperate. Shattered, remind me to make more time for dates. I need to make sure I never do this again. "Understood, Jun. Who will you ask out?" I'll work on that part later.
"Oh, I apologize. I did not realize that. Please, let me make up the offense by buying you a drink." "That was quite smooth." The Shattered One complimented. I know! I can't believe it! Although now I have second thoughts... I'll have two people peeking in if I actually pull this off. "The ghost and?" You. "Ah. I have little interest in such things, trust me. The thought is honestly quite repulsive. Your hairy primate bodies melding their sticky flesh, that unbearable fluid exchange, it's worse than eating!" ...thank you, Shattered. "You are welcome, Jun. I will simply think of that pleasant art exhibit you took me to." Jun internally grumbled, but outwardly, her smile looked genuine once more. She was smooth! At last!
Shi no Kaze mumbled and grumbled for a moment. "So... you aren't going to have sex with her, Kat?" Hope rose in her voice as she gently ruffled Katsuo's hair. "Tell me honeeeest, Kaaaaat. Tell me true so I don't have to worry." She whined, flicking Jun's hair to make her crest slip. Jun frowned and fixed it, searching in empty space for the invisible tormentor.
"How about this; if you win, I'll tell you about the real games. Sound good, ladies?" He offered before slapping his forehead. "Oh, how could I be so rude! I'm Nakajima Ryo. What are your names?" He offered his hand to each in turn. "Back at the table is my brother Nakajima Ryota and our friend Akiyama Kichiro. The shrimp's for sharing and I can order you some drinks, so don't worry about that."

"I promise." Katsuo again muttered under his breath to calm Shi's worries before turning back to Jun.
"I accept your offer. I'll have warm sake." Katsuo told Jun with a smile and a nod. One might at this point assume he was purposefully leading Jun on, or perhaps that he was lying to Shi no Kaze. In truth, he really didn't figure out Jun's secret goal and he wrote off Shi no Kaze's worries as her strange brand of paranoia as it usually was exactly that. He thought Jun was just being polite and perhaps bored with her night out.
"Ah, right. I am Takashi Katsuo."
"Free food and a fun time? Sounds good to me." Remilia feigned more interest. It wasn't particularly hard. Free food really did sound good with her student's budget that relied mostly on money her grandfather left her. "I am Arling Remilia. Pleased to meet you."

"And I'm Ash Arachne! The only perfect human being in the universe." Ash confidently leaned back into her seat, crossing her arms with conviction. "Nice to meet you, mister Nakajima!" She loudly started, shaking his hand. She gave a small wave toward the other two sitting on the far side of the room after Nakajima referenced them. "So you didn't tell us...what game are we playing?" Ash slides off her chair and stands up proudly, looking at Ryo and motioning for Remilia to get up as well. "So Remmy! You good with cards?" She asks, still having no idea what they are playing.

"Ah, westerners, as I thought! Would you be more comfortable with English? We all speak it just fine. As for the game, does poker sound good to you?" Ryo suggested, leading them back to his table. "These are Arachne and Arling. Want me to deal them in?" He sat and shuffled the deck, fingers working quickly. He showed off with his speed, standing cards up in houses before pushing them over to shuffle back into the deck. "Not yet. I need to talk to the guy over there." The ill-looking man stood and walked towards the bar.
"Oh come on, man! Ah well. You two want drinks?" Ryo asked. His twin gave them a glance over, seeming to be checking their pockets and sleeves for any sign of cards. When he saw none, he relaxed, looking strikingly similar to his brother. "What brings two western girls to this bar anyway? You go to that Inazuma school? Oh yeah, don't worry, everybody's Hidden World in here." Ryouta dismissively waved his hand like he was swatting away the idea of secrecy itself.
"Jun Li. One warm sake, please." Jun gestured to the bartender, and soon a cup was at Katsuo's side. Jun was about to say something again, but the green-haired man from the table came lurching over. He drug his feet like he could barely walk, eyes full of tiredness and body hunched. He nearly fell over getting onto the stool next to Katsuo, flopping partially onto the bar counter. "Ugh.. it's one of my bad days. Bartender, my mix please." His voice was raspy and quiet, faint enough the bartender was clearly straining to hear him. When a cup full of something purple, not quite looking like wine, was placed in front of him, he took a grateful sip before turning to Katsuo.
"That's better. So, Takashi Katsuo. I've been looking for you. The boss wants you to leave Japan. At the very least, leave the island. He'll pay for the plane ticket." He held up a wad of bills, more than enough for a ticket anywhere. "...excuse me?" Jun leaned around Katsuo to glare at the man at the other end of the bar. "Is this... a job thing?" Had she misheard? He spoke so quietly. "It has nothing to do with you. I apologize for the inconvenience. I'll let you into the back as recompense. We'll even give you a thousand dollars in chips free. We can end this all as friends, both of you." His smile seemed painful for himself, his watery eyes watering harder.

-Musashi Real Estate-
Akane was meditating on the family Dojo, it was a large structure with a beautiful wooden floor, many portraits of the Musashi family were decorating the walls.
it was hour 36 since Akane started meditating, at first it was really hard, but she was getting the gist of it. her zen meditation would be complete if not for one single interference
*BAM!!*
somebody slammed open the doors of the dojo, Akane slowly opened her eyes, somewhat frustrated from being interrupted. it had to be her sister.
a slim tall girl with white hair entered the dojo with boots on, Akane was still sitting down in a seiza position.
she came close to Akane and began talking as she walked around her. Akane paid no attention to her.
"Hello sis, I was wondering what you were up to today?!"
Akane answered in a calm manner
"Is this about a mission? if not please leave, and take off your boots next time"
Mai grabbed her by the collar of her gi as her tone immediately changed.
"Bitch, you think you are better than I don't you?!! I don't give a f*ck about some stupid code of etiquette! HahAHahAHaHA!!!!"
Mai stomped on the floor, leaving a mark on the floor, some portraits fell and broke.
Akane brushed her arm off with enough force to break her arm, but Mai let go first
"WHAT, YOU WANT TO FIGHT?! BRING IT ON BITCH!!!" mai took a feral position, she had a huge smile on her face.
"what do you want?" Akane answered with a pissed off look.
"Tch, you are no fun...the elders have a mission for you, how dare those idiots send me to give you this shit while I'm busy"
Mai took out a letter from her pocket, it had the family seal on it, she tossed it at her.
"it was about some yakuza place, take care of it" she said with a demeaning voice.
"wait a minute, you are providing me with intel like always! so you arent leaving either!"
"THE HELL I AM!! I'm busy monitoring Ann oneesama" A slightly malevolent grin came out of her after she said that
Akane lost her cool with that one, she didn't know Ann got mixed into this, she grabbed Mai by the neck and slammed her against the wall
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER?! HIDDEN WORLD IS TOO DANGEROUS FOR HER!!"
Mai couldn't stop her grin
"I gave her a virtual machine!! she is in China right now! so I don't have time for your stupid play with the elders right now"
Akane was furious at this point, she never felt such anger before.
"If anything happens to her I will split you into bits you hear me?!!!"
Mai grabbed her own chest with one hand and her leg with the other as she made a gesture of satisfaction
"UMPH!!! you are making me excited sister, don't tease me like that!!"
Akane let go of her sister, she didn't have time for her now.
"when I'm back from this, I'm getting her here. she needs my protection, and you will answer to the elders"
Akane got her swords and changed her clothing to something more fitting, an all black leather jacket and jeans with short combat boots.
she left the Musashi mansion on her H2R as fast as she could.
-At the Bar-
Akane arrived at the bar in a matter of minutes, the place, surprisingly, was to her liking.
as she walked to the front door the Bouncer stepped in front of her, it seems he didn't want her inside
*so this is how it's gonna be?*
"Move" she said in a serious tone
Akane had a pretty bad day thus far, and this would probably be the drop that spilled the glass.

When the green-haired man approached, Katsuo knew he made a mistake. All the effort he put into hiding, ruined in a single night. He got too relaxed, too comfortable, not hiding his figure and freely giving out his name. He was lucky however. Whatever family this man belonged to didn't want him dead, only gone. Leaving yakuza-controlled Japan at no expense to himself... It was a tempting offer, really. But Katsuo still had questions which he posed while his hand hovered close to Shi no Kaze.
"That is a very generous offer. It makes a man curious about what your real goal is. Why would your boss not have me killed like most others tried?"
"I am decent," Remilia answered Ash while getting up from her chair. "People compliment my poker face."
Just as the two got to the table, the sickly-looking man got up to talk to the man at the bar. Remilia sat on the chair opposite the bar so she could keep an eye on them.
"I will just have a beer, thank you," she said. Suddenly she was caught off guard by them asking why westerners are here. No, she was caught off guard by the fact they knew she was from Inazuma.
"We are just here to have some fun. How did you know where I was from? How did you know we are part of the hidden world? Are you not afraid of exposing yourselves to normal people?" Remilia came to grips with the fact she was part of the hidden world since she joined the school teaching hidden worlders how to fight. She wasn't even bothered by the thought of fighting superpowered people anymore. Not much, at least. She would probably handle those wendingos she fought a while back much better now.

Westerners? They actually call people that here? Ash's mind wandered back to what Remilia said about her poker face. "Alright! With your poker face and my card skills, we can win this!" Ash exclaimed as she joined the strange men at their table. She thought for a second about what she wanted to drink. Remmy was having a beer...so she needed something stronger! "One glass of vodka and orange juice, please!" Ash told her newfound 'friends'. The drink was both stronger than the one Remilia ordered, and was orange like her signature color! She listened to Remilia ask her questions to the strange men, and decided to interject with a few of her own. "And by the way...I'm not from Inazuma. I go out and do my own thing! You might have seen me in a few weightlifting competitions!" Ash described. She had only won a few competitions, but that didn't stop her from trying at most chances she got. Hidden World people were strange...since she could never gauge how strong someone is based on appearances.
Leaning back in her chair, Ash watched the man play with the cards. "Soooo...what's he doing? Trying to rope those two into this game too?" Ash asked. The lady looked pathetic, nothing like her own perfect display of confidence! The man looked strange like these people at the table...his calm demeanor not allowing Ash to get a decent read on him. Was he a plant person like Cadence?!

The bouncer was the human equivalent of an English bulldog, short, squat and ugly. He had the sort of face that suggested baldness, but his hair was actually kept in long, luxurious locks falling down the back of his suit. It really was fantastic hair, a deep, floral purple. Apparently when you only have one good feature, you take good care of it. Less obvious was what lay beneath the surface. The Akiyama clan had access to things from beyond this world. Not all of them were powerful, but some of the weakest were the most useful.
All the demon in his head did was memorize things. Hundreds of these were sold to students, accountants, and writers to keep facts in their heads. For the bouncer, it spoke of faces and those who were banned, and Musashi was for certain banned. Nobody from that family could possibly have any decent reason to be here. "People like you aren't welcome. Take it somewhere else, hunter." His voice was higher pitched and less gruff than might be expected from his looks. He was hoping she would just turn around and go. There wasn't a lot he could do about a HW fighter who really wanted to come in.
"I'm just good at reading people. You have the posture of a fighter. You position yourself so that if you had a gun at your hip, you could always grab it. And no coat's bulky enough to hide her arms." Ryouta pointed out the musculature under Ash's clothing. "Huh? I didn't notice all that." Ryo seemed to be paying attention to entirely different things. "Yeah, well that's cause you're a dunce." Ryouta playfully punched his brother's shoulder. "As for being Hidden World, you looked all alert in a Yakuza bar like you knew what it was, but you're not carrying guns, so you aren't cops. So you have to have other means of self defense. Or arresting us. I really hope it's not the latter. I'm just here for cards." Ryouta watched the cards move with hawk's eyes, unnoticed by Ryo.
"Really would be a shame. I just want a fine game with some beautiful ladies and my good friends. Speaking of him, I have no idea what he's doing. Think he's hitting on the girl over there? She looks like his type." He looked over to the bar. "Yeah, sure, let's go with that." Ryouta shrugged. Did it really matter? It was hardly their business.
"And what happened to the people who tried? No, we prefer not to have any bloodshed. We're quite capable if that's what you'd like." The sick man gave a sick smile. "...are you kidding me." Jun mumbled under her breath. Couldn't she just have a normal night out without murder being threatened. "What's going on here? Could you at least explain that?" Jun wasn't asking the intruder, but Katsuo. She hoped that she would get a straighter answer from him. She was answered by a blast of hot wind. Her crystal glass side off the bar and shattered across the floor. "I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL SCALP YOU AND CHOKE YOU WITH YOUR HAIR!" Shi's voice echoed loud enough to be heard at the table across the room and even through the door to the outside. Ryo and Ryouta gave each other confused looks, seeming to be deciding whether to intervene.

Akane towered over the bouncer, she was considering whether or not to beat him down when a massive killer aura shifted her attention.
*What the?!* Her Masamune reacted at the killing intent despite being sheathed, something that made her wonder even more about the situation.
Akane took out of her pocket an ounce of gold and handed it over to the bouncer.
"Take it if you know what's best for you and leave"
*such a strong aura, is this the demon the elders talked about? I must see where this is coming from*
Akane rushed inside with heavy speed. whether the bouncer had taken her offer or not, for someone to intimidate her, it would probably have to be Raijin himself.
As she entered she immediately looked for the source of this madness, on a corner, two men and a woman were talking, but the aura did not belong to any of them.
Upon closer inspection, Akane's eyes widened at the sight of what appeared to be a named blade, it was no demon, just an abused child.
She took a seat and kept looking in their direction, she had never seen a Muramasa in person.
Akane got sad just by looking at the blade, such a beautiful work of art and yet, it was obvious something terrible happened to it, and right now, it was pissed.
Akane did not know the man, but she knew it wasn't possible he was the culprit for the blade being as twisted as it was, after all, there is no way a Muramasa would ever let itself be wielded by an unworthy individual. In fact, stories were told, those blades had a knack for leading their users into tragic endings, Akane considered them mischievous, but not evil. The stories, however, did not match with the bloodthirst of this blade. it was too uncommon even amongst hidden world weapons.
Akane headed for the closest seat and as she set her Masamune and wakizashi on the side she began to look around...what was it that made the Muramasa so angry? was conflict about to begin?!

"That skill must be useful for poker," Remilia said. "But I hope police officers here don't arrest people just for playing cards." She wasn't paying as much attention to the due as she was to the people at the bar. Their body language seemed a bit off for just some flirting. Perhaps someone there was a couple and they caught the other one cheating? Remilia discarded the idea because she was confident these two would know if the sickly man had a girlfriend, yet they seemed completely unfamiliar with the woman or the man. And then a woman's voice boomed through the bar so suddenly, violently, and distractingly that Remilia didn't even notice the new woman entering the bar.
Meanwhile, Katsuo's calm demeanor probably wasn't going to last long with how many things were going wrong almost simultaneously. First there was the yakuza offering to let him buy a ticket straight out of Japan. That was the least wrong thing going on, since he was ready to accept the offer. Second, there is the woman, Jun Li, who seemingly didn't like being out of the loop. A normal person would've figured out whatever they were talking about isn't something you want to know about, let alone get involved with. Hidden worlders are a really strange breed. And the biggest problem, Shi no Kaze was seething. Despite the sheath that limits her power, she was loud enough for the entire bar to hear her. Was the sealing power of the sheathe weakening? Or was Shi just that enraged by this woman?
Trying to stay composed and avoid a scene, Katsuo got up and grabbed his sword. "I am sorry, Miss Li, but this is not something you should get involved in." He turned to the green-haired man. "Perhaps it would be best if we continue this conversation somewhere else."

"Yeah, we're not cops! Guns aren't my thing either." Ash explained, having little experience with firearms in general. She remembered how Marika and the others went on a mission a while ago where most of them brought back fancy guns...but Ash mostly ignored those. Her attention was soon pulled away when she heard a new person walk into the bar. Ash mostly ignored her, having little need to pay attention to some random patron when they were at a table with Yakuza! Suddenly, Ash hears the shrieking cry of Shi from across the room and darts her attention toward the group. "...huh?" Was all she could ask to nobody in particular. "Is uh...this place haunted or something?" Ash asked the people at the table. What was going on here?
