Long ago in the depths of the Michigan forests lived small, secluded tribes of ancient werewolves. A terrifying, yet beautiful mixture of man and beast, the werewolves were both feared and revered among the many Native American tribes that shared the lands with them. One particular tribe, the Potawatomi, gained the favor of a werewolf tribe in appreciate for their respect of their lands and gradually the two began to work together. Side by side, the two tribes symbiotically assisted and coexisted until the system of modernization began to take hold of the Potawatomi regardless if they'd desired it.
War, divide, and the expanding colonization of America caused the Potawatomi to split and taper off as many were forced into the ways of the new western culture. The werewolf tribe watched with a hardening distrust for the Potawatomi as they forgot their once rich roots. Gradually, the leadership of the tribe changed as each chief led their long and prosperous lives while watching over remnants of the Potawatomi, but it wasn't until the death of Aria's father that she became a chieftain herself.
Aria, formed in the harsh, but rewarding ways of her clan, took hold of her late-father's position and held onto it with a steel grip. One of the tallest and strongest females of her clan, Aria demonstrated the sheer force of her power again and again as she fought with her fellow clan-members for her position that fell onto her shoulders. When she came to power, Aria quickly changed how things worked among her tribe and quickly advised all of her tribesmen to abandon their watch of the humans. Seeing them as no longer those of nature, she found herself quickly disgusted with their complete disregard for the past, regardless of whether or not a few of them still respected their heritage.
Aria now leads her tribe along the deep forest of Southern Michigan, outwardly avoiding contact with humans at all costs, but her focus on humans is causing a slow, but steady disrupt within the tribe. Many of Aria's tribe respect her position as Chief, but some don't feel she is fit to be ruling the way she is; at the same time, many still desire to communicate with humans as they had in their older times while others fiercely believe in Aria's decision. A clear divide is struck in her tribe and Aria is struggling to maintain balance while keeping her tribesmen protected, but even she can't control everything her fellow tribesmen do...

Personality
Aria is intimidating, to say the least. The massive woman rarely finds time to smile and mostly has a serious, brooding expression. Otherwise, Aria simply just looks serious and takes mostly everything seriously.
When around outsiders, Aria takes on a much colder and harsher approach, going to lengths to keep them as far away from her and her tribe as possible. She seems adamant to only speak her tribe's language and tends to look disgusted when she has to speak in any other tongue.
Truthfully, Aria doesn't purposely intend to be as gruff as she is, but she finds herself constantly brooding over the state of her tribe that is attempting to recover from the shambles it became when her beloved father died. Finding it hard to live up to the expectations of her people, Aria finds little time to rejoice or enjoy things like she once used to; others say that Aria's happiness and joy simply died with her father.
Fittingly enough, Aria only shows appropriate emotion when she is in her wolf form. Thinking through sheer instinct, her joys and anger are all taken to the extreme. The volatile structure of her feelings as a wolf makes for a hazardous situation, for her wrath is something the entire forest feels when she lashes out.

Appearance
Aria is much like a brick wall. Tall and solid, Aria stands with the cool confidence she believes her people need. Her dark grey hair is untamed and scruffy towards her back, ending midway-down her spine excluding the long hair she allows to grow in the front, which she turns into two long and decorated braids.
Aria's eyes are a vibrant, heated gold that are accented by the dark shade of her skin and the dusty red paint that creates the designs along her body and face.
The only clothes Aria wears are the pelts and furs of animals she's slain, similarly with any decoration on her person. Necklaces, ties, and hair decor are all things she's found within the wild; the feathers in her hair, the dyed-bone beads, the teeth and claw jewelry and the rawhide ties that hold her clothing together.
Her werewolf nature allows her to shapeshift into a wolf, but her form is slightly altered from other werewolves and lycanthropes. Resembling more of a much larger wolf, Aria's body tends to be a little longer and leaner than normal, but her muscles become much stronger and larger, visible even beneath the thin coat along her sides. Aria's hair transfers over slightly in this form, creating a dark grey mane that stretches around most of her neck and just barely across her back with her braids extending from the scruff of her neck. Beneath the dusty fur on her right shoulder is the symbol of her tribe's chief that is visible even through the downy fur atop it.

Powers and Abilities
Spear Mastery- Her weapon of choice since she was young was the spear and thanks to her strong upper body, it was a good one to pick up. Both mid range combat and long range combat are her specialty seeing as how her throw is a nasty one.
Tool Usage- Unlike her wolf form, Aria can actively and logically use tools. This includes her spear and many other forms of tools (i.e. fishing rods, building tools, other weapons)
Superior Strength/Speed/Endurance- Through a combination of her nature, upbringing, lifestyle, and attitude, Aria has capabilities far more refined than that of a human. Her strengths in these aren’t ludicrous, but significantly more than a human’s.
Enhanced Speed- Being larger makes her stride also larger and the power of her muscles behind each step allows her to be even faster than normal.
Heightened Senses- Everything is more crisp and clear sensory wise when Aria turns into her wolf form. She can hear the faintest of heartbeats, see the feathers of birds above, and smell her tribesmen from miles away.
Increased Resilience- Her body is pure muscle and thick, matted fur, making it hard for things to break into her body. Along with a blind rage, Aria can ignore pain and injury for the most part. She can take a pretty solid beating before feeling the effects of a battle.
Human
Huntsmanship- Living off the land since the day she was born, Aria learned the arts of hunting, gathering, and fishing. Her ability to track and kill is unparalleled among her tribesmen and even those most adverse to her can't deny her skill in the matter.Spear Mastery- Her weapon of choice since she was young was the spear and thanks to her strong upper body, it was a good one to pick up. Wolf
Superior Strength- Her large jaws and claws leave her a force to be reckoned with once she begins losing control. One bite is enough to easily take a chunk out of the nearest tree.Enhanced Speed- Being larger makes her stride also larger and the power of her muscles behind each step allows her to be even faster than normal.
