It doesn't get much colder than a Russian mountainside in December, so cold that even the two huge ogres sitting there had set up a roaring fire just outside the great door they guarded. Inside, there was a vast grey hall, the corpse of an even more vast ogre sitting in his throne resting at the very end. Outside, the wind and snow whipped around the grey guardians, all the way down the path that lead from the base of the mountain. At the top awaited the great hall of the ogres, just waiting for the fortune seekers contacted for this job, surprisingly via the Kuray tribe's web page.
An Asian woman in a padded robe and heavy boots struggled up the path, feeling the wind's bite through every layer of her clothing. She followed the directions given on the web posting, which never failed to surprise her with how well-organized and articulate it was. When she came to the top, she was struck by the sight of two grey titans. The ogres had massive eyes like an owls framing a short trunk like a tapir. "Ah, the first bounty hunter. Normally we would crush and eat you, but today you and your trouble making kind are necessary." One grumbled at her from under a heavy fur hood. "Um... thank you?" The young woman replied, backing out of reach of his club. "Ignore my comrade. You should settle in inside." The only instructed, and she gladly ran past with her heavy pack, kneeling to unload it and begin a nice fire. Her lips were turning blue and her stomach was growling.

Not far behind the Asian woman was a man in his late teens, dressed in a thick black coat and ski pants. His spiky brown hair poked out through the opening of his hood as he trudged through the snowy mountainside, occasionally breaking hot air into his gloved hands when they grew too cold. "This is such a drag...why did this job have to be in fuckin' Narnia?!" Sid yells out to nobody in particular. He soon reaches the top of the path, and notices he isn't the first person to arrive. There were two large ogres sitting around a roaring fire in the center, with a person dressed in a padded robe already walking inside. Trudging through the snow up to one of the ogres, Sid waves his right hand up at them. "So, we just head in there for the job, right?" He asks one of them, remembering the person already headed inside.

Callis hated the cold. He hated the feeling of the cold air hitting his face, not that it bother him, as resistance to harsh climates was another of the many advantage of what he took as a cursed body, but this wasn’t a physical problem. Truth to be told the Beast Knight, as his nickname implies, was a divided man, between instinct and duty back on his world. As such he didn’t have a single “home” but two, as much as he denied one of them. His hometown was Rigel, the Capital of the Kingdom of Via, he was born there, lived most of his youth there and was ordained as a Knight for the first time in the Royal Court. But his second homeland, in the freezing northern tundra was the Belua Empire, the homeland of the Saevus, the Beastmen.
The Beast Knight only visited his father’s homestead twice in all his life and he despised every second of it. He couldn’t understand the Saevus, and he couldn’t understand them, their points of view were completely different. Yet that was his opinion, his Saevus relatives would’ve loved to keep him around for ages and they would’ve never discriminated him for being different, the tragedy is that Callis never got that, too busy disliking the situation to notice. Now he was walking through another tundra in search of a place… maybe a place where he would die, or where his skills, the same he still resented, could be useful to stop others from dying. As his mind paced around these ideas his instinct shoot a warning through his spine, something was nearby, obscured by a blizzard.
A large silhouette in shadows… The Beast Knight didn’t doubt to raise his guard, but didn’t made a move… Whatever that was seemed too big to be human… or at least a normal human.
Goemon loved the snow, it reminded him of his days in the orphanage in New York after his parents died. In fact he just spent his holidays there and took an early flight for this mission. The Karate Star was quite fond of snow, thanks to his fond memories of the winters in the orphanage… hard but fun days. He made a promise to himself of always visiting it not only to share his joy with the children showing them that even from that humble beginning they can rise, but also to reaffirm his convictions as a warrior who doesn’t just seek power for power sake, but to protect others. That’s Goemon’s Path, different from his master, a mercenary who begrudgingly helped if there was money involved, and possibly it was different to the path his student might take.
The Karate Star wondered about Jose’s moral compass, he was good natured, but he tended to be quite ruthless in fights. He heard about how bad that Ninja he fought in Kyoto ended up. Hopefully this gig would be quiet and he would have enough time to properly gauge Jose’s training and heart. Even after showing great promise on the Mountain Slaying fist during the whole Mason situation Goemon still felt unsure of training Jose, at least to teach him the true secrets of the style. He admitted that he might have rushed to start training the Earth Shaker, but he was excited, this was the first time he had a Hidden World student. Maybe he should’ve tested Jose, like Ichigan tested him and like Reiji tested Ichigan. Or maybe he was over thinking it at least that thought crossed his mind as he felt another thing, a chill coursing his body, something was close.
It felt like a wild animal, maybe a mountain lion or something akin to it. Goemon lifted his arms in guard and charged in, happy to enjoy a warm up before getting to the location.
Goemon charged at Callis with a powerful spinning roundhouse, jumping with his bare feet over the snow twisting his enormous body mid air to unleash the kick. Callis replied in kind, but the agility of the Beast Knight, added to his inhuman reflexes allowed him to one-up Goemon jumping over the extended leg and using it as support for his hands, unleashing and equally destructive kick, more like a stomp than a roundhouse though. This wasn’t the Karate Star’s first rodeo fighting smaller more agile fighters and he was already prepared for such an attack, his guard covering Callis’ target, blocking the kick and grabbing the Beast Knight foot.
Goemon landed with his leg still up and Callis still hanging to it. For a moment of silence both fighters looked at each other, perplexed as the wind and snow roared around them, until the Karate Star broke the awkward silence with a thundering chuckle, which echoed in the tundra. Goemon fell flat on his ass laughing while Callis started to laugh softly, covering his face in a very courteous manner, the rules of protocol of the court still imprinted on his behavior, but unable to avoid getting infected by Goemon’s, pun intended, infectious laughter. Finally they both stopped laughing and Goemon stood up extending his hand to Callis
-Goemon Williams, from the Yatagarasu BHA… I suppose you’re here for the job as well- He scanned Callis from top to bottom. –You’re Callis Nomene, Right? The Drifer… Is so good to meet a fellow hunter.- The Beast Knight extended his hand that was clutched and roughly shaken by the Karate Star, almost strongly enough to lift Callis of the ground. The Errant Knight looked at his hand with a pained expression as Goemon released it. The Beast Knight bowed, still reminding his manners. –Good day to you Mes Williams, as you say I’m a Callis Nomene, also known as Regulus Austra- Callis stopped midway his introduction as Goemon was clearly not paying attention, looking to the his left (Callis’s right) That irked the Beast Knight a little but he erased that thought from his mind and decided to ask Goemon what was the matter.
-Excuse me Mes Williams, but I you would allow me the boldness to ask, what are you looking?- The Beast Knight tried to remain as well mannered as he could given the blizzard, but his courtly manners looked kind off ridiculous with his hair and cape flapping around in the wind. Goemon turned around and patted Callis on the back with enough force to send the Knight head first to the snow. –Look!- He said without realizing what he had done. –Can’t you feel a group of Ki in that direction?- The Beast Knight started to raise from the snow as he replied, while dusting off his cloak. –I cannot sense Ki, I do not even know how to unlock it.- Goemon clucked his tongue in disapproval several times as he turned to face Callis. –You can’t use Ki? I heard a lot about you in the HQ I thought you were….- The Karate Star finally noticed Callis on the floor, looking at him surprised.
-What’re you doing down there? If you were tired you could’ve told me I don’t mind carrying you.- Callis looked at the Massive Brawler with a scowl, sighed and shook his head as he got up. –Don’t mind that…- The Beast Knight pointed to the direction Goemon was looking before. –You said they are towards that direction, right?- Callis walked calmly over the snow, his footprints barely marking the surface of it, all thanks to his training and his body. Goemon followed him, each of his feet sinking a foot or even more into the snow, but he kept pushing forward as if he was walking on the sea rather than knee deep in snow. In a short time they reached the location. Callis was the first to talk –I’m here for the job, my name is Callis Nomene and I…- The Beast Knight stopped talking as his eyes got focused on Sid and in a completely out of character moment for him he asked, almost shouting. –You!? What the hell are you doing here!?- Goemon looked at Sid and waved happily. –Oh the kicking kid from Sakurajima… how’s life treating you kiddo?- Callis looked at Goemon with his eyes even larger and pointed at him. –Wait… you were in that island too?-

Walking inside a harsh blizzard is a new experience for Jose, and so far he is not a fan. Being use to extremely warm climates for most of his life, he is completely overwhelm by the intense freezing sensation, especially whenever the icy cold winds visit. HIs current attire consist of layers upon layers of clothing. From wearing serval pairs of wool socks and sweat pants, an undershirt, a sweater, a coat, and a heavy ski jacket. His clothes makes him appear more than twice as big as he would normally, and along with wearing a ski mask and a ski googles, he will be utterly unrecognizable to those with regular senses. Before he thought his assignment at Reiji's island would be the coldest place he would ever experience, but compare the weather here to Sakurajima Island and Sakurajima Island might as well be in the caribbean during the summer season. As he thinks back on his second coldest assignment, he couldn't help but to remember the fact that his current mentor is also going to work on this assignment. A small smiles appears behind his mask as he reflects on their first encounter with each other. When he took his previous assignment, he had hopes of becoming one of Reiji's students, if even for a short period of time, yet never would he guess that the mentor he has been searching for would end up being Goemon when he first saw him. Yet, after training with the man, learning from his wisdom and experience, and the overall time they have spend together, Jose could not see himself with a different master.
Stopping for a moment, he wipes his goggles clean of snow and peers upwards in order to study the mountain top. He could have easily gotten to his destination without having to deal with the cold winds if he travels thought the earth itself, but he didn't want to risk disrespecting the Ogres, or worse, somehow appear as a threat due to some misunderstanding. So, he decided to simply enter by the same method as everyone else. His returns his gaze back to a natural eye level and prepares to travel, but after a few steps his legs once again pause in the snow. A few meters in front of him is a man wearing what appears to be a white business coat and grey khakis, who is just staring at the Mountain top. How can someone be outside like this with only that on? Walking forward he taps the man on the shoulder, and the stranger responds by turning his head around to face Jose. Once the young bounty hunter sees the man's face, he couldn't help but to take a step back. With a creepy smile, the man blinks his eyes, with each eye closing and opening at a different pace. "Why, Hello There." said the man with the voice that could rival a demon's.
"Who are you?" Even with the mask covering his mouth and the blizzard raging around them, his voice reaches the man easy enough. "Perhaps an ally." response the gruesome looking fellow. "Give me a name." warns the Earth Shaker. "Jose Hernandez, I believe is yours." Saying his name so casually raises a few flags. The next question he asks is in a much more calm tone, "Are you a bounty hunter like myself, or part of another organization that belongs to the IHWA." Yet, rather than receive a quick answer, he waits for the man for what feels like eternity. Perhaps this silent period would cause someone to experience a combination of slight anxiety and frustration, but this grotesque being is dealing with a rather patient individual. The unknown's disproportional eyes study him for a solid minute before his lips and tongue work together to say, "I am a hunter that belongs to no group or person." Looking at the man, he couldn't help but feel that behind the layers of his insane appearance, there exists a dangerous intellect. "Why are you here?"
He points to the mountain, which reveals one of his uniquely complex gloves. "And what do you intend to do?" Asked with his eyes glue on the glove as he anticipates a threat. Instead, the man replies with a simple phrase, "The same as you." Without exchanging another word, both men make their way up to the entrance of the ogres. Jose looks at the scene before him and recognizes a few familiar faces. He offers a slight bow to Goemon, which he found to be somewhat difficult with his current wear. "I'm glad to see you in good spirits." After that he looks towards Callis and offers a friendly head nod and he prepares to say a few words to the his fellow bounty hunter. "Its good to see you ag-" he stops himself when notice something is wrong. "What is it Callis?" Meanwhile, the man who accompany the earth shaker up the mountains remains motionless as he studies everyone around him, yet it seems his main focus is on the two ogres in the front.

The ogres looked at their hired muscle with their circular eyes. "They are all here it appears." "Yes. Jun, return." The Asian woman peeked out from the great hall. "We need to make sure you all understand the terms. You will watch Chief Watargza's body for six days. Any harm that comes to him will result in docking your pay. This should be an easy paycheck for you scoundrels, and there's even food and supplies for the week stored in the pantry of the great hall. Are there any questions?" One ogre explained the situation and gave an impatient look to the crowd, hoping there weren't too many questions.

Not paying attention to the ki signatures around him, Sid didn't notice Callis approaching until the beast knight was part-way through saying his name to the ogre guards. The kickmaster debated if he should just book it now, or perhaps clock Callis in the back of the head to get him out of the way and not be arrested...but he figured it was too much work. Instead, he listened to Callis shout at him in surprise, something that Sid didn't think the honorable knight he fought earlier was capable of. Before addressing Callis, Sid gave a thumbs up to Goemon. "I'm doing alright, been doing Inazuma shit and doing stuff like this for money. How ya been, dude?" He asks Goemon. Turning back to Callis, Sid merely shrugs his shoulders. "Same reason you are, I'd say. Don't tell me you still want to arrest me, because that'd be a real drag dude. Kicking ya down this mountain, I mean." Sid needed the money this job provided, and wasn't too keen on going to jail.
Nodding as the ogres state the job requirements, Sid stays silent, not having any questions to ask. A full six days of just lazing around, watching a body rot. Could this job be any easier?

-Yeah I really enjoyed these holidays.- Goemon started explaining but he was cut by Callis shouting at Sid and the posterior argument that ensued.
Callis walked towards Sid, his boots crunching the snow that was softened by the bonfire heat. –You do not have an idea of the evil you released to the world…- He glared at Goemon. –You two, among others, unleashed on this world…- The Beast Knight eyes focused again on Sid, burning with rage fighting to get out the cage built by discipline Callis made for it. –I lack the authority to apprehend you… both of you… but I have the choice of not collaborating with either of you.- Callis turned around, quite dramatically, with his cloak waving behind him and started walking away from the campfire. Goemon who was greeting Jose quickly stepped in front of the Beast Knight stopping him from leaving. –C’mon man, we were only trying to help a guy in need, what’s the point of the law if you can’t help the little guy?-
The Beast Knight frowned, his brow plagued with wrinkles as his blue eyes, faintly lit by the bonfire were piercing through Goemon’s skull, like daggers. –You clearly cannot understand how civilized people live, laws and rules are what separate us from beasts.- Callis didn’t like Goemon, he reminded him too much of his paternal family… he was just like a full blooded Saevus, too impulsive, brash and chaotic, acting from gut instinct rather than proper thought. The Beast Knight tried to move past the Karate Star, who blocked him once again. –C’mon, don’t get upset, you already got here and we could use all the help we could use… you’re a Bounty Hunter aren’t you?- Goemon gesticulated as he spoke. –If you storm off right now you are smearing our organization good name on the mud.- That hit Callis hard, but he quickly recovered from that verbal blow.
–That maybe right, but working alongside you and that man over there.- He pointed at Sid. –Would be smearing in the mud the lives of those who died because of your collective carelessness.- Once again he tried to move past Goemon, even feinting to the side, yet the Mountain Slaying Practitioner blocked him again. This time around he looked at Jose for help, stretching towards him and covering his mouth to talk in a whisper directed to his apprentice he said. –C’mon Hernandez-kun, you fought alongside this guy, right? Help me out here, we could really need his help… but don’t mention Sakurajima, or he will get pissed.- Hopefully the bonds of camaraderie of Jose and Callis after their ordeal in Kyoto would be enough to keep the Beast Knight from leaving.

Nodding to his mentor, Jose removes a few articles of clothing from his head, so he could look right into Callis' eyes when he says, "I'm not decent with words, but I do speak the truth. And if your familiar with the saying: 'Two wrongs don't make a right', then I think you already know what I am about to tell you...A wrongful act towards someone, does not pardon that person from doing wrong. And the Callis I know will not willing do anything wrong for he is a true man of chivalry." He pauses for a few more seconds to let his words sink in as he finishes by saying, "Besides, I'm sure the chances of someone leaving here in a body bag will decrease like crazy if you stick around, but if you still wish to leave, go ahead. I won't stop you. I will simply become a liar if you do."
By the entrance, Alex slowly steps around everyone while sticking close to the walls and shadows. He finally settles his back against a wall, once he finds himself in a nearly perfect viewpoint to see everyone. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a ziplock bag, which contains a peanut butter sandwich. He gently opens the ziplock bag and reaches down to retrieve his snack as quickly as a snail could ran. Once his gloves touches the soft wheat bread, the edge of his tongue leisurely swipes across the bottom of his lips. Pulling out the sandwich, he examines the random tiny holes of the bread as well as the affects of gravity on the peanut butter slowly stretching downwards by the crust. Smiling to himself, he raises his creation to his mouth and prepares to consume half of it in single bite.

The ogres exchanged a worried glance. "Will this be a problem?" They observed Callis' disdain of the others. "Perhaps. But it is a simple grave robber. Some infighting will not decrease them as a deterrent." "However, we were required to have 6 guardians at least. If the golden man leaves, call the understudy." They looked up from their conversation. "If one of you causes trouble, you can be replaced in an instant. We have another hunter on the wings. So if you're going to leave, inform us now. If not, introduce yourself to the others and play nice."
Jun went out from the building and nodded to Sid and Goemon, offering them a warm smile. "Hello. I am Jun Li. Come inside, it's warmer. I'm cooking something already." She gestured towards the massive stone doors. "The others can join us when they're done working out these... issues." She seemed uncomfortable with the conflict, like she wanted to step in but didn't know how. It was a familiar feeling.

Sid was about to speak up and help Goemon convince Callis to stay...but it appeared as if Jose had their backs and talked Callis down for them. That's right...Goemon was this dude's teacher, so he can order him around all he wants! Placing his hands behind his head, Sid casually begins to stroll over to the inside of the building, content with the knowledge that at least two other people could back him up if Callis tried to pull anything during this little vacation. Giving a small smile to Jun, Sid takes a sniff of the air in the room. "Nice to meet'cha, Jun. I'm Sid. What are ya preparing in here?" While he wasn't as dependent on free food as he was a few years ago, Sid was never a man to pass up a free meal.
During this time, Sid paid no eye contact to Callis, wanting to avoid any kind of fight that might end with those ogres jumping into the fray. Though to be cautious, Sid was subtly reading the ki signatures of everyone in the area, just to make sure none of them were going to be snuck up on while they were making food.

With angry eyes Callis at Jose as the later spoke, his expression softened a great deal after the Earth Shaker called him a true man of chivalry and continued to soften the more Jose kept talking. Finally we he stopped the Beast Knight was almost stunned by the weight of these words, at least for him, since Jose was basically trusting Callis and to the Errant Knight being trusted was the greatest honor, coming from a world where no matter how much he did for others he was hated for his heritage being trusted was like a treasure for him.
That stunned moment was also prolonged by a thought hidden deep in the Knight’s mind… maybe he died in Centris and this was some sort of place that rewarded his efforts in life beyond the veil of death… but that notion was quickly erased when he dismissed for being so stupid, he was taught that everything goes back to the Flux of Magic in the World rather than some sort of fabled afterlife. He slowly, almost mechanically glanced at Sid and Jun behind him, Goemon to his side and finally back to Jack and then sighed, lowering his head.
-I w… d. i.- He said almost inaudible at first and then he repeated it while rising his head with determination on his eyes. –I will do it… I will stay…- He gave a quick glance at Sid who was entering the hut. - But the moment I discover something heinous happening I will smite the felon with all my might.- With that said he turned away and walked towards the bonfire to heat his hands. Goemon smiled and gave a silent “thumbs up” to his student, then proceeding to pat his shoulder with, without knowing, great force.

No matter how many times he receives it, his body has failed to develop a resistance to a Goemon pat. Stumbling a bit due to a combination of surprise and force, mostly force, he turns to face his mentor, but rather than give one of his typical frowns for overdoing it again, he instead offers a subtle nod. Standing upright, he looks ahead at the scene inside. The idea of eating a warm meal pleases his stomach. Without delay, he takes a few steps, only stopping momentarily to offer a gesture to his mentor to join him inside. He hopes that during this time together they can discuss about the past few days, as he is curious about his master's recent activities, but at the same time, he wants to inform Goemon about the progress of his training. Jose wishes he can start training at a higher level soon, but he will never demand it. He already knew that an important part behind building, especially if one seeks to create greatness, is the very first step, the foundation. The ones who rush tends to make mistakes, and their foundations ends up lacking due to their impatience. Thus the rest of the structure's potential is handicapped by the foundation. After his mission in Kyoto, he is determine to avoid making that mistake himself. He plans to take his time in order to ensure that his foundation will be strong enough to support the man he dreams of being someday.
Meanwhile, Alex listens and pays close attention to all the words being spoken, but the ones that the ogres used are the ones he continues to repeat over and over again in his mind. Six is a pretty specific number. He quickly finishes his light snack and proceeds to follow the others inside from a considerable distance away from them as he wishes to keep his eyes on everyone, while he continues to makes no attempt to talk to anyone....at least for now. His presence and current actions will most likely appear creepy and potentially even suspicious to the others, but he doesn't mind that kind of reaction.

Satisfied with the results, the ogres turned and walked down the mountain, leaving nothing but 6-toed footprints that swiftly filled with snow. Indoors was filled with the scent of roasting birds with some unknown spice on them. The plucked bodies lay over a roaring fire tended by Jun, who invited the others to sit on the oversized pads around the flames. "So, does everybody want to introduce themselves while I finish dinner?" Jun gave everybody a warm smile, even with how her eyes wandered.

Since everyone else seemed to be in their own little worlds, Sid shrugged and began to answer the question. "Sure, why not. Name's Sid Renen, and I kick a lot of ass...literally." Sid bends his knees upward to show the heavy black boots he was wearing, being the primary means of his attack. "I need the cash, so...ya. How about you dudes?" He glances over at everyone else, curious to see why they were here. It's so strange to have so many people that were at the incident in Sakurajima here today...was this some sort of setup? Or were they just part of the few people willing to take this kind of work these days?

Callis, who was warming his hands on the fire, took a step back and with a courteous bow he introduced himself. –My name is Callis Nomene, Knight of the Kingdom of Via and the Eques Orbis of Morbis, also known as Regulus Australis, currently working for the Bounty Hunter Association.- He finished his bow, without mentioning the branch as he that level of pronunciation escaped the confines of his translation spell. –I am proficient with a blade and close combat in general. Yet I think we can avoid any useless struggle if we are open to dialogue with whoever might attack this place, maybe we can convince them to leave.- He then returned to sit down near the fire after introducing himself.
Goemon took the chance and with a very informal wave of his hand, still sitting on the floor (and even so he was tall enough to be seen by everybody), -Hello! I’m Goemon Williams, Karate Master, member of the Yatagarasu BHA and you might know me from movies like “Hellkicker 2: Hellheel”, “Saturday Night Brawl” and “The Good, the Bad and the Karate Master”- The hulking martial artist smile shined even brighter under the light of the bonfire. –I’m a Martial Arts Master and I know to take a beating, so if we need to fight just point me in the right direction and… I will raise Hell… hehe.- Goemon started laughing and when he finally calmed down he explained. –Sorry, I used one of the one-liners from Hellkicker… It happens.-

After waiting for the others to go first, Jose stares at the man by the wall to give his name, but he doesn't seem to be in the mood to speak. Without taking his eyes off the man, he says, "The name is Jose Hernandez, but I'm pretty sure almost everyone here already knew that." He takes a moment before continuing, "I hope we can all get along." The man by the wall seems to smile at these words. Removing his eyes off the man, he looks at the others. Looking at each one of them, he could tell that they are quite capable, but he couldn't help but feel worried about the imminent future. Well sitting in a relax position, he begins to channel his Ki into the earth around them in preparation. "Those of you that can sense Ki, fear not. I'm simply increasing my connection to our surrounding while reinforcing the materials that I will most likely be using to help guard the ogre king's body."

Jun found her eyes creeping over to the eerie old man in the corner as she greeted the others. What was his deal? "Thank you, Jose. With that, I think we've blocked any way the robber could get in, if they bother to show up. There wasn't a door in the kitchen." Finally warm, she undid her robe and set it aside. Underneath, she wore thick black clothing that covered her neck to ankle, with full sleeves and long pants. After checking on the fire again, she picked her robe up and set it by the door. "Dinner will be done in about half an hour." She sat back with the group and gave a sheepish look. "So... what do you plan on doing? We're together for the next six days. I don't really have much experience with group work..." She trailed off, displaying a mix of unreadable emotions.

Listening to everyone else give their introductions, Sid lowered his right eyebrow slightly when Callis said where he was from. Knight of the Kingdom of Via and the Eques Orbis of Morbis? There wasn't any place like that on Earth that Sid knew of...eh, he'll worry about that later. Maybe. Another odd thing that Sid noticed that the creepy guy near the wall never introduced himself, which was suspicious in a situation where everyone else had. Was he going to try and rob the place when everyone was asleep? Snapping out of his train of thought, Sid looked back at Jun. "I dunno, probably read a book or somethin'. Any of you dudes happen to bring a TV?" Sid wasn't that great at reading someone's unease, so he didn't notice Jun trailing off.

-We could stay sitting idly, or we could do exercise to stay prepared for any eventuality.- Callis walked away from the group, finding a empty space and started doing stretches and light exercise to prepare his muscles. Truly he barely needed that, as his body was constantly ready for combat, but the Beast Knight hated to be idle, waiting for something he didn’t exactly know about, as the job description was quite vague. He made a mental note to ask the employers, when they returned, for more information about the job at hand, he lost his chance be too scandalized by meeting Sid and dealing with working with him instead of going directly for his throat as the Beast inside him clamored him to do.
Goemon stood up and walked towards Jose. –Hernandez-kun…- His tone was serious, almost solemn, his face half covered by the shadows of the bonfire as his back was facing the light. For an instant a strange pressure surged from the Karate Star, not Ki or killer intent, but something else. Goemon placed his hand inside his Gi, through the chest opening and searched for something on a pocket sewn inside. With almost ominous slowness he retracted his hand and finally he suddenly crouched and a set of papers appeared on the Hulking Martial Artist hands. –Do you want to see the photos from my holidays?- He asked with a large dumb and childish smile, his eyes sparkling with emotion as his hands were full of photographs of him with the orphans and the nuns who raised him in the past and them in the present.

Jose's face seems to look emotionless as he says, "Sure." Even with his face showing no feelings whatsoever, he did enjoy looking at the photographs. He himself would love to one day be able to go back to his hometown and help the children there, but he still has a few things he has to take care of before that day. After looking at so many children and nuns he finally comments, "You have a really big family." Taking a moment, he begins to think if he should try to sway his mentor's focus on his training, so he asks, "Do you teach them martial arts?" He always wonder why Goemon seems to be such a natural when it comes to being a teacher. Perhaps he practice the skill with the kids. Again, the older looking gentlemen seems to keep to himself and remain perfectly quite as he watching the others. Though at the moment he tends to look at the beast knight more than the others.
