Marceline just grew grouchier when Chase ignored her. She hugged herself and put her chin on the table in an attempt to retain warmth, giving Chase a steady stare. This was her choice and she would deal with it. Ron turned slightly to face Chase. "Huntsman rescued me. I had just escaped from Ironside for the first time, and he had agents trying to bring me back. Huntsman fought them off." He gave Huntsman a doting grin so loving that Huntsman would have blushed if that was something he did. "Yeah, that's pretty much it. I said something about his goggles and-" "DON'T MENTION THOSE YOU FUCKING MORON!" Huntsman ducked in his seat like he thought it would save him to get further away from Ron's roaring face. Many in the restaurants looked at the sudden noise with a range of emotions. Marceline's own was pissed, but she just scooted further away. At least it was Huntsman getting yelled at. That actually made this fun.

Chase didn't move a muscle in his face as Ron yelled, he had a feeling that it was coming. He just wanted to avoid himself being the target, but now everyone was looking back at them. Chase didn't enjoy having so many people stare at him like this. He found it annoying and was making him a have the slight urge to leave the restaurant if they didn't stop looking at them, but he remains in his sit without showing off his discomfort. Hoping that the people will avert their eyes soon enough and he can go back to drinking in peace. As he hides he annoyance with the strangers looking at him, he continues to says, "So... you guys have known each other for a while I take it then." Shortly after his last comment, Chase drinks down his 10th bottle.

Ron took deep breaths, pushing the rage back down with tears in his eyes. The explosion withdrew, leaving only the crater. Huntsman was looking at him with hurt in his eyes, everybody was staring, and Ron was quickly becoming grouchy again. "Well, we met two years ago..." Huntsman looked supremely uncomfortable. "We haven't seen each other for almost as long. I got recaptured by Ironside." Ron's interruption made it clear Huntsman wasn't to continue. Marceline went back to hugging herself and curling smaller for warmth. It was hopeless of course, merely an instinct. She had no body heat to preserve. It was way too cold in here.

"So how did you escape from Ironside the second time?" asked Chase. He was actually getting invested into learning about Ron's story the more and more he spoke. Rather interesting fellow... Looking towards the Huntsman he asks him, "Did you have something to do with his second escape?" Then Chase notices Marceline's odd behavior and asks, "Is something the wrong?"At this point, Chase realizes that he has taken another sip in the past 10 seconds. He grabs another bottle and begins to drinking it down in one shot as if he was drinking a sip of water. He starts to wish that he had gotten something stronger than wine.

Ron hesitated for a second, but Huntsman looked interested, so he shrugged and gave his story. "I never bowed to Ironside's will, and it finally earned me death. As I was being taken away to be taken apart, another experiment raised a ruckus. They call him Snake Eyes, and he's a bit off his rocker, but I owe him my life. He got me free and I was able to fly out. I don't know what happened to him." He looked sorrowful at this, but changed his face when Marceline spoke up in response to Chase. "Yeah, it's fucking freezing in here." Having no body heat of their own, it was easy for a doll to get cold. Even a coat would do her little good. To her surprise (and revulsion), Ron pulled her to his side. "Here, just sit closer to me until the warm food gets here. I'd offer you my coat, but you don't have any body heat, do you?" Huntsman glared at Ron for showing such kindness, leaning forward with daggers in his mouth.

Chase didn't mind Ron trying to provide warmth to Marceline so much as the daggers coming from the Huntsman's mouth. He look at the Huntsman with a stern look. As if telling his pal to back off with the daggers. "Well, I would use my flames to warm you up, but I don't think that people would appreciate sudden flames appearing out of no where." Chase actually smiles at the idea as he sees that idea as a good way to get people out of the small restaurant. Next, he turns to Ron. He could see that Marceline didn't appreciate his gesture, yet Chase wasn't going to say anything. After all, she was strong enough to take care of herself. "Snake Eyes huh... interesting name. Did he help anyone else escape?" asked Chase.

Marceline grouchily shrunk, but Ron's warmth was nice. She let him hug her to his side as he shook his head. "I don't even know if he escaped himself. He might have died right after I flew off." Across from him, Huntsman withdrew his fangs a little and sat back. He didn't want to ruin this night with his rivalry. He'd have plenty of chances to ruin her later. The waiter once again showed up with a tray crowded with food, beginning to hand it out. All three who received it immediately dove in like there was a competition to finish first, Ron in particular seeming intent on outpacing Huntsman.

Chase watches the others go at their food like wild animals. Sitting back in his chair he continues to drink his wine. As he finishes his 20th bottle, he looks at Marceline and begins to wonder why she is eating as she has been starving for the past weeks. Looking at the Huntsman and Ron, he could see how their behavior was just their normal eating habits, but Marceline was a surprise for him. "Hey Marceline... What happened to you after the HWIC took you in?" he asked. Chase put down his current bottle and gave Marceline his full attention. Since he left Haruko's house, he figured that Aria and her organization was going to take care of her and her sister.

Marceline paused with her forkful of spaghetti just below her open mouth. "Well, they freed us from Marika's control and... that's it. We got let go and I moved into some crap place with my sister. I've tried to get a real job, but I'm not good at anything, so I... well, you know what I've been doing. The good news is, I can't afford to do drugs." She grimaced and stared at her plate. She might have to reveal her plan a little sooner than she wanted.

Chase looks at Marceline and remains silent for a bit. He remembered before working with Smith about his own finical situation. Heck, it was so bad that he sold a certain asset of his to a particular bank in order to earn enough cash to cover the cost if his drinks. Chase didn't judge Marceline and simple says, "Is there really no work you can find to do in the hidden world?" Turning to the Huntsman, Chase was about to suggest that Marceline joins Wild Hunt, but considering that Huntsman is a member, he can imagine that nothing good might come from her joining Eve's organization. "I'm sure you will figure something out." he finally said.

Marceline shook her head. "I have a sixth grade education inherited from the spider bitch and haven't learned any skills since then. Funny that you mention figuring something out, cause I do have a plan." Beside her, Ron and Huntsman finished practically simultaneously. Huntsman was finally seeming to look at Ron with renewed interest. "I forgot how similar you were to me in appetite." Huntsman grinned. Too bad he normally couldn't just buy this much food. Ron smiled back. "What can I say? We're a perfect pair?" Huntsman believed it when Huntsman kissed him over the table. "There's more where that came from later." Came the promise in his ear.

Chase was not bothered by the Huntsman and Ron's affections for each other. Besides, he was too focused on Marceline anyways to really care about what the other couple at the table are doing. "Well, I would try to offer a solution if you needed one, but I'm glad that you were able to figured it out on your own." he said as a way to reference Marceline's refusal towards his first offer to assist her situation as well as the fact the he didn't mind Marceline trying to solve her problems on her own if that was what she wants to do. "So what your plan?" asked Chase.

Marceline winced at the assertion that she was solving her problems herself. It might just be time, but she didn't want to tell Chase in front of the one who would mock her, spit on her, call her a whore. "I'll tell you my plan when we get out of here." Huntsman grinned broadly at Ron's whisper. "So I finally get to see what you actually have." He whispered back in a joking term. Ron didn't find it funny. The rant didn't seem to end. It only died when a waiter came to their table and handed Chase the check. "Sir, I have to ask your party to leave as soon as possible." Ron collapsed back into embarrassment, but Huntsman didn't seem so ready to forgive this time. He glared at the wall, ignoring Ron even as he began to speak sweet words again. Marceline was clearly ready to go as well. This table had become intolerable.

Chase didn't want to waste the bottles of wine, so he quickly drinks the remains bottles in under a minute. After he finishes, he places a one of a kind card inside the check and offers it back to the waiter. After a few minutes, the waiter comes back and returns the card to Chase. "Alright then. Everyone ready to get out of her now?" he asked as he gets up and prepares to leave. Having finishing 200 bottles in quick succession, he was going to need to walk it off a bit. It wasn't so much the alcohol that was somewhat bothering Chase's body as much as the amount of liquid that was now inside of him. Looking back at the table, Chase begins to wonder if they were all going to leave and go somewhere together, or are they splitting off on their own now? Either way he shrugs, he didn't care so much, especially after drinking so much wine, he was in a good enough mood for either option. Now, this was not because Chase is drunk or buzz, but rather drinking so much wine actually makes him happy in of itself, as oppose to the affects of alcohol.

Huntsman, Ron, and Marceline shuffled out of the booth. Huntsman and Ron moved for the door. Marceline reached her hand for Chase's, but withdrew before they made contact. "Chase, I want you to take me to your home. Please?" She'd tell him there. It would be easier to talk about alone.
At the door, Huntsman was veering away from the building when Ron grabbed his shoulder. "Huntsman, where I you going? We can walk in the park." Huntsman looked at his sweet smile and and loving eyes, but could only see the demon beneath. "Sorry Ron. I'm going. It won't work out between us, and even I can see it. And I seem to recall that I'm a moron." Ron's face twisted once more. "Don't you dare walk out on me! Who the hell else would ever love you!?" Huntsman snarled, teeth deadly, and Ron suddenly realized just how small he was. "Ron, if I didn't have that little bit of affection for you from the you I remember, I would kill you right here and now. Goodbye. Don't call me." He turned and flicked his coat into a set of mighty wings. "Huntsman, wait!" Huntsman didn't, reaching into his chest for a teleportation scroll. "Huntsman, if you take me with you... I can..." Ron hugged onto Huntsman, pressing tight.
Huntsman felt Ron's body beneath the baggy coat he wore. So tiny and slim, but every inch hard with lean muscle. All but the softness of his chest, the part he hated. "This... this isn't going to change my mind." Huntsman completely lost coherence. And he had this all figured out a moment before... Ron moved around to put his head on Huntsman's chest. "We'll see about that." Huntsman took in his scent and practically purred. The scroll fell open and they were gone in a flash of light.

Chase didn't care to find out what was going to happen to Huntsman and Ron. Looking over Marceline, Chase begins to debate with himself if he should bring Marceline over to his apartment in the city. He figure she wasn't someone who would care to see a few layers of bottles. "Sure why not. I just hope you don't mind cats." said Chase after a few seconds of thinking it over. Chase grabs a waiter's attention and gets him to pack up all the left overs for Chase take it with him. As he walks out of the restaurant, he asks Marceline, "So, did you enjoyed dinner?"

Marceline nodded and once again her fingers danced towards his and once again didn't reach them. She decided she wouldn't keep trying. That wasn't her role. "It was great. And I have enough for Cosmina. I'll give it to her whenever I get home." She glanced around when they got outside. "So... where is your place?"

"Just this way" replied Chase. They walked together for a short while and Chase remains silent for a while before they finally arrive to his apartment complex. "Here it is." Chase gestures for Marceline to come inside with him and they take the elevators to his floor. Surprising, it was only the two of them in the elevator. Once they arrive on Chase's floor, the two of them walk into the hall, and he guides her to his door, where he uses his room key and the door unlocks. "Well, welcome to mi casa." As soon as they step in, Marceline was going to notice the world's greatest bottle collection as well as a cute and approachable cat waiting on the couch.
"Here. How about you sit on the couch with Creon." suggests Chase to Marceline. "And in the meantime, i'll try to get this place cleanup a bit." Chase wasn't cleaning up so much out of embarrassment by the bottles, or trying to fix the room for Marceline. Rather, he wanted to make sure that there was no glass on the floor so his cat could walk around in a little while and he didn't have to worry about the cat making its way through a glass mine field.

Marceline glanced around at the mountains of glass. If Chase was actually effected by alcohol, he was a bigger junkie than she could imagine. She looked for a place to put the box of spaghetti, eventually shrugging and setting on the couch. She didn't sit or bother trying to pet the cat. Cats didn't like her. Or dogs. And usually not people. Except Chase. No more lies. He didn't deserve them. "Chase, I think you know why I came here." She carefully wrapped her arms around him, feeling his warmth and hardness from behind. She felt the stirring in her body for him, the lust she now knew was only that.

Chase slowly stops putting glass bottles in a trash can and he keeps his eyes straight at the ground as Marceline as her arms wrap around him. Chase's cat turns his head to the side and looks at the stranger wrapping her arms around its owner. Creon has a couple of quite meows and performs a few circles before sitting back down on the couch. Chase finally asks without turning his head, "And what do I know?" he asked in a soft and smooth voice. Chase was able to read people's personalities and could usually determine their intentions, yet Marceline was acting in a way that took him by surprise in some sense. Chase could tell that she wanted or perhaps even needed something from him. Suddenly the mark on his arm begin to glow slightly for a quick moment before fading away back to its original color.
