With the other groups going their own way, Elyssa moved toward the closest cell block and jumped up onto a nearby stone covered in moss to peer through the bars. She saw a large rat that was twice the size of the ones in the harbor, with a large brass arm that seemed to rattle as he passed by. The walls were lined with small stone cell blocks that had a strange blue-tinted field around them.
The stone of the hallway was salt-worn and rugged, spotted with thousands of holes of various sizes. Living lichens clung to some of the more inaccessible spots, hairy curtains of plant matter like spiderwebs in the corners. Elyssa peered through the bars and took note of the giant rat patrolling the hallways. “Ooooo, he looks fun.” Elyssa said, smiling as she studied the brass arm.
Seeing that the bars were relatively loose, Elyssa wiggled one just enough for it to fall out of place, and teleported it from her left to right hand, dropping it off into a bush below. This left her with enough room for her to swing her head through and shimmy her way through the bars, popping her torso out first and wiggling to fit her lower half through, plopping down onto the floor below and adjusting her shorts back up.
The rat currently had his back turned to her, so Elyssa ducked behind a nearby crate that had been emptied out and took note of everyone that was in the prison cells. She took note of two people: a wispy man that was nearly see-through, his long white hair flowing behind his head. He wore a ghostly black coat over his brown pants, seemingly staring off into space. In a cell directly to his left was a figure hunched over, wrapped up in a faded blanket that covered their face. But one thing was strange: only one lump seemed to be where their legs were supposed to stick out from.
---
Love would see a similar scene in her own section, though the forcefield was a yellow color this time. When they squeezed through the bars, they would find themselves near a stash grain that was being kept inside piles of bags on the ground. They would soon hear a shuffling sound, followed by a rat with two long metallic legs, each with a little point at the end that seemed to give when he slid forward. His face was missing several patches of hair, revealing a deep brown cracked skin underneath. On his side jangled a set of brass keys that seemed to fit with the cell doors.
Coiled up in one of the nearby cells was a serpentine figure, wearing only a long cloak tied under its chin. It was propped up on its front arms, long and surprisingly ripped. Its cold eyes stared out into the hallway, watching the rat’s movement with gleaming malice.
On the other side sat another rat person, this one with a large scar across their eyes. They wore a long blue coat and grey pants, with four empty pistol holsters at their sides. They seemed to yell something at the guard, but the force field silenced any sound that might have come out.
---
Ariana and Yui haven't decided to walk into the prison yet, but only peer through it. However, Ariana’s lack of caring about stealth did make one guard on the 2nd floor spot her flying around and charge to the window. “OI!” He called out, gravely voice cutting through the air. He had a flintlock pistol trained right between the bars, aimed directly at the gem girl. “You’se stupid? Off limits! Git before I blow yer brains out!” He yelled at her.
Yui found less resistance on the first floor, not able to see the cells yet but able to spot the sleeping guard at the far end, a strange metal chestplate adorning his torso. The bars appeared weak enough to jiggle, but any loud noise would surely wake the guard.

Yui's eyes widened upon seeing Ariana getting caught so quickly
"Oh that's bad! Is she an airhead?! gotta hurry before i get caught as well!"-She said as she took out one of the bars and squeezed herself in.
the first thing she came in contact with was another giant rat. Her skin crawled as she got closer to it. either way, it would be easier to search for keys or anything if she knocked it out.
With relative ease, Yui readied an axe kick and put her ki behind it, she lowered the kick and smashed it against the rat, sending it from dreamland into knock out world. Yui wiped her foot against the floor
"Ewwww!!!"-she couldn't help but cringe, with another kick, she turned the rat around, hopefully this one would have a master key of sorts, that way she wouldn't have to deal with every single rat she came across.

Love hid behind the bags before the peglegged rat got to them and put their bodies back to normal. So this was definitely a prison of some sort. It contained both rat criminals and some other species. The cell themselves had forcefields that made Love wonder if they were more technologically advanced than it seemed at first glance or if it was simply magic. Either answer meant there were gonna meet bigger problems down the line. But that would have to come later.
She turned and whispered to Kasumi. "Think you can knock him out stealthily? We might need his keys to get out of here." She of course had no intention of releasing the captives. They looked dangerous and if they were considered criminals by rat people that themselves seemed like hardened criminals, letting them out would only spell disaster. It's not like they could even provide a distraction, not that they needed one while they were still well hidden.

Ariana realized a little late that maybe she should have been more careful approaching the building. Stealth wasn’t her forte though, while thinking on her feet was. “I’m sorry, I couldn’t find the front door! I’m here for a job! It seems you need some strong people here to keep the prisoners in line, and I’m really strong!” She flexed, showing off her biceps to the rat guard.
Getting shapeshifted felt weird. It wasn’t painful, but it was still bizarre-feeling to have her body shift around inside. She crouched with Love, peeking out to scan the environment. “I’ve got this. Stay here.” Kasumi slipped around the boxes, following the rat guard’s path. The only sign of her approach would be a sudden drop in the temperature as she raised her hands, one for the rat’s face and the other lower, striking at his waist. She sought to freeze his mouth shut and lock his legs in place, making it easy to take the keys and preventing him from raising an alarm.

"Alright, what to do about you..." Elyssa mused, looking at the hulk of a rat before her. She didn't know where the vital spots on a rat person were, and it probably wasn't wise to try and hit the ones that humans would have. Creeping up as quietly as possible(point used), Elyssa reached out and grabbed the keys, the heavy brass jingling as they were teleported onto a belt loop on Elyssa's shorts(roll 3). The guard perked up and looked around.
"Wha'sat?" He asked looking behind. Elyssa was given enough notice to sidestep behind the hulking rat, positioning her body to the opposite end of where he was looking. He then looked the other direction, and Elyssa responded by shifting her body to the other side to stay out of sight. The adventurer couldn't help but smirk at the situation she was in.
Her heart sank when the rat saw the missing bar in the window. "How'd that get 'der?" He asked, beady eyes squinting in suspicion as he staggered toward the opposite end of the hall where she had come out of. Gripping the keys to her side, Elyssa brought them up and looked between the two cells. One had a strange ghosty person that was clearly trying not to watch her as she decided, and a sleeping person that she couldn’t see many details of at all.
---
Kasumi’s approach was stealthy, the ex-Yakuza able to sneak up and freeze the rat in place, his eyes bulging as he tried to call for help. The rat continued to try to get out of his restraints, but to no avail. The keys at his waist were similar to the brass ones Elyssa had gotten, but were shaped more jaggedly than hers. Along the cells, the two prisoners were both watching Kasumi take down the guard intently.
The snake tried to get the group’s attention, while the rat was pointing to their gun holsters and making a gesture to try and get her to let them out. Will Kasumi and Love decide to free either of them? Out in the hallway, they could hear various rats yelling about what’s going on in another cell block.
---
The rat looked at Ariana with a confused expression, but didn’t lower his pistol. “Do aye look ‘ike a bloom’in idiot? This here’s property of the Gnawjack crew! An we don’t deal with the likes of ya hairless cretins!” Pulling back the trigger, his hand cannon exploded violently(2), sending a large red concussive shot that blasted against Ariana’s body, the shot having enough force to send her flying across the island toward the open ocean. The rat himself was flung backwards, crashing against a nearby box, recovering quickly though.
---
The guard didn’t know what happened as he transitioned instantly from sleep to knock out worlds. Having masterfully dispatched the guard, Yui would see that the hallway had three prisoners inside:
On the leftmost cell sat a large canine with scraggly blue fur and golden eyes, sitting on the ground and quietly watching Yui. A little further to the right sat a woman with long blond hair, wearing a peach-colored dress with an intricate pattern on the bottom with lace. She appeared to be beckoning for Yui to release her. On the far side sat a humanoid-looking man, but with dark grey skin and a strangely pudgy body. His slightly open mouth revealed a set of sharp teeth, and on his body was a red shirt and grey pants. He was also trying to get Yui’s attention. The hallway was still eerily quiet, thanks to Ariana drawing all the attention upstairs.

Yui heard the hand canon fire just as she looked at the cells in the hallway
"Looks like stealth is off the table! gotta get back to Ariana quick! well, looks like you three are in luck, I'm gonna let you guys run wild! now step back a little, if you will."-She told the woman with blonde hair.
The kodokan fighter lowered the forcefield and proceeded to strike the bars on every cell with just enough strenght to break them open.
"well, looks like that's that! now you're free to go...just don't mess with my friends alright? trust me, you don't want me as an enemy."- Yui clenched her fist as her ki slightly flared, lightning up her eyes in an eerie blue color. She turned around and dashed hoping to find a way up that led to Ariana.

“Nice job!” Loveline said when Kasumi grabbed the keys. “Alright, let’s get moving. With all that commotion, it’s likely someone already got caught. We should help them.”
“Definitely. But first…” Kasumi grabbed the key ring off of the rat’s belt, twirling it on her finger as she checked out the people in the cells. “Think we should let them out? After all, these guys seem like jerks and the conditions suck. I don’t feel good leaving them in here.”
“Eh? But this is a prison! Run by criminal rats. If these guys were bad enough to be jailed by them, they must be very bad news!”
“But if crime is the norm, then these guys might be in here for no crimes! Come on, how about we just let one out?”
“That sounds like something Ariana would say! Look, just because these people are okay with pillaging or whatever doesn’t mean thor prisoners don’t take pillaging too far.” Love looked at the two guys in the cells. “And even if we needed them as a distraction, which one would be release? The snake guy is probably their natural enemy so we might be able to trust him… Except he’ll probably want to kill them all or something. And the rat… Well, he could be here because he’s a traitor, or again, because he just did what they do but worse!”
“Oh come on. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, right?” Kasumi said. “The snake at least we can trust will target the rats, right? And if he gets out of hand I’ll just ice him up. He’s a snake, he’ll be wrecked immediately.”
“I guess… But I still think it’s an unnecessary risk. We’ve still got the stealth advantage and letting either of them out could blow it.”
“Snakes are sneaky, aren’t they?” Kasumi was looking less sure. “If you absolutely insist, I won’t let any out. But can we compromise? Just one, the snake. Nobody else.”
Love sighed. “If we have to let either out, the rat might be more useful… He probably knows the layout better. Argh, why is this so hard!” Love thought about it. “Okay, let’s let the snake out, and if he doesn’t attack us, I guess we could let the rat go too. If we’re already risking it, we may as well go all in.”
“Alright! Deal!” Kasumi inserted the key into the lock and it turned, letting the cell door open. Love watched the snake carefully, to make sure he wasn't going to jump them as soon as they relaxed.

“Hairless cretins!? Now look here you-” Ariana didn’t get to finish her sentence. The blast caught her in the stomach and blew the air out of her lungs. She left that breath far behind, blowing out the window as she went flying off, dropping stone and chunks of iron in her wake as she went flying right off the island, splashing down in the shallows by their boat. “Owww.” She grumbled, sitting up to hug her stomach, letting the waves crash around her. She’d go back when her organs settled back into their usual shape.

Deciding that she couldn’t take down a being this large, Elyssa stealthily maneuvered her way toward the wispy man’s cell and stuck the key inside, deactivating the field and allowing Elyssa to insert the second key into the cell door itself and slowly open it. At that exact moment, a cold chill went down her spine when a voice rang out mere feet from her.
“OI!” The hulking rat yelled, taking a thunderous step toward the adventurer. She managed to do a backflip out of the way of his metallic smash that sent shards of stone flying across the room. “Whoa, that arm is cool!” Elyssa commented, eyes fixed upon the arm. The rat glared at her as he slowly rose it back up. “You’se like it? I know a’ guy whose good a’t machines, and he fixed ‘er right up. The hell you’se doin’ ‘ere?!” He yelled out, reading another lunge with his arm.
Fortunately for Elyssa, the spirit man swept forward and gripped the sides of the rat’s head, his ghostly white hands starting to form ice crystals on his fur. “How about we settle things more...peacefully?” A cackle escaped his mouth as he lifted the massive rat up effortlessly, his own feet levitating off the ground. The rat couldn’t get his arm to attack such a close target, which allowed the spirit to encase the entire rat’s head in ice, sucking out a wispy substance from his open mouth before sealing that up as well. His attention then turned to Elyssa, the spirit taking off his wide hat and giving the adventurer a bow.
“Greetings, ma’am! Captain Silverbeard, at your service.” His voice flowed like ice, seeming to decrease the temperature of wherever his breath went. Elyssa folded her arms and smirked. “Nice to meet you, Silverbeard! I’m Elyssa Miyata, professional explorer and all around amazing person.” She stated, posing confidently. The ghost let out a hearty laugh.
“What a fun name! Well, thank ya for releasing me. You need any help getting out of here, explorer?” He asked, Elyssa instantly nodding her head. “That would be pretty great, actually! Let’s go, we need to get to the building opposite this one. Try to keep up!” And with that, the two took off down the hallway.
---
Kasumi swung the door open, the snake just watching. It waited for the door to be totally open before it chose to slither out. It said nothing, moving nearly silently across the floor, only a faint hissing as its scales scratched the stony floor. It circled Love and Kasumi once, then settled in front of the rat’s cage, blocking it off from their approach. “Do not release him.” It spoke so low that they could barely hear. “...howdy.” It belatedly greeted them.
Out in the hallway, the group would hear the thunder of footsteps of people going toward another building, yelling about a ‘strange person’ after the loud thunderclap only a few seconds earlier.
---
The grey man stood awkwardly, wobbling a little like he wasn’t used to standing. He looked around, blinking his beady eyes, before leaving the cage. He reached out, patted Yui on the head, and ran for the window, a floppy, lolling run. He sprang out, flopping through and rolling on the other side before he was up and running again, showing now sign of running.
When the blond woman was released next, she watched as Yui ran off without staying to talk with her at all. A frown descended across her face, the woman tapping her long nails across her forearm. “Well aren’t we busy?” She asked curtly, a sadistic grin spreading across her face as she turned toward the large blue dog that was now lunging at her. “DOWN BOY!” She yelled out, pulling a log maroon saber from her dress and running it straight through the dog’s mouth, completely impaling it and killing the beast instantly. Her smile widened as the body went limp.
“Not so tough without your owner, are you?” The woman spat on the floor as she withdrew her saber, flicking her wrist so the saber cut off the outer dress she wore to reveal the black one she wore underneath, decorated with numerous multicolored gems with runes sewn into the fabric. The woman then tied her hair back, taking a step toward the wall and slashing the saber across, causing the wall to split diagonally and cause sections of the floor above to collapse along with it. The woman simply kicked the rubble out of the way and stepped out onto the grassy cliff outside.
“Alright boys, how about we try this again?” With a grin, the woman held her saber to the sky and shot a red beam into the air. From around the cliffside, a hidden ship rocketed out and positioned itself below the cliff where she stood. From Yui’s building, she could hear the rats yelling more now.
“SOMEONE LET CIRCE OUT!” One rat bellowed out, completely running past Yui. Many streamed out to meet the woman, firing their cannons at the woman. She held her saber up, summoning a barrier that let them all explode harmlessly against, scorching the ground below. “He’s not going to save you this time, my little rodents! Byyyyyyyye!” With a cackle, Circe pointed her saber at one of the rats and fired a green beam at him, engulfing the man and making him begin to transform. With one last wave, she dove off the edge onto the ship below.
A second set of arms exploded out of his torso as his body grew 4 times larger, head morphing into one large mouth with dozens of teeth along the outside. The monster lashed out and took out 4 nearby rats, who were desperately trying to reload their canons, while others began to rush at it with swords of their own. Fortunately for Yui, nobody seemed to be paying her any mind as they raced to assist outside.

"I am! I think my friend just got shot, now if you don't mind I-"
Yui stopped talking the moment the woman impaled the dog.
"wow, aren't you messed up"- She said as the woman moved towards the wall and sliced it appart.
curiosity slightly overtook Yui and she peeked to see what happened next. Her transforming the rat into an even uglier monster made her wince for a moment, but ultimately she turned her back on it.
"Yeah...I'm just gonna head the other way"- She said as she ran further into the prison. Let the rats handle the even uglier rat. That was the plan, right?.
"That should do it for a distraction I guess, Not entirely happy with her being freed but it looks like she's leaving, so, all things considered, that was quite the success...I think. probably, anyway"

The ruckus outside seemed to be picking up. They should really move on, soon. They need to figure out how to deal with the prisoners quickly so they could make sure their allies were alright. She knew Elyssa and Ariana could take care of themselves, but she still worried.
Love observed the snake carefully. "Why shouldn't we release him?" She asked, making sure he wasn't making any sudden moves. "And while you're at it, why should we believe your answer? You're just as much a prisoner as he is."

“He is a rat.” The snake responded. “That… that’s it?” Kasumi asked. “That is all you need to know.” The snake said. “O-okay.” Kasumi blinked, beginning to feel like she made a poor choice. The snake cocked his head and his tongue flicked. “Circe was released. Hopefully she killed some rats on her way out.” Kasumi could swear he was smiling. “Ooooookay. Uh… can we get your name?” “Klisst.” “Well, Klisst, I think we should get out of here. You don’t want to get put back in jail, right?” Kasumi gestured to the window and Klisst nodded after a moment to think. He slithered out the window, climbing down with surprising dexterity. “I think I just pulled an Ariana.” Kasumi sheepishly glanced Love’s way before following the snake man.
Ariana hovered back onto the plateau and touched down. She stretched a few times, trying to work the soreness from her stomach. It didn’t do a whole lot to fix things, but she felt stronger after stretching so she did it anyway. She continued to stay still when the pudgy grey seal-like man came running by. She watched as he jumped over the cliff, falling to the sea far below. “...what is going on up there?” The sounds of cannonfire and roaring reached her from the block she had just read. Things had gotten a lot more interesting while she was out, apparently. She was running back when a woman came flying out.
Sparkling in black, she sailed right past Ariana without touching the ground. Ariana was in awe as her beam coursed back into the building, swelling the targeted rat into a growling behemoth. "Ah heck! Yui, you still in there?" She called. That monster wasn't going to make it easy to leave. Well, that was a problem that could be solved. She summoned up a small anchor on a long chain that quickly grew longer as she twirled it, until she threw it at the mega-rat, trying to entangle him in loops of chain. With that leverage, she tried to pull him outside, giving Yui room to leave without getting grabbed.

As Yui ran away from the scene, she might be able to hear Ariana’s anchor strike the mutant rat outside. The beast roared and fought against the chain, trying to pull Ariana toward him with his monstrous strength, helped by two arms. The surrounding rats paused to contemplate what was the larger threat here, but fired their cannons on the rat, sending it sprawling toward the cliff edge. A few rats then looked at Ariana, one pointing his cannon at her and yelling something in a strange high-pitched tongue before firing the round at her.
---
Inside the building, Yui ran past several more rats before she found herself in an actual room, and an important-looking one at that. The entire room was stacked high with chests. Big, small, grand ornate chests covered in jewels and shoddy pieces of driftwood that looked like they were about to fall apart, they filled the space so thoroughly it was difficult to squeeze through. With the amount of details entering her vision, it might take Yui a second to recognize that every chest had a label. “Dat Snaek” was carved into the wood of a greenish chest, “Bub th’ Hellscratcha” on one of dark metal. It wouldn’t take long for the largest and most elaborate chest to be found. It was scarlet and gold, the scarlet from the velvet over the top and the gold from the, well, gold covering its corners and edges in subtly leaf-like designs. “Sirse” was written in the trunk’s top via what looked like charcoal, and a tough bulldog of a padlock held it closed. It looked easy enough for somebody like Yui to break off, though. It wasn’t long before Yui would feel the earth beneath her feet rumble violently.
---
Exiting the prison through the window, both Kasumi and Loveline would see a familiar face sprinting across the side of the building, the battle with the monster just around the corner. “Heeeeeeey!” The adventurer called out. The wispy pirate ran behind her, astute observers able to see that he was floating. “We have to get out of here. He can help us, but we need the others!” Seeing the outline of Ariana’s anchor wrapped around the monster, Elyssa pointed her finger at it. “There’s Ariana...didn’t even make it inside. Maybe she should have gone with Love instead…” Elyssa tapped her chin thoughtfully.
“Anyway! We need to find Yui! And of course she’s the only one that doesn’t have a headset…” She patted the small device in her ear. “You both stay with Silverbeard, I’ll be b-” Before Elyssa could finish, a massive cannon ball struck the side of the high-up island, tearing a chunk out of its support. Elyssa wobbled for a second, grappling on top of the prison to see Circe’s ship with its cannons pointed directly at the island.
“We need to go, NOW! Get ready!” Without another word, Elyssa took off through another window. Silverbeard looked at the two and smirked. “Aye, the pleasure is all mine! Jus’ follow me, an try ta keep up.” The pirate captain then sprinted for the edge, waving his hand and releasing a cloud of green gas that began to twist and wind, forming into a dark brown sailing vessel with a ghostly green tint to it. Moss appeared to cling to the side, and the rest of the ship looked to be barely held together. “Ya can jump on now, or meet us at the bottom! Byyyyyyye!”
And with that, the spirit began to obey the laws of gravity and crashed down into the water below. The spirit landed in after it, and was already at the captain’s wheel. Several ghostly figures began to form, just as decrepit as the captain. A powder monkey, a lurching figure formed more of smoke than flesh, tottered on burning stumps. Headless goblins swung in the rigging, faces composed of no more than a few floating, disassociated teeth. The first mate was little more than a humming monolith with a single fleshy eye and a tricone hat set atop the pinnacle of his body.

“Oh, you want a tug of war? Bring it!” Ariana literally dug in her feet, shoving against the ground so hard they burrowed up to her ankles. Her entire body went into pulling on the chain, trying to drag the monster up to her. Helping it along, she drove cold down the chain, trying to chill him into submission. “Now get out of my friend’s way!”
“Hey Elyssa! We picked somebody up too!” Kasumi called out when she saw her, pointing at the snake curled next to her. “Hello.” He mumbled, likely too quiet for Elyssa to hear him. “We’ll uh, talk about him later.” She said as she vaulted out. “Follow the ghost? Follow the ghost!” She ran after him, stopping on the edge. “Uh, can you fly me down to the ghost ship? And maybe keep ready to fly back away if this guy turns out shady.” She asked Love. The snake moved right past without stopping, climbing down the cliff with a combination of his strong arms and wiggling his body into crevices to slither down.

"Ohhh, looks like it's my lucky day! not that i can take any of this back home according to Ely-san, but still!"-Yui said as she found the treasures, her eyes were immediately driven to the red and gold, which she proceeded to stike open. Inside Yui found a map, or a chunk of it
"Sapphire sea huh? what else..."
right under it, there was a burlap bag with a 'Handle With Care!!' tag on it. Yui looked in, finding several ceramic animal sculptures.
"These are kinda cute i guess? guess I'll show them to Ely-san, see what she thinks"
the last thing in the chest were jewels, Yui grabbed a handful of them as she took flight, bursting through the roof. She then closed her eyes and looked for Elyssa's presence.
"Over there huh? looks like she is gathered with quite a few people"
Yui's flight was fast enough that she arrived in a matter of seconds, as she landed she waved at her team
"Hiii, are you all ok? I heard gunshots. oh, while I'm here, wanna check what i found? you sure I can't have at least the purple earring?" -Yui told Elyssa as she handed over the loot.

The snake was definitely shady. His refusal to let out the rat just for his species made Love want to let him out as soon as the snake left and interrogate him. But she heard the sounds of fighting outside, so she knew there was no time for the latter. She wasn't going to let the rat out if she couldn't benefit from it.
She followed the snake and Kasumi outside and they ran into their brave leader. The island was already turning into a big mess. Cannons fired from it and at it. A real pirate adventure seemed to be unfolding. But more importantly, Ariana seemed to be in trouble. And yet Kasumi wanted her to fly her down and stay there in case the snake was as shady as he looked... Dammit!
She transformed into Garnet Rainbow and grabbed Kasumi. "Alrighty, hold on tight!" She flew down as fast as she could and as soon as Kasumi touched the ground, she summoned her scythe. "Pattern 21: Punica Burst!" She fired a bullet at Ariana, but just before reaching it, it burst into 6 orange bullets spiraling behind her. They then all launched themselves at a single point on the polymorphed rat's body.

Ariana’s tactic took the rat monster by surprise, who began to slide toward the edge. He let out another monstrous roar, but was silenced when Loveline’s bullets smashed into his torso, having traveled all the way up the cliffside and homing in on the target. This forced the rat to lose his grip, being thrown off his feet by Ariana’s force and being launched down into the ocean below. The other rats looked on in stunned silence, then turned their attention on Ariana.
“Oi! Ge’her!” One shouted, firing his cannon at her. The eruption of cannon fire would continue as Ariana made her way across the island and to the ship everyone else was on. The ghostly captain waved her when she approached. “Hello thar! Just two more, aye? Where be they…” He asked, stroking his transparent beard.
---
Luckily, it seemed like Yui was able to find Elyssa before she could, Elyssa’s eyes widening at the stuff Yui was holding. “Hey, that’s great! I’ll just hold onto half of it for now, we have to gooooo!” She waved at the maelstrom of cannonfire around them. Leading Yui down the cliffside, Elyssa swung off the ship’s mast with her grappling hook and landed onto the deck. “We’re all here, go go go!”
“Aye!” The captain nodded, directing the crew to unfurl the mast and having the ship lurch forward on the wind. Everything seemed to grow...quiet. But then they found themselves staring upon the bow of Circe’s massive, well-made wooden ship that almost sparkled. She stood with one foot upon the railing, looking at the others.
“Now where do you think YOU’RE going?! Nobody leaves here until I get back all of my stuff, you see.” She waved at her crew, who were a mixture of humans and humanoid monster creatures. “So how about you let us come aboard and make sure you don’t have anything I own, hm? Unless you’d like to become pigs for our dinner tonight, that is.” She gave a wicked smile and brandished her saber at them. Elyssa turned to the others.
“Something Circe owns? Did you see anything like that in there, Yui?” Elyssa asked, displaying the loot she was given on a nearby table.

Yui further blocked Circe's sight by standing in front of the table and carefully stuffed the map and animals in her clothes, she turned around and grabbed the handful of jewels
"Ah yes! got some stuff from back there, but I'm not dumb enough to think that you will just let us go afterwards, here, you can have all your stuff back, just take your time fishing for it!"-Yui said as she tossed all the gems to the sea.
"wouldn't waste time doing anything else if I were you! you don't want the current to take all your treasure away!"-She said as she moved to Elyssa
"Sorry I couldn't think of something better, let's get out of here while we can, she's bad news"-Yui whispered to her. She had no problem choosing to fight circe, but that wasn't her call to make. It was better to stall her until Elyssa came up with a better plan.

They all finally managed to get off of the prison island before it turned into more of a mess. But they weren't out of the woods quite yet. They faced a far larger ship now, and its captain seemed a bit more wicked than the rat pirates. She asked for her stuff back, whatever that entailed. One of the other pairs must have found a stash or something.
As a matter of fact, they did. Yui grabbed some jewelry and tossed it into the ocean as a distraction. But looking at Ariana, Love got a bad feeling. Ariana was even more reckless than Arthur and this woman wasn't leaving the best impression on anyone. Love gently took her by the arm and said, "Riri, Yui distracted her, we should use that to get some distance. Can you use your powers to help maneuver the ship around theirs? We shouldn't pick a fight yet."

“Get your dumb butt boat out of our way or I’ll sink it!” Ariana yelled at Circe, putting a foot up on the ship’s railing. She was only stopped from doing anything further when Loveline grabbed her. “What? I wasn’t gonna just jump over and punch her, that would be dumb…” Ariana mumbled, blushing as she realized her stupidity. She closed her eyes and wiggled her fingers, feeling the water below in her mind. Salt water was a little trickier to move than fresh, but not by enough to stop her. She took hold of an extant undertow and wrenched it under their ship, pushing it out with a lurch. “Hey, whoever’s steering, you better get this thing going! The boat’s a couple tons, I can only do so much!”
