Asnfore nodded at Leor as he offered her an explanation. It seemed that as much she herself has read the situation, he himself had also understood what must have been going there her head. "Yes, I've gathered as much. Fear not, you've not offended me." she reassured the redhead in a calm yet dignified tone, one that called to mind the image of a great sphinx rather than the human body that was her current form. It was something she had done almost instinctually. Asnofre was rather concerned with what sort of appearance she projected, in part because of her own pride, but considerably more so because any shortcomings or lack of dignity on her part could reflect poorly on Isidore, which was not something she could allow to happen.
Hoping that she had put Leor at ease, Asnofre started wandering the apartment. She was inspecting every surface for even the hint of a speck of dust. She was going to try and make herself useful, even if it was just a token contribution. It was the gesture the counter, the symbolism of it. She was a guest and a servant, and Elatha was their host and a queen. The fact that no one but her seemed to be bothered by all of this somehow bothered Asnofre even more. Part of her hoped Isidore would go out of his way and chastise everyone for their behavior, yet she somehow knew better than to expect it. Her King was always mild-mannered and lenient with servants. And of course, he was a guest as much as she was, and Elatha herself didn't seem as though she treated anyone here as subservient to her, so perhaps any such suggestion would only be uncalled for and perhaps even an insult. Having made peace with the fact that no one else would rectify the situation, Asnofre continued her search for a minute chore to take care of.
Isidore met Thomas's explanation with boisterous laughter, a sound everyone at the apartment had to be getting used to by now considering how much the Pharaoh enjoyed indulging in it.
"I see. I see." he said as he clasped his hands together. "Then, she is a free-spirit who nevertheless does not shirk the obedience owed to her Queen." he summarized what Thomas had told him while nodding. "Those are all admirable traits to call one's own. I've little doubt that I'll be able to persuade her to return in an orderly manner. I don't believe I'll find her at all difficult."
He looked around the room once taking note of everyone before continuing.
"That is all I'll need to know I believe. Then if anyone wishes to be my companion on this mission, we can depart whenever opportune."
