Backstory
Part of the nobility of Via, Nelle was trained under both the blade and the arcane arts ever since she was a young lass, her training was supervised by an elite master at arms, while her magic talents were developed in the Royal Academy of Arcane Sciences of Rigel
As a young girl, Nelle was taught two different philosophies in life. One of birthright, that came from her parents and peers, where they and they alone were worthy, while the beasts were underserving.
The other philosophy, came from her mentor who taught her the way of the sword. His philosophy was not one of birthright, but of action and merit. Nelle came to admire and uphold that worldview as a result, tossing aside any idea of superiority based on birthright. Nelle dreamt of eventually becoming a knight, the tales and exploits of the Northern Legion inspired her greatly and she came to admire those as well. As Nelle came upon the news of her master's demise, she began to search for answers, skeptic of his death. It was only after she managed to acquire a magic relic known as the veil that she could finally track him.

The Veil: The magic artifact that sent Nelle to this world. It allows her to cross the gap between dimensions, effectively turning her intangible for brief moments. In theory, with enough power she could use the artifact to cross dimensions, but as she is now, it can only slightly phase her from existance for brief seconds.
