Arthur clapped politely at the end of the match. Ann's power was scary. Two takedowns at once? And after Becky defeated Arthur, too. Now that just wounded his pride. The ice mage hopped off his ice throne as it disappeared. He wanted to help Becky up, but Huntsman was closer and got to her first. That wasn't a big problem in itself, but when Malcolm and Ashlea came back, Huntsman intentionally provoked Arthur.
With ice colder than any he'd made surrounding his heart, and flames stronger than any that hurt him in his eyes he went over to Huntsman and Becky.
"That won't be necessary," he said, picking up Becky's mud-soaked clothes. "I'll help her get cleaned up. Wouldn't be my first time. Besides, I need to talk to her about something." He took Becky by the arm and gave Huntsman a look that said 'let her go or I'll chop off your filthy tendrils' and he meant it, too.
"Didn't you want to get those Roc eggs anyway? Better hurry before the others get all of them. And the rest of you, get a move on already! You're burning daylight here!"
Arthur pulled Becky away from the group, activating Wolf's Soul to make sure no one was following them stealthily, and when they got to a secluded bit of the stream he muttered a few words and cast muffle in an area around them to prevent evesdroppers from hearing anything.
"Alright Becks, let's get you cleaned up. And while we do that, we need to talk about your relationship with Huntsman."

Derek rolled his eyes as he got ignored, then, he should just whatever he pleased in order to having some fun as well. Carrying Gallerian in his hands the boy went towards Ann, with a smirk in his face, the boy give her the cat.
I have to do something, take care of him Wrestling Queen - He winked at her before dissapearing into blue flames, he teleported. The cat meowed without knowing what did just happened, he glanced towards the girl carrying him. The angel knew she wasn't a bad person but still, he couldn't avoid being a bit nervous for being carried by a stranger as well he really got worried about Derek leaving him. W-What if... WHAT IF HE LEFT HIM?!?!?! DID DEREK REALLY? No... Derek said to take care of him while he was doing something... something... OH NO! The angel tried to transform again in his human form but he couldn't! Derek even locked him!!! He finaly noticed that he had a collar in his neck, HOW CRUEL! Now he was like any normal cat, he couldn't even talk to Ann to help him look for the prince! He could easily die in the paws of another creatures!
He meowed in a hurry to being listened, but he wasn't sure if Ann would understand him...
Derek went again to the beach, as he observed the God's House from a fair distance. How could a prince approach a deity? From what he knew these temples insides's weren't places for people to meet, neither, the only thing that could be done in front of one of these houses could be sacrifices and rituals. Still, the lights that escaped the God's house were really shiny, it didn't surprise why despite of being late the island shone like it was midday. The blonde sat near the house as he observed it, probably it had someone inside of it? Or maybe it was empty. He didn't feel like catching eggs, his curiosity and greed for knowledge was focused on that Temple. Maybe if he waited he could see some activity inside of the place. He hoped to don't fall asleep, teleporting from such a far distance in the middle of a mountain took a lot of energy from him, sitting was the best idea for the moment until he recharged a little... just in case if he needed to escape the wrath of a God

Ann blushed as Derek gave her Gallerian
"Q-queen??!"- she replied to herself red as a tomato.
"N-no, I'm sure he said Wrestling Queen..." Mai replied to the virtual warrior somewhat uncomfortable from her reaction
"Shut up! let me have my moment!"-she said with small tears in her eyes, the cat was cute, although she wasn't quite sure as to where it had come from. It seemed to have some sort of urgency, although Ann wasn't sure on whether the cat was just hungry, or if it was something else.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you little kitty! want a big mac?!"
"Cat's don't eat hamburgers Ann."
"Then I'll get one of those copper birds or something dammit! now let's go!"
*Pretty sure cats cant eat those either*
Nobody was sure as to what pissed Ann more at that moment, Mai being the voice of reason, or her inability to take care of pets in general.
both Musashi moved towards the roc nest as well.

Ashlea’s face matched her hair color when she turned the corner. Becky’s horrible hairy body filled her entire vision and she slammed her eyes shut. The image thankfully began to fade, like the blurred image of a monster passing in a horror movie. “"I swear to God, can I not leave you people for five seconds?! You know what, go ahead. I am just going to hang back and let you all deal with the birds! Have fun!” She grabbed Malcolm and drug him downstream again.
A ways down, she turned and grinned at Malcolm, biting her lip as if to contain the joy trying to escape her mouth. "Those idiots...don't help them with these birds, ok? I want them to charge in, get swarmed...and have to ask me for help! And then they will have to clean up their acts! Amazing right? Right?" Ashlea whispered, eyes sparkling. “Okay, but if anybody gets hurt, please help me get out there to heal them.”
Huntsman twisted his neck around when Arthur offered to help. “Why Arthur, I didn’t know you found her as hot as I do. I thought you still saw her as a kid… ah, but that doesn’t discourage everybody! Nice of you to offer, but-” “Alright.” Becky broke away from Huntsman’s grip and skipped over to Arthur. “...alright, enjoy bath time then I guess.” Huntsman shrugged, leaving the clearing with the others. He was silent for a long time, mulling over thoughts.
Finally he grinned and glanced at Ann. “Stop enjoying that. That guy’s a complete douche. At best he wants to fuck you and leave your without so much as a number. At worst, he just wants you to hold his angel. And not in a euphemism sense, the unfun sense where there’s literal angels involved.” He flipped the cat in her arms off and peered around the corner. He caught Malcolm looking at him, more nervous than usual.
“What? Spit it out quick.” He waved him along. “Ah!? Um, I was wondering, sir, if you were mad.” He swallowed. “Mad? Cause Becky wants to talk to a friend? Oh, Malcolm. You completely misunderstand the kind of monster I am. I hope Ashlea isn’t that jealous with you?” He made his shark-toothed grin. “O-of course not, sir, I just-” “You don’t need to make your low opinion of me more public than it already is.” Huntsman stepped around the corner, right into sight of the birds.
“FUCK OFF BIRDS!” He roared, making the entire river shake with lungs that expanded out of the limits of his chest and the birds became a golden storm streaking through the branches above. All that remained was a storm of falling feathers. “Get the eggs before they come back! And don’t touch those feathers! I don’t care how tough you are, you’ll be ribbons!” Huntsman made an easy jump into the trees, a feather going through through him on the way. He ignored the injury and sweeped up a few eggs, covered in a green-gold metal marked with divots and pores.

Ann looked at Huntsman unamused by his remark, listening to him speak badly of others just seemed like an annoying irony.
"I gotta take care of the kitty, why don't you get the eggs this time?"
"easy enough!"
Mai clad herself in armor, the feathers created an annoying metallic sound and lit up sparks as they scratched against her titanium alloy.
*Huh, what to do, climbing while wearing armor seems like something quite tiresome, and using perfect warrior again will leave me sore as fuck*
She thought about what to do for a second before deciding to down the tree. Mai concentrated orgone energy on her palm and sliced down the tree in a single go. As it fell, she grabbed it by one end and slowly carried it out of the way until Ann was close enough. Musashi struggled, lifting the tree and then putting it back down after a couple of steps, but Ann patiently waited as she rolled her eyes.
"There you go! now climb! the feathers won't turn that cat into mince now"
"Fine, just hold it tight"
Ann began to hop on the branches of the broken tree with Gal as Mai set it straight, she was incredibly nimble, barely disturbing the branches as she got to the upper part of the tree.
she reached for the metallic eggs, and one after the other teleported them out. Once she was done, Ann jumped back to the ground, she didn't seem strained from the fall, in fact, it was almost as if she hadn't jumped out of a tall tree at all.
"Got the eggs, not sure what we can do with those, but if the worst comes to it, we'll ask Osechi!"
Ann was glad she had gotten the eggs before those birds returned, if their feathers were sharp enough to cut through someone just by falling, their beaks must be crazy.

The cat hissed at Huntsman, not because Gallerian was angry at him, but because his instincts were doing that to the poor angel! He tried to escape Ann's arms, maybe if he could convice her to let him go, he could manage to make her follow him to the beach where Derek was. He had a bad feeling about him all alone near the God's House. He tried to meow and move his paws a little, this form wasn't comfortable in these moments.
Why did he do this to me?!!?!? I didn't behave bad! I didn't do anything to make him angry!! Derek whyyyyy!?!!?!?

Becky convinced Huntsman to let her go alone with Arthur. That made Arthur's precautions seem a bit paranoid, but he wanted to make sure the shapeshifter didn't intrude while the case against him was being presented. Still, not being a liar, he helped Becky get cleaned up while he talked, cleaning her back and hair while she dealt with the front.
"Becky, I'm sure Huntsman makes you happy, but you really shouldn't trust him. He's a bad, bad person." Creature, even. But that distinction isn't important now. "Remember how he and I merged to help Ariana all those months ago? Well, I peered far deeper into his mind that I wanted to and I think you should know it too. He told you about all the avatars he's killed, how he was a hero saving the world, didn't he? But he also left out the part where a lot of those avatars were kids, babies, unable to even protect themselves. He never even tried merging with someone capable of using magic, never tried banishing the demon gods like back then in Mexico. And he took great joy in that slaughter."
Arthur paused to let Becky react. There were other things he could reveal to her if this wasn't enough.

Ashlea began to laugh to herself when Huntsman yelled at them, the birds obviously will return soon. While Ashlea would have normally been concerned...she knew that Huntsman probably couldn't actually die to these birds or feathers. Her expression then turned more annoyed when she saw how easily Mai and Ann were able to recover some eggs from the high-up nests. "Uuuuuuuugh. I guess that guy left, Becky is over there, and the ice mage don't feel like helping. Guess I'll be nice."
Grabbing onto a nearby branch, Ashlea leaped up to a low-hanging nest and picked up two eggs, stuffing them into her pocket-dimension band and hopping back down to the ground. Glancing at the flock of angry birds, Ashlea began to concentrate mana into the palm of her right hand, condensing the fire into a ball and making it larger. After a few seconds of charging, she launches it directly at the flock and dives behind a nearby bush, allowing the fireball to get near the flock and explode brilliantly, the fire rapidly dissipating and only producing a loud shockwave that rippled throughout the area. She hoped that the loud noise would keep them away for a little while longer. .

Becky sat in the stream, scrubbing without any hint of modesty. Her hair wiggled in the water, helping her scrub out the mud. She didn’t look at Arthur, but her posture made it clear she was intently listening. “Bad.” She mulled over the word. Images of Alexis standing bloody and burning over her sister, whipping her back into ribbons, invaded her mind without welcome. She trusted Arthur, but over Huntsman? “...proof.” She looked up, staring him right in the eyes.
The eggs were gathered easily enough without the birds interfering. Ashlea’s explosion sent the few remaining birds scattering. Metallic screams rang out overhead, Malcolm nervously keeping an eye on the sky. “Alright, that’s enough, let’s get out before they come back and peck Malcolm into bite-sized fragments.” Huntsman jumped down right next to Malcolm, splashing him up to his knees. “Sorry.” Huntsman grinned as he ran off down the stream. Malcolm mumbled his protest and ran after, grabbing Ashlea’s hand on the way.
They were into the trees when two birds returned. Both divebombed the biggest, shiniest target; Mai. Their beaks came first, sharper than their beaks by far and backed up by several pounds of terminal velocity bird. They swooped back up after their attack, giving Mai time to flee if she wasn’t too badly injured, but they were circling back around.
The rest stopped somewhere in the woods with thinning trees, the beginnings of the grasslands growing up around their ankles. “Ahahahaha! What a haul!” Huntsman tapped on his collection of golden eggs, enjoying the metallic ring. He was still grinning when he saw the struggling Gallerian. “Something’s wrong with your cat.” He pointed, leaning against a tree.
Far away, back on the beach at the other side of the valley, Derek would finally see something. A shadow passed across the beams of light, momentarily dimming them. It wasn’t human, far too large and clearly quadrupedal. Just what was the mischievous prince spying on? From so far away, he’d never know.

the cat escaped from Ann's arms as it struggled, she tried reaching for it but a sudden pain in the chest stopped her, she violently coughed as she took her hands to her mouth.
"Wow, you ok there? what's gotten into you?" - Mai replied, her curiosity did not last for long, as Ann was swift to answer.
"It's nothing, don't worry about it," she said as she wiped the blood off her hands. As Mai returned her focus towards the path, two of the birds returned, lounging at incredible speed towards her, the Musashi warrior did not notice the moment they tore apart chunks of her armor and cut into her skin, she dropped to her knees only for Ann to watch in disbelief from the back.
"MAAAIII!! ARE YOU OK?!" -The virtual warrior ran towards her, worried about the spurt of blood that came with the initial attack. she set her hands on her shoulders and after looking at her expression for a second she turned around and left
"...♥"
*Stupid pervert, go die, making retarded faces as I worry* "I'm leaving you, ok? get up right now! let's move before those things come back"
"I...hah...don't think....I can♥ I mean...look at me I'm....so badly injured right now..."
Mai's panting just pissed off Ann all the more, what kind of weirdo was she?! being sure she would let those birds slice her to death, Ann returned and carried her over her shoulder.
"And take off that bloody armor, it weighs too much! stupid sister..."
The virtual warrior did a sprint while carrying Mai, making sure they could flee before those things decided to return, looking at Mai's wounds, Ann thought it wasn't possible she hadn't gotten injured. was she just faking it? or was her pain tolerance ridiculously high?!

A grin of satisfaction spread across Ashlea's face when she saw that her efforts paid off; the birds were held off long enough for her to grab a few eggs and run away with Malcolm in tow. Her eyes did widen when two birds seemed to attack the gorilla woman...wait...wasn't Becky the gorilla? The loud gorilla woman was attacked by both birds and slung over Ann's shoulder, who seemed far more competent.
Once the team stopped, Ashlea breathed a sigh of relief as she tried to catch her breath. "Hah...hah...well, I'd say that went pretty well." She said, adjusting her hair. Ashlea made sure Malcolm was fine before walking over to Ann, cocking her head to the right slightly. "So, I saw that attack back there. Does she need healing or something? Or is she some kind of pervert and wants to remain hurt?" She asked, noticing the dumb expression on Mai's face. How anyone could take pleasure from pain was beyond her. Ashlea then rolled her eyes when she thought of her sister-in-law, who had this exact mindset as well. Why was she the only normal person in this family?! If they aren't a masochist, they are a sadistic freak!

The cat meowed as he walked by Ann's side, now Gal couldn't really bother her after the other girl got injured, poor girl! Her face was all red by the attack of those birds! She was in a terrible pain! The best he could do was to follow them, and once everything were ok he'll try to find a way to help them look for Derek.
The prince by other hand was at the verge of sleeping until he noticed the strange shadow inside the Temple. He got up immediatly as he climbed the stairs, he stopped when he felt his own vision get blurry for a mere instant, he felt a little lightheaded but it didn't matter, he was now inside the Temple. If a God was really in there he should at least pay a visit, you don't always know if it's a grumpy ancient person that wants to tell their stories like those grandpas in a Retirement Home.

Arthur was shocked when Becky asked for proof. Did she really trust Huntsman so much? How could a monster like that not show his disgusting side in front of her? How was Arthur supposed to prove the monster's personality anyway?
"Proof? I... That's... Hm..."
Baiting him into showing it would be easier said than done, and Becky might see something like that as bad. So how... Then it occurred to him. The lovers' spell, the telepath's curse, the spell made for peering into another's mind at the cost of letting them peer into yours.
"Alright, Becky. I've got one way to prove it, to show you exactly what I know. But it means I'll be able to see into your mind. Are you willing to accept that breach of privacy?"
If Becky agreed, he would cast Telepath's Curse. Their minds would meld in a way similar to the merger he had with Huntsman, perhaps even stronger. If not used carefully, they could lose their own identities, become unable to differentiate even their bodies. But this was only a short trip. Arthur would guide Becky into his memories, into Huntsman's memories that remained within him, while trying not to look past her surface thoughts and doing his best to hold on to the awareness of his own being.
If she refused, he would go back to the drawing board. Perhaps there were witnesses to his cruelty that could corroborate his story. It would be a lot more difficult for sure.

Becky nodded when Arthur offered his mind-melding spell. She wasn't totally alien to the concept. Huntsman had partially fused with her a few times for the sheer pleasure of it, sharing sensations and emotions, if nothing deeper. She closed her eyes and let Arthur's thoughts become hers. There was a confusing morass of memory at first before memories that were not Arthur's appeared.
They had colors that humans couldn't see and scents the human nose could never pick up. Carnage and laughter filled these scenes. Becky had seen Huntsman kill, but now she did more than see. She felt the pleasure that coursed through him when he plunged his claws into a torso, delight at ripping even beasts apart when they attacked him. This upset her the most. Many of the people he killed deserved it, his memories told her that. Human traffickers, warped cult leaders, a petty warlord or two.
But the simple beasts who merely sought food or attacked out of fear? He felt just as good ripping into them. Them and the children he was made to slay. Becky looked down and saw oversized claws strewn with intestines, something with no ribcage lying at her feet. She laughed. She screamed. She came out of the spell splashing down in the river. The cold snapped her out of it and left her gasping. "He's... bad." Tears began to flow down her face. Alexis was bad too. Would she some day learn that Arthur was bad and become totally alone?
Huntsman's posture changed when he saw Mai's injury, but he leaned back on the tree when he saw her expression. "Oh, you like that? I can do pain if you like. I'll show you some tricks later." Huntsman chuckled, making wicked-looking barbs extend from his fingertips. "I think she's into it, yeah." Malcolm mumbled, just as uncomfortable with it as Ashlea. "I should check her out though... and the cat." He had also noticed the angel's clear discomfort. He walked to Mai's side and knelt, petting the cat with a growing smile. "Now, what's wrong? Is it this?" He put a hand on the cat's collar. "Oh, and, uh... I can fix that." He didn't really want to look at Mai's injury, but he could tell it wasn't so severe as to be beyond his magical talents.
Derek would be hit with a blast of warm air entering the temple. Not just warm in fact, this place was roasting. The wall Derek faced was entirely covered in a mural formed out of tiny shards of precious stones, depicting a modern scene of farmers working their fields with tractors and combines under the sun. It got stranger when looked at closer. What looked like random swirls of wind took on human forms. So did clouds, and falling grain, everything inanimate was living, aware, alive. Even the earth, if Derek looked, was shaped like an enormous woman, the farmers standing atop her massive, fertile pregnant stomach. The sun itself seemed to break this pattern. It was just a normal sun, coated in gold leaf so that it stood out even among sapphires. However, whenever Derek moved, it changed shape, becoming a golden figure in a burning chariot, pulled by four horses barely contained by their harness. "I'm glad you are enjoying my artwork, but the rules were quite clear." The voice was soft and deep, coming from nowhere. It held an utter calmness belied by the way the house was growing steadily hotter. "Now tell me why you sought to break the rules of my island."

"Yes, she is a pervert, and yes, she needs healing," Ann said as she dropped Mai on the ground like worthless a sack of potatoes. The Musashi let out a groan as she hit the floor.
"I'm Ann Parker, royal guard of the Musashi clan, pleased to meet you" She responded with a big smile as she dusted off her hands, offering a handshake to Ashlea. The virtual warrior rolled her eyes as huntsman arrived only to offer Mai some extra pain.
Mai would have gladly replied at Huntsman, but Parker quickly interrupted her, kneeling to block Mai's mouth with her hand in an attempt to stop her from saying anything stupid.
"No thank you, we'll appreciate some healing, though"
Ann checked her stats, using perfect warrior had damaged her true health directly. Apparently, she could kill herself simply by using the skill for more than 60 seconds.
*2000HP and all I get is 60 seconds? must be fun being a demigod* -she said while looking at Mai, who was rather enjoying herself despite her injuries.
The virtual warrior did not lose sight of the cat, somehow it became her responsibility as well. She signaled it to get closer, as petting the cat was the only thing she could do in order to keep her stress levels down.

That's so gentle of you, but only the royal family has the power to free me!
That's what the angel thought as he meowed, the only thing he could do now is to wait until Mai was in better shape. Once she did, he'll escape the four people around him and made them following him! Yes! That was a perfect plan. However, he went near Ann's side by the moment, tilting his head as he observed Mai.
The prince was amazed by the wall, slowly moving from side to side as he observed the different shapes the mural had. The place was nice for him, at least by now, it was a good thing being a fire driaochta, it didn't mean he couldn't learn to use different elements but if you are born with one that means you'll be way skilled with it and gain benefits as well.
I didn't want to be disrespectful... - He answered still amazed by the artwork - Curiosity, is what leads to knowledge, however... - The boy slowly sat in the floor, still observing the insides of the place as he tried to listen carefully to the God - I'm not a cat that could die from it... neither some arrogant mortal that would take what is not theirs, neither show this place to the world... I bet you already know, since you are a God but I came from a Hidden Island too... Twelve years without knowledge of the inside and outside world - He observed again the mural looking directly at the woman that appeared once again - I'm glad that I... I... - His view got blurry, as he felt a strange salty flavor on his mouth.
Raising his hand to gently rub one if his closed eyes, inside the closet windows of his soul he noticed green flames coming near him and a voice telling him to run...
Run...
Run...
It'll take you!
Derek opened his eyes again, sweaty, he also felt terrfied as he checked his surroundings, he was still on the Temple - As I was saying... I'm glad to still being a child - However that wasn't entirely what he meant, he was curious and hungry for knowledge because he was scared from those nightmares, the Kingdown, his Mother, what possessed her and Death. He didn't knew who was his real father either, he didn't completely knew who he was. He felt sick, and now he pissed a God but at least he knew what was inside of the place, breaking the rules doesn't always lead to a punishment, isn't it?
However, the strange taste on his mouth didn't dissapear.

Ashlea tried to ignore Huntsman's comments to Mai, but she couldn't help but roll her eyes. Great, now HE was inserting himself into the situation. Though maybe the two perverts would be perfect for each other. She reached her hand out and shook Ann's, giving a polite smile. "Ashlea Primrose, student of Gateway and expert in Hidden World zoology. Nice to meet you, Ann." She stated, placing her hands on her hips when they finished shaking hands. "Royal guard, huh...?" She said to herself. Who were these 'Musashi', and why were they royal? The name sounded Asian, but what country were they stationed in? "So what does that mean? Never heard of these...Musashi." Ashlea said, looking over to Malcolm.
"Hey Malcolm, would you mind healing the pervert? You are much better at healing than I am. I think that cat is fine." Ashlea told her boyfriend, turning back to hear Ann's response. Where was that ice mage and the gorilla girl?! She had no idea how trustworthy Arthur was, but she wouldn't trust Becky alone with anything more important than a pencil.

Becky got to explore Arthur's memories of the event. With all the sensations she saw from Huntsman's side, she also saw Arthur's disgust at those deeds. Once they were done, Becky collapsed into the river. Mow Arthur wondered if this was the right thing to do. Even if he tried not to peek, he saw her surface thoughts, her feelings while seeing the memories. She was clearly hurt by what she saw. But Arthur knew this was for the best.
He knelt down in front of her, water soaking into his jeans, and clasped her head in his hands. "Yes. He's bad. I'm sorry. But there are people out there who aren't as bad, people who can make you happy without being monsters. Someday, you will find them, Becky. I hope it's soon. You deserve them."
He let go of her head, wiping away some tears with his thumb at the same time, and spread out his arms. "How about that hug I owe you?"

Becky whimpered, hiding her face beneath her hair. Huntsman's crimes wouldn't stop swirling in her head. It was overwhelming. She was hardly squeamish to gore, after her many years in the wild. She had even been disemboweled herself. It was the associated emotions that filled her, corroded her mind. She peeked through at Arthur, at the only one she still trusted. He had never hurt her, only tried to help. She accepted his hug, squeezing him tight. "I found one." She said, not letting go.
"Just hold still, alright? This will be rough." Malcolm pulled a small box from his bag and opened it up. There were a few medical tools inside, first and foremost some tweezers. Swiftly he removed a series of metal shards, bits of her armor pushed into the wound by the bird's attack. He was gentle as he could be, but it certainly wouldn't be pleasant. Finally he put the tweezers and a bottle full of bloody bits of metal away. "I can only cast mid-tier healing magic, but that should be enough." Blue sparks flew from Malcolm's fingertips, sinking into the hole in Mai's torso. It sealed up, leaving onto a little dot of a scar. "That should heal up completely in a few days." He stood, grinning brightly.
Huntsman snorted and walked off. "Now that we're done playing doctor, we're on a schedule. I smell good times ahead." Huntsman lead the team up a slope. They were beginning to enter the foothills and the trees were getting sparser. "You know, I wasn't expecting these things here cause they're very rare, but we're in for a treat." Huntsman whispered as they topped a hill. In a gulch between hills, strange animals scuttled.
They resembled giant scorpions with cobalt blue exoskeletons and strange, blunt, bowl-shaped tail tips instead of stingers. They gathered around nests of stony eggs. "Now, what we need to do is-" Huntsman's words were interrupted with a flare of light from the temple. He looked up to see a plume of fire bursting from the pillars of the temple on the mountain. A few seconds later, the boom of the explosion reached their ears. The scorpions all scrambled to their nests, waving their claws aggressively. "What the fuck... the prince! Where the fuck is the prince!?" Huntsman wheeled at the group, snarling ferociously when he realized Derek was absent.
"I see everything under the sun." If Derek looked, he would see that the figure of the sun god was moving. Its lips moved out of sync with the voice that filled the room. "I occasionally looked at your kingdom over the years. It is interesting. A land belonging to another god. Such a rare thing these days, now that we keep ourselves so far from humanity." Things were growing even warmer, a burning air coming from the mural.
"A child? Achilles was 15 when he went to war, Heracles even younger when he slayed the Nemean Lion. My sun was not much older than either. And his fate will be yours. Cast back to earth for meddling with the affairs of the gods." The wind grew stronger, to the point Derek would have to dig in his feet to even remain in one spot. "Goodbye, Phaethon." The wind became golden flame, blasting Derek free of the temple and into empty air.

The boy opened his eyes despite of the bright light almost burning his eyes, another God? What was controlling his mother's body was a God? He didn't had enough time to think about it or even ask as he got eject of the Temple, falling on his back in the sand almost touching the water of the sea. He felt part of his body hurt especially his arms, noticing that they got burned a bit, but not enough to be something that needed inmediat traetment.
The cat got completely scared when he saw the explosion, he ran towards the beach leaving everyone behind, he got a terrible feeling and it was worse now that in that locked form he couldn't even track Derek's magic. His imagination flew like a hurricane with images of the young prince being dead or severely injured.
