Laura dropped to her knees. Golden blood slicked the floor. This wasn't the first time she had been impaled. There was that time a giant boar got her with its tusk, that time sucked. She was sure there were others, but they were slipping away. The point was, she should be able to survive this. She had healed herself and gotten up. But this time, her natural powers weren't closing the wound. Jun looked down at her, eyes Arctic.
"This is how people like you deserve to die." She kicked the demigod into the pool and turned to Mai. She was too late to stop Mai from charging and too close to dodge. Hachiro's ki exploded up around her just as Mai made her thrust. Every tile around Jun was reduced to shards and Jun herself took a few stumbling steps back. The pool was whipped up into waves like the ocean, dumping Laura painfully back onto shore.
"Not enough." A line of blood trickled down from Jun's lip. It wasn't just the ki. Jun was now massive, towering over Mai. Her muscles visibly rippled under the armor as she pulled back her fist. She glared through a white mane as her fist flicked out, seeking to plant it deep in Mai's stomach. "How did I..." She fuzzily looked down at her body, but the flood of hormones was as overwhelming as everything else. She only growled and threw another punch, a mighty hook lead by the finger guard of her sword. There was a momentary rush of power before she realized she was still shorter than Akane was when using this form.
Her frustrated wail made the water ripple. Remilia's attack only irritated her more. The kick to the back of the knee dropped her as intended, but she barely even felt Remilia's grab. "Let go... you I don't want to hurt." The streamers flicked back at Remilia, but they froze unnaturally still. "Get off... I want your eyes..." The streamers crept closer infinitely slowly to Remilia's face.
Not far from her, a bushy head of green hair poked out from the locker rooms. Mad Maeve's ears twitched in excitement as she watched the fight. Her playmate was here!

Mai felt the moment Remilia sapped the strength out of her, to think it was the ability she designed now being used against her pissed her off even more.
"Stay out of this you fucking flat bitch" Mai roared at Remilia, but her tantrum was wildly stopped by Jun's blows, Musashi was lifted from the stomach blow only to be decked by a powerful hook which smashed her to the ground, creating a cloud of dust and blood from the impact.
As Jun felt the power rush of perfect warrior and Remilia took advantage of the conflict, Mai rose once more. arms thicker than Remilia's waist aimed for Jun's face and the quantum hacker's head. out of the cloud dust, the hulking Mai came out, her hands looking to crush both.
Orgone energy began to concentrate even further, a purple glow could be seen leaking out of Mai's hands, should she grab them with that, it would be akin to putting your head on a hydraulic press.
"Of course" Akane replied upon listening to Sarah's plan, she took her hand as she stood up.
"I'll get you as much time as I can, be careful not to get caught in the crossfire."
Musashi ran towards the fight, she materialized yet another blade alongside her Kaneshige, Akane used Mai's hulking body as a platform in order to jump and cut the streamers threatening Remilia, at the same time, she sliced towards Mai's hand with her Kaneshige blade, looking to stop her sister from crushing the quantum hacker.
To her surprise, Mai did not even flinch, the blade had sliced all the way to the bone, but any deeper than that felt like hitting a solid block of chromium. Mai's hand kept moving forward aiming to crush Remilia, Akane and her blade with a single grip.
"Marie! now!" Akane urged Sarah to make her move, any disruption would fine, as they were in trouble.

In the midst of the chaos, Sarah took out the scroll and began to sprint toward the action unfolding. The sight of Akane stabbing through Mai's hand made Sarah wince slightly, but she continued on toward the hulking Jun. Yelling out at the group at this point would only destroy the element of surprise that Akane was now ruining by yelling at her, but the issue remained. Choosing the left side, which was the most open considering the positions of both Remilia, Akane and Mai, Sarah opened the scroll and let the large beam of light out toward Jun. It was Halloween orange, filling the air with a high pitched scream as it traveled. Those in the way would feel little more than a tingle as it passed through in search of Jun. The scroll in Sarah's hands soon began to crumble into dust, blowing away in the wind created by the fight.

Remilia succeeded in taking some of Mai's strength, but Jun was too strong with the stolen ki to be incapacitated. Worse, Remilia pissed of Mai enough for the Musashi to enter her super form and try to crush her head. At the same time, Jun's whispy streamers were finally aimed at Remilia although the bounty huntress seemed to be resisting her newfound larceny urges. Pinned between Scylla and Charybdis, Akane's intervention was a boon. It was a shame a sword in the arm barely slowed Mai's grab.
It was lucky the last programs she used were in the M folder. Selecting Get_shield took less than a second and the quantum computer turned into a shield that Mai grabbed instead of Remilia's head.
"Mai, stop it. Murder will not help your goddess!" Remilia hoped the default parameters Mai programmed in were enough to stop her from breaking the quantum computer. Though nothing was stopping her from ripping the shield off of Remilia's arm or maybe even ripping off the arm itself.

Mai's fingers wrapped around Jun's skull and squeezed. It felt like Jun had placed her head under a falling elevator, the pressure unbelievable, but she did not die. "You are no longer stronger than me!" Jun broke away from the grip and streamers went wild. They were flying at Remilia from all directions when the beam came ripping through. It pulsed through Jun's body and she screamed, streamers blowing into mere mist. She stumbled, stopping herself from falling on Remilia by luck alone.
Her eyes flickered back and forth every time she blinked, between normal Jun and the demon's alien visage. "...that wasn't meant for the demon in a host!" Jun snarled and flicked out her streamers across the pool, right at Sarah's face. "Mai! We're not done! This is to the death!" Jun flicked a tendril for the pool and all the water was instantly gone. She held out her hand towards the murderous Musashi and the entire body of water appeared above her. It fell like a pulverizing waterfall. "Wanted to keep that..." Jun mumbled in a tone that was not her own. She waved unsteadily on her feet. Somebody apparently thought this would be a good opportunity. Robin came flying from above, propelled into Jun's face foot first. Jun went sliding for the wall, crashing halfway through it. Sunlight pierced little holes around her.
"Remilia!?" She shoved through the rest of the wall in her attempt to turn and look at the small woman, only worrying her more. "How the fuck do I extract that thing?" Robin wondered to herself, stroking her chin as she approached Jun. "I mean, killing you would probably do it, but I'm not really into that." She held out a hand to blast Jun and a tendril of steam flashed out. Robin only felt an absence when it touched her. She held up the stump and stared in horror, but it was too late to stop Jun. Jun grabbed her and began taking. What was left was blasted into the empty pool by an explosion from Jun's palms. Jun stumbled at the force of it, unable to keep her balance. She looked in worry at her own hands. How much power did she now hold!?
Outside, a pink cat scurried through the hallways. This had gone so much worse than expected. She got stabbed in the hand with nothing to show for it! She skid to a halt when she heard voices. She peeked around the corner. There were two rich jokes like all the others at the party, wandering the hallways. She figured they were drunk by the way they were making out in public. They were really into it when she crept closer. It wouldn't make up for her loss, but she was gonna get that guy's wallet. Waiting for a moment of particularly intense attention, Mona jumped, slashing out with her claws. If she did it write, she'd cut right through the guy's pocket and drop the wallet in her lap.

"Then why are you slipping away you stupid bitch?!" Mai replied as Jun broke out of the grip, she then kicked Akane out of the way as she listened to Remilia's words, which only enraged Mai even further. There was nothing she could say that would result in the Musashi relaxing.
"Shut the fuck up! I don't give a shit about that anymore, I will kill her no matter what!"
The shield Mai had created was made out of an extremely durable titanium alloy just like the plates of her virtual machine, but Mai was pressing so hard against it, the shield was starting to turn into scrap, it would only be a matter of time before she decided to ultimately crush it. Remilia was lucky that day, for Jun decided to throw an entire waterfall worth of liquid onto them
"Like hell that would work! YATA NO KAGAMI!"
The mirror materialized out of nowhere as it deflected the waterfall, Mai lifting it with one hand while still restraining Remilia with the other. in the meantime Mai kept listening to Jun's words over and over in her head
"Not stronger than me, Not stronger than me, Not stronger than me, Not stronger than me, NOT STRONGER??!! you cheating fuck, I'll show you stronger!"
Mai let go of Remilia not without trying to break her arm first, she then set both hands over the sacred mirror, releasing her most powerful ability onto it
"PAYBACK RELEASE"
The force of the attack sent the mirror flying upwards, completely overpowering the waterfall, Mai panted heavily as the water turned into a tiny rain, she looked at Jun once again, ready for the second round.
Akane, still unable to calm down her sister, had to think of something, was there nothing she could do to stop her? there was!! Akane dialed onto her virtual machine hoping that person would answer.
"MAI, GOT YOU SOMEONE ON THE PHONE"
Akane shouted from a distance
"Someone on the?- LIKE I GIVE A FUCK!" Mai replied as the call forcefully entered onto her screen.
"So, who were you gonna cheat on me with?" Mai went pale as a ghost as she heard the voice, her perfect warrior almost deflated instantly as the virtual machine detected no will to fight on her part anymore.
"I-I...nobody!! Soon i swear we are just having a good time!!"
"Uh-huh...listen to me, we are gonna have one hell of a talk when you get here you hear me? Akane told me everything, another word I hear from your sister and I'm leaving! God why do you have to be such a slut all the time."
The comms closed, Mai just sat on the floor sobbing as Akane came next to her
"You are a terrible person!!" Mai shouted at her as she teared out a little.
"Shut up, you'll be fine, more importantly, we need to stop her and I need your head in the game"
Mai nodded, still not wanting to get up from the ground.

When the beam of light crashed against Jun's body, Sarah's eyes narrowed when she saw that it didn't banish the demon like she had hoped. Was it possible that the Shattered One was making this more difficult, or was the demon simply harder to banish? Regardless, Sarah saw the streamers coming at her and readied her katana to deflect them. Her eyes flashed a brilliant shade of red as time seemed to slow down for her. Sarah slashed her blade upward to deflect one of the streamers, dashing to the side and executing a diagonal slash to deflect another. Suddenly, her senses saw that a dozen more streamers were approaching her.
"Are you kidding me?!" Sarah angrily asked, unleashing a flurry of slashes to deflect the streamers at a speed that most onlookers would see as only brief flashes of light. Once it was all done, Sarah stood several feet away, her left eye closed and right eye back to its normal shade of green. "That's just...great." She mumbled. Readying her sword once more, Sarah ignored the scene with Mai and took a step forward to be next to Akane, shoving a scroll toward her.
"Here, it looks like one banishment scroll won't be enough. Aim it at her and shoot when I give a signal." She instructed, taking another step forward to be directly to Jun's right. Sarah aimed to cut off Jun's right hand, looking to disarm the anti-healing blade and remove half of her ability to create explosions. If unsuccessful, Sarah would teleport back several feet and reassess the situation.
---
In the hallway, two people who had been successful at the casino earlier that night were stumbling through the corridor, the man in the sharp blue suit being noticeably less drunk than the redhead at his side in the sparkling purple dress. "How could they have cancelled the aucshion?! We totally washted our time!" She slurred, the man holding her up by the arm. "It looks like thieves broke in and started fighting over the urn. Perhaps we should try to recover it ours-" "YESH!" Carrigan yelled loudly, pulling her boyfriend into another makeout session. The two didn't notice the strange cat until the last second, where Sebastian lifted his right leg up and moved to bring it down upon the cat's back. He then pulled away from Carrigan.
"...that cat isn't normal. I am positive of it." He stated, glaring at the pink cat. Carrigan glared and summoned a strange twin-tipped spear, stabbing it into the ground in front of them and summoning a wall of earth that completely blocked Mona's escape route. "...weeeell...how about we...interr...interri...tie the cat down and get information we need!" Carrigan drunkenly raged, sprinting forward to catch the pink cat, Sebastian jogging behind.

Jun managed to break out of Mai's grip, but Remilia was still in there. Her shield, while solid, wasn't stronger than Mai's tremendous strength and started crumpling up from the pressure. It's a strange day when you see several tons of water appear above you and think you're lucky, but that was exactly what Remilia felt when Mai had to focus on blocking the waterfall instead of crushing the quantum hacker's head. She felt less lucky when Jun's provocations made Mai even angrier, but at least that anger wasn't aimed at Remilia.
Focusing on the possessed bounty hunter, Mai tossed Remilia aside with a violent jerk, twisting Remilia's arm enough in the process to produce a loud crunch. Remilia screamed, tears welling up in her eyes, and collapsed to her knees in pain. She looked at her arm, twisted unnaturally and seldom mobile. She looked around through her tears. First, she saw the exit. She then looked at Robin and Jun. Then at Akane who finally managed to calm down Mai somehow. Then Sarah who seemed to be holding off Jun's assault. All these people were far above Remilia's league. Even with some of Mai's strength, she got knocked around like nothing. She had nothing to offer in a fight where people could dodge or shrug off bullets like slaps, so she might as well leave. But we all know she wouldn't.
She resolved to do her best to stop crime back when she first learned about her powers. She wasn't as super as all these guys, but she was still a superhero, not that she would call herself one. She shut her eyes, she clenched her teeth, she forced the tears to stop. If she doesn't think about the pain, it's not there. If she forces herself to act, adrenaline will dull the edge. She pushed a button the quantum computer, careful not to disturb her twisted arm. The shield retracted, though still remaining crumpled from Mai's grip. Luckily it was all superficial damage done to the rim; the quantum computer was fully functional. She pressed a few more buttons and was holding a grenade. She got up, gripped the pin with her teeth and tossed the grenade at Jun.
She knew the grenade couldn't kill her. But it could help wear her down. Maybe they can knock her out. Maybe then the demon can be removed.

Mona yelped when she was stomped on, legs splaying out under her. She sprang back up, hissing and yowling at her attacker, but her ears drooped and her tough act faded when Carrigan pulled out a cruel bident and blocked off her escape route. She turned tail when Carrigan ran at her. She transformed as she ran, outfit appearing on her as her legs grew to take longer strides. "Come on guys, I was just- I was- don't stab meeeeeeee!" Her hand ached and she didn't get the demon she wanted and she wanted to go home! She ran into a side room and realized too late she was entering the pool again.
She slipped on the soaked floor and fell hard, sliding right into Jun's feet. A foot came down on her chest, the second stomping she had taken today. She struggled to get air into her lungs and her claws, painted bright pink, sprang from her fingers to scrape at Jun's stolen armor. "You shouldn't have come back, you idiot thief." Her tendrils flicked out and Mona's fingertips vanished. Mona screamed as claws sprang from Jun's fingers, still a vibrant pink. "What did you do!?" She stared in horror at her bleeding stumps. "I stole them. Just like you do, you wretched creature. Let me show you that power again." Jun struck again and Mona's magical armor was gone.
The metal of Akane's armor changed shape, growing into scales just like Mona's. A cape billowed, flowing like water from Jun's shoulders. "Now get out of my sight." She stepped off the thief and marched towards Mai. On her way, Sarah's ambush caught her unaware, sword sinking into her wrist before she reflexively let off a defensive explosion to blow Sarah away and turned back to Mai. Her wrist bled, but it seemed her hand was still working. "Your girlfriend will never get her chance to kill you. That pleasure belongs to me." A third eye opened on her forehead, the verdant green of the forest, tinged with far less blue and grey than her own. "On your feet! I will not kill a foe who does not stand!" She pointed her sword at the fallen Mai. Mona was in shock behind her. She was... declawed! It was an indignity far worse than her nudity. A permanent part of her was ripped away and could not come back. It felt like a piece of her very soul had been ripped out. Mona glared at Jun's broad back, but there was nothing she could do. Nothing but survive and hopefully find a white mage who could regrow fingertips. She was shrinking back into a cat when she saw Laura lying on the ground in a pool of liquid gold. She looked around, but nobody else was helping her. "It's your lucky day, sugar." She jumped to Laura's side and ripped at her dress. "Huh? Naked girls... I really am dying..." Laura mumbled through a haze of blood loss. "Not if I can help it. You just stay there and enjoy the view, cause this is going to suck. She shoved the makeshift bandages she made out of Laura's dress onto the wound. It only barely seemed to be curbing the tide of blood. "Why?" Laura asked. "I don't like seeing people dying cause of my heists. And besides, I heard your date getting chewed out by her girlfriend. You know, I also have a beachside house." Her grin emphasized sharp teeth and sly charm. Not far away, Remilia's grenade rolled right under Jun's legs. She yelped and flicked out a foot to kick it away, but it was too late. The blast hammered her, making her stumble. Shrapnel scraped bleeding lines in her face and left her on shattered tile. "...I'll forgive you this once." Glaring at Remilia, Jun didn't realize the floor was cracking futher until it collapsed and she fell into the arms of one of Laura's teammates. He was clad in his totally covering white armor, like an insect's exoskeleton, weapon like a giant hedge trimmer made of two chainsaws that closed together wrapping around her midsection. It began to simultaneously grind and compress, trying to get through her armor in two ways. Jun screamed and blood came from her mouth, armor noticeably denting. Her lips pulled up in a sneer and with a single strike of her pommel, she dented his helmet. He fell away, letting her jump back up just as an injured Abital, the cyclops, and the turbaned man entered through the door. "Out apologies, the Akiyama clan is quite a bit more powerful than we expected. Now, what's going on here?" The man grinned and took a swig from his boiling bottle.

Mai looked at Jun grimly, she wasnt getting up despite the taunt of the possesed warrior. She finally ended up taking advantage of Laura's partners, as she was attacking despite Jun not knowing.
Akane, looking for a proper opening in order to use the scroll, looked at her sister
"Are you not getting up? We need your help, also you'd better help Remilia, you got her good."
Mai's sight was still dead set on Jun.
"Oh I'm getting up, as soon as I disable her virtual machine"
Both Jun and Akane had forgot something, there was only one true owner of that armor, and it was neither of them.
-Hacking engaged, virtual machine number two has been set to hibernation mode-
Jun would find Akane's armor, teleporting out, slowly, but surely.
"She has 30 seconds tops with perfect warrior"
Mai said as she stood up, she looked at the guys who just arrived, rather than feeling reassured, she knew those guys only meant she would get stronger, anyone who read a comic with amazo in it would know.
"I'll get Remilia, that Quantum computer would mean lots of trouble should that idiot steal it"
Mai ran towards Remilia as Akane lounged towards Jun, looking to put the scroll right in her face.
As Mai finally got to her she offered to move her out of harms way.
"Sorry about your arm, I know someone who will heal you after this.
Mai scratched her head a little as she looked at Remilia's arm, making the Musashi rather uncomfortable.
"Surely you don't mind if I get my strength back, right? It's not like you can use it now"
She said as she added a nervous laugh.

After the strike hit Jun's wrist, Sarah expected the explosion response and leaped away, the air coming from the explosion serving to push her back farther. She watched as the grenade exploded at Jun's legs, but still proved ineffective. She cocked her head slightly when the Musashi began to teleport away Jun's armor. "Why didn't you do this sooner...?" Sarah asked, mildly annoyed but not showing it. She kept her empty eye closed as she sprinted toward Jun, sword outstretched and her remaining eye flashing red.
Once within striking distance, Sarah would unleash a flurry of blows seemingly instantly, looking to inflict lethal damage onto Jun. I have no obligation to keep this girl alive...and the longer this fight goes on, the stronger she's going to get! Sarah thought to herself, bringing her sword back for one final slash diagonally downward, aiming to cut deep into Jun's body. Sarah's eye then returned to normal, now reddened slightly from the strain using her power puts on it. She steps back, attempting to open a scroll to follow up her strikes with, hoping Akane's attack hit as well.
---
Both Carrigan and Sebastian ran through the door, Carrigan almost stumbling over and bashing her head against the frame as she walked in. She squinted her eyes across the room, seeing the strange would be thief...now naked? And a powerful-looking woman between the two. "Heeeeeeeeeey! Get the hell out of the way!" Carrigan yelled at Jun, not paying attention to the strikes Sarah was inflicting upon Jun. Once Sarah was finished, Carrigan turned to her boyfriend. "Dosh you think I should deal with heeeeeeeeeeeeeeer? Think it's the...demon?" She asked, confused. Sebastian chuckled slightly. "That does indeed seem to be the demon, Carrigan. I'm not sure how we could get it out of her though..." He pondered, looking at the weakening Jun.
Carrigan rolled her eyes. "It's fiiiiiiiiine. I'll get that demon out of her nooooooooow!" Carrigan said, taking her spear and stabbing it into the ground. The ground between Jun and Carrigan would begin to shift, quickly turning into a substance akin to quicksand, before solidifying once more around Jun's feet. "That's goooooooood..." Carrigan muttered, lazily shifting her attention between Jun and Mona. Which one was more worth going after...?

Remilia looked at Mai with clear scorn leaking through her usually stoic mask. She didn't resist when Mai scooped her up though. She pushed some buttons on the QC and grew lighter in Mai's arms.
"There," she said, then she pushed a few more buttons after Mai put her down.
"See if anyone needs this. I cannot use it myself now." Remilia shoved a semi-automatic shotgun towards Mai. Perhaps Akane could use it if the scroll fails, to compensate for not having her super armor. Or maybe someone else would show some interest in it. Or Mai could just toss it away like a child's toy in a fight between gods.

Jun felt herself sinking again when Carrigan stabbed the ground. Who was this new bastard!? She smashed her feet through the ground and stood solidly once more, glaring at the spearwoman. "Do not interfere with my duel!" She roared. Then her armor started to fizzle out, leaving her only with Mona's black scale armor. "What!? No! No! It was mine!" She reached for what she'd keep, the cape billowing behind her. It came out holding something massive and boxy.
"No! My food!" Mona cried before Jun threw the refrigerator at Mai's head. "You despicable creature! This is the punishment you shall receive!" She threw everything her hands found, two couches, swords, a whole fancy knife set followed by a stove, but mostly just trinkets. Jewelry, watches. "Stop it! Stop it!" Mona yelled from the bottom of the pool, but she was ignored. Jun threw until no more came out, hitting Mai with everything there was to throw. In the last second of Perfect Warrior, Sarah came flying. "I'll fell you by your own might!" Jun's third eye flared red and she knew its power.
Sarah's swings seemed normal to her, blocked like she'd block any attack. She sparred with her at unbelievable speeds, sparks flying the only indications their swords were even there to the naked eye. Jun took cuts, some deep, across her torso, but she retaliated. Her blade sought blood on Sarah's head, her arms, her chest. When the red sight faded, she still stood, only slightly bloodied. Her body forcibly shrunk, a wail of anguish coming out as she did so. Coming off the high of Perfect Warrior left her body reeling.
Worse was when both scrolls opened right in her face. The demon nearly entirely left her body, billowing out in a great cloud only attached by a thread. Jun looked out with eyes that were her own. She opened her mouth to form words, eyes tearing up, but the demon snapped back in and flooded her with change once more. "I'm still strong... I can still win..." She staggered, looking for targets.
She could take Akane's insulator suit. Humiliate her. It wouldn't serve any purpose, just petty spite. The demon liked it too. And it wanted to see her body so it could pick and choose what to take. Tendrils lashed for that, but a more important target drew his bow. Abital didn't get a chance to fire his arrow. It landed promptly in Jun's hands and she fired a snap shot for Akane's stomach. "Help me." She half-ordered, half-pleaded. If it struck, Akane couldn't help but find herself infatuated with Jun. Abital stared at his empty hands and a smile spread on his gold-smeared lips. "Why, that is a romantic pairing." He admired.
Hanif rolled his eyes and walked over to Remilia. He put his hands together and when he spread them, a sheet of cloth appeared between them. Another clap and he had a stick. With ease, he made a splint for Remilia's broken arm and clapped a third time. A pistol was handed over to the vigilante. It was clearly no ordinary pistol, pitch black with a triangular barrel. The business end glowed orange and loosed a constant stream of smoke that smelled like wet dog and burnt plastic. "I can only make one of these at a time, and you're good with a gun. Aim for the head." He patted her hand and lunged into combat, summoning up a spear for himself the same way he had done everything else.

"Sorry, I wasn't being myself, I'll correct that now though, be ready to use more scrolls, looks like she still can take quite the beating."- She replied to Sarah, without losing sight of her enemy.
As Jun tossed the projectiles Mai covered Remilia using her body, she had some open wounds and bruises on her back after the attack, but nothing she couldn't cure with perfect warrior. If Remilia paid close attention, Mai was blushing as the objects hit her.
after the barrage, Mai spoke to Remilia again
"Hmm that was nice♥...I mean wasn't! I'll distract her, try to get a shot in, and aim to put her down, people will die by the dozens if we fail"
Mai readied herself for another attack as she charged, looking to get as close as possible before using the shotgun, while she acted some commands on her virtual machine as well.
Meanwhile, Akane was robbed of her insulator suit, leaving her in her gold-colored underwear. Much to her advantage, her early dodge of the streamers made her react in time to the cupid arrow.
Akane covered her body, feeling exposed, but her blushing only carried disgust for the demon and Jun as well.
"How dare you embarrass me like this?!"-Musashi was about rage even further, but a message stopped her in her tracks.
-Virtual Machine no.2 online- Akane saw in the right upper corner of her sight.
Musashi equipped her stolen armor back, she grouped back with Mai as the two attacked simultaneously, with Mai discharging shell after shell of the shotgun into Jun, aiming to get some covering fire for Akane. As the two got close enough, they released their power moves, virtually at the same time.

The storm of blows Jun and Sarah exchanged provided valuable information to Sarah. It indicated that Jun was a competent swordsman...but even with that, she had never used Sarah's own powers before. This experience with reacting at immense speeds allowed Sarah to deliver several blows to Jun's body, none of them being fatal though. Jun had managed to land 2 cuts to her right arm, and one shallow cut to her chest. Sarah backed away from the flurry to see that both of the Musashi were preparing to unleash their ultimate attacks. Tossing Jun's purse onto the ground, Sarah pulled out the last scroll Jun had and glanced around at the two who had just appeared.
Sarah's eyes widened when she saw both Carrigan and Sebastian. Why had these two not fled like the others when the commotion started?! "The Butcher of Atlas Island is here...?!" She muttered to herself, pulling her attention back to Jun. Deal with one threat at a time. Pulling out the scroll, Sarah sprinted forward and waited for both Musashi to finish their attacks before opening it and directing the blast directly at Jun. Hopefully this will end the fight...or Jun might have to be killed after all.
---
"Nooooooooooooo! Get out of my way!" Carrigan drunkenly complained, watching both Musashi and Sarah rush to attack the woman who seemed to be losing powers by the second. "If I can't get the demon..." Carrigan's eyes focused on Mona across the room, taking 3 steps forward and unleashing a sonic boom with the third step, appearing next to Mona and grabbing her by the nape of her neck and directing the twin-pronged spear right for Mona's eyes. "Hehe...this is what happens when shitty little cats try to steal from my b..." Carrigan's speech was interrupted when Sebastian teleported directly to her right, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Now now...you don't need to kill her, Carrigan. Wouldn't want to...scare any of my potential associates, would we?" He asked, giving a warm smile. Carrigan stared in confusion for a second, before opening the fridge that had bounced off Mai and stuffing Mona inside, slamming the door and leaning against the door, pulling Sebastian into another kiss.
"Aaaaaaw...you ruined my fun again! I should be mad at youuuuu!" Carrigan drunkenly said, Sebastian pulling away and straightening his jacket. "Ah, but you love me too much, don't you?" He asked, Carrigan rolling her eyes. Glancing around at the mess, Sebastian looked at a nearby couch and sighed. "It looks like they made quite the mess. One moment, please." Snapping his fingers, Sebastian began to quickly teleport around the room, touching the various objects and rapidly shrinking them down to the size of quarters, soon appearing next to Carrigan with a perfectly wrapped present with a red bow on top. "Here is everything that was thrown out! I believe throwing her in there is sufficient punishment, no?" He asked, Carrigan waving her hands dismissively. "Whateverrrrrr. Just throw the damn thing inside and let's get out of here. I haaaaaaaaaaaate this place now." Carrigan whined. Sebastian nodded his head, opened the fridge door a crack, tossed the present in, and Carrigan slammed it shut behind him. "Be careful opening that! It has everything inside!" He called through the door.

After Mai carried Remilia to somewhere safer, the vigilante took off her quantum computer to make it easier for one of Laura's teammates to apply a splint to her broken arm. The same man also gave her a curious gun. With a triangular barrel glowing a bright orange, Remilia could only assume it was magic enough to loosen whatever grip the demon had on Jun. But not take it out completely, not while everyone was still using lethal force on the bounty hunter.
She tried to aim true like she always had before, but a single shaky hand wasn't cut out for that. She knelt down and created a wall, barely wider than herself and just shorter than her shoulders, and perched her hand on it. She took a deep breath, steadied her vision with whatever willpower wasn't spent on ignoring the pain and waited. The perfect moment when Jun was open, the split second when the crosshairs aligned cleanly with Jun's forehead. Then, she squeezed the trigger.
The Musashis attacks were joined by a bullet from Hanif's gun and whatever strange power it possessed.

Mona froze when grabbed by her nape. Now she was blushing. Only her grandmother picked her up like this! She felt like a little girl again, being scolded for stealing candy. It took the spear being put in her face to stop thinking about angry Spanish yelling and start begging. “Please, I’m sorry, I didn’t know what I was doing, I’ll never steal again, I was drunk, I mean look at me, I’m so drunk I stripped naked, I’ll do any-” Mona’s pleas were silenced when she was stuffed in the fridge. “-just a young innocent country-” Her voice escaped when Sebastian opened the door again to give her her furniture and was muffled again upon its closing.
Jun realized her mistake when Akane’s insulator suit hugged her skin under Mona’s armor. The demon was tantalized. Take her stomach! Take her breasts! Take the gold color and weave it into our cape! It demanded in her skull, but she didn’t hear it. Akane really did have everything better than her. A body like that should have been impossible and yet there it was. She glared with all three eyes as the Musashis charged, raising her sword. “I’ll take it all from your corpses.” Her third eye went red despite the blood that trickled from its corners and her bone-colored ki blazed to life even as it tore at muscles not made to handle it.
Her heart pounded in her ears when she made one single swing, her blade singing in the air as she tried to cut through the Musashi before they could reach her with their attacks. Before she could use her superior speed to carve them to ribbons with more strikes, Remilia fired her gun. The entire room spiked in temperature so sharply that the water coating the floor steamed. A beam of orange flared out at Jun’s face, caught too late by her narrow focus on the Musashis. She screamed and staggered back, smoke flowing from an empty socket. The Musashis struck.
Only now did rainbow scales creep onto Jun’s neck. They were the only thing that saved her from Akane’s sword. Even a piercing attack on the scale of Akane’s fujin no ha just cracked her scales and slid around to rip apart the armor along her flank. However, no scales could stop Mai’s attack. Dust of many colors filled the air, the powdered remains of Jun’s scales. That and a sword that fell to the ground after her were everything that remained after she was struck. The beam of the scroll passed through an enlarged hole in the wall. It wouldn’t take much searching to find the demonic warrior. She had left quite the path in her wake. Collapsed sand dunes, palm trees reduced to mulch wettened by their own internal fluids. She lay at the end of this track of devastation, sprawled in shallow water and shattered chunks of trees. Twisted limbs were barely covered in a tattered mess of scales from the armor, everything underneath like raw flesh with broken glass rubbed in. She took shuddering gasps, blood flecks escaping her mouth with each desperate breath. The demon’s tendrils swarmed en masse, trying to rebuild its host with scraps of wood and anything else that stood near. “You got her.” A voice piped out out of nowhere. Maeve fluttered past, landing next to Jun.
The streamers shied away without touching her. She reached right down and grabbed them. “No no no. Coming with Maeve.” She tugged with her full strength and the demon ripped free, becoming a squirming spirit in her hands. She mimed putting it in her pocket and it was gone. Jun’s entire body jerked as everything she took vanished and she was back in the dress she had started the day in. “Is she broken?” Maeve looked into eyes that saw nothing and listened to her rattling breath. “She is. Fix her, or leave her?” She asked the assorted warriors.

"Now, now, look at what you've done sis! you really overdid it!"- Mai told Akane as she looked at the path of destruction created by the two.
"No...I'm pretty sure that was mostly you"
The two of them followed the trail as they finally found Jun next to Maeve, which promptly removed the demon out of the shattered one's body. Once she asked whether she should get fixed or left alone, Mai just waved dismissively, showing she did not care on the least. Akane however, bowed before Maeve, as she politely pleaded for her to help Jun.
"None of this was her fault, please do help her, If possible we have another friend that needs help with a broken arm as well"
"EHH, I'll be at the bar, nobody is paying attention so I'll just grab whatever I want, yo Maef! let's go out and have some fun later!"
Mai changed out of her armor as she leaned back to her normal self, she thought about Laura once, but then decided to drop it. she didn't want to make Soon angrier than she already was, but she would at least help her out.
"Please heal Laura as well, she got injured a bit badly there"

And with a spectacular finish, the group had managed to defeat Jun. Sarah let out a relieved sigh when she saw Jun laying on the ground, no longer able to fight. Before she could check to see if the demon was banished though...a strange newcomer arrived and...stuff the demon in her pocket. Sarah's expression hardened once more, her eye now returning as she pointed her blade toward Maeve. "You said the name 'Maeve', so I assume that is you. That demon is part of an official HWIC investigation." Sarah took out her ID to show Maeve. "As such, I am required to secure that demon. Hand it over now, and there will be no trouble for you." She stated, keeping her eyes fixed on Maeve. She also glanced at Akane, seeing whose side the Musashi would take in this dispute.
---
Carrigan's jaw dropped when she watched Maeve shove the demon into her pocket. "How...?" She asked, the turning away to walk away in a huff. "You know...I don't caaaaaaaare anymore. Take me awayyyyyyyyyy!" Carrigan said to her boyfriend, who was almost able to grab her...until Carrigan suddenly turned to face Maeve with an angry scowl on her face. "You wasted my tiiiiiiiime!" She shouted, taking out her double-pointed spear once more and throwing it toward the ground between herself and Maeve. Once it struck the sand, the ground began to bubble like boiling water, a superheated line rocketing toward the strange newcomer. Sarah saw the spear fly and widened her eyes. "Not this too!" She said under her breath, activating her red eyes and quickly grabbing Jun, sprinting out of the way of the attack. Carrigan waved as she was teleported away by Sebastian, her spear disappearing along with them. When the line got near Maeve's location, a 5 meter-wide radius of superheated steam and glass shards exploded out of the ground, aiming to tear Maeve apart.

The attacks were a bit too effective. While everything happened so fast Remilia could barely keep up, it seemed the gun Hanif gave Remilia worked better than expected when it came to stunning the thief. It was only the protectiveness of Jun's original demon that saved her from the Musashi's overwhelming team-up attack. The bounty hunter was hurled through a wall in very bad shape.
Remilia went with the rest of the group to check up on her when they ran into Maeve. Seeing Jun in her current state, with twisted limbs and bloody spittle, made Remilia not feel so bad about her arm. Torn between wanting to demand the demon from Maeve so as to protect the world and wanting to help Jun who resisted the demon's control when it wanted to hurt Remilia, the vigilante went with what seemed the more just decision.
"Fix her. Please." Remilia didn't need her own arm fixed despite Akane's request. Mai already said she could get it repaired, and Remilia was sure the nurse at Inazuma could do it too. But her hopes of Jun getting healed were shaken when the two well-dressed people, whom Remilia didn't pay much attention to during the fight with Jun, attacked the fairy.
