"Hey!" The bouncer yelled as Akane rushed past, but he slowly thought about it and looked at the ingot in his hand. If he just told his boss she pushed past him, he got to keep it. And what would he have done about a Musashi? The boss would understand so long as he called it in. It wasn't so bad, really. No injuries, no punishment, and he was making a killing off this gold. And thank God, it wasn't the other Musashi. He flipped open his ancient cell phone and punched in the number of the man sitting just inside.
"Even if they did, not many cops come to this bar." Ryo chuckled at the thought. "The chief comes in all the time." "Really?" "Yes really. You need to pay more attention." The two seemed to have calmed down somewhat, but they were still looking over in their friend's direction, fingers creeping towards their pockets. "No, I just think that guy's causing trouble. We'll handle it if he is." Ryo pulled a strange vial from his pocket, made of swirly black stone with strange gold markings etched into its surface.
Akiyama was even paler for a second as he stared into the air. When Katsuo spoke, he coughed, not his usual pained hack but one of awkwardness, and straightened himself. "Of course. Thank you for being-" He stopped when his phone went off, some bubbly song about a chocolate disco, whatever that meant. "Ugh. Sorry. I have to answer this." He turned away to use his phone.
"You are right outside, what... really? ...oh, I see her. Yeah, I'll handle it. Stay out there and do your job." He turned towards Akane, waving for her to approach. "Sorry, Takashi-san, I have something else to deal with. We can all talk together." He was grumbling through his teeth now, hunched over. He just wanted to play cards. This was way more effort than he was willing to put in today. Jun was similarly displeased, utter defeat in her eyes as she lay on the counter. This was a terrible night. Dates were stupid.

*I guess I never told the bouncer not to call anyone on the inside* Akane thought to herself as that man waved at her, she sighed and got up from her seat.
she grabbed her blades as she walked towards them, it could probably be a trap, but taking a closer look at that Muramasa blade was very well worth it.
As she arrived, she started talking in a derogatory tone before he could say anything to her.
"Don't even bother, Yakuza, I know there is something suspicious about this place and I am not leaving until I'm done with it" a cold stare covered the man from head to toe.
Akane, however, could not stop eyeing the Muramasa every two seconds or so, eventually, she feared it was too obvious so she had to say it.
"That is one beautiful blade you have there samurai, I have never seen something quite like that, take good care of her," she said as she looked elsewhere, a little blushed at that. her tone immediately changed.
"In any case, what do you want from me? surely you won't tell me I am not welcome here huh? or would you rather have the Yatagarasu in here instead of me?" Akane let out a condescending smile as she gripped her katana, it had a bluish glow to it, perhaps it got excited being close to another named blade?
Akane then eyed at the other girl, there was something quite weird about her, of course, she was the odd one out, but perhaps Akane was pushing her luck in here, she was in a hurry anyway so she had to deal with the problem fast, even if it meant giving the elders the wrong results.
"you know, I came here on a hunt, a demon hunt. Earlier I felt some evil aura, perhaps it was you all along hm?" Akane wanted an excuse to fight, taking a monster head or destroying the bar would probably be enough to satisfy the elders for a while and then she could be with Ann sooner but was this woman a monster? or just some hidden worlder in the wrong place at the wrong time? she knew being like this was wrong, but she couldn't help it when her friend was on the line.

Remilia looked at the vial. "That is not anything dangerous, is it? It would be a bad if you hurt yourself before we even started the game." Remilia hoped it wouldn't come to a fight. Not before they learned more about the gambling den in this place. Although, depending on the vial's contents, perhaps this could also end up being a drug bust. Or the vigilante version of a drug bust.
Things were starting to smooth over with the yakuza, but they were interrupted before negotiations could start. But he had to be patient, for in the end it should all be worth it. While the woman approached, Katsuo went back to his sake.
He didn't pay attention to the woman until she addressed him. At Akane's comment, Katsuo looked at Shi. "Thank you. It is a samurai's duty to look after his sword." This woman was strange, but she had a sword that looked fairly well maintained. Surely she couldn't be a bad person. That's what he thought until she started provoking Jun. She was being very disrespectful. But that was not Katsuo's business. In the end, if the two girls went outside for a fight, Shi no Kaze could calm down.

The room suddenly became loud when Akane stormed in and became to make a ruckus with the yakuza. Ash was prepared to stand up and challenge the newcomer...but then realized the place she was in was already linked with criminals. Was it moral to stop a criminal from beating up other criminals? Should she beat up both of them? Why was she talking about Yatagarasu? What is going on?! Ash banged her head onto the table and began addressing the people at the table. "Well, let me know if you guys need help. She seems crazy. And she wants a demon that's here?" She asks the group. She was just here to play cards and beat some yakuza! Could it be possible that the demon is in the sword she was just complimenting?

"Oh come on... don't make me throw you out, maaaaaaaaan. I don't want to deal with this todaaaaaay." The sick man hunched forward to look at Akane. His eyes looked exhausted. He lolled back onto the counter like he couldn't stand, breathing a long sigh. Jun raised a thumb from her side of the counter. Yeah, I'm sick of this shit too. Of course, you started it. She rolled her head to glare at the woman who had just barged in. Great, some asshole who could sense the Shattered One and had a problem with it. "I have caused no harm to you, whatever lays inside me. Let me be." Jun, hand felt her hip, fingers waving near a silver pommel. She could show this woman just what that demon within her could do. The thought of her face when that fancy sword bounced right off her skin made Jun smile.
"It probably wasn't her you sensed. Counting her, that makes four demons in here." Akiyama grumbled, his hand over his face now. "And whatever the hell's wrong with that sword... yeah, there's a lot of things in this bar that have nothing to do with you, hunter." He didn't seem especially threatening in his limp position, a weak voice barely trailing through his fingers. "Three others?" Jun looked around with surprise, trying to distinguish who. This man was a clear Yakuza, and the other young men at the table he came from... a gang of the possessed? Her eyes narrowed into diamon-sharp slits.
"You wouldn't happen to be an Akiyama, would you?" Jun jumped to her feet and wheeled to face the young man. "Yeah? What, you heard the name? Guess it's a bit of an open secret these days. I knew I shouldn't have put any effort into hiding it... waste of-ARGH, what the FUCK lady!?" Kichiro was speared from his seat by Jun's finger extending into a sharpened point and embedding itself into his shoulder. It had retracted fully by the time he hit the ground. The bar tender backed to the very edge of the counter. "I am Jun Li. Your family took my family's fortune. I despise the business, but all the misery in my life traces back to that. You are going to take me to the head of your family so I might finish this."
The sick man gripped his shoulder, but it didn't bleed red. Green, viscous muck bubbled out, smelling like rotten eggs eaten by somebody whose breath already stank beforehand. Jun looked at her own hand, finding the same liquid dripping from the finger she had speared him with. "Hey... what's the sickest you've ever been?" He asked, and Jun clapped a hand to her ear. It felt like a tiny bomb had went off in there! The pain didn't end, and when she removed her hand she found it sticky with pus. She yelled, but couldn't her herself. She tried to approach him, but balance failed her and she toppled, barely catching herself on the counter without smashing out her front teeth. "Ugh. What a day..." Akiyama drug himself back up on the stool and kicked out. Jun was caught in the ribs and fell over with a sharp yelp. An odd noise that could be giggling or just the wind played.
"The vial's only dangerous to people I don't like." Ryo waved it with amusement. "Could you not wave that around in front of civilians? Seriously man, where's your common sense?" Ryou sighed. "Yeah, well you're-BOSS!" Both of them stood bolt upright when Akiyama was knocked over. They only slightly relaxed when his attacker toppled. "I want everybody who's not one of us or this man out of here." The sick man gestured towards Katsuo next to him. The bartender threw him a first aid kit from a safe distance. "Kick everybody who can walk out on the street and get her in back so we can ask a few questions. Get moving." He weakly clapped and popped open the kit. Ryo and Ryou nodded and turned to their companions. "Sorry girls, you have to leave. We'll waive your tabs." Ryo apologetically smiled.

*so your men also have demons, great, more work to do*
Akane was barely thinking how she was gonna approach the situation when Jun impaled the yakuza, things went by fast, but she managed to witness the entire conflict, the technique of that girl was impressive, but she was soft. aiming at the shoulder was not the way to go, even if she wanted to interrogate that man. Immature strategy is the cause of grief. she was downed in seconds.
"No honor I see. I have no sympathy for demons, but that was a low move."
Akane walked towards Yun and then came close to see her condition, the infection looked pretty bad, but her clan could probably send a cure in no time, the Musashi state was just minutes away.
"I'm afraid I also have business with the girl, I'll leave peacefully if you let me take her, otherwise we can settle this as I originally intended"
It would be foolish to take on too many of them without knowing their abilities, Homeostasis would suppress the illness and infection, but who knows what else they could have, and the only reason they defeated that girl was that sneak attack. If they regrouped maybe they could take them out later together. for now, it was better to let them think she still wanted to see her dead.
Akane gripped a smoke bomb under her belt in case the answer was a no. If any of the other Hidden worlders also felt like entering the fight then she would obviously take advantage of that, but without allies, the risk was too high, she was an assassin, not a brawler.
*that samurai...would he not fight for her friend? what about those two girls who were with the yakuza? were they accomplices too?*

Remilia couldn't exactly hear what the people at the bar were talking about, but she could tell something was about to go wrong when the well-dressed woman leapt to her feet. She attacked the sickly man, but he didn't seem too worried. He wasn't feigning confidence either, since the woman suddenly screamed out in pain and Remilia couldn't even tell what happened. But was that an excuse to step in? These men were clearly yakuza and the sickly man clearly did something to the woman. But she is the one who threw the first punch so the man could justifiably claim self-defense. Remilia couldn't justify stepping in, as much as she wanted to.
Luckily, the men gave her an excuse. "I cannot allow you to kidnap that woman. Let her go." She gripped her purse, ready to take her quantum computer out at a moment's notice. She also had her baton hidden under her skirt, tied to her leg, in case she needed it.
The situation was escalating again. This time it miss Li's fault, for she apparently didn't like this family. Katsuo himself became a bit leery when it was revealed they were possessed by demons. But they were still willing to make his life easier... And she did attack suddenly, in a cowardly and dishonorable way. Still, having been a yakuza himself, he knew what would happen to the woman after they were done interrogating her.
This was a type of situation Katsuo didn't like. A conflict was inevitable and Katsuo was sure he would have to pick a side. His own belief in the bushido code was being shaken by the offer of personal benefit. He was still only human. In the end, he found a compromise. Even in selfish pursuit he could show compassion. He knew what side he would fight on.

And within a few seconds, the tension in the room seemed to spike even more. The yakuza who was next to the korean lady had fallen over, seemingly from an attack. Then the korean lady fell over after a few seconds...likely from some attack the yakuza did in retaliation. Wait...who was the villain here?! The lady struck first...but they are freaking yakuza! And what did that assassin lady say about kidnapping?! Ash stood up and pointed directly at Akane.
"You! You are not taking anyone with you!" Ash's eyes then turned to the yakuza near Jun. "And neither are you! If you have a problem with her assaulting you, I will be happy to call the police to pick her up! If you don't want the police called, then let everyone leave!" She declared. Kidnapping was absolutely unacceptable, even if the person assaulted you first! Ash kept her eyes trained on both the yakuza and Akane, ready to react if either of them decided to attack her. Internally...she kinda hoped they did. A hero never starts the issue, after all!

"I am literally going to die if you start a fight... ah, thanks." Kichiro grabbed the warm bowl of soup placed on the bar beside him, shoveling spoonfuls into his mouth. "You have no idea how tempted I am to let you take her... but explaining that to the boss is way more work than dealing with you." He gestured and the twins raised their vials. "Man, I'm sorry. I really hate to do this." Ryo popped the cork. A little black speck hovered out, drawing a low buzz with it. It superficially resembled a fly, but it was too long, its body too flexible, thrashing like a worm in the air. Ash and Remilia wouldn't have long to look before Ryo grabbed it in his hand and squeezed.
With a noise like bone being pulped, the tiny thing seemed to be crushed and black light streamed bewtween his fingers. Change poured through him like a wave. "Maaaaaaan I hate doing this." He complained before he could no longer speak, for his jaw was beginning to sag as his muscles rotted. One eye rolled forward and nearly escaped its socket. His flesh bloated and shone black, body hair turning into short black spikes. He slouched with a hunched back, eyes still living but pained, fingers bubbling with black liquid. Bubbles came off and floated off. One popped on the ceiling and it instantly became ragged and moldy. He waved his hand and flicked a spray of black liquid at Ash and Remilia, low so it wouldn't be lethal.
Ryota opened his vial just the same and a hand, far too large to fit in the vial, let alone whatever else might be in there, reached out to grab him. He calmly let the hand, 8 fingered with at least two thumbs, wrap around his arm, and something pulled itself out. It was like a huge humanoid ape, covered in thick grey-brown hair. It was far stranger than a Sasquatch, shaped wrong all over, its fingers too many, its toes too few, just 2 especially thick toes with hoof-like claws resembling those of an ostrich. Most disturbingly, its forehead bulged out over its face like a massive zeppelin slapped on top of the animal's head, and the face below was entirely human but for its blood-red tone. It faded over Ryota's body and his head bulged into the shape the strange spirit's skull took.
Ryota knelt and popped open the suitcase that had stood by his chair. There were papers and folders as might be expected, but alongside them were two metal tonfa. He raised the batons in a fighting stance. "You know, I actually went to Inazuma for one year, but my parents ran out of money. Shame, too. I think I had potential. Ryo was never a fighter, and Kichiro's Kichiro, but me? I could take you both myself." A dim red aura flickered to life around Ryota and began humming around him in crackling rings.
Shi frittered nervously around Katsuo's head. "Kat? What are we going to do? Should we pick a side?" She was far too torn on this. The yakuza bastard had threatened her darling Kat, and for that, he was going to die. But he had just punished that filthy cow who was trying to take her love away, and she almost loved him for that. How could she make a decision with such mixed messages? "I say... help the yakuza. We'll be safe out of this country. No more attempts at revenge." She sighed. Her own revenge just wasn't happening, was it?
Jun thought equally of revenge from the floor. Her inability to lift her head off the ground didn't stop her murderous rage. Every bit of indignity she had suffered in her life! It was them! The Akiyamas were the ones who set her on the path that lead to her desperately whimpering for sex in fancy bars! Maybe Jenifer wouldn't have turned out the way she did either. "And do not forget that many demons are still enslaved by these figures. We must free them to return to their home realms." The Shattered One reminded her. "Yes... all three here have demons. If I can just land a hit, I can hurt the demons within and weaken them for the others." That was still easier said than done as Jun twitched on the floor.

Akane knew the answer was going to be a no, but she did not fancy the way the yakuza took her so lightly.
-Hq, this is Musashi, I request a nanomachine vial, get my sister off her ass and have her teleport it at my pocket, I want it in less than 40 seconds...tell her its not for me.-
Akane went on to grab Jun, taking advantage of the fight between the two girls and the yakuza, she aimed to set her aside on a safer place, the vial should arrive as long as it wasn't meant for her, requesting backup was truly seen as dishonorable. "don't worry, I'll get you up and running in seconds, hold on for a minute or two, and drink the vial once it appears on my jacket. you want revenge yes? now's your chance."
Akane gave Jun her leather jacket, she then proceeded to join the fray -Virtual machine online -system: slayer type - ID: Akane Musashi -Combat-
Her battle armor replaced the rest of her clothes, she then rushed up in front of Ryota "Those two won't be your opponents, demon. Akane grabbed her wakizashi on one hand and the metal sheath into the other, the iconic Miyamoto Musashi pose adorned her body, she wasn't yet up to her full potential, but she wouldn't let a dropout beat a top student of the Niten Ichi Ryu. "It seems Inazuma Gakuen has really lowered its standards, though I have always thought they teach a rather unintelligible mishmash of things"
she was ready for battle, but she wondered what that samurai would end up doing? the vial would appear anytime soon and they would get the numerical advantage in no time.

The men didn't take kindly to the pair butting in. They released some strange beings out of black vials, like the one they showed off before, and underwent a grotesque mutation. It was more disgusting than anything Remilia saw before and it even made her a bit queasy. But Inazuma's physical training also came with increased mental fortitude, so she didn't let herself be too distracted to roll out of the way of Ryo's spray.
The new girl suddenly ran up and challenged Ryota, and Remilia had to admit she was thankful for Akane's intervention. She used the swordswoman as a distraction to equip the quantum computer and create her trusty Beretta. She aimed it at Ryo's arms and fired three bullets. She wanted to apprehend him without killing him after all, but she wasn't sure how much punishment his new form could handle.
While Akane taunted, Katsuo ran in front of her with his hand on Shi's hilt. "I am sorry, miss, but I cannot allow you to kill these men. I have a very important deal to make with them. I will try to bargain for the life of Miss Li, but I can only do that if they are alive."

"Whoa..." Ash said with surprise when Ryo began to transform before their eyes. She instinctively raised her knee up to kick the table onto its side, fast enough to intercept the strange liquid attack that was sent their way. If it had actually been aimed at their upper bodies, the table would have been useless. "What is that?! It looks like stuff Yuu cleaned out of Martha's room!" She exclaimed, inspecting the now-rotting table. The strange black skin that now covered his body made Ash think punching him would be a bad idea. A confident smile spread across her face regardless, Ash pointing a fist straight at Ryo.
"You have made a grave mistake attacking me, villain!" The muscular doll turned her body to the side, crossing her right arm upward diagonally across her chest while her left arm went diagonally downward as she posed. "For you have just given me the right to self defense! Prepare yourself!" Her smile grew when the air around her fists began to heat up drastically. A small mirage of heat distortion now followed the air around her two fists, displaying how rapidly Ash could heat them up. "Scorching Beam!" Ash yelled as she brought her right arm back and launched a concentrated beam of blisteringly hot heat and condensed air straight at the transformed Yakuza. She hoped to slam him against the wall long enough for her to think of...some sort of strategy.

The makeshift shield was splashed with the black fluid and immediately began to rot through. It drooped and melted in half, mushrooms sprouting from the broken halves. Ryo groaned and drew his arm back, but Remilia's bullets tore through it. "Ow! Come on, it's not like I want to do this! Making pretty girls rot is not my idea of a good time." He complained before he saw Ash's heat wave tearing at him. "Oh come on..." He was thrown back into the opposite wall, smashing a dent into it. His glossy skin blackened further and blistered.
The blisters strained for a second before bursting, spraying the black fluid wildly. The bullet wounds did the same. Ryota dove to the side to avoid any splashing on him, leaving everybody else to deal with it. He rose on the other side of a black splash, stepping over the white mold that began to grow. "Fine by me. It doesn't matter who I fight. They can't beat me." He moved light on his feet, tonfa up to defend his face. He cocked his head when Katsuo came in.
"Well, suit yourself. I'll remove these two." He sprang amidst Remilia and Ash, throwing a backhand at Remilia's gun hand before thrusting a tonfa end at Ash's sloar plexus, perfectly placed to drive the air out of her lungs. He jumped away at once in case black smoke poured forth, smirking as he adjusted his grip on his weapons.
Kichiro watched from a distance, enjoying his soup. His eyes seemed sharper, his posture straighter. Jun glared from below. She couldn't see his face past the soup bowl, but she could imagine the smug face he was making. Maybe he wasn't, but she would interpret it as smug no matter what it looked like. She tried to lift her sword, but just her hand felt too heavy. It was just like when she was a kid. She remembered the recurring ear infections, the pounding pain running through her head while she couldn't bear to move. But that was decades ago. She hadn't had an ear infection since she had her tonsils removed. She couldn't stop the yakuza as he knelt and plucked her sword away, as easy as taking a can off a shelf.
He put it on the bar counter, a cliffside hundreds of feet out of her reach as far as she was concerned. "You stay here. It would be a pain to find where you crawled. Keep an eye on her I guess." He waved to the bartender, who sharply nodded. Akiyama lurched slowly towards the battle, wandering close but not entering the fray. Who to target? He would have to make a decision. One didn't have any especially vile diseases lurking within her. Something was wrong with her body. The other two were valid targets. He would just have to see how they did to pick the first.

Akane let Ryota go past her., her full attention was now focused on the swordsman in front of her, she wondered just how much more was karma gonna get in her way.
"You are trying to negotiate with the wrong person, I am Akane Musashi, and I will not stain the name of my clan just to please a ronin like yourself. I am disappointed Samurai...no, Yakuza. siding with some lowlifes for personal gain couldn't be further from the true way of the warrior, meditate on your mistakes as you return to the ground."
Akane noticed some the black fluid headed towards her just as she finished speaking, she blocked the parts that were aimed at her with her wakizashi in a single swipe, never keeping her eyes off from the samurai. the material seemed to violently evaporate over the blade since it was blessed. *seems its about time I get started as well*
Akane proceeded to rush towards the samurai with great speed, her movement flowed like water without making a single noise, her sprinting position was very close to the ground, in an instant she jumped forward with multiple flips in the air as she sliced downwards at him with both the blade and the scabbard, taking advantage of the momentum. Akane was decided to keep a maximal amount of pressure on the warrior.
as that happened, the vial finally appeared on Jun's new jacket

Remilia flipped over another table and pulled Ash behind it to avoid the bile bursts, then kicked the table at the downed Ryu. She looked around for Ryota, who already jumped inbetween the two vigilantes. She fired a round, but all she hit was a bottle behind the bar after he knocked her hands away. While he tried punching Ash, Remilia used her inazuma training to do a roundhouse kick, but again she missed when he jumped away, partially because she was slowed down by her skirt. She didn't let that stop her from aiming at his legs and attempting to fire the 10 remaining bullets in her magazine.
Akane's words stung, but Katsuo couldn't back down so readily. "I admit it is not the most honorable action. But in the end, it will be for the best."
Katsuo draw Shi no Kaze and got ready for Akane's rush. He held her in chudan stance, unsure of Akane's combat style. When she jumped up, he nodded. So it's misdirection and speed. A beautiful and graceful movement, yet eye-catching and energy consuming. If it was all like that, he could handle it.
Katsuo focused his chi into his arms, raised Shi to stop the wakizashi and blocked the scabbard with his forearm. His chi moved down into his leg as he tried to kick her away and follow it up with a downward slash.

Seeing her opponent get smashed into the wall, Ash stood proudly with her arms at her sides. "Hah, that wasn't even a challenge! I suggest you stay down, vil-" Her 'heroic' speech was quickly interrupted by the bile bursting from Ryo's body, followed by Remilia flipping over the table and pulling her down to avoid the attack. Unfortunately, Ryota joined their fight and punched Ash directly in the solar plexus, making Ash gasp for air. The sheer amount of muscle that was in her upper body cushioned the blow significantly, but it was still painful. However; she didn't cough up any of the smog in her lungs. Ash had learned that she could regulate her lungs to only spew out the gas voluntarily, mostly to keep her breath from being utterly horrible for everyone in the room.
"Uuuuuugh..." Ash moaned as she sucked in air to replenish her lungs. She confidently frowned at Ryota, standing up and generating heat around her fists once more. "Alright, let's try this again! Come on, big guy!" Beckoning Ryota over with her right hand, Ash allowed Remilia's bullets to be fired before she taking off toward their new opponent. She brought her right fist back and tried to swing upward to punch his chin with her left hand, then taking a step forward and trying to punch him straight into the ground with her right aimed at his own solar plexus.

Ryota seemed to be one step ahead of his opponents. He leaned his head to avoid Ash's uppercut even as his arm raised to block her straight. The force of the blow pushed him across the floor, but he seemed unharmed as the tonfa absorbed the force. Remilia started firing, but Ryota didn't even sweat. He seemed to dance as he approached through the bullets. His legs propelled him in little hops and steps to avoid each shot. The last bullet passed right between his legs and he was upon Remilia. "You're out." He observed, bringing his baton down at the top of her head.
Ryo slowly shuffled back from the other side of the room, nowhere near as graceful as his twin. Every step was more a lurch, a rise and fall like a wave breaking on shore. He plodded up towards Ash. "Look, can't you just go? You're going to get him all wound up. We can find a different bar. Ignore the scale girl, okay? It's a shame, but Akiyama-san can vouch for her to the boss." He held out his hands defensively.
Shi hissed when Katsuo stepped into battle. Maybe it was worth it. They were winning a meal ticket to safety. She could live her life unperturbed, far away from anybody who wanted to hurt her Shi. And better yet, the woman who tried to take Kat was going to die. But still... she felt this other sword. It was a special sword, a sword like her. She felt cold running through her in waves. Other swords disturbed her. Kat might use them. Other swords with intelligence were worse. Kat could love them. She had to cut down this sick woman and break her blade.
White fog poured from her sheath the moment Katsuo slid her free. A distant scream seemed to come from everywhere at once. The lights dimmed and flickered, making faces in the fog, skulls and women in pain. Shi felt the other blade clash into her, shaking her core. Blade to blade contact was filthy. The other sword had to be punished when she was done with its master. Tendrils of fog shot up past Katsuo, twisting into piercing drills to stab through Akane's torso. A voice came from the fog, colder and darker than interstellar space. "I'm going to turn you inside out and roll you in salt." It hissed in both of Akane's ears.
The jacket was a little heavier now. Jun noticed little differences like that when she could barely move her own weight. There wasn't a moment's hesitation. What could she possibly lose? The Yakuza would torture and kill her if the people fighting them didn't win. She fumbled for the vial and managed to pulled it from the pocket. It was harder to pull the cork off. Her fingers refused to grip properly. She put it up to her mouth and sank her teeth into the rubber stopper. Humiliating. Like drinking from a baby bottle. A sharp yank and she spat out the stopper to pour the liquid down her throat. It could be mistaken for water, but obviously there was more to it than that.
She waited for a result, but nothing came. Her head didn't weigh less, her limbs didn't regain their strength. It was this that made her realize what her dulled senses had blocked. This vial was clearly something modern, technological. Some hyper antibiotic or nanobots or something along those lines. This attack wasn't from anything that could stop. She had known it was a demon, but not drawn the connection. It wasn't harnessing disease within her bodies. Her ear infections were bacterial, the culprit long gone. It was just supernaturally forcing the old symptoms upon her.
She looked up at that cliffside of a counter far above. Just what soup had this Akiyama been drinking?

Akane was surprised at the style of block, it hinted at a couple she knew about, but it wasn't something she would do, which made it all the more effective.
she noticed as the kick and slash were dropping on her. Akane let herself open to the kick on purpose as Katsuo would find kicking Akane was more akin to kicking a block of steel. needless to say, the armor was absorbing the impact. 20 points were registered on Akane's Virtual machine
*20?? I see he is not an ordinary human *
Akane dropped the wakizashi scabbard as her Kaneshige now became unlocked, getting violently expelled from its sheathe right into Akane's hand, the blade began to glow in a blue tint as it gave a sigh of relief "ughh is it morning already? WHAT THE?!!" the contact between the named blades shattered the surrounding glassware.
As the fog began to appear, Akane took some distance from Katsuo by using some rather unnatural hops, the faces and skulls did not intimidate Akane, but made her smile all the more. Drills of fog came from the blade as it threathened to turn her inside out, Akane smirked at the proposition and swung at the attack, Kaneshige replied at Shi's statement with a "no thanks, kid" as it simply began collecting drills and finally sent them right back from where they came. "off you go" the blade added as it repelled the attack. Shi might have felt she just went through a revolving door on that one. If Katsuo picked on quickly, he would notice the Kaneshige actively tried not to harm Shi.
"Now i wonder why you did that?" Akane looked at her blade with a piercing look. the masamune's glow faded a little as if embarrased.
Akane turned away from Katsuo as she grabbed a seat from the bar and sat down, her Kaneshige was put back into its scabbard.
"The fight is over, my blade doesn't want to fight yours. Kaneshige is a good 150 years older than any Muramasa, so i'm guessing it doesnt want to fight with her little sister...or perhaps you arent a bad person after all?"
Akane looked at the ceiling while lifting the front legs of the chair back and forth, wondering what to do next, she finally sat properly and pointed at another seat for Katsuo.
"I never thought i would say this, but i think we can strike a deal, how about this, join my faction as an associate and i will stop getting in your way " Akane gave a warm smile at Katsuo.
"unlike other factions, we dont request anything from you and you can come and go as you like. as long as you fight monsters and evil doers we are happy to provide you with resources and help. you can profit and still keep your honor. i might even convice the other two to leave as well."

Akane's armor was tougher than Katsuo imagined. Or was she simply stronger than her frame led on? Katsuo wasn't sure, but his foot was throbbing as if he kicked a wall. Furthermore, she brought out her own special blade and locked blades with him for a few moments. He was glad Akane then hopped away because he wasn't sure he could hold his footing properly for long until his foot fixes itself.
While he rested, Shi went on the offense. Her mist specters didn't seem to faze Akane at all, however. She and her sword also didn't seem particularly impressed by mist drills, repelling them effortlessly. Still, Katsuo wondered why they didn't sent the drills back at him if they could move them around so easily.
The answer, as it turned out, was that they probably didn't want to kill him. Instead, Akane wanted to talk. She sat down into a chair with absolute calm despite the skirmish nearby that sent bullets, wicked slime and waves of heat flying around everywhere. Not quite trusting her or the fight going on around them, Katsuo stayed on edge and ready for an ambush even after his sheathed Shi no Kaze and sat down across from Akane.
He listened to Akane's proposal. "That is... A generous offer. However, I already have enough resources to survive if I live frugally. And the reason for our skirmish just now is that I received an offer that will let me leave Japan free of charge, thus ending the persecution I have endured from various yakuza families out for blood. Why would I instead accept your deal?"
Remilia knew it was possible for denizens of the hidden world, but she never expected to see someone dance around her bullets with such ease. Even though she spent some time at Inazuma, she didn't even dream of being able to do something like that herself. Worse yet, Ryota managed to get get close to her and swing at the top of her head. She of course wasn't fast enough to avoid someone like him, but she lifted up her pistol above her head, side turned toward the baton and hands behind it like she was pushing it away. That desperate defense blunted the damage from the baton as it was her relatively soft hands that ended up connecting with her head. Unfortunately, the hit also managed to push in the side of her pistol's barrel a bit. It wasn't much, but it was enough to stop it from firing any bullets again.
She didn't need her spare magazine anymore so she tossed both it and the pistol at Ryota to buy herself at least a fraction of a second to get away.
"Ash, make Ryota stand still for a second, please!" Remilia yelled over to her companion. She then hopped back a bit and turned the gem on her hand slightly to the side. It turned red and a laser beam turned shot out from under it. She pressed a key on her quantum computer and tried pointing it at her opponent. If she managed to get the beam on him, a single press of a button would infect him with the Spambot Virus program, cutting his speed by a third. Then aiming it at him again would be easier and she could weaken him by a third with the help of her Worm Virus program.

Ash frowned when she saw both her attacks were blocked by this man with the strange weapons. Why was he so fast?! Her attention was pulled away when Ryo began talking to her. "Get him wound up? You were the ones to start attacking us!" Ash declared, taking a step to the side as Ryo approached, knowing he could explode more gunk at them if he got too close. "If you wish to stop this, yakuza, do as I said in the beginning! Let everyone leave on their own terms!" She said proudly. Hearing Remilia give instructions, Ash gave a thumbs up and darted for the other twin.
"Time to slow you down!" Ash yelled at him as she began focusing her powers upon the man's body, trying to steal heat away from his legs to make them stiffer. If she got close enough, Ash would grab his right arm and try to pull both arms behind his back. She had no idea what Remilia was planning to do...but hopefully it would be effective!
