Ann should have known, her presence there was something quite out of the ordinary. Still, she had to keep going somehow, the fact that some % was added to her quest log meant she was on the right track.
"I already told you, I did nothing to him! he suddenly collapsed and began to dry up! thinking about it he mentioned the word curse before dying but that was it!"
she tried to keep her calm and avoid the conflict for as long as possible, her points were still piling up as they spoke, so it all was to her advantage.
then, she noticed sound coming from the man's earpiece, she couldn't quite grasp what the other guy said, but she was aware something happened. Ann knew he wouldn't be able to stick to her much longer if the message was important.

For a moment Percival’s eyes became narrows slits, locked on Ann as he was about to decide if killing her was an option. These dark thoughts were interrupted by Gianni’s warning. The Old Mercenary posture and expression changed, from open hostility to surprise. He gathered his thoughts and finally made his decision. -GODDAMN!- He shouted as he rushed towards the doorway. He gave a quick glance over his shoulder while off-hand pointing at Ann. -You stay put, lass! I haven’t finished with you!- His duster fluttered behind him as he rushed towards the other side of the massive White Jade formation, leaving the Virtual Warrior behind him. As he ran around the circumference of the Tomb outer wall he placed his fingers into his sealed pouch once again. Oil-like liquid coated his digits when he took it off and with it he painted his blade, which started glowing with a soft golden light. He muttered a prayer between his teeth hoping that Gianni could handle himself for enough time to reach him.
Meanwhile, the Jiangshi started moving closer and closer towards the Arachnid Archeologist. Now that the creature was nearby Gianni would be able to notice more about it. It was wearing dusty and heavy clothing, not suited to the desert climate, it was some kind of official uniform, either some kind of elite guard or court member. The circular hat was equally old and worn out, but it didn’t match the colors or style of the rest of the attire. The paper charm, such a classic when it came to the Jiangshi look, was missing. The skin of the creature was dry, like the bottom of a river during a drought. Cracks covered every inch of the parchment-like skin, expanding like dark crevices on the dusty brown complexion. Strands of desiccated and rigid hair fell from underneath the rim of the hat, covering parts of the face, which was covered by a featureless white porcelain mask, curiously spotless when compared to the rest of the clothing. The being advanced in hops, its legs were closely stick together, as the raggedy pants had several straps crossing over from one leg to the other, almost like a straitjacket.
His arms, stretching forward were also irregular, as instead of human jerky they were covered in some kind of sculpted mineral, shaped like arms. It could be some kind of hardened clay or something akin to it. The artificial limbs even had articulations, but it was clear they were locked in place, maybe because of age or some kind of weird design choice. The creature kept advancing with hops, it was agile for something looking over 1000 years, but nothing super human, or even barely human, just slow, meticulous hops with surprising balance. Gianni’s attack was more than successful, his foot connecting right into the being’s chest with a disgusting crunch and a puff of dust coming out from the clothes and the now partially pulverized ribcage. Yet, even with the imprint of his foot clearly noticeable on its chest the creature kept moving forward, arms aimed at Gianni. Then it happened. A strange metallic sound echoed in the corridor and both artificial arms shot forward towards the Arachnid Archeologist. Seeing this attack, the memory of the truck, filled with powerful fist-sized indentations made quite a lot of sense.
As this attack was flying towards Gianni, each fist as fast as an arrow, linked to the main body by green stone chains, Percival was just reaching the side of the Tomb in which the doorway was located. -I’m coming laddie! Kept it together!- He shouted through the commlink, glowing sword in hand, his boots leaving deep imprints on the dusty, almost desert-like ground. -Don’t get close to it!- He added, remembering the fearsome energy draining powers of the Jiangshi. He saw many bounties being knocked out by the Jiangshi his colleague used, and he didn't want to imagine what they would do to Gianni, as Percival thought that the skinny scholar didn’t look like having a lot of Life Energy to spare.

Gianni pushed off the Jiangshi, wincing at the feeling of pulling his foot from his chest cavity. Out of everything he had fought, it was always the undead that disturbed him. It was at least partially because he couldn't get over destroying old bodies. They were valuable scientific material forcing him to destroy them. He landed in the doorway, detaching his threads from the roof to free them up. He looked back at the hopping vampire just in time to see its fists flying forward at him. Gianni dove backwards, rolling back out into the sun and slipping behind the wall to hide.
What the hell? Is it a robot? A golem? Part golem? Like a magical cyborg? Was that a thing? Is that a thing? Gianni peaked back into the doorway at the decayed monster. "I'm going to try to lure it into the sun!" He spoke into his com link, stepping back out, keeping back far enough to dodge its extending arms again. He was quick enough for it, at least if it didn't have something else.

Ann ran after the man, making sure she left enough space between the two so that he wouldn't feel pursued, she was light on equipment but still, a ballistic vest surely slowed her down. As she came around the white stone Ann noticed the man getting close to the entrance of what looked like an underground location. it was obvious this was the place the coordinates were pointing at. shortly after the other guy she previously saw came out, the man was at a mid-distance from the swordsman and still somewhat far from her. Ann noticed the other guy began peeking back into the tomb as if waiting for something or someone to come out, this took her by surprise as she thought the 3 of them were the only ones around.
*what are they up to? did something happen on the inside?*
Ann slowed down her pace to see what were the two of them waiting for.

The Jiangshi kept advancing, seemingly without the intent of stopping, it inclined its back for a moment as the fists retracted back. Bending down exposed some kind of primitive reel mechanism sprouting from behind his shoulders, one for each fist. It was surprisingly fast, resetting the artificial limbs into their original location. The creature stopped a meter away from the doorway, still in shadows. His head started gradually tilting to the side, accompanied by a bone-chilling clicking sound, as if his neck was cracking with every miniscule movement. It looked less like a human movement and more like the dial of a safe. Once the head was 90 degrees to the right the monstruos being unleashed a terrible wail, not an attack, just a terrifying vocalization, a grotesque and frightful war cry, muffled by the white mask covering its mummified features. The arms, already set for another attack, cracked and split into 4 parts each and instead of shooting directly at Gianni he aimed them upwards.
The pieces weren’t totally split apart, as under the midday sun it was easy to see thin metallic filaments connecting the 4 pieces, opened like a fan. If this landed on somebody they might be sliced thinly enough to be served in a deli run by Hannibal Lecter. As both arms were falling directly over Gianni, Percival rushed to aid him, only managing to reach one of the two, that were falling in opposite angles from above. -Dodge laddie!- He shouted as he raised his shining sword. The Old Mercenary closed his eyes and placed his hand on the fuller, right over the crossguard, almost as if he was praying. His voice became hoarse and ancient, as if something was speaking through him, each word reverberating with ancient wisdom and echoing inside his throat. A soft and gentle golden light surged from his blade and covered him in an equally bright aura. He raised the tip of his blade pointing at the falling attack and with an even stronger voice, one that raised dust around him he shouted. It was like several voices joined with him, older voices, filled with enigmas and mysteries of life and death.
The light coalesced into a golden translucid shield construct over him. One of the falling arms clashed against it, sparks flying when the sharp filaments tried to cut through the phantasmagorical fortification. Hopefully Percival reduced the danger on Gianni’s life by half.

Gianni cringed when the abomination's scream filled his ears. His eyes followed the movements of the arms, uncertain why they were aiming up until they split apart. He didn't need to be told to move by Percival, his mind already running. He didn't know how far to the sides it went, or how far behind him. Only one location was logically 100% safe. Gianni ran forward, darting past the hopping zombie. He rushed right into the tomb, putting its ceiling safely overhead. He quickly flicked a few threads over the entrance at the Jiangshi's torso level to keep it out if it attempted shambling back. "Percival, it's vulnerable!" He didn't really know the old man's powers, but now the monster was stuck outside of the tomb with the sun. It probably didn't matter exactly what they were.

"what the hell is that thing??!" Ann exclaimed as she saw the monster screaming while trying to kill the two men. the distance between her and the encounter was somewhat far and she knew her handgun wouldn't be as accurate, and even if she were to land a shot it would probably do very little. *I have to help them!* Ann thought as she recalled with fear at what happened to the guide. Ann thought about getting a larger weapon, and she knew there was an M16 listed in her shop, but time was of the essence. *maybe this thing can recognize a voice command?*Ann spoke trying to get a reaction out of the machine "shop!" - the VM shop screen actually popped up to her surprise. *yes!* "weapons- buy M16"20 points were reduced from her count the moment she said those words. a code below read the following: * * The rifle appeared right on her hands, the creature was dead set in killing the swordsman, and the questions would be for later, she took advantage of that and began shooting at the creature with her rifle in small bursts, trying in multiple zones like the limbs, the shoulder, and the head. she couldn't afford to make a mistake and hit the man. As she did that, she began to slowly walk towards the target getting closer and closer, hoping she could eventually get close enough to use automatic fire, the loud bang from the weapon filled the area each time she pulled the trigger, this was the first time Ann ever tried to kill something and it somehow felt right. Ann shouted at the two: "Ill distract that thing! try to get an opening from that!"Ann hoped for the best, but she knew from her wisdom stats the life choices she made were often pretty bad.*I guess this is my life now*

The arm that Percival blocked bounced back after hitting the spectral shield the Old Mercenary created. The other one, the one Gianni dodged fell over a boulder, shredding it into pieces. Percival rushed towards it, planning to use his blade to jam the chain into the ground. -Dagnabbit! This thing is fast.- He proclaimed as he failed to do so, the arms already retracting back. The Old Mercenary heard Ann’s questions, but he couldn’t spare a second to answer them, or push her away, so he decided to focus on the problem at hand. As the chains were reeled in, the creature neck returned to its upright position, with the same mechanical rotation as before, but instead of staying there it continued until it tilted to the opposite side, just as the chains finished retracting. The arms of the creature started spinning at shoulder height, making the whole thing twist like a drill. -This isn’t good.- Percival muttered between teeth as he readied his blade with another coat of the strange shimmering oil he carried on his duster’s inner pocket.
His blade shone again, emitting a radiant golden light. Percival prepared himself to block, but the creature’s attention was diverted from him, as Ann peppered it with bullets. For a moment the Old Mercenary looked at the Virtual Warrior with a mixture of surprise and confusion. -Where the hell did you get that gun from lass?- He pointed at the M16, that wasn’t on her person moments before. Percival would have lost his chance to attack, but Gianni’s shout got him out of his stupor. -Right away laddie!- He shouted, charging towards the Jiangshi, that was getting ridden with bullets, not showing any particular discomfort as it meticulously changed his arms angle to aim at Ann, who was blasting him. Percival, taking advantage of the distraction plunged his blade up to the hilt through the creature’s side. His muscles tensed underneath his duster, his face went red from the effort, as if the creature was too heavy to be moved. Between pants he talked, once again the ancient voices echoing alongside his own, even more impressive than before, with him being right besides the doorway.
Beaduléoma Sylfum Tír
The radiance of his blade once again extended over his body, forming a bright aura. Once again he talked, similar in tone, but with different voices echoing alongside his. The aura around the blade slowly mutated as he spoke.
Fáel Fíacail
Suddenly a ghost apparition surged from his sword, the phantasmagorical head of a wolf, with its fangs tightly shut around the Jiangshi chest, golden teeth piercing the dusty exterior reaching the crunchy center. -C’mon you damned thing.- He talked between short breaths as he pulled again, this time being a bit more effective, managing to drag the creature into the sun. The mere contact of the solar rays started to dismantle the mummified tissue into dust, but before it was completely destroyed, the Jiangshi managed to launch a single arm in Ann’s direction. It was moving roughly at the same speed of an arrow. -CAREFUL LASS!- Percival, even while doubting Ann’s story, still had a noble heart under his old skin and scars, shouting a warning to her as the arm was launched forward, spinning like a drill.

Gianni jumped when gunshots rang out. It didn't relax him by much when he realized it was the Jiangshi being riddled with bullets and not Percival. He watched Percival's work, interest drawn again. The hunter didn't have the raw, untamed strength of his former companions. Aaron or the werewolf would have just ripped it in half with brute force. Instead, he seemed to channel some sort of magic through his sword. Gianni would miss that. They were both uncomfortable traveling companions, but they would have handled this problem easily. Thankfully, the sun did its work quicker than they ever could, corroding the vampire like cartoon acid.
However, before it totally collapsed, Gianni saw its first shoot at their new helper. He made a snap decision, flicking out a string to latch onto it. He hoped to stop it, but he had failed to take into account a few things. One, Gianni was very small. Two, the first was moving very fast. Three, neither of the first two would have mattered if he was on solid ground he could use his powers to cling to. Unfortunately, the ground was a mix of sand and pebbles. Taking a few rocks with him, Gianni was yanked off the ground, spinning behind the fist. Hopefully he slowed the fist a little, but that thought had left his mind as he was drug along by it, regretting his hipocracy along the way. He had been so hard on Aaron for his impulsiveness and look what he just did!

The flying arm came after her like a javelin towards its prey, but the speed was lessened by unknown means, Ann took that opportunity and barely managed to jump aside as the flying arm went past her, had they not intervened she would have probably been dead by now. Ann clumsily fell on her butt as the arm finally crashed to the ground, breaking into bits that ricochetted everywhere. a victory screen flashed before her: the VM displayed: for the first time her full character screen appeared. her level and traits were displayed as well as her current level progress "*100/300 huh?* well it's not that bad."
Ann let out a sigh of relief as she got back on her feet, she then walked towards the two men. "that was close!, see?! i told you i was innocent! what the hell was that thing!!?" she then remembered what the swordsman asked her before. "Oh right, about my weapon, that's my special ability! I can get weapons and other cool stuff out of nowhere. neat right?!" she continued as she rested the gun on her shoulder "i think we started on the wrong foot, my name is Ann, who are you guys?!"

Percival silently did a gust pose as the enemy in front of him disintegrated. A strange smile appeared on his face, as if this small victory brought back joyful memories of his past. This short moment of happiness was interrupted once he realized that Gianni was on the floor, surely a bit scratched by being dragged over the hoarse landscape. The Old Mercenary placed his sword back into his scabbard, crouching to meet the Arachnid Archeologist. -Are you okay laddie? Hou will get my head in a pike if you end up hurt.- He added, helping Gianni to stand up. -Please try to avoid unnecessary risks from now on, I’m hired to do that for you.- Percival was talking in an almost paternal tone, to the point he even swept some dust from Gianni’s clothing. As he finished helping his comrade he turned around to reply to the avalanche of questions coming from Ann, as he realized what kind of situation he was currently in. -That was a Jiangshi lass, you might know them as Chinese Vampires, nasty fellows.- He pointed towards the direction the guide buggy was in and then to the body besides the truck in front of the doorway. -They dine on your life energy and leave you a dried up husk.-
-That seems like an useful skill to have.- He commented upon hearing her second question, but soon a shadow of annoyance and frustration crossed his battleworn face. -I know a very annoying asshole who can do the same, I hope you aren’t related to him…- He glared at Ann. -Are you a relative of that psychotic asshole of Degiraz? Because if that’s the case you better leave right back from where you came. Last thing I need is a encore of what happened in Turkey last year...- Percival was referring to Falken Degiraz, a Cyborg Mercenary/Assassin who was able to summon weapons from a pocket dimension. Then it came her third question. -I don’t give my name easily lass.- He replied. -Much less to a complete stranger who just happened to stumble into the same cursed location we were sent to investigate.- His glare was strict and stoic, but suddenly it got softer. -But I’ve been in this game for too many years and damn if this hasn't happened to me before.- He pointed at the tomb. -This kind of place tend to get Hidden Worlders together, this is clearly one of those LCE phenomenon the Japanese Bureau classified.- Percival was talking about a “Localized Concentration Event” (Colloquially known as Shonen Effect) in which the existence of a powerful individual or charged location with Hidden World origins tended to attract other Hidden Worlders.
Finally, after the explanation, Percival caved in. -I bet no matter what I say you will try to get into the tomb, so it’s better for you to follow us.- He turned to Gianni for a moment. -If you allow it, as you’re in charge laddie.- Then returned to looking at Ann. -I’m Percival Abefrawc, member of “Ao”, the Chinese Branch of the Bounty Hunter Association. Pleased to make your acquaintance lassie.- He deeply bowed, less eastern etiquette and more medieval western protocol.

Gianni jumped onto his feet without pushing off the ground with his hands. Impossible to humans, easy to him. He blushed when Percival patted him off like a child, skin turning from lightly purple to a deeper shade. He knew he was impulsive there, but was he supposed to just let somebody get smashed? He took a few glances at Ann, seeing her better than before. Grey hair, grey eyes, like steel. He didn't know who Degiraz was, but she didn't look especially dangerous. Of course, his conception of what looked dangerous had been skewed.
"If Percival is okay with it, you can come. But first, empty your pockets and tell us exactly what you're here for. No lying. I'll know." Gianni stared suspiciously, looking for any signs of hiding spots on her clothes. He suspected she may be an old fashioned tomb robber, here to snatch valuable grave goods. It was a serious problem to consider in his profession. His claim of being able to tell if she lied was, well, a lie of its own. If he attached a thread to her, he could hear her heart rate change, but 1. that was rude to do without permission and she would certainly notice if he did it and 2. that wasn't exactly reliable anyway. He would just have to rely on her honesty.

Ann chuckled a little at the sight of Percival patting the dust off the other man, the fierce warrior image she had of him vanished for a second. The other guy getting up in an unnatural manner, however, made her a lot more uncomfortable now.
The swordsman proceeded to explain about the monster, and some other stuff she didn't fully understand.
-"vampires are real??!...no I don't know anyone named Degiraz, I didn't even know there were other people with abilities like mine"
When Percival finally gave his approval her eyes shone a little, she was finally gonna be able to start her quest, and she even got herself a party! That was if the other man accepted her.
-upon hearing his question Ann answered truthfully.
"I came here to gather data, truth be told nobody really sent me here, I have an AI within my body that shows me quests and then I take them until I know more about my own ability I'm afraid I'll have to comply to wherever it sends me."
A sudden thought then came to her mind, those two were the first people who seemed to know something about her abilities, and apparently, the rabbit hole went much deeper than she ever would have expected, perhaps they could help her uncover more about her abilities. Ann wanted to join their faction, but asking right there would be too reckless, what's more, she didn't know if they would make it out alive out of there. She nearly got killed at the entrance after all.
*Oh well, if we survive this asking for a job must be a lot easier* Ann thought to herself.

-Ooookay… that’s a new one.- Percival whispered upon hearing Ann’s origin story. The Old Mercenary looked at the sky, seeing the sun above them, covering his eyes to protect them from its radiance. He then looked at Gianni, speaking loud enough so both him and Ann could hear him. -We should make a camp here and drag those things out, we don’t have any clue how to destroy them without the sun, it would be for the best if we can coordinate hit n’ run tactics to bring them out and drag them to the sun.- He glanced at the sky again. - Mmmm... I think we have around 6 more hours of sunlight, so we need to work fast and smart.- Percival proposed a course of action based on his previous experiences. -I had run-ins with actual Vampires and this was more or less the plan we used to handle them, it might be even easier as Jiangshi are more in line with zombies when it comes to intelligence.- Once again he focused on Gianni. -We need to clean up first before you can do an in deep research, try to keep out of harm’s way.- Percival then turned towards Ann. -It would also help you if you need to gather data, to avoid getting ambushed by these things inside the tomb.-

Gianni balked at Ann's explanation, but by the time she finished, he just shrugged and smiled. "I believe you. Nobody would make that up. And I'm not about to say you can't help." He scanned the entrance and region around it. "If we set a camp, I want it to be away from the entrance by at least a few hundred meters. It'll keep us safer." He suggested as he measured out a decent location for their tent. He blushed a little, going purple again. It would be a little cramped with three people. It would be weird enough just with Percival, but he hadn't expected a strange woman to tag along.
He shook it off. That wouldn't be a problem for another few hours. "Let's set up the tent now so we don't have to do it in the dark. Then we'll start venturing in. Ann, can you summon a tent for yourself? Ours is for two. If I had a lot of fabric I could make one for you, but I didn't bring any at all." He began to unfold his tent, a deep blue dome with yellow stars all over the inside. There were even a few plush stars that dangled from the ceiling. Gianni was proud of that touch when he added it, but now they came across as childish when others could see them.

it was at the moment Gianni began to unfold his tent that Ann realized she went underprepared for the journey, somehow, she thought the whole trip would be much shorter than that.
"I'm afraid I cant make a tent with my current abilities," she said in a somewhat depressed and shy tone, which then changed to a more cheerful one.
"but do not worry, after all, we need someone to stay awake for guard duty and I'm pretty good at pulling all-nighters!"
Ann then began to take a look at the tent, she was quite impressed with the craft, most of the tents she used to do back home were garbage compared to this one, in fact, Ann eventually ended up getting store bought ones.
upon closer inspection, she noticed the plush stars which made her laugh a little, the sole idea of Percival sleeping in there was funny enough.
at the same time, she felt somewhat depressed, the designs she picked for herself were mostly camo or military variants. That might have had a manlier style, but being manlier than a bounty hunter isn't something to be proud of when you are a girl.
*perhaps I'm not feminine enough? I guess that's the reason I cant get a boyfriend*
Ann sighed as she began to check her ammo, trouble would probably come soon and she had to be ready.

-I think I saw more tents on the guide buggy.- Percival commented, moving towards it. -It wouldn’t be proper of us to force a lady to sleep outside.- This might have been confused with the Old Mercenary coming on to Ann, but his tone and poise made it quite clear, it was a matter of manners. -I’ll bring the tent and anything of use I can find.- With that Percival left, circling around the massive tomb’s exterior. The Old Mercenary kept a long stride, his boots sinking into the sandy ground with each step. Soon he arrived at the buggy and started checking for supplies. He found an old tent, a couple of flasks filled with water, a box of rations, two bed-rolls and a flare gun with 4 flares. Percival unpacked everything, trying to find a way to carry everything in one trip. His eyes actively avoided looking at the dried up body of the guide. He wasn’t a very amicable guy, and his english could have used some work, but he didn’t deserve such a gruesome end. While Percival worked on the other side of the Tomb, the rhythm sounds of incoming leaps started echoing from inside the doorway. Two more Jiangshi were moving towards the exit, and these were slightly different to the one before, but nobody was close enough to see how.

"We'll take turns. My powers are suited to looking out anyway." Gianni flicked out a thread to the doorway to feel for vibrations. He finished setting up his tent and stood to look back at the tomb. "If he doesn't find another tent, you can sleep with us. It'll just be crowded." Gianni reluctantly grumbled. It won't be so weird. He mentally justified. We're all in sleeping bags. He was setting his bags in the tent when he felt the characteristic movements of Jiangshi in the tomb.
"Ann! PERCIVAL! I feel Jiangshi! One, no, two!" Gianni flicked threads down to his fingers. He attached the threads to the small rocks at his feet, forming makeshift bolas. He planned on entangling the first Jiangshi he saw. "Just so you know, my powers are to climb on walls and make threads." He informed Ann. He figured she might want to know what he could do if she was new to the Hidden World. Powers like his might be a little shocking to a newcomer.

"hahaha no no I insist, it's ok if I don't get any sleep," she said as she nervously laughed. --
"two of those things?! we have to get them out into the sun"
--
"so you are like spiderman??! wait, do think you could pull them out of the tomb?" Ann wanted to know more about all the types of powers and abilities that existed out there, but there was no time. She loaded her rifle and gave some steps back. Based on the previous Jiangshi encounter she knew her reaction time was not enough to dodge their attacks so she really had to keep a distance. plus, the Jiangshi still terrified her.
"good luck spidey! I'll cover you!" Ann said as she began to run in the opposite direction in order to make some distance.
*my house will never feel safe anymore, if I make it out alive I'm moving into a bunker.!* Ann was ready to shoot at whatever came out of that tomb.

Agility wasn’t one of the Jiangshi strong suits, at least the ones in the second category, so Gianni’s bola throw hit its mark. The creature didn’t quite react, as its feet were already joined together, making the bolas kinda mute, as their main focus was to alter the balance of the target by locking both legs together. Still Gianni had it connected to his threads. Their advance was inexorable, leaping towards the doorway. But just as before they stopped dead on their tracks, the sun serving as a barrier they couldn’t breach. Once again their heads started tilting to the side with rhythmical ticking following each jerking motion. Both of them stood side by side, spinning their arms like drills as they inched as close as they could to the doorway without leaving the shade. Ann’s bullets started raining on the creatures, who were still revving up their arms to the desired speed before launching them. The 5,56 mm bullets started punching holes through their dried up husks of bodies, but any projectile hitting the spinning stone arms got bounced off. With deliberate slowness, both beings, still being riddled with bullets, placed their arms in a strange pattern, covering the other making a sideways “V” with them, interlocking without touching each other and covering as much as their bodies as they could with the spinning arms.
On the other side of the White Jade Tomb outer wall, Percival was slowly walking with the resources he got from the van, but upon hearing the shooting he dropped the things he was carrying and rushed towards the doorway, he was too far away to hear Gianni’s warning, but he was already getting ready, pulling his sword out of its scabbard and once again painting it with the strange oil he carried on his sealed inner pocket. -What’s happening!?- The Old Mercenary shouted as he grew closer to the scene.
