"I don't know. And I'm not going to let you find out." Marceline put her bat across her lap. "Just don't try to get past me and we don't have to fight." She leaned back against the door and closed her eye, but it shot right back open when a beast shaped like a horrific gecko with an angler-fish's head lunged into the room with a heavy thud. "Chase, why the hell is she free? Do I have to do everything around here?" He pulled up to a bipedal form, tail becoming more whiplike, claws growing greatly. With a snarl, he lunged for Marceline, expecting Chase to follow.

Marika stood stunned when she popped out of the kaspa. No. Not another threat. It wasn't fair. She didn't even have any weapons now. Time to pull a Marceline. "She's insane!" She sobbed, showing her lacerated stomach. "The crazy girl is trying to cut everybody up! I only just got away!" She fell to her knees, faking tears very unconvincingly.

John tried to stand, but still couldn't. "Haruko, I saw what was in the tub. It's parts." He was clearly agitated by it. The sheer enormity of what had nearly been done to him was just now hitting him.
"Cassy doesn't really get complex arguments and stuff. It's simple terms or nothing." She happily stuffed her shuddering arms into the coat, cuddling up to Arthur for warmth. Hopefully her horns didn't thaw out.

Chase could sense the Huntsman's approach and knew of his hostile attitude towards Marceline. At this point, there was no way Chase was going to be able to get through Marceline and stop her master, while stopping the Huntsman at the same time. Heck, he wasn't even sure if he could do either of those two objectives without needing to complete the other in of itself. In this situation, Chase had only one choice really in order to avoid hurting either the Huntsman and Marceline. Chase reaches out with his hand towards the Huntsman and begins to pull on the soul that is sharing the Huntsman's body. A roommate who Huntsman dislikes and will be mad with Chase for pulling this kinda move on him. "Sorry Pal..." says Chase as he begins to force the Huntsman out his own spiritual center and pull in the Swallower to replace the Huntsman as his spiritual center, thus allowing the Swallower in control. Chase imagine she would have a better chance to convince the Swallower to try to bind Marceline and avoid harming her or even killing her than the Huntsman.
Chase moves in to get in front of the Huntsman's body as he pulls on his soul in order to protect his companion from Marceline's attack if she tries to assault the Huntsman during this spiritual tag of war that Chase was waging against the dangerous killing machine.

"Parts? You mean...?!" And at that moment, it all made sense. Marika being a seamstress, the strange thread that makes up Cosmina and Marceline, their unnatural body temperature...Marika was killing people and sewing their parts together like a real life Frankenstein. Although instead of lightening, she gave them life through the string that binds their limbs together.
At that moment, images of the enemies she encountered while fighting Cosmina came rushing into her head. There were dozens of them in there, and each one was likely made up of multiple lost lives's parts. Just how many people did this girl kill, and what made her target John for this twisted process?!
"...John. Is the person in that tub still alive, or is it a random assortment of parts?" Haruko asks, drawing 20 explosive knives out of her coat and ready to destroy that tub.

Aria's expression remains unchanged as Marika began to cry some of the worst crocodile tears she had ever seen. Being the president of the HWIC, she was well versed in the signs that could tell if a person is lying. Aria stands up from the chair, kicks it behind her, creates a hole in the vines for it to escape through, and closes it once more.
"Two questions; who are you, and who is this 'crazy girl' who allegedly wounded you?" Aria asks, beginning to walk towards Marika, her heels clattering against the wood floor.

Arthur finally realized that Cassandra wasn't just being stubborn and that something was actually wrong with her mentally. Now that he thought about it, that should have been obvious the second she actually believed his obvious lie from before.
"Anyway, should we take her to the burning girl now?" The answer was obviously no. No, they shouldn't. Up till now, Arthur thought that the fighting was over since the purple-haired bitch already ran away and the girl on fire was just standing near the tub. But now he wasn't so sure because Haruko wouldn't have drawn a ton of knives if the fight was over.
"I guess not." Since the fight wasn't over, Arthur figured he should go and help Haruko. But before that, he couldn't leave Cassandra thrashing around like she was. "Cassandra, let's make a deal, okay? I'll let you go and make the pain go away if you promise not to attack us until Marika orders you to again."

"Uh... uh... Marika Arachne! The one who kidnapped the incubus! I'm just a kid, just another victim..." She realized just how tall Aria was now that she was standing. She hated her. She was taunting Marika, who would never be more than five feet. She would take Aria's legs and change up her boyfriend. He would be tall. Her legs curled beneath her for just a second and she sprung, dripping paralytic venom onto her fingernails before trying to dig them into Aria's face. "Stupid fucking waste of height! I HATE YOU!" How dare this worthless bitch walk around with legs as long as those?

Huntsman felt Swallower stir within him. Of all times... I am roused by the oddest and yet most familiar sensation. Is it perhaps- Unbelievable. Huntsman fell flat as part of his body was seized by the Swallower's control. I cannot leave you to your own devices for any length of time, can I? [Fuck off, I'm trying to kill something here!] So I noticed. "Has he begun another pointless altercation with this girl?" Swallower asked Chase, fully in control of the body now. [It's not pointless! She kidnapped somebody!] Your ludicrous fabrications will not sway me.

Cosmina quickly helped Cassandra reach a decision on the matter. "Marika didn't say when you had to kill him." Cassandra kept crying, but her head worked this over, and finding no flaws, she nodded. "Okay. But I have to kill you some time." She sniffled. Her body briefly stopped thrashing to let Arthur get her free.
John shook his head. "No, it's just parts. I had the last thing she needed- I think she wanted the glands that make the wonderful scent you're getting a whiff of now." While he reeked with sweat, the musky odor of attraction escaped with it. He guessed he'd have to let Haruko handle it. He still could barely move. At first she had stabbed him with some paralyzing venom. It seemed he was still drained from fighting that off. But to his surprise (everybody but Cosmina's) Yuu just gave a little smile. It was an oddly chilling grin. She stepped casually away from the tub and lunged over Arthur's head and up the stairs, leaving only little flaming footprints.

Chase looks a the body of Huntsman, now under the control of the Swallower, and says, "Well... truth of the matter is... that girl over there is being manipulated to protect that door way, Yet... I doubt we need to do anything at this point besides binding and capturing her alive, If worse comes to worse." Chase looks back at the doorway and finally notice that Marika has stopped moving and was face to face with one of the most powerful women that Chase has ever seen. Aria... well looks like someone is going to get captured today. He no longer cared about Marika, for he knew that Aria was going to handle the matter by herself, what he needs to focus on now is making sure that Marceline doesn't do anything unnecessary. Chase smiles as he thinks how shock Marceline's master must be by being confronted by the leader one of the most powerful Hidden World Organizations.

She was going to kill...for his glands?! That's it?! Glaring at the tub, Haruko pays the escaping Yuu no mind as the doll raced back upstairs. "In that case, this tub is getting blown to pieces!" She yells, tossing all of the explosive knives in her hands at the tub, causing a large explosion that shook the room slightly. Just for good measure, she launches a second volley of knives at the tub to make sure that all of the body parts inside were completely destroyed.
"Ok...I think it's done. Let's get you out of here and deal with that child once more." She states, emphasizing the word 'child.' She honestly didn't care if Marika was one or not, as she had already lost all sympathy with Haruko. "Hey Arthur...mind us up a little? I kinda gave a lot of my energy to keep him alive..."

This kid wasn't even a good liar. As Marika insisted she was "just another victim", Aria readied herself for a surprise attack that, sure enough, came soon after. However, her form was sloppy, no better than a drunken man during a brawl. Grabbing Marika's right arm, Aria twists her body to the side and uses Marika's own momentum to make her crash into the ground, the HWIC president holding both her arms behind her back and one knee on top to keep the spider seamstress down.
"I am not aware of why my height has anything to do with this, but assaulting an officer is a serious crime. Now, you have ten seconds to explain where my sister and her boyfriend are before I arrest you. Start talking." Aria states authoritatively, beginning to suspect that this girl was one of the kidnappers.

"That's okay. I just hope that one day you won't have to kill me." The binds around Cassandra's joints disappeared and Arthur used a healing spell on her, making all pain go away. And just in time for Arthur to feel heat above him and see the burning girl running away a second later.
"Well shit." Arthur was about to run after Yuu, but Haruko stopped him. "I'm sorry Ruko, but I wouldn't kiss your boyfriend even if he was dying. Not least because I already have a girlfriend. And a healing spell won't fix your fatigue anyway. So you two can just stay here and watch over these two while I go after the burning girl. Just make sure you're not too busy making out. Toodaloo!" And Arthur ran after Yuu, leaving Cosmina and Cass in Haruko's tired but capable hands.

Marika was utterly overpowered in just an instant. She found herself flipped and slamming into the ground before she even realized what was going on. She made a squawk of pain as she hit the ground, cuts on her stomach worsening from the sudden movement. She squirmed, but Aria's weight was too much for such a tiny girl to shake off. She decided to answer the question. "YUU IS KILLING THEM! AND SHE'LL KILL YOU TOO!" She screamed.

John winced as he pulled himself off of the table, leaning on Haruko for support. "Is he always like that? I might have to get all jealous and forbid you from hanging out with him." Cassandra sat on the floor, her legs curled under her body, still shaking with tears. "Sorry my dear, but I need this more than you." He stumbled to her and put a hand on her chin to push her face up. She stopped for a second in her confusion before he shoved his lips to her. She made a muffled yelp, but after a moment of struggle, yielded utterly, arms falling from his chest to be limp on the ground. After a few seconds, he pulled away and wiped his lips. She began to fall, but he caught her and lowered her gently to the ground. "Bleh... naked and stinky..." She muttered before becoming utterly still.
"Sorry about that, Haruko. That's something you're going to need to get used to. On the plus side, we can get moving before Cosmina's horns dethaw. Need me to carry you, my lady?" He smiled at Haruko, but he still looked like he was about to throw up.

"Ah. It is a simple enough task to bind her." Swallower began to grow tough tendrils to do the job, forcing Marceline to get into a defensive stance. Before they two sides clashed again, Yuu stepped into the room, fire died down utterly. She looked beyond the group, seeing Marika backing struggling under the knee of a tall blonde woman. A spark of panic was ignited in her heartless chest. "Let me through at once! I need to save her!" Yuu prepared to barrel through anybody between her and Marika if they didn't step aside.

Chase was tired of having to deal with people and was willing to let Yuu go, but suddenly the mark begins to glow again. Without even being able to second guess himself, the mark drives him to turn around and without being able to resist, he swings his sword with a massive wave of flames that reaches to the other side of the walls in Yuu's direction. The intense flames burn away at the walls of the room, turning their surface areas to ashes. In only few seconds, the walls begin to resemble the image of burnt coal with the walls now turning burnt black with various crack with highlights of glowing red, which flickers between a slighter glow of red and a much more brighter shine of bright red. Chase looks at Yuu and almost immediately regrets his decision. Now, this is not because he cares if his attack has wounded or even killed her, but rather because his attack did not do any damage, and if fact by sensing her power, Chase could tell that the flames are having the opposite effect in that they are actually making her stronger. Looking more closely, he picks up that the source of this power from her is coming from her eyes. Quickly, Chase recalls the flames from the room and move back in his sword before he could make the doll any stronger. As he is doing this, he tells the Swallower in a casual tone of voice, "I hope your ready to fight."

"Get the hell back here you lazy ice mage!" Haruko yell up as Arthur runs up the stairs. What an asshole, he deliberately chose not to heal them even when he was RIGHT THERE! Looks like someone won't be invited back to Christmas. "He's not normally like that, but right there was unacceptable." She watched with a little bit of disdain as he made out with Cassandra to steal her energy, but she knew it wasn't romantic. "No, I am fine. But we should bring Cosmina with us, she doesn't deserve to stay in this place."
Picking Cosmina up, the seamstress opens a portal to her Kaspa. "Cosmina is programmed to attack us, so if she can't see anyone, she can move around normally. Just hang out in the lounge until we come get you, okay?" She tells Cosmina, then proceeds to enter the portal, place the doll on one of the couches, and walks out once more, closing the portal behind her.
"Now that she's safe...let's go." Walking around Cassandra, Haruko begins making her way up the stair.

Like a cornered animal, Marika began to shout out things that may help her cause. Aria decided to delve deeper. "And just who is this 'Yuu', and where is she now?"

Arthur had to shield his face from the intense heat that struck him as he followed Yuu into Marceline's room. Chase might have gone a bit overboard with his flames, but luckily he retracted them before they became a serious problem for Arthur. Unfortunately, the flames probably had no effect on Yuu. But Arthur wasn't gonna let her go so easily.
"Get over here!" A giant block of ice appeared a few meters in front of Yuu and flew towards her like a train aiming to knock her backwards. Arthur jumped forward and performed a falling axe kick aimed at her head.

Marika had given up struggling. She was just waiting for Yuu to come out and burn this plant bitch. "She's my mom! And she's perfect! They'll never stop her!"

Cosmina nodded when Haruko offered to put her in the kaspa. She let Haruko settle her on the couch, face falling when the door closed and she was alone. Everything that had happened that day took its toll, and she was suddenly very, very tired. She lay down on the couch and with a last shudder, she curled up and fell still.
John glanced at Haruko coming back out and followed her up the stairs. "I'd like to put Cassandra away too, but I worry she'd hurt Cosmina if she woke up." He gave the strange girl a last look to make sure she wasn't moving and put an arm around Haruko, not just for the precious contact but to help her up. He knew she was tired after saving him with her own energy. It was his turn to help her, although he wasn't sure he could ever help her as much as she'd helped him.

"I am indeed." [NO! NO! I WANTED TO KILL THE FIRE BITCH! I CALLED DIBS!] Swallower strode towards Yuu, who's eyes were practically glowing with black light for the power Chase's flames had just gave her. It wouldn't last long. The power of fire faded swiftly when she wasn't in direct contact with it. She ignited her tears once more and was engulfed in flames. The only disadvantage of this outfit was that fire was best when it had skin contact, and clothing that survived her napalm tears wasn't giving her that much. Still, she was strong enough to get into a stocky position and take the ice block head on, hands eating through it like acid.
She took Arthur's heavy kick with a slight stagger forward. Considering her flames, the mild ache in her head was nothing compared to what he was feeling. She spun to drive a kunai into his gut, a blazing strike with heartstopping venom. She kept spinning the face Swallower and Chase again, lunging forth and slipping past bony claws to sweep swallower's leg. As he fell in flames, she just kept moving, jumping in front of Chase to slam her knee into his face and hopefully sail past. Marceline cowered away. She did not want to be touched by Yuu right now.

Chase didn't appreciate the fact that his mistake had resulted in a super charged doll coming straight at them. Even though normally he wanted to just move out the way and allow the doll to pass by without a care in the world, the influence of the mark was not going to listen to Chase's wishes. Chase stood his ground and commands the chains to move towards Yuu, with the goal of pinning her limbs and at the same time, he swings his sword at her, but this time without the fire coming out of the sword part. He learned from his previous mistake that fire was this girl's best friend when it comes to giving her a boost. Yet, he figures that a powerful sword slash would do just the trick with the doll trying to land a jumping knee kick on his face. His aim was to slice her up in half from a horizontal angle. The edge of the blade comes right for Yuu's body with the attack being swung so fast and powerful, that the sword even releases a minor shockwave slash from the air pressure alone, which is capable of traveling and creating a foot deep slash mark in the wall across from Chase with the diameter of pressure slash being five feet across. Chase also plans to adjust his return or follow up swing to continue another cut, but this time coming from the top to bottom with a slash of equal strength as the first one.

"I thought the same...so I am not going to put her in the same room as Cosmina. That doll just seems too loyal..." Disappointment could be heard in Haruko's voice as she made her way up the stairs, thinking about how innocent Cassandra seemed, and the way Marika addressed her. By the sound of the upstairs, Yuu was still inside of the Kaspa, likely fighting Huntsman, Arthur and Chase. As they neared the top of the stairs, Haruko stops to let John pass, handing him his pants as well.
"I am not really in a shape to be fighting that chick, so I'll just hang out here and toss knives from the doorway. Are you healed enough to give them a hand?" She asks, not knowing how much energy he managed to get from Cassandra.

Aria was getting tired of this girl spouting nonsense. "Your mother? How do I get inside of the portal you came out of? I can assure you, she will be stopped by me." Aria was losing patience with Marika. If she didn't tell her how to get into the Kaspa soon, she'd start searching her for a key.

Yuu lit herself on fire once again. Arthur did not expect that. When his foot connected with Yuu's head, Arthur's pant leg caught on fire. He grit his teeth and withstood the pain long enough to roll to the right and avoid Yuu's deadly strike. Then he finally screamed and ice covered the cloth, extinguishing the fire before it could spread to Arthur's skin. As he used a healing spell and recuperated, he noticed someone standing in the doorway.
"Haruko! What the hell are you doing here? I told you to stay behind and look after those two!" He was obviously annoyed by Haruko's appearance, but there was nothing he could do about that right now. So he tossed what appeared to be a cylindrical pez dispenser with a chess figure on top to her. It was filled with small, blue candy. "If you have to be here, eat one of those. It's mana candy so I can't guarantee that it'll help you out, but it might." He also cast a healing spell on John while getting back on his feet.

John happily donned his pants a moment before he and Haruko reached the door. The boxers were too sheer for his taste at the moment. He was less happy to see Arthur in the room, and even less to see just how well the flaming woman was doing. Arthur and Swallower were incapacitated already. "Haruko, I might have a problem here. She's a bit on fire." He was a physical fighter, even with his tail regrowing under the effect of Arthur's healing spell. He couldn't touch this.
Yuu saw the chains coming and whipped her short sword from its sheath. A few quick strikes deflected or severed the chains, letting her continue her trajectory. However, her knee never reached its target, because her next movement was swinging her blade to stand between her body and Chase's own sword. She wasn't sliced in half, she was simply knocked aside. Yuu tumbled on the ground, igniting more of the carpet. New plan. She flicked a kunai into her hand. It was covered in clingy flames. With absolutely no joy and even an increase in tears, she threw it. "I'm sorry." She said as the kunai sank to its handle in Marceline's stomach. Marceline stared in horror for just a second before her dry body ignited and her agonized screams filled the air again. In a room of fire, Yuu vanished.

Marika sealed her lips. She wasn't telling Aria the only way to get in. She wasn't letting her help them gang up on Yuu. It turned out Yuu didn't need the help. A kunai sailed over Aria's head and embedded itself in the vines, lighting them ablaze. "GET OFF OF MARIKA!" Yuu roared, pointing her sword at Aria's chest. "Next time, I'll drive it through your skull!"

Chase was too distracted by Marceline's injury to really notice Yuu sneaking pass him at first. Chase's temper begins to increase as he hears Marceline's screams. Chase quickly points his sword towards Marceline and commands his sword to absorb the fire all around them. The flames from Marceline's body and all around the room begin to jump off of whatever surface they were on and flew to the blade in Chase's hands. As the flames are burning into the sharp edge of the sword, the heat energy turns into spirit energy for weapon's user. It took only a couple of seconds for all the flames in the room to disappear and become spiritual energy for him. Looking at Marceline, he only could hope that he had somehow helped her. Chase was prepare to turn and head into the room, but he stops as he realizes then that she would then be force to try and stop him. Gripping his sword in anger, he lifts his free hand and the chains begin to levitate off the group and travel in twisting moves towards him. The chains wrap around both his free hand and the and proceed to wrap around and connect the other end of his chains to the handle of his weapon. Chase walks over to Marceline and checks to see if she is okay, next he plans on going after Yuu and make sure that she doesn't get away with this.

This was a terrible day for the not-crazy dolls. Arthur could only watch as the burning kunai hit Marceline and set her on fire and he was reluctant to follow Yuu again after his previous attempt failed in such a painful way. Luckily, he was not useless for long, all thanks to Chase. Once he sucked up the flames that engulfed Marceline, Arthur rushed over to her.
He put a hand on Chase's shoulder and said: "I'll take care of her, go after the fire girl." He turned towards Marceline and pulled out the kunai. He dropped it right after and cursed since it was still really hot. Swallowing the curse words that were supposed to follow the first one, he put his other hand on Marceline's wound and cast a healing spell. He was starting to feel like a nurse at this point, but that was all he could be while flames were in play.

"They are both safe, Arthur. But thanks for the help!" Haruko calls out as she catches the dispenser, putting one of the candies inside in her mouth. While it didn't taste like much, the seamstress felt some of her energy returning to her, as if someone had just given her an energy drink. She thinks about what John had said...and glares at Yuu as she escapes. Marceline appeared to be in good hands, and there were two people who needed to pay. "I'll go after them. Make sure Marceline survives, you two!" Turning to John, she motions towards the exit. "If you feel strong enough, you could try to keep Marika away from me while I deal with the fire girl. But don't risk it if you're still hurt, okay?"
Sprinting towards the exit, Haruko quickly transforms back into her magical girl form, and arrives back in her own house.

Ducking her head under the kunai, Aria turns to face her new opponent. Wonderful...a fire user, and they were about to fight in the middle of her sister's home. She couldn't have Haruko's house burn down like this. Luckily...she had help.
Without warning, a set of chains wrap themselves around Yuu and Marika's feet, and drag them both through a portal that dumps them on the beach outside of Haruko's house. Aria also steps through this portal, appearing a few feet away from Yuu and Marika.
"Making threats against an officer, property damage, kidnapping, resisting arrest...these are some of the crimes you both have committed. By the authority of the HWIC, you both are under arrest. Surrender quietly..." Drawing both her pistols, Aria looks at both of them with cold professionalism. "...or I will use force against you. Decide now."
Still in the house, a man in his early 20's was busy spraying the few fires that started with a fire extinguisher. He knew that Aria wanted to apprehend these people on her own, so he was making sure that Haruko's house didn't burn down. Haruko herself arrives to see the burn marks in her carpet, and looks back at Alex.
"They are down by the beach. I'll take care of the mess here, you go help. Or don't. I don't mind either way." Alex says as he continued to put out the fires.
