Hello, everyone! I've noticed we haven't had an awards post in a while, and I would like to remedy that. However; I feel there are a few improvements we should make that would drastically increase the quality. In brief, here is what I'm suggesting;
1. Eliminate categories: Some categories hardly get any votes, or are downright not applicable to the forum now. So I feel we should get rid of these categories;
-Best Couple
-Best Location
-Best NPC
-Best NPC Villain
-Best Bromance
-Best Rivalry
-Best Tearjerker Scene
Here are the categories we'd keep;
Best Hero
Best Neutral
Best Villain
Best Fight
Crowning Moment of Awesome
Crowning Moment of Funny
Best Line
Best Relationship
Best Ship
Best Story Thread
Best Writer
Best Player
Vicer of the Month
2. Make nominations. I want to add an extra step in the voting process. Instead of one round of votes and making the awards, I want one round of votes for all the categories, then I'll post the votes and make them all nominations. People then vote on those nominations, and the awards are based on those votes. It'll lead to less ties, and less people feeling regret that they forgot a specific moment that another person may have voted for.
Those are the big changes I'd like to make. If nobody has any issues; let's open up voting! Since it's been so long, let's limit this to just 2017 thus far; January 1st to...whenever I close the votes. PM me your nominations, and I'll have them up as soon as possible!
