"Murder? Really? Are you sure about that? He didn't seem like much of a killer to me." Jun chuckled into her drink. The immature little brat had his share of vices she had seen, but killing intent wasn't one of them. "So you can't get in. I understand, I deal with that myself on jobs. But what do you expect me to do about it? I erased all my grudges on that island." She had settled things with Amai with her duel. The others there had angered her, but not enough to form a grudge.

Do innocent children flee instead of explaining what happened or cry the loss of their friend? - He almost shouted as he raised an eyebrow - Of course he killed her, he had a knife covered with blood in his hand as he held the girl's body, which was bleeding nonstop from the neck. Not to include the flames of the "prince" were burning everything... - Andy grunted at the memory just as his face showed his displeasure - In the end, you are useless to me if you can't track him
He said as he stood, taking his bag while he kept his bow and then remove the arrows that could still be used from the bodies. Frustation won against him, all that job gathering the money and all the information to deal with one of the so-called "assassins"... For nothing! Just to have a gunshot wound.
What a waste of time! - He exclaimed angrily after pulling out one of the arrows,in the end he was the one who finished breaking it...

"I'm sure it wasn't a complete waste." Jun said, cutting her salmon into slices. "I pay all my debts, and I owe one to you. I... might have failed if you hadn't helped me. I can offer you part of my paycheck for this assignment. It should be upwards of 10,000 American dollars for me. I don't know what you use where you're from, but I'm sure even, say, 4,000 should pay some bills. Maybe even push you forward to your duel with Derek." Jun delicately placed a single strip of salmon in her mouth. "With that great a cut, I will have to find another assignment tomorrow." The Shattered One spoke in her skull. "I'm aware. It's well worth it." Jun's smile was pure and honest, even splattered in blood. Andy couldn't hear the words she spoke within, but her offer of money was loud and clear.

The boy didn't speak, he was considering the offer. When she spoke about "where you're from" Andy was still taking back his arrows. He belonged to nowhere, and thankfully he could live without spending so much money... of course it was a hard way to survive while being a boy of 18 years old without studies nor friends. 4,000 was a little too much for him, probably he could travel without doing some work in exchange, he managed to go to North Korea by working in a fishing boat, but he knew that his determination wasn't enough for other people... When Jun said that the money will push him closer to Derek's location it was the final strike to convice him.
I guess I can accept that...

"Excellent. Give me your contact information and I will call you when I'm paid. Wait a second though." Jun picked up a cell phone tucked safely away in the basket, decorated with a sparkly blue cover embossed with a blue rose. She tapped the most recent contact and held it up to speak. "Yes, this is Jun Li. I've finished with all combatants and you can come in for clean up. I left you one for interrogation. Thank you, yes." She hung up and looked back to Andy. "There. Representatives of the Chinese government should be here in 10 minutes. I won't get paid here so you don't need to stick around if you don't want to."

The red-haired boy nodded when the girl explained, and he took from his bag a small card. It was a bit folded and completely black except for the text that was in white. It didn't had so much, just a number and his nickname. He made sure none of his arrows were there, even if the broken ones were useless he took them as well with the others, everything was in his bag now, he did that before accepting Jun's offer. Despite being angry at that moment he wasn't careless. So everything should be fine.
He nodded once again when she explained about the Chinese government, he moved his lips saying "Bye" but nothing came out. He didn't care if Jun listened, he finished his "task" and now was the time to go back, and probably search for a place where to sleep.

Jun took the card with a bright smile. "Thank you. Expect a call in a week or two, and we'll discuss how to make the payment. Bye!" She smiled as he left, thrilled that he took all his arrows with him. She would have removed them herself and gotten rid of them. She chuckled as she disguised every arrow wound with a quick slash or stab. 4,000 dollars was a small price to pay for a boost to her reputation. A strike like this against the terrifying Akiyama clan, and all by herself? Jun sat at the land's end to watch the tide, enjoying her moment of rest. The Lion was a good kid. A little slow, but weren't all kids? She was sure he had a good career ahead for him. And for herself, a life as glittering as the light on the waves.
