-Urnas, we reached a blockade, backtrack and find us.- Riku talked to the Enigmatic Scout, who seemed to have beef with the Dolls, in particular Yuu, Martha and Jane. The Vengeful Boxer skipped any courtesy or honorifics, this wasn’t the time to attempt to be diplomatic. The line was open but Urnas was taking his sweet time to reply. As Riku waited he started looking around until Yuu added another instruction. Riku almost let out a half smile. -He doesn’t walk, remember?- The Vengeful Boxer pointed out that the Mysterious Scout didn’t seem to walk, becoming an insubstantial mass of shadows flying around. -If I tell him I’ll bet he would get pissed and he wouldn’t help us.- Riku explained his reasoning as he kept looking around. -Got it.- That was Urnas short answer to his request. From above their position a couple of red eyes looked at them, hidden in the shadows of the corner of the wall. The silhouette was animal-like, but lacked the same kind of implants the wolves had. Sharp corners would be evidence that its body wasn’t organic, or at least not completely. -Uhm, they can be of use.- He whispered to himself in a robotic murmur with a thick Russian Accent.

"I remember him walking when we first saw him, so he does it sometimes!" Martha declared from by the lever. "Fair enough. Now get away from that thing." Yuu still didn't trust Martha near the lever. Far too impulsive. Martha obeyed with a grumble, walking over to the door to inspect it. It was a heck of a door. All the doors and hallways down here were so big. "Hey... you know, they wouldn't need doors this huge for anything we've met down here. They could all fit through kinda big but not taller than Josefina doors. You think they borged up some of those ogres that live in the mountains here?" Martha's voice rose in pace at the possibility. What a fight that would be!
Jane backed to the far opposite wall of the door and stared at it in terror. "Noooooooo! It would be like Patches with her ogre arm! Only with two, and even stronger!" She wailed. "How does Martha of all of us know what kind of people live around here?" Chelsea asked. "Chelsea, be polite. We have been in Russia before. We went to the Kuray mountains to find parts of an ogre king's body a few months before you were born. Still, Martha, that's not actually very close to where we are. Russia is rather massive." The Kuray range was far to the south.
Of course, that didn't detract from Martha's actual observation. Every hallway and room was much larger than what seemed necessary. This wasn't some ancient palace showing off the wealth of its owner. It was a hidden underground complex. It should be bare bones and easy to overlook. This scale was nothing but a detriment unless there was a purpose. "Did Shikishima ever mention anything big being operated on here? Ogre? Frost Giant? Giraffe? Dragon?" Yuu asked Riku, figuring that if anybody knew it would be Shikishima. He did have some images of the experiments within this complex after all.

Riku was about to press the button so he could attempt communication with Shikishima, but that would’ve been pointless as the channel was muted, while the Mad Weaponsmith ate some snacks and didn’t want to be bothered. The second reason was that somebody was about to reply to Yuu’s question. Something landed behind them, the sound of feet gracefully touching ground after jumping from a great height. The Vengeful Boxer reacted turning around and locking his eyes on the strange figure while raising his guard. For a moment he thought it was another of the Blitz Wolves, but unlike those this creature lacked the curve plates that helped it become a jet-propelled wrecking ball. Plus it wasn’t a corpse animated by technology, it was a fully robotic animal, possibly a wolf. Bright red lenses shone in the dark as it come closer and before Riku could react the creature talked. -Da, you vould not believe half of it, comrades.- He moved closer, his mechanical paws hitting the floor with a metallic click as every razor sharp claw reached the ruined concrete.
-I kould tell you about it comrades, but it vould kost you any booze you have, vodka if possible…- It almost seemed as if his robotic snout twisted into a smile.

Every doll had their own exclamation when the wolf fell from the ceiling. "Eep!" Jane screamed as she dove behind Martha. "What!?" Yelled Marika, readying her plasma pistols. "Cool!" Declared Chelsea, stepping forward to inspect the thing the instant she realized it wasn't aggressive. "New monster!" Martha slid her feet into a fighting stance before seeing that it wasn't attacking.
"Booze? Uh, would you settle for clean water? We didn't bring alcohol down here. It seemed unnecessary." Yuu always had the feeling that if she started drinking she would have difficulty stopping and was a teetotaler as a result. "Hi! I'm Chelsea! What's your name?" A strangely bubbly Chelsea crouched to be at eye level with the wolf beast.
"Oh, Riku, could you warn Urnas about our... guest? I don't want him to think we're under attack and start an unnecessary battle." Yuu rubbed her forehead. She was getting far too used to this. She barely had any emotional reaction to the robot wolf talking and demanding alcohol for information. This had to be new, but she couldn't bring herself to care because it wasn't a danger to her family. At least, not right new. She kept her hand within drawing distance of her sword, but gave a polite nod anyway. "I'm sorry, I was rude to not introduce myself. I am Yuu and these are Marika, Martha, Jane, Josefina, Sidney, Riku, and as you know, Chelsea."

-Pleased to meet you damsels and you comrade, I don't actually have prrroper name, but zey used to kall me Easterrrn Volf, shame about the lack of booze.- His thick russian accent combined to the robotic tone made understanding him a bit complicated, but at the very least he didn’t seem to be aggressive. The self proclaimed Eastern Wolf took a couple of steps closer to them, while Riku quickly informed Urnas about the situation. -We have a…- The Vengeful Boxer made a short pause, trying to find a way to describe what he was seeing. -...a local with us, don’t attack on sight unless he is fighting us.- As he got closer to the light sources they carried they could see more details of this strange creature’s frame. Clearly he was much more advanced that anything in the complex, sleek chromed surfaces all around, his plating seemed to be more akin to a Stealth Bomber in position and manufacture than the rough slabs of reinforced iron used by the creatures in this lab.
Still he seemed to be old, parts of the plating had small cracks, more out of lack of maintenance and use than actual damage. Atop his back there was indications of something missing, as there was a large circular socket, as if there were missing modules of his armors. -What brrrings so many lovely ladies and single young man to zis neck of voods? Orrr should I say svamp?- He asked, actually curious about their intent and goal in this place, his home for more than 50 years.

Yuu was quickly growing uncomfortable with the wolf. The way it talked, its unexplained origin. She was suspecting that their goal here would be at odds with what it wanted, but if that was the case, it was best to get this over with right now. "We are searching for something called a Star Heart. You seem to, ah... be a local. Do you know exactly where it is and what to expect getting there?" She was waiting for potential fallout when Chelsea jumped in. "You look way better than everything else in here! How's this? If you help us, Sidney will fix up those scratches on you!" She pointed up at the unconscious doll in Josefina's palm. Yuu didn't protest. It seemed like a reasonable and appealing trade.

-Da, my storrry is long and tedious, let's just say zat unlike rrrotten ones arrround herrre I only kept what gave me my brrrilliant perrrsonality and zat I'm not exactly frrrom arrround herrre.- He explained as his mechanical snout did a full circle. It wasn’t quite clear if he was talking about not being from the lab, the world or the universe. -I do not rrrequierrre any rrrepairrrs comrades, I'm at top perrrforrrmance.- But as soon as he said that he looked up and to the side, as if he was thinking about something. -But zerrre is something you kould help me vith…- He turned around showing them the empty socket over his metallic spine. -I've lost my veapon, while I vas rrrunning frrrom fleshy ones.- He once again turned around to see them, showing his creepy, yet well intentioned canine grin, his sharp and chromed fangs shining with the light.
-If I get veapon I kan guide you all damsels to Hearrrt, I know wherrre Hearrrt is, I'm smarrrt…- He explained, offering his terms. -The morrre down you go komrrrades, morrre dangerrrous bekomes, big monsterrrs, lot of teeth, claws and fangs. Sidney began to stir on Josefina's palm, sitting up to spy the situation below. She rubbed her eyes when she saw her companions talking to a mechanical wolf. Just what had she missed? Yuu saw her movement up above. Good, she was back. They would need her if they were attaching weaponry. "Well, does it have to be your original weapon, or would you settle for this?" Yuu held out her railgun.
"I could totally attach that to the wolf guy with some parts from the cyborgs." Sidney didn't bother to ask why there was a wolf guy or why they were giving him weapons. Engineering up a connection was more interesting. "That's the coolest! Do it!" Chelsea yelled. Everything about her usual attitude seemed to have faded in the face of a mechanical friendly wolf. Jane just walked to a corner, well out of the way of any potential line of fire if the crossbow happened to be set off. Yuu was wisely unloading it, but Jane's philosophy was that you could never be too safe.
"What kind of big monsters?" She yelled across the room. "That is actually a good question. What are we up against? And what do you mean you aren't from around here? Were you not created in this facility?" Yuu followed up on Jane's question. It would explain why he was so different from everything else in here. Of course, it didn't mean he was totally trustworthy. She had offered up her gun, but she wasn't loading it until she had some precautions in place.

-My veapon is unique damsels, I kan not parrrt vays vith it, it vorrrks in unison vith equally unique pover sourrrce- Eastern Wolf explained as his head did a complete 180 and looked at the plug. -You vill find diffikult to konnect vith me, I not frrrom arrround herrre, da, I frrrom another dimension komrrrades.- He revealed his origin with an off-hand comment, not giving enough importance to it. Eastern Wolf didn’t elaborate, choosing instead to reply to the next question. -I do not know names of everrrything down herrre, I know some, I have seen ogrrres, trrrolls and other norrrdic monsterrrs, my vorrrld had lots.- The Mechanical Wolf explained but suddenly his creepy yet genuine smile vanished as his head looked directly at the top of the door. His cybernetic body readying for combat as veils of shadow poured from the crease between the door and the wall.
-Behind me damsels, I smell foul stench, Vampyrrr komes!- He barked as Urnas started forming right in front of the door. -I used to vorrrk vith asshole like zis, verrry sad, kould not keep his booze, never trrrusted man who kannot drrrink.- Eastern Wolf was ready to jump a slightly puzzled and incredibly vexed Urnas, who glared in their direction with burning hatred flaring on his blood red eyes. If Eastern Wolf was right then it made sense that the Mysterious Scout was limited on working during night-time. -What is this?- He asked coldly, looking at Eastern Wolf, who seemed ready to pounce. Riku, who at first was interested, was lost again on thought, trying to figure more about piercing attacks. It was almost as if he was isolated from everything inside a sound proof bubble.

"You're from Jotunheim! You must be a warg!" Jane yelled, eyes widening. She had no idea what it meant. She was of course making this guess from knowing Norse mythology, but while there anything associated with Jotunheim was evil, she knew reality was more complicated, even if Jotunheim turned out to be a real place. Her terror told him he couldn't be trusted, but her fear wasn't the most reliable source in the world. It sought out monsters in every corner and turned every smile into a gesture of future betrayal.
"A warg? Is that tr-" Yuu's question was cut short by Urnas' arrival. She instantly put her body between the potential warg and the potential vampire. "We're all on the same side here. Urnas, this is Eastern Wolf. He's helping us find the Heart. Eastern Wolf, this is Urnas. He's our scout, also helping us find the Heart." "Yeah, leave Wolf alone you emo asshole!" Chelsea yelled past Yuu before getting hushed by a fiery glare. "Do not antagonize anybody. We don't need a pointless fight." Yuu practically growled before looking back at Urnas. "Come, join us. You don't have to be such a stranger. I can put out the flames if that's what's bothering you." If he really was a vampire, it would explain why he didn't trust her. She could turn him into ash in an instant.

Urnas face contorted underneath the chainmail veil covering it. The only evidence to it was the shadow being casted over his blood red eyes, that dangerously glimmered under his now wrinkled brow. This hint of anger passed, as Eastern Wolf also relaxed his stance. -I see you found some local help.- Urnas spoke, more like a guttural growl than actual speech, but still it had an air of condescending arrogance. -When I moved through this hallway this door wasn’t closed, so I do not know how to open it, maybe your newfound guide has insight I lack.- There was a note of danger on Urnas voice, as if he was accusing Eastern Wolf of something, but the Cybernetic Canine didn’t seem to care about it and slowly walked towards the lever, the soft clinking of his metallic paws hitting the ground following him. Eastern Wolf stood up on his back legs and bit the large lever in the middle. For a moment he hanged on it, legs off the ground until finally, with a loud creaking, the lever fell down.
For a moment there was silence and Urnas took advantage to mock the newcomer. -This is what you get for picking up stray mutts in strange places, your education is certainly lacki- He didn’t manage to finish his snide comment as a loud clanging sound started echoing on the hallway, the sound of a chain being rolled down as the door started lowering, sinking into the floor and opening the path. -I'm morrre useful zan you kould be komrrrade Vampyrrr, even vithout booze.- Eastern Wolf snickered a reply, clearly enjoying himself, as Urnas reminded him a lot of the Vampire who used to work with him. -So damsels, shall ve prrroceed?- He gallantly asked with his cybernetic maw showing a smile, slowly it would get easier to get acclimated to such sinister sight, or maybe not. Either way the Cybernetic Canine was very pleased with himself. Urnas didn't seem to be enjoying himself and after locking an angry glare on Yuu, Martha and Jane, he vanished into shadows again.

Martha snorted when Urnas said he didn't know how to open the door and Eastern Wolf instantly pulled the lever. "What's the matter, twiggy arms can't flip a switch?" She snorted in passing, entering the large door first as Yuu had laid out in her plan. Yuu sighed, both at Martha's petty behavior and Urnas' disappearance. She had wanted to ask him more about his powers and weaknesses. Well, the newcomer was still here at least. "So, uh, Wolf. Without your weapon, what can you do? And is there anything especially dangerous to you we should watch out for?" She asked the mechanical canine, already considering where in her carefully constructed lineup to place him.

-I able of many zings my dearrr damsel- Eastern Wolf explained as he walked past the doorway. -I kan prrraise many beauties of univerrrse, I kan wrrrite poetrrry so delightful it vill brrring tearrrs to eyes.- He continued talking with a surprisingly charming tone, even through the metallic filter of his usual speech. -But I surrre you ask about battle, I know battle, I do not seek battle. My skin strrronger zan toughest steel, my claws kut thrrrough most metal in zis vorrrld and I kan howl whirrrling vinds orrr burrrning flames.- He did a rundown of his abilities without his weapon, seemingly whoever made him didn’t want him to be defenseless. The hallway kept moving forward until it reached a bifurcation. As they moved towards it Eastern Wolf replied to Yuu’s follow up question
-Scientist herrre smarrrt, zey kopy tech inside me to do zeirrr vorrrk. Not half bad homage, kould be better.- The Cybernetic Canine praised the work of the Soviet Scientist who found him -I zink you met volves, da? And bearrrs as vell... I do not know everrrything in komplex, da? I keep to myself dearrr damsel, otherrrs arrre horrrible konverrrsation parrrtnerrrs…- Eastern Wolf chuckled as he spoke, while he made a mental list of the beings he met. -Big slons...eh... Animals vith flappy earrr and trrrunk, kan't rrremember name in english. Dangerrrous like tanks, trrrunks spew firrre.- He might be talking of elephants or something akin to them. -And I kan’t forrrget lev, zose arrre skarrry, rrroarrr shatterrrs vindows, rrreally noisy. I zink you kall zose Lions.- As they arrived to the bifurcation he stopped as if he was deep in thought. -Haven't seen any morrre, but I vas asleep long time, I might not know everrryone.- He finished his explanation as he looked around.
Riku was doing the same, trying to see if there was something dangerous and when he noticed he let out a small shout of alarm. -EVERYBODY STOP MOVING!- His keen eyes, thanks to the flood cleaning the floors, noticed junctures among the floor tiles in front of them and towards both hallways. And quick scan of the area showed similar holes as before, with the Lighting Cage.

"Yes, we've met wolves and bears. No signs of lions or elephants yet, and hopefully it'll stay that way." She was already making plans, but she would have to actually meet these beings to finalize them. She really wasn't sure at all how to confront something that attacked with sound. Too bad Haven wasn't here. "So, you're saying you're the basis for all that experimentation. Does that mean that the Heart-" Yuu's question was interrupted by Riku yelling to stop. She spotted the tile on the floor, obvious now that the water had cleared away the years of dust covering it. She glanced between their options, other dolls following suit.
Chelsea alighted before the left hallway, peering into its black depths. She turned to the other and shook her head. "No souls either way, at least none near enough I can detect them. Even little moths and stuff aren't living this deep." Her eyes were still a brilliant blue, but now decorated with a slit pupil surrounded by three black dots that rotated in steady orbit around the pupil. Her demon's eyes picked up the souls of everybody in the group, including a strange one she hadn't looked at before. If a regular soul was a log, Urnas' was ash. It was a curious sight, one she hadn't seen before. Then again, she hadn't lived long. Perhaps there were many people like Urnas. She blinked and her eyes were back to normal. "There's nothing down either hallway except Urnas, and I can't even tell which way he fucking went. If I could, I'd vote we go the opposite!"
"I bet he went right. Most people would go right first. So I vote left!" Martha agreed. "I don't care which direction we go, just move." Marika grumbled. Yuu shrugged. The hallways were identical to her. "Unless you know better, Wolf, we're going left." She stepped around the trigger for the electric fence into the entrance to the left hallway. She considered lighting up the electric fence, but figured they might have to crawl back out this way if this turned out to be a dead end.

-Da, left alvays better zan rrright!- Eastern Wolf vehemently expressed his support for their direction. Riku only nodded with his head as the group started circling around the pressure plates. The Vengeful Boxer, trying to break the ice, or at least fill the silence tried to start small talk. -So I don’t really know what you all are, Shikishima said something about you being artificial, but I don’t quite get it.- Is just to say that he wasn’t great at it, but the curiosity about the Dolls finally got him and he had to ask. -I’m really new to the whole Hidden World situation, so I’m not familiar with the groups and organizations inside it, except for the one I’m part off.- Riku took something out from his inner pocket, showing an identification card given to every Ranked Spirit Boxer. -I’m a Spirit Boxer, we fight by channeling Fighting Spirit, something akin to Ki, if you know what that is, but variable to our emotions.- He calmly explained about the Fighting Spirit, basically a more psychologically reactive Ki.
They would easily reach the left hallway that extended towards the darkness with a very faint incline downwards.

The dolls shared a series of glances, internally debating what to reveal. Most of them were programmed so they couldn't even tell people what they were, Yuu being the only exception. "Marika?" Yuu deferred the matter to her creator, the one who sewed them all together. Marika thought for a second, then nodded. "Have you ever looked at people, Riku? I mean really looked at them, hard and long? They're all imperfect. Even the most flawless supermodel is marred by defects. But some people have a part that's perfect. Loathsome spiders can have beautiful eyes, have you ever noticed? Do you see Yuu's eyes?" Marika pointed at Yuu's eyes, deep black pools of warmth and comfort. They blinked in surprised at learning of their origin. They were from a spider?
"I free perfect parts from disgusting, imperfect people. My dolls I sew together from only the most impeccable limbs! Every eye, every leg, every fucking teat, flawless! And clad in my perfect clothing too!" Marika's voice rose until it seemed like she was having a fit, anger creeping in. "But they're never right... they never act right... and they're never grateful!" She screamed, glaring at Martha in particular before stomping away from Riku. "Yeah, that's about it. We're the end result of her killing sprees." Martha pulled up her sleeve to show off a thin line where her hand was stitched to her arm. "We've had some fun games of 'guess what she's made of'." Sidney said from atop Josefina's palm, leaning her head upside down between two fingers. "I guess now we know where Yuu's eyes were from. I had 20 on it being a dragon with Robin. So don't tell her, ey? She robs me enough as is." Her tone was awfully light for what was just said.
"Most of my parts are from demons from the dark corners of hell my soul will descend to." Chelsea said, eyes turning back into their demonic form to show off her point. "So are Jane's hands and some internal shit. Succubus or something." She jerked her thumb at the gloveless little doll. "Yeah... we're not sure about anybody else though except Callie, but she's not here." Jane shrugged.

Riku was a bit shocked about the revelation, he was expecting some weird, but not something like this. He knew how it felt to be casted aside by society, but he never heard off somebody casting aside bodies to keep perfect parts. Riku only knew of improving his own body, never even considered using spare parts from other to enhance his own power. In fact it was something unthinkable to him, yet he decided to remain silent, realizing that attempting a philosophical discussion with Marika about the road to perfection was basically inviting a catastrophe to befall him. He wasn’t like those crazy “Guts Type” Spirit Boxer who punched first and asked questions never, so he only tried to analyze the information in case that one day he might meet them in battle, maybe attacking the stitches was a good idea, with enough cutting power.
Eastern Wolf smiled. -Da, artificial is way to go! Whoever created me had same idea! They took marvelous brain from old head and put it inside shiny body.- The Cybernetic Canine then turned to face Yuu, as the group moved down the hallway. -You verrre asking about Hearrrt, rrright damsel?- Eastern Wolf expression changed, the closest one could consider it was him being kind of confused. -Hearrrt kame beforrre me, I zink zat Hearrrt is what brrrought me herrre damsel... I do not know if its naturrral orrr just something made in accident…- His voice became lower and more enigmatic. -I zink Hearrrt is doorrr, doorrr to wherrre I kome frrrom orrr to other place, I only saw glimpse of it and I kould not underrrstand it... Like glass floating in darrrkness, tvisting and strrretching like rrrubber band. And I knov I vas not alone vhen I came thrrrough...- As he kept explaining a very faint glow started appearing in the distance, it had a greenish hue, dying the walls with a sickening radiance. The buzzing that accompanied the light interrupted Wolf's train of thought.
There was an open door at the end of the hallway, unlike every door yet this one was smaller, and had a strange glass tube coming through the wall beside it. The tube climbed the wall and lost itself through another wall after making a turn. The light came from inside, shifting intensity as if something rippled across it.

Jane looked sympathetically at Riku. "Sorry you had to hear it that way. But please, don't judge us for it." She spoke simply before retreating back to her position. She wasn't bold enough to say more. He could get mad. Or think she was awful, which was also bad. She was surprised to come back in on a major revelation. "You're from another universe!?" She sprang with excitement. Wolf was scary, but that was too amazing! "A portal!?" Yuu's composure snapped like a rubber band stretched too far.
Her mind instantly jumped to a conclusion, a terrifyingly possible one. "He's going to bring more of those things into the world! Things like Cadence's monster!" What other use would they have for a portal? Marika, we can't do this." She demanded, but Marika didn't even turn around. "I don't care what he's doing with it. I want those parts and breaking the deal will just get us in trouble you can't get us out of." She flippantly tossed her hand. Yuu steamed, but she turned her gaze away. She wasn't changing her mind. "So, Mr. Wolf, you say this isn't your original body. What was it before? Human? Canine? ...other?" She thought of the horrible glassy eyes of Industrial Poison and shuddered. No, Wolf didn't seem like that. Not to say she entirely trusted him, but he certainly didn't make her skin crawl like that thing.
No, what was making her skin crawl was the strange green light at the end of the hall. She lifted a hand for a halt to the march and pointed at Sidney. Sidney yawned and floated off of Josefina's palm, silently hovering down the hall. She paused before reaching the door to inspect the glass tube. It didn't appear to have anything to do with the light. After a close look, she crept gently to the door and peered within.

-Da, I frrrom differrrent univerrrse, I alrrready told you zat.- Wolf was clearly irritated as he clearly stated he was from another world before in the conversation. His irritation slowly faded as he kept talking. -I vas man once, I serrrved glorrrious arrrmy of parrrty durrring sekond grrreat varrr. I vas condekorrrated and zen offerrred myself as voluntarrry forrr experrriment.- There was a tinge of nostalgia on the Cybernetic Canine as he talked. The group suddenly stopped and Eastern Wolf stopped remembering the past, realizing he needed to live in the present. He never entered this room as most of his time was spent on the lower levels of the complex.
Upon closer inspection Sidney, depending on the level of her general knowledge, might realize that the glass tube was one of the old-school message sending pneumatic tubes, surely used for communication on the complex. If there was a tube coming into this room it meant that most assuredly this room was a place where information was acquired, stored or received. The Lazy Doll peek inside the room revealed a large circular room without any other doors apart from this one, there were dozens if not hundreds of monitors covering every inch of walls. Most of them were broken but a good amount, between 10 and 20, were still on, some with black screens and green text, others showing security camera footage.
The room was more or less 10 mts in diameter with a good 1-2 meters out of the walls occupied by the equipment. There were a couple of skeletons with rags sitting on the 2 of the 3 chairs.

"You just said you weren't from around here, there's a difference." Jane mumbled, lowering her head and backing away to avoid confrontation. "World War 2... That was quite a while ago. At least in our universe." Yuu mused. She decided not to tell him of the fate of the Soviet Union in the meantime. He seemed quite attached to it. And it seemed in whatever universe he was from, it was a good deal more advanced. Perhaps it hadn't collapsed there.
"I always have to make them accept upgrades. I appreciate somebody grateful for improvement." Marika huffed. She occasionally tweaked the dolls when she found suitable parts or the whim simply struck her. They never accepted the changes of course, but that was never an obstacle for her. "I'm almost tempted to add machinery to some of them, but it would clash with my aesthetics. Except maybe something bronze for Sidney. It would match the coat..." Marika began taking mental notes.
Sidney had no knowledge of the older tech, popular long before her creator was born. The inside of the room was more familiar. "Guys, it's fine! Just some computers!" Sidney called from the door, floating inside to look at the working monitors while the others caught up. She was more interested in the ones with text than the security footage. That didn't seem to show all that much. If somebody was controlling the cyborgs, they weren't doing it from here. While reading what she could of the text (potentially none, as she didn't speak a word of Russian), she checked if she could fix the monitors. Mid way through attempting, she remembered what was in her pocket and smiled. If she placed a cyborg transmitter in a security monitor, could she see through the eyes of other cyborgs? Crazy, but possible. She attempted to pop open a working monitor and make the combination.
