"Aw. Well, okay then. Have fun, Loveline." Cosmina turned back to her graphic novel, frowning deeply. Her light body lurched when the plane seats changed positions to circle Arthur. Cosmina waved at Arthur, smiling broadly. "Hi Arthur! Good to see you again!" Arthur was the second best grown up ever, after her mom of course. In fact, it was giving her an idea. Cosmina eyed her mother and kicked her feet in excitement. Yes! It was perfect! Cosmina leaned close to her sister and nudged her. "Hey, Kate!" She whispered. "I have the best idea ever!"
Marceline found herself right across from Cosmina when her chair moved into place and gave another weak wave for her sister. Her relatively good mood was spoiled by the harsh noise from Angelo's scythe. The grating sound ground right up on her nerves, making her headache peak. "Fix whatever the hell is doing that, buddy or I'll break it enough that it stops doing it." She glared at the paladin with her lone eye. She didn't need this ruining her vacation.
"Resort?" There was genuine confusion in Ron's voice before the chairs began to move. He had to choke back a scream. It was harmless. Just showmanship. He hunched lower in his seat when Arthur displayed his intent. If he was going to be caught, now would be the time. At least there wasn't much they could do to him at this point. At worst they'd tie him up until they go there to hand him over to the authorities. Still, introducing himself was tricky. His "last name" was unpleasant, and he thought he caught this guy was involved with an electronics company. He'd recognize it for sure.
Jenifer was jolted awake by the moving chair. She shook off her dreams. Good thing she had told Amelia she'd be touch and go. In her sleepy haze, she saw a weird short guy standing in the middle aisle of the plane. Introductions? Was this her boss? She got the impression he was older. And taller. She yawned and waved, marking herself as first to be introduced. "I'm Jenifer Slate. I'm an employee at the resort. Only on this plane because I was hired last minute." She quickly admitted, getting it out of the way that she was outranked by all of them.

Vladimir held his briefcase firmly as the seats began to move. Finding himself face to face with each passenger, he reaffirmed his theory again: This wasn't going to be a pleasant trip... or neither a vacation.
He listened to Jenifer, he felt sympathy for the poor employee, it should be something very new star in a luxurious plane for the first time and being introduced first. By some reasons, the whole situation was a bit hilarious as he observed Marceline and Angelo, probably the scythe was an old classic weapon even if it had that grating sound if it was his scythe he couldn't throw it! Probably it was a nostalgic feeling, every weapon has his story. As he noticed the confusion on Ron's voice, the old paladin couldn't help himself by asking the boy - I'm sorry... Are you alright? - The man said with concern in his voice.
He wasn't sure to introduce himself yet, he decided to wait. Probably someone wanted to talk first

"High school is great! There are tons of clubs, sports, and people to be friends with! Homework still is a pain though..." Kate says to Hazel, wobbling in her seat in surprise as the plane's interior began to transform. Haruko watched as nobody else seemed to want to introduce themselves besides Jennifer, whom she gave a small nod to once she sat down. The seamstress then stood up and gave a small wave to the other passengers. "Hello everyone. I'm Haruko Miyata, professional seamstress and creator of the Miyata clothing line. These are my daughters; Kate..." Kate gave a small wave when her name was called. "...and Cosmina." She let Cosmina do any sort of response she wanted.
"I've known Arthur for a few years now, so I look forward to getting to know you all!" And with that, Haruko sat back down. Kate was already leaning over at Cosmina, whispering quietly. "What's the idea?" She asks with slight suspicion in her voice.

Angelo finished a Lord’s Prayer as the empty seats disappeared and the entire layout of the plane shifted at its owner’s command. But it wasn’t until one of the women with peculiar souls spoke to him, that he opened his eyes. Mostly because of the surprise it was to learn that she could see his Scythe, cloaked by one of his spells, and even hear the wailing he could only sense. Despite the shock, the priest remained motionless, his silver eyes barely squinting at the eye patched woman without a hint of emotion.
He quickly scanned the room. It seemed that the others could see it, an older man with one of the less corrupted souls had stared at it for a couple of moments without much interest. The spell he had casted on the Scythe didn’t turn the weapon completely invisible, it simply intervened and twisted the viewer perception. A simple man would notice that Angelo carried something on his back but wouldn’t consider it interesting enough to see what it actually was. The fact that those creatures could see the weapon should mean that they had means to ignore the spell… or their perception of the world differed from regular humans. As it was his first mission related to the Hidden World, Angelo had not considered that possibility. It was useless to hide it now. “I apologize for the inconvenience, signora” Through his emotionless and thick Italian accent, the words seemed forced as they left his mouth, as he was a man of few words. Almost none. The woman interested him. He had never met anyone who could hear the screams of his soul Scythe and see it so easily. To fulfill correctly the contract he had taken, he would need all the information he could gather about the unknown abilities of the inhabitants of the Hidden World.
“What’s your name?” he asked slowly. He fixed his eyes on the doll’s face, yet he didn’t look at her in the eyes. He blankly stared at bridge of her nose, without really watching. As souls gave more information than expressions, Angelo didn’t need to see whoever he spoke too. It was by force of habit that he had learned to fake eye contact that way, as it was forced into him by his teachers and masters when he was still in training in order to hide his nature.

These people were apparently too hesitant to introduce themselves. The only ones who did so were Haruko, whom he already knew everything he wanted to know about, and an employee. Wait, an employee? What the hell is an employee doing on this flight?
He leaned over to Alma and whispered to his secretary, "Why's there an employee on this flight? Weren't they all supposed to be at the ski resort already?"
"We had to make some last minute hires to make sure we aren't understaffed. But none were supposed to be here. There must have been a mix-up somewhere."
"Well, it's too late to get her on a different flight, but she can't be here for our discussion. Take her to the back and have her fill out a form or something."
Alma went over to the employee and grabbed her attention, "Excuse me, but there appears to have been a mix-up in the flight arrangements. I need you to come to the back with me and answer a few questions."
Arthur watched the two go to the back section of the plane. Then he turned his attention back to his guests. Since they were so hesitant to speak, they must not have understood why he wanted them to introduce themselves. He didn't want to reveal too much about the situation, but it was clear that they needed at least a bit of motivation.
"Alright everyone, I'm sure you noticed in the contracts you signed that this trip isn't completely free. I need a favor from you. But I don't want to burden your minds with it until the time comes for such things. I want you to enjoy your vacation as much as you can, after all. But it is necessary that we know what everyone can do. So let me start off with myself. I'm Arthur Cromwell, your host, and I'm an ice mage who's good with swords and fists. See? Not that hard at all. Now, everyone except the kids should do the same. So who wants to go next?"

Cosmina pointed at Arthur. "We should get Arthur-" She crossed her other arm over her chest to point at Haruko. "To date Mom! It'll be great! We can have Love and Hazel be our sisters and be the coolest family ever!" She declared her genius plan in a hushed whisper, only audible to Haruko if she purposefully leaned over to listen in.
Ron looked at the ceiling when Alma mentioned a potential mix up. That was probably his fault, given how he had influenced the staff of the airport to move passengers to this flight. He breathed a sigh of relief when Jenifer was moved off. Prison would mean free food for a while, but he would rather not have to work on a breakout before they paid somebody to shiv him. He was bought more time again by another person piping up. "Why not the kids!? I'm Cosmina Miyata and I can use sonar with my horns as well as sonic attacks, so whatever you want to do, I'll be useful!" The green haired kid yelled at Arthur.
"Marceline. I grow stronger the more pain I'm in and can make pain worse." Marceline gave her information to the group in general as well as specifically to Angelo. "Just make sure it doesn't happen again." She finished, just for him this time, and turned away. Ron found himself emboldened by Marceline's introduction. Last names weren't necessary! That made this much easier. "Ronald. I can cloak myself in armor if I have to. I also have some nanobots that have a few tricks I guess." He purposefully withheld anything further. Let them see for themselves if they managed to drag him into something.
Jenifer walked with Alma with no resistance, rubbing her eyes. The only thing keeping her even slightly alert was a sharp feeling of worry buried somewhere in her gut, like she swallowed a needle. "Did I do something wrong?" She couldn't afford to be fired like that! Not now!

Vladimir took a deep breath, not accustomed to raise his voice but knowing that he should introduce himself anyway, he had no choice but to speak. Accommodating his briefcase, holding it firmly; the ex-paladin introduced himself.
My name is Vladimir Kearney, I used to be a paladin 20 years ago... maybe I look a bit rusty but I'm willing to help you
His soft and gentle voice had managed to hide his nerves, it was humiliating that being an adult man still reacted that way, but the worst thing was that he hadn't read the conditions of the trip before signing... he would never again believe his friends that "It wasn't necessary to read it if it says vacation"

Angelo sat quietly as the every passenger listed their abilities and names, taking his eyes off Marceline without much interest after her answer. The word “paladin” resounded on his mind and his silver eyes shifted to the older man sitting across of him. He examined Vladimir face for a moment, taking a glance into his glowing silver soul. A kind hearted one, but something inside seemed off. That man wasn’t his target.
The priest waited for his turn and held the thick, cold silver steel that crossed his back. “Angelo. I wield a scythe and I’m proficient with various spells” he said, blankly. The thought of concealing his abilities wasn’t even considered. “You shall not bear false witness”. A commandment which was seared in his mind… and the skin of his back. After his brief introduction, he returned to his stiff stance and kept studying the surrounding members of the Hidden World.

Kate's eyes widened in horror at Cosmina's suggestion, then turned her expression into a frown. "No! No more siblings! What we have now is great!" Kate whispered. She had enjoyed being an only child after Haruko adopted her, but suddenly had her mother's attention split when Cosmina entered the picture. Last thing she wants now is for more people to shove her out of the way or be a pain to live with! Haruko was paying attention to everyone else introducing themselves, so she wasn't hearing the current conversation between Kate and Cosmina. Arthur said he didn't need an introduction from her, so Kate decided to stay down and let Cosmina shout out information while she turned back to her phone. It was amazing how there was still reception on a plane!

As everyone introduces herself, Leora waits patiently for her turn. And thanks to everyone's incredible short and cute little introductions it is her turn in no time. "~Hello everyone!~" She started off with a somewhat high pitch valley tone, before quickly before returning to her usual vocal mannerism as she continues to introduce herself, "Now, I'm already familiar with some of you, and for those who don't know me yet, my name is Leora Clair, and while my story may not be the most exciting one, I was fortunate enough to have been given a second chance at life. And before you ask, yes it happens to come with me receiving some special abilities. I know, its a bit cliche," she said with a few giggles at her own expense before she continues to say, "Honestly, I probably couldn't have ask for a better outcome for my circumstances. Before, I wasn't someone who could really make a difference, and that would bother me whenever I saw someone in need of help. But now I can use my gifts to be useful to other people. Anyway, I hope we can all get along." After a few seconds she adds, "Also, if anyone is interested, I have some fun ice breakers we can play." She scans the cabin eagerly to see who wants to play a game with her in order to "warm-up" the group, and make everyone more comfortable with each other.

"Don't worry, don't worry. You didn't do anything wrong. Accidents happen, paperwork gets displaced, it can't be helped. No, all I need is some basic information so I can relay it to the staff manager if it so happens we can't find your data," Alma said. "I don't have the necessary forms here though, so I'll just ask you a few questions and write it down for now." She took the notepad and pen she always carries with her and sat down, inviting Jenifer to do the same if she'd be more comfortable. "We already know your name, Miss (or is it Mrs.?) Jenifer Slate. What position have you be filling at the resort? Do you have previous experience with similar work? Have you applied for the one season or for the full-time contract? And do you have any medical issues that may impact your work?"
Alma listed off question as they came to her in the most professional tone she could muster. This is one unexpected thing they never imagined could happen. In retrospect, they probably should have. She hoped at least that this made up setback wouldn't ruin the image the young employee had of her employers.
Once everyone finished their introductions, Arthur nodded. Some were shorter then others, but the important stuff was out there.
"I'm Loveline Cromwell, I can make illusions and transform in more way then one." Arthur's daughter said, before Arthur had a chance to open his mouth. He looked at her with an obvious frown and she shot back a rebellious glance. Arthur somehow stopped himself from sighing.
"Yes, well. It's a pleasure to meet you all or to see you again for those to whom it may apply. Again, I hope most of your vacation is going to pass by in blissful peace. You may now adjust your seats whoever you please via those buttons next to your arm rests. You can also find three entertainment buttons there. One will bring up a game console with a selection of video games. The middle button brings up the collection of movies prepared for your enjoyment. And the final button will bring up our digital library with various books in five different languages, if you are of the more studious sort. Alternatively, I'm sure Leora's activities can be just as fun. And once we are in the air, you will be provided with menus if you desire an in-flight meal which, I assure you, is a lot better then what stories of airline food might have lead you to believe."
Then he got up. "Excuse me for a moment. I have to take care of something in the back." He went to where Jenifer and Alma were to inform them they could come back now.

"It's miss." Jenifer answered the first question, worry fading away. These questions wouldn't be a problem at all. "I'm going to be doing housekeeping with a possible opening for cooking later. I have been working as a maid at a motel for the last two years, so yes, I would say so. I applied for a season with a clause for renegotiating if I prove myself in the kitchen. As for medical conditions, I'm a lycanthrope. I turn on the night of the full moon and very rarely at random. I have it in my contract that I'll have a two way teleport bracelet to a safe room for my transformations." She was most worried about this qualification when applying for the job, but luckily with a big company, they already had stuff like that ready for use.
She looked up when Arthur entered the back room. "Hello sir. I'm sorry to inconvenience your secretary like this." She bowed her head slightly. It was weird calling a kid her boss. Well, he looked like a kid. He carried himself like an adult. The implication she got was that he was an adult trapped in a younger body. Maybe a vampire or something, turned before he grew up. It would be kind of funny for a lycanthrope to work under a vampire. The thought turned her fake smile into a real one and she extended a hand. "I look forward to working under you, sir."
Marceline snorted at Leora's suggestion, but looking around, there were a few people she would like to get information from. "Sure, Leora. So long as Vladimir, Angelo and Ron join in." She looked suspiciously at them, especially Ron. Ron growled and glared at the cyclopean doll, recognizing her from the double date he had with Huntsman. "I have nothing to hide, if that's what you're implying." He snarled. "Nah, I just don't know you guys. What's your game, Leora?" Marceline's voice was still riddled with suspicion. Ron clearly wasn't supposed to be here.
Cosmina on the other hand was too busy with Kate to play games. "But we'd have two parents to give attention! And you know Arthur would love to give us attention! He's great!" She insisted, shaking her sister as if it would make her ideas sink in better.

Vladimir listened intently to Leora's words; she seemed a pleasant and very outgoing girl. As she developed her introduction, the paladin couldn’t help but draw a nostalgic grin. Finding yourself in a situation where life gives you a second chance is almost considered a miracle, especially if that young woman had been given new skills; surely she was living her life to the fullest. His eyes went to the briefcase he held firmly; in that object was his study, that small place where he carried out his investigations. It had been 21 years, right? And yet that was the only thing he thought most of the time, despite his little visit to Ireland to talk to a seeker, those fears were constantly returning... How were those kids managing their lives? Were they on the right track? They were happy? All these kinds of questions invaded him all the time, perhaps for that reason in that short period of time; his appearance had aged a little after almost 300 years.
He awoke from his thoughts when Loveline introduced herself. Even nowadays children were so eloquent; it was certainly the result of a good education and affection so kids like her grew up with an extraordinary confidence in themselves. No doubt Mr. Cromwell was an exceptional father ... or at least that seemed for now, he didn’t like to judge people too soon.
Vladimir shrugged the moment his host mentioned the functionality of the buttons, the technology was not his specialty. He decided that it would be the best to stay away from them and not touch them, even if MR. Cromwell had explained it just minutes before, the paladin was no longer sure what those little things did anymore. After Leora insisted to play a game, the paladin agreed. He just hoped they wouldn’t ask him about technology... otherwise he’ll be messed up.

Kate was mostly ignoring the introductions as Cosmina continued trying to convince her of this ridiculous plan. "No! I do not want any of them!" Kate whispered back, shaking Cosmina as well in response. Haruko looks over at the two of them and places her hands on top of their heads. "No fighting, please. What seems to be the issue?" "Nothing! Nothing at all!" Kate responded. Haruko nodded her head and rolled her eyes slightly. "Well ok then. Just remember to have good behavior, as we were invited by my friend Frosty." She said, accentuating the 'friend' part, which made Kate breathe a sigh of relief. She had heard them!
Looking over at Cosmina, Kate motioned toward everyone else in the room. "So...want to play a game with people? We did bring a few." She stated, morning toward her bag and phone. Hazel and Loveline were probably bored as well!

Clapping her hands together in excitement, Leora proceeds to share the name of the game, "I'm sure all of you have have played it before. If not, I bet you heard of this game. Its called 'Two Truths and A Lie.' Just as the title says, everyone will have to say three statements. Two truths and one lie about yourself. How this is going to work is each person gets a turn to tell the whole group their truths and a lie. Afterwards, the rest of us have to figure out which of the things you told us about yourself is false. The group votes on which one they feel is a lie, and at the end of each round, the person reveals which one was the lie." She glance around the room as she tries to read everyone's reactions. "If no one minds, I'll like to start things off." She clears her throat softly. "I have never been on a plane before today. I have been to every single country in the world. And I have time travel to the past," she finished with a cute and devilish smile. Believing her three statements will surely trick the group. Though her real hope isn't to end up alluding everyone to her false statement, but rather that the group can start to become more friendly to each other. "Now, who would like to go next?"

Angelo leaned back against his seat once the introductions were over, his scythe now grasped protectively on his hands as its low and dangerous screech hummed between his fingers. He had listened intently to the introductions, mostly with professional interest as the information would be useful later on and with just a slight taint of surprise. The Crusade often received report of the heretic activities and powers of the Hidden World, concealed to the public by certain organizations, but he had never encountered them in person. He studied them with cold interest, relating their powers to the creatures and demons he had read about in his studies, believing he could find weaknesses there.
Deep in thought, he stared blankly at the screen and three buttons. With stiff and automated movements, not used to this kind of artifacts, he pushed the middle button a few times until he found an old film depicting the birth and early years of Jazz and mechanically put some earphones. After a few minutes, a kind observer would notice that even though the priest’s eyes were not on the screen, his head wobbled slightly, almost imperceptible, to the rhythm and his stiff stance seemed to relax just a bit. Angelo gazed drifted from group to group and lingered on the youthful and cheerful woman who proposed a game. The priest wouldn’t and didn’t answer but he carefully pulled one of his earplugs and listened to the conversation. Something deep inside of him, a tiny part long forgotten, was somewhat taken back by the whole situation. That kind of game reminded him of his early years, of the orphanage in which he had grown. Pleasant memories, tainted by the ones that followed them.
The priest didn’t join the game, but he did pay attention to the souls of those around him. He needed to know how and if they would change as the lied. Maybe those degenerate and sinful creatures could lie without the slight flinch of their souls. That information would be vital to avoid a difficult situation.

Leora traveled back in time, Loveline knew that much. Having visited every country in the world seemed so unlikely, it had to be true! She figured this couldn't be the first time Leora was on a plane!
"Alright, my turn. I remember everything that happened to me since I was five. I have a giant toy dragon called Draco. And I had to stop my sister from riding an orca at an aquarium once." Loveline hoped she didn't make it too hard to guess. But she also worried that she perhaps made it too obvious.
In the meantime, Arthur shook Jenifer's hand. "I appreciate your enthusiasm, Miss Slate." He cast a quick glance toward Alma when he said miss, and she subtly nodded. "Now, I assume you have everything you need?"
"Um, yes, sir," Alma said, "This will help retrieve the file we need once we land."
"Wonderful. You should rejoin the rest in the front. It seems they just started playing a game. I'll bring out the in-flight service soon."
Two Hours Later
After the planes landed in the small town near the resort, a small fleet of buses drove all the passengers to their destination. Arthur wasn't pleased with this mode of transportation since he wanted to impress everyone, and putting all his guests on a bus seemed quite plain after the plane, although he had to admit it was far more practical then getting limousines for so many people.
Regardless, they were finally at the resort and if anyone had complaints about the trip from town to here, they were struck mute by the visage of the large structure. It was a collection of three large seemingly wooden structures. They currently found themselves in front of the largest one. It was tall and wide enough to easily house at least a thousand people. The sign at the very top read "Arlon's Haven".
"Whew, I guess we're finally here," Loveline said.
"Indeed. Alma, I'll escort our HWPs to their rooms. You take Miss Slate to join the rest of the workforce." Arthur once again appeared as an adult. He had to, for only a select few knew of his affliction. But a teenage Arthur was still with the group; Loveline made an illusion to serve as the son and eldest child of the Cromwell family. Now, the Cromwells led everyone into the housing building.
The reception room was large and covered in white and black tiles. In the center of the room was a fountain depicting three life-sized figures in togas standing at the center, squirting water out of palms raised into the air. The first figure was a smiling child, the second a pregnant woman, and the third an old, proud-looking woman. Around the edge of the fountain stood much 12 much smaller figures, all men dressed in different outfits and spitting water into the fountain. Four sofas in a rectangular formation were positioned around the fountain and there was a seat between each sofa serving as the rectangle's corners.
In the north-most wall was the reception desk staffed by three smiling receptionists. Next to the desk was a set of stairs leading up. On the east and west walls were four elevators each, separated into pairs by sets of stairs.
"Alright, let's all go check in. We have three receptionists for a reason, you know. We'll group up at the right-side elevators." Arthur in his adult form went to one of the receptionists to check in. He didn't need to get a key; the Cromwell's room was a little different from everyone else's. When a couple of bellboys ran up to them, appearing seemingly out of nowhere, Arthur just waved them away. They could take their stuff up on their own. The others could use them more then the Cromwells.
In the meantime, Alma gestured for Jenifer to follow her as she went to the housekeeping manager. He was located in the leftmost building, which also happened to be the smallest of the three buildings, and which was connected to the main house by a tunnel the inside of which was painted to depict an autumn scene. For guests, the place only served a food-related purpose. However, it was also where the hotel staff was staying.
When they reached the manager, Alma explained the situation to him. The short, mustachioed man nodded and looked at Jenifer. "Jenifer Slate. Yes, yes, I remember reading the file! Wonderful, wonderful, welcome!" The man spoke with a heavy french accent, but his voice was jovial and up-beat. "Come, come, I will show you to your room. Let's not bother one of our guests too long. Enjoy your stay, Miss Baxter!" He waved enthusiastically to which the secretary nodded and went back to join the special guests.

"Thank you, sir." Jenifer shook Arthur's hand, noting his tough fingers. This was a man who used a weapon. She wondered if he could feel the same in her fingers. Jenifer stood and made her way back to her seat. People were talking, but she didn't really pick it up. The sleepiness was spreading through her body again, only staved off long enough to answer her questions. Within seconds of sitting down, she was back to the sunny hill in her head.
"Yeah, nothing's wrong. And I don't think Leora's been to every country and I don't think Hazel's tried to ride an orca!" Cosmina declared over the seat. Marceline leaned back with a scowl and eyed the other nonparticipants. "If they're not joining, I'm going back to my music." Marceline turned on the headphones again and sank into a musical bliss. Ron just huffed and turned away. He gripped his stomach. If he didn't get some metal in him in the next hour, he was going to take a bite out of Angelo's scythe.
Ron and Marceline left the plane in much better moods. Ron had devoured two soda cans with his meal and had begun work fixing his wings inside his body. Marceline had filled her soul with music. Screamy, angry music. Still, her chronic headache wasn't really helped by pressure changes, and the mountain cold was already getting to her. She huddled to herself in a corner of the bus, while Cosmina sat with her sister and mother, staring out the window the whole ride. Jenifer just worked at the kink she had developed in her neck from resting it funny during the plane ride until the bus finally came to a stop.
She split away from the group with Alma. The main lobby was pretty standard, but the autumn tunnel was quite wonderful to her. Fall was wonderful back at Gateway. It smelled nicer than any other time, pumpkin spice and pumpkin alike in the air and her outfit not hot and sticky in the summer sun or under a thick coat. It delighted her more to hear a French accent. Living in Canada, even western Canada, let her meet several French people. This was just like home. She had even taken French for her language credit. She sucked, but she had still tried. "Thank you, sir. I can start working as soon as I get my bags to my room if you need me too." She made a short bow. Oh god I hope I don't have to. I can barely stand right now.

Leora hopes that everyone could get to know and become more comfortable with each other during the game. Yet as they play she notices that a few people are still keeping to themsevles. As they get off the plane she makes a mental note to herself to talk to them at some point during this trip. As they make their way to the resort her eyes were glued to the window of the bus as she stares in awe. "This place is beautiful," she said to herself. By the time they reach the Arlon's Haven Leora is more than ready to enjoy her mini-vacation. When she enters the lobby she is greeted by a bellboy. "Its fine." she told one of the bellboys when he offer to help her. "After all, I'm just carrying one suitcase. Its no big deal." Afterwards she cheerfully walks up to one of the receptionists and begins to check herself in.

The plane ride was largely uneventful; Haruko tuned out with her headphones, listening to a podcast on her computer. Kate joined into the Two Truths and a Lie game with the rest and thought about the two current challenges on the table. "Uh...you haven't been on a plane before today!" Was it possible she's been to every country just using teleport scrolls and ground technology. Wait...she specified planes! Did Leora have some kind of flying chariot?! "And uh...Hazel hasn't tried to ride an orca! She seems too responsible for that!" Kate beamed. Surely those were the correct answers!

Once they arrived at their destination, Haruko and her kids took the bus to the lodge and promptly checked in with the receptionist, Haruko handing both Cosmina and Kate a room key. "Don't lose these, alright?" She told the both of them. Regroup at the right side elevators...Haruko glanced around and found them. She saw a couch nearby to the meeting spot and sat down, watching as the rest of the guests checked into their rooms. "Quite the interesting group of people, huh?" She asked her kids. Kate nodded her head at the question. "Yeah, but cool people too! That guy has a scythe." She declares, motioning toward Angelo. Haruko winced slightly at Kate's declaration and leaned over. "You really shouldn't say stuff like that too loudly. Might cause some people to be nervous." She whispered, with Kate begrudgingly nodding her head.
