Round one, Marceline wins. She's more accustomed to fighting unarmed than Shin, and nonlethal punching and kicking will get her hurting enough she vastly overpowers him without risking knocking her out.
Round two, Shin cuts her to pieces. Marceline uses a bat out of it being cheap and easy to use. Shin is at least decently trained and experienced with his swords, and with two of him, Marceline will be in too many pieces to be a threat.
Next battle!
Jun vs. Callis. Callis has original swords from Centris, fight is in the Ogre hall from Hands.

This battle is pretty close. Callis has much more experience than Jun in combat, but Jun has her scales that Callis can't cut through. So the win condition for Callis would be to identify and attack the parts that aren't covered in scales enough times, while Jun simply has to hit Callis once and wait him out. With that in mind; I'd give it to Jun 60% of the time. Her win condition is easier, and Callis doesn't have his blades that might have been able to pierce the scales.
Next fight!
Gem Girls(Haruko, Ariana, Loveline) vs Evil Gem Girls(Yamiko, Abijah)
Everyone is in character and starts in their transformed states. Fight is in the Ogre Hall from Big Strong Hands.
Round 1: Standard fight, win via death or KO Round 2: The 'good' side gets John Chandler on their side...dressed as Tuxedo Mask.

This is a complicated one, but I give the heroes a slight edge in round one and a bigger one in round two.
Abijah can make five of herself at a time. Ariana would flee the hall to gain access to the snow around it and get two Abijah clones after her. Two more would fight Love and one more would help Yamiko fight Haruko. While the heroes are outnumbered, their powers are well suited for fighting groups and light based attacks harm Abijah especially badly.
Team evil might still win if Abijah keeps Ariana outside long enough, but if Ariana quickly kills them with the snow, she can join the fight again. As Abijah lacks ranged attacks and Ariana is physically the strongest person here, she's extremely dangerous to Abijah. Also not helping is that Yamiko isn't a team player and might attack Abijah if it looks like she'll kill Haruko first.
Round two adds in another member for the good team, taking pressure off the others so they aren't ganged up on so hard. His friendly fire might also drain the energy Yamiko uses in her light constructs. They're in much worse shape with him around.
NEXT BATTLE!
Pitch vs. Martha
Underground fighting ring, start at opposite ends. Martha doesn't have shock gauntlets.
|
|
|
Post by Kuma on Dec 8, 2017 0:57:14 GMT
This one is difficult, Pitch did win a fight against Jose, but it was a boxing match without other powers, so Jose couldn't use his Earthbending skills. She has a ton of durability, a very impressive knock-out punch and possibly the edge in mobility by a slight margin. Martha is a pretty good fighter, has longer reach than Pitch plus her biological advantage as a doll make a lot of Pitch offensive mute.
Still I think that is a 6/4 in favor of Pitch, she is tough as nails, is a bit less chaotic than Martha and has a better grasp of hand to hand combat. But Martha's unpredictability stops the gap from becoming larger.
Mizuki (Alex Miyata's Bodyguard) vs Yuu
They fight in the Dimensional Waypoint in Lazarus (The room with the doors and screwy physics) And they start in mid-range (20 mts)
|
|
|
Post by Vapovile on Dec 8, 2017 2:47:32 GMT
I'll give this to Mizuki 7/10 times. There isn't anything Yuu can catch on fire inside the Dimensional Waypoint, and Mizuki's primary skill is her speed. Mizuki can also use her mask powers to increase her reaction speed when close to Yuu to blitz the doll. Yuu beats her in most other stats, but the speed difference might be a little too much here.
Next up; Wild Hunt civil war!
Team Eve: Eve(with fire grenades), Garo and Gem Girl Ariana Team Huntsman: Huntsman, Amai and Becky(no Gilgamesh)
Winner via death or KO. Fight takes place in a wooded area with a small lake nearby. Starting distance is 20 meters.
Bonus round: Falken is added to Team Eve and Alex is added to Team Huntsman

|
Post by HungryHunter on Mar 22, 2018 22:23:12 GMT
Team Huntsman round one, but it's close, 6/10 for them.
Eve quickly kills Huntsman with a fire grenade, but Amai would gun for her quickly, stopping Ariana from running off to the lake and fighting around there. Amai would be effective against both, while Garo and Becky are not too badly mismatched, with Garo possibly killing Becky. However, Amai's powers of attraction are really effective on Eve and the teenager Ariana. The result depends on how injured Amai already is when Garo beats Becky, or if Becky or Garo are the one that fatally gets the drop on the other.
Bonus round swings in Eve's favor and isn't as close, more of a 8/10. Alex is really useful, but not in this direct conflict. Falken's variety of weapons will make Amai much easier to put down, and Eve will have him focus on her to make sure of her early defeat. Huntsman is burnt away just like in the first scenario, leaving Becky and Alex alone. Becky has more direct fighting ability than Alex, but neither is as much a powerhouse as Eve, Falken or Ariana. Even if they go hiding and making traps, that's risky with Garo helping out.
Winning scenario for their team is Amai managing to kill a few of the other team, softening them up for Alex and Becky. Becky could probably use Alex's wire javelins very well, but both would have a hard time actually killing Eve.
NEXT FIGHT
Ikari vs. Lance! Location: Osaka college courtyard (where Ikari fought Sid and Crow) 10 meters apart.
|
|
|
Post by Kuma on Mar 24, 2018 2:12:04 GMT
Ikari would destroy Lance. Ikari is close to Reiji level. Plus Lance arrogance and scorn for everybody would only feed Ikari. Curbstomp, and Ikari would actually look for a place to literally curbstomp Lance, because that's the kind of insane bastard Ikari is.
Next Fight
Gianni Arachne vs Jane Arachne.
First Round: Without Powers Second Round: With Powers
Combate Zone: Shopping Mall

Post by Vapovile on Mar 24, 2018 2:37:27 GMT
Gianni would destroy in both rounds. Jane could melt his string, yes. But he's larger than her and has some fighting ability, while Jane has none.
Next fight!
Yuu Arachne vs Alexis Primrose
First round: No fire powers, summons or spells Second round: No summons Third round: No restrictions
Fight takes place in the frozen forest where AvA was fought.
|
|
|
Post by HungryHunter on Jul 6, 2018 21:01:18 GMT
First round: Without fire, Yuu is physically weaker and Alexis still has her darkness spells. This would make it very difficult for her to win. Alexis can keep her at bay with darkness and win about 7/10.
Second round: With fire allowed but summons not, Yuu takes the upper hand. With her own fire, she gains enough strength to tackle characters stronger than Alexis. Alexis is stronger at a distance, and half her spells do nothing but make her enemy stronger. Yuu can rush in and take her down 8/10.
Third round: The introduction of summons narrows the gap, but not by as much as you’d think. Whiplash would let Alexis teleport TO Yuu, but not away from her. As Yuu’s stronger in close range, this wouldn’t help too much. Birdzilla would light the whole forest on fire, helping Yuu a hell of a lot more than it helps Alexis, so Alexis would be stuck with only Whiplash. Still Yuu, 7/10.
Next round! Ann Parker vs. Andrew Bonham. Western ghost town, Ann starts with one life and 200 points. 100 meters apart in different buildings.

Post by Kuma on Jul 30, 2018 16:44:23 GMT
Ann wins, Andrew is a good mercenary, but nothing more.
Triple Threat!
Dan vs Sid vs Gen (NO POWERS JUST SKILLS)
They fight in a circular platform suspended in the air, ring out counts as KO.
|
|
|
Post by HungryHunter on Jul 30, 2018 17:21:21 GMT
Sid has a slight height advantage over the other two, and I don't think anybody is too much stronger than the other two, but he also has less experience. Dan has the advantage only at extremely close range, so I think he's going to do the worst. Sid can keep him at a distance with his kicks, and Gen has grappling skills Dan never really bothered developing. That leaves it between Sid and Gen, and I'm giving it to Gen in that regard due to his greater versatility and grappling skills.
NEXT FIGHT!
Arthur Cromwell (no time powers) vs. Ariana Harper! Friendly sparring match, victory by surrender.
Location- Pool at Arlon's Haven.
|
|
|
Post by TimePuppy on Jul 30, 2018 18:52:19 GMT
Looking at the setting, Ariana's ammo feels a lot more limited than Arthur's is since he can make his own ice and control any ice she isn't using at the moment while she's limited to the pool contents. Since they're both resistant to ice, pure cold will not do much to either. Stat-wise, while Ariana can match Arthur's strength, probably even surpass him, he is faster and has more experience fighting all kinds of enemies. So by power, Arthur wins.
However, since this a friendly sparring match, Arthur will be pulling his punches a lot more. He'd mostly try to immobilize her by encasing her in ice. With her powers, strength and indomitable will resulting from youth and reckless attitude, his first attempts would be futile. If she uses those first attempts to get close enough to punch him, she might win. I'd say Arthur wins at least 4 out of 5 times though.
Heaven or hell! Duel 1!
Sarah Albane VS Anemone & Akane Musashi (No Perfect form).
Duel 2!
Sarah Albane vs Anemone & Akane Musashi (with perfect form)
Stage: Large warehouse filled with stacked boxes of useless trash. Only a small area of the warehouse has light coming from a row of windows, boxes keeping the light away from most of the building and making it pitch black.
Let's rock!
|
|
|
Post by HungryHunter on Jul 30, 2018 19:26:10 GMT
Round 1: Sarah, 7/10. Akane can't see in the dark, and Anemone is easily overpowered and outsneaked by the much more well-trained and experienced Sarah. Anemone dies first in the darkness before Sarah moves on to Akane, wittling her down from the shadows. Team only wins if Anemone can drag Sarah into the light so they can double up on her.
Round 2: Team takes it 7/10. Akane can knock down a wall in this state and light up most of the warehouse, working much more closely with Anemone. I don't think Sarah can stand up to both of them, and even if she uses her stealth tactics, she likely can't wittle the much stronger Akane down fast enough to put her down. Sarah could win if she manages a good instant kill or manages to wait out Akane's powerup, but I say she doesn't manage to last with both of them harassing her for that long.
NEXT FIGHT
Yuu vs. Akane vs. Callis!
Location: Southwest USA scrublands, all 30 feet apart at start, equidistant.
Round 1: Base forms. (Yuu on fire, Akane with armor, Callis with two swords)
Round 2: Peak forms (Yuu surrounded by flames, Perfect Warrior Akane, Callis with maximum swords)

I think that Callis can take the first round, while Akane will take the second. Still it will be a close one.
Dolls Battle Royale. (Every Doll ever created) all of them fighting in a Wrestling Ring. Ring Out counts as KO.

Post by Vapovile on Aug 4, 2018 5:12:36 GMT
Alright, so there is a lot to unpack here. I am going to ignore all the dolls created by Arachne(see Thread of Time), since they weren't Marika dolls and are still pretty new. I'll list all the combatants by order of appearance;
1. Yuu: One of the strongest dolls in play. She can cover the field in flaming tears to make movement difficult, and only gets stronger over time. She also has the most battle experience out of any of them. The addition of kunai only gives much-needed range over some of the other melee-centric dolls. Like..., 2. Marceline: Powerhouse, but little technique. She also gets stronger over time with her ability, but has little answer to some of the dolls with ranged attacks. She wrecks most of the melee dolls given enough time though. 3. Cosmina: Probably the strongest ranged fighter...but has the least experience and durability only matched by Jane. She likely gets knocked out in one or two hits. 4. Cassandra: Not much to say; she can jump good, but gets taken out pretty fast.
Hate Dolls: 5. Haven: One of the strongest ranged fighters. Haven can get on his light board and fly into the air to rain down projectiles upon the other fighters. Since so many of them are melee-focused, there isn't much they can do about this. 6. Jane: Virtually a non factor. She gets taken out first along with Cosmina. 7. Ash: Probably the 2nd strongest physically(aside from boosters like Yuu or Marceline), Ash could knock out some of the larger threats like Martha or even Josefina if she goes at them first. Her heating and cooling powers could make a large section of the floor a sheet of ice, which could mess up the melee fighters even more. Unfortunately...her stamina is the worst by far, and would tire out quickly. 8. Martha: Another physical powerhouse like Ash, but leg-based! She certainly has the mobility advantage over most dolls and can kick people out of the arena...but she isn't particularly smart and lacks any glass to attack the others with. 9. Cadence: While she may be the smartest out of the dolls...Cadence is stuck with an extremely unfavorable environment. No plants to work with besides the ones on her person, so she can't set up her ideal field quickly. Industrial Poison would help keep her around longer...but I feel the field disadvantage and small environment is too much for her to handle. 10. Patches: The dark horse. While she is one of the weaker dolls at the start...she has the potential to grow into a monster. Any doll that falls, Patches can attach to her own body and use their powers. I doubt she will have time to do that though, since all the dolls hate her the most and will likely dogpile the sadomasochist within the first 5 seconds.
Hate Dolls(round 2): 11. Cally: A skilled swordsman and certainly has the reach advantage over the other dolls...Cally just doesn't have the versatility of Yuu or most other dolls with extra powers to keep up. 12. Robin: Someone who is well suited to close-quarters combat, Robin's explosions could easily ring-out many of the melee-focused dolls, and could possibly stay in the air to try and catch Haven. But her flight is inferior in terms of control, and she lacks the technique to keep up with many of the other fighters. 13. Josefina: The strongest doll physically, Josefina also suffers from a disadvantageous environment. No rocks to summon out of the ground or material outside herself to manipulate. Her abysmal speed is also a hindrance. 14. Raven: Another strong ranged fighter, Raven would be one of the top tiers in a more open environment that she can use her guns properly in. But in a close combat situation like this, it is only a matter of time before someone gets within range and knocks her out. 15. Sidney: A non factor. If she escapes the melee at the start, it is only a matter of time before either Haven snipes her out of the air, or she has to come down and face whomever is left after the melee is over. 16. Chelsea: While her demonic fire is impressive and could hurt people like Yuu, her own swordsman ship is hardly comparable and her general stats aren't on par with the rest of the dolls. She gets overwhelmed pretty fast.
With all that in mind, I am going to go with Haven winning. He is the only doll who can easily escape the initial bloodbath and lob projectiles at the field below. Robin could try to catch him, but he has vastly more control over his flight. If this were fought in an open field, I would say either Cadence, Haven or Yuu.
Next round!
Eve Harper vs Mai Musashi Fight in the middle of an empty Times Square. Win vs death or KO
|
|
|
Post by othus on Aug 4, 2018 6:50:30 GMT
It all depends on the conditions IMO, Eve can deal some nasty damage with her grenade kit, and she out stats Mai in base form, if Eve has knowledge on Mai, she won't let her go Perfect warrior, cause I think that's when the cards flip, Mai has regen and the highest physical stats among the Musashi save for her father, Perfect warrior is made to be easy to obtain, so a couple of hits that don't result in lethal damage will definitely trigger her perfect form. I would personally give it to Mai more times than not, as she has a ton of defensive stuff and can turn the tables really fast.
Next Round! Ann vs Remilia -Ann as seen at the end of Moonlight (300hp, far cry pack) but 1 life. -Remilia has the Musashi folder the fight starts 20 meters away in character stage:Kyoto back alleys

Post by Vapovile on Nov 7, 2018 6:09:18 GMT
Ann utterly destroys Remilia and has dinner with Mai afterwards. Her arsenal and stats just eclipse Remilia's.
Next matchup!
Jane runs the Osaka gauntlet! Faces all the opponents in order, 1 at a time. Jane is healed after each round, and moves on regardless of the result.
Round 1: Taka Round 2: Washi Round 3: Baku Round 4: Mu Round 5: Uta Round 6: Masako Round 7: FMY 1
Fight in the streets of Osaka, start at 10 meters apart, everyone is in character. No Ikari or Andy. Winner via death, KO or Jane fainting.
Scenario 1: The FMY have no idea who Jane is, Jane is given information on what the FMY can do. Scenario 2: The FMY know who Jane is, and Jane knows what the FMY can do.
|
|
|
Post by HungryHunter on Nov 7, 2018 8:07:43 GMT
This is a tricky one. I will say that she can't handle scenario 2 at all because knowing her powers, they won't let her get close. Throwing objects from afar would be enough to kill her. As for scenario one, I say she makes it up to Masako. The FMY are violent, but not likely to attack a random child. She could almost certainly get close enough to land lethal foam attacks. Masako, however, is hyperaggressive and will pounce on her before she can hit him with a lethal amount of foam.
Next fight!
Mona vs. Derek! Fight of the teleporting low tiers!
Location: Rafters over the pool in Sold. Rafters are about five feet across each and 90 feet off the ground. 5 meters apart starting distance.
Win conditions: Falling to the pool below.
|
|
|
Post by Vapovile on Nov 23, 2018 4:05:59 GMT
This match is difficult, since neither character has many feats. Derek barely showed any feats in Arata, and Mona didn't show much in Sold. But Mona did show the ability to evade Sarah for a little while, and has claws that are supposedly deadly...so I'll give it to Mona!
Next fight!
Callis Nomene battle royale!
Callis from Night at the Castle and prior vs Gainen Callis from The Cave to losing the powers vs Current Callis
Fight takes place inside of the ogre stronghold from Big String Hands, each starting 20 meters apart. They all have equal knowledge on each other's skills and abilities, as to not put the older Callis forms at a disadvantage. Winner via death or KO
|
|
|
Post by othus on Apr 28, 2019 20:19:13 GMT
Gainen Callis wins, he stopped armored Ikari on his own and at his strongest managed to parry an island shattering attack from the cursed blade.
Next fight!
Martha vs Erin
win by KO or death.
Bonus round: bloodlusted!
