"What I'm saying is murder is a victimless crime." The twisted dark man leaning over the front desk at the Wild Hunt offices insisted. "Run your idiot logic by me again. I tend to filter you out." Eve said, rummaging through the papers in her lap. Malcolm was already asleep upstairs so she had to work on this legal crap herself. Damn that Amai! If she was here, Eve would club her over the head for drawing the ire of a major world power. "Well when you kill them, there's no victim anymore. Therefore, victimless crime." The sounds of Eve chewing Huntsman out were audible even outside their little two story office. It was lucky Malcolm had long learned to to wear ear muffs in his sleep.

Atop a the building just across the street, a figure lay hidden atop a rooftop, waiting idly and patiently as they had been for a few days. Through the clear scope, she’d been watching in a silent and boiling hatred as she’d surveyed the members who lived within the Wild Hunt offices. Finding them hadn’t been significantly hard, apparently their new member had been making quite an infamous name for them...plus the meals she’d eaten the few days prior, specifically the supernatural ones she’d sought out to find what she’d been looking for, seemed to be familiar with the presence of the Hunt and the recent disasters, piles of body, and overall destruction that was following them.
“The other one went to sleep, just like he has at this point for the past few days. Humans are grossly consistent.” Her thoughts went through meticulous as she shifted her scope just barely around, shifting it towards the floor where her main concerns lay. Lilli didn’t have the best of information on these two, her hastiness to get to the area proving to put her at a disadvantage that she didn’t much like.
The larger woman seemed to be the boss, her desk looking all important and the others tended to seem to act according to what she said. The guy...he was a mystery, but seeing as how close he was to the woman, she could only assume he was another part of the Hunt as well. Now, a deep irritation rose back to the surface as she’d realized, with much animosity, that her true goal was nowhere insight. The violent and beautiful force of nature that was Amai.
“Well. If she isn’t around...then they’ll know.” The small crosshair of her rifle was planted, firmly against the irritated visage of Eve. As a leader, she was going to go first, and she was unfortunately the object of her most virulent hatred; if Eve was leader, that meant Amai was working for her and she’d never let that happen! With a sharp sleeping dart loaded in the chamber, of which was unnatural and supernatural in its creation and effects, Lilli aimed through the downstairs window and shot with precision not found in humans. One faint exhale left, a small line of white breath leaving her lips.
In the same instant she turned the scope to the man on the desk next to her, waiting for no reprieve. The patient and vindictive assailant didn’t wait to see if the dart secured itself into Eve’s flesh because she simply knew it did, she didn’t miss. Another bullet appeared in the chamber without having to be reloaded and she felt the slight fatigue hit her, but she wasn’t about to stop. The scope shifted in a mere second, aiming for the detestable man as well, and with another shot following through, she aimed for Huntsman too, her sharp teeth brimming into a hate-filled smile as the two of the, caught unaware, would soon find their night coming to a sudden and painful stop.
Finally, she exhaled loudly, shifting her scope back to the top floor. This one was still asleep...but she wasn’t about to let anything get in her way of finding Amai, let alone something that felt as pitiful as this human. With bags under her eyes, she loaded one more round, her eyes feeling heavy as she nonchalantly shot through Malcolm’s window was well. She didn’t particularly care to go for him this night...but she wasn’t going to let him wake up and ruin things anytime soon either. A slow and loud yawn left the being’s lips as the once rifle in her hand was replaced with a long, fluffed pillow that she lay her head on lightly; she was awfully tired now...
The new world the Hunt would find themselves in wasn’t entirely different. The office was the same, the night just as quiet as it had been before, had it not been for the body that now resided in a lounged position on its side, head propped up on her hand. “Hello, cunts.” Despite the harsh words, her tone didn’t seem to be anything other than tired as she ended it with a yawn.
With her hood removed, all that looked out to the two was a girl’s face. That alone could have been normal...if not for the purple hue of her skin, the strange, goat-like slits in her golden gaze, and the two large, ram-like horns that hung from either side of her head. Lilliwanhpoarach sat in the lobby with these two, nonchalant and lazing...but there was a hatred that was almost palpable in her tired expression. Had they not have access to information she wanted, perhaps things would have been far less...comfortable. “Where’s the demon.”

"Man, I'm still smelling demon." Huntsman looked out the window again, seeking a source. "One probably just opened up a shop. These places are always cycling out." Eve didn't look up from her papers until the first dark stung her collarbone. "What the fuuuuu..." Her voice faded and she slid down in her seat. Huntsman's body instantly began shifting into a horrible thing of wings and claws before he was caught in the neck by the next dart. He was halfway to the window when he collapsed. Upstairs, Malcolm just stirred lightly in her sleep.
They opened their eyes to find nothing different but the strange creature in the lobby. "There's one right there." Huntsman growled. "You're the one who shot us, aren't you? All that just to get inside? You know you could just knock and I wouldn't be forced to tear your head off." He stepped forward to do so, but Eve held out a hand of restraint. "What do you want with Amai? If you're here to take her back to hell, I'm afraid she's profitable to me... barely." She glanced down at the damages reports on her desk. Malcolm just stared in utter confusion. What was going on? Was this his dream?

“Do me a favor and shut the fuck up, will you? Your boss bitch seems to know what I’m talking about and I don’t like to talk to their chained pooches. Just sit down and cross your paws like a good dog.” Lilli didn’t so much as spare a glance as she sat up, looking inconvenienced by having to do so. With the ribbons and adornments dangling from her horns, the noise alone was a tad ridiculous as she stretched, sighing loudly. “Take her back to hell...she’d never go anyways. Regardless, where is she? You clearly seem to know.” With her eyes narrowing slightly, a pillow seemingly appeared from nowhere in her grasp as she leaned across her booth, or had the pillow simply always been there?... “You call her Amai in this age...of course, no way she’d let anyone...whatever. So if I’m gathering this right, you’re not going to give her up then, because she’s ‘profitable’?” The last word she said was spat with such vehemency, it was a wonder the girl wasn’t yelling with how much hatred was behind it, yet she kept her voice leveled and suspiciously unafraid.

Huntsman bristled at the insult. "Oh, I don't even give a fuck what you want now. I'm feeding you your own heart." Spines sprung from his arms. "Huntsman, you can feed her hearts later. And yes, you little creep. If Amai wasn't useful, I would shoot her in the back of the head with a God damn cannon. She's a wild dog and I only trust her on a short leash. As for where she is, I'm not telling you, because clearly you're going to be difficult. Unless you want to tell me why I should." Eve didn't expect anything useful from this little demon. Looks like she would have to clean the carpet when Huntsman was done with her.

There was silenced that spread, Lilli’s in moving gaze and lack of consistent breathing making it almost awkward before she spoke again. “I would say the reason you should is so I wouldn't kill you.” Lilli began to stand then, a slouched and unintimidating posture yet she was different now. A black hoodie gave way to a bizarre and out of place negligee, her pillow beneath one arm while the other pointed towards the roof. “But truthfully, I want to kill you either way. Clearly you're a problem and I'll take care of you.” With her hand pointed upwards, the floor above them flaked away as if it were burnt paper, flowing across the single room they had been in.
Above them was dark sky, lit only by the cracks and snaps of vibrant lightning sihouetting a...ship mast?! “I'll make sure your suffering is nice and slow...for Amai.~” Lilli said so dreamily, her position changing once again as she lay across the ledge that held a whipping sail above. “Let's find out what you're nightmare can really be… I'm sure it will taste divine.” With a grand sweep of her arm, Lilli pointed a finger at the left side of the ship, speaking in a bored and unalarmed tone. “Hark. Something has hit the ship side-” A loud crack of splintering wood mingled with the boom of thunder that followed. “And now… You're sinking.”

As the roof burned away, Eve looked to Huntsman. "What kind of demon is she again?" "I have no idea. The annoying kind?" Perhaps the hot kind, he also thought as she shed her hoodie. Eve noticed his looks and shook her head. "Huntsman, I swear to every deity you despise-" She balked when something hit the ship they suddenly appeared to be on. She glanced around in sudden panic. A ship? And exactly like the ones from her era of wood and sails. "Illusions? You won't get me with that." Eve cockily grinned and unleashed her cannon arm, but hesitated in actually blowing the little scamp away. Firing a cannon at a ship she was on? No, she wasn't afraid of that, she just didn't want to hurt her building. She carefully moved forward, trying to keep her grip on the wildly tilting floor. "Malcolm, if we're actually on a ship, a healing spell would be great." She called as she passed him. He mutely nodded and ran to look for damage. He had no idea what was going on, but it wasn't all that weirder than anything else that happened around here.

The tilting floor wasn’t the only problem that now appeared, for the water parted as if it were a mouth screaming, hungry for the ship and its occupants...minus the one that lounged across the side of the ship closest to tilting, twirling one of the ribbons of her horns around. “This is no illusion, you dumb cunt, just your very own little nightmare that you can thank yourself for.” At Eve’s bid of Malcom, however, Lilli scoffed dryly despite their surroundings. “A healing spell...you humans are always such fucking disgusting little pests. I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” Raising a single leg up, yawning at the effort it took, she brought her foot back down and another crunch of the ship’s hull came, the water now beginning to eat away at the ground she was laying on, yet she looked unafraid with hate in her expression. “I’ll be sure to eat yours so thoroughly, that there’s NOTHING left for what you’ve done to Amai. However, I’ll be merciful if you tell me where she is.”
The sea rose and consumed her, her body missing as she took precedence far above instead. She hoped that boy caste the spell, honestly. “Give them hope.” Lilli thought, holding her hand out until it looked as if the vessel were in her hand...and she pushed her fingertip against the ship mast jokingly, yet the ship gave as if she were pushing a dish beneath water, allowing the ship to begin its descent.

"Nightmare? Oh, god, you're one of those. Belay that order, Malcolm." Eve didn't need to tell Malcolm twice. He was already shuddering from Lili's threats. She looked down and backed away from the sinking edge of the ship. This wasn't real. But it didn't have to be to grip her heart. With her heavy endoskeleton and coat, she would sink to the sea floor and never rise. "You expect me to believe that, blue? If you're a friend of hers, I wouldn't trust you not to kill us just for the hell of it when you get what you want. I think we'll do something else." Eve aimed her cannon and fired away right at Lili's head. "Huntsman, you can eat anything that survives." She doubted anything real would whether this broke the spell or not.

"Or I think you'll sink to the bottom of the sea." Lilli's voice was but a whisper full of a frighteningly gently tone, as if she were speaking to a child in an attempt to soothe. Lilli didn't move, for she was no longer in the same spot, but instead behind Eve while she leaned in, whispering softly to the large woman. A full day's feeding had given her just enough to work with in this world...but she could feel the strain beginning. Out of her petty spite for this woman that had somehow gotten Amai to not only work with her, but for her, was making Lilli behave irrationally. She could have just tortured them in that single room and not expended energy...but here she was on an open sea, putting too much into trying to terrify the ever valiant leader of the Hunt and her companions. "There's no end here, you know. Only sea, and sea, and sea, for days...for years. I'll keep you here, and you can sink with me forever." The ship was sinking faster than ever, water lapping at their ankles and she felt the hull beginning to give beneath her basically bare feet.
Similarly, another appeared behind Huntsman in a similar fashion, though on a frighteningly more close and intimate manner, her arms wrapping over the male's shoulders while she spoke in a similar fashion to the clone. "And you, you'll get to be with her the entire time. Fitting for a dog, isn't it, to die by its master? Pathetic pooch. Don't worry, I'll make sure you get to enjoy it all with her." And to Malcolm's side, another appeared, leaning forward to cradle the poor boy's face in her palm. "And you...well. I'll just drown you. Not as lucky as your friends, are you? How fragile the human body is...you're all like little pests and roaches, not fit to even die like the rest."

Eve danced away from Lilli and the water's edge. There wasn't much room to run, but she would do all she could. "Sink? You mistake for somebody a hell of a lot more dense." Huntsman glared at Lilli. "And I am not her pet. I would be annoyed to see her go though. She does sign my paychecks." Huntsman hopped onto Eve's shoulders, finishing his transformation into a being of wings. Eve grabbed Malcolm away from Lilli. "You leave him out of this! He has nothing to do with it!" Eve yelled and Huntsman began flapping his wings to get them off the ground.

“This can all stop if you just tell me where she is.” The boat was sinking and so was Lilli who stood stalwartly, unwavering as the sheer fabric of her clothing hollowed around her before the ocean swallowed her whole.
Beneath the waves, in the inky darkness, Lilli fumed. Why wouldn't they just tell her where Amai was?! These worthless and vile creatures were keeping them apart and Amai bound...how did they ever manage to do so? Did they somehow get her name?...Regardless of how they kept her under tabs, Lilli would save her. She would unleash the monster and leave her to decimate anything and even everything until she was happy. And then…Lilli quenched the excitement in her heart, for now...she needed to focus.
Her energy was draining fast the more she played around, she needed to go for thr jugular. Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath in beneath the illusionary waves, Lilli’s eyes jolted open and began to expend mass amounts of her energy. For the group above, it would feel as if they were being stared at from every direction possible, with gazes as sharp and probing as any scalpel. When the sensation dissipated, Lilli rose from the ocean...but she was not alone.
In one hand, held carelessly like a doll, was none other than Ariana. Lilli gripped onto thr unmoving girl’s wrist, dangling her above the hungry waters while she stared blankly at Eve...only to smile widely as she let go, sending the girl into the waters. “This all could have been over. Remember that.”

Eve froze when Ariana appeared in her vision. Was that the real Ariana? Would drowning her here actually kill her? "Leave her out of this!" She yelled, but Huntsman just laughed above. "You think we'd bend to that? I would do the same if I could. And don't mind her, she tried to get the twerp killed too." He flapped his wings to drag them off the sinking ship. "Seriously, you're doing everybody a favor. Including yourself." Huntsman mocked from above, delighting in Ariana's sinking.

With an unblinking gaze, Lilli flicked her fingertip towards the water, causing the sea to bubble and spit before a series of monstrous tentacles appeared. In one was the small form of Ariana, struggling and gasping as salt water poured from the poor girl's mouth. Yet in another tentacle was the form of the furiously struggling, and visibly vehement Ron. Neither spoke aside from their coughs and gags as the tentacled coiled inwards, squeezing their bodies with Lilli at the center of the mass.
She looked up to Huntsman, humming thoughtfully before gesturing slowly. With her hand gripping, the tentacle followed and began to crush the two in their grasp, a delighted smile lighting her face. “I'll do you a favor as well then. Want to take a guess on which orifice their insides will pop from?”

Huntsman's gloating fell to a low snarl when the tendrils rose. But within a few seconds, it rose into a maniacal laugh. "Oh, these are definitely fake! Ron's not swearing in the slightest! But hey, just for the effort I'll stuff you in the washing machine!" Huntsman lunged off of Eve's shoulders to charge Lilli, but he was caught and slammed into the deck by Eve. "I'm not risking it. Demon! I give in to your demands! Give me control of my body and I'll call Amai here!" Eve concealed her cannon and opened her arms in a sign of peace.

“Now that wasn't so hard. Was it.” Lilli stated flatly, her voice echoing of the base’s walls. They were back in the waiting room, with booths and all, yet Lilli held her two visitors in a vice grip by her sides. Their faces and bodies were obscured, save for the few fingers and bits of visible skin. “However. I don't like mortal games of peace and surrender, if you are lying to me… I assure you, I will squeeze this girl until her brains pour from her eyes and I'll do it again, and again, and again until you have seen it happen a hundred times. In a hundred different ways.” To prove her words, Lilli smiled widely and squeezed her fist until a high pitched squeal, followed by a wet, meaty, and cracking sound left, the thick sound of viscerae hitting the floor. And then it was all over.
Lilli released her hold, exhausted eyes blinking slowly while her pillow took back the shape of her gun. Through the sighted scope, she watched, poised and ready to sacrifice the rest of her energy to find Amai.

Eve winced at Ariana's false death. She wasn't going to regret this at all. She glanced at the window and her own chair, making a quick calculation. "Okay, I'm calling her." Eve turned on the phone in her head and grinned. "Hey Amai. We need you back. On the roof of that health store across the street." She gave the quick directions and hung up. "She'll be here before you know it." She told the shrimpy demon.

It was fucking cokd in the middle of “Assfuck Nowhere” as Amai dubbed it. Her bare stomach rumbled and she grunted in furious irritation; Eve hadn't let her eat since the events at Arata. She didn't understand what the big deal was; the job got done and with only moderate casualties at that! Why was she being punished?!
It was the soft vibrating in her ridiculously tight pants that brought her attention away from the carnage in the snow. Disgruntled, Amai pulled out the shiny device, a grin spreading from ear to ear as she saw the familiar name on the screen. “Eve, darling.~ What’s wrong, did you miss m- what?” Amai looked confused; why would Eve tell her to come back over something as stupid as that? Perhaps the woman really did miss her, that was more like it.~
With the sound of thin flesh scattering from her back, Amai hid her phone away and took off. It should only take her a little while to get back…
Lilli was looking through her scope, but was dismayed as she found herself drifting off over and over again. “Fuck…” She thought, irritated at herself for wasting as much time as she did. If she had just terrified the woman from the beginning, she would have had more energy… “Why isn't she here?” Lilli grumbled impatiently to herself, cutting it off with a yawn. All she wanted now was a nap...maybe she could drift off, even if it was for just a minute or two…
It couldn't have been too long that the petty demon had fell asleep, that the sound of heels clicking against the rooftop appeared, and with it was a force of fury. “Oh, so THAT'S why.”
To the employees of the Hunt, it had been an uneventful couple of minutes...but that all changed once the largest window caved in, a body flying through the shrapnel with a series of gasps. Lilli’s dark hoodie was shredded in patches, her purple skin cut and dripping dark blue liquid. She was spouting off in a foreign tongue, one not of human nature as she scrambled back, her chest rising and falling rapidly. Crawling through the open gap of the window, a very different looking Amai appeared, a sinister expression on her face. Her smile was barely there and her posture showed that of someone ready to rest into the small demon in front of her at any given notice. “So this is the little issue, hm?” Wearing tight black pants, coupled with a jacket that barely covered her upper back, let alone her generously showed chest clad in what was, at best, an all black bikini top. Her dark, short hair was cropped to a stylish bob, and her gaze burned with pure detest for the creature in front of her through her bangs. “You could have handled this. Its pathetic and weak. Kicked her once and felt everything crack.~”
Lilli felt like she was looking into the face of the most beautiful beast. Even in a human body… Amai was as hauntingly beautiful as ever. Tears welled in the corners of her eyes as she calmed her breath, not even minding that her puny vessel was aching all over. The foreign language began to spill from her lips again. “I've been looking everywhere for you… Amaiuo-”
The air felt like they had all stepped into a furnace as she lunged forward, Lilli’s words gagged off as Amai shoved four fingers from one hand into Lilli’s mouth, gripping down as she hissed violently, shoving the other girl’s head back against the wall. “If you even THINK-” tugging on the bottom half of Lilli’s jaw, she made the other demon squeal loudly in pain. “-to even try and say that again. I will tear your fucking jaw off. Got it, you piece of shit?” Without even looking at Eve, Amai’s tone seemed strangely curt. “Why couldn't you take care of this one? It isn't like you. Getting weak on me?”

Malcolm yelped and ran up the stairs when Lilli was smashed through the window. Huntsman cackled and moved to attack if she attempted to escape. Eve screamed. "AMAI! MY WINDOW!" Well there went her budget balance. "Oh, she was the softest. The little critter showed her some fancy fake kid and all it took was squishing it a few times." Huntsman mocked. "So you do know her." The recently calmed Eve grumbled. She was half tempted to fire Amai despite the save. "What's her deal?" Huntsman asked, prodding Lilli's face. "Can I slay her?" Lilli looked like an interesting treat. Not often he got to eat something with purple blood.

“Oh Eve, how cute though I have to admit I'm disappointed.” Amai pulled her fingers out of Lilli’s mouth, bringing with it a mixture of saliva and Lilli’s oddly colored blood. She nonchalantly rubbed it off on the girl’s tattered clothing, looking Eve’s way with a frown. “I can't say I like this side of you. As for me knowing her, nope.”
Lilli look as if she had been struck. The petty demon’s clamoring heart was wracked with emotion; disgust for how casual she was with these mundane creatures, anger for her situation, and heartbreak for how easily Amai said that. “You're...you're joking right? You don't remember me?” Lilli tugged at her hood to bring it down, pointing at herself in dismay. “I know I look different, but surely you can feel who I am! I can feel you from a mile away, I could never forget you…” However, Amai looked her once over like an annoying dog that couldn't take no for an answer. It made her want to beat the little thing’s head in. “Can't say that I do. You do feel like a Sloth though. Those little squishy wet ones, right? Pathetic little whelps who can't take a hit…” There was humiliation in the hesitant nod she gave. Lilli just couldn't stomach it… Amai didn't remember her?...
“Regardless. Little Fuck, you've gone and made a big, big mistake.” Amai dropped her tone low and playful as she kneeled down to meet the girl, a falsely amiable smile on her face. “You've gone and tampered with my things and I oh so HATE that. What is it you sought to accomplish here? If it was death, all you would have to do is ask. Huntsman here isn't a picky eater.” Lilli could feel blood in her mouth, along with an ache in her chest as she began to speak. “I.. I was looking for you.” Amai only raised an eyebrow, yet Lilli could practically feel herself testing the feisty demon’s patience. “I just wanted to find you is all! I wasn't going to ask you to come back or anything, I just… I wanted to see you again...or be with you. It's been miserable these few centuries without you.” Her lamentations were heart felt, yet she felt disgusted with herself as she admitted this...and showed her distaste immediately when Huntsman prodded her, turning her head in one instant and spitting her blood at him in the next. “Fuck off.”
There was a moment of silence before Amai burst out in laughter, as if it was the funniest joke she had ever heard...because it was! “Oh god, you're in love with me, aren't you? Just the way you said that and the pathetic look you just gave me...and you're not even human. Oh man…” She wiped a tear from her eye, giggling all the while, leaving Lilli looking more hurt than she could have ever imagined. With a deep and pleased sigh, Amai bent back down, all traces of amusement gone from her while she spoke bluntly. “Forget it, fucker. I don't know when you met me, or how long you've been ‘suffering’, there was never a chance in Hell and there's certainly not one here.”
Lilli felt her heart drop and she looked at the monstrous visage she could really see, the feeling of familiar heat no longer inviting...but frightening. “But...you were so nice to me back then… I've been looking for years… I don't understand!” She jolted up, despite her injuries, looking down at Amai with tears in her eyes. “Why do you even like it here! Why do you even like THEM?!” She gestured broadly to those in the room. “The old you slaughtered day and night, none lived more than a few days, so what's changed?!”
Amai rose, chuckling slightly while she set her hands on her hips, looking all too smug with herself as she towered above the small, yelling girl. “Love did. I love this realm and all its little toys.” Hugging her arms around herself, Amai spoke dreamily, her eyes looking into the distance. “I love their short little lives and the pleasurable ways they handle them here. Souls in hell live to suffer...but souls in this realm live to sin. The way humans fall so heavily into lust… and greed.” With a dreamy look still in her eyes, she cast her glance to Eve, smiling wide. “I love them so much, I just want to play with them all..and I will. Ohhhh, I will.~” Lilli should have been green instead of purple with the envy she felt. Amai ‘loved’ them?!
“That's...bullshit.” Lilli said through clenched teeth, wiping her torn sleeve over her mouth. “Love?! Bullshit! You don't know how to love!” Lilli was so angry...the hate she felt for everything around her was almost palpable. Amai only smiled widely, laughing again. “Oh...and you do? Coming here on a whim over some bygone that means nothing to me, expecting...what? A happy meeting? A hug? A kiss? No no...you wanted a relationship, right? Ahaha! How stupid of you!” Amai snickered happily and Lilli’s fists balled up at her side and she shook with rage. All her time in this realm...and it was for this?! Humiliation in front of garbage as this bitch laughed at her?! “A bed takes two to rock, darling. Or several. But regardless, you don't just make it happen by yourself, you're a pathetic love bitten pup who only thought of themselves.” Her smile was mocking and she leaned in, sliding her hands into her pockets. “Now, I'm actually feeling pity for you. A demon falling in love with ME? So sad… here, I'll let you go, just this once. I'll give you a free pass because you're so pathetic, just be sure to never show your face to me again, okay?”
Then, casually, she turned around and hopped to Eve’s desk, lounging seductively across it while hiking her jacket down her arms. “I did that dumb mission and came here to save your ass, I've been a good girl, think you can let me have some fun?~”
