Happily accepting the potion, Amelia puts it into her cloak pocket as she begins examining the room. "Pretty underwhelming stuff..." The fire mage quietly muses to herself as she studied all the junk on the walls. Shrugging her shoulders, Amelia picked up a large black flashlight from the wall and clicked the button on top. "Powerful enough beam. Could save me some mana in a dark dungeon. I'll take this!" She called out as she waved the flashlight at Ellen. Finally having her reward, Amelia walks back to the group and looks at the strange newcomer. "So...snakes. I guess we need to meet her down the street if we want to keep going with this thing." Inspecting her sword, Amelia briefly thought about what would actually happen if they died. Would they really die, or just wake up? Best not to find out unless they really had to.

The trembling thief could still feel the cool, smooth scales in a phantom grasp along her fingers, gulping loudly while she hugged herself. What the hell was a summon?! What did Hammond mean by them “all having one”? Did they all have snakes?! “What the he'll is wrong with you people…” The girl tried to shake off her shudder, long braid trailing behind her as she made her way to the counter to peruse for her own magical item. Stealing something huge would be hard here and she could tell she would probably be caught if she tried; not having her abilities was a constant change that she wasn't terribly happy about…
It was the gleam of the hook that caught the kleptomaniac’s attention. Solid metal and sharply pronged, a strong, black rope wound around its perch on the wall, Fumi gaped in awe. A real life grappling hook?! “As real as one can get here…” She mumbled to herself while picking her reward, eyeing it with utter elation. “I've never seen one before!”
Iris stood silently among her chattering group, expression severely pensive as she looked among the items. A knife here, a pen there, she thought she saw something even moving along the mess of items...but one thing in particular caught the severe woman’s gaze, something that only made sense for a woman of detail like Iris. “I'll take this.” Holding up her palm, she held a small travel sewing kit. With its miniscule needles and fragile thread, Iris suddenly felt more relaxed than she had this entire journey here.
Turning to the group, Iris deposited her item within her golden pouch as she spoke. “We should get a move on soon after we’re all stocked up. I'm not sure why we are all here, but whatever brought us here seems keen on causing as much pain as it can. As nice as the reprieve in this town is, I would rather not wait until the peace is broken to get a move on.”

"We don't really have a choice, do we?" Jenifer shrugged at Amelia while she looked at a frying pan on the shelf. "Does cooking even do anything?" She wondered out loud. "Cooking meals can grant bonuses to stats or cure status ailments." Marigold walked right through the wall of the store to provide this information.
"AH! How did you do that!? I mean, good to know, but use the door!" Jenifer took the pan and walked out with Marigold in tow. "I am the tutorial. I will appear whenever you have a question about the mechanics of the world. You can pick up ingredients for cooking as monster drops or in chests." Marigold helpfully offered. "Well, thanks. I'll keep that in mind."
She happily pocketed the pan, glad it vanished into he invisible inventory when stowed. "Now, where's the quest giver? And where's Hammond?" She asked as Hammond came jogging up behind. "I'm here. I was just getting something." He waved two bright green flasks. "Poison! I wanted to see if we could poison our weapons." He explained. "You can, but it will be temporary." Marigold flatly informed him.

"Wait, how di-" Amelia was about to question how exactly Marigold was able to phase through walls at such a young age...but then remembers that this was all a dream and anything was possible. "If this is a dream...how come I can't just turn into a huge monster or something?" She wonders aloud, a little annoyed that she wasn't in control of this dream they were all in. "Yeah, let's head out. Come one everyone!" Amelia called out as she began making her way toward the door. She was about to try and phase through walls like Marigold...but didn't want to smash into the wall and look like a total idiot in front of the group.
