First of all, WE DON'T GIVE A FLYING FUCK IF YOU DON'T POST IMMEDEATELY! Dude! We're here to have fun, take whatever time you need to make your posts and whatever you want. As you said, is a hobby, not a job. With that in mind, if you don't post in Gala tomorrow i'll break your fricking legs (JK!). It's kind of sad knowing you feel like you're worning out and if you leave we're losing one of the best we have, but if you are feeling that way there's no way around it.
I'm completely on board with the idea of reviews. We have so much space in the forum that we aren't using at all and could be filled with whatever the hell we want. What I'd really love to see, an idea i've been playing with for a while, is writing reviews/comments on other members writing style. We are all big boys (and girls) and I'm sure we can take a constructive critique.
As a final comment, you should really follow whatever path you want. If you feel you should be writing more author notes and you have fun doing so, you should fo it as long as you want.

Lol thank you for that reassuring advice but I do know it must drive you guys crazy sometimes and I always want to apologize if I take to long. Like i said it was just a matter of wanting to do it before my vacation and never getting to it. Anyway glad you are on board with my review idea because that's my opinion is that we HAVE sections called Anime and Manga, Tv and Movies, Video Games and we DON'T USE THEM. Actually thinking about it now after I'm done this comment I'm going to make an Overwatch thread in the video game section. But we have those spaces we should be using them could you imagine posting on our facebook page every week: Read One Piece Chapter 838 review written by So and So (even though I would really like to do the One Piece chapter reviews) As for you reviewing/commenting other people writing how would we do that? Becuz it's not like we can comment/review in RP threads becuz it would kinda screw the pacing up and make it a bit messy. But i'm totally down for that. We do also have the Awards. Also it's not that I'm leaving you guys its just I want to write different things on the site and create different content. I still love writing creatively and writing story threads but I've grown frustrated and I hate to admit it but Kuma NAILED it. Crow is a bit stagnant for me right now he is a bit muddled and all over the place with his weird powers issue and self and as much as I love writing him it feels like its just more of the same. However on the other hand Kusuri gets more and more fun to write, I don;t know if you guys notice but the attitude in when I'm using Kusuri compared to Crow is completely different. I'm still working out things with her but she is a really fun character for me. So I think if anything Crow needs to go on the self but that is so hard for me. So this could be another topic for Author's Notes all together but I just want to talk about it real quick: putting Crow on the self is SO difficult for me because he is a the first character i ever created and built up, refined, reworked till I felt like he is perfect and it took years. I'm literally attached to Crow because he is such an important part of my life and I feel like he is an important part to the ViceVerse in general. Other than maybe Callis Nomene I don't think there is a character who has been around as long as Crow so the reason I feel the need to involve Crow in everything is because I feel he should be apart of everything. When there are big moments going on it doesn't feel right now to have Crow involved when a character is introduce it feels weird that Crow hasn't meant or interacted with them in some way. Anyway like I said this is a whole different Author Note (maybe my next one) where i could go into detail about this.

I have to admit I read like 90% of your first post, 99% of Obscuris' response and just 10% of your last post. I think I can be of help all the same, but I felt I had to do that little disclaimer first.
I'll tell you what I'd like to read, which is also what I think it would be a "good strategic move" to write. I think you should write something that is informed from your experience here. Whether it's reviews, essays or advice (creating characters, RPing, worldbuilding) I think that would have your personal thumbprint, like your identity, as a member of this forum, because you're already... Damn, my English is failing me. I mean, accentuating, highlighting, you're in display of being "a person of the forums" for everyone to see, because your plan is to post HERE, and to even have other people from OUTSIDE the forums to come and check it. So if I put myself in their shoes, I'd "come down to see what the forum guys are writing about" if it's had to do with the forums.
Actually you can talk about anything you want, but informing it of your experience. You could do a Civil War review taking about how it reminded you of how hard it is to juggle multiple characters in an RP, how your RP experience helped you measure and value more things about that movie.
I'd love to read a short essay about what it feels like to have multiple characters in multiple stories, and how it strained you, because I'll probably never experience that but still I'm curious. Pretty much what you've written here, polished up. An account instead of an apology.
My second advice is to keep it short, and keep it regular. If you have the discipline to upload a 1000 word essay every two weeks, or at least every month, in a year you'll be something. And a year is nothing.
(And I wouldn't advice it to be longer, not at first, you can be longer later when you have more readers!)

So correct me if I'm wrong but what you are talking and suggestions/advice is similar to how I wrote the Author's Note about Tournaments in Anime and my desire to have one here. Where the idea is to talk topics and ideas from anime and manga then tie them into the ViceVerse expect more based off my personal experience. I could do that trust me I would love to write you a blog about how to use multiple characters in multiple stories but i feel someone like Kuma would be much better at that.

I'm sorry, I didn't read that Author's Note so I can't say. But you're describing it as a bit of a persuasive piece, like "people! We should be doing this thing", which is not bad, but what I mean is more of a journalism/essay/review/piece thing. "We did this thing."
So what if Kuma could do it better? In what way is that a barrier preventing you from doing it?
Plus I think you'd have a unique perspective, because a) well, every single person has a unique protective, b) you could talk about what it's like to be strained and stressed about it.
But really these are all minor considerations. My main point is that if you're able to post 1000 words every 15 or 30 days, do it consistently and keep every entry that short, let's say with a lower bound of 750 so it's not too short, in just a year you'll see some growth and changes.

Meaning it's really not so important what you write about, but to keep it up consistently.
