Goemon breathed deeply as Tadao talked. The Karate Star was caught by surprise, the Killer Intent projected by the Old Drunken Master had hitted him like a truck and he was still staggering from the blow, yet he kept a cool head, thinking his next move. This was something his master Ichigan also praised, as he wasn’t the sharpest knife in the shelf, so seeing one of his students actually think out a move was a proud moment for him. Still Goemon knew that just planning wasn’t going to cut it, he needed to do something to fight off the shackles of fear, not dispel them, as forgetting about fear is the same as forgetting about life, just like his Master used to say, but break the hold of this dreadful sensation over him.
He left this meditative state the second Tadao started walking, the confusing surge of Ki was quite baffling, almost as if the Ki was as drunk as its owner. Goemon clenched his fists, slowly and methodically drawing his Ki from his innermost self. The warm feeling inside him, like a bonfire on a freezing night expanded through his nerves, coursed his veins and infused his muscles, but instead of burning out like a flame his Ki gradually came out creating a thin and heavily concentrated layer around him, one of the technique’s developed by his Grandmaster, Reiji Fukuma, the Maisetsu Kyo. When Tadao stopped in front of him then was the time Goemon choose to break the chain of his fear.
The Karate Star roared, resonating with his Ki, launching a shockwave of sound around him. The bleacher rattled with that blast, but miraculously stayed in one piece. He realized that even with a multitude of blows he wouldn't be able to break through Tadao’s strange defense, and there wasn’t enough time to charge a Mountain Slaying fist, like Goemon decided to improvise. -If you’re water that breaks stones then I’m the wind that creates waves!- And with that proclamation he unleashed a flurry of blows, but instead of fists he was attacking with his index finger extended and never completed the blows, he was focusing his considerable might on his finger, creating concentrated blasts of wind pressure, the same theory as Cutting Wind attack, but in this case Piercing Wind would be a better name for it.
Hopefully this strange offensive would vulnerate the equally bizarre defensive Ki barrier created by the Old Drunken Master.

As the old man moves around his opponent's strikes, his Aura of Ki seem to be able to shrug off the pressured air strikes that would have otherwise hit. No that wasn't it. At first it would appear that the layers of Ki is blocking the attacks from reaching Tadao, but Goemon would soon begin to notice the strangeness that is this man's aura. The Karate Star will soon realize that his attacks are not being blocked by the layer of Ki, in fact it is the opposite, as his strikes are more than capable of penetrating the Ki surrounding the old man without much difficult, almost as if the aura didn't even exist at all. Most fighters who have dealt with Ki users before would find this immediately odd considering that Ki aura is usually used by martial artist's to act as a shield to protect them from harm in this type of situation. However, the master of the drunken fist's aura did not seem to do anything to stop the attack initially, however as soon as wind strike enters the space that his aura occupied, the guided air itself seem to no longer capable of moving either at the same speed and intensity as before. Nor in the same direction as the attack begins to slow down and drift away from the body of Goemon's opponent, or rather the attacks have suddenly become too slow to hit the nimble elderly man as he avoids the blow at the last moment.
Even in his incredibly intoxicated state, the memory of his muscles and the fluid Ki of his body allowed the man to move in ways that seem impractical at times as Tadao's arms and legs move without any clear intention, yet they just seem to manage to move him towards the right position for him to be able to move away from the next attack over and over again. During this exchange, he didn't bother to waste energy counter striking the man, for he knew in a contest of stamina, his opponent would have him bet. Thus he needed to be careful about how long he wanted to wait for the perfect chance to strike back. He plan for his next attack carefully as he didn't want to waste his ultimate technique, which will cause the areas he touches to be contaminated by his aura of influence, and not of force. As the old man has won many battles without even needing to knock out knock out his opponent with this move. Though he saw a few opportunities already in-between his blow strikes, the drunk's instincts held him back as he could sense that the mountain slayer is aiming for something else. Something that he must not allow him to achieve by committing at the wrong moment.
Though for the audience these furry of blows may have lasted for a mere few seconds, but for the druken master it feels almost like an eternity as he searches for the opening he needed.

Goemon noticed, in shock, how wrong he had been about Tadao’s Ki. The Karate Star kept attacking not knowing what else to do, his mind rushed as fast as his fist, trying to find something on his training to deal with this technique. Nothing, just the whistling of his fist missing the Drunken Master by mere cms, Tadao’s ki control was beyond anything Goemon had ever seen before, a technique like this was the seal of a true master, unlike him who was just a very advanced student. For a moment the Karate Star contemplated defeat, realizing that his Outer Style, so focused on raw power, would never reach Tadao, but deep inside, fighting the wave of sinister thoughts creeping into his mind with each step his opponent took, a memory appeared.
When he was a young child, before becoming as big as he ended up being, he was just a runt running around the neighbourhood with his friends. They used to get into every possible trouble they could find and one of their hangouts was the alleyway right next to the local cinema theatre. They used to get all their money together and get a single ticket, so one of them could enter and prop the side exit for the rest to enter. There he fell in love with old Kung Fu movies from Hong Kong and in one of them he saw the great and late Bruce Lee perform his famed 1 inch punch. That was the key. Tadao’s ki seemed to rob any attack from its momentum, so Goemon needed an alternative attack that could do maximum impact with minimum momentum, but for that he would need to put everything at risk.
The sudden influx of inspiration made him realize his opponent’s aim, trying for a counter. Goemon decided to grant that wish and risk it all in a gamble. Shifting his attack pattern from karate strikes to Jeet Kun Do’s Straight Blast, he hoped that Tadao would attempt to strike in between his attacks, or even when he changed the rhythm of his offensive and when that happened he would reinforce his ki to defend and attack at the same time using the Maisetsu Kyo, to block the counter and connect a 1-inch punch on the Old Master chest. -COME ON OLD MAN, LET'S DO THIS!!- He roared with regained confidence, ready put the result of this fight in hands of lady luck.

During their exchanges, the old master has been searching for an opening, and once he sees his opponent's changing stance, he knew that his opportunity is approaching. As he sees the man's elbows come in and down, while simultaneously shifting his general stance to a more flexible and fluid one, which reflects a more traditional kung fu stance, he begins to think from Goemon's perspective as the man begins to launch a series of rapid fire straight jabs. Due to his immense martial arts experience, he can typically figure out what his enemy is aiming for, and thanks to his outward appearance as a crazy drunken idiot, his foes typically are fooled into believing that he doesn't fight with his brains.
In this situation, he imagines that the Karate Star is attempting to lure him with this forward pressing assault, which is made even easier by the repetitive pattern of attacks he is using against Tadao. However, the true trap of his tactic, is that when the drunk master counters, he will receive an immediate counter to his counter. Which means that the mountain slayer is assuming that he will be able to properly deliver his own strike, once he deals with Tadao's counter. The old drunk had to hold back a smile. HIs unique Ki already improves upon his unpredictable techniques, making him rather difficult to counterattack by reading both his body language and his KI, however the true beauty of his drunken fist style manifests once he connects with his infamous "Inebriate Touch."
While Goemon pushes forward launching his straight jabs towards Tadao, the supercentenarian couldn't help but admire his opponent's tenacity and boldness. His respect for the Karate Star motivates him to fight back with everything he has. As the mountain slayer's fists enter the space occupied by the drunken master's Ki, the punches begin to slow down and deviate slightly from their intended targets. Allowing the elderly man to dodge some strikes at the last moment, and the ones they did manage to land, simply gaze his checks or other parts of his body, but were unable to deal any real damage. Even though he could see plenty of openings in the initial seconds of Goemon's new attacks, the old man continues to holds back from countering just yet, as he wants to deliver his counterstrike from a different position within the ring. Using his opponent's forward charge, he slowly withdraws their fight towards the ropes, while he continues to evade the strikes with his goofy movements.
Finally, when they are just about to reach the ropes, the old man springs into action. The overall Ki surrounding his body doesn't alter, however, the Ki surrounding his fists seem to become looser and slightly larger for a brief instance. First, he waits for a jab from Goemon's leading right hand to extend outwards as it is about to deliver a blow. As the incoming fist comes with a few centimeters from his body, he immediately swings both his arms around as he prepares to deliver back to back strikes. The first strike is a backfist aiming for the Karate Star's leading jab's elbow, as Tadao attempts to use the larger man's momentum against him in order to redirect his arm away from his body, which will hopefully expose the right side of his body to his second strike, a quick cross punch to the liver.
Should the blows land, Goemon will most likely anticipate that these techniques are meant to deal serious damage, one to his elbow and the other to his liver, yet he may be surprise to discover that neither blow has the intention, nor force, to deal physical harm, but what may shock the man even further is to discover their true purpose as he finds out how efficient Tadao's "Inebriate Touch" truly is.

Goemon was getting nervous, his strikes weren’t being countered by Tadao. The Old Drunken Master clearly read his intentions. This was something the Karate Star knew he should improve, as Ichigan, his master, had always told him that he was too honest and easy to read. Goemon wasn’t somebody capable of subterfuge, not for lack of capacity, but because of his moral fiber, he was too upfront and direct to even attempt to properly fool somebody. Ichigan laughed at Goemon when he refused to attempt a cheap shot and when he stopped he imparted some advice to his student. “Afro-chan, if you don’t plan to fool your enemy you only have one path in front of you… Crush him directly from the front with all your might.” That piece of advice was something Goemon took to heart, building his body and Ki to reach that ideal, overwhelming strength for the sake of his pride as a martial artist, but right now he was feeling as if this path was getting darker with each step, any light swallowed by Tadao’s strange Ki.
The Karate Star knew that something was coming, but his anxiety delayed his reaction and suddenly his arm went limp, as Tadao’s technique pierced straight through his Ki layer, no, it expanded through it. -Dammit.- Goemon managed to whisper as he struggled to keep his arm up, to no avail, as his opponent technique had numbed the whole area. This created a giant hole in Goemon’s defenses, allowing the Drunken Master to launch his counter directly at the Karate Star flank, aiming for his liver. Yet Goemon wasn’t nicknamed for a martial art for nothing, as even if he wasn’t as well versed as his Grandmaster or his Master about several styles his mastery over Karate was beyond theirs and thus the style was a cornerstone not only of his offense but also his defense. And so as the attack inexorably got closer Goemon used diaphragmatic breathing to shift the position of his organs to avoid getting the same effect Tadao applied on his arm affecting his inner organs a much more dangerous situation. Not to mention that Tadao himself had cornered on his own against the ropes.
Even without the use of an arm, that he could just barely start feeling again, Goemon was still capable of using his other hand and as Tadao made contact the Karate Star aimed a 1-inch-punch directly on the Drunken Master Solar Plexus, as it was the core of the body, less able to spin and bend to deflect the damage through the use of Drunken Fist stances. -CHEEEESTO!- Goemon’s attack was a powerful piercing blow, focusing all the ki of his hand on his middle finger knuckle, trying to permeate through the bizarre defensive skill of his opponent.

When his hand strikes against his opponent's side, he could immediately tell that Goemon had successful shifted his organs. Still, he didn't waste time admiring his opponent's quick thinking and reflexes as he pull his hand back. He figures the mountain slayer will follow up with a counterattack right away. Normally, he would use his unique footwork to dodge, but with his back against the ropes, he couldn't very well evade, yet the elderly man didn't seem to be worried. After all, he purposely went to the ropes in order to increase the chances of his foe committing to another blow without hesitation. Things were simply going occurring to his game-plan. His plan is a bit old fashion, but even since he was a young child, he has always lived by the motto: You got to be willing to take a hit, to give a hit." It also helps that in his intense Ki infused drunken state his pain receptors are pretty numb for the most part. Remaining calm, he anticipates Goemon's next punch and performs a quick jump, in order to help minimize the damage, along with reinforcing the Ki protecting his body.
Though the distance is small, due to his unique Ki slowing down Goemon's incoming blow, he manage to create enough time for himself to get his feet off the ground when Goemon's 1-inch punch smashes into his chest. As the blow lands, a pint of blood erupts from the drunken master's mouth, heading purposely towards the direction of his opponents eyes, as Tadao attempts to use his own blood to temporarily blind and distract his opponent. Had he not have his back already on the robes, the force of the blow would have launch him into the roaring crowd. Though his body doesn't feel much pain in his drunken state, he still had to do his best to hold back screaming in agony, as he didn't want to give away how much damage that attack just did. Instead of yelling in pain, the bloody mouth supercentenarian cracks a smile as the robes prove to be strong enough to support him, and now he is exactly where he wants to be.
The reason why he place himself against the ropes is simply because they serve as a precaution. For he knew if the Mountain Slayer manage to land a significant power shot against him, he would have been sent out of reach of his expose appendage. Yet, thanks to the ropes he didn't go anywhere. While Goemon still has his fist extended with his middle finger's knuckle touching Tadao's chest, the drunken master quickly launches two simultaneous palm strikes in almost a x formation at the extend limb. With one of his palm strikes aiming for the forearm, and the other intending to strike against the shoulder of the same arm.
Worse comes to worse, he will simply move into a quick clinch. After all, he didn't need to force his way though his opponent's defenses with his "Inebriate Touch." All he needs to do is make sure that his Ki infused hands reach his opponent. Thanks to this technique, that the drunken master has develop through many decades, he didn't need to strike his target in order for his infamous technique to work. After all, he has won more fights due to incapacitating his previous opponent, as oppose to knocking them out with brute force. And with Goemon's other arm already infected with his Ki, he plans to continue infecting the man's limbs until he is no longer capable of using his arms. At that point, the Karate Star will have no choice but to surrender.
Yet Tadao still feels the extreme need to be careful here. Even If he manages to lands these two strikes successful, Goemon will still be capable of using his other arm relatively well, and he isn't about to underestimate a style known for its famous one armed masters.

Goemon had to contain the roar of triumph that was surging from his throat once his knuckle connected with the slippery Old Master. The jet of crimson liquid Tadao spewed flew right towards the Karate Star’s face, yet he managed to weave to the side, only getting blood splattered over one of his eyes. He knew, deep down, that this attack wasn’t the finishing blow he expected it to be so he kept his cool, at least for a single breath, as Tadao started moving and Goemon realized how wrong he had been, thinking he had managed to catch his opponent in a trap. Truly it was the Karate Star the one dancing to the tune of Tadao’s manipulation, who cleverly masked his own trap around Goemon’s. -Sly old fox.- The Karate Star managed to whisper as he tried to predict what came next as the ropes buckled back with Tadao’s weight. The attacks hit their mark and Goemon’s arm, infected by Tadao’s Inebriate touch his arm starts feeling numb, his reactions slower. The Karate Star jumps backward, trying to get some distance between him and Tadao to think about his next move, but still things weren't looking good for Goemon and he knew it, both of his arms felt weird, it was difficult to lift them into a guarding position.

Noting the difficulty Goemon is having lifting his arms into a guard stance, Tadao knew this is the moment to push forward and put pressure on his large opponent with a volley of techniques in an attempt to overwhelm the Karate Star with his signature technique, until he could no longer lift his arms. Yet when he steps forward, his chest suddenly feels like its about to burst. The blow he received had done more damage to him than he thought. He stares at the karate stare for a few moments before cracking a smile, and proceeding to say softly without uttering a single slur, "That was a beautiful technique young one. However, had it been your master throwing the punch, this battle would have already been over." The old drunk has a gut feeling that his opponent hasn't thrown his strongest punch. Whether he himself realize this or not, he has no idea. But Tadao knew if the Mountain slayer had used his full power in that last attack, the drunken master would have lost this fight. These next few exchanges could very well determine the winner of their contest, which means he can't give him the chance to recover. For split moment, Tadao appears to be drifting to the side as if he is about to collapse, but he quickly swings his body around. And he continues to repeat this strange pattern as he moves forward, while waving his arms around in an irregular fashion. By the time he gets within arms reach, he proceeds to unleash a series of slap like motions as he tries to open up his opponent's guard. By this time the the Ki covering his hands is beginning to shrink and return to their previous size before he started using the "Inebriate Touch" technique.

-If my master was in this fight he would’ve punched you through the ceiling in the first exchange.- Goemon chuckled, not trying to mock Tadao, just a nostalgic grin as he remembered his master and his total lack of restraint. The Karate Star tightened up his muscles trying to regain the complete use of his arms. As he did that his opponent charged erratically in his direction, Goemon only had a split second to think what to do. He knew that staying close to Tadao would be mean the end of the fight, and that the Drunken Master’s Ki was stopping him from performing any effective physical attacks. Then it dawned on him, maybe direct physical attacks would never pierce through. With that in mind he gathered his Ki on his left hand, the first that got hit and the one that was currently feeling better and as Tadao launched his offensive of snaps Goemon leaped into the air channeling his Ki into his fist and setting it ablaze through Ki manipulation.
YAMAKOROSHI TENKU NO HI! (Mountain Slaying Heavenly Fire) -I’m going to burn all your booze in one go!- And with that proclamation he used a Yamakoroshi Moete Ken, Hermit Nensho’s technique in a stage 1 Mountain Slaying Fist, meaning he launched a blast of burning Ki directly at Tadao’s location, with a blast wide enough to cover a good diameter around the Drunken Master. Goemon hoped that his purely Ki-based attack would be able to pierce the Drunken Master's strange defensive techniques that deflected his physical efforts.

The drunken master could only smirk at Goemon's comment. As the Karate Star jumps into the air, Tadao figures the man is simply trying to create some distance. -Is he planning to run away in hopes I will tire out? Well, I don't doubt he could outlast me if he makes this a contest of endurance, but he doesn't come off as the type of man who will be satisfied with a victory using such a strategy. Regardless, for now, I can't waste energy needlessly.- The aura of energy surrounding his hands quickly shrink in size as he ceases altering the Ki covering his hands for his "Inebriate Touch" technique. He figures that once Goemon hits the ground, he will have to bomb rush him, and pressure him towards the corner. Hopefully Goemon will continue to believe that he is still using his infamous technique, which will assist his ability to push his larger opponent towards the corner of the ring. And once he traps his movements, he will reactivate his signature technique, and deliver the necessary blows to finish this match. Satisfied with the plan he formulated in a split second of the mountain slayer leaping high into the air, the drunken master simply waits for the man to land before he commits to his assault, yet he is surprised when the Karate Star begins to gather Ki into his left hand.
Before he could even properly process what is happening, he could no longer see the image of his opponent, as a blast of flames is heading towards him. His body moves on its own as he prepares to leap backwards, yet he immediately stops his own body as he realizes that if he jumps back now, he could very well leap out of the ring. With no choice left, he simply builds up the Ki around his body to protect him, and rolls to the side as the blast strikes. He manage to avoid a direct hit, but the sheer size of Gomeon's attack was simply too massive to dodge entirely. The drunken master continues to roll on the floor, until he has successful put out the flames covering his body. His clothes were burn from head to toe, but for the most part he looks like he hasn't suffered too badly. Yet, he knew he just lost the momentum of the fight. Plus he is no where near his opponent to even attempt a counterstrike. And worse than that, he now knows that his opponent has a move that would be dangerous against him if it lands. He gets back to his feet with one quick spiraling motion and right into a loose guard as he tries to figure out his next move.

Goemon landed in a Karate Horse Stance, both of his fist touching his sides, his elbows popping out behind him. The hand he used to attack still on fire. From that stance he relaxed into a less defensive stance moving both of his hands in front of his face, open palms, with the sides opposite to the thumb aimed directly at Tadao. As he moved he spoke. -Passing from generation to generation the Mountain Slaying Fist evolves alongside the times.- The same flames burning on his hand coursed through his arm, lit up his eyes and then kept going until reaching his other hand, that also burst aflame. -No matter who the opponent is we will slay them.- Goemon clenched both fists, the flames burning even brighter. -Even if we face a foe as sturdy as a mountain our fist will break their bodies and shatter their will.- The Karate Star returned to the Horse Stance, with one arm a bit more pushed back, ready to punch.
-THAT’S THE MOUNTAIN KILLER FIST TEACHING!- Goemon roared as he gathered his Ki, he knew that he didn’t have more than a single strike on him, so he wanted to maximize it’s usage, he will bait Tadao into charging, but the experience of this match, fighting the slippery old fox, also taught him that each of his own traps were used against him by Tadao, so this time around it was the moment for a counter, to the counter that Tadao would surely use against his own counter. Goemon’s ki spiked into a blazing nova surrounding his fist, determination shining on his eyes while keeping a small quantity of his ki on his off-hand, for his last gambit. He kept the boisterous facade, something easy for him as he was naturally the largest ham around. -SO COME ON AND FACE THE MIGHT OF THE STYLE CREATED BY THE HERMIT NENSHO! FEEL THE FIST THAT SHATTERS MOUNTAINS AND PIERCES THE HEAVENS! THE MOUNTAIN SLAYING FIST 4TH MASTER, GOEMON WILLIAMS ISSUES A CHALLENGE TO YOU TADAO DOMEN!!-
Goemon only had hope on his plan and confidence on the teachings imparted to him by his master, doubt was burnt away in the flames of his determination. In this move he put everything, from the origin of his style to its newest smoldering ember.

When Goemon mentions the hermit, Tadao's eyes seem to almost sparkle. Even going back almost 100 years ago, during his early days of walking down the path of martial arts, he heard many tales about a great martial arts master by the name of Nensho, and his accomplishments. Now, after all these years later it is a bit refreshing to hear someone in a much younger generation of martial arts say the legend's name. In the back of his mind, he spends some time wondering if the old man is still standing at the top of the summit of the martial arts world. As a fighter, who is hasn't been out of his prime for about half a century, the hermit is truly an inspiration for him today if he is still operating at the highest level of martial arts even at his age. Compare to the other legends out there, he never did manage to climb as high, but nevertheless he is still pride to have reach as high as he did and leave his mark.
After Goemon's little speech, the drunken master simply comments, "I ain't no mountain, so don't expect me to stand still." And immediately after he finishes the sentence, he begins to shift his body into a rather strange posture, which look to be completely unbalance as he awkwardly spreads his legs and arms, while tilting the center of his body towards the front leg, which is barely supporting any of his weight. The motion looks very similar to a man falling face forward, yet somehow he is sustaining his free fall.
He could tell, one wrong move, and it would be over. That is just how devastating the mountain slayer fist truly is, but that also is the key to his victory. Everything about this moment is telling him that his foe is preparing to give it all he has to finish this fight, which means he is going to need to make sure that he properly evades and counters the knockout blow. For now, he will continue to adapt his previous plan, which is to pressure the large man against the corner of the ring, where he will be able to lock his moment. From there, Tadao will be perfectly capable of delivering a series of combos with the Inebriate Touch. But first thing first, he will need to create pressure to gain ring control, and that will require a him to press forward without getting hit. For a brief second, the elderly man looks up so that he can lock eyes with his opponents.
Looking into this man's eyes, he could easily see his determination, and in it he could see his potential. Regardless of the outcome of this next exchange, of this fight, he knew there is still room for the man to grew as a martial artist. One of the reasons he still participates in the SBF, is to continue to meet new fighters. The majority of them have no hope in making it far in the rankings, but then there are the rare few stars that he could see one day challenging the best of the best. Not due to their natural talent, but because of their unbreakable willpower, which will push them to break their limitations time and time again. And as their contest continues, so too does his faith in this man's future as a marital artist. At this point in his life, he sometimes wonders the only true purpose left in his life is just to serve as a obstacle for someone else's journey. If so, then he do his best for Goemon. But not just for his opponent's sake to improve, but also to satisfied his love for fighting.
"Let's see what you can do, Master Williams!" His body jerks forward, but quickly backwards, as well as his arms and legs adjusting in one fluid pattern over and over again, as they consistently switches stances in a circling formation. Making it look like the drunken master is about to collapse any second. Yet, over time his body begins to become a blur as his movements increase in speed, before long an after image appears and follows right behind the old man's motions, making it seem as if their is an intangible Tadao clinging to the the physical one. Soon enough, the elderly man's Ki starts to flare up, and begins to move as if it has a will of its own, which quickly wraps around, and interchanges between Tadao and his afterimage to the point, that even someone who is a master at sensing Ki, would find it difficult to pinpoint where is Tadao's body by reading his Ki.
Eventually, even the blur surrounding his body begins to disappear, but with it the clear distinction of the real Tadao from his afterimage. As it now looks as if Tadao has somehow created a perfect twin, that is conjoined via his ki, thanks to both of them being cover in a layer of his unique Ki and being so close. But due to his continuous movements, the part where they are conjoined is always changing. At times it is like the two Tadao are back to back, and sometimes side by side. Yet, regardless they maintain a forward charge as they move towards Goemon. This technique is another one of the drunken master's creations, as he combines his KI and his body movements in order to make a realistic afterimage move alongside him. Typically causing his opponent's great confusion, as they are essentially seeing double. He calls this move, "Small Drunken Steps."
He hopes to use this move and his forward motion into baiting his opponent to attack first, from there he will deliver a feint jab after he plans to evade the blow with the help of his Ki slowing the incoming attack. The reason for the feint jab is simple, it will usually confuse the opponent even further since it will make it appear that one Tadao is striking from his front right hand, and that the other Tadao is delivering a jab from his front left hand, which will come in from the opposite direction. The feint also helps him determine his opponent's mindset, and judging by his reaction can help him determine when to begin the real attack. Once he throws the feint(s), he imagines that Goemon will be force to attack the middle of his body, or retreat. In the case of the attack down the middle, the drunken master will once again have to do his best to not smile, as his opponent will have fallen for his trick once again, and should he move backwards, he will focus on pushing him back to the corner. Now, should the karate star attempt another jump, he will simply leap after him, and from their switch into his Inebriate Touch techniques. Yet, should the fight go into the air, his afterimage will quickly disappear, from his waist down, but not from his upper body.

Goemon gathered his willpower and Ki as Tadao spoke to him. The Karate Star was sure that he wouldn’t have enough to even move after this move, he had been spending Ki at an accelerated rate searching for different ways to defeat his opponent. Goemon was ready, his mind, spirit and heart burning as one with the same intent defeating Tadao, yet there was a final hurdle to clear, as the Drunken Master footwork technique was confusing the Karate Star. Ki-tracking wasn’t something Goemon was skilled at, his master wasn’t and never taught it properly, but even before being a martial artist, the Karate Star was an athlete and if there was a single skill that helped him in both fields was Dynamic Vision. -I...- Goemon eyes, enhanced by his golden ki, followed Tadao’s movements. -CAN…- The Karate Star wasn’t following Tadao’s body, head or even his limbs. -SEE…- Goemon was following the Drunken Master’s shadow, as his Ki duplicate didn’t have one. Goemon tracked the movements and placed himself right on Tadao’s way, his fist directly aimed at the Drunken Master waist, as it was the place that can shift the least during footwork. -YOU!-
Goemon’s intent wasn’t hitting with this first attack, as he pushed his limits, his muscles dangerously close to tearing apart as he pushed them further than ever, he could feel his bones rattling, almost popping out from the shoulder socket as he launched a fist aimed not at Tadao, but the space between them. At first it seemed as if Goemon was aiming to launch a blast of compressed air, like before, but that only was the spark of creativity that started the plan, as he needed to be able to hit the Drunken Master if he wanted to win, and just like Tadao said, he wasn’t a mountain. But the Karate Star remembered asking a question along those lines “Master, how can I hit the mountain slaying fist on a moving target?” Only for a split second, as his fist moved forward he smiled with nostalgia, remembering the answer Ichigan gave him. “This is the Fuckin' Mountain Slaying fist you're learning', you always think of your enemy as a mountain and if they move, just turn them into a fuckin’ mountain” Goemon laughed at the answer, what got him a corrective punch on top of his head.
It passed some time, mostly because Ichigan wasn’t the best teacher around, until Goemon understood his master’s words. “Turning the enemy into a Mountain” didn’t mean covering them in rock, what comically his own student could do, but restrict their movements and transform them into a static target. And thus the first part of his strategy started as his fist stopped midway, some would think that he was tired or that Tadao’s technique caused Goemon to misjudge the distance, but truly this attack wasn’t aimed at his opponent and neither was to create wind pressure, even if it did as a secondary effect. Goemon, always more of a power fighter than a nimble warrior did something he never did and coursed his Ki not to enhance his durability or his striking power, but his strength and his sturdy body barely managed to stay together as massive BOOM, signaled that he just broke the sound barrier. Blood spurted out of his nose and down one of his lacrimal ducts, even out of his ears, as he never did this before and didn’t know how to prepare his body for it.
In the silence created by his injured ears, he didn’t notice how the shockwave of his attack caused the bleachers to collapse, but surely didn’t affect Tadao’s elastic defense, just like his wind pressure attacks weren’t as successful as he once expected. Goemon fist broke through a barrier never meant to be broken by human hands, but still his unbreakable will and burning determination, still blasting out his bloodshot eyes, kept him going. As fast as he punched he retracted his fist, still keeping most of the fiery charge on it. What was the purpose of this first attack? The rapid displacement of air created by his fist would cause a momentary vacuum, as the wind created by the shockwave would loop back into the point of impact. Hopefully this would cause Tadao’s erratic movement to be drawn to the point of impact, while Goemon, who was using a more steady stance, would clamp his calloused Karateka toes into the mat and resist, ready to throw his second punch, an attack that Tadao would have to intercept.

As the he sees the incoming punch heading towards the midsection of his body, the Drunken Master waits patiently for Goemon's fist to interact with the Ki surrounding his body. In his mind, he could vision the next steps clearly. Once his opponent's movements slow down, he will complete the second phase of the "Small Drunken Steps" technique by employing a variation of the classic afterimage technique, which could only be accomplish by being extremely light on his feet. From there, he would deliver a powerful shot right into the spine of his opponent with his special technique and end this contest. However, he didn't anticipate that the Karate Star would create a gigantic and powerful shockwave. And due to his his footwork, Tadao couldn't brace himself quickly enough before the sudden eruption of wind pressure knocks him off his feet and over the ring. His momentum only stopped when he crashes into the wall, which he slammed into with enough force to create a hole in the shape of his own figure. Daze, the drunken master couldn't properly move momentarily as he rests inside the wall.

1…
Goemon arm hang lifelessly besides his body.
2...
He wasn’t ready in the least for the damage caused by breaking the sound barrier. He saw people do it before, but he never attempted it, maybe because there was something deep inside that made him think that such feat would cut him off from humanity.
3…
That’s a surprising thought for somebody capable of blasting fire with his fists or manipulating his Ki for feats of strength, but always, since he was very young, The Karate Star associated high speeds in combat with real mastery, as one of his idols, Bruce Lee, was fast enough to make his punches vanish in front of the camera.
4…
Maybe it was a matter of respect, or simple fear, that kept Goemon from overcoming this barrier. But now that the barrier was broken, so was his arm. The Karate Star felt his body as lead, incapable of moving an inch, looking at the place where Tadao ended up, as the people from the audience started rising from the collapsed bleachers, too entranced by the fight to complain about broken bones, bleeding or bruises.
5…
Goemon’s breathing was irregular, he spent a lot in that punch, maybe more than he should. Still he wasn’t satisfied with it, not because he wanted to injure his opponent, but the current situation stopped him from performing his whole strategy and the more Tadao took to get into the ring the less likely it was he would be able to actually finish the strategy, his arm feeling as if was hit by constant discharges of electricity burning him from the inside. The Karate Star couldn’t hear the count, following it with blurry vision as Rory, standing on the commentator table was counting for everyone to see.
6…
Something was wrong, maybe it was the pain or the fading adrenaline but for a moment Goemon felt his Master’s Ki. Maybe he was here on spirit, looking over his shoulder, chastising him for not punting Tadao on the family jewels. It was like his Master’s Ki, but at the same it wasn’t, maybe he was just too confused and groggy from all the punishment he took. Still he didn’t have the time to wonder about the possibility of life after death, or if Ki allowed their users to become Force Ghosts a-la Star Wars. He was only focused on Tadao. Goemon tried to lift his left arm, but it was totally dead, incapable of any movement, it would take a long time to heal, but this would be a lesson to him….

7...
Tadeo's eyes open wide as he can finally hear the countdown. The sudden realization of how close he is to losing this fight causes a rush of adrenaline throughout his body, along with his already Ki enhanced drunken state acting as a painkiller, the agony that his body was feeling a moment ago vanishes for a brief instance. With a simple and brutish motion, the elderly man breaks through the concert of the wall that was holding his body in place by swinging both his arms and legs forward, causing him to land on all fours. He quickly looks up to see his opponent.
Judging by the Goemon's body language he could figure out two things. One, he is barely holding it together. That last move was surely his best attempt to win this contest. Fortunately for him, the Karate Star must not be use to such feats, otherwise he wouldn't have left his body in such a horrible condition, nor would he have needlessly overdo it by sending him into the wall as he did. For that is the other thing he notice. Disappointment. His opponent never intended to knock him out of the ring.
8...
As he hears Rory scream the next number, his body performs a quick backflip and places his hand and feet against the side of the wall right above the hole his crash created. His appearance could almost resemble the classic webslinger for a split moment, besides missing the classic red/blue outfit, the youth, and a witty remark. His muscles tense up for a brief moment as he summons his body's Ki to momentarily improve the strength of his body for his next move.
9...
Right before he launches himself, his body loosens up. As he is about to slide down the wall, he leaps off with a jolt of explosive energy. The force of his push off causes the already crack section of the wall to shatter into flying pieces of debris as he flings through the air at nearly the speed of sound. The old man's body could no longer be followed by the majority of their audience, as all they would be able to see is a puff of smoke replace his previous location.
Meanwhile, the less mundane spectators will probably follow the elderly man's movements through the air. As he covers half the distance between the wall and the ring, his arms swing as the kinetic energy of his jump transfers from feet to his upper torso and arms. His figure now resemble that of a driver's body heading towards the water, except here he is replacing the water with Gomeon.
Within fractions of a second later, as Rory is just about to scream out the final count, Tadao's body flies over the ropes and he releases two simultaneous palm strikes aiming for his opponent's chest. However, these attacks are not only being backed by the momentum of his leap from the wall, or the nearly flawless motion of his body movement, but his hands are once again cover by a thick layer of Ki. Tadao is planning to end this fight right here with one more blow with his "Inebriate Touch."
No more games. No more faints. No more holding back and being patient. The drunken master has an opportunity before him with his weaken opponent, and he plans to finish their fight before the Karate Star's body fails on its own. Just like Goemon, Tadao would not be satisfied by a victory without it being his own hands landing the winning blow.

Goemon raised his arms as he saw the incoming Drunken Master Missile. Yet his body was not responding, the shockwave of his previous attack didn’t just hit him outside, but also inside, reverberating through his veins and causing small bleedings and nerve damage all around his body. Still he struggled to move as the more Tadao got closer, the slower time seemed to pass, the Karate Star senses heightened to their maximum, feeling even the rumbling of the air displaced by the Drunken Master’s lethal lunge. “C’mon Goemon, move, move, move!” His mind race as pain coursed his body, not even the almost poisonous amount of adrenaline on his veins could silence the screaming agony every fiber of muscle in his body was experiencing.
“Remember what Ichigan said, remember it, remember what you have been teaching Jose” These thoughts bolted through his brain as every cm of his body tensed up, drawing power from where there was none. A flickering flame of golden ki appeared on his eye as his ruined left hand closed into a fist. Tadao was already inside the ring, his palms loaded with Ki, surely the same technique as before, but intensified. The Karate Star could feel it even while the Drunken Master was out of range, the numbness on his limbs and body, heaviness falling upon his body and mind. “Don’t fall down! DON’T SURRENDER! DON’T GIVE IN!” He pumped himself up as jolts of pain travelled through his body. Tadao was even closer, almost making contact.
The Drunken Master palms found no resistance when they clashed into Goemon’s gut. He steeled his stomach to block part of the damage, but the pernicious Ki had permeated through his meager defenses and the effect was spreading. A chill coursed the Karate Star spine, feeling the cold fingers of defeat gripping his heart. But in this freezing atmosphere, chilling him to the bone, that’s when his master thrived and as his student he couldn’t do less than him. The flickering flame of his eyes seemed to go out as his body was pushed back, his heels sliding over the mat as he was knocked towards the center of the ring. But just as his body seemed to starting shutting out the flames on his pupil exploded into a raging bonfire, a blaze of martial determination and adamantine discipline.
The massive body of the Karate Star gathered all its remaining power and to the surprise of the audience, who was watching standing on the rubble that once formed the bleachers, used that power to punch himself with his broken hand. A surge of golden lighting sparked out his bleeding fist and flooded his body, fighting off the numbness of the Inebriate Touch as Goemon’s right hand moved back, readying itself for a last attack. Even deafened by the shockwave the Karate Star could hear the beating of his heart, roaring with boisterous joy, for the chance of pushing through his limits again. Goemon’s fist started advancing, whatever Ki he had left charged on that right hand. The audience was silent as the hand moved forward directly aimed at Tadao’s head.
-CHEEEEEESTO!- Goemon roared as his whole soul was behind the attack, his fist inching ever closer to Tadao’s face, but suddenly it stopped, mere millimeters away from reaching the Drunken Master’s face. The effect of his Guts Punch was meant to heal wounds, not counteract Ki. It gave him valuable seconds that if he had available with a less broken body might have been enough to reach the Old Master, but in his current state, mere millimeters, a hair width, was how far he could go. The golden flame vanished from Goemon’s eyes, that turned blank, as he started falling forward, like a puppet with his strings cut. The Karate Star gave everything on this fight. Somebody in the shadows of one of the exits of the arena smiled, he had been looking at the fight for a while and was enthralled by it, no knowing why. He passed his calloused hand over his face, as if he was trying to wipe the smile from his face, unsure about the reason for it.
A faint deep purple glimmer radiated from behind his eyes. Ikari Fukushi was observing the match with interest on his eyes and anybody who had contact with any Gainen would notice him, as even while trying to hide his power a bit always leaked out, incapable to be contained by the swirling whirlpool of Ikari’s burning hatred.

As Tadao sees the incoming blow, he has no time to establish his unique aura in an attempt to affect the approaching strike. However, he manages to smile just as the light of the blazing Ki blinds his vision. In that moment he was truly satisfied with himself. He was able to give it his all against a worthy opponent. Yet, just as quickly as his smile appears, it vanishes along with the golden light. The elderly Chinese master is caught completely by surprise by his opponent's immobility. The world appears to be frozen from his perspective for a brief moment as he looks into the eyes of his fainting opponent. Throughout this entire fight, his admiration for Goemon has only grown stronger and stronger. And now that their battle is over, he didn't wish to see such an amiable fellow fall face first into the ground. The old geezer catches the gigantic body of Goemon and gently lays him on the floor. As he is crouching over the unconscious Karate Star, he places his hand over his body and begins to retract any of his lingering Ki still affecting the mountain slayer.
Once he removes all of his drunken Ki, he turns towards Rory and says, "Look after him.." He pauses for a moment before adding, "...Rory, I hope someday you will experience the same joy that I felt when I fought against this man." He looks back at Goemon and examines his body, while also replaying their recent contest in his head. After he finishes recollecting, he thinks to himself, -From here on you will start to truly tap into your vast potential. Probably within a couple of months from now I will no longer be able to give you such a fantastic fight. But worry not young man, there are plenty of fighters in the federation, and around the world, who will be able to push you past your limits time and time again. Someday, you may even surpass your master. Though, I pray that while you continue to expand your prowess, you will also hold on to your principles.- He slowly gets up and begins to stretch his back. He takes a moment to check out his attire, only to discover that his clothes have become ruin. His robes, while not torn enough to reveal the immense scar tissue covering his arms and torso, were sufficiently burn and dirty enough to warrant a headache inducing conversation with his wife later. "Good thing I have another outfit with me," he whispered to himself.
Jose slowly wakes up in the locker room. At first he is not sure exactly where he is, but with a quick scan of the room he soon enough spots a couple of fighting bandages, and he instantly remembers his current location. Still having trouble moving, he remains still and prepares to use his supernatural senses to figure out what is going on. Yet, before he could even think of searching for his master's Ki signature, a familiar energy immediately grabs his attention. The earth shaker only needed a second to comprehend the presence of Ikari Fukushi. Immediately, his body begins to surge as he tries to force himself to get up. Fueled by the anger that he holds against the criminal, the young bounty hunter loses control of his abilities, and soon enough the earth around him begins to slightly stir. Causing not only his room, but the the ring and the stands to shake as well.

-THE WINNER BY KNOCKOUT!- Rory managed to finally gather his voice, most of the fight he kept his silence, part as respect for the fighters and part because even while being a denizen of the Hidden World many parts of the bout were difficult to follow. -AND STILL RETAINING HIS SPIRIT BOXING FEDERATION RANK IS…- The Half-Ogre jumped inside the ring and raised Tadao’s arm. -TADAO DOMEN!!!!!- The crowd went wild, cheering and stomping their feet, something that made the extremely happy Rory visibly upset, seeing how they were utterly destroying whatever remained of the bleachers. It would be a couple of months of just standing crowds. Rory wanted to pass the microphone to Tadao. -Will the winner say a few words after standing victorious in the first, hopefully of many, bloody main event of this establishment?- As soon as he extended his hand a tremor made everybody in the room became dead silent and only the sound of the mic hitting the mat, as it slipped out of Rory’s hand, echoed in the now dead arena.
Ikari walked into the locker room, his eyes burning with deep purple flames and a cocky smile on his face. -Huh, long time no see Rocky, not since Kyoto.- The Agent of Hatred leaned without a care in the world against the lockers. -I must say that was one mission I didn’t completely hate, your blond friend put up a decent fight.- Ikari cracked his knuckles with a sinister and bloodthirsty smile, remembering his duel against Callis Nomene. -I was around this area and heard about this place, guess I wanted to check if you could put the same kind of fight as that Drifter, but it seems I was wrong.- He made a pause, showing the simplest glimpse of pain on his face, just a jolt crossing his head. Ikari made a feint, almost grabbing the side of his head, but that moment of vexing pain stopped and his expression became less harsh and a bit more… playful? -You did everything wrong there Rocky, you had that bitch prime and ready for a counter-attack, but you didn’t attempt it.- The way he was talking, except for the profanity, made him sound a lot like Goemon.
Ikari entered a fighting stance, one so similar to Goemon’s that Jose might see his Master’s image overlapping with Ikari’s. -Your teacher does know his shit, but he isn’t willin’ to go dirty enough to get the shit done.- He threw a couple of punches, as if he was warming up, before slightly shifting his stance, until it looked almost the same as Jose’s. -When the bitch tried that uppercut, you should’ve used what seemed more natural, discard forms and stances, they are fancy, but not fuckin’ useful in a fight.- Ikari’s tone was changing, if his movements seemed like Goemon’s his speech patterns seemed more akin to somebody else Jose met in Sakurajima. -I know ya punch Earth, doin’ a fuckin’ jump when ya do it, when ya lift walls and shit like that.- Ikari mimicked a downwards punch. -Ya could’ve countered the shit out of her and they would’ve still be cleanin’ her fuckin’ teeth out of the fuckin’ mat.- He seemed to be filled with enthusiasm while explaining, but as suddenly as this bizarre shift in personality started it also ended, with a more noticeable jolt of pain crossing his face, such agony was felt by Ikari that his fist hammered into a locker door, caving it in.
-Ugh… No matter that… I hate being disappointed, but truly I also hate people who don’t respect other’s property, so you either stop the rumbling or you will know first hand how did I almost kill your furry friend.- Ikari’s back to his regular self, his eyes shining on Jose. -I have something to tell you so you can relay it to your master when he wakes up.-

Tadao, believing this to be an signs of an early earthquake, quickly scoops up the dropped mic and tells the crowd, "Everyone, leave calmly to the nearest exit!" He hands the mic back to Rory to organize the evacuation and quickly goes back to his locker room. He wanted to make sure that Pitch wasn't still inside. During his short trip, the shaking sensation only continues to intensify, yet by the time he reaches the locker room, the shaking has weaken greatly, and a few seconds later it stopped completely. Still, he couldn't wait to see if the that was only momentarily. "Miss, are you still here?!" he yells as he notices that the curtains separating the sides of their locker room are closed.
By the time Jose gets to his feet, Ikari steps into the locker room. The room begins to shake more violently in correlation to Jose increasing anger. Yet, when Ikari begins to suddenly experience a personality change and perform a few moves, the earth shaker is ironically too shaken up to do anything else but watch the man's explanation of what he should have done in his fight against Pitch. The more and more he explains, the more and more he recognizes his own master in this man's movements. His anger is quickly replace by confusion, causing the shaking to gradually weaken. By the time Ikari has return to his typical self, Jose is no longer fueled by his madden state, and he could think much more clearly.
Right now he recognize the current situation he is in. The young bounty hunter could barely stand, and even if he is at 100%, or even 1000%, he couldn't defeat this man. He is no where near his level. The only idea he could think to use if he wants a chance of victory, is to bury the man so far into the earth that he either dies of suffocation, or burning in the molten lava deep beneath the earth's crust. Yet, he quickly disregards the idea as even being possible when he looks into the man's eyes. If he tries anything right here, he would end up being a puddle of blood for the clean up crew to deal with. And that would be the end of Jose Hernandez.
The earth finally stops shaking. With no other options, he simply grit his teeth and clenches his fists as he asks, "What's your message?"
